Threats of School Shooting at RCS High School!!!

As of March 29, 2018, we’re still waiting for the RCS District Superintendent Brian Bailey, RCS High School Principal Lisa Partierne, Coeymans Acting Police Chief Daniel Contento, Coeymans Supervisor Phil Crandall and others (see the list below) — anyone with real facts — to comment, provide a public statement, or provide the facts about the incident. No one seems to want to come out and make a statement on this important public safety, school safety issue. Why is that?

[Editor’s Note: The RCS Central School District issued a bland statement on the incident some three days after the incident, boilerplate, of course. The statement may be difficult to find because the main subject in the title is not “student safety” but “Dr Bailey”, narcissist! Read the say-nothing statement, CYA statement at “Message from Dr. Bailey – safe schools” last accessed on March 29, 2018) See our note about SNN at the end of this article.]

The Craziness Just Doesn’t Stop in Ravena-Coeymans!

What is RCS, Coeymans PD waiting for?

On Friday, March 23, 2018, three RCS high school  students were reported to be “joking” about coming into the highschool and shooting it up.

In our article “Drive-by Shooting Arrives in RCS” we were the first to break the story about the botched up investigation of a local drive-by shooting. Coeymans Police allowed the case to go cold; no real investigation, no suspects, no arrests, no prosecution. Criminals went free. Sheriff’s Department and State Police wouldn’t touch it without Coeymans Police requesting assistance. Request was never made.

If you recall, a high-school student at RCS high school was suspendid for wearing a T-shirt depicting a weapon (National Guard), and in another incident the school was locked down and a student arrested for having a rifle in his car trunk. Just recently students at Albany High School were terrorized and evacuated, and several students arrested for a school shooting incident. Why isn’t the RCS Central School District and the Coeymans Police Department reading the writing on the wall.

Three RCS highschool students Chandler L., Dylan A., and Cameran R. were apprehended and taken into the RCS high school principal’s, Lisa Patierne’s  office and suspended for five (5) days for allegedly “joking” about shooting up the high school.Five days should be just about enough time for them to plan their extracurricular criminal activities, obtain weapons and ammunition, and execute their plan for “shooting up” the high school.

RCS Central School District Superintendent Brian Bailey, RCS high school principal, Lisa Patierne, deputy principal, Joe Slichko, and Coeymans Police Department School Resource Officer, Schwebke and his boss, Coeymans Police Chief (acting) Daniel W. Contento have some questions to answer.

With the recent waves of gun violence in our schools, such “joking” must be taken to be real threats and the individuals not only taken into custody but subjected to intense psychological evaluation, surveillance and monitoring, and other controls. BUT NOT IN THE RCS CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT!!!

RCS is not the inner city, it’s not Albany Arbor Hill or Newark, NJ. And with a more than $43 million dollar budget — about 75% of which goes to salaries for personnel —, what are the teachers teaching these kids? What are the parents doing about teaching these kids correct behavior, morality, good judgment? How is it with the media coverage of the slaughter, murder, mayhem, trauma and suffering caused by students to students, to parents, to whole communities in recent shooting, that the RCS community doesn’t take “joking” about such incidents more seriously? Behind every joke is a real situation!

And with the recent scandal revolving around law enforcement misconduct and the international attention it got: Did anyone at any of the schools discuss the reasons why the conduct of two Coeymans Police personnel was reprehensible, scandalous, and outrageous? Is there anything, any room in the RCS curricula for discussions of morality, ethics, etc. or about the systemic social and political failure in the United States today that puts us at the top of the list for school shootings and other social disgraces?

Our guess is that none of this gets any discussion in the RCS Central School District and, furthermore, that most RCS parents don’t bother to discuss such things with their offspring. Judging from the response to the Coeymans Police misconduct on just one site — The Care2 Petition, which received more than 87,000 signatures (more than 10,000 in New York State alone), and the embarrassing attendance at the March 22, 2018, Coeymans Town Board meeting, at which less than 20 people showed up, three of which traveled from as far away as Queensbury to make a public statement at that meeting. That alone shows how uninterested locals are in their community. It’s a stinking shame, an embarrassment! Then you wonder why we live in such a, well, cesspool, with equally shitty elected officials, and pretty third-world services, if any? Pardon our language but there are no other words to accurately describe the situation — and you know it’s true!

We all know that our legal system will hold a host giving a party accountable for damage and injuries caused by a guest leaving the party drunk, and while under the influence, getting involved in an accident.  We say hold the teachers, the administrators, the school board members, the police department school resource officers responsible for injuries and deaths occurring on school property. PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE; the taxpayers are already being sucked dry paying for these parasites and getting nothing in return. PERSONAL LIABILITY will get these dumbasses thinking about taking their responsibilities seriously.

In the RCS Central School District, school officials and law enforcement don’t take such “joking” = “threats” too seriously. After all, the teachters, administrators, and RCS school board members are all too busy padding their pockets, planning their retirements, or budgeting school tax dollars to benefit their cronies. The Coeymans Police are too busy running over raccoons in shopping mall parking lots.

You should have a lot of questions. You should be demanding answers. Our questions are:

  • How are the three students’ parents being handled in this case?
  • Do the parents of these three students have guns, ammunition in their homes? How are they secured? Have they been seized by law enforcement during the investigation or the pending investigation?
  • Were the parents of RCS high school and middle school students informed of this threat?
  • Were students in the RCS Middle School and RCS High School, two schools on the same location, informed of the threats in a professional manner? Were they informed about ways to detect such threats and a procedure to follow? Were they educated as to what to do in such an situation?
  • What actions, other than administrative suspension, were undertaken to investigate these students and the possibility that their “joking” was not real “threats”?
  • The RCS high school and middle school are in the jurisdiction of the Coeymans “Raccoon Killer” Police Department, what actions or plan of action do the Coeymans Police have for such threats?
  • Are these three students under supervision or surveillance?
  • What action did the RCS Central School District Superintendent, , and the RCS Central School Board of Education taken in this case?

There are some really serious questions that have to be answered in cases like this. Contact local officials to get the answers before you hear the sirens and learn about the local school shootings because nothing was done in cases like Chandler L, Dylan A. and Cameran R.

Is the RCS Central School District, the Coeymans Police Department, the Albany County DA P. David Soares waiting for this to happen?

Click HERE to return to the OFFICER IDENTIFIED story.

Note: Superintendent Bailey uses a techy acronym “SNN” in his so-called message. For those of you not privy to Bailey’s cryptic lingo, here’s what SNN is: School News Notifier (SNN) is an opt-in e-news service designed to help keep parents and the community more in touch with what is happening at schools via e-mail and/or text message. With SNN, administrators have the power to send updates and reminders about school activities, information about school closings and delays, and notices and other news. Parents and residents can sign up to receive e-mail messages from any of the schools and/or the district. Subscribers can choose to receive any or all of the alerts listed and can unsubscribe at any time. Subscribers must provide personal information but that information will not be shared with outside organizations. Question: What about the many computer illiterate adults, parents and non-parents, or those who do not own computers in the RCS Central School District. How does the rest of the community find out about what’s going on. That is, when our public servants ignore our requests for information?

Changing the Subject for a Moment…Let’s talk about Nancy Warner.

We figure you must be a bit tired of reading about rogue cop s and animal abuse, so we’re going to change the subject for a moment.

Let’s Talk About Nancy Warner and Irresponsibility and Corruption.

Nancy Warner: Lean and Mean behind the Ravena Dem Machine.
(The hill-town version of angry-old-woman Nancy Pelosi)

When we talk about the failure of local government, we cannot avoid thinking of the Village of Ravena, New York, a nest of political incest if there ever was one.

The recent raccoon incident calls to mind Nancy Warner, a trustee, that is, a member of the Ravena Village council, and her history of idiotic pet programs and wasteful agendas. Warner is a relic from the past, from the “Mummy Mayor” era, and has a reputation for being a veritable Witch-on-a-Stick (we all know where the stick is, too). She likes her little coven of idiots; We all know the saying “In the village of the blind the one-eyed man is mayor.” Well in a village of halfwits, the idiot is wannabe mayor.

The Raccoon PETITION got 1.6 million likes on Facebook! As of this writing (March 26, 2018), the “Justice for raccoon killed by officers from Coeymans Police Department in New York Statepetition on Care2 now has 88,060 signatures of which 10,589 are from New York. The goal was 85,000 but the response was so great we’re looking for 90,000 signatures! Express your outrage and add your signature here. Please help get us to the goal of 90,000 protest voices!!!

One of the Coeymans Police officers driving one of the vehicles involved in the scandalous incident has been identified. Click here.

Ravena Village Trustee Nancy Warner in conference with Ravena Mayor “Mouse” Misuraca.

But let’s get back to the point. The recent raccoon scandal that was perpetrated by two Coeymans police personnel at Ravena’s trashy Faith Plaza, brought to light a number of problems. Of course, the first problem is making sense of how two alleged qualified law enforcement personnel could harass, terrorize and kill (by running it over after some 15 minutes of torturing it) a wild raccoon, and do this in a crowded parking lot to the absolute disgust and horror of dozens of people. The Coeymans police response: ‘They had to use their vehicles to ensure the public’s safety.’ This situation becomes even more bizarre when you think that the scandalous scene was perped not by one idiot in one vehicle, who we then could say was just stupid and have done with it, it was two idiots in two separate vehicles. We’d love to hear the radio exchange between the two morons as they got their perverse rocks off killing the raccoon. That chapter has not yet ended and we’re following it closely.

The trashy Faith Plaza in Ravena. Home of Shop’n Save, CVS, and Dolan’s Choices program. Owned by the “Christian” Aaron Flach family of Ravena.

This all happened because a caller from the Ravena CVS at Faith Plaza noted the raccoon “trying to get into the building.” The conclusion was not that the animal was hungry, curious, but that it had to be “rabid.” A call goes into the Albany County 911 Center, which routes it then to the Coeymans Police and, well, the whole world knows the rest of the story. (For details on how owner of Faith Plaza, Aaron Flach responded, please see the Hudson Valley 360 article, “Petition calls for disciplinary action for raccoon killing,” of March 18, 2018, the updated petition has 83,777 (9,620 in New York) as of March 23, 2018.)

Crandall has been cutting the police budget since day 1 of his taking office

When cornered, Coeymans Town Supervisor, Phil Crandal states that “the call should never have been given to the Coeymans police,” but Mr Crandall doesn’t say to whom the call should have gone. The Coeymans Police Law Enforcement Manual states clearly that animal control calls should go to the Animal Control Officer. The problem is that the Town of Coeymans doesn’t have an Animal Control Officer, and the Manual hasn’t been updated since 1998 (neither have the other chapters in the “Town of Coeymans Police and Village of Ravena Police” Administrative Manual, such as Traffic Operations or Recruitment/Promotion, etc.).Problem is, Crandall has been cutting the police budget since day 1 of his taking office.

The Village of Ravena Abolished its Police Department in 2006

But Ravena does not have a police department, it was abolished in 2006! Here’s the official act abolishing it on January 17, 2006:

Article II:
Abolishment of Police Department
[Adopted 1-17-2006 by L.L. No. 1-2006[1]]
Editor’s Note: This local law also stated that it shall take effect 30 days after its enactment and is subject to permissive referendum. This local law was approved by the majority of the electors voting in the general election held 3-21-2006.
§ 22-6
Department abolished.
The Police Department of the Village of Ravena is hereby abolished.

The reason: to reduce costs involved with the operation of the Ravena Police Department. The result: The Coeymans Police Department took over law enforcement jurisdiction in the territory of the Village of Ravena.

Neither the Village of Ravena nor the Town of Coeymans has an Animal Control Officer

In the meantime, neither the Village of Ravena nor the Town of Coeymans have animal control officers, full-time or part-time. Again, the positions were eliminated for fiscal reasons. Eliminated to save money, that is. But while the Ravena Village Council and the Town of Coeymans are cutting public safety positions to save bucks, the Village of Ravena has no scruples wasting taxpayer dollars to pad the pockets of village “friends.” We’re referring to Nancy Warner’s pet project, the Ravena Fitness Center, for which the village of Ravena shelled out more than $40,000 to village “friend” and insider, Robert “Bob” Fisk — Fisk at the time wasn’t even living in Ravena, he was in Florida! —, for used fitness equipment from his defunct fitness center, previously mismanaged and failed under Guess who? Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca’s partner, Cathy Deluca. Warner promptly handed over the Ravena Fitness Center to none other than fitness-club-failure-expert, Cathy Deluca. In the two years that Deluca ran the Ravena Fitness Center, the Center lost at least $115,000 a year!!! All Ravena taxpayer dollars. Ultimately, the Center failed after a short period of Deluca’s mismanagement. Deluca got paid and Carver Laraway did the village a favor by buying the equipment for pennies on the taxpayer dollar.

Nancy Warner’s Response to Ravena and Coeymans Residents.

We mention the history of the Ravena Fitness Center for two reasons: Nancy Warner’s stupidity and fiscal irresponsibility, and Nancy Warner’s corrupt practices in doing favors for the Ravena Incest Club, friends of the administration. Nancy Warner was also behind the harassment of local youth by the Coeymans Police for hanging around the village gazebo (which has since been removed), and for her involvement with then Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington and Coeymans cop Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca for a number of violations of civil and constitutional protected rights.

And a bit THANK YOU! to Mr LP of Ravena for reminding us that it was at Nancy Warner’s urging that the RCS Community Library was thrown out of the space to make it available for Cathy Deluca’s most recent failure, the Ravena Fitness Center. Not only did Warner urge the Village Board to evict the Community Library, while insiders Persicos were “renovating” the Library’s new digs, Warner actually punished the Community Library for not moving out by raising the Library’s monthly rent!!! Warner raises the Library’s rent and the money comes out of community and children’s programs but that doesn’t matter to someone like Nancy Warner and her pack of flying monkeys! She was sending Darlington, Deluca, and Johnson  of the Coeymans Police Department out to harass the kids on the street, and you think she’d want them to be in a library? That’s not the way she works. Nancy Warner works by screwing the community and taking care of her friends in the Ravena-Coeymans Incest Club! Typical of any fascist regime — and fascist is the most accurate description of Warner’s little nest in Village Hall with it’s figure-head mayor, Mouse Misuraca — Nancy Warner has no use for intelligence or education; after all, a stupid population is easier to control than an intelligent one. How quickly we forget, people!

Nancy Warner sending out her Monkey-Pets in the Darlington-Deluca Coeymans PD to harass local youth. One scandal after the other! Does it ever end?

Nancy Warner’s husband Harold “Hal” Warner, a sitting Village justice, is the man behind the backstabbing of then part-time village justice and full-time Coeymans town justice, Phil Crandall, resulting in Crandall’s forced resignation in disgrace from the elected judgeships. Nancy Warner, at the time, “supervised” her own husband’s court operations.

Ravena Village Justice Hal Warner disgracing the American Flag (Warner is in the foreground).

No story about Nancy Warner would be complete without mentioning her pet rodent, Mayor Bill “Mouse” Misuraca.

The Nancy and Hal Warner are democrats as is Phil Crandall, but given their history, do you wonder that there’s no dialogue and only animosity between The Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans? We tend to think that the two communities, separated only by an immaginary line — they were once a single municipality, Ravena-Coeymans, until divided into the Village of Ravena and the Hamlet of Coeymans — but even so, the Town of Coeymans offices are actually still located in the Village of Ravena, on Russell Avenue! Go figure!!!

Since March 20, 2018, the entire Ravena village board has been packed with Democrats, all under the heavy hand of Nancy Warner; the only Republican on the Ravena village board is Mayor Bill “Mouse” Misuraca, elected by his loyal barroom customers and perhaps a couple of dyed-in-the-wool die-hard Republicans still allowed to live in the Village of Ravena. That probably makes no difference anyway, since Misuraca is totally ineffectual — unless it’s tapping a beer keg or pouring a shot– and Warner ran things anyway, witch that she is.

So, people, what does this mean for the perennial problems plaguing the neighbors Ravena and Coeymans, such as water, sewerage, law enforcement, animal control? Well, the picture ain’t pretty, as you can well imagine. But ask Town Supervisor Phil Crandall and he’ll tell you, “Put that in an email or a letter and get it to me.” That’s where it will die.

With Democraps commandeering both Ravena and Coeymans boards but with the seething and roiling hatred between top elected officials, Warner and Crandall, the residents and taxpayers will continue to be victimized by the self-serving, corrupt and incompetent Village and Town Halls.

The recent raccoon scandal brought the historical scandal to light but this time it came to light on a never-before-experienced scale; this time it’s international.

So Ravena abolishes its police department to save money. Both Ravena and Coeymans abolish animal control to save money. Both law enforcement and animal control are public safety services. But that doesn’t stop Ravena (Warner) or Coeymans (Crandall) from spending on their pet projects!

Ravena, under Warner’s dictatorship, finds the money to fund a Ravena Fitness Center, and to take a load of used fitness equipment off a friend’s — that is, Bob Fisk’s — hands to the tune of more than $40,000. She then hands over a large portion of Ravena Village Hall to her friend Cathy Deluca, and approves a handsome salary for Deluca to manage the facility. Deluca manages the facility over a period of two years right into oblivion, as she had done with two previous fitness clubs she had “managed.” A fine example of local government’s idea of fiscal responsibility, right?

After Nancy Warner’s husband, Hal Warner, forced his fellow justice, Phil Crandall, into disgraced resignation, Crandall, banned forever from running again for judicial office because of his corruption — in which Coeymans board member Tom Dolan and Albnay County legislator, Richard Touchette were recipients — and ethical violations while a judge, now runs for public office, for the office of Coeymans Town Supervisor.

