Shyster Meets Psycho: Brendan Baynes and Zachary Stahlman a.k.a. Fat Cat Antiques

UPDATE

We chose to dig a bit deeper into this case and had a contributor review the digital recording of the trial proceedings at which Zachary Stahlman made a complete ass of himself and the court. Luckily for Lee Davis, the idiot town justice presiding over the three-ring circus called a trial, was not re-elected. If he had been we would pursue a formal complaint before the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct to have him censured and removed from the bench! But back to Stahlman…

According to the trial recording, Zachary Stahlman states under oath that his father, Charles “Chuck” Stahlman, returned the keys to a lease property after  sonny-boy Zach Stahlman broke the lease. Charles Stahlman returned the keys accompanied by a New York State Trooper. Zachary Stahlman states in his testimony under oath  — not that an oath means anything to a Stahlman — what sounds like “My father is friends with the State Trooper.” Here we have a guy who is apprehended passing counterfeit $10 and $20 bills to purchase furniture for his antiques business (Fat Cat Antiques), arrested by the New York State Troopers, arraigned in court for passing funny money, and now his son admits under oath that his dear ole dad is “friends with the state trooper[s]” ?!? By the way, what happened to the case against Stahlman Sr. for passing the funny money? Did that go away, too?

Now, does that help to explain why the investigations for theft of dealer plates and drive-by shootings might have gone cold and no arrests were made? Does this mean that if you are friends with a New York State Trooper or with the troopers, that you can do anything, including pass funny money, steal dealer plates, shoot at people in their offices, and, despite contradictory testimony and clear breach of contract, win a court case?

Now, it’s important that our readers understand that we are not judging the Stahlmans nor are we suggesting that they are guilty of any of the crimes that were under investigation and allowed to go cold by everyone from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department to the Coeymans Police Department, to the Albany County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Troopers (who refused to investigate), and the Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares, who definitely had a say in the matters, but we are posing some very interesting questions after the review of the trial recordings.

Our slogan is this: After the first lie all the rest is a lie.

The Shyster

Our research shows that Brendan Baynes is not entirely honest, if not an outright liar. He misrepresents his practice and is a bit of a moron, besides.

“Tubbs” Baynes’ Nemesis
Did Michael Biscone tell Baynes to get out of town?

Up until recently, that is, up until a meeting with Michael “Tubbs” Biscone in a local diner, Baynes had an office in Ravena, New York, on 130 Main Street. That was changed after the meeting with “Tubbs” Biscone, when Baynes’ shingle disappeared from 130 Main Street. Here’s why Baynes is a moron: Anyone who would open a law office in Ravena almost directly across from the law office of one of the biggest (hence, “Tubbs”) shysters in Albany County has to be stupid. Furthermore, anyone who opens an office in Ravena, home to the Biscone family of shysters and major members of the Ravena Incest Club (Biscones related to the Brunos related to the Persicos, etc.) has to be stupid.

Brenden Baynes and his special version of corruption: Corruption of the Law…

When Carmen Warner was fired from the Albany District Attorney’s office for misconduct, it was Michael “Tubbs” Biscone who took her in, no doubt to give the freak a job but also to forge an alliance with Ravena Village Hall, where Carmen’s mother, Nancy Biscone — OOPS! We meant Warner — is a “trustee” and a witch-on-a-stick and Carmen’s father, Ravena village justice Harold “Hal” Warner, Albany ex-cop, taken off the street for misconduct, and the very Hal Warner who stabbed Phil Crandall, then a part-time Ravena village justice and full-time Coeymans town justice, forcing him to resign in disgrace, work their corruption. The Ravena Incest Club does take care of its own. But let’s get back to Brenden Baynes and his special version of corruption: Corruption of the Law.

It seems moron Baynes tried to carve into Biscone’s territory; that’s a definite No! NO! The Biscones have had a choke hold on Ravena for at least two generations and they have no intention of sharing with anyone. So Baynes is sent scurrying with his furry rat tail between his legs.

Baynes seems to be a bit uncertain where he’s located…

Baynes left Ravena in a hurry and set up his practice across the county line, in Greene County, in the Town of New Baltimore. He now occupies what appears to be a repurposed chicken house or something similar, and it appears to be deserted at all times, at least every time we’ve stopped by to check it out. Yes, my gullible friends and neighbors, Brendan Baynes Esq. has his office in Greene County, not Albany County, and in the Town of New Baltimore, not in Ravena. He’s a damned phoney liar, a fraud.

