Life is life, human or animal, and is a gift to be respected and cherished; it’s not a choice to respect it, it’s a duty, an obligation!

runningBoundaries change or should change as we evolve through creation history. After the fact we act horrified, scandalized, disbelieving when we recall– or are reminded — of the abuse inflicted on others considered to be different from humankind: the attempted extermination of European and East-European Jews by the Nazis, the enslavement of African people by European, Arab and American entrepreneurs, and the slaughter of Christian people for for their religious beliefs. Let us not forget the Armenian holocaust and the killing fields of Cambodia, or the Palestinian scandal that has left millions without a true home for more than 50 years. Laws now forbid discrimination based on gender, race, religion, physical or cognitive challenges, age, and sexual orientation. Yet just a century ago, human beings, women and people of color, Chinese, Italians, Irish, Sikhs, Catholics, Jews in the United States, who were seen as different by those with power faced discrimination, imprisonment, lynching, torture, exploitation, and death. Life is life, human or animal, and is a gift to be respected and cherished; it’s not a choice to respect it, it’s a duty, an obligation!

Gem Farms in Castleton, New York, the people who owned the buffalo, have taken down their webside for “mainenance”. Yeah! Right! Here’s their address and contact numbers, let them know what you think!

They’re also on FaceBook.

We feel that this entire event is the epitome of irresponsibility not only on the part of Gem Farms but also on the parts of the county, state, and local law enforcement. Not only were 15 magnificent animals senselessly and wantonly massacred, a bunch of gun-tottin’ yahoos were allowed to play “buffalo hunter” in the most cowardly way imaginable while our taxpayer dollars were wasted on law enforcement helicopters and equipment, and law enforcement personnel who stood by and watched.

For those of you with any conscience, sensitivity or sense of humanity or civic responsibility, we urge you to contact the following animal rights organizations to lodge your protest of how Gem Farms conducted their business, how they dispatched the yahoos and their guns, and how the animals were senselessly slaughtered when there were clearly other avenues to manage the problem. Ravena: The Scandal Continues

Henry Traver’s $11,000 Pay Raise is Scandalous. Here’s Why:

It’s springtime and you’ll be promenading along the dusty streets of Ravena, chatting to the music of passing heavy trucks,  deeply savoring the stench of diesel fuel, while Carver Laraway is hobnobbing with the New York State governor’s aides, trying to cut deals to repair at taxpayer expense the roads, especially Rt 144, damaged by Carver Companies’ trucks, and while Michael Biscone, Jerry Perrine and Larry Conrad are filling in wetlands with toxic fill and burying natural waterways. (Biscone and Conrad invented the boardgame, “Bury the Creek“.)  Where’s the DEC when Biscone, Perrine and Conrad are doing their mischief? Your elected RCS board of education members are spending your tax dollars hand over fist while putting their own homes up for sale to move out of the area. Yes, all you have to do is ask your RCS board of education president, James Latter, and board member Alice Whalen Why? Why did they run for elected board of education office if they were simply going to jump ship after doing their damage. YES! Ravena-Coeymans, you asked for it and you got it.

More smoke and mirrors regarding the failed Ravena Health and Fitness Center…When will we ever get the truth?

Now, it may be true that you weren’t even asked by the Bruno-Warner-Deluca trio whether you needed or even wanted to spend more than $100,000 a year on a substandard fitness center run by an mutiple-failure, Cathy Deluca. But John Bruno, Nancy Warner and Cathy Deluca made the decision for you and you had to live with it for more than two years. Now mayor William “Mouse” Misuraca and his sockpuppet Bill Bailey are telling us that two individuals want to invest private funds in the dump. Well, if there are that many whackos with too much money that they don’t know what to do with it, we can think of dozens of better investments. Asked by a local resident who the so-called interested parties were, the board couldn’t — or wouldn’t say. Why is that? What’s the big secret? What are you giving away now? Shouldn’t we know the name of the “investors“, the heroes who are going to save your political arses? Who may be going to save Ravena taxpayers from abject bankruptcy? Isn’t it our business who is interested and potentially going to take over a dead business in Ravena, a dead business that is still being financed by public tax dollars? We think so, and we want to know who these so-called investors are. Don’t you, residents, neighbors?