Nancy Warner was/is breast-to-breast, vag-to-vag with Cathy Deluca and Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca

Cathy Deluca
Who does your hair, sistuh?

You’ll need a little background to understand Crandall’s hatred for the Coeymans Police Department and why Crandall did everything possible to drive any competent leadership from the Coeymans Police Department. Crandall’s vendetta has its roots deep in the Warner-Deluca conspiracies. You see, Nancy Warner was/is breast-to-breast, vag-to-vag with Cathy Deluca and Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca, who, in turn were in a love-fest with Gregory “Dumplin” Darlington. When Hal Warner disposed of Crandall, this Warner-Deluca-Darlington love triangle was going full-throttle, until their activities were getting too hot to handle and Darlington and Deluca had to go — either just go, or go to jail. Now that the Delucas and the Darlingtons were sufficiently disgraced and out of the public picture, the scene was set for the Warner-Crandall wars.(It’s also interesting that Carmen Warner was fired from the Albany DA’s office and Leah Darlington left the DA’s office shortly thereafter to take a position as a secretary with Tom Dolan’s Choices program. Was it getting too risky for Albany County DA David Soares to have these liabilities in his office?) Just one more objective was left for Crandall — and he’s very near successful — that is, getting rid of the Coeymans Police Department.

Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca.
Now with the New York State Fire Chiefs Association.

Phil Crandal is a retired prison guard and brings all the charm and refinement of a prison guard personality to Coeymans Town Hall.

But Crandall is no prize when it comes to human relations and fiscal responsibility. First of all, he’s a retired prison guard and brings all the charm and refinement of a prison guard personality to Coeymans Town Hall. Secondly, he’s surrounded himself either with a harem of paid women or a coterie of recycled political losers like Jim Youmans (used car salesman, lost a previous election then ran again under Crandall) and Tom Dolan (director of the Ravena CHOICES program, another political loser). Dolan and Rick Touchette (director of the notorious Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany Cemeteries, and recently “elected” to the Albany County Legislature) were both involved in the corruption and unethical activities that led to Crandall’s disgrace, Touchette and Dolan having received favors from Crandall while he was a judge. Touchette was part of the gang, too.

Crandall likes to hire consultants, clerks and secretaries for the Supervisor’s office

As we noted above, Crandall also likes to cut budgets to pad his office staff. He likes to hire consultants, clerks and secretaries for the Supervisor’s office, but likes to cut police and other budgets to save money (for his projects and friends). When cornered for answers, Crandall’s stock response is “send me an email” or “put that in a letter.”

A Lot of Finger-pointing going on right now in Ravena and Coeymans.

So we now have a scandal built up around the unfortunate fate of a wild raccoon who happened to be in the same space as two rogue Coeymans police idiots. The actors in this comedy of errors happen to be two Coeymans police personnel, admittedly morons, and a raccoon, at the time “presumed” to be a little too curious, a little too friendly, and thus “rabid.” Crandall has his moment pointing the finger at the bad cops and promising an investigation and accountability. Bravo, you stinker! Acting Coeymans Chief of Police, Daniel Contento, asking himself how’d I get into this position and what’s going to happen with my pension? Mayor “Mouse” Misuraca stands back and claims to be an animal lover and not to have any power or authority over the Coeymans Police, uses that simplistic mantra to get his useless ass re-elected. Nancy and Hal Warner are delighting that arch-enemy Phil Crandall has a scandal on his hands — again — and the public’s eye is on him, not on them.

Our burning question is this: Where is the Office of the New York State Comptroller, the Office of the Albany County District Attorney, the Office of the New York State Attorney General, and the FBI while all of this public corruption and abuse of public office is going on in broad daylight and has been going on for decades?

We think it’s high time for a lot of audits, investigations, indictments, prosecutions, and convictions. What do you think?

We’ll be asking similar questions about the New Baltimore town government, the New Baltimore Highway Department, and their ineffective and corrupt operations in an upcoming article. The situation, therefore, doesn’t appear to be isolated only to Ravena and Coeymans; it appears to be contagious, a sort of rabies that infects neighboring local governments like Ravena/Coeymans and New Baltimore. Maybe we can find two morons to run them over, too?

WE REALLY HOPE THE TWO IDIOT COPS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED AND ARE NOT STILL OUT THERE ON OUR STREETS!!!

NEXT STEPS:

RECALL PHIL CRANDALL; REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE
ABOLISH THE COEYMANS POLICE DEPARTMENT
INVESTIGATE NANCY WARNER AND THE RAVENA VILLAGE BOARD
PROSECUTE THE ROGUE COPS
CLEAN UP THE COMMUNITY — CREATE A LOCAL WATCHDOG GROUP
MAKE THE ALBANY COUNTY DA P. DAVID SOARES ACCOUNTABLE

Truth be Told: On the Heels of the Coeymans Town Board Meeting

The Real Hero in this Story!

The Real Truth is that as disgusting, scandalous and disgraceful the raccoon incident is, it has drawn public attention to a more disgraceful and insidious problem in Ravena and Coeymans: the Incompetence of Our Elected Officials and the Apathy of the Local Community.
And we can thank a poor, unfortunate wild animal for drawing the world’s attention to that well-known but concealed fact about our communities!

Coeymans Police Department – General

Village of Ravena
William “Mouse” Misuraca – Mayor
Nancy J. Warner – Trustee

Truth be told, the  Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans would have an Animal Control Officer if the Ravena Village board and the Coeymans Town Board had not eliminated the position from the Police Department’s budget.

Truth be told, the Town of Coeymans Police Department would have the necessary equipment for animal control incidents if the Coeymans Town Board had not cut funding for the operations of the Coeymans Police Department.

This is a catch pole being used to capture a raccoon.

Truth be told, the Town of Coeymans Police Department would have competent law enforcement personnel if the Coeymans Town Board had not cut funding for the Coeymans Police Department. The people of Coeymans wanted their police department but Coeymans elected officials refused to fund it properly.

Truth be told, the Coeymans Chief of Police, whether permanent or acting, has no authority to tell the Coeymans Town Board to provide what the Department needs. So in all fairness, acting Chief Contento must make do with what scraps Crandall and the Town Board throw him. Contento is an experienced law enforcement professional who does his job and doesn’t get into the political intrigues and infighting. He got stuck with the acting chief position because of his seniority, not because he necessarily wanted it.

Truth be told, if the Coeymans Police Department is a bunch of clowns in Kevlar vest packing guns, it’s because the Coeymans Town Board has decided it wants a bunch of clowns as law enforcement. Let’s face the facts: You can’t attract good people when you can’t offer them attractive incentives. You pay peanuts you get monkeys.

And YES, a couple of immature, unthinking, criminal dung beetles in police uniforms and operating police vehicles harassed, abused, and killed a defenseless wild animal in full view of a horrified public in a busy commercial plaza only to bring down international disgust and scandal on two otherwise backwater hill towns in New York State, Coeymans and Ravena, because their elected officials are incompetent, ignorant and out of control!

The bottom line: Bill “Moose” Misuraca, a bartender, is Mayor of the Village of Ravena, and Phil Crandall, a retired prison guard and disgraced village/town justice, is Coeymans Town Supervisor, because the voters — not necessarily the People — of the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans put them there, together with the other clowns on the Village Board and on the Town Board. The ignorant and misguided voters in Ravena and Coeymans are actually to blame for the dunces they have in their Village and Town Halls. Thank you very much! American democratic process at work…just as it was under Stalin, Hitler, and other dictatorships.

We have to laugh every time a Village or Town board meeting opens with the American secular prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, where, unlike any other civilized country in the world, a bunch of people gather to mouth words like “liberty and justice for all,” knowing full well it’s all a bare-faced lie. And we know it! Ask any honest resident like Daniel Boomer.

Truth be told, many of the statements made by Mr. Phillip Crandall, Town of Coeymans Supervisor, in his public statement made at the Coeymans Town Board public meeting, were a dog and pony act. In fact, his statement made at the public meeting and his statement published on the Town of Coeymans website are not the same!

One statement made by Crandall, in particular, is grossly incorrect: Crandall says:

“There is conflicting and contradictory information about how to respond to wildlife suspected of rabies.”

That is totally not true, and intentionally misleading! There is abundant information available on such sites as the New York State Department of Health, The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), the Centers for Disease Control, and many others. (Click on those links to see the sites.) The information provides coordinated and clear scientific, medical, animal control information accepted as state-of-the-art, and is available to the public — even to Mr. Crandall and the Coeymans Town Board.

Before we launch into the main body of this article, we all should be aware of several important points:

Whatever the Coeymans Police did was the responsibility of the officers involved, and this particular incident should not taint the whole Department. Credit where credit is due and blame where blame is due.

“When Sue McDonough watched the viral video of Coeymans police killing a rabid raccoon last Monday by chasing it down and running over it over with their vehicles, she said she knew the officers were in over their heads — and that there was a better solution.” [Source: Time Union, “Raccoon video prompts call for statewide animal control reform,” March 19, 2018) (Ed. Note: McDonough is a retired State Police Investigator (Troop G) and past president of the State Humane Association.)

Blame: The police personnel involved in the incident, no matter what the “test results” show, had no way of knowing that the raccoon was or was not infected with rabies. Raccoons are incredibly intelligent and very curious. Raccons also get hungry. The raccoon’s behavior, though unusual, was not evidence that the animal was rabid. The police used inappropriate judgment for their inappropriate conduct.

Blame: The police personnel involved in the incident acted like rabid teenagers rather than responsible public servants. They did not use good judgment nor did they employ the least offensive methods to get the job done. Their conduct was disappointing and indicative of characters and mental processes that should not be in law enforcement. Their actions show that they do not have the intelligence or the good judgment to make snap decisions required of competent law enforcement personnel. They must go and be banned from law enforcement. The officers involved must be held accountable under the law just like the rest of us.

Blame: The argument that discharging a fire arm at Faith Plaza is would be unsafe, to be very honest, bullshit. Law enforcement personnel authorized to carry weapons are expertly trained — or they should be — in the use of those weapons and where to point them with expectable results. Law enforcement personnel are expertly trained — or they should be — in management of a crime or incident scene and crowd control. First of all, the police have the authority and power to cordon off the entire area, even to evacuate the area, if necessary. They could have ordered all civilians into the buildings until the animal was under control and contained. Once these and other simple management operations were effected, the animal could have been mercifully, humanely and ethically euthanized by gunshot or other method with dignity and in privacy. Instead, the police personnel involved acted like so many lunatics. They must be held accountable for their poor judgment and their irresponsible behavior; they must go and be banned from law enforcement. The officers involved must be held accountable under the law just like the rest of us.

Blame: Several residents made the very true comment at the Coeymans town board meeting that if anyone other than police had done what the Coeymans police had done, they would have been arrested, arraigned and jailed. Their faces and identification would be plastered all over the media and on public access police blotters. Residents raised the very valid question of Why? the names of the police personnel involved in the incident have not been published and have been kept under wraps? Why are police personnel being given consideration that none of the rest of the community would get? Why are the police getting special treatment in a situation where any of us would be immediately shamed and punished? The names and status of the police personnel involved in the incident at Faith Plaza must be published and made accessible to the public. They are public figures and public servants; the public has a right to know who they are. This, my friends, is a matter of public safety!

Big Time Dem Machine Man. Too cozy?
P. David Soares, Albany Co. DA

Blame: The Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares, has been in hiding with regard to this incident. Why hasn’t the Albany County District Attorney come forward with a statement, a report on this incident. Not many citizens are aware of the fact that the DA is the chief law enforcement officer in the county; the police are his responsibility. In fact, Soares, as DA, picks and chooses cases to prosecute, and as a political dog, he’s going to pick and choose the cases that will make him look good with the public and with the police unions. Like so many incidents involving police and law enforcement, this one is in Soares’, court and he’d better play it right. We demand that Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares come forward with a statement on the incident. NOW!

The fish rots from the head down. The leaders are accountable first.

Blame: As we have published in our other articles, the fish rots from the head down. If Coeymans and Ravena don’t have an Animal Control Officer, it’s because the Village and Town boards eliminated the position and the funding for an Animal Control Officer. If the Coeymans Police Department does not have equipment for humane, merciful, and ethical conduct of animal control incidents, it’s because the Ravena Village and the Coeymans Town boards have not allocated funding for such equipment. If the Coeymans Police Department is populated by retarded clowns rather than well-trained, intelligent law enforcement personnel, it’s because the Ravena Village and the Coeymans Town boards have not provided funding for professionals or have hired clowns at professional rates.

Village of Ravena Bartender Mayor Misuraca

Blame: If Ravena Mayor Bill “Moose” Misuraca and Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall don’t talk and don’t communicate, and if their board members have bad relations, then it’s time for new leadership, not voting in known incompetents and expecting competent government. If residents don’t attend Village and Town public meetings, then local residents are accomplices to whatever happens in the Village and Town. If you don’t participate in your local government you share the blame and are to blame for the embarrassment and scandal, the lousy reputation your community has.

Disgraced Judge/Town Supervisor Phil Crandall

Blame: If the Law Enforcement Manual used by the Coeymans Police Department is 20 years old and hasn’t been revised, updated, rewritten, replaced in 20 years, and no one notices that fact, the only conclusion to be drawn is that no one cares to follow the provisions of the manual. Our only conclusion is that the Coeymans chiefs of police and their second-in-command, as well as the rest of the freak show are not using the procedures; if they were being used, someone would certainly notice that they are out of date and do not reflect the current situation at all. This is clear negligence and incompetence. We put the blame on Coeymans law enforcement personnel, especially the Coeymans chiefs of police, and mainly on the Town Supervisor and the Town Board for not funding the Department to meet its needs.

Shame on You! Residents of the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans!

Blame: Residents of the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans who sit home on their fat asses on election day and don’t vote!!! The voters, most of them customers of Mayor Misuraca’s gin mill and bar, and most of them rabid democrats who vote the party not the issues, are to blame. Low voter turnout is the rule not the exception in the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans!

The bottom line: Most, if not all, of the blame for this and other scandalous incidents and the poor quality of life in the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans must be on residents!!! Admit it, you, the community earned the lousy reputation and the shame you experience on a more than regular basis. Yet you, the communities of Ravena and Coeymans, continue to shoot yourselves in the foot by electing clowns to be your village mayor, your town supervisor, your village and town board members.

SHAME ON YOU RAVENA AND COEYMANS RESIDENTS

More on the Coeymans Police Department. Our Recent Investigations.

Ravena Village Elections

A note from the Editor:
Ravena is irrelevant, meaningless, predictable

No. We didn’t publish a word on the Ravena village elections. Why? Because Ravena is irrelevant, meaningless, predictable. We are wasting these few words on a corrupt and dying village, which, if it sunk into the Hudson River this afternoon, would hardly be missed, unless it were because the environment suddenly improved. We felt we had an obligation to those readers who asked Why? we were not following the election campaigns and the elections. Our answer: Ravena simply wasn’t worth our time. But Thank you! for asking. (Besides, the Ravena elections were tainted by the Coeymans police incident. See the Times Union article, Ravena’s rabid raccoon haunts village election” (TU, Tuesday, March 20, 2018).)

The Coeymans Police Department is a Disgrace and Must be Eliminated

Our recent investigations into the operations of the Coeymans Police Department under Phillip Crandall and his cronies on the Coeymans Town Board, as well as the operations of the Town of Coeymans, leave no other conclusion than that both are so incompetently run and the total lack of leadership in both has led once again to a widely published scandal involving the Town of Coeymans, the Coeymans Police Department, and the Village of Ravena.

ex-Chief (disgraced)
G. “Dumplin” Darlington

Before Chief Patrick McKenna took over the Coeymans Police Department under then Coeymans Town Supervisor Steven Flach, we campaigned to eliminate the Coeymans Police Department. Our reasons were conspicuously clear: The Coeymans Police Deparment under then chief Gregory “Dumpy-Duplin” Darlington and Gerry “Dirty Hands” Deluca and their lackeys was a boys club. There were so many violations of protected constitutional rights and civil rights that we had to pick and choose what we published. Darlington, but especially Deluca and his partner Cathy Deluca, padded their pockets generously, while taking advantage of taxpayers and shady activities for years. Cathy Deluca was incompetent and inept but the Ravena inner circle (led by Ravena village trustee Nancy Warner) handed her the now defunct Ravena Fitness Center, which she promptly ran down the sewers with a record 2 years. Cathy Deluca got her money and the taxpayers of Ravena got their screwing. Darlington’s wife, Leah Darlington, was deeply entrenched in the Democratic machine in Albany, in Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares’ office, as was Ravena village justice Hal Warner’s daughter, Carmen,M. Warner (see our article, “The Warners: A Family Tradition of Misconduct“) until she was fired for unprofessional behavior (posting indecent pictures of herself on Facebook). Leah Darlington found a new home with Tom “Dudley Dumbass” Mumbles Dolan at the Ravena Choices office, and local schyster Michael Biscone hired Carmen, another plastic vulva in his collection of plastic females.

Gerry “Dirty Hands” Deluca, former Coeymans cop.

Ultimately, as the word on the street goes, Darlington and Deluca had to retire or face prosecution. Darlington ended up as a part-time bus driver for the RCS Central School District and part-timed as a doorman at Babcock Funeral Home in Ravena. Deluca weaseled his way into an office at the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs. Seems like the RCS Central School District and Babcock Funeral Home don’t care much who they expose the district’s children or our dead to. The New York State Association of Fire Chiefs is nothing more than a lobby organization, more crooked and corrupt than community oriented, so Deluca found a nice nest of like birds. Cathy Deluca has pretty much disappeared from the public eye, and so the scenery is that much better in the Ravena-Coeymans area.