Baynes Law Firm Chicken Coop Office on Rt 9W, New Baltimore

Baynes seems to be a bit uncertain where he’s located because he still uses a Ravena address, despite the fact that he’s more than a mile away in Greene County and nowhere near Ravena. So why is it that Mr. Baynes is trying to make the impression he’s in Ravena when he’s not even in Albany County? If he’s not aware of that fact, he’s got some big problems. If he is aware of that fact he’s got a bigger problem: he’s a liar.

Baynes is a bit shaky on how many years he’s been practicing …

Baynes not only uses the Ravena address, which is phoney, he also uses the Rt 9W New Baltimore address as a Ravena address, which is also phoney. What would you expect from a phoney?

130 Main St in Ravena is occupied by Alexander Varga CPA and Anatriello Insurance LLC. Not by Brendan Baynes! Baynes gives this address in some of his online ads.

Baynes not only doesn’t know where his offices are located he’s a bit shaky on how many years he’s been practicing his bizarre kind of law. On some of his advertising you see 15 years, 25 years, 28 years, even 31 years, so there’s quite a lot of questions about Mr. Baynes’ math, too.

Bozo Baynes

Forget the “team” in his hyped ads Baynes is a team of one.

We are also concerned about Bayne’s mental state. You see, he refers on his website using “our team,” “we,” and similar language that would give you the impression that he has a whole menagerie of sharks in his practice. Well, our inquiries show that he’s a loner. Yes, it’s just him. Forget the “team” it’s a team of one. [Editor’s Note: A contributor has written to Baynes asking for the names of his partners, his team members. As of this writing Baynes has not responded.]

Baynes also says his practice includes personal injury, commercial law, estates, medical malpractice, traffic and tickets, trial law. That’s quite a lot of specialization for one guy and it’s all crappola! He’s listed as a “general practice” attorney. That’s all. We think he’s misrepresenting himself. In fact, if you Google Baynes the first hit that comes up is “traffic tickets,” “speeding tickets!”

A reader recently contacted Baynes after seeing his sign and reading his misrepresentations because the reader wanted an attorney who could work on a case against a local municipality, a case of property damage.

Here’s his response:

“Unfortunately, I am not interested in a property damage claim against a municipality as I am very busy pursuing multiple complex litigation matters and cannot take on what would be sure to be a significant devotion of time and effort to your friends case.”

Nobody seems to be pursuing Brendan Baynes for his expert legal advice…

No, Mr. Brenden Baynes was too busy defending traffic violations and speeding tickets. Easy money and totally no-brainers: no-brainer attorney, no-brainer client, no-brainer court. He may be “pursuing multiple complex litigation matters” — maybe that’s lawyer-speak for ambulance chasing — but his parking lot is empty, and there’s a CLOSED sign on his chicken-coop office door; nobody seems to be pursuing Brendan Baynes for his expert legal advice, except maybe Zachary Stahlman and Fat Cat Antiques, a.k.a.

The Psycho

Most of our readers will recall our articles about the Stahlmans, Zachary and his father Charles, of Fat Cat Antiques (Glenmont) associated with Stahlman’s Fat Cat Transport in Coeymans Hollow, NY. The father, Charles Stahlman, has a reputation for shady used car deals and for passing counterfeit $20.00 bills to buy used furniture for his so-called “antique” (= junk) business, Fat Cat Antiques.

Maybe that’s what Zachary Stahlman and his daddy Chuck Stahlman are using to pay Brendan Baynes, Esq., counterfeit $10 and $20 bills. Baynes is likely stupid enough to take them and run…maybe Michael Biscone will take them and launder them for Baynes for a hefty fee.

Zachary Stahlman

State Police apprehended the elder Stahlman when it was discovered he was passing counterfeit $10 and $20 bills to purchase used furniture for resale at his Fat Cat Antiques business. Stahlman was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court, released on $10,000 bail, and went to court on December 6, 2017. Apparently nothing happened. So our question was always, “What happened?” [Cops: Man bought furniture with fake cash and Troopers: Man uses fake money at estate sale).

[Editor’s Note: You can’t make this stuff up. Fat Cat Antiques registered address is listed as: Fat Cat Transport LLC,476 Shady Lane, Coeymans Hollow, NY 12046. They even have “shady” in their address!!!]

We can only think that he turned state’s evidence or is an informer. Anyone else would be doing some sort of time for circulating funny money. What do you think?