Question: If supporters of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center want to claim that the Fatness Center brings business to Ravena, can they explain Why? during the two years the Fatness Center has been operating, at least 4 businesses have closed their doors in Ravena? This includes Mr Aaron Flach closing his drycleaning operation and terminating the staff of the drycleaning business and the laundromat attendants. If that’s how the Fitness Center is attracting business, we’d better expidite closing Cathy Deluca’s playmen before the few remaining businesses pull up stakes!

When asked by a resident at the April 21, 2014, village board meeting: If the unidentified investors don’t take over the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, what will the village do with the equipment that the village of Ravena purchased from Bob Fisk for $40,000? Ravena village board member William “Bill” Bailey simply replies: “We’ll probably auction it.” And likely get ten cents on the dollar for it! Your tax dollars at work, Ravena!

Ravena village trustee Nancy Warner ousted from key positions…No longer supervising her husband’s court operations,  dirty village judge Harold “Hal” Warner. Too bad, Hal, this must mean you might be the one getting a stiff sentence.

But things are looking up when you consider that Nancy Warner is being sidelined and has been demoted. Good news is that she’s no longer supervising her crooked husband’s village court operations. Dirty-Judge Harold “Hal” Warner, Nancy Warner’s husband, will have to deal with another board member supervising his village kangaroo court operations. We’ll be watching to see if there are any improvements or, as we expect, it will be business as usual.

But let’s turn our attention now to the village of Ravena Department of Public Works, the village department that works very hard to avoid working. We recently reported that the village of Ravena Department of Public Works foreman, Henry Traver, has been awarded a more than $11,000 pay raise; he’s now going to make more than $60, 000 a year plus benes! How does the Ravena village board explain that one? Do you have mayor Mouse Misuraca’s telephone number? Give him a call or give one of those talking heads on the village board a call and ask why in hell are they rewarding a dunce?!?

Ravena board to dump more stone on village streets to be washed away …

Well, we also reported how, last year the village of Ravena Department of Public Works under foreman Henry Traver, dumped tons of stone on local Ravena streets, and we warned that it would be washed away or plowed away by spring. Guess what? Central Avenue in Ravena was one of those streets that they covered with the loose stone. Walk along Central Avenue today and you’ll see how our prediction came true. The stone is gone and you can see the old street surface. Your tax dollars at work. But now they’re planning to do the same thing on about a dozen other streets in Ravena. Why are you still reading this? Call Ravena mayor “Mouse” Misuraca and raise some hell!

Ravena storm drains filled to the grill with debris and dirt!

We’ve already reported on the dire condition of the fire hydrants in Ravena-Coeymans and we’re pleased to see that someone’s built a fire under some butts to get them serviced. That’s the good news. But while you’re taking your daily constitutional on the broken streets of Ravena, amuse yourself by the state of the storm drains. We recently surveyed the storm drains on Main Street and a couple of side streets and found that a number of them were filled with debris and dirt to within inches of the grill (see the picture below) !!!

Ravena Storm Drain Filled to the Top with Debris and Dirt!Henry Traver's Supposed to be Maintaining Them

Ravena Storm Drain Filled to the Top with Debris and Dirt!
Henry Traver’s Supposed to be Maintaining Them

We need to ask Ravena mayor “Mouse” Misuraca and his board of sockpuppets Why? are these storm drains in such a deplorable state? These drains must be maintained to keep water from eroding the streets and flooding our homes!!! So, instead of maintaining the storm drains, Henry Traver rides around in circles in the village vehicles, and the Ravena village board gives him an $11, 000 pay raise. Doesn’t Ravena see anything wrong with this picture?