When Patrick McKenna was brought on board as Coeymans’ chief of police we pointed out his baggage and let him know that we were watching. McKenna proved to be a great leader and made numerous improvements both in the operation of the Coeymans Police Department and in the human resources situation. Coeymans is no place to show leadership; you have to be a rodent to succeed in Coeymans or Ravena. Now that Darlington and Deluca were out of the picture, a real professional was going to make a difference, and McKenna did. He was a professional. He was intelligent. He really cared for the community and showed it.

Disgraced Judge…
Town Supervisor Phil Crandall

When disgraced village justice Phillip Crandall crawled back out of the gutter into the public’s eye and ran for Coeymans Town Supervisor — after he was forbidden to run for judicial office as part of his plea bargain — the scene changed. Crandall wanted control of the Coeymans Police Department and, when he couldn’t get it, he tried every dirty trick in the book to get rid of McKenna.

You will recall that about four years ago, when the question of elimination of the Coeymans PD was hot, the people of Coeymans came out in force and loudly proclaimed that they wanted to keep their police department. Supervisor Flach got rid of Darlington and Deluca, and hired McKenna, a veteran Albany police detective. The people of Coeymans got to keep their police department and got a law enforcement professional to run it. Things started to look real good and the whole scene improved.

To give you an idea of how things improved, during the Darlington-Deluca reign of terror, we were publishing several articles a week on abuses, corruption, violations of rights of local Ravena and Coeymans residents. In the 4 years of McKenna, we published perhaps 2 or 3 articles reporting problems, but we published several applauding McKenna’s performance as chief.

With disgraced former justice Phil Crandall’s election along with several other bullies, like used car salesman Jim Youmans, to the Coeymans town board, things deteriorated. Crandall redirected police department funding, literally stole budgetary savings made by McKenna and reused them elsewhere in Crandall’s little group of cronies and pets. McKenna sometimes had to resort to using his own money to purchase needed supplies. Enough was enough.

Once McKenna resigned, the Coeymans Police Department started to spiral out of control. Here’s how.

In December 2017, we were contacted by a local resident, who had been stopped by Amanda L. Mueller, daughter of the Mueller who owns Mueller Automotive, in Ravena. Mueller Automotive does all of the automotive work for the Coeymans Police Department and much of the automotive work for the Town of Coeymans. That raised red flags immediately. Conflict of interest.

But that wasn’t all. You see, Amanda Mueller was a trainee in the Coeymans Police Department. She had stopped a resident for a non-working headlight, and accused him of having his high beams on. Well the resident, a professional, attempted to explain to Mueller that he did not have his high beams on; they were his fog lights. Mueller told him that she was going to let him off with a warning but because he had an “attitude”, she was going to give him a ticket. We reported on the incident in detail in our article, “”. (Please click the link to read the article “Coeymans Police Turning Into Coeymans Gestapo Again?“.)

We asked the resident to provide the documents he received from Mueller. We examined the documents, a Simplified Traffic Ticket and a Supporting Deposition, and found numerous errors in both. Mueller couldn’t even get the man’s date of birth right, and that’s a crucial identifier on a ticket. Furthermore, she got the Vehicle and Traffic Law section wrong. Mueller entered a non-working brakes section, a misdemeanor, instead of a non-working headlight, a minor violation!!! And there were several other mistakes in this relatively simple document. (We advised the resident and the Ravena court dismissed ticket rather than try the case.)

Sandy_poseable sex_doll

Hi! My name’s Sandy. Welcome to Biscone Law Firm.I’m plastic and latex.

At the Coeymans Town Board meeting of June 22, 2017, that approved sponsoring Mueller to attend the Zone 5 Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy, Supervisor Crandall noted, “Supervisor Crandall stated that this is a fine move as far as he was concerned. Ms. Mueller is a member of this community and her parents are upstanding members of this community.” Mueller accepted the training approved by the Coeymans town board and started the academy on July 16, 2017. By January 2018, Amanda Mueller had left the Coeymans PD — after having finished her training — deserting the Town and the Coeymans PD to go to the Albany County Sheriff”s Department. “A member of the community” and “upstanding members”, so much so that her thanks to Coeymans was to leave. Good riddance to local rubbish.

We didn’t waste time and we immediately initiated an investigation and demanded that the Town of Coeymans Police Department and the Town of Coeymans produce certain documents relating to the incident, the operations of the Coeymans PD, and the purchasing practices of the Town of Coeymans, expecting to find numerous violations of policy, procedure and law.

Coeymans never disappoints us. Or maybe the real question is whether the Democrats in Albany County should all be convicted and jailed. All of the perps in this horror story are Democraps!!! Just a coïncidence? Yeah! And maybe 60 years of Democrat Machine Control in Albany is just a coïncidence, too? Do you want to buy a bridge? We’ve got one for sale in Brooklyn.

Big Time Dem Machine Man. Too cozy?
P. David Soares, Albany Co. DA

As soon as we launched the investigation, Amanda L. Mueller disappears from sight. In response to a demand for disclosure, it appears that after we launched the investigation, someone thought it best not to hire her to the Coeymans PD, and she left to take a position with the Albany County Sheriff’s Department. That figures; we weren’t surprised in the least. After all, the Albany County Sheriff’s Department is part of the Albany County Democrat Machine, including the Albany County District Attorney’s Office (P. David Soares), all of whom, historically, have been in the same bed as the local Dems and their little nest of scoundrels, including the Gregory and Leah Darlington, Gerry and Cathy Deluca, Tom Dolan (Coeymans town board member and director of Ravena Choices program), and the Phil Crandall (disgraced former Ravena village justice, now Coeymans Town Supervisor), and the Warners of Ravena Village Hall (Nancy Warner and hubby Hal Warner). Let’s not forget that Hal Warner was an Albany cop who got taken off the street and given a desk job for civil rights abuses; he was later elected as a village justice in Ravena. It was Hal Warner who stabbed his colleague, then part-time village justice while also Coeymans town justice, Phil Crandall in the back when Crandall was doing favors for local Dems like Tom Dolan, Richard Touchette (Director of the Albany County Roman Catholic Diocese Cemeteries and elected two years ago to be on the Albany County Legislature. Surprised? Shouldn’t be; Albany County Dems in action!) and others, leading to the investigation by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct that forced Crandall to resign as village justice and, as a condition, to never run for judicial office again. Instead, Crandall ran for Coeymans Town Supervisor under the Dems, and is now Town Supervisor. Go figure!

Have the Coeymans Police turned red-bra ho’s?

Well, once the connections were made between Coeymans, Amanda Mueller, and Mueller Automotive, the cat hit the fan and Amanda Mueller disappears from Coeymans. Chief McKenna also has had enough and he resigns. Now we’re left with an underfunded Police Department and no professional chief to lead it. Somehow Daniel Contento, a Coeymans police sergeant, is appointed acting chief. This is where the Coeymans PD goes into a dead-man’s spiral into oblivion.

On March 12, 2018, an international scandal haunts the Town of Coeymans and the Village of Ravena, when two Coeymans police vehicles are videoed in the act of harassing, terrorizing and finally running over a defenseless raccoon in the public parking lot of Faith Plaza in Ravena. The video goes viral and causes an international uproar, national and international media carry the story, the video gets millions of hits on social media, petitions in protest get tens of thousands of signatures almost overnight. (For details, please see our article at “We are speechless! OMG! Coeymans Police Caught on Video Again!”.)

Again, we launch an investigation. And again, we find that the Town of Coeymans has egg on their faces.

Town of Coeymans Police Department’s Law Enforcement Manual has never been updated since 1998

As in the case of the Amanda Mueller investigation, we found that the Town of Coeymans Police Department’s Law Enforcement Manual has never been updated since 1998; the procedures are 20 years old!!!

The procedures also contain outdated or incorrect information. Even if Coeymans police complied with the procedures and policies, they would be 20 years behind the times. For example, the Law Enforcement Manual title actually reads “Town of Coeymans and Village of Ravena Police.” The Village police department has been out of existence for a number of years, at least ten years.

The procedures also require that in an animal control action, the local Animal Control Officer be called to the scene to manage the situation. Coeymans doesn’t have an animal control officer and hasn’t had one for years!

Our investigation turned up a large number of errors, inconsistencies, even lies in the documents provided by the Coeymans Police Department and the Town of Coeymans. Regrettably, we have to say that this wasn’t unexpected.

Is the Department of Health Report jerry rigged?

Even the New York State Department of Health testing report read like a scripted response to provide the inept Coeymans police with at least a dumbass alibi or excuse for their scandalous behavior. (Please see our article, “Follow-up Report: Coeymans Raccoon Incident. We still have our doubts!” for details.)

The People of the Town of Coeymans wanted, insisted that they keep their Coeymans Police Department, and a responsive Supervisor Steven Flach let them have their police department, got rid of the criminals running it, and hired a professional law enforcement expert, Peter J. McKenna, who did great things for the Department and for the community.

Phil Crandall was booted from the courts and got himself elected as a Democrat to be Coeymans Town Supervisor and things started downhill to hell in a handbasket. He diverted (stole) money that was generated by McKenna, and Crandall used it elsewhere. Crandall and his board cut funding for the Police Department, and took other steps to make life unpleasant for Chief McKenna. Finally, McKenna, not needing the job, had enough and resigned. Crandall and his cronies got their way, and the Coeymans Police Department, now without leadership, spun out of control first with Amanda Mueller’s antics and then with the killer cops at Faith Plaza.

We now have to resume our campaign for elimination of the Coeymans Police Department, thanks to Mr. Crandall and his dumbass clowns on the Coeymans Town Board. Coeymans wanted their police department and also wanted Crandall; one had to go. The wrong one went. It’s obvious that if the People of Coeymans want a Coeymans Police Department, their elected officials like Phil Crandall have to provide the funding for it. Crandall did his best to unfund the Coeymans Police Department into the ground!!!

If Ravena has lapsed into irrelevance, Coeymans is running close behind. The events of 4 or five years ago are starting to pale in comparison to the devastation we are seeing in the village of Ravena and the Town of Coeymans. Corruption, incompetence, loss of businesses, deteriorating infrastructure, plummeting quality of life in all respects, and the crooks seem to stay in office. Is this American democracy at work? Maybe. But local residents are to blame; local residents are the only ones who can change the situation.

Finally, we would like to share this from a resident in New Baltimore:

For several weeks now, around noontime or early afternoon, I’ve been driving on Route 144 in the Town of New Baltimore and noticed a Town of Coeymans Police cruiser heading South on 144, in the Town of New Baltimore (Greene County). I found that a bit unusual, since Coeymans is in Albany County, and the Coeymans police would have no business patrolling in New Baltimore, in Greene County. The first couple of sightings made me just curious but then I became suspicious. The Coeymans Police have no business in New Baltimore, at least not that much that frequently. The other day I decided to follow the Coeymans police cruiser and find out where it was heading. Perhaps the NB Town Hall for a court case? But it was not a court day. Anyway, I followed the cruiser and it turned into a residential driveway and stopped, the driver exiting and moving towards the double-wide trailer. I went a bit farther and turned around. When I got to the location, I stopped took down the car number and got a good look at the woman and the patrolman standing on the porch chatting. The car was 926. Can you find out what it’s doing in the Town of New Baltimore? It’s not official business, that’s obvious. Is it misuse of a police vehicle for private visits?” [Name withheld on request.]

We have in the past asked for Coeymans Police vehicle assignment sheets and were told that there were no such documents. Does that mean that no one knows who is driving the vehicles? That’s pure rubbish from a number of standpoints. But it wouldn’t surprise us in the least; after all it’s the Town of Coeymans.

But we do have some questions and we do want an answer: Who is driving the Coeymans Police Department cruiser No. 926 into the Town of New Baltimore in Greene County? What is the official busness being taken care of at the trailer on Route 144 in the Town of New Baltimore?

Follow-up Report: Coeymans Raccoon Incident. We still have our doubts!

Please Note: On Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 7 p.m. the Town of Coeymans will hold it’s Town Board Meeting. We have information that residents, citizens and animal organizations will address the board about the conduct of the Coeymans Police and what the Town of Coeymans is going to do about it. Be there. Make your voice heard! Or at least just show up to learn what the community has to say!

The Town of Coeymans Police Department continues to be the subject of widespread interest following the ugly display of unprofessional conduct and stupidity last Monday, March 12, when Coeymans Police responded to an animal control call and proceeded to provide a sickening circus freak show performance as they pursued a raccoon in their patrol cars (one marked, another unmarked), finally running down the terrified animal and running over it. All of this happened in the pothole-rich parking lot of the Ravena Shop’n Save (Village of Ravena, Town of Coeymans), after a call from the CVS Pharmacy that a raccoon had “tried to enter the building.”

After one courageous residents, Ms Bryana Catucci, and several other witnesses videoed the Coeymans Police yahoos and the termination of the terrified animal, those videos went viral on several Internet sites, including Facebook and YouTube, and the Smalbany blog published a detailed and informative article on the incident. The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society voiced their outrage and condemnation of the Coeymans Police actions.

To give you an idea of how outraged people are about this incident, just one site, Care2 Petitions, has more than 76,000 signatures, more than 8,500 signers in NY state alone, condemning the Coeymans Police! To give you an idea of how many people 76,000+ is, it’s more than 9x the entire population of the Township of Coeymans!!! What does that tell you, dear readers?

The Coeymans Police have no up-to-date procedure for dealing with animal control issues. The town of Coeymans has no Animal Control Officer. The New York State Department of Health report on tests done on the animal sounds bogus!

I can’t believe my eyes!!! I can’t believe their horrible conduct!!! I can’t believe the lies!!!

Almost immediately following the incident, Smalbany blog contibutors filed a demand under the provisions of the New York state Public Officers Law, Article 6 Sections 84-90 Freedom of Information Law (N.Y. Pub. Off. Law Sees. 84 to 99) for the production of documents with the Coeymans Town Clerk and the Coeymans Police Department, demanding information related to the March 12, 2018, incident in which the Coeymans Police Department used police vehicles to harrass, terrorize and kill a raccoon in front of dozens of witnesses at Faith Plaza in Ravena, New York (Town of Coeymans, in the jurisdiction of the Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares).

Initial Information Provided by the Coeymans Police Department (“acting” police chief Daniel Contento (SGT)) and the news media were contradictory and confused. We decided to get the facts.

One glaring fact is that the Coeymans Police protect their own. They delete any references to the officer’s involved or anyone involved. Do you think that’s fair play? If you were picked up by the police, your face and name would be plastered all over the police blotter and the local news media. Why are the police and their cronies so protective? Aren’t they public servants, paid by us? Don’t we have a right to know which ones are bonkers and which ones are not?

The Town of Coeymans responded with the usual halfwit evasive answers but provided two important documents: the Testing Report No. RAB18ANI01172-SR-1 from the NYS Department of Health, Wadsworth Center, and an extract from what appears to be an ancient “Coeymans Police and Ravena Police Law Enforcement Manual, Administration (in the following called the PLEM/A),” Section 46.0, Subject: Animal Control/Rabies.” the Coeymans Police Department. We say “ancient” because this section dates back to October 15, 1998 — it’s almost 20 years old and hasn’t been revised, updated, or replaced — and refers to “Village of Ravena Police,” which hasn’t existed for years, and is signed by former Police Chief Scott Geroux!

Furthermore, the Law Enforcement procedure repeatedly refers to the Animal Control Officer and how the police have to notify the Animal Control Officer for assistance when dealing with an animal control issue.  According to the Law Enforcement Manual:

“46.2.1 The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is a civilian employee of the Police Department. The ACO is responsible for responding to and mitigating incidents and complaints relating to domestic and wild animal”

If the local Animal Control Officer is unavailable, the procedure requires the Coeymans Police to notify an animal control officer from a nearby jurisdiction. Again, according to the Law Enforcement Manual:

“(46.3.2.2) Request the response of the ACO to the scene whenever available.
“(46.3.2.2.1) If the case requires the immediate attention of the ACO, that information shall be relayed to the ACO. If he is still unavailable to respond an ACO from another jurisdiction shall be requested.”

Town of Coeymans PD: “The Town of Coeymans does not have an Animal Control Officer.”

Coeymans Police Department Procedures date back almost 20 years without revision!!!

The problem that we have identified in this entire Keystone Cops episode is that the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department are about 20 years behind. You see, according to a certified statement provided by the Town of Coeymans, “The Town of Coeymans does not have an animal control officer.”

Well if the Town of Coeymans has no animal control officer, then the entire 1998 procedure allegedly followed by the Coeymans Police Department is absolutely useless, out of date, and a sham!!! In other words, the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department have no up-to-date guidelines for handling this type of situation.

The Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department have no up-to-date guidelines

[Editor’s Note: We have considerable information that shows that the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department Law Enforcement Manual is out-of-date and obsolete in several other areas, including How to handle a traffic stop!!!]

The basic issue is leadership and how law enforcement functions or does not function in the Town of Coeymans

Coeymans Police on Pussy Patrol.
Did you know that cats are the domestic animals most at risk for rabies?