Well, as it happens, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and his son’s, that is, Zachary Stahlman’s criminal history includes traffic violations and he was a suspect in a drive-by shooting and possibly other crimes in Coeymans and New Baltimore. He also likes to play major victim and violate contracts like commercial leases etc. Watch out for baby Neanderthal; he’s following in daddy Neanderthal’s footsteps.

We covered all of these stories in our articles: Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? (2017/01/31); Let’s Get Back to Exposing Local Dysfunctional Government (2017/04/24); Local Law Enforcement Might Need Some Help with the Math: 2 + 2 = Stahlman! (2017/02/05).

The younger Stahlman, Zachary, entered into a lease with a local landlord to open a so-called flea market and then broke the lease and sued the landlords for the return of the security deposit, which was paid by his father, Charles. Whether Charles Stahlman used counterfeit $10 and $20 to pay the security is uncertain.

Brendan “Bozo” Baynes

Well, when the landlord refused to return the security deposit for multiple violations of the lease term because Stahlman cooked up code violations, gave a couple of days notice, and abandoned the commercial property he occupied as Fat Cat Antiques, never heating it or complying with numerous other terms of the lease, Stahlman had the balls to ask for his security deposit back and later sued in New Baltimore Town Court.

The case was heard by ex-judge Lee Davis, who admitted that he had no experience in commercial leases, but heard the case anyway, deciding in favor of Stahlman despite the clear provisions of the lease contract.[1] The landlords appealed without an attorney (BIG MISTAKE) and the appeal was rejected.

The Greene County Court before which the appeal was brought found that there was no error in law. Former Greene County Court judge Terry Wilhelm, formerly the Greene County District Attorney, decided the appeal but never notified the parties. (His clerk took the blame for this serious oversight.)

Since Lee Davis was such a failure and disappointment as New Baltimore Town Justice — he was voted out of office after only one term —, the case was returned to New Baltimore but now before New Baltimore town justice Joseph Farrell, who sympathized with the landlords and was at a loss how the matter could have been so mishandled, but he inherited the case and that was that.

Zachary Stahlman then proceeded to take things into his own hands and started not only harassing the landlords during the appeal process but even served demands for payment on the landlords’ other tenants, using the Albany County Sheriff’s Department to do his unlawful dirty work.

Oh, did we mention that Zachary Stahlman was a suspect in the Coeymans drive-by shooting and in the theft of the landlord’s dealer plates? Again the cases went cold, and the investigations closed. Why is that? Cold-Case Coeymans Police Department and Cold-Case Greene County Sheriff’s Department; see our articles above. Taxpayers pay for law enforcement and all law enforcement can manage is to be Albany and Greene Counties’ major supporters of Dunkin Donuts and Cumberland Farms, not to mention a major threat to local wildlife (see our article on the Coon-Killer Cops of Coeymans, and our several follow-up articles on the incident.)

Zacchary Stahlman’s harassment now continues through his new attorney, Brendan Baynes.

Charles Stahlman
Police Mug Shot

We should remark at this point that several months ago, Charles Stahlman wrote to this blog begging us to remove the posts mentioning his son, saying, that his son was ‘unable to work, was “fragile,” that he “loves his son and would do anything for him.” Our response was that if his son was so fragile, how is it that he can harass hard-working people, who, unlike Zachary Stahlman, break their backs working only to be taken advantage of by people like Zachary Stahlman, who then furthers the abuse by dragging them in front of an incompetent town justice, Lee Davis, to further abuse them. Furthermore, if he, Charles Stahlman, “loves” his son and would “do anything for him,” why didn’t he teach him to obey the law, to act like a civilized human being, and to conduct his business honestly. We can understand a parent’s concern for their offspring but Mr. Charles Stahlman’s conduct is anything but good example and his son’s, Zacchary’s, conduct is not much better.

Shyster Meets Psycho

So now we have a situation where Psycho meets Schyster: fragile, socially-aberrant Zacchary Stahlman (But can you blame the kid, considering his background?), probably still unemployed, still harassing others, the shining apple of his criminal father’s eye, now commissions a failed two-bit shyster, Brendan Baynes of somewhere between Albany County and Greene County but definitely not Ravena, New York, an expert in all legal specialized practice but who prefers to handle speeding tickets; a member of a team of law professionals consisting of one shyster, Brendan Baynes, who practices from a repurposed chicken coop that appears never to be open. Baynes who had the audacity to open an office just across the street from the arch-shyster of Ravena, Michael “Tubbs” Biscone, just blocks away from Tubbs’ brother John and niece Sarah Biscone, only to be forced out of Ravena to Greene county where he now appears to be practicing from what appears to be a repurposed chicken coop.

