on our exposé of corrupt local dentists (in Greene county, NY): We are informed that our efforts and support of a reader who was a victim of Coxsackie Dental Arts, “Dr” Kurt Froehlich, have paid off. The reader’s credit card company has found in favor of the patient and has denied CDA and Frohlich payment, crediting the amount back to the patient. CDA and Froehlich can appeal the credit card company’s decision within 45 days, but Froehlich still got to deal with possible court action and possible investigation by the insurance company and the Greene County DA and NYS Attorney General for possible fraud for double-billing, billing the insurance company for services never rendered, and trying to collect from the patient!

Yeah! It’s an awful statement of a stereotype because it’s not true everywhere and always; in other words, it can’t be generalized to the entire population. But if people don’t like stereotypes or don’t like being forced into a stereotype, why do they insist on acting out the stereotype and giving it new life?

I shop at the Glenmont Pricechopper and sometimes use the BankAmerica ATM next door. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen vehicles parked in front of the BankAmerica facing the wrong direction and forcing buses and other vehicles to go around them, risking a mishap in the oncoming lane.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had the pleasure of noting that almost all of those lazy, inconsiderate scofflaws were “persons of color“, actually blacks.

“I stopped and parked properly in the parking lot across from the ATM and noted a minivan type vehicle parked directly in front of the ATM on the wrong side of the street, facing oncoming traffic. A bus and a couple of cars had to maneuver around it to continue their trips. When I crossed the street I must have shot it a displeased look (no one was inside), but when I entered the ATM lobby, a black woman with alien locks was looking at me and says, “I saw that judgmental look at my car.” I couldn’t believe my ears. I responded, “It’s parked illegally and forcing people to go around it. Can’t you park properly?” She then launched into a tirade only a black could do to a white person, yelling that she saw my “judgmental look” at her car, and who did I think I was. I told I was the one obeying the law and parking properly and that she should save her paranoia for someone else. So she tells me to go “fuck” myself to which I responded, “Bitch! Get your money and leave so I don’t have to share this space with you.” She again told me to “fuck” myself.
Imagine if I, a whitie, started off on her like that and spoke to her like that. Or if I parked like that? Wonder if the Bethlehem Police would have ignored the white boy doing that?
Just thought you’d enjoy this after seeing “Black lives matter” until I want to puke!”

Before you get all self-righteous and politically correct, let us just agree on one point before you read on: This post is not about hate or racism or anything like either. This is a post that very clearly and honestly looks at a situation and how it came to be what it is. Very few of our readers will be able to deny having a similar experience. So let’s get on with it.

Another reader writes about his/her experience when attempting to get a price on a simple sewing job:

“I read your blog about the dentists and I thought you’d be interested in this recent experience. [Editor’s Note: The reader is referring to our recent article, “Local Dentists. Are you being abused, taken for a ride in the chair?“, in which we discuss local dentists, especially Coxsackie Dental Arts (Kurt Frohlich) and Marvin Gertzberg (formerly of New Baltimore Family Dentistry), and their scams.]

“I had a small sewing job I needed done and figured I’d try a smallish place that had put up some signs at the four-corners in Glenmont, feeling it’s better to support a local small business than go to one of the larger establishments. It was a disappointing experience but taught me a great lesson in where we are in this country.

“I walked in and stood there watching a middle-aged man of color fussing with some garments. He didn’t say a word, or even look up at first but after a minute or two he came over and said, “What can I do for you.”

“I explained what I wanted done–seemed really simple since all I felt needed to be done was slip the thing under the sewing machine needle and stitch the material, that’s all I was asking for.

“The man started a mini-course in sewing and how this needed to be done and that had to be done. I clarified that all I wanted was for him to stitch the material. He continued, telling me that he charged for every 15 inches; there was a charge for every 15 inches of stitching. He continued by telling me that this length would be $45 and this another about $30, etc. until I was completely mindboggled that this job was already more than $100. I told him that if it was more than $25 I just was not going to have do it. I jokingly said I could get a surgeon to stitch for less money, and that he should be a doctor.

“Well, the little man then got downright insulted and told me that I was “rude and being smart,” for making such a comment. He told me that every profession has its rates of charge and that I was “ignorant” for not knowing that. I was shocked at his attitude and left saying, “Have a nice day and good luck, you’ll need it.”

“P.s. I’m white middle class, well educated, a decent person and well-liked, and I don’t feel I deserve this sort of treatment from anyone, white or of color.

Several days after this experience, I was at Joanne’s in Northway Mall and they recommended a local seamstress, formerly a manager at David’s Bridal, who does wedding gowns and custom clothing. I called her and described what I needed done, she asked me to make and appointment to come to her shop to show her. We met. She did the work beautifully for $20.00!!! Less than 1/5th of what that nasty little man wanted to charge. I guess his customers from Elsmere and Delmar have more money than dignity or brains.”

After all, immigrants can come here and take advantage of the “market economy,” but oddly they’re not subject to our laws, or our customs, or our ethics. But they have rights.

We’re not singling out Delmar Custom Tailor & Cleaners but this guy is a good example of what we are talking about when we talk of retroracism and abuse of the white foundation of this country. Rather than be tolerant and tactful, this immigrant chose to be arrogant, abusive, and disrespectful. He seems to have forgotten that in his own native country he probably wouldn’t be earning in a month what he charges now to shorten a pair of trousers! But is the little troll grateful? No! He, like so many others, leaves the squalor and corruption of their native countries to take advantage of the let-me-kiss-your-colored-ass-please juicebags of this country. Why is it we’re such pushovers?

All of the great nations, empires of history, were very careful to secure their borders and to take care of their own.Why is it this country lets the homeland spiral into depravity and opens its borders to let every parasite imaginable cross over and infest this country? Forget about the crapola we’re being fed by the ass-kissing liberals that this country was founded on the contributions of immigrants; they were an immigrant of a vastly different kind, they had values, morals, and a work ethic. Anyone who has had great grandparents who come to the United States LEGALLY can attest to that fact. We now have immigrants who make a joke of our federal laws and cities and states that aid and abet their criminality.

Yes! They do!