Ravena-Coeymans isn’t alone when it comes to incompetent management of municipal, village and town infrastructure. New Baltimore is on a par or at least running a close second position in terms of incompetence and waste by the Highway Department under the mismanagement of Mr Denis Jordan, who has screwed up the drainage and streets in the Hamlet of New Baltimore to an embarrassing level. If it were Ravena or Coeymans Hamlet we’d be writing that it was a plot by Michael Biscone and Larry Conrad to get the homes condemned so that they could buy them up for a penny. But New Baltimore isn’t that sophisticated; New Baltimore is just incompetent. So if you were to take two dildos, throw them into a bag and shake them up, do you know what you’d get if you emptied the bag? Yup! Two dildos. That’s what we got in Ravena and New Baltimore wrecking our infrastructure and wasting our tax dollars; and they’re dressed up like Henry Traver and Denis Jordan.

The Good News Is….None! The Bad News Is…The Hydrant Still Leaks!

More Waste. More Waste. When will Ravena-Coeymans taxpayers finally wake up?!? We keep rubbing your noses in the bullshit you seem to be blind to, and you still bend over asking for more! What’s the matter with you people?

Shame on the NYS Police in Greene /Columbia County NY. Your're Disappointments!<

We recently reported on the problem with multiple non-working or deficient fire hydrants in the Ravena-Coeymans community and the risk that situation posed to anyone living in the area. The village of Ravena and/or the town of Coeymans regularly read this blog and apparently got the message that they need to move their fat asses and get those fire hydrants working. But, business as usual in Ravena-Coeymans, they sent out crews to “repair” the hydrants but no sooner were they “repaired” than they started leaking! Here’s what a local resident reports to us in an e-mail:

“[expletive] [expletive] [expletive] The one  hydrant you took a picture of…This morn I’m walking the dog, and see village people [village employees]  working on it, and so I walk the dog another street. OK. 15 minutes ago I walk the dog by it [the same fire hydrant] on Railroad Ave, and it’s leaking from top to sides and bottom …….Great repair job Henry[Traver]!”

Hydrant-in-a-Body-Bag You'll find a number of these in and around Ravena; also some that are so rusted they can't be used! Some don't work at all!!!

Hydrant-in-a-Body-Bag

We can’t or won’t print the words we replaced with [expletive] but we think you can guess what the resident had to say. But we do know that there’s a sort of connection between Mr Henry Traver and fire hydrants. Here’s what WNYT published in April 2010: Coeymans Town Supervisor in jail for arson (WNYT, April 2010). And the Albany Times Union also reported the same thing in the article, Coeymans town supervisor faces arson charge (Times Union, April 15, 2010), which reads in part:

“Nearly two years after allegedly torching his house, Town Supervisor Henry Traver was arrested Wednesday on an arson charge that could put him in prison for up to 15 years.
“Town Clerk Diane Millious said Wednesday night she was stunned to learn of Traver’s arrest from a reporter.
“I didn’t know any of this was going on, honest to God,” she said, noting she had seen Traver only a few hours before he was arrested. She estimated that he earns in the neighborhood of $45,000 a year as a part-time supervisor and said he also works for the Highway Department in the village of Ravena. He has held that position for between 15 and 20 years…”

But please note the “allegedly” in the above report. Since Traver’s property was uninsured and that “there was no apparent motive” for the Traver’s burning down the house he was living in, it seems Traver narrowly escaped a felony charge and prison. But that slill leaves the glaring question why a Ravena Highway Department employee and former elected town of Coeymans supervisor would burn his own uninsured house down. But that’s Coeymans for you. (Click this link to go to the TU story, Coeymans town supervisor faces arson charge)