Bozo Baynes certainly isn’t working for nothing even if he is forced to practice from low-rent digs

Well, if psycho Zach Stahlman doesn’t know when to stop, “fragile” as his counterfeit-passing dad claims he is, and “unable to work” as his wheeling and dealing dad claims he is, then it must be the junk shop Fat Cat Antiques that is financing the harassment. Bozo Baynes certainly isn’t working for nothing even if he is forced to practice from low-rent digs.

Bozo Baynes would stoop to anything to make the rent on his chicken coop office.

Bozo Baynes, hot-shot attorney that he is, apparently has taken time out of his busy schedule of “pursuing multiple complex litigation matters” to take on two-bit Zach Stahlman’s case, chasing after about $200 in interest and fees which the County Court told them they couldn’t have! – Gosh! Those traffic tickets and DWIs sure are complex litigation matters, aren’t they, Brendan?

But we have to ask the question why a fraud like Bozo Baynes would leave his “complex litigation matters,” that is, his speeding ticked business, to take on a case that’s worth, well, pennies? Is he that hard up for real work? What’s the deal people?

Zach Stahlman is an angry sociopath who just won’t let things go.

Greene County Court Judge, former DA, Terry Wilhelm

But wait a minute! Didn’t we just say that Zach Stahlman and Fat Cat Antiques (Charles Stahlman) don’t have a case! The case was decided, appealed, and the appeal was decided. But not according to Bozo Baynes, the legal genius who thinks the former DA and now county judge Terry Wilhelm have made a mistake and should reverse their decisions regarding interest and fees. You see Bozo Baynes would stoop to anything to make the rent on his chicken coop and “fragile” Zach Stahlman is an angry sociopath who just won’t let things go.

So “fragile” Zach or more likely counterfeit-fan Charles Stahlman hire Bozo Baynes to tell the court that Baynes thinks they don’t know what they are doing, and that the Stahlman and Baynes know more about the law than the county court judge does. The filed a motion with the County Court to allow re-argument of the court’s decision as if the court should start trembling in fear and awe of Bozo Baynes and “fragile” Zach Stahlman.

Our advice to “fragile” Zach is get some psychotherapy. Our advice to Bozo Baynes is get a real job. Our advice to county court judge Terry Wilhelm is to stand by his decision and tell both Stahlman (Fat Cat Antiques) and Baynes to take a long walk off a short pier. Don’t worry about the sharks, though, they have more sense than to consume garbage.

We would also recommend that the Greene County DA, Joseph Stanzione, review Brendan Baynes conduct and recommend that the 3rd Judicial District, Professional Conduct Committee discipline Baynes his shoddy conduct, abuse of judicial process, and unethical business practices by taking advantage of poor “fragile” Zachary Stahlman and failing to consider his background and sociopathic condition.

Do you think the Stahlmans will be organizing another drive-by shooting after reading this article?

[1] Lee Davis was such a failure his own brother, Harry, threw him in by reporting his history to this blog. We investigated and published our findings in our article Double-Standard Davis: Asking New Baltimore for another Term as Town Justice?.

Where have all the children gone…The Bruno-Warner Legacy.

Pete Seeger’s 1955 song “Where have all the flowers gone?”
could easily be written for Ravena with the title
“Where have all the children gone?”
(To the Tune of “Where has all the $Money$ Gone?”)

Ravena mayor John Bruno and Ravena village trustee Nancy Warner have done their black magic with the help of village trusteee and RCS social studies teacher, failed politician, Martin “Marty” Case, and village trustee, failed school psychologist, Rocco Persico, backed up by village trustee ding-a-ling dodo William “Bill” Bailey.

Election Day PinkSlip

Make the Change:
Remove Mayor John Bruno and His Mob!

Bruno and Warner wanted the Ravena-Coeymans Youth and Teen Activity Center to disappear and so they sent the message to property owner Robert “Bob” Fisk that they, Bruno and Warner, didn’t want Fisk, also a member of the Ravena incest club (a Persico on his mother’s side), to renew the lease. Josephine “Josie” Biscone-Bruno of Prudential Real Estate* (Marty Case also moonlights there), who brokered the lease with the founder of the RC Teen Center, played her part beautifully and got her commission, while the whole Bruno mob screwed philanthropist Michael Fisher royally.