We are all born into a native culture; some people have moral and civil values, others do not. Some people are born into a loving, caring and nurturing family others are born into a vicious cycle of abuse. Some people are poor but dignified others are trash. We have white trash, Black trash, Oriental trash, and just trash trash. You can decide for yourselves where you fit in. One thing is certain, though: each and every one of us has the freedom and the liberty to be better and not simply be lazy and go with the flow. It just happens that some people are born into ignorance and prefer to stay ignorant; same applies to trash.

So when we look at what’s going on in this country, it’s all about choices: What you choose to do and what you choose to be. Simple.

I have the freedom and the liberty to choose and I choose not to accept the behavior…

Here’s an example: Today, we made a rare trip to Walmart in Glenmont. There was quite a variety of types there ranging from trashy to middle-class, and you could see right then and there that you are born into a culture, you are raised in that culture and you’re likely to stay in that culture and raise your children in that culture. I thought about this when I passed a very loud group of 4 persons, including two small children. Yelling, banging, the boom box was blasting. One couldn’t help thinking “stereotypes.” There is a reason for stereotypes and the reason is that the stereotypes perpetuate the stereotype. Does that make us, the others, evil or unjust for admitting that they created the stereotype, and we are just acknowledging it. It wasn’t us that created the behavior that pegs them for what they are, and puts them in the box labeled “whatever.” So why get all in a huff when someone honestly admits that they’re what they are: stereotypical of their group. Why? Because they like it there; they have no desire to leave their place in the world. Does that make them bad people? Not at all. But I don’t need them setting the conditions for how I live, or for invading my space with their behavior. I have the freedom and the liberty to choose and I choose not to accept the behavior; I also choose to admit that it exists and not to live in denial.

We’re just plain sick and tired to the point of puking when we have to listen to all the talk of “racism” even by our racist president, Mr Obama, who is quick to play the race card when it comes to a white-on-black issue but is eerily silent when it comes to the execution-style shootings of our law enforcement people. We’d like to start a counter-movement, “White lives count!”

They use any excuse to destroy and to use racism as an excuse for criminality!

Anyone who watches the antics of the carjackers and the other urban criminals can form their own opinions. There was a video of a car-chase and then an on-foot pursuit of a [black] perp the other day just in the wake of the execution-style shooting of a law-enforcement officer, in the wake of the shooting of a state trooper, in the wake of the on-air execution of two talk-show hosts, in the wake of the shooting of two police officers, and the list goes on. Does anyone dare mention the color of the perps? The media doesn’t have the balls to say “black” but the majority–we say the majority because in a couple of the instances no arrest has been made and we haven’t seen the pix of the perps (the media tends to avoid mentioning color or, in some instances, even showing a picture of the perpetrator(s)–were, Guess what? blacks. Not Hispanic, not Chinese, not Asian, not Native American, not Irish; read our lips BLACK! And we don’t mean African black! We mean American Blacks; the product of American Black culture. The same ones that will use any excuse to destroy and to use racism as an excuse for criminality! How long do you think the self-deception, the denial, the blindness of mainstream America is going to go on before it reaches the flash point and a reaction occurs?

Racism? The American people are kept in the darkest of dark closets when it comes to the truth about racism, slavery. Anyone with any knowledge of American history cannot avoid the example of the indentured servant, or non-landed whites, or women in this country. Much of that discrimination didn’t change until the 20th century!

White people can’t save Black people from themselves!

At some point in time people have to choose to stop being victims and stop riding the same old hackneyed slogans to death. White people can’t save Black people from themselves. Black people have to take charge and clean up their own acts, clean up their own neighborhoods, create new, more positive stereotypes of themselves. It’s about time someone admitted that.

And has anyone done the history of the Italian, Irish, even Catholic Americans in this country. Did you know that plenty of Italians and Irish were LYNCHED because they were Italians or Irish! Look it up, you ignorant liberal asskissers. In the West, until the 20th Century, Chinese and Sikhs, for example, were discriminated against and their property confiscated violently. What about the Japanese and German concentration camps IN THIS COUNTRY? Anyone talk about racism in those contexts? Why not?

And so we have people up in arms about closing our borders to illegal penetrations. This country is sick, sick, sick and it is refusing treatment. If you talk about closing our borders and enforcing our laws, you’re un-American! If you talk about deporting illegals you’re un-American! If you say fix the problems in the United States, wash the shit off your own porch before you screw up other countries and cultures, you’re un-American.

The number of jurisdictions with sanctuary policies for illegal aliens have risen to an estimated 340 from 276 in July, according to an updated CIS study. The refusal of local authorities to give custody of deportable criminal aliens to ICE has resulted in the release of around 1,000 criminal aliens per month. Tell them to go the hell home and save their countries rather than abandoning them!

We have a question we’d like you to think about: Say you go to Canada for the weekend. You get into Canada using your American passport, driving a vehicle legally registered in New York, you don’t speak with an accent. But when you want to get back into the United States from Canada, using your American passport, driving a vehicle legally registered in New York, and you haven’t picked up an accent in Canada, you a put thru a third degree? It’s almost like you’re being punished for going to Canada and then trying to get back into the United States? Makes you wonder how so many Mexicans get into the USA over the border, doesn’t it?

So doesn’t it come across like a little hypocritical, a lot really stupid when the United States is telling Hungary and other European nations to open up their borders and let the Syrian refugees flow in? Yeah! Misery likes company and if the US has it’s Mexicans why shouldn’t Europe have its Syrians? Our advice: Tell them to go the hell home and take responsibility for saving their countries rather than abandoning them, and playing the rest of the world for suckers!

The United States government is doing more spying on YOU than on ISIS!

We even hear people saying that they don’t travel anymore because of the hassle they get at the airports by goons in uniform. Is there a plan in the works here? If regular people are abused enough they will avoid moving around too much. If they’re abused by mindless monkeys, they feel violated and who wants to go through that? Do you see a plan here?

All of you blind bastards reading this diatribe had better open your eyes and recognize the fact that we don’t deport illegal aliens because they are VOTES for those in power. We don’t call a criminal black because they are VOTES for those in power. (We also don’t call them black because they behave like animals and everyone is scared shitless of what they might do. You asked for it America! You sure as hell got what you asked for!) And we don’t spend more time fixing the United States because the corporations see untapped wealth in the Middle East and elsewhere and the only way they can get to it is by using the United States Government = their paid lackeys to do it for them. Look, if the corporations are going to profit by the military actions the United States government gets bogged down in, and United States military personnel come back dead, maimed, or otherwise physically or mentally damaged, it’s the corporations that should pay for the damage, not the American people. Our military is not protecting our freedoms and liberties, people, WAKE UP! In fact, our own government is erasing our freedoms and liberties on a day-to-day basis and you don’t even realize it. The United States government is doing more spying on YOU than on ISIS!