Stop-Trucks-Entering-Exiting-Sign-K-9193orange flagsIt seems that our elected officials are a bunch of morons. Yes, retards. Driving down Rt 144 we see new warning signs and orange flags that weren’t there before the geniuses on the town of Coeymans board decided to let Carver Laraway have his way with this community and ensure his wealth (not ours) by installing the Carver Laraway Memorial Bridge and the creation of Coeymans Industrial Park Lane. Before the corruption…Oops! We meant “construction” of the bridge, there were NO “Trucks” signs and No orange danger flags. It seems that with the town of Coeymans’ approval of the construction of the bridge, the reasoning, and the creation of Coeymans Industrial Park Lane, the town of Coeymans also created, with Carvery Laraway’s greed and money, a new hazard, a new danger for local residents. After all, if the warning signs and flags weren’t there before it would mean that the town of Coeymans was indifferent to a danger to life-and-limb of residents and were just ignorant; otherwise we have to conclude that the danger didn’t exist before but has recently been created. Now that’s good government and competent elected officials for you. Put your constituents at greater risk; it’s for the good of the community.

Be honest! No jobs have been created! Truth be told, Flach and Laraway are killing jobs and opportunities!

Be honest! No jobs have been created! Truth be told, Flach and Laraway are killing jobs and opportunities!

We have a question for Mr Stephen Flach and his band of flying widgets, the Coeymans town board: Can you tell this community how many permanent jobs were created by Carver Laraway’s projects? Let us be a bit clearer: How many permanent jobs were created by the Coeymans Industrial Park and the Port of Coeymans for persons living in the communities of Ravena and Coeymans? How many, Mr Flach? How many Mr Misuraca, mayor of the village of Ravena?

And here’s one for those morons who keep repeating that Cathy Deluca’s playpen, the moneypit Ravena Health and Fitness Center, is good for the community, that it brings outside persons to the area and to the local businesses. OK. Let’s ask Mr Aaron Flach, nephew of Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach, how many jobs he’s created. Take for an example Flach’s laundromat and car wash on 9W, in the village of Ravena. Well Mr Flach, let us ask you this:

  • Now that you’ve closed the only dry cleaning establishment in Ravena-Coeymans, where do you think the dry cleaning business is going? Answer: to Glenmont and to Coxsackie. Nothing comparable in Ravena-Coeymans.
  • And, Mr Flach, what about the people you previously employed in the dry-cleaning business. Are they out on the street or did you create jobs for them elsewhere? Or did Carver Laraway hire them/
  • And, Mr Flach, what about the people who worked in the laundromat assisting patrons and trouble-shooting problems that occurred there. They’ve disappeared, too, Mr Flach. Now if you have a malfunctioning machine or another problem in the Flach laundromat you’re up shit creek without a paddle. But Aaron Flach still empties the coin boxes and turns a blind eye to his patrons. Business as usual in Flachville. The same level of service locals get from Ravena village hall and Coeymans town hall. Business as usual.
  • And, Mr Flach, when you did have employees to assist your customers, when your stone-age car wash malfunctioned or ate someone’s money, there were once attendants in the dry-cleaners who could help. Now what? Business as usual. Right Mr Flach?

So there you have it: Village of Ravena baboons wasting taxpayer money playing catch-up botching up the fire hydrant repairs. We’ve quoted the local morons (as reported by Bryan Rowzee in the Ravena News Herald) who claim that a failing business, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, and its crook manager, Cathy Deluca, benefit the community because they bring people from elsewhere to Ravena to support local business. But then we have local businessman Carver Laraway and the town of Coeymans board claiming to create jobs but that’s just a smoke screen, they’ve created nothing but new hazards; and we have Mr Aaron Flach actually firing people and downsizing while downgrading services to the local community.