[* Caution: Where you see a Prudential Real Estate (“Pudendal Real Estate”) sign in Ravena, you can bet that the Ravena Incest Club (Bruno, Biscone, Persico, Albano, Deluca, Warner) is involved. Stay clear!]

So now, the property at 171 Main Street Ravena, once filled with happy teens dancing and staying out of trouble is now just another ugly distressed property on Main Street. Empty, ugly, distressed, just what Ravena Mayor John Bruno and his hatchet woman Nancy Warner wanted. After all, What Bruno and Warner want in Ravena, Bruno and Warner get…and Michael Biscone get paid, everyone else get’s screwed.

But you might want to ask: Where the 100 or so teens have gone, who once filled the Teen Center? You might want to ask Ravena mayor Bruno and his witch-on-a-stick, Nancy Warner, and teacher Marty Case, school psychologist Rocco Persico, and Bill Baily where the kids are and what they’re doing? You might want to ask the Bruno mob what they’ve done to provide the teens with a place to go, be safe, out of trouble, off the streets? Don’t bother. You already know the answer: NOTHING!

So the Village of Ravena New Year 2014 Greeting
To all Ravena Coeymans Selkirk Youth and Teens is this:

RCTC narrow

171 Main Street, Ravena: The John Bruno Nancy Warner, Marty Case, Rocco Persico, Bill Bailey legacy: Empty, Ugly, Distressed!
They’d rather have the local youth and teens on the street than enjoying themselves in a safe, supervised environment.
Thank You! Mayor Bruno and Village of Ravena! Happy New Year!
(Hopefully your Last)

John T. Bruno apparently plans to die in office. He’s decided to run again for mayor of Ravena in 2014. He’s already made Ravena a wasteland, lies like a rug, when the shit hits the fan his stock response is “I ddn’t know”, and surrounds himself with a bunch of dildos who are Bruno-extensions. Ravena, the town of Coeymans doesn’t need a senile mummy to trip up anything positive in Ravena. Bruno is there because the crooks want him there. He’s there because the behind-the-scenes crooks can steal everything worth stealing in Ravena by going through Bruno’s corrupt village hall. Mayor John Bruno and convicted state senator Joe Bruno have a lot in common; they both like to take control and they’re both frauds.

Bruno’s got a reputation of being a pathological liar and a behind-closed-doors dealmaker. Take the Ravena Health and Fitness Center for an example. The most recent Bruno fiasco is the CSX takeover! Can you imagine the mayor of a village claiming he didn’t know what was happening when CSX started cutting down residents’ trees and invading Ravena neighborhoods? John T. Bruno thinks everyone is as stupid as the village employees he hands out village jobs to, in order to get votes. Let’s hope the next mayor cleans up village hall!

Get the Brunos, Biscones, Persicos, Warners, Delucas out of local government and jump-start progress in the village of Ravena!

Our 2014 New Year’s Wish for the Village of Ravena: Clean, Honest, Local Government.
(But you won’t have it with Bruno and his mob in village Hall!)

 2014 Resolutions:

  1. Eliminate the Bruno Machine in Ravena.
  2. Eliminate the Coeymans Police Department.
  3. Pursue and Prosecute Obstruction of Justic and Corruption Charges against Coeymans Police Chief Gregory Darlington and his Associates in the Coeymans Police Department.

Investigation of Michael Biscone, attorney, and his dealings with the village of Ravena and the town of Coeymans; Investigation and Discipline of Biscone by the New York State Unified Court System, 3rd Appellate Department, Committee on Professional Standards for Alleged Misconduct  as an Attorney.

John Bruno, Nancy Warner, Martin Case, Rocco Persico, Bill Bailey and Cathy Deluca.
  8. Demand an In-depth Investigation by the Office of the NYS Comptroller and

  9. Demand an In-depth Investigation by the Office of the NYS Comptroller and
the New York State Attorney General of the Operations of the Coeymans Police Department.
  10. Demand Investigation & Prosecution by the New York State Attorney General of
John Bruno, Nancy Warner, Martin Case, Rocco Persico, Willaim Bailey, Catherine & Gerald Deluca, Gregory Darlington.
  11. Demand Criminal Investigation and Prosecution of Corruption/Abuse of Public Office Charges against the Town of New Baltimore Supervisor Susan O’Rorke and Town Council Members Lisa Benway and Christopher “Chris” Norris.
  12. Review and Publish all Notices of Claim Served Upon the Village of Ravena, the Town of Coeymans, and the RCS Central School District, and demand an accounting to the Public of the status and disposition of those complaints made against these public entities, and the justice—most likely the injustice—received by the agrieved parties.
  13. Work Hard to Promote and Advance the Social and Economic Interests of the People of the Village of Ravena, The town of Coeymans and the Town of New Baltimore, in Collaboration and Cooperation Between and Among the New Village and Town Boards.