Don’t you feel manipulated? Don’t you feel like it’s time to reclaim your brain, your mind, your soul?

We’d rather not get started on the media and prime time programming, but we have to say something about it just to be fairly complete. You are told what to think. You are told who to listen to. You are told what to eat and drink. You are told you are damaged goods and need this or that drug. You are told by your boss you can’t say “fuck” in the workplace but turn on the television or open a magazine like “Men’s Health” and you can hear and read the word or worse almost regularly. You’re a dog or a whore if you jump into bed with a different gal or guy every day but it seems afternoon soaps tell you it’s OK. Two men kissing and boinking are OK on the soaps, too. Don’t you feel manipulated? Don’t you feel like it’s time to reclaim your brain, your mind, your soul? The media are stealing your mind and your soul and you just let it happen! If someone did that with your wallet or your purse, what would you do to reclaim just a couple of bucks or credit cards? But you let media corporations steal something much more valuable and irreplaceable: your soul and your children’s souls, and you do nothing!

Shame on you, America! You’ve become homeless and have prostituted your values.

And YES! it would be a terrible stereotype if it weren’t TRUE and FACTUAL!

New York State Police: Joining Police-State Tactics, Eroding Public Trust; Biased Law-Enforcement!

What is the New York State Police in Greene/Columbia County Trying to Prove? That they’re as politically and socially biased as the worst of municipal law enforcement?

Well, if that’s what they’re out to prove, they’re well on their way to reaching their ill-conceived goals!

Think twice when you see these lights! They may not be there to “serve and to protect” but may be there simply to make a political statement!

Supporting local business and economy, on the way to Rhinebeck, to participate in a Restaurant Week meal with 3 other couples at Terrapin, we curiously noted the unusual number of NYS police vehicles making stops of motorists. We casually remarked: “They must have a quota to fill.” And drove on confident that we, as law-abiding, good citizens would not have to go through such an ordeal. A reader writes to us on the evening of Friday, March 13, 2014, after returning from a harmless social event with professional co-workers:

“How  wrong we were! Returning to Albany county at about 10:45, approaching the Rip van Winkel bridge, we noticed a sandwich board displayed on the approach to the bridge: “Safety Restraint Check Ahead”, and figured it was just another seat-belt check. We remarked how stupid such a thing is to waste State Police personnel and resources checking seat belts at such a time. It soon became clear what was going on. It was a  total lie. But why do the State Police have to resort to such stupid, low, tactics against a majority of law-abiding, social citizens, when there’s so much obvious, conspicuous crime going on? Answer: Easy Pickin’s.
“Why go after criminal minorities in the wake of Fergusen and in the climate of Black history month when there are easy prey in the form of middle class white Americans out there who won’t riot and can’t claim “profiling” when they’re stopped and harassed. The U.S. Attorney General, a Black appointee under a Black president, issues a scathing critical report against the law enforcement officers of Fergusen after the shooting of an “unarmed black man” – and then two white cops are shot from ambush while monitoring [ongoing] protests in Ferugusen, and the U.S. Attorney General, Black hypocrite that he is, denounces the shootings. Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General, the so-called chief law-enforcement officer in the USA, is a reverse racist! On the one hand he throws his own law-enforcement officers under the bus and then cries “Foul” when his own people engage in racist shootings of white police officers! How low have we become, America?!? How hypocritical have we become, America?!? It it had been a white person shooting, it would have been called “Racist!!!” If it had been an Arab, it would have been called, “Terrorist!!!” But it was a shooting of white police officers monitoring BLACK demonstrators…What do we call that? You tell us!!!
Stopped,asked whether the driver had had anything to drink that evening. Driver responds 1 beer. Pull over to the side there, I want to talk to you some more.
“Where are you coming from?  Where are you going?” Directing his attention to the passenger: “What have YOU had to drink?” Well the stupid, ignorant trooper had no idea what he was asking or whom he was asking and the  passenger simply responded: “Why are you asking me that? I’m not driving. Your question is totally irrelevant. What’s your problem? [Editor’s Note:  According to the personal communication because the situation was so bizarre, the passenger has started his voice recorder going on by this time!]”
As if to regain his composure and self-respect the trooper asks the driver to get out of the car and asks him to do all sorts of stupid things. Why stupid? Because the man was visibly 200% sober, no indication of impairment!!! This was clearly an instance of intimidation, harassment. Asked for the driver’s licence, which was produced and the trooper puts the licence in his back pocket! And then he continues to harass the driver. No radio check. No registration check. No insurance check! The trooper puts the licence in his back pocket! Is this harassment or real law enforcement? Passive intimidation? How many of our neighbors, fellow citizens have experienced this sort of police-state conduct?”

Well, dear readers, there is no one out there who is more law-enforcement friendly, more supportive of our law-enforcement officers, and no one more supportive of law, liberty and justice than we are. But this is clearly an abuse of police authority. We fully support law enforcement in their efforts to serve and protect our communities by being present, observing, assisting, but NOT BY HARASSING and INTIMIDATING law-abiding, White citizens going about their routine social activities. And when law-enforcement does so under false pretenses and in obvious non-compliance with established protocols we have to speak out and demand an explanation.

We condemn such arbitrary, indifferent, discriminatory conduct on the part of our publicly funded law enforcement personnel. It’s the socially and politically responsible, hard-working, responsible and ethical minority who pays for law enforcement and who supports local businesses and institutions. It seems it’s exactly these very same individuals who are targeted by the very law enforcement and government they support!

Dishonored, Disappointments
Until Further Notice

The check-point at the Rip van Winkel bridge on March 13, 2015, at about 10:45 was a travesty of police power. It was totally inappropriate and abusive. It undermined our faith and trust, our confidence in our law enforcement personnel. It defeated any claimed law enforcement positive effects.