Now we’re not suggesting that a business owner doesn’t have the right to do what he likes with his business but we are suggesting that if a business owner is hurting the community or its residents, he needs to be set right. We’re also suggesting that those who think that Ravena-Coeymans is attracting so many visitors to the local businesses because of losers like the Ravena Health and Fitness Center should take a course in math. They should also shut their mouths and open their eyes to reality of the economic situation in Ravena-Coeymans. Aaron Flach and the phoney jobs offered by Carver Laraway are just two examples of the scandalous practices in Ravena-Coeymans.

Hasn’t anyone else noticed any of this? Mr Bryan Rowzee, local reporter who’s supposed to be covering and reporting on events in Ravena-Coeymans for the Johnson Newspaper Group, publishers of the Ravena News Herald, seems to be sound asleep when it comes to anything newsworthy; seems all he can do his make nice-nice as an insider at the Ravena-Coeymans love fest! The Ravena News Herald is just a propaganda mill that some suckers are still paying $1 to read lies and fantasy reports.

Waste! Waste! Waste! When will it stop?

That’s a question we really have to start asking ourselves and soon! Better yet, let’s find some guts, neighbors, and stand up and kick some elected-official ass at a public village of Ravena, Town of Coeymans and/or Town of New Baltimore public meeting.

They even managed to miss the potholes and get some on the sidewalk! Good for your carpets!

Several months ago we reported on roadwork being done on Rt 144 under the Lafarge conveyor track. That work done by the New York State Department of Transportation was so shoddy that the road was worse after than it was before the work. They had to come back and redo it. Taxpayer dollars wasted!

We also reported on the Misuraca dodos paving several streets in Ravena with loose stone that was everywhere but in the streets. Now the streets are still a mess and tens of thousands of Ravena taxpayer dollars are either on the local lawns, in your carpets, down the sewers, everywhere but on the streets. Taxpayer dollars wasted!

This is what New York State, the village of Ravena, an the Town of Coeymans are doing with your money!!!

This is what New York State, the village of Ravena, an the Town of Coeymans are doing with your money!!!

We have regularly reported on the Town of New Baltimore’s Highway Department’s pack of baboons going up and down New Baltimore streets and road shoveling steaming hot-patch or blacktop into water-filled potholes, or into potholes and leaving it to be washed away or stuck under your car but not doing much for the pothole problem in New Baltimore. We won’t even remind you of the mind-boggling storn drain work that collects everything but water in the National Historic District. Well, that’s what you get when you hire monkeys. Taxpayer dollars wasted!

On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, a contributor to this blog was driving down Main Street, Ravena at about 3:30-4:00 p.m., and noted two large New York State Department of Transportation trucks and a crew of about 7 persons filling potholes. There was a pick-up truck, too, with a large digital sign reading “Road Work Ahead.” That’s nice, you’d think. Well, according to our contributor, it gets better.

Didn't even bother to pat it down with a shovel!

Didn’t even bother to pat it down with a shovel!

“That’s what they told us to do.”

Slowing down enough to see what the crew was doing sent the observer over the edge. It was so disturbing that he turned around and confronted the crew: “What is it you are doing? Don’t you know that’s not going to last 5 minutes. Can’t the state of New York provide you guys with a tamper to keep that stuff down?” You see, the “work” crew was simply throwing shovel-fulls of blacktop or cold-patch into the holes and leaving it!!! Not even a pat with a shovel!!! It was strewn all over the place.

Well, what was even more annoying was the response the observer got. Not only did the fools just stand there with idiotic grins on their sagging faces but one even responded, “That’s what they told us to do.” Without waiting around to find out who the “they” might be, the observer took the pictures that appear in this post.

The blacktop will be gone in a couple of hours but the potholes will still be there.

So, New York State taxpayers, that’s where your dollars are going: Two huge trucks, two huge trucks burning fuel, loads of blacktop, seven (7) or more dildos either standing around or throwing shovels full of loose blacktop into potholes and leaving it there, loose. How much do you think that operation is costing us? Taxpayer dollars wasted! The blacktop will be gone in a couple of hours but the potholes will still be there.

And Where are the supervisors?