New Baltimore Town Hall on Monday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m.

Don’t Miss the Roasting of the O’Rorke Town of New Baltimore Town Board.

What's that you said, Suz?

What’s that you said, Suz?

Special Menu Items Will include Chris Norris and Lisa Benway Crispy Critters in a Brown Sauce!

Lame-duck, defeated New Baltimore Supervisor Susan O’Rorke and two town board lackies, Chris Norris and Lisa Benway, will explain their personal recipes for roast pork. You know, the ones Denis Jordan and selected vendors have learned to enjoy these past years. Susan O’Rorke will try to squirm out of her putrid corner to explain why she and lackies Chris Norris and Lisa Benway approved so many illegal and unlawful expenditures of New Baltimore taxpayers’ money. David Wukitsch, New Baltimore town attorney will be available to explain why the residents of New Baltimore should not petition the Committee on Professional Standards to suspend his license to practice law or at lease sanction and censure him for legal malpractice while advising the O’Rorke monkeys.

Not Any More!!! Be at the New Baltimore Town Hall and Find Out What Happened to the Bacon!

Not Any More!!!
Be at the New Baltimore Town Hall and Find Out What Happened to the Bacon!

The New York State Comptroller’s auditors found some very serious misuse of taxpayer money and some very suspicious purchasing practices made by the Susan O’Rorke/Chris Norris/Lisa Benway trio. Denis Jordan, an elected town official and town highway superintendent was at the center of most of the abuse of public office. So what do O’Rorke, Norris, Benway do with New Baltimore taxpayer money? They give Jordan a raise!

Concerned residents and taxpayers of New Baltimore intend to show up at the December 9, 2013, New Baltimore Town Board meeting to demand that O’Rorke, Norris, and Benway explain their mismanagement and violation of town policies and New York State Law. They will have to explain why criminal charges should not be brought against them.

Mr Jordan will have to explain why he got the raise and why he was involved in so many illegal purchases. We already know from Jordan’s, Benway’s and Norris’ own statements put out in a recent campaign letter supporting O’Rorke that Jordan and O’Rorke are very close. So they’re so close they, O’Rorke, Norris, and Benway vote to give their friend Jordan a pay raise. Nice!

And where was New Baltimore town attorney David Wukitsch when all of this illegal crapola was going on? He’s being paid by New Baltimore taxpayers to keep things legal. Davey was sitting on his muffin giving illegal advice for unlawful practices. We think New Baltimore taxpayers should demand that the State of New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department, Committee on Professional Standards review David Wukisch’s conduct in his role as New Baltimore town attorney and recommend that he be suspended or at least sanctioned and censured for his legal malpractice!

In the meantime, the only right thing for Denis Jordan to do is to refuse the pay raise and let the new New Baltimore Town Board vote on it. If the new New Baltimore town board thinks he deserves a raise after careful consideration of his past performance and record, we’ll stand by them. But in the meantime, Jordan should not be handed a raise for kissing O’Rorke’s ass at New Baltimore taxpayers’ expense.

New York Governor Mario Cuomo and his Attorney General Eric Schneiderman are so hot and bothered by public corruption, let’s see what they do about radical local government corruption like we have in New Baltimore and in the town of Coeymans! Do their wars on corruption in public office  target only their political opponents and the other party, are their threats and campaigns just smoke-and-mirrors, dogs-and-ponies? We’ll see. They’ll see when they get the numbers from the voting booths!

In the meantime, we citizens have to ensure that the crooks and the corrupt in public office get what they deserve, and lose what they don’t deserve.

After the Elections in New Baltimore: O’Rorke, Benway, Norris Laying Landmines for New Administration

Voters ousted incompetent New Baltimore supervisor Susan O’Rorke and defeated the majority of her coterie on November 5, 2013 (Janet Brooks is still in town hall as town clerk, and Diane Jordan is now tax collector). Almost cleaned house. But those left in power for the next two months are already taking their revenge before they have to hand over their house keys! They’re laying landmines for the new supervisor and board!