We made inquiries and it seems the New York State Police were out in force and stopping people even during the afternoon. The pretense: St Pat’s day! So the New York State Police are out stopping people on March 13th in preparation for March 17th. If only they were that well-prepared to enforce day-to-day laws on our road we’d all feel a lot safer. Now doesn’t that get your Irish up? Happy St Pat’s day…and watch out for the party-poopers!

Shame on you! New York State Police! Your personnel on the Rip Van Winkel bridge tonite eroded any support and confidence we may have had in you! May be this country is moving in the direction of the totalitarian police state we’ve been warning against over the past couple of years. Beware, sheeple, your silence will be your undoing!

We, the People, are guaranteed control under the Constitution. It’s time we took responsibility for what’s going on in this community, this country and it’s time we take control. We’re not the criminals and we should not be made to feel we are. We know who the criminals are and when our law enforcement and government start to go astray, it’s time to start doing what the Blacks have been and still are doing: taking control! Get with the Constitution, people. Stop this downward spiral of depravity NOW!

Ravena Clerk Discloses Protected Information: Aids Identity Theft

The village of Ravena has had so much to hide for so long that it loses track of what it should hide and what it should make public. Nancy Warner and her minions do a pretty good job of violating the law when it comes to responding to demands for disclosure under the New York State Freedom of Information Law, especially when the request has to do with some of their pet projects like the Ravena Health and Fitness Center or their dealings with local attorneys like Michael Biscone. We thought the cloak and dagger games were over when William “Moose” Misuraca booted John Bruno out of the mayor’s office. But it seems it’s business as usual in Ravena village hall.

RAVENA CLERK’S OFFICE DISCLOSES PROTECTED PERSONAL INFORMATION

Hasn’t Anyone in the Village of Ravena Clerk’s Office Heard of the
1974 Privacy Act or of H.I.P.A., or Any of the Other Laws Protecting Privacy?

Ravena village “trustee” Nancy Warner and her minions Annette Demitraszek (Clerk-Treasurer) and Kristine Biernacki do their very best to keep things from the public, even when a lawful demand is made under the NYS F.O.I.L., but when they try to hide everything, they ultimately trip themselves up. This time they really did a great job of making fools of themselves and they shat right where they eat!

A local resident has turned papers over to us that s/he received in response to a demand for disclosure under the NYS Freedom of Information Law. The F.O.I.L. demanded documents relating to village of Ravena employees, their salaries, benefits, etc. The village of Ravena responded — very unusual indeed — by providing a number of printouts for village employees. The printouts were improperly redacted — normally protected information like social security account numbers, home addresses, etc. are removed from the documents — but not in this case.

The documents we have received show everything, clearly legible, including Employee No., Name, Address, Soc-Sec-No., Phone No., Department, Retirement No., and much more. Imagine this scenario: A criminal makes a F.O.I.L. request to the village of Ravena clerk’s office,  Nancy Warner and her puppets Annette Demitraszek (Clerk-Treasurer) and Kristine Biernacki process the request and turn over to the possible identity thief all the information s/he could possible dream of getting. Here’s just a sample of what we can see in the documents provided by the village of Ravena clerk’s office (unlike the village of Ravena clerks, we have reproduced only the last four digits of the individual’s SSAN and Retirement No. — some of them have been scrambled but the owners will still be able to recognize them):

Residents and taxpayers/property owners in the village of Ravena should also be aware that Demitrazek and Biernacki are Bruno appointees! Yes! They were appointed by former mayor John Bruno and his hatchet-faced sidekick Nancy Warner. Make no mistake about it, when Bruno appointed you it wasn’t for your brains! You had to leave your brain at the door and follow orders from Bruno and Warner. What we don’t understand is Why? incoming mayor William Misuraca didn’t show some leadership and replace the whole lot when he took office! Being a wuss just set him up to be embarrassed by the leftovers from the last corrupt administration. Shame on you, Misuraca!

The Privacy Act vs.the Freedom of Information Laws

The Privacy Act of 1974, as amended at 5 U.S.C. 552a, protects records that can be retrieved from a system of records by personal identifiers such as a name, social security number, or other identifying number or symbol. (A system of records is any grouping of information about an individual under the control of a public agency from which information is retrievable by personal identifiers).

An individual is entitled to access to his or her records and to request correction of these records by stating the reasons for such actions with supporting justification showing how the record is untimely, incomplete, inaccurate or irrelevant. The Privacy Act prohibits disclosure of these records without written individual consent unless one of the twelve disclosure exceptions enumerated in the Act applies. These records are held in Privacy Act systems of records. These notices identify the legal authority for collecting and storing the records, individuals about whom records will be collected, what kinds of information will be collected, and how the records will be used (See http://www.socialsecurity.gov/foia/bluebook/toc.htm).

WARNING: If you provide any personal information to the village of Ravena be prepared for the possibility that they’ll share it indiscriminately. These documents and the information they contain are clear proof that the village of Ravena’s clerk office staff are or were incompetent, and it certainly puts Ms Nancy Warner in a very embarrassing position, given her role as dominatrix in the clerk’s office and domineering its staff for so many years!

This unconscionable and gross violation of these individuals’ and likely countless others’ privacy rights, and the potential of exposing them to identity theft, by the inept and incompetent village of Ravena clerk’s office will and should result in any number of claims and lawsuits against the village of Ravena and its employees by these current and past victims of the clerks’ incompetence and ignorance. Clearly those former employees like Vanessa Hoyt who suffered indignities at the hands of the Bruno-Warner machine have yet another cause for action. Our recommendation to the others whose personal information has been unlawfully disclosed: Demand that the inept clerks be terminated! Demand Nancy Warner’s resignation! Notify and file a complaint with the state and federal authorities! File your lawsuits! Anyone else who thinks the village of Ravena has their personal information on file should immediately contact the village of Ravena and demand to know what precautions are being implemented to safeguard your personal information, and demand to know how that information is being used!

Ravena Health and Fitness Center: Year One = Miserable Failure!!!

Village of Ravena Mayor, Village Council Continue to Do Voo-Doo Management: Ravena Health and Fitness Center Deep is in the RED; Cathy Deluca’s the Only One Smiling on Her Way to the Bank!!!