But this whole hullabaloo is NOT about whether an animal was sick or not. The basic issue is leadership and how law enforcement functions or does not function in the Town of Coeymans. There is no leadership in the Town of Coeymans or the Town of Coeymans PD.. The Coeymans Police Department is dysfunctional. That’s the question that is driving most people crazy right about now. Then there’s the question of how the Coeymans Police abused and tortured a defenseless animal using their patrol cars. Anyone with half a brain would have been able to figure a reasonable and safe procedure for dealing with an animal threat, if there was one, and there was none.  Just view the videos and all you’ll see is a normal appearing raccoon, terrified, running for its life and two Coeymans cop cars racing back and forth. Any sane person would, as most of the witnesses did, that the cops were a greater threat to the public’s safety than a terrified animal trying to escape them!!!

Well, we also have a copy of the Department of Health (DoH) test report done on what was left of the raccoon after the Coeymans Police had their perverse jollies. The DoH report is apparently written by a halfwit chimp. Here’s why:

First of all the report does indicate that the raccoon showed evidence of rabies infection. The report did not say that the animal was capable of infecting another animal or harming a human being. Information obtained by us from the CDC clearly states that the animal is infectious only in the very late stages of the disease, shortly before the disease kills the animal. At that late stage the animal’s brain is so far gone that the animal’s behavior is obvious: it acts like it’s drunk, it loses its balance, it staggers, it is confused. Again, the videos show none of this; in fact, the animal looks pretty coordinated as it’s running across the Faith Plaza parking lot!

Some sections of the report make it look like it’s been jerry rigged to provide the Coeymans Police with an alibi. Here are just a couple of examples taken directly from the DoH report:

“Signs of rabies: NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER; Other signs: MOVING ABNORMALLY, SHAKING.”

Who made these observations? Do the Coeymans Police have veterinary neurological training that made it possible for them to have decided that the unfortunate animal had a “neurological disorder?” They also note in the report that the animal was “moving abnormally, shaking.” Well, first of all, the DoH was unable to make those determinations because the animal was d-e-a-d, pancaked by the Coeymans Cops. So where did this information come from? Hearsay? The Coeymans PD?

Here’s more of the gibberish in the report:

“Comments: Observed acting sick at the CVS in Ravena. Killed by running over with car by Officer [Redacted] of the Coeymans Police Department (…No reported contact. Rabies test need before further testing.”

The only animals acting sick were the Coeymans cops who tortured the animal and killed it!

Again, we have the DoH sockpuppets repeating what the Coeymans PD was insisting but didn’t have a factual basis to make the statements. The raccoon was “observed acting sick at the CVS in Ravena.” Sick? Curious? Hungry? If an 8th grade science student made these statements, we’d send him or her for remedial help! But that’s in an official report. Hearsay! Not facts! The only animals acting sick were the Coeymans cops who tortured the animal and killed it by “running over [it] with car by Officer [his name is deleted from the report!].” What’s disturbing is not only the unsubstantiated statements but the fact that there was  “no contact reported.” According to the report, the animal made no contact with anyone!!!

After all is said and done, the report reads:

“Rabies testing: Evidence of Rabies was found by the fluorescent antibody test.”

The report is again incomplete because it doesn’t state which fluorescent antibody test was used. That information is very important in terms of whether the test is accurate. Furthermore, for scientific and epidemiological reasons the information provided is incomplete and practically useless! Again, whether this is the truth or not, the test results came fully 24 hours after the incident, and cannot provide any justification or support for the Coeymans Police stupidity.

Just by way of comment, the report concludes with the statement:

“Notes: [1] Submitting county was phoned with positive results. Reported to Marsha at 10:32 a.m. by JJ.”

What in hell does that mean? Who in hell is Marsha? Who in hell is JJ? But that’s supposed to be an official report from the NYS DoH in response to a serious incident. Don’t we have any standards at all in this community, in this state? Or are all of our public servants halfwits and dumbasses? We think you know the answer to that question already.

So, dear readers, you have the state of affairs in the Town of Coeymans: Useless and outdated procedures no one has had any interest in updating or revising, a team of goons who have no leadership or guidance, disgraceful and despicable conduct by local law enforcement, a very questionable report from a New York State department tasked with ensuring the public’s health, and another negative report gone viral about the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department. But you must admit, they are consistent, even in making complete asses of themselves.

We are making the documents provided by the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department available for your entertainment. Please note that the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department refused to provide some documents, including the names of the Coeymans PD employees involved in the incident. They also have no records about callers reporting the animal, although acting Coeymans police chief, Daniel Contento (SGT), made public statements that “numerous calls” were received (but not by the Coeymans PD, since their listed number goes to Albany County 911). We verified only one 911 call about the raccoon. That call was allegedly from someone at or in the CVS pharmacy at Faith Plaza. We do know of numerous calls received by the Albany County 911 Center complaining about the conduct of the Coeymans Police. Maybe those are the calls Contento is referring to.

Editor’s Notes

As we mentioned above and as we published in our initial article on this incident, “We are speechless! OMG! Coeymans Police Caught on Video Again!” we obtained our information on rabies from several official sources. One of them was the Centers for Disease Control, the federal government’s department for disease control, prevention, and reporting. Here’s some additional information of interest:

According to the CDC, in the period of 2008-2017, a total of 23 human rabies cases were reported in the United States; most of the infections were acquired outside of the United States, most from animal bites in such places as Afghanistan, India, Mexico, etc. On average there are 1-3 cases/year of human rabies reported in the United States . (Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/location/usa/surveillance/human_rabies.html) Compare that with 90 motor vehicle caused deaths each day in the United States (CDC statistics are always 3 yeas behind; in 2015 there were a total of 37,757 deaths in motor vehicle accidents (11.7/100,000 population) Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/accidental-injury.htm).

Given those statistics, where to you suppose our law enforcement efforts should be concentrated? On a raccoon or on motor vehicles?

Furthermore,

  • Transmission of rabies virus usually begins when infected saliva of a rabid animal is passed to an uninfected animal. The most common mode of rabies virus transmission is through the bite and virus-containing saliva of an infected host. ( Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/transmission/index.html)
  • Other contact, such as petting a rabid animal or contact with the blood, urine or feces of a rabid animal, does not constitute an exposure. (Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/transmission/exposure.html)
  • From numerous studies conducted on rabid dogs, cats, and ferrets, we know that when the rabies virus is introduced into a muscle through a bite from another animal, it travels from the site of the bite to the brain by moving within nerves. The animal does not appear ill during this time.
  • The time between the bite and the appearance of symptoms is called the incubation period and it may last for weeks to months. A bite by the animal during the incubation period does not carry a risk of rabies because the virus has not yet made it to the saliva.

According to the CDC, the Infectious Path of the Rabies Virus can be outlined as follows:

  • An animal is bitten by a rabid animal.
  • Rabies virus from the infected saliva enters the wound.
  • Rabies virus travels through the nerves to the spinal cord and brain. This process can last approximately 3 to 12 weeks. The animal has no signs of illness during this time.

A diagnosis of rabies can be made after detection of rabies virus from any part of the affected brain, but in order to rule out rabies, the test must include tissue from at least two locations in the brain, preferably the brain stem and cerebellum. [Editor’s Note: The NYS DoH report is incomplete in this respect because it does not state what parts of the animal’s brain were tested!!!]

The test requires that the animal be euthanized. The test itself takes about 2 hours, but it takes time to remove the brain samples from an animal suspected of having rabies and to ship these samples to a state public health or veterinary diagnostic laboratory for diagnosis. [Editor’s Note:  the test requires that the animal be euthanized, killed humanely and mercifully, not terrorized and run over!!!]

In the United States, the results of a rabies test are typically available within 24 to 72 hours after an animal is collected and euthanized. (Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/diagnosis/animals-humans.html)

When it reaches the brain, the virus multiplies rapidly and passes to the salivary glands. The animal begins to show signs of the disease. The infected animal usually dies within 7 days of becoming sick. (Source, CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/transmission/body.html)

Why You Should Avoid Ravena-Coeymans and New Baltimore, New York

Among so many other scandals and secrets, we now learn thru the media that the depressed village Ravena in the depraved Town of Coeymans (New York) may be getting garbage from Connecticut. Long-time polluter and environmental disaster LaFarge cement may be accepting tons of Connecticut garbage for burning in Ravena! According to an article in Hudson Valley 360, the online version of the Register Start and the Daily Mail, “A proposal is under consideration in the state of Connecticut that if enacted, could bring 116,000 tons of trash to the LafargeHolcim cement plant for burning each year.” Of course, everyone from the Lafarge spokesperson to corrupt Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall and his lackey, town board member Tom Dolan, plead ignorant, “We are not informed.” But the plan, according to the media, means that the Ravena plant could be burning 116,000 tons of solid waste every year in the near future. But local officials know nothing about this, of course. Aren’t they supposed to be aware of what’s going on in the town? (When the construction of the new kilns was announced nothing was said about burning garbage!)

[Read more at: Connecticut’s trash may be headed to Lafarge (Hudson Valley 360), and at Proposed solid waste removal plan could mean Conn. waste comes to Ravena (News 10 online)]

Infrastructure is crumbling. Real estate is plummeting and deteriorating. Tax base is dwindling. The ignorant still elect the ignorant…

Coeymans has a disgraced former town justice (Phil Crandall (D), Coeymans Town Supervisor), at least two former prison guards (guess what their attitude is to dissent or opinions), and a known bully used car salesman (Jim Youmans (D)), plus their cronies and friends (Cindy Rowzee (D), Crandall’s former “confidential secretary,” as Town Clerk, in key town government positions. Coeymans Town Hall has become the backwater, hill town version of corrupt Tamany Hall.

New Baltimore has an illiterate, barely high-school educated, but highly paid dolt, Denis Jordan (D), with no formal training training  and no continuing education course, serving as Town Superintendent of Highways (Denis Jordan). Jordan ignores the New Baltimore Town Board and the New Baltimore Town Board — even though they have a Repubican majority on the board –— takes it up the bottom and does nothing to discipline Jordan or to protect residents and their property from Jordan’s incompetence.

When the New Baltimore Town Supervisor complained of anal irritation, this x-ray showed what appears to be Denis Jordan’s foot.

There’s little or no hope for justice in these backwater towns, either. It’s no wonder, though. The New York State Unified Court System (everything but unified) and New York state law requires a town justice to have only a high-school equivalency education and does not require legal training to be a town or village justice. The fact that town and village justices are elected locally, and because the standards for education and training of the judges are so abysmally low, the courts in the area are just as corrupt as the town boards, and local law enforcement. In the Greene County town of Cairo, one town justice, Leland Miller, takes his orders from the attorneys appearing in the court. So much for judicial impartiality. And New Baltimore has two incompetent town justices (Joseph A. Farrell Jr and Thomas J. Meacham, highly questionable ethics and courtroom conduct). Coeymans town supervisor Phillip Crandall, was removed from the bench and forced to resign from his elected position as a town justice and had to promise never to run for judicial office again! A judge disgraced for doing illegal favors for friends. But he then ran for the office of Coeymans town supervisor and was elected! And in 2017 re-elected by Coeymans voters!!! So Coeymans thinks that a dishonest town justice makes a great Town Supervisor? Apparently!

Incest may be illegal everywhere but in Ravena-Coeymans, shyster Michael Biscone can fix it for you.

Ravena doesn’t fare much better when it comes to a village court. Harold “Hal” Warner, a former Albany cop who was taken off the street because of civil rights abuses, and put behind a desk until he could collect his pension — That’s how they do it locally: We take our criminals out of the public’s eye, put them somewhere until they can collect their pensions! There’s a lot of local incest and Ravena, apart from its inbred native population, practices incest in public office, too. Old judge “civil rights abuser” Hal Warner’s wife, Nancy Warner, is a “village trustee” — we wouldn’t trust her with a bowl of cat food; she’d probably want to sell it — The village court is supervised by Mrs Hal, who, by the way would hyphenate her name as Biscone-Warner; she’s a member of a local incest tribe, the Biscones, who appear in public either as crooked real estate agents (Josephine Bruno) selling you local dump properties or as corrupt lawyers (Michael Biscone) who do your real estate work for you with their cousins, the real estate agents. Incest may be illegal everywhere but in Ravena-Coeymans, Michael Biscone can fix it for you. (Michael Biscone’s claim to partial masculinity, — he hasn’t seen that part of his anatomy in decades — is the fact that he claims to drive a “Bentley,” a fact he won’t let locals forget. He’s apparently on everyone’s payroll both over the table and under the table.)

When Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall complained of similar anal irritation, the x-ray showed his head inserted into his rectum!

Elected government? Forget about it. Where Coeymans has a pack of crooks on their board, New Baltimore has a one-party system for supervisor, and other elected offices: The No-Balls Party. Houses are going up for sale in unbelievable numbers in Ravena, Coeymans and New Baltimore. Property owners can’t get out of these backwater towns fast enough. What doesn’t sell gets either burned down or demolished. It’s a ghost town in the making.

Infrastructure is crumbling. Real estate is plummeting and deteriorating. Tax base is dwindling and the tax burden is falling on the few who are attempting to ride out the storm of mismanagement, corruption, and general incompetence in local government. And you wonder why?

Ravena’s mayor, William “Mouse” Misuraca, was elected by his bar room buddies and bar customers.

What can we say about the village of Ravena? Well, not much. What applies to the Town of New Baltimore and the Town of Coeymans applies equally well to the village of Ravena and the Hamlet of Coeymans. Incompetence, apathy, ignorance, anxiety, crumbling infrastructure, corruption, croneyism, empty storefronts, hemorrhaging businesses and population. Absolutely no vision in village hall. Ravena’s mayor, William “Mouse” Misuraca, was elected by his bar room buddies and customers — the mayor owns one of the local bars — and previously had tax problems so he qualified for local elected office. He’s done nothing for Ravena but plenty for his bar business: Everyone likes to have the mayor pouring his liquor, opening his bottle of beer. His honor William “Mouse” Misuraca! You can’t make this stuff up, people!

Vote for Mayor Mouse Misuraca (or buy 10 beers) and get a Mouse shirt!

Law enforcement in the Town of Coeymans and the Town of New Baltimore can easily be called “Cold Case Criminal Investigation” because you can hand the Coeymans Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff the hottest of evidence and they’ll let it chill until it goes cold. Chilling a case takes less effort and is less expensive than working it, maybe even prosecuting it. But then, the Albany County District Attorney, racist P. David Soares, and the Greene County District Attorney, Joe “Stagnant” Stanzione, as the chief law-enforcement officers in their counties, play the party game, they’re logrollers, country-club members in their respective parties. Don’t rock the boat! Don’t go after friends of “friends.” And you’ll likely be elected for life. Same thing for Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple and Green County Sheriff Greg Seeley, who both play by the party’s rules and stay in office. Corruption? Do ya think so?

Search this blog. For more than five (5) years we’ve been investigating and reporting on the craziness in Ravena, Coeymans, New Baltimore. We have hundreds of thousands of readers. State and local government officials, even the FBI, read this blog, yet the situation gets worse and worse with each election! Why is that we have to ask?

“I don’t get involved in local politics.”

The ignorance is staggering. When discussing — rather attempting to discuss — the local situation with a fairly evolved local (We know that because he was walking on his hind legs, upright!), he responded: “I don’t get involved in local politics.” Well that explains a lot!

It’s a pitiful situation but no one wants to admit the fact that we are in a crumbling, corrupt and indifferent vicious cycle of political parties, NO!, not parties, one political party the Self-Serving Party (or in the service of the Corporations, who then show their “appreciation”). Our politicians, or more accurately, our local wannabe politicians hold carrots on a stick dangling in front of the dumbass sheep (local residents, “potential” voters), and the dumbass sheep (We repeat: local residents, “potential” voters), follow the carrot wherever the lying sacks of dung (= our local wannabe politicians) want them to move. The fascist political party committees pick the candidates and the voters can make their choice between two or more evils, the final choice being evil by default. That’s what our democracy has become. And you sing your stupid carols and shout Happy Holidays, ringing in a New Year with depravity and debauchery, making resolutions you have no intention of keeping — and you try to deny that the coming year, the New Year, will be different from the Old Year. You’ve been deceived so often for so long that you’ve gotten to the point of deceiving yourself, and you don’t even know it. Business as usual in 2018. And Town Hall butters their bread while telling the starving masses, “Eat cake!”

Can you find yourself in this group photo?

The mob has control of the entire floor of Town Hall

When you look back on 2017, do I have to spell it out for you? What do you see? Well, in 2015 Coeymans elected a bunch of recycled losers to occupy Coeymans town hall. Phil Crandall and his mob of morons, Jim Youmans, Tom Dolan, all losers, made life miserable for the decent public servants, Coeymans Police Chief P.J. McKenna and Town Clerk Diane Millious. In 2017, Crandall was re-elected (or was he?) by the Coeymans villain voters. Crandall’s “confidential secretary,” Cindy Rowzee,  was elected by those same villainous voters to take over the Town Clerk’s office. Diane Millious after more than a quarter century serving the Coeymans community had had enough, had suffered enough abuse from Crandall and Youmans, two scurrilous bullies, and had shed enough tears. So they drove an honest town clerk out and installed a fixture from the corrupt supervisor’s office. Now the mob has control of the entire floor of Town Hall.

The Coeymanites handed their community over to the Coeymanazis!

The Hamlet of Coeymans is a social welfare slum. Run down buildings, abandoned buildings. Buildings being demolished at an alarming rate. Lost tax base; overtaxing those who are stupid enough to remain in what is a textbook example of the American third world in the making. Corrupt Town Hall, abuse of power, and a cowering community. Guess who’s to blame? The Coeymanites handed their community over to the Coeymanazis!