YOU VOTED THEM OUT!! But they're Mad and Mean, and they're going to punish you before they leave!
YOU VOTED THE O’RORKE MACHINE OUT!!
But they’re Mad and Mean, and they’re going to punish you before they leave!

You’d think they’d have some dignity, and accept the voters’ decision. Voters simply didn’t want their kind any more. So do you think they’d accept the message and leave with dignity, or show some good will in their last two months in office. Hell NO! They’re going to do all the damage they can before they handover the keys to town hall. They’re going to punish voters for giving them the boot!

Revenge of the Rejects

What? You Promoted Psycho-Cop Ryan Johnson?!?

What? You Gave Denis Jordan a Rais?!?

That is poor government, escalating spending in this way in times when the majority on the New Baltimore town council should be looking for ways to save money and to avoid excess spending. No doubt this is a part of the O’Rorke, Benway, Norris, Angelis-Schrauf Revenge Plan. Denis Jordan, allegedly illiterate, was already cashing in to the tune of more than $52,000 a year out of New Baltimore taxpayers’ pockets!

Barbara Finke (R) was the only New Baltimore board member to vote against the pay raise for Jordan! Why is there only one town board member with a sense of financial responsibility?

We say: As soon as the new New Baltimore town council takes over in January, we say RESCIND Jordan’s raise! O’Rorke and her cronies Lisa Benway and Christopher Norris have already made New Baltimore a Laughing stock by their mismanagement of New Baltimore finances and purchasing. Denis Jordan is one of the morons who made the scathing New York State Comptroller’s auditors’ comments possible. And now O’Rorke and her sockpuppets reward their royal nitwit with a raise. According to the Comptroller’s audit (see below), they’ve always been irresponsible with YOUR MONEY. But this has to be the absolute limit! Stop the lies they tell to misinform residents and cut Jordan’s pay, take back the pay raise NOW!

In the meantime, keep a close eye on what is going on on the New Baltimore town council, and watch Susan O’Rorke, Lisa Benway, and Christopher Norris very closely. They’re going to try to push quite a few things through before they leave that you’re going to be saddled with afterwards. Get to the town council meetings and make your wishes known. New Baltimore residents must demand a moratorium on any major decisions until the new New Baltimore town council takes over. And keep a very close eye on what’s going on with the town of New Baltimore budget: O’Rorke and her pals put together the 2014 budget and it probably means more problems! Don’t let them spend any more of your dollars on a employees who can’t do the job! New Baltimore voters have the momentum, now use it to good advantage: Anything O’Rorke, Benway, Norris or their behind-the-scenes villains (Yes! We’re talking about you Angelis, Schrauf, Brooks, Ross, and others) want, SAY NO!

Corruption in the Town of New Baltimore

Like the town of Coeymans, the voters in the Town of New Baltimore finally got smart and kicked supervisor Susan O’Rorke out and put in some community-minded people like Nick Dellisanti, Jeff Ruso, Sally van Etten on the board and sent a clear message to the local elitist clubs represented by Janet Angelis (of sign-stealing fame) and Hilary Schrauf (of no fame at all). That doesn’t mean that Dellisanti, Ruso, and van Etten have a ticket for free lunch; in fact, we’re going to be watching them very, very closely and any indication of deviating from the straight and narrow, and we’ll be on them tighter than the skin on a frog’s back, will earn them some unwanted attention, too. It you take the job, you’d better do the job.

Regrettably, however, New Baltimore voters kept two insiders in New Baltimore town hall: Janet Brooks as town clerk and Diane Jordan as tax collector. The New Baltimore town clerk is a glorified file clerk and now that the insiders club is no longer in power on the New Baltimore town council and there’s a new supervisor, Brooks is going to have to put in her hours and get to work on time. And no hanky-panky with the sheriff’s deputies. Brooks has had it too easy over the past decade or so because she’s been among her ultra-liberal, pseudo-democrat friends. Things are going to be different from now on, however.

Our main beef is with the fact that Diane Jordan was elected to the position of New Baltimore tax collector. The job of the tax collector in New Baltimore doesn’t require a brain, really, so Jordan qualifies. What we are concerned about is that her allegedly illiterate hubby, Denis Jordan, is New Baltimore highway superintendent. As you already know, we don’t like too many family members in small town government, at least not in the same town hall!