In late 2012, former Mayor of the Village of Ravena, John T. Bruno (defeated), his hatchet woman Nancy Biscone-Warner, and the morons on the former Village of Ravena village council, Nancy Biscone-Warner, Martin Case (defeated), Rocco Persico (defeated), William “Bill” Bailey, in a behind-closed-doors conspiracy with Cathy Deluca, wife of former disgraced Coeymans cop “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca (now the CEO/Exec. Dir. of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs), decided to purchase  used fitness equipment more than $40,000 in taxpayer dollars  from a Ravena insider, Robert “Bob” Fisk (His son is now operating the new Fisk’s Variety garbage shop on Main Street, Ravena, site of the former Teen Center. Josie Biscone-Bruno of Prudential Real Estate, made the deal with the Teen Center on behalf of Fisk. A real insider operation if there ever was one.). The public was not consulted on that purchase. Then in 2013, again behind closed doors Bruno, Warner, and Deluca got together to create the Ravena health and Fitness Center in the space previously occupied by the RCS Community Library, and after a scandalous and disgraceful dog-and-pony act, raising the library’s rent for the space more than $700 a month and under threats of eviction, the library’s new home was final finished by Don Persico (cousin of the then sitting Ravena village council member, Rocco Persico), and in May, 2013, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center had its “open house,” and the appointed insider director, Cathy Deluca, managed to open her big mouth and expose the village of Ravena to a potentially very expensive lawsuit. Later, the gang of five calling itself the Ravena village council, submit incomplete and fraudulent paperwork to get Cathy Deluca a non-competitive civil service classification to be director of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center. Cathy Deluca had no qualifications to be director and, by the way, had already mismanaged at least two previous “health clubs” to ruination and failure, including the very health club run by Bob Fisk and the source of the used fitness equipment purchased with taxpayer money but no public inputs. In the 2013-2014 Village of Ravena Budget, the Gang-of-Five approved more than $105,000 of taxpayer money to fund the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, paying Cathy Deluca more than $30,000 a year plus full benefits.

The Village of Ravena village council under mayor William “Moose” Misuraca and his running mates councilmen Joel Coye and Keith Mahler and two leftovers from Bruno’s scandalous quarter century in office, Nancy Biscone-Warner and William “Bill” Bailey, approved the 2014-2015 Village of Ravena Budget, allocating another more than $105,000 to fund the Ravena Health and Fitness Center and, in that same budget, approved a pay-raise of more than $900 for Cathy Deluca.

Misuraca, Coye, Mahler Ran on a Promise of Financial Responsibility, Accountability, Transparency BUT ….

It now is obvious that only the faces have changed. After a really disappointing kick-off of the Centennial celebrations with an embarassing so-called parade that was preceded by an embarrassing watermain break on the parade route (Cathy Deluca chaired the Centennial Committee that organized the parade), we have been provided with documents secured by a resident under the provisions of the New York State Freedom of Information Law, that clearly show that the Ravena Health and Fitness Center MUST GO!

According to the monthly reports prepared by Cathy Deluca and submitted to the Ravena village council, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center is failing badly and hemorrhaging money…hemorrhaging money right into Cathy Deluca’s pockets. Here are the figures (available to anyone on demand in the Ravena village clerk’s office):

(Editor’s Note:  The figures for May 2014 were not available so in the table above, to be fair, we took the average figures for the previous 11 months and used them for the month of May 2014. This was really very optimistic—and very generous—, considering the drastic decline in membership figures over the period.  Not included in the above figures is $2,040.00 for “Tabata Bootcamp” in March 2014. According to unconfirmed information, an employee of the RHFC is being paid extra to do that class. Although we have attempted to include everything possible in the figures above, the picture is bleak, very bleak.)

Back in July 2013, in our article, “Ravena & Risk – Taking: Is it really the role of municipal government?” we wrote:

“Just to break even, the fitness center would have to attract about 425 – 450 paying members; that means, Ravena and the surrounding area would have to attract at least 425 persons who would be willing to fork over between $250–300 a year to join the fitness center, which pales in comparison to other local chain centers with all the facilities like tanning, certified trainers, fitness programs, ultra – modern equipment, men’s and women’s changing rooms, showers, swimming pools, etc. The Ravena Health and FitnessCenter has none of these but membership is far more expensive than any of the major local clubs. So where are these 425 – 450 members going to come from in Ravena or Coeymans? Answer: They aren’t!”

Now we can write:

 In the First Year of Operation Deluca has Attracted less than 3% of Ravena Residents; Total income for the RHFC doesn’t even add up to Deluca’s salary for the period.

The membership numbers in the above table are a very misleading for the months of May 2013−February 2014 because Ms Deluca did not break down the membership figures into 12-month, 6-month, per-visit, etc. but lumped them all together, giving the false impression that people were actually joining. In March and April 2014, Deluca started breaking down the “membership” figures, and it looks like 1 year memberships for Marchtotaled only 97 members  with only 1 new member in March, and in April 2014 the RHFC had a total of only 103 1-year members. (The 11 new members shown in the table for May is our overly-generous manipulation of the statistics to guestimate a number for May, based on the average for the preceding 11 months. Obviousy, 11 is much to high!)  There were 16 six-month members in March and that figure remained unchanged in April 2014. There are several other “categories” of members that go into Deluca’s misleading totals but the bottom line is that in the first year of operation, memberships are dropping and so are revenues. In the entire first year of operation, the Ravena Health and Fitness center has attracted less than 3% of Ravena residents to join. The numbers don’t lie: Out of about 1930 Ravena residents in the age group eligible for membership (18-65 year olds) Deluca, despite her spending on advertising, has been able to attract only about 100 members (some of whom are not Ravena residents). In percent of eligible residents that’s only 5% or 1 out of every 20 eligible residents, who would likely use a fitness club,. That’s pretty paltry performance.

Do the math: It’s costing Ravena $1,000 a year for each of Cathy Deluca’s members who are paying only about $250 a year in membership dues and purchases at the RHFC. Does anyone see a problem here? Obviously, Mr Mayor “Moose” Misuraca doesn’t . Mr Misuraca: What if at the Ravena Halfway House tavern you had to pay $10.00 for every $2.50 your customers spend? How long would you stay in business?

But instead of spending more time trying to make her RHFC playpen work, she’s grabbing other things, like trying to be chairperson of the Ravena Centennial—and screwing that up, too!