New Baltimore is just as bad. The Democrats served themselves and their friends for years. Now it’s the Republican’s turn. We say Democrats and Republicans but they are the same. For the past 4 years New Baltimore has been the Republican’s sandbox and they’ve done absolutely nothing to benefit taxpayers. The New Baltimore Town Board has proven that the fish stinks from the head down. New Baltimorons can pay their taxes to pay the freaks in the Highway Department to ruin their property, to devalue their real estate, even to create dangerous situations and then refuse to correct their defective work. The New Baltimore Town Board has the wherewithal to correct the situation — New York State Town Law actually gives the Board considerable power over the Highway Department — but when you got no balls and you have an incompetent town attorney advising you, the community suffers, that is, what’s left of the community.

Editor’s Note: In our article New Baltimore Elections: No Choice. The Sequel.(Nov. 4, 2017) We called on New Baltimore voters to protest all unopposed candidates by withholding their votes for unopposed candidates. Again on November 6, 2017, we repeated our call for New Baltimore voters to withhold their votes for unopposed candidates (Election Day Recommendations. This is the moment of Truth!); we advised New Baltimore voters simply not to give unopposed candidates the numbers. On November 7, 2017, we published the election results for New Baltimore (Congratulations, New Baltimore! You did good!). Those results showed more than one-third of ballots cast did not vote for an unopposed candidate. Those numbers sent a very strong protest message to those candidates. It was a great response to our call to withhold votes from unopposed candidates and not to give them the numbers! One third of New Baltimore residents who voted did not vote for an unopposed candidate! Bravo for those voters! Then, in our article, Complacency is a Bad Thing…Especially in Local Government, published on November 10, 2017, we put local, county, and state officials on notice that we would be watching and reporting, warning that complacency and indifference would not be accepted, warning them to be on their guard. This article is to show that we have not let our guard down; we still have your back, neighbors!

New Baltimore Town Board Meeting

New Baltimore would rather sit back and let their insurance company attorneys f**k with New Baltimore taxpayers

Even the higher state courts expect the Town Boards to take care of their own dirty laundry and to keep their incompetence out of the court system but New Baltimore would rather sit back and let their insurance company attorneys f**k with New Baltimore taxpayers — unless you’re a friend of New Baltimore Highway Superintendent Denis Jordan or, as the incumbent Republicans like to say, “Republicans take care of Republicans” — You pay your taxes and the town of New Baltimore uses the money to screw you, while taking their salaries, and padding their pensions. You get to pay attorneys until your money runs out and your home collapses around you. They’ll ruin your property but they’ll still send you a hefty tax bill. And you’ll still be liable for their debt service. Complain? Sure. They’ll send a letter telling you you have to appear before some board months later! But you’d better not be late paying your taxes! Or your dog license, they’ll hit you with a $5 surcharge or threaten you with court action. Small town government at its best!

Don’t give Coeymans Police trainee Amanda L. Mueller any attitude! Hooters in Coeymans PD!

A bunch of kids in uniform with too much power (little authority), and a bunch of bored, ignorant geezers “supervising” them…

Local Coeymans police department rookies go for the quick and the easy: traffic passing through their territories, while a blind eye is given to criminals and obstruction of justice within the department. Serious cases go cold because of indifference and incompetence in the police department. But seriously, can we expect more of boys and girls who are barely out of puberty, still have identity problems, have barely an education, no life experience, no real ability to make good decisions, and you put them in a uniform, pin a badge on them, give them a gun and IT’S PARTY TIME BACK IN HIGHSCHOOL BULLY LAND!!! That’s what we have in Coeymans right now: a bunch of kids in uniform with too much power (little authority), and a bunch of bored, ignorant geezers “supervising” them. Lord save us from ourselves…and our police!!! (See our article on Amanda L. Mueller, local rookie bully cop, at Coeymans Police Turning Into Coeymans Gestapo Again?)

Coeymans: Save money. Put children in uniform, turn them loose on the community.

The antiqaited, obsolete and incompetent town and village court system is a collection of ignorant, just barely high-school educated hicks in black robes, elected by their friends until they are sanctioned, censured, or removed by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Mayor “Mouse” Misuraca
Village of Ravene, NY

Ravena is run by a local bar tender/gin mill owner, so-called mayor Bill “Mouse” Misuraca. Coeymans is run by a disgraced town justice, Phil Crandall, and several recycled politicians. Crandall, Coeymans town supervisor, was removed from his elected judgeship for ethics violations and doing favors for his friends. New Baltimore is a shambles, run by a bunch of balless board members, who can’t even get the town highway superintendent to keep reasonable records. New Baltimore has become a one-party town, where several elected officials, including the town supervisor, were “voted” into office this past election; the problem is that they were unopposed! There was no other candidate to choose! Local democratic process at work. (BTW, it was the Democratic party that was unable to cough up an opponent to the Republican incumbents.) Misuraca’s campaign slogan was lifted directly from the GOP (Republican) National Committee’s slogan, “Committed to Community,” but his administration is more committed to Misuraca’s bar room ego than to any notion of “community.” His campaign couldn’t even come up with a decent campaign slogan.

In the meanwhile, the infrastructure is crumbling and corruption abounds. New Baltimore Highway Superintendent Denis Jordan is doing favors for his friends using town equipment, but refusing to correct deficient and defective sewers and roads in the National Historic District.

(George Dardiani or Thomas Frese (Dem))

Roads are shit, transportation is shit, local elected officials are shitheads and dumbasses, law enforcement are bullies or worse, judges are ignorant and the courts run by the lawyers. Ravena, Coeymans, New Baltimore have descended to below third world quality of life.

(Joseph Farrell or Thomas Meacham)

What left of families and what’s not “brown trash” or “white trash” is quickly vanishing as the children grow up, go on to their fake higher education, go deeply into debt for a third-rate education but can’t find jobs, struggle to pay back their student loans accrued for their third-rate education (generally because the academic standards in the RCS Central School District are so low, and the RCS CD Board of Education know nothing about education but love to spend money). Once the kids experience what it’s like in the outside world, no one has any plans to go back to their backwater hill-town home towns. They go elsewhere.

Local Village Justice in Ravena deciding a case.
(The notorious former Albany cop taken off the street and assigned a desk job for civil rights abuses, Harold Warner.)

As the children leave the area, what’s left are the parents, aging, miserable, and heavily taxed. Property taxes are some of the highest in the state and with the wild spending practices in the RCS school system — plenty of money for AstroTurf and sports field renovations, seasonal refreshment stand construction, and tennis courts but none for books — aging parents question the value of paying school taxes in a community where there are no children and for the third-world education for “brown” and “white” trash, or for snooty, “me-first” part-time parents (parents who split their time between their personal interests and parenting). The obvious solution: people are selling their homes and moving to areas where, if they must pay high taxes or taxes at all, they will at least get a reasonable quality of life and some public services in return.

The situation in the village of Ravena-, and the towns of Coeymans and New Baltimore merely reflect the general decline and the depressed atmosphere of the New York Capital Region. The whole region is, and has been for generations, rife with thievery and corruption. The corruption starts in the state capital, Albany, and from that nest of depravity, extends its loathesome tentacles out to surrounding communities, even crossing county lines into Schenectady, Rensselaer, Greene counties. It’s a mess.

The entire area has turned into a hippo farm

The unfortunate fact that the Ravenese, the Coeymanites, and the New Baltimorons (a term coined to describe their neighbors by Ghoul’s Gulch denizen, Joan Ross a.k.a. “Cut-and-Paste” Joan and her partner in vileness, “Bitter Bob” Ross, imports from depraved Albany) have to admit is that they owe all their problems and misfortunes to their ignorance and apathy. They could have it much better if they’d simply take an interest in their community instead of complaining and turning into ugly hippos. Yes, dear readers, The entire area has turned into a hippo farm. Depression leads to many things and one of them is a lousy diet, lack of ambition, and obesity.

Two locals having a chat

Ravena and Coeymans is a veritable hippo farm, a breeding ground for every ailment, mental and physical, that accompanies a depressed and apathetic community. And Albany Medical Center is right there to open up yet another EmUrgent Care location, the Walmart of the American healthcare system, where you can go and sit and wait to be seen by an incompetent physician’s assistant who will give you what you are looking for, a fake diagnosis and a prescription, you’ll pay and be on your way. Everyone’s happy: you got your fake diagnosis and prescription, the EmUrgent Care staff got their numbers and are rid of you until your condition worsens and you return for the ambulance ride to the Albany Medical Center emergency department where you will wait 14-20 hours to get a bed and, if you don’t die there, you’ll be dumped out on the street in a couple of days with another fake diagnosis and another useless prescription. Best healthcare system in the world — or so they tell us.

The Bigger Picture

How we got here; where we’re going from here.

Life in the United States has become highly confused and superficial. Confused because the population is bombarded with conflicting and contradicting information from all sides, particularly the media. A general atmosphere of fear and anxiety is foisted upon the American people by everyone from the POTUS on down. Fear of North Korea. Fear of guns. Fear of shooters. Fear of aging. Fear of the cold and flu season. Fear of this or that product. Fear of the weather. Fear of fear.

The anxiety actually starts with fear of failure. Parents and the education system has failed to teach the value of failure as a learning tool. The result has been a downward spiral of expectations and standards to the extent that the education lie has become a reality. The young people graduating from our schools are dirt dumb. But they do know how to thumb-type and how to conceal a weapon so they can shake things up at school.

Albany High School. Once a place of learning the largely minority high school has become a place of violence, criminality, and police presence!

Take as an example the recent student fight phenomenon (See: Update: Albany High will close Friday after fights spilled into street) or weapons in school (See: Student with gun is arrested), as happened recently in Albany High School (Albany,, New York), a huge collection of kids of color (a fancy term for blacks and mixed-race youth) coming from disordered and angry homes, mostly single parent households, if that, who bring their anger and loneliness to school and start shooting or brutalizing each other. Once the shooting starts, the stampedes start. It was all caught on film and broadcast for all to see a week ago. The new entertainment, it seems. The new United States it is. Soon, the government’s first phase of destroying American values will have been concluded: those poorly educated, angry, young people will be churned out into a world that disparages them, a jobless world, a world full of the wrong passions and addictions, and they will likely perpetuate their anger and misery. They will all be churned out not with competencies and confidence but a sense of arrogance and entitlement; self-destructive and depleting.

George Orwell painted a very accurate picture of the world back in 1948, when he penned his prophetic novel, “1984.” It’s all coming true. Then there was Aldous Huxley’s novel “Brave New World,” and  the film “Soylent Green.”

Editor’s Note: Since our schools do not teach literature any longer, and people don’t read real books, being too wrapped up with Facebook and Twitter, truncated, abbreviated virtuality, I’m going to proved a brief synopsis of these novels for our readers:

Brave New World (Aldous Huxley, 1932). The author describes a world, in which citizens are engineered through artificial wombs and childhood indoctrination programs into predetermined classes (or castes) based on intelligence and labor. Lenina Crowne, a hatchery worker, is popular and sexually desirable, but Bernard Marx, a psychologist, is not. He is shorter in stature than the average member of his high caste, which gives him an inferiority complex. His work with sleep-learning allows him to understand, and disapprove of, his society’s methods of keeping its citizens peaceful, which includes their constant consumption of a soothing drug called soma. Courting disaster, Bernard is vocal and arrogant about his criticisms, and his boss contemplates exiling him to Iceland because of his nonconformity. His only friend is Helmholtz Watson, a gifted writer who finds it difficult to use his talents creatively in their pain-free society.

Nineteen-Eighty-Four (“1984”) (George Orwell, 1948).  As literary political fiction and dystopian science-fiction, Nineteen Eighty-Four is a classic novel in content, plot, and style. Many of its terms and concepts, such as Big Brother, doublethink, thoughtcrime, Newspeak, Room 101, telescreen, 2 + 2 = 5, and memory hole, have entered into common use since its publication in 1949 (A complete glossary of “Newspeak“can be found at Newspeak. Nineteen Eighty-Four popularized the adjective Orwellian, which describes official deception, secret surveillance, brazenly misleading terminology, and manipulation of recorded history by a totalitarian or authoritarian state. There’s a great online study guide for “1984” but we think it might be interesting for our readers to first check out the Themes page. It’s an interesting read.

Soylent Green (Film directed by Richard Fleischer, 1973). The 20th century’s industrialization led to overcrowding, pollution and global warming due to the greenhouse effect. In 2022, 40 million people live in New York City; housing is dilapidated; homeless people fill the streets; many are unemployed; those few with jobs are only barely scraping by and food and working technology are scarce with most of the population surviving on rations produced by the Soylent Corporation. Their latest product is Soylent Green, a green wafer advertised to contain “high-energy plankton” from the World Ocean, more nutritious and palatable than its predecessors “Red” and “Yellow” but in short supply. The main characters are New York City Police Department detective Frank Thorn, who lives with his aged friend and police analyst, Solomon “Sol” Roth. Fast foward to the end: Roth is so disgusted with his degraded life in a degraded world that he seeks assisted suicide at a government clinic. Thorn rushes to stop him, but arrives too late. Roth is mesmerized by the euthanasia process’ visual and musical montage – extinct forests, wild animals, rivers and ocean life. Before dying, he tells Thorn his discovery (that Soylent Green is made from human beings) and begs him to expose the truth. Thorn boards a human disposal truck to the disposal center, where he sees the human corpses converted into Soylent Green, but is spotted and has to flee. Returning to make his report, he is ambushed by Fielding and others. In the ensuing firefight, Thorn kills his attackers but is himself wounded. When Hatcher (Thorn’s supervisor) arrives, Thorn tells him what he has discovered and urges him to tell the researchers so that they can make a case against Soylent and to spread the truth about Soylent Green. Hatcher promises that he will. Thorn is taken away by paramedics, shouting out: “Soylent Green is people!”

The apathy and anxiety are fatal to the community. The root cause is that people see so much wrong and wrong-doing, and our elected officials and office holders don’t seem to care, they are indifferent and for the most part incompetent due to inexperience or lack of education and training. Elected office has become an ego enhancement or a way to acquire power and influence and is even used against the voters, taxpayers and property owners. It seem that our elected officials quickly become the enemy and the oppressors, not the promised benefactors we speak to when they’re campaigning.

You’re drowning and you don’t get out of the water? That’s malfunction!

Over the passage of time, just as any disease process, the sufferer becomes tolerant of the pain and discomfort and learns to live with it for better or for worse. That’s what’s happened in our communities and that’s what’s happening across the nation.

You allow your kids to play violent games and shed virtual blood, they become tolerant and insensitive to violence. You allow yourself to spend hours a day on Facebook while you avoid doing more worthwhile things or even necessary things, and you become tolerant to being irresponsible and inefficient; in fact, you become addicted. You allow your elected officials to take you, the voter for granted, you allow them to do as they please while in office with no accountability or transparency, you allow them to treat you with disrespect, you soon become tolerant of it and you get more of the same. Business as usual. But the effect on you is fatal: you lose your dignity, you become apathetic, and your self-esteem plummets. Same things happen to entire communities, to entire nations. It’s happening right now.

The women’s answer to being unable to cope in a “men’s world:” sexual harassment.

The confusion is infiltrating every space in our lives. One example is the confusion we now face regarding the once clearly defined question of gender, and the acceptable behavior between the genders. When the male-female roles were clearer, that is, in the generations where men were men and women were women, there was respect and certainty. The man was the provider and protector, the woman was the nurturer and the educator. Now men are still expected to be men, but women have insisted on invading the previously men’s world, but the women don’t want a level playing field. They want the rules changed: they want to assume male roles but want to keep the advantages associated with being a woman. They want to enter the male world but can’t play the game by the same rules. We now have the women’s answer to being unable to cope in a men’s world: sexual harassment. Whenever a woman feels inadequate or unable to cope, she bounces back with a claim of sexual harassment. If you can’t cope or play by the rules, then just be a victim. Victim is in. But this scenario causes a great deal of confusion because no one feels trusted or safe any more; the result is anxiety everywhere. And that’s just one example of the myriad confusion and anxiety situations. The mistrust of women and the feminist agenda has even affected some men’s desire to even get involved with women, who are now perceived as adversaries, unnatural, predators, opportunists, freaks. Those men might very well be right in their diagnosis of such confused gender benders as many women have become. The Orwellian stigma attached to any charge of “sexual harassment” by any psycho no matter when the alleged event may have occurred, has reached a troubling peak at this writing. A defense is nearly impossible; the merest allegation is politically annihilating. It’s just one of the many diseases of our current culture.

So now you know the facts. What are you going to do about it? How are you going to improve your life, your community, the nation in 2018?

Coeymans Police Turning Into Coeymans Gestapo Again?

Is Anyone Supervising the Rookies Turned Loose on Our Streets?

The Coeymans Police are Getting Heavy Handed Again. Get rid of Amanda L. Mueller, she’s bad news! Silly cow wants to be a bully cop!

If you are a local resident and driving through Coeymans, and happen to have a headlight out, wouldn’t you be grateful for a warning from a helpful police officer rather than a ticket right away? Well, forget the helpful patrolman and welcome the Fascist Gestapo back to Coeymans. And just when we thought things might be getting better, the Coeymans Police Department stocks up on ignorant brutes to harass local residents.

Coeymans has a really lousy record when it comes to female law enforcement trainees. Remember Danielle Crosier, she was a real loser, unless she was running police vehicles off the road or onto guardrails. She kept her job for as long as she could by doing deputy chief Kerry Thompson (while he was also doubling as an Albany County Sheriff Department lieutenant). So how’s trainee Amanda L. Mueller, Badge No. 149 keeping her job? She doing one of the Coeymans board members? No, that can’t be. None of the board members has any balls; no balls, no drive.

Two Coeymans police officers stopped the resident for a headlight being out.