One glaring question is this: Where are the supervisors who are supposed to be ensuring that the job gets done right? Well, they’re the ones standing with the blank look on their face playing pocket-pool and dreaming of what they’re going to do with their hefty pensions they’ll be collecting for standing there with a blank look on their faces while playing pocket-pool. And what about our town and village highway superintendents? Shouldn’t they be on hand while this work is going on in their jurisdictions? Isn’t it their responsibilities to ensure the work is done right on village and hamlet streets? Why not ask them?  Well Mr Flach, Mr Misuraca, Mr Dellisanti? Where are the supervisors?

Who is doing the animal control stuff while Mr Tanner is doing his other job?

barking_dog

And who is doing Mr Tanner’s Job when Mr Jeff Ruso is at his other job and Mr Dellisanti is, well, elsewhere?

funny-dogs-barkingNow, New Baltimore taxpayers. Here’s one for you to choke on: One of the NYSDOT laborers who was among the crew doing the make-believe roadwork in Ravena was none other than the New Baltimore town animal control officer, Mr Joe Tanner. In fact, Mr Tanner recognized the observer and courteously said hello. That was nice. But it raised another question we’d like to ask the New Baltimore town board and perhaps New Baltimore taxpayers might want to ask the same question. If Mr Tanner is employed full-time by the New York State Department of Transportation, and if Mr Tanner is out with road crews doing what they appear to be doing — wasting taxpayer dollars now while accruing pension benefits besides — who is doing the animal control stuff while Mr Tanner is doing his other job? Or does Mr Tanner have a special arrangement with the New York State Department of Transportation to take off when there’s an animal problem in New Baltimore? Or does New Baltimore schedule its animal emergencies for when Mr Tanner is off or after he finishes his state job? Given this situation, it’s no wonder that a barking-dog nuissance in the hamlet of New Baltimore can go on for literally years and the town of New Baltimore supervisor, Mr Nick Dellisanti, and town boardmember and animal control liaison, Mr Jeff Ruso, can’t seem to get a handle on it and put a muzzle on the beast. Since Mr Tanner is off doing his state job and Mr Russo is off managing his nursing home, that doesn’t leave much animal control in New Baltimore, does it? In response to requests for assistance Mr Tanner simply responds, “Sign a complaint,” because it’s impossible for him to investigate because he’s on a road crew somewhere else. Mr Russo stays silent because he’s off in Guilderland or somewhere at his office. And Mr Dellisanti? Well, he inspects the parks on Sundays and drives by the dog’s owner’s house. Taxpayer dollars wasted!

New Baltimore Taxpayers Sucked In Again by Teachers-Union-Owned-and-Operated RCS Board of Education

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District and its Board of Education manipulated the timing and the vote to again shortchange RCS taxpayers and deprive them of their votes when, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, they pushed the vote on two proposals totaling and additional $30 million in tax burden on an already faltering tax base. So, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Social Services Recipients and Friends of New York State United Teachers, the Teachers-Union-Owned-and-Operated Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District approved an additional $30 Million dollars in indirect tax assessment they’re calling “Capital Improvement” for the RCS Schools. Let’s watch and see who gets the contracts for the so-called “capital improvements.”

New Baltimore Taxpayers Sucked In Again

taxation without representation

May be business as usual in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk but New Baltimore doesn’t have to put up with it! Or do we?

We have just one question: When will the Town of New Baltimore smarten up and leave the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District, a failing group of schools with a corrupt board of education under a corrupt superintendent and move on to join the Greene County success story? When will the Town of New Baltimore town board finally get its act together and take the necessary steps to ensure that New Baltimore taxpayers are not playing the fool for a failing district that knows no bounds when it comes to spending and taxation. The RCS district is losing tax base a mile-a-minute and attracting non-taxpaying population. More properties are either going up for sale, being abandoned, or vacant in the case of commercial properties with more of the tax burden falling on Guess Who?!?!