In fact, for the entire year of operation the total deposits made by the Ravena Health and Fitness Center are less than what the village is paying Cathy Deluca to mismanage the faclility! Deluca is pulling more than $30,000 plus full benefits; the RHFC brought less than $29,000.00!!! And that doesn’t include other salaries, equipment, operating expenses. The RHFC doesn’t even pay rent or utilities and it’s still losing more than $75,000 of taxpayer money in the first year!!!

ONE GLARING QUESTION YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASKING YOURSELVES: WHY IS THE RAVENA HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER STILL THERE???

Parents allowing their kids to be victimized in this manner is sending a clear and unmistakable message to our young people: We don’t trust you! We can’t control you! You can’t be trusted! We’ll let law enforcement intimidate and harass you while we have some time for ourselves! We had fun making you but now we need to have some time on our own. Superintendent Allen McCarney is obviously in league and working with or for the Albany County District Attorney, Pudenda David Soares or some other moron in the Albany County DA’s office and local police in planning the search. McCartney is turning into a real company boy now that he’s in the pockets of the teacher-union-owned-and-taxpayer-paid-for RCS CSD board of education.

Of course, in our drug-ridden, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirt ghetto schools the searches are to protect the students from themselves and the many drug dealers in a and around the RCS high-school, and to staunch the epidemic of drug-overdose deaths that have been occurring in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk schools. Of course the searches are not animposition and in fact, the students, teachers and parents welcomed law enforcement efforts to harass and intimidate the students. Must make the Coeymanazis feel real good to give the rest of the world the impression our schools are packed with drug pushers and drug users. Makes the Coeymanazi p.d. really look good now, doesn’t it?

This, dear readers, is another cowardly and scandalous attempt by the Coeymans police department and their Nazi friends to harass and intimidate the local community through the students. How dare they go into our schools with police and dogs and execute searches. Where are you parents, anyway? Do the students have to take matters into their own hands to get justice and fairness and not continue to be treated like inmates instead of young adults?

First it was putting a Coeymans police officer who turned out to be the school harlot after a short time, carousing with a wrestling coach and causing a break-up of the coach and his girlfriend. That same RSO officer ended up copping a DUI. Of course, nobody in the RCS CSD Administration foresaw the potential for the female police officer to give every male student an erection but the wrestling coach got her first, we think. But on school property, in his office. Well, that’s the rumor around the school.

So, what’s the deal McCartney, RCS CSD school board a.k.a. New York State United Teachers board at RCS? Find anything you liked?

In an article printed in the Times Union, “Supreme Court: Drug dog sniff is unconstitutional search” (by Jesse J. Hollan of the Associated Press (AP), Tuesday, March 26, 2013) the author writes:

“The Supreme Court ruled…that police cannot bring drug-sniffing police dogs onto a suspect’s property to look for evidence without first getting a warrant for a search, a decision which may limit how investigators use dogs’ sensitive noses to search out drugs, explosives and other items hidden from human sight, sound and smell.
Justice Antonin Scalia said a person has the Fourth Amendment right to be free from the government’s gaze inside their home and in the area surrounding it, which is called the curtilage.”

Shouldn’t our students and schools enjoy these same constitutional rights? Shouldn’t a warrant be required based on good solid probable cause that a search is necessary? Maybe, but not in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, where the US Constitution has been suspended and is not applicable to residents and citizens in Ravena-Coeymans Selkirk!

If this happend anywhere else, somewhere where the residents aren’t pussy-whipped by local Coeymanazis, all hell would have broken loose. And it has happened elsewhere and all hell did break loose (hence the Supreme Court decision). But not here in RCS! Anyone care to speculate why we bend over and ask for the joy stick?

These bobo-crime stoppers are real heros; they go after cripples, old ladies and kids. Balless wonders that they are! At a cost of more than $1 million a year to Coeymans taxpayers, we think that money should be spent more responsibly. Don’t you? Eliminate the Coeymans Police department and all of the dingbat vampires hiding there!

We also have received reports that Coeymans polic e officer and RCS CSD RSO Danielle Crosier, you know the Coeymanazi who wrecks patrol cars, can’t pick a lane and stay in it, DUI/DWI copette, the one who’s allegedly carrying on with the RCS wresting coach in his office (she’s apparently not getting enough down at the station). Yeah, the same Danielle Crosier who is pulling kids out of the halls and searching them at the school. Here we have the hot-to-trot harlot, the Coeymanazi p.d.’s kitten in uniform, demonstrating firsthand how a police state operates and what it feels like to be publicly humiliated for nothing. She’s also the Coeymanazi p.d.’s example of morality, too. Yes, RCS parents, that’s the word on the street and in the halls of RCS about your fine RSO and your fine Coeymanazi p.d. What do you have to say about that? Want an investigation? An investigation will either get her fired or jailed (depending on who’s she doing and where), will get the wrestling coach fired, or an investigation will clear both. We think an investigation is the way to go. Don’t you?

Bruno and Warner wanted the Ravena-Coeymans Youth and Teen Activity Center to disappear and so they sent the message to property owner Robert “Bob” Fisk that they, Bruno and Warner, didn’t want Fisk, also a member of the Ravena incest club (a Persico on his mother’s side), to renew the lease. Josephine “Josie” Biscone-Bruno of Prudential Real Estate* (Marty Case also moonlights there), who brokered the lease with the founder of the RC Teen Center, played her part beautifully and got her commission, while the whole Bruno mob screwed philanthropist Michael Fisher royally.

But you might want to ask: Where the 100 or so teens have gone, who once filled the Teen Center? You might want to ask Ravena mayor Bruno and his witch-on-a-stick, Nancy Warner, and teacher Marty Case, school psychologist Rocco Persico, and Bill Baily where the kids are and what they’re doing? John T. Bruno apparently plans to die in office. He’s decided to run again for mayor of Ravena in 2014. He’s already made Ravena a wasteland, lies like a rug, when the shit hits the fan his stock response is “I ddn’t know”, and surrounds himself with a bunch of dildos who are Bruno-extensions. Ravena, the town of Coeymans doesn’t need a senile mummy to trip up anything positive in Ravena. Bruno is there because the crooks want him there. He’s there because the behind-the-scenes crooks can steal everything worth stealing in Ravena by going through Bruno’s corrupt village hall. Mayor John Bruno and convicted state senator Joe Bruno have a lot in common; they both like to take control and they’re both frauds.