Problem is, the Coeymans police, or at least trainee Amanda L. Mueller doesn’t know the difference between a vehicle’s high beams and fog lights. But if Mueller was partnered with another officer, a male officer, who was the senior officer. Certainly not Mueller. And if Mueller was not the senior officer on that patrol, why didn’t the senior officer set her straight? Go figure. Cops, as we all know, stick together.

Amanda’s Father’s Business, Mueller’s Automotive, on Main Street in Ravena.

But we’re a bit confused by Amanda’s ignorance. You see, Amanda Mueller’s father owns Mueller’s Automotive, the automotive repair business on 88 Main Street in Ravena. That’s the same place that services the Coeymans Police Department vehicles. Now isn’t that an interesting coïncidence? As we always say, “Follow the money!” Now, given that fact, wouldn’t you think that sweet little Amanda would know the difference between fog lights and high-beam headlights?  What’s more, might little Amanda’s quick-to-hand-out-tickets behavior be a hint that maybe she’s plugging good ol’ dad’s automotive repair business, one of the only ones in Ravena-Coeymans, and that getting the work done at Mueller Automotive might be the first step to a dismissal of the ticket? Sure, everyone in Ravena-Coeymans knows that Amanda Mueller is a local and who her daddy is!

We see a serious conflict of interest
The plot thickens with a little investigation

We see a serious conflict of interest case growing out of this otherwise unfair, but minor incident involving a Coeymans Police Department employee, a local automotive business, a police trainee who is a close relative of that business owner, and the fact that the town of Coeymans, the Coeymans Police Department does business with that trainee’s father’s business. The plot thickens with a little investigation, doesn’t it?

We see a serious conflict of interest in Amanda Mueller’s actions. Corruption, perhaps?

Hint to the Coeymans Police: You need aIl the support you can get from literate, competent residents. (Obviously you’re not getting it from your Twitter tweets!) You mess with the better element in this community and you’ll have more to deal with than just a disgraced town justice and a corrupt town board. If you want community support and good will, and you really need it in these times, you start by being helpful, not abusive. Your trainee Amanda L. Mueller and her partner were abusive to the local resident who happens to be a very upstanding and influential person, who could put most police officers to shame in terms of integrity and ethics.

They say that they’re there to “Serve and Protect.” Has anyone told them that?

Cold-Case Coeymans

They can’t complete a criminal investigation.
They can’t take a criminal complaint.
They’ll ignore evidence and obstruct justice (Right “Detective” Jason Albert”?)

If they do, it’ll go cold and they can close it. CLOSED. UNRESOLVED.
But motorists beware! If you have a headlight out, they’re gonna gitcha!

Give the biatch a badge and she becomes a bully biatch!

Once again! Shame on you Coeymans Police! Shame on your patrolpersons Amanda L. Mueller, Badge No.149. Give the biatch a badge and she becomes a bully biatch! Bully biatch in a uniform, smart mouth, vindictive, abusive. Perfect for Coeymans. Must be native brown trash from Main Street in the Hamlet.

Someone needs to counsel trainee Amanda /.L. Mueller that as a patrolman, she’s part of the executive branch of government, not the judiciary. She is not out there to make decisions, to judge a resident, and then to punish the resident. That’s the job of the judiciary in observance of the provisions of the Constitution and scrupulous interpretation of law. We doubt Ms. Amanda L. Mueller has the training, education, or brains to do that.

Judge Judy’s Response to Coeymans Cop-trainee A.L. Mueller.

Two Coeymans police officers one female and one male, stopped the resident for a headlight being out.

Mueller: “I would have let you off with a warning but because you gave me an attitude about the high beams, I’m going to give you a ticket.”

When they stopped the resident Mueller insisted that the resident “Turn off your high beams.” When the resident responded that the high beams were not on, and he was driving with his fog lights on, Mueller becomes annoyed. Her response to the resident: “I would have let you off with a warning but because you gave me an attitude about the high beams, I’m going to give you a ticket.” Attitude?  ATTITUDE?  The resident was merely stating that his high beams were not on, that his fog lights were on. So she’s wrong and retaliates. Just what we want to see in our law enforcement. Bullying. So, Amanda Mueller doesn ‘t like being wrong and if she is, she’s going to get even. Nice police work. Nice community work.

Editor’s Note: For those of our readers who, like Coeymans Cop-trainee Amanda L. Mueller, don’t know the difference between high-beams and fog lights, we’d like to help you out: When driving in fog or even in wet conditions, or when visibility is poor, the light from regular headlights reflects off water droplets back into your eyes, impairing rather than improving visibility. Fog lights are positioned low on the vehicle and have a wide beam angled toward the ground, which reduces glare and helps you see the road better. (Source: CarId at https://www.carid.com/fog-lights.html, last accessed on 20 December 2017) So, dear readers — and trainee Mueller — there’s a big difference between high-beams and fog lights.

If Mueller said what she is reported to have said, there will be repercussions

We are going to make our inquiries because we think that all stops must be recorded, audio and/or video. If there’s a recording, one of our editors will be looking for it and will review it. We will obtain a copy of the ticket issued to the resident as soon as possible, and will follow the case. If there is a recording of the interaction during this stop, and if Mueller said what she is reported to have said, there will be repercussions.

Now isn’t that sweet? Mueller doesn’t know high beams from fog lights and when she’s corrected, it becomes “attitude” and then she retaliates. Retaliation is not in the script, Mueller! In fact, you need to be disciplined for your unethical and unlawful conduct. We assume that all of the transaction was recorded? If so, we’ll get a copy. After all, if a warning would have been enough, just because the resident corrects her, she becomes BULLY COP!

Bully Cops Back in Coeymans!

We expect respect and courtesy.

Notice to the Coeymans Police and to Patrolperson Amanda L. Mueller: Get a grip! Loosen up! We don’t like bully cops and we don’t like retaliation. We expect respect and courtesy. If you think your uniform gives you license to abuse and to bully, your ass is going to be grass and you’ll be looking for a job. Probably a job more in line with your lack of skills and stupidity: a greasy spoon waitress.

It’s behavior like Coeymans patrol Amanda L. Mueller, Badge No. 149, that gets our attention. And the Coeymans Police Department does not want our attention. Ask former chief Darlington and some of his lackies.

Maybe we have to get back on the bandwagon. Maybe we should start pushing again to eliminate the Coeymans Police Department. it seems that all they can do is let criminal investigations go cold. But they are getting real good at bullying AGAIN.

We’ll be following developments in this case and from now on we’ll be looking a bit closer at what’s going on in Coeymans law enforcement or more accurately, Bully Patrol.

What say you, Chief McKenna?

We’ve been very fair to the Coeymans PD since Chief Peter J. McKenna took over. We’ve been very fair to Chief McKenna and very supportive. We have always rated Chief McKenna’s programs and efforts very highly. But now we have to step up to the plate and start policing the police again. True, it takes only one rotten apple to spoil the whole bushel, but who’s going to do the damage control? We know the Crandall mob wants total control. What say you, Chief McKenna?

Editor’s Note: We received notification of this incident from a person with personal knowledge about the incident. If the Coeymans Police have their version of the facts, we’d love to hear from them. We would also like to hear from any residents who have had any recent issues with the Coeymans PD, especially Ms Amanda L Mueller and Mueller Automotive of Ravena. We’re going to be watching Mueller and would appreciate any input from our friends and neighbors in Ravena and Coeymans.

Maybe Patrolman Mueller’s blood sugar was low. Was it that time of the month, Mueller? That may be why she was testy.

Why You Should Avoid Ravena-Coeymans and New Baltimore, New York

Another exposé of more of the dirty laundry of local communities.
(Next week, we’ll be reviewing the documents FOILed by us and produced by the Town
regarding some issues we’ve been investigating. Stay tuned!)

Local Law Enforcement Might Need Some Help with the Math: 2 + 2 = Stahlman!

UPDATE! Stay Tuned!more-details

We’ll be reporting soon on developments in the Coeymans Police Department and their criminal investigation performance over the past couple of years. This may be a decisive moment in the Coeymans PD’s future.

Property and Business Owners are the Backbone of Stability and Wealth, and Services in our Communities; They Pay the Bulk of the Taxes and the Bulk of Public Services, Including Law Enforcement. Why is it, then, that Criminals are Running Hog-wild, while Local and State Law Enforcement, and Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares (D), and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione (R) — two elected dorks we can all regret having elected — are standing around diddling each other!?!

And the Investigation Continues ... Is there an echo in there?

There’s an Elephant in the Room!
And Local and State Law Enforcement Have their Heads Up its Ass!
And the Investigation Continues … Find anything? Is there an echo in there?

Well, sometimes local and state law enforcement need a little kick in the …. well, let’s just say a shot in the arm Their math isn’t all that good, either, so we need to give them a little help with what 2 + 2 amounts to.

In a previous article, Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why?, we covered quite a bit of territory in pointing out a large number of crimes committed against local businesses, and that the incidents were going cold. Coeymans Police, Greene County Sheriff’s Department (Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R)), Albany County Sheriff’s Department (Sheriff Craig Apple (D)), New York State Police, all seem to be experiencing some law enforcement impotence, investigational erectile dysfunction, they appear to have gone flaccid, soft on local crime and criminals.

So we did our own investigative reporting gig and here’s what we came up with.

In our earlier article Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? we pointed the finger at a couple of local, small-change criminals, who we felt were the most likely candidates for a cuffing visit by law enforcement and a couple of years as the state’s guest in one of the correctional resorts we call prisons. Since we wrote that first article Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? we’ve obtained some interesting facts that we feel should have been picked up by our best in blue, those who are there to serve and protect us, but apparently were not, because no arrests have been made.

Here’s what we have:

Zachary C. Stahlman

Zachary C. Stahlman

We noted that Why is it that two prime suspects, Zachary C. Stahlman (Glenmont) and Donald J. Howell, both with criminal records, Stahlman once being charged with misdemeanor possession of a firearm, have not gotten some real attention by local law enforcement?  Charles H. Stahlman (Zachary Stahlman’s father) 52, was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument after using forged $20 and $10 bills at an estate sale on Sunday, State Police in New Scotland. (Source: Times Union, Tuesday, November 15, 2016) Stahlman Sr runs Fat Cat Transport L.L.C. in Coeymans Hollow. Guess where? On Shady Lane. Really! (Source: http://findnycorp.com/corporation.php?id=4650392)

You’re in Good Hands with Allstate. Really?

allstate_sm

According to Zachary Stahlman’s LinkedIn site, he  is employed by Allstate Insurance Company  (click the link) as a “sales producer”; Now you really know you’re in “good hands with Allstate”. Doesn’t Allstate vet their employees? Don’t they do background checks?

We’ve established a connection between the Stahlmans and the victims of the recent crimes. Here’s how we did the math for them :

Charles H. Stahlman Z. Stahlman's father

Charles H. Stahlman
Z. Stahlman’s father

Back in November 2015, Zachary Stahlman and his father, Charles H. Stahlman,  visited a local business on US Route 9W, All Safe Storage, who had a property for lease. The Stahlmans were interested in the property for a flea market business they were starting, Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C.  According to their Internet posting, Fat Cat Antiques, L.L.C. had their Grand Opening on January, 2, 2016, at 1635 Route 9W, Selkirk, the property the Stahlmans leased in November 2015 (click here). So in November 2015, Zachary C. Stahlman, signed a lease contract and entered into a 6-month lease, which was to commence on January 1, 2016. That means there was at least one month during which Stahlman could have voiced any concerns about the premises but didn’t. The landlords were very generous to Stahlman and offered December rent-free, if Stahlman would help remove the owner’s property from the premises. Stahlman showed up for one day and then disappeared. The landlords also reduced the rent for the first six months so that Stahlman could get his business started and established. Of course, that would have meant a stable tenant, they thought. But they were in for a big surprise. No good deed goes unpunished, especially when you’re dealing with low life.

So Stahlman signs the lease, initially every page after the text “Tenant initials confirming that they have read/understood items on page.” We have a copy of the lease agreement and every page is initialed “ZS”, Zachary Stahlman. Stahlman’s father, Charles H. Stahlman, writes a check for the first and the last month’s rent, plus one month’s rent security deposit, a total of $2400.

Stahlman had to get insurance for the premises according to the lease, and he had to get utilities, etc. all in his name. In addition, he had to arrange for heating oil to heat the premises. January 1, 2016, rolls in and Stahlman still hasn’t gotten the insurance finalized and he’s working on the utilities. In the meantime, the landlord is installing a new heating system, all Stahlman has to do is get a fuel delivery. By this time Stahlman has the keys and possession of the premises.

Around January 6, 2016, without informing the landlords, Stahlman has Persico Oil nosing around the property — as it turns out, Stahlman called Persico to “inspect” — and Stahlman shows the so-called service technician, Jack Carona, the new furnace installation. The landlords note that Persico Oil and Carona are on the property and assume he’s there to make the oil delivery. But more than a month later, the landlords are made aware of a report by Carona about the new heating system on the premises. Total rubbish and totally ignorant, Carona makes an unfounded conclusion about what he saw in the few minutes he was on the premises, but never inquired with the landlords! Says a lot about the professionality of Persico Oil Company and its Loony Tune employees!

A Lease is a Contract

According to information we received, Stahlman’s father, Charles H. Stahlman (Glenmont), runs Fat Cat Transportation L.L.C. out of Coeymans Hollow, and Charles H. was actually starting the business, Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C., and Zachary C. Stahlman was going to run Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C. So it get fishy already at the lease signing. Now, remember, the son, Zachary C. Stahlman is signing the lease but his father, Charles H. Stahlman, is writing the check.

So Zachary C. is trying to open a flea market. Usually a flea market rents space to people who want to sell their junk, and we assume that Zachary C. was trying to get renters but wan’t all too successful. Anyway, he signs the lease contract on November 24, 2015, then he moves some of his stuff in around January 6, 2016, and then, on January 11, 2016, texts the landlord that he doesn’t want to lease the premises any more. He demands his rent and security back, and threatens the landlords in a number of text messages. He fabricates every sort of excuse and threatens the landlords with “inspections.”

Note that Stahlman unilaterally  terminates the lease on January 11th but does not return the keys; in other words, he keeps possession and continues to occupy the premises! But he demands his money back. You can’t make this crap up; all you have to do is do business in Coeymans.

So, on February 3, 2016, well after Stahlman notifies the landlords he’s terminating the lease, the landlords receive a letter from their friends in the Coeymans Building Department, from our old buddy Sandy DeBacco, you know the building inspector who works full time at the airport, and works for the Town of Coeymans, and for the Village of Ravena, the only guy we know who can be in three places at the same time and has a 36-hour day created especially for his personal use. [For more on Debacco character, just search this site!]  But all that aside, we all know about Twilight Zone Coeymans and Ravena. So, our little gremlin Zachary Stahlman breaks the lease, commits multiple breaches of contract, demands his money — actually it’s not even his money, it’s his father’s (is it real or counterfeit, we have to ask) — and makes good on his threats of  “inspections.” But that’s not all.

Stahlman doesn’t think that a lease agreement really amounts to anything and that the world is his oyster. He starts getting uppity when the landlords don’t immediately obey and hand over more than $2000 to this ignorant brat, and here’s where it starts to get really nasty.

On July 16, 2016, the first sign of craziness is when one of the landlord’s vehicles is parked in his driveway and the dealer plates are stolen. The landlord notifies the Greene County Sheriff.

Then in August 2016, the landlords are served with a summons to small claims court by Stahlman. Stahlman is bringing the landlords to court in New Baltimore. At the time the freak town justice Lee Davis is still town justice. If you’ve read anything we’ve written about Davis, he’s a real lunatic. He’s supposed to be a lawyer but has spent most of his career advocating for the rights of convicted criminals and now works for the New York State Department of Health, enforcing “discipline” on doctors. So you see, Davis has two things on his agenda: protect the criminal element and punish the professional. Just what you want in a judge, right? Read our pre-election article on Davis based on information obtained from his own brother, New Baltimore town justice Lee Davis.

car-fireThen, on September 12, 2016,  Ford Sedan set on fire on 9W Auto LLC, the landlord’s business lot..  Reported to Coeymans Police. Investigation in progress. Like so many others.

So the case is heard in September 2016. No decision is made by Davis until more than 90 days later, on December 31, 2016, the day before his term of office as town justice ends. (Thanks to our efforts, Lee Davis got the boot on election day.)  You see, we ran a couple of pieces on Davis exposing him as a real perv and screwball. Even his own brother provided information about Davis that would make your hair stand on end! So Davis lost the election. The people of New Baltimore decided they didn’t want the likes of Davis on the bench. But in the meanwhile the cowardly criminal suspects are busy at their trade. But, remember, Stahlman and the landlords are in court, but no one knows what Davis is going to decide. Could go either way and under those conditions Stahlman, Zachary C. and good ol’ Fat Cat dad, Charles H., are really getting ansy about their money, all $2400 of it. So Fat Cat dad gets all out-of-order in court and is removed from the courtroom, and spends an hour or two in the Town Hall parking lot. And guess what? The landlords leave the courtroom and they find that the dealer plates have been removed from their vehicle. Wonder who could’ve done that? Greene County Sheriff is notified.

Stahlman: “What do I owe you?”,  DeVoe: “It’s taken care of.”

This just in: We have received a report that someone present at the trial in September 27, 2016, in New Baltimore Town Court, tells us that when Zachary Stahlman asked his attorney, “What do I owe you?”, she replied, “It’s taken care of.” Well that raises some questions, indeed. How is it that attrorney Susan Hoblock deVoe, of the Latham real-estate law firm of Kerr Devoe P.C. is appearing for several hours in New Baltimore Town Court for nothing? At least Stahlman wan’t on the hook for a couple of hundred dollars in attorney’s fees.