Ravena has enough money to allow Cathy Deluca’s unlawful and failing Ravena Health and Fitness Center to continue losing taxpayer dollars to the tune of more than $6000 a month, and the town of Coeymans can give half the town away in concessions to carpetbagger business with nothing in return. But can New Baltimore continue to pay for Raven-Coeyman’s debauchery and free-wheeling spending addictions? We say NO!

How Morally Depraved Can Cathy Deluca, Misuraca’s Village Board, Be?

deadhorseWill Misuraca and his Mooselets on the Ravena village council ever wake up? At the November 18, 2014, public meeting that had all of six people attending (at least 3 of them village employees) here’s what you would have heard: No one seems to have gotten a monthly report from Cathy Deluca on the Fitness Center. Misuraca, Warner looking stupid and having to admit no one got a report (while village council member Joel Coye sits chewing and picking his nose on camera! What’s he chewing? Yuck!). But Nancy Warner announced that the Fitness Center is planning to send out brochures to attempt to get members! IDIOTS! It’s almost two years and the Ravena Health and Fitness Center is still FAILING! Wake up! Smell the coffee (or the bullshit, which is getting pretty strong)! But you’re still beating the dead horse! How long is Misuraca and his crew going to let this thing go on? Late November, just before the Winter holidays is no time to be sending out brochures for a fitness club! Go figure! They put the “R” in RETARDS!

Several weeks have passed since the Ravena News Herald printed their article on the fact that Cathy Deluca’s playpen, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, has been hemorrhaging more than $6,000 a month of Ravena taxpayers’, property-owners’ dollars. But that’s where it all stopped, it seems. Our question is:

How Morally Depraved is Cathy Deluca and Ravena Mayor William Misuraca’s Village Board?

MORAL DEPRAVITY HAS A HOME IN RAVENA

MORAL DEPRAVITY HAS A HOME IN RAVENA
And it sits on the Ravena village council and runs the Ravena Health and Fitness Center

This blog has been exposing the corruption and criminality surrounding the creation of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center and the corrupt and criminal way that the Bruno-Warner village board lied their way into creating a non-competitive civil service position for Cathy Deluca. The fact that Bruno and Warner did everything they could to ensure that their appointee, Deluca, got the position and no one else even had a chance at it was no big deal to expose. We did it right here and we embarrassed the Albany Department of Civil Service and Albany County into giving the director of the Albany Department the boot. But Ravena has no pride and no morals so Cathy Deluca got the position, got the exempt non-competitive classification, she even “Interneted” her credentials (unqualified but receiving her salary at YOUR expense), still bamboozling the Civil Service morons into allowing her to keep the position. If you or I tried even half of that sort of criminal lying and fraudulent misrepresentation, we’d be in Albany County jail — or worse — but Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca and Gregory Darlington go Scott free and can collect fat pensions at our expense while Cathy Deluca pockets more than $30,000 a year in salary plus full benefits to waste $6,000 a month of Ravena taxpayers’ dollars! Doesn’t anyone see what’s wrong with this picture?!?

Cathy Deluca even lied her way out of criminal proceedings when here husband, Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca, then still with the Coeymans police department, bullied Coeymans police officer Jason Albert, with the blessing of then police chief Gregory “Dumplington” Darlington, into burying the investigation of Cathy Deluca’s misdemeanor lying to a police officer, when she tried to fraudulently incriminate a local resident! That was a misdemeanor on Cathy Deluca’s part, and obstruction of justice by Darlington and his sockpuppet Jason Albert but Darlington got to “retire” (in lieu of prosecution? Will Darlington’s wife, Leah Darlington, a secretary in race-card-player Albany County DA David Soares‘ office type out the warrant?) and Albert got an “attaboy” promotion to detective! So much for respect for the laws of this state and nation: The biggest criminals are the law enforcement officers and their spouses! But with a new police chief and pressure from the community, not to mention literally dozens of unresolved complaints and pending lawsuits against the Coeymans p.d. and individual officers, justice may still be served. Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks, months.