Bruno’s got a reputation of being a pathological liar and a behind-closed-doors dealmaker. Take the Ravena Health and Fitness Center for an example. The most recent Bruno fiasco is the CSX takeover! Can you imagine the mayor of a village claiming he didn’t know what was happening when CSX started cutting down residents’ trees and invading Ravena neighborhoods? John T. Bruno thinks everyone is as stupid as the village employees he hands out village jobs to, in order to get votes. Let’s hope the next mayor cleans up village hall!

Get the Brunos, Biscones, Persicos, Warners, Delucas out of local government and jump-start progress in the village of Ravena!

Coeymans: They’ve Been Rejected, Rebuked, Rebuffed but Take Revenge on the Community

Voters ousted the majority of the scoundrels on the Coeymans town council (Tom Dolan’s still around but very alone; he’s out next time) and on the New Baltimore town council, while rejecting their cronies. Almost cleaned house. But those left in power for the next two months are taking their revenge before they have to hand over their house keys!

But they’re Mad and Mean, and they’re going to punish you before they leave!

You’d think they’d have some dignity, and accept the voters’ decision. Voters simply didn’t want their kind any more. So do you think they’d accept the message and leave with dignity, or show some good will in their last two months in office. Hell NO! They’re going to do all the damage they can before they handover the keys to town hall. They’re going to punish voters for giving them the boot!

Revenge of the Rejects

The Coeymans dems under the misguidance of loser Tom Dolan ran Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington’s babe, Michelle Maddage, for town clerk. They played Maddage for a circus clown, and she played right along with Dolan, Boehm, and Darlington and danced like their cute little monkey, and ran for a town office for which she had absolutely no qualifications. She lost pitifully! But Maddage was just a tool. You see, Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington had cut a deal that would place his wife, now a secretary in that racist, pandering, incompetent Albany County DA David Soares’ office, in the Coeymans town clerk’s office as a part-time employee. Imaging if the plan had succeeded: If Maddage had by some stroke of misfortune, won and became Coeymans town clerk, she would hire Darlington’s wife in the town clerk’s office. That would put dodo-cop Gregory Darlington in charge of the clerk’s office and in control of any information leaving town hall, because Maddage would be taking orders from Darlington, his wife, and from Tom Boehm and Tom Dolan! Talk about a police state! Talk about turning town government into a family business!!! Voters by the grace of a merciful God put a quick stop to those diabolical plans.

But just because Maddage and the Darlingtons lost the bid to control the Coeymans town clerk’s office. And just because Tom Boehm and Dawn Rogers got booted from their playpens on the Coeymans town council doesn’t mean that they’re finished screwing the citizens of the town of Coeymans. They still have 2 months to do a hell of a lot of damage and they’re mad and mean. They’re going to pull all the stops now that they have nothing to lose. They’re going to punish voters for making the right choices.

Psycho-Cop Ryan Johnson, as inept as he was and continues to be, has botched up so many investigations and probably holds the record for complaints against the Coeymans police department has been promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Coeymans p.d.!

In the town of Coeymans they’ve already started. We all know what friends Boehm and Darlington are, and Dawn Rogers had a special fondness for the Coeymans police department. Craig Apple, Albany County Sheriff saw the writing on the wall and pulled his sockpuppet Kerry Thompson out of the Coeymans p.d. with the cleverly disguised “promotion” of Thompson to “deputy chief deputy.” Thompson then resigned his position with the Coeymans p.d. (Nice move, Craig, get out of harm’s way while you can.) So what do the dregs on the Coeymans town council do? Rather than accept their fate, they promote psycho cop Ryan Johnson, a reject from the Cairo p.d., and such a psycho that they had to get him out-of-the-way in the Coeymans p.d. so they got on a drug task force. Well Johnson, as inept as he was and continues to be, has botched up so many investigations and probably holds the record for complaints against the Coeymans police department has been promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Coeymans p.d.! They promoted Coeymans’ own Psycho-Cop! Thanks Tom Boehm, Tom Dolan, Dawn Rogers!!!

Previous to the so-called “promotion” Psycho-cop Ryan F. Johnson was collecting more than $58,000 in town of Coeymans taxpayer dollars! For what?

That is poor government, escalating spending in this way in times when the majority on the Coeymans town council should be looking for ways to save money and to avoid excess spending. No doubt this is a part of the Boehm, Rogers, Dolan Revenge Plan. Ryan F. Johnson was already cashing in to the tune of more than $58,000 a year from the Coeymans taxpayer pockets!

Even Tom Boehm’s lies couldn’t keep him or Dawn Rogers in office. The two town officials Boehm and Darlington, and Rogers were constantly tripping up and abusing got re-elected, and Boehm and Rogers, two of Darlington’s supporters, are no more. Now where does that leave Darlington? Where does that leave that money-pit of the Coeymans police department? Here’s where: in very dangerous waters. The Coeymans police department is useless, corrupt, and simply a playpen for a bunch of thugs who can’t go anywhere else. They thought they had it made until their friends on the Coeymans town council got the boot. Now the way is clear to break up the party going on in the basement of Coeymans town hall and turn law enforcement over to the profession law enforcement professionals you’re paying for already: The Albany County Sheriff and the New York State Police.  There are better ways to spend the $1,000,000 (one million) that the Coeymans p.d. is costing taxpayers every year!

Have our readers heard about the suspension of two Coeymans police officers for misconduct or criminal activities? We’ve heard it’s been discussed in town council Executive Session but not a peep has been heard in the media. It’s been a very well-kept secret. Do we owe the secrecy to Tom Boehm, Dawn Rogers and Tom Dolan? How about it, Coeymans police-chief-whose-job-is-in-jeopardy Gregory Darlington: Come clean if you can. Who are the officers and what’s the story?

We say: As soon as the new Coeymans town council takes over in January, we say RESCIND Johnson’s promotion. Set the wheels in motion to save Coeymans taxpayers $1,000,000 and eliminate the Coeymans Police Department. Stop the lies they tell to misinform residents that they need the Coeymans p.d.!