Stahlman Attorney

Stahlman’s Attorney

Do you think that Ms Devoe is getting a little white trash delight on the side? We can’t figure out that some trailer trash, minimum wage woodchuck like Zachary Shaltman could afford a Latham attorney the likes of Susan Hoblock DeVoe! But maybe there’s something bigger here than just a couple of back-woods petty criminals with an axe to grind. Maybe Susan Hoblock DeVoe is on someone else’s payroll and taking orders from someone else, that someone else backing these attacks on All Safe Storage and 9W Auto L.L.C.  Are the local bosses trying to drive them out, away from their valuable property so that Biscone and Co. can expand their empires? Maybe this goes back to the Biscone-Conrad-Deluca landgrab schemes of several years ago. Maybe, DeVoe and her white trash clients are all in on the same conspiracy. Maybe the NYS Police should be interviewing Ms DeVoe or Mr Michael Biscone to find out why she isn’t taking the Stahlmans to the cleaners like she would anyone else. We can’t ask the Albany County Sheriff’s Department or the Coeymans Police Department, both slaves to Democrat machines,  to do that because they’re all taking orders from that Oreo, P. David Soares. The New York State Police might have more scruples and be less partial to the Albany County DA’s office.

But the Stahlmans are still out more than $2000 and they’ve a broken lease but have no decision on whether they’re getting their money back or not. By this time they’re really getting pissed. Desperate men do desperate things.

On October 3, 2016, less than a week after the court appearance and the theft of the second set of dealer plates, one of the landlords gets a text message from telephone number 207-XXXX  “To get these back you will need to send 2000 dollars in bitcoin to wallet address:  12kWJzohnx9NMUssT5 SEebrW5pb5LHs1MK   you have one week or they will be sold. Buyers are already lined up if you refuse”    Greene County Sheriff notified and provided with information. Do they note the coincidence? $2400 for the lease and $2000 for the dealer plates. Do you think the Sheriff’s Department or Coeymans got the coincidence? Apparently not.

Sheriff, DA ... What can it all mean?

Sheriff, DA, Coeymans PD …
What can it all mean?

So now we have a broken lease, a small claims action, two instances of stolen dealer plates, a text message practically putting up the culprits in neon lights, and has anyone been arrested yet? Nope.

On October 28, 2016, the owner of All Safe Storage, also the owner of 9W Auto LLC, was sitting in his office when a vehicle drove by and discharged a shotgun blast, perhaps two blasts, into the front door of the office, destroying the door and peppering the front of the building with pellets. The owner was in the office but fortunately was not injured. Yes, we reported on this drive – by shooting in our article Drive-by Shooting Arrives in RCS Coeymans Police Department, NYS Police, etc. present at the scene. Investigation etc. The case is still “open.” No suspects have been arrested. Do you really feel safe in Coeymans? Really desperate men do really desperate things.

Most recently, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, the owner of 9W Auto L.L.C. arrived on his lot to find the tires on six vehicles slashed. Coeymans police notified. Incident under investigation. Sure it is.

Law Enforcement is Cooperating on this Case

Local Law Enforcement and the New York State Police are Cooperating in the Investigations.

A couple of very obvious suspects are available, if the Coeymans Police are interested. There’s Zachary C. Stahlman who has a history of run–ins with the victims. Stahlman leased 1635 US RT 9w November 2015 with move in date of January 1, 2016.  Stahlman defaults on the lease in January and returns the keys in February.  Stahlman retaliates by bringing the landlords to small claims in New Baltimore Town Court, before failed and defeated New Baltimore Town Justice Lee Davis (D), and the case is heard by Davis on Sept. 27, 2016 for return of security/last months lease payment.  Davis loses the election and makes an 11th hour retaliation decision against the landlords. Davis’ decision dated December 31, 2016, more than 90 days later, is received by the landlords on January 6, 2017.  This is the Stahlman whose father is ejected from the courtroom for disorderly conduct. Still wondering where the dealer plates went? The case is being appealed by the landlords for obvious reasons. Former New Baltimore Town Justice Lee Davis (D) has quite a bit of baggage — his own brother turned on him — if you missed the drama, see our article, Double-Standard Davis: Asking New Baltimore for another Term as Town Justice?

New Baltimore's Two Freak Justices: Lee A. Davis about to smack down Joseph A. Farrell (in the black nightgown).

New Baltimore’s Two Freak Justices:

Joseph A. Farrell (shown in the black nightgown).
Davis and Farrell are two good reasons why the NYS Unified Court System should eliminate the town and village court system. Farrell has recently been taxidermized (stuffed judging by his expression) and can be seen performing his clown act in New Baltimore Town Court on alternate Tuesdays.

It would seem that Charles H. Stahlman, Zachary C. Stahlman’s father, would be at the top of the investigators’ lists. In November 2016, Charles H. Stahlman, 52, was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument after using forged $20 and $10 bills at an estate sale on Sunday, State Police in New Scotland. (Source: Times Union, Tuesday, November 15, 2016) Stahlman Sr runs Fat Cat Transport L.L.C. in Coeymans Hollow. Guess where? On Shady Lane. Really! (Source: http://findnycorp.com/corporation.php?id=4650392) Do you think Zach was going to stock the flea market with merchandise purchased by his father, Charles H. using counterfeit $20 and $10 bills? Maybe.

Stahlman: "You DORKS!"

Stahlman: “You DORKS!”
Got change for a 20?

Here’s the clincher: Our little friend Zachary C. Stahlman has a bit of a criminal history that goes back to 2010. Here’s what we found: On August 20, 2010 state police charged Zachary C. Stahlman, then 19, of Albany with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon: a firearm, both Class A misdemeanors. Stahlman was issued appearance tickets returnable to Greenville Town Court. Now isn’t that interesting.  (Source: Daily Mail, Greene Police Blotter, Wednesday, August 25, 2010) And again, unlicensed driving: Zachary C. Stahlman, 25, of Albany, was arrested at 11:00 a.m. Oct. 20, 2016, and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. This Stahman character has a bit of a history, doesn’t he? Wonder if the Coeymans Police or the Greene County Sheriff or anyone else picked up that little tidbits?

And another prime candidate with a big mouth is Donald J. Howell. Howell works for Capital Taxi in Albany. Howell’s wife, Miranda Cote, is allegedly an hourly employee with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance (information obtained from See Through NY). The suspect signed a one – year lease with the victims for property that was to be used as a flea market at 1635 US Rt 9W. Howell stopped paying rent in December 2016, and had no insurance. In October 2016, Howell rented 1362 US Rt 9W from the victims as a residence.  Howell did not pay January rent and was given 30 day notice in December to vacate premises.   Howell was identified by local Stewart’s store staff as having announced that he was going to damage the victims’ property. When the Coeymans PD officer was investigating the crime was offered the names of the witnesses he responded that ‘he didn’t need them.’ A NYS trooper on the scene took the names. Question: What did he do with the names?

We're close to making an arrest...in the near future, sometime soon...maybe...

We’re close to making an arrest…in the near future … sometime soon … maybe …

Donald J. Howell was arrested by Cobleskill Troopers on May 15, 2014, in Troy unlawful possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a controlled substance in non-original container (Source: Daily Star, Police Blotter, June 21, 2014). that wasn’t Howell’s first brush with the law. Donald J. Howell, then 19,  and Duncan Clancy, then 16,  were charged on July 1, 2001, with an attempt at a class D felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell; and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, second degree (Source: The Altamont Enterprise, Blotters and Dockets, July 19, 2001). There may be more on this druggie criminal but we’re not law enforcement and we’re not going to do their jobs for them. Did the Coeymans Police and the Greene County Sheriff miss this information, too?

We’re watching this situation very closely and we’ll keep our readers updated on the developments — when, if law enforcement can do the math: 2 +  2 = Stahlman.

Law Enforcement, District Attorneys:I don't get it. Can you explain that to me again?

Stupidity Does Cross Party Lines

connect-the-dotsWhen you have this much to go on how can you possibly not connect the dots? We think we really need to think about these elected officials very seriously next elections because they are flat out useless: Albany County Sheriff, Craig Apple (D): Useless; Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R): Useless;  Albany County DA P. David “The Oreo” Soares, Less than Useless; Greene County DA Joseph Stanzione, Useless. Apparently, stupidity does cross party lines.

Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why?

Over the past two years or so we’ve been very fair to local law enforcement, very gentle, and quiet but always watching. We’ve kept our ear to the ground and now it’s time to take off the gloves and ask some burning, critical questions. Why is it that two prime suspects, Zachary C.

Really?

allstate_sm[Editor’s Note: Zachary C. Stahlman recently breached a lease agreement made with a local landlord for premises for a flea market called, Guess what? Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C. Do you think he was going to stock the flea market with merchandise purchased by his father, Charles H. using counterfeit $20 and $10 bills? According to Stahlman’s LinkedIn site, he  is employed by Allstate Insurance Company  (click the link) as a “sales producer”; Now you really know you’re in “good hands with Allstate”. Doesn’t Allstate vet their employees? Don’t they do background checks? ]

It’s not ISIS or alQaeda nor the Russians nor Alexandr Putin we have to worry about, people, it’s the thug next door or the low-life you’re renting to, and law enforcement’s conspicuous inability to enforce the law and to protect our citizens — or worse still, their refusal to do so. Excuses don’t keep our residents, businesses, property safe from criminals.

Kiss ma ass, cops!

Kiss ma ass, cops!
Lendin, Stahlman, Howell

Something’s — still —  rotten in Coeymans, Albany County, and Greene County. According to information we have received on crimes being committed in the Town of Coeymans and the Town of New Baltimore are being put on the back burner. It seems local criminals are thumbing their noses to local law enforcement and getting away with everything from theft to major vandalism to driveby shootings. So our question is this:

Where is law enforcement and What is local law enforcement doing about all of this criminal activity.

Actually, it’s nothing new and has been going on for some time now.

There are several possibilities: Either law enforcement is asleep on the job and is making no effort to protect local residents and businesses from criminals, or law enforcement is unable to do their jobs. The Coeymans Police Department is small and under–equipped, thanks to Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall (D) and his harem,  but even so, can ask for assistance from the New York State Police but Coeymans has to request assistance, since the crime scene is in Coeymans’ jurisdiction. What Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R) and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione (R) are doing is short of nothing. Seeley has a big mouth when it comes campaign time just before he’s up for election and then he’s real tough on crime. What happens after the elections is anybody’s guess but it does seem he goes a bit flaccid, a bit limp, some erectile dysfunction there, a bit soft on crime. As for Greene County DA Joe Stanzione, he’s been notified about a number of law enforcement failings and seems to have gone deaf or something. Maybe he’s brain dead but he seems to be out to lunch with Seeley when it comes to law enforcement. So what gives, Greene County media? Have you all gone Republican-soft — We thought that was a Dem thing, a Liberal thing…Right Mr Soares? — on crime? What are we financing Greene County law enforcement, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, to do? Give free rein to the crooks and criminals in Greene County? We want some answers and quick!

It’s totally ridiculous when you think that the suspects can steal NYS dealer plates from a car in the New Baltimore Town Hall parking lot right under the noses of the Greene County Sheriff’s deputies who would be in the courtroom and also have a satellite station in the New Baltimore Town Hall. You can’t make this stuff up! It’s disgusting, really.

Albany DA P. David Soares, the Oreo

Albany DA P. David Soares, the “Oreo”
Still giving CPR to the Albany Dem Machine!

As for Albany County, that cesspool has been a den of corruption and crooks since time immemorial. We all know about Albany County DA P. David Soares and his collection of morons — not servants of the people but servants of the system — in the Albany County DA’s office. Take for instance Soares’ reputation as being the worst DA in the country. The most notable thing Soares has done since he’s been in office is to play the Soul Train race ticket to get re–elected, and then Soares the Oreo turns around and screws the black community. And then there’s his little bunch of trollops like Chantelle Cleary and Carmen Warner, daughter of Nancy Warner, Ravena village trustee, and Harold “Hal” Warner, Ravena village justice, who were involved in some indecency on Facebook, had to resign from their positions in Soares’ office. Well, that’s OK since Michael Biscone collected Soares’ garbage and hired Warner. If you don’t recall the incident, see our article The Warners: A Family Tradition of Misconduct

It gets worse when we have to look back to the days of Gerald “Dirty-Hands” Deluca and Gregory “Dumplin'” Darlington when they were running the Coeymans Police Department and Ravena-Coeymans. There’s the story of Scott Lendin, who vandalized several vehicles on the 9W Auto LLC lot, and stole electronic equipment out of one of the vehicles. He had the equipment in his possession when apprehended. Lendin even allegedly announced that he “had friends in the Bethlehem Police Department,” and he obviously had friends in the Coeymans Police Department and the local courts, too. Because when he appeared before then justice Phillip Crandall, who has since been disgraced and removed from the court and banned from ever running for judicial office again — but who then ran for public office as Coeymans Town Supervisor and was elected by Coeymans voters. Well, the Coeymans Police Department either because of their “special relationships” with the local criminal element or as retaliation, dragged their feet in the Lendin investigation until Lendin was released with less than a slap on the hand. No doubt Deluca and Dardiani had colluded to screw up the investigation, and Albany DA Soares was up to his neck in corruption with Deluca and Dardiani. After all, Darlington’s wife was working in Soare’s office as a secretary at the time. Can you imagine the information that got leaked to and from the Coeymans PD from the DA’s office and back? We reported on this and much more back in . If you don’t remember, you can read our article, Exposé: The Lost Felonies, to refresh your memory.

When Deluca and Darlington were “forced” to resign from the Coeymans Police Department, and P.J. McKenna, a veteran police investigator and law enforcement professional, was hired to be Coeymans Police Chief and to reform the Coeymans Police Department, we were skeptical and still demanding that the Coeymans Police Department be eliminated outright. But we gave McKenna a decent chance and left him alone to allow him to do his thing. Was that a miscalculation on our part?

We are now asking ourselves the big question: Has anything changed? Or are the criminals still in control of the Town of Coeymans?

Well, anyone who’s been tracking the Crandall goons in Coeymans Town Hall, knows damned well that the criminals are in control of Town Hall. Anyone who thinks otherwise is probably on Crandall’s staff payroll. No money for the Coeymans Town Clerk or for the Coeymans Police Department but plenty of money for Crandall’s harem, even if they haven’t got a clue how to run a computer. Right, Nita Chmielewski?

Has the Deluca-Darlington Clown Show become the Crandall-Youmans Sitcom?

Has the Deluca-Darlington Clown Show become the Crandall-Youmans Sitcom?
(Shown left to right: Phil Crandall, Nita Chmielewski, Jim Youmans)

But back to local law enforcement… There’s something really fishy going on in our community, and it looks like the criminals are thumbing their noses to law enforcement, telling them to kiss their criminal asses. Since we published our article on the “Lost Felonies” back in March 2013, during the Deluca – Darlington clown show, we had hoped that things might have changed and that with a professional law enforcement veteran in the chief’s office, things would be getting done and done fairly and legally. We’re having our doubts, though.

sorry-no-change_smDeluca and Darlington had no qualms about doing whatever it took to keep their handlers happy and themselves in their jobs. Retaliation was the rule rather than the exception. Police abuse of power and harassment were routine. Obstruction of justice was the S.O.P. All you have to do is go back and search our articles for the horrible state of affairs in Ravena – Coeymans just two years ago. All you have to do is F.O.I.L. the list of complaints filed against the Coeymans Police Department and its officers. It’s in the public record. Our concern is that with Deluca and Darlington the law was ignored and abused — and all that with the complicity and cooperation of the local town and village courts and justices, not to mention the Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares — , and residents were not protected from the criminals; we have new faces in the Coeymans Police Department, and while the outright public abuse has disappeared from view, little appears to have changed in terms of public safety!

Residents and Businesses are Under Attack!

But there’s still something sinister going on. Crimes are being committed and the investigations are going stale, if the crimes are investigated at all. And Coeymans Town Hall and law enforcement does nothing but point fingers. McKenna cries that Crandall is depriving the Coeymans PD of resources to which the Coeymans PD is entitled; Crandall responds that Coeymans has no money (but he keeps hiring his minions and populating his office with numerous clerks and girly friends). McKenna blubbers that he doesn’t have the staff or the equipment to properly do his job but he doesn’t ask for help from the NYS Police or the Albany County Sheriff. So the criminals party and local businesses and residents are placed at risk. Is this the “serve and protect” and the government services we expect? Drop the egos you dumbasses; residents and businesses are under attack!

There is Hard Evidence and Corroborating Evidence!

There is Hard Evidence and Corroborating Evidence!
But local law enforcement in Coeymans and Greene County have gone erectile dysfunction, soft on crime!