Our stats show that Leah Darlington or someone in the Albany County District Attorney’s office is spending taxpayer dollars wisely: between November 16 and November 19, that person visited this blog 68 times, spending several hours total here! Thank you! Albany County DA P. David Soares, for hiring a Darlington to misuse taxpayer money!

But even if you don’t take the time to search this blog and re-read the many articles we’ve written for you exposing the Delucas, the Warners, the Darlingtons, the Coeymans police department’s obstruction of justice and other civil violations and criminal acts and negligence, you can’t overlook the fact that at least SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS are being wasted every month, and neither Cathy Deluca nor the Ravena Village Board have the decency to put a stop to it.

Who can deny the glaring facts that:

Mayor "Moose" Misuraca thought he was getting this...

Mayor “Moose” Misuraca thought he was getting this...

  • Cathy Deluca to Nancy Warner: Do this! The Moose loves it!

    BUT he got this, instead!
(Cathy Deluca to Nancy Warner: Do this! The “Moose” loves it!)

Cathy Deluca was personally selected by former mayor John Bruno and his sidekick Nancy Warner to have the Ravena Health and Fitness Center. Hasn’t anyone asked what favors were being repaid by Bruno and Warner? Why no one else, maybe someone qualified, was given the opportunity to apply — even if it would be hopeless?

  • Why did former mayor John Bruno and village trustee Nancy Warner conspire to not only hand Cathy Deluca the position as manager of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, but went to extraordinary trouble to fabricate an application made to the Albany County Civil Service Department — the application was incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent — to get her a non-competitive classification, exempt from any examination, full benefits, etc.
  • Cathy Deluca knew then and still knows that she’s killed two private health and fitness clubs before she was handed the Ravena Health and Fitness Center but she still took the opportunity to prove she could kill yet another one. Don’t any of you think that that is morally depraved? Criminal on Deluca’s part, to knowingly take a position she knew she couldn’t handle and now, after two years of screwing around, is proving she can kill yet another business, this time one belonging to the public.
  • Don’t you think it’s morally depraved of Ravena Mayor William “Moose” Misuraca, and his Ravena village council, to allow this to go on without finally putting a stop to it? They even admitted publicly that if a business were losing that kind of money that any sensible and responsible manager would shut it down. Why hasn’t Mayor William Misuraca and his village council morons locked the doors on the Ravena Health and Fitness Center?

And Why Haven’t Any of these Crooks and Frauds been Charged, Prosecuted, Punished?

Maybe Ravena Mayor William “Moose” Misuraca, the director of the Albany County Department of Civil Service John Marsolais, Coeymans police chief Peter J. McKenna, or Albany County DA P. David Soares can offer a satisfactory explanation for that burning question!

But the worst shame and blame still falls on Cathy Deluca’s head! She knows shes stealing taxpayer money. She knows she’s unqualified to make the Ravena playpen work. She knows that Ravena can’t sustain a business that can’t compete. She knows that the village of Ravena should not be running a business that can’t compete. But she has no morals! She has no ethics! She has only her sow’s belly full of greed! Her only objective is to take as much as she can suck out of this community and then…STOP HER IN HER DIRTY TRACKS!

And do you wonder for a second why Annette Demitraszek and Kristine Biernacki, Bruno appointees and Warner sock-puppets, who are supposed to be village clerks and public servants, refuse to respond to any demand under the New York State Freedom of Information Law by refusing to provide public access information, information that the public has a right to know, about the Ravena Health and Fitness Center? If they let the information out they feel they’ll all land in jail! Unless they disclose the information, there’s a Notice of Claim waiting to be served, and a lawsuit waiting to be filed. They may all have a date with the corrections system before this is over!

Ravena needs a Health and Fitness Center like a Bull Needs Tits!