In the meantime, keep a close eye on what is going on on the Coeymans town council, and watch Tom Boehm, Dawn Rogers, and Tom Dolan very closely. They’re going to try to push quite a few things through before they leave that you’re going to be saddled with afterwards. Get to the town council meetings and make your wishes known. Coeymans residents must demand a moratorium on any major decisions until the new Coeymans town council takes over. And keep a very close eye on what’s going on with the town of Coeymans 2014 budget! It hasn’t been approved yet. Don’t let them spend any more of your dollars on a police department that’s almost out the door! Coeymans voters have the momentum, now use it to good advantage: Anything Boehm, Dolan, Rogers or Darlington want, SAY NO!

Like the town of Coeymans, the voters in the Town of New Baltimore finally got smart and kicked supervisor Susan O’Rorke out and put in some community-minded people like Nick Dellisanti, Jeff Ruso, Sally van Etten on the board and sent a clear message to the local elitist clubs represented by Janet Angelis (of sign-stealing fame) and Hilary Schrauf (of no fame at all).  That doesn’t mean that Dellisanti, Ruso, and van Etten have a ticket for free lunch; in fact, we’re going to be watching them very, very closely and any indication of deviating from the straight and narrow and we’ll be on them tighter than the skin on a frog’s back.

Brief Recap of the Problem

As we all know, the local newspapers publish the profiles of all the candidates running for office in the issue of the newspaper appearing just prior to Election Day. This year, however, the News Herald and other newspapers that appear in the New Baltimore area refused to publish the Republican, Conservative, Independence party-endorsed candidates Nick Dellisanti, Jeff Russo, Shelly van Etten, Sally Russo and AnnMarie Vadney BUT they did publish a full-page set of profiles for the O’Rorke-5, none-of whom were endorsed by any major party.

On October 18, 2013, in an e-mail sent by Ravena News Herald editor Melanie Lekocevic to candidate AnnMarie Vadney, Lekocevic wrote:”

“I spoke with the editor of the Daily Mail about this. Our New Baltimore reporter, Jessica Mosier, will cover your story. Unfortunately she is away for the weekend and can’t make the Sunday event, but she will contact you next week to do a profile of the candidates. Her story would run in the Daily Mail, the Greene County News and the Ravena News-Herald.”

So, on October 31, 2014, all town of Coeymans candidates and the O’Rorke-5 (O’Rorke, Angelis, Schrauf, Brooks, Jordan) all got coverage in the Ravena News Herald, the Greene County News, and the Daily Mail. Nothing appeared for Dellisanti, Ruso, van Etten, Russo and Vadney. So this blog got involved and started asking questions, particularly of the Johnson Newspaper Corporation and the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers/the Columbia-Green Media Group/the RegisterStar, and e-mailed Lekocevic, and John B. Johnson, chairman of the Johnson Newspaper Corporation (owns the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers), as well as Mark Vinciguierra (formerly director of circulation for the Albany Times Useless), publisher of the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers (Register-Star and Daily Mail, both dailies, as well as the weekly Chatham Courier, Windham Journal, The Mountain Eagle, Ravena News-Herald and Greene County News). We e-mailed John Johnson, Mark Vinciguerra and the other editors and wanted to know Why the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers refused to publish the profiles of the New Baltimore Republican, Conservative and Independence party-endorsed candidates Dellisanti, Ruso, van Etten, Russo and Vadney?

Vinciguerra didn’t bother to respond but his boss did, and what he had to say was tantamount to “Screw you! New Baltimore!”

Here are just a few of John B.  Johnson’s choice expressions to cover his ass over the issue (the full text of Johnson’s comments are published on this blog, just go to the article and select “comments”). John B. Johnson says:

• “Just because we had plans to do 1:1 interviews and then wasn’t able to fulfill those plans doesn’t mean you need to get your panties in a knot.  Sometimes shit happens and life changes.”

Meanwhile, Mark Vinciguerra spent more than 20 hours on this blog on November 4-5, and on November 5, Vinciguerra spent more than 7 hours on this blog. His boss, John B. Johnson, spent more than 2 hours reading this blog on November 4. Apparently they spend more time reading this blog than they do their own newspapers. Can’t imagine why? Could it be that the coverage of local issues on this blog are better than you get in the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers rags? You better believe it!

Silly Us! We actually expected that someone employed with the Johnson Newspaper Corporation would have some integrity and address the problem honestly and ethically. But when the chairman of the Johnson Newspaper Corporation, a prig with a name like John B. Johnson (Sounds like something you’d nickname a penis, doesn’t it?) can’t man up and own up to his moron editors’ and reporters’ mistakes (John B. can’t spell, either! He writes that we have “lost site of” rather than “lost sight of”. And this guy runs a newspaper corporation? Explains a lot, doesn’t it?)

Rather than man up and admit the mistake, Mr John B. Johnson sends out a snotty response and continues to attempt to deceive and misinform by referring to two irrelevant articles having nothing to do with the issue of refusing to publish the profiles of the Republican, Conservative, and Independence party endorsed candidates opposing the New Baltimore O’Rorke 5. In fact, Johny B. seems to be dyslexic and doesn’t seem to have read and understood the e-mail sent by his News Herald editor, Melanie Lekocevic, in which she clearly states that the News Herald reporter Jessica Mosier would interview the Republican, Conservative, Independence party endorsed candidates and that their profiles would appear in the Ravena News Herald, the Greene County News, and the Daily Mail. The one link is to an article in the Green County News covering the Republican Club meet-the-candidate event; the other is an article that appeared in the Greene County News and covers the New Baltimore O’Rorke gang and says nothing at all about the Republican, Conservative, Independence party-endorsed candidates opposing the O’Rorke gang. Johnson seems determined to remain stupid or blind. How many times must we refer to the October 31, 2013, issue of the Ravena Herald or to the Lekocevic e-mail? Mr Johnson, the inbreeding is starting to show!

Any leader with a pair of balls would man up and own up and accept that a mistake was made. This wussy Johnson is squirming, desperately but unsuccessfully trying to lie his way out of a corner he just can’t squirm out of. While it’s true his staff of intellectually challenged misfits make a mockery of journalism, it may well be that the lack of leadership and integrity at the top certainly has something to do with their challenges. How can employees trust or respect a character that can’t take the punches? Answer: They can’t.