Make your own decisions. Here’s the timeline on several incidents that have occurred to one single business owner living in New Baltimore and owning property and doing business in the Town of Coeymans:

  • On March 2013:  Scott Lendin vandalizes several vehicles at 9W Auto LLC, steals electronic equipment from one of the vehicles, is apprehended, “has friends in the Bethlehem PD”, appears before Phil Crandall, and goes Scott [no pun intended]  free. Admittedly, that was during the Deluca – Darlington police – state regime (see below for more on this). But let’s go on….
  • On August 2015:  All copper plumbing stolen out of 2530-34  property on Rt  9W, Town of Coeymans – over $7,000 to replace and repair the damage.  Still an open case with Coeymans Police Department. Just a few feet down the road, the insurance broker’s office was burglarized. Is that still open, too?  No update from Coeymans Police Department on this case, except that it’s still “open.”
  • On July 16, 2016:  Dealer plate stolen off auto in 9W Auto owner’s driveway. Greene County Sheriffs called for investigation. No update from Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
  • On September 12, 2016:  Ford Sedan set on fire on 9W Auto lot in the Town of Coeymans.  Reported to Coeymans Police Department for investigation. No update from Coeymans Police Department. Case still “open.”
  • On September 27, 2016: NYS dealer plates stolen while victims car, again the owner of 9W Auto LLC,  is parked at the New Baltimore Town Hall while owners are in court with suspect Stahlman. During the proceedings, Stahlman’s father is thrown out of court for being disorderly, and spends a couple of hours outside; during that time he and has motive and opportunity to remove the dealer plates during the time he is outside the courtroom.  The theft is notified to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. No update on the investigation. Case still “open.” [Editor’s Note: The Town of New Baltimore has a Greene County Sheriff’s Deparment satellite station in the town hall. It was constructed with prisoner slave labor using prisoners from the Coxsackie Corrections facility.]
  • On October 3, 2016: The owners of 9W Auto LLC receive a text from telephone number 207-5523  “To get these back you will need to send $2000 dollars to as bitcoin wallet address. The text gives the victims one week to pay the ransom or threatens that the dealer plates will be sold, stating that “buyers are already lined up if you refuse.” Greene County Sheriffs Department, Gregory Seeley (R), notified and provided with information. No update from Greene County Sheriff’s Department. What in hell is going on here? Any questions, readers? The Greene County Sheriff’s department has a text from a working telephone number, and a message demanding $2,000 for stolen dealer plates, and what doe they do with this information? Your guess is as good as ours but they’re doing obviously NOTHING!!!!
  • On October 28, 2016: the owner of All Safe Storage, also the owner of 9W Auto LLC, was sitting in his office when a vehicle drove by and discharged a shotgun blast, perhaps two blasts, into the front door of the office, destroying the door and peppering the front of the building with pellets.
  • Just a couple of days ago, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, the 9w Auto LLC owner arrives at his lot and  finds tires slashed and flattened on six cars and one truck –  The business owner called 911 for Sheriff assistance. Albany County Sheriffs deputies “busy at airport” and so the Albany County Sheriff’s Department contacted Coeymans Police Department.  A single rookie patrolman appears to investigate this major crime. Chief P.J. McKenna was notified of the criminal activity.  [Editor’s Note: After we left the scene, just a short time after the Coeymans patrolman left, we drove by Mayone’s Plaza and observed two Coeymans PD cars and two Coeymans patrolmen “processing” a motorist. We have to admit, they have their priorities, don’t they?] By the way, we have learned that on January 30, 2017, almost 24 hours after having discovered the vandalism, a Coeymans Police Department detective appears on the scene to investigate.  Several thousands of dollars in damage not to mention the fact that new tires have to be purchased and time and effort expended to replace the destroyed tires. Any guesses, readers, where this one is going?

In fact, we visited the crime scene on Sunday, shortly after the Coeymans patrolman left the scene, and we were shown plenty of evidence, even footprints showing how the perps entered the property and exited it, from the neighboring restaurant parking lot! There was even  — several patches of blood in the snow. Hopefully the rookie patrolman collecting the blood didn’t screw up the evidence!. Obviously the perps cut themselves when vandalizing the cars. Wouldn’t you think that the cops would be checking out the footprints and suspects to see if they had any recent cuts? Maybe. Time will tell but judging by the past performance of our law enforcement pros; we wouldn’t put any money on this bet.

Furthermore, it’s not as if these incidents are occurring hundreds of miles apart! They’re occurring at locations just a couple of minutes away from each other; it appears obvious that the victims are being singled out by a person or persons with an ax to grind. There is obvious motive and plenty of opportunity and several suspects are known. What we don’t understand is that with evidence like that text message and the demand for $2,000 that some law enforcement agency — Coeymans Police, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley, NYS Police — haven’t apprehended the criminals and why the perps are not in custody!!!! And where is Albany County District Attorny P. David Soares and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione on these crimes and the failure of their law enforcement people to take some action??? These are questions we can start asking when they’re campaigning for re-election soon.

We're on the case. We're investigating.

We’re on the case. We’re investigating.
Or is law enforcement just dancing the dance?

So, readers, who are the suspects? We don’t think we’re interfering with a police investigation —  if there’s any investigation being done at all — at this late point in time, so we’re happy to share what we have found out:

"Big Mouth" Hillman

Donald “Big Mouth” Howell

What do the witnesses have to say? Have you even interviewed them?

What do the witnesses have to say?
Have you even interviewed them?

We’re just wondering if the Stahlmans and Howells have any relationship with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department or DA Joe Stanzione’s office. Is there a connection with the Coeymans Police Department or the Albany Machine? Do ya think there might be a connection?

Property owners and business operators in the Town of Coeymans and elsewhere are the pillars of the communities; they pay the majority of taxes that go into paying pubic employees, like law enforcement, and the salaries of elected and public officials. Property and business owners pay for our schools and libraries, too. The very schools and libraries and public services that the criminals and low-life like them are benefiting from at the expense of the very property owners and business operators they are victimizing, and the police are failing to protect! You certainly don’t think that the likes of the Stahlmans, Howells and similar trash are carrying their weight in the community, do you? and the What do you think you’ll have when the criminals drive out more business from Coeymans if law enforcement continues to drag its feet in ensuring that Coeymans and our communities are safe for us all?

So, that’s just one victim, who has been victimized multiple times in recent months. Don’t you wonder why our local news media aren’t reporting these stories? Why is this all hush – hush? What is local law enforcement doing with their time anyway? Well, we do know that they’re not at NYS Thruway Plaza 22 enforcing the stop sign laws. And we do know that they’re not controlling the meanderings of the huge vehicles traveling up and down Rt 144 and moving through Ravena. And we do know that they’re not apprehending suspects or solving any local crimes. That we do know. And what we want now is answers. Lots of answers. And they’d better be forthcoming or we’re going to come down real hard on law enforcement with some real investigative reporting, and some probing questions. And we don’t think it’s going to be pretty.

One final question: When if becomes obvious that the criminals have the upper hand and that law enforcement is incompetent, how do citizens protect themselves and their property? When they drive by shooting, do we shoot back? When they trespass and vandalize our property, do we protect ourselves and our property? Or do we call 911 and get excuses and no answers? If the police can’t enforce the law and keep us safe, what about some good old frontier justice? What do you think?

Editor’s Postscript

It seems that local residents have short memories so we’d like to refresh your memories. Remember just a couple of years ago, the Deluca-Darlington police state persecuted the sitting president of the RCS Board of Education, who was wrongfully and falsely accused of harassing Josephine (Tracy) O’Connor, by allegedly calling her “fat.” The BoE president was arrested and arraigned, although eye witnesses reported that the accusation was totally false. See our article Congratulations!  Do you also remember that Josephine O’Connor’s father, alleged alcoholic and druggie, Joseph “Joe” Tracy accosted a local business woman at her place of business, hurling abuse and profanities, in the presence of eye witnesses, and when the woman attempted to file a complaint with the Coeymans Police Department, then part-time homey, Kerry Thompson, an employee of the Albany County Sheriff’s Department, cuddle toy of Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, refused to take the complaint! Of course, at the time Thompson was alledgedly “doing” bimbo rookie Dawn Crosier, who was later fired. Have you forgotten the harassment of local kids, the illegal searches and seizures. The false complaint made by Cathy Deluca about harassment in her illegal Ravena Health and Fitness Center and the refusal of the Coeymans Police Department to follow-up even though a tape recording was produced in evidence showing she lied to the police. Coeymans PD Jason Albert was in charge of that investigation ignored the evidence against Deluca — most likely out of fear of “Dirty-Hands” Jerry Deluca’s and Dumplin” Darlington’s bullying — and did nothing (Albert has since been promoted to ‘detective’. Does a cop apprehend another cop’s hippo wife? Well, usually only if he wants to break off a piece of that ass candy. Promotion must be the reward in the Coeymans PD for obstructing justice.)Have we forgotten the regular harassment by certain Coeymans PD employees, the disappearing complaints, the disappearing felonies? The collusion of the Coeymans and Ravena Courts with their friends and insiders in Village Hall and Town Hall? And let’s  not forget the land-grab conspiracies of Laverne “Larry” Conrad — abusing his position as Town of Coeymans Code Enforcement Officer —and Michael Biscone — in his various conflict-of-interest roles as town/village attorney and real estate attorney — and their friends at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Conrad, Biscone and others had the Coeymans Police Department snugly and cozily in their hip pockets under the honchoship of Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca and his darling dumplin’  Gregory Darlington. In the meantime, Coeymans, your former dumbass fraud police chief, Gregory A. “Dumplin” Darlington is collecting more than $41,000 a year in pension benefits at your expense. And Jerry “Dirty Hands” Deluca is collecting more than $22, 000 a year in pension benefits for his abuse of Coeymans residents. Deluca and Darlington may have been forced to retire but they’re laughing all the way to the bank! The list could go on but all you have to do is search for a couple of names — you should know them — on this blog.  Are you ready to take action against the criminal takeover of your property and businesses? Our law enforcement leaders have to be made accountable to US! They have to answer at our town and village meetings! This includes our county elected Sheriffs, whom we elected to ensure enforcement of our laws and our public safety. If you agree, leave a comment!

For your information, local media, News 6, News 10, News 13, Times Useless, Columbia-Greene Media were all offered details of this story. So far no one’s published. We really matter, don’t we?

We’ve heard that an investigator employed by the Coeymans Police Department runs a side business installing surveillance cameras. It also appears that that investigator recommends his products and services to crime victims. If this is being done during or in the course of a crime scene investigation, it appears to us to be highly unethical, even a conflict of interest. We’re looking into this too. That sounds like something Josephine Bruno (a Biscone, at Prudential Real Estate) or Michael Biscone (also a Biscone) would do with Larry Conrad in their land-grabbing conspiracies. Josephine was in the Ravena Village Clerk’s office and connected with the Ravena Village hall and got insider information on properties in the area. It’s also no secret how Michael Biscone, a crooked attorney in Ravena, connived and conspired with Larry Conrad, Coeymans Code Enforcement Officer, and others, including contacts in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, to start problems for local landowners and then to pick up the property real cheap. Let’s hope the story of the Coeymans PD investigator is just a rumor. But our experience and local culture would indicate that it’s very true.

Congressman Chris Gibson Here on October 2, 2014! Be there!

Your United States Congressman Chris Gibson will be in our area on October 2, 2014, we are advised by New Baltimore Republican Club president, Jeff Ruso.

Congressman Chris Gibson Here on October 2nd!

“I received confirmation that Chris Gibson will be at the New Baltimore Republican Club meeting of Oct. 2nd.  This will be at Pegasus’ Restaurant. We start at 7:00, but the Congressman is not expected until about 7:45.  George Amedore, Peter Lopez and others also are confirmed.” *
 * Editor’s note: There may be a donation at the door but there is usually food, door prizes,
and a 50-50, which make it a bit more fun.

This might be a great time to take an evening, have a little bite to eat at one of our area’s leading eateries, the famous Pegasus Restaurant, to meet your neighbors, and to grill your legislators.
Colonel Chris Gibson United States Congressman

Colonel Chris Gibson
United States Congressman

The New Baltimore Republican Club is a very welcoming, friendly group of neighbors, and we’re sure they’d be more than delighted to welcome anyone of any party affiliation from the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk communities, as well as neighbors in Greene County.

It may be a good time to also address the local problem of anti-military bias in our schools, and hear what the national legislators think of the RCS scandal raised by Mr Tom DiAcetis, principal of the RCS high-school, and Mr Alan McCartney, RCS central school district interim supervisor. That scandal united 19 local students to challenge DiAcetis and McCartney, who were shredded on national media, and mobilized parents to hand out National Guard t-shirts at the recent RCS homecoming game. (See the front-page report in the Ravena News Herald, October 2, 2014). DiAcetis and McCartney are desperately backpedaling but it’s doing them no good, except to further mark them as liars and incompetent as leaders. The Ravena News Herald appears to be providing DiAcetis and McCartney with excuses but when Bryan Rowzee of the Ravena News Herald quotes Alan McCartney as saying, “McCartney went on to explain that the recruiter personally ‘apologized for his actions…”! Well, Mr McCartney, the recruiter is not the one who should be offering apologies, you ASS! You should be apologizing all the way to the door, together with Tom DiAcetis, and your special-interest biased RCS board of education! You should be apologizing for your anti-military bias, your double-talk to the taxpayers and parents of this district, and your lax attitude with renegade and maverick school administrators and crooked teachers! No, Mr McCartney, the unnamed recruiter doesn’t have to apologize.

outrageAnd Thank you! James Staats of South Bethlehem for your short but very to-the-point letter-to-the-editor of the News Herald in which you give DiAcetis and McCartney the lashing they deserve! Mr Staats writes: “McCartney went on to explain that the recruiter personally ‘apologized for his actions and agreed to meet with students concerning the shirts.” We’d like to note that the News Herald’s and Rowzee’s attempts in the extensive positive coverage of the RCS school district in the October 2, 2014, issue is an obvious attempt to distract readers from the seriousness of the DiAcetis-McCartney scandal. In fact, it’s insulting to read that McCartney says that the recruiter “personally apologized”! For what? Mr McCartney. It’s not the recruiter who owes us an apology, you ASS! It’s YOU and Tom DiAcetis! Our legislators, Mr Gibson, Mr Lopez and others (Amedore) need to weigh in on this scandal; after all, they can lean heavily on education officials in the state and federal departments of education to discipline such violations of civics and civil rights.

Open Letter to all RCS board members:

While I know many of you, I want to address the full board on a matter of extreme importance.

As a graduate of RCS and an Army veteran, I am outraged by the decision of  Interim Superintendent AlanMcCartney to ban the wearing of tee-shirts handed out by the National Guard to students. This is a graphic of a soldier standing sentinel in defense of our freedoms. This should not be offensive to anybody but should invoke pride that we have courageous men and women to serve our country.

I would like an answer from each one of you; not in political gobbeldygook, whether you agree or disagree with his decision. I would like to remind you that this is not just about budgets but our basic freedoms that our soldiers have fought and died for.

I am calling for an immediate firing of Dr Alan McCartney. We don’t need to pay $600 a day to disrespect our military and further erode our hard fought freedoms.

James S. Staats
South Bethlehem

We’re publishing Mr Staats’ letter in its entirety because we believe he’s right. But the Ravena News Herald reaches less than 3,000 readers each week; we get that many in a day! Published here, it reaches thousands of readers locally, nationally, internationally. It expresses many residents’, voters’ sentiments and sentiments that our legislators like Mr Gibson, Mr Lopez and potentially Mr Amadore are well-advised to keep clearly in mind.

Question: Where is George McHugh, an Army JAG officer, and Terry Kindlon, a marine, on all of this. You’d think they’d be out prosecuting DiAcetis and McCartney as well and the members of the RCS CSD board of education pro bono for their un-American activity! Hello! Guys, where are you?!?

Not only should local veterans and others mobilize and make the October 2 NBRC meeting to meet our legislators, you should appear in support of the United States Armed Forces. Yeah! Ask Mr Gibson, Mr Lopez and Mr Amadore where they stand on these issues.

What does former Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington do while all of this is going on? He throws a sissy-fit and resigns. We think that ex-military law enforcement like former NB constable, the late Don “Squeaky” Tanner and former police chief Frank “Babe” McCabe, two proud veterans, would have gone down there and taken the cowards by the scruff of the neck and kicked some anti-military ass. They were law enforcement who had family values, morality, had the community spirit, watched everyone’s back, and cared for every kid as one of their own! Not like the beasts we have in local law enforcement now who make our young people Public Enemy No. 1 and their ticket to an undeserved pension.

Remember: Candidates need the support of major political parties to get on a ballot and run. That’s the way it is. But once they’re in office, no matter who elected them, they have an obligation to represent the best interests of EVERYONE, not just the ones who supported them, in their district. It’s our responsibility to remind them of that fact.

We hope to see many of our loyal readers at the Pegasus Restaurant (10885 State Route 9W, Coxsackie, NY 12051 Tel. (518) 731-9200),  on October 2, 2014, to meet Mr Gibson, who is running against pretty rich-boy liberal Sean Eldridge (the ‘White Obama’).

October 2nd, at Pegasus Restaurant, promises to be a blockbuster! You may want to phone ahead to make your reservation: (518) 731-9200.

Bring your questions and pet peeves with you for the legislators.

Editor’s Note: As stupid as it may seem, the town of Coeymans is holding its town board meeting on the same evening, October 14, 2014, as the RCS-CSD board of education is holding their meeting. Both the Coeymans town board meeting and the RCS-CSD BoE meeting need your attendance because both have especially important issues on the agenda. Local residents and taxpayers should not have to make a choice which of these meetings to attend. We urge the RCS-CSD BoE and the town of Coeymans to get their empty heads together and stagger their meetings to allow citizens to be involved and to participate in the democratic process.

We also urge all military, ex-military, veterans to make it a special point to attend the RCS-CSD BoE meeting on October 14, 2014, to show support for our military men and women and our veterans, and to tell Mr DiAcetis and Mr McCartney and the nazis on the RCS BoE exactly what you think of their un-American policies and their disrespect for the loyalty and patriotism of their students and the National Guard! Be there!

Be There on October 2nd! And don't forget the BoE meeting on October 14. We won't forget! The Editor