And like the town of Coeymans, ex-supervisor Susan O’Rorke and her cronies on the New Baltimore town board, Lisa Benway and Chris Norris, now that they are losers (they were before but are even more so now), are getting their empty heads together to punish New Baltimore taxpayers. O’Rorke and her gang have two months to do their worst, and they’ve already started: They just approved a pay raise for Denis Jordan.

Is that responsible government, we have to ask? In a time when austerity measures are in order O’Rorke and her minions spend, spend, spend. And why Denis Jordan? Has anyone seen the recent New York State Office of the Comptroller’s report on the recent audit of the Town of New Baltimore’s finances? If you haven’t, you’d better have a look, because Denis Jordan’s activities in cohoots with O’Rorke and her club are the focus of the auditor’s very severe criticisms.

What this means is that O’Rorke and her club rewarded Denis Jordan with a pay raise while he was breaking every rule and law in the book! O’Rorke and her coterie of crooks, Lisa Benway and Chris Norris, who themselves get their share of criticism in the audit report for spending town money without adhering to principles, policies, or the law. Jordan, O’Rorke, Benway, and Norris should be facing criminal charges for what they’ve done in the town of New Baltimore and for misusing New Baltimore taxpayers’ money.

Has the New York State Comptroller’s Audit Report Revealed Ongoing Corruption in New Baltimore?

If you want the gory details, we recommend you read the entire audit report. You can read it or down load it from this link: Comptroller’s Audit Report on New Baltimore.

Here are some of the remarks made by the Comptroller’s auditors (taken straight out of the Audit report!):

  • The Board did not ensure that Town officials followed statutory bidding requirements or the Town’s procurement policy. We identified approximately $301,000 in purchases that were not properly bid as required by law, and approximately $94,000 in purchases that did not have quotes as required by Town policy…As a result, the Board does not have adequate assurance that goods and services have been acquired at the lowest cost. (page 5)
  • Town officials did not comply with GML requirements for competitive bidding of purchases. We examined 29 purchases subject to competitive bidding requirements totaling $545,168 from seven vendors, and found that purchases totaling $301,137 paid to four vendors were not competitively bid or purchased under valid OGS or county contracts. Purchases not competitively bid included: Road Paving Services – The Town paid $127,908 to a company for paving services…the company doing the paving work did not submit the lowest quote.(page 6)
  • New Truck – The Town purchased a 2013 truck cab and chassis for $120,740…In addition, the Town purchased the truck’s dump body and plow for about $25,000 without properly soliciting bids. (page 6)
  • Pickup Truck – The Town purchased a pickup truck with a plow for about $27,000…the vendor was not the OGS contract holder and there was no documentation to link this local dealer to an approved OGS vendor. (page 6)
  • By circumventing GML requirements, the Board has not provided the taxpayers with assurance that significant contracts were awarded in a transparent and open process, and that the expenditures were prudent. (page 6)
  • Town officials did not provide sufficient oversight to ensure compliance with the procurement policy requirement for three written quotes. Of the $143,031 in applicable purchases in our sample that required three written quotes, purchases totaling $94,120 did not have the required quotes or were not alternatively purchased through State or county contract.
  • Low-Sulfur Diesel Fuel – The Town paid an aggregate of $21,824 for two types of low-sulfur diesel fuel for Highway vehicles and equipment…Town officials did not have documentation to show that the fuel was purchased under either contract.
  • Plastic Pipes and Connections – The Town purchased $14,758 in materials to repair culverts. [Town made false claims that pipes were purchased under a county contract. No such contract exists.]
  • Pole Barn Addition – The Town purchased building materials totaling $9,755 to construct an addition to a Town building but had no supporting quotes.
  • Uniform Service – Uniform rental and laundry services of $7,011 for Highway Department uniforms had no supporting quotes.
  • Material and Services – The Town paid $34,278 to multiple vendors for gravel, processed stone, crusher run (crushed stone) and road paving preparation material, waste management, and other products/services. The Highway Superintendent [Denis Jordan] said that he had obtained written quotes as required by policy and that he verbally presented them to the Board but did not retain the written quotes. [Yeah! And pigs have wings, too!]
  • – Additionally, prior Board approval was required, but was not documented, for individual and aggregate purchases totaling $135,377 of our sample of $165,455. Town officials said the approvals were given in committee meetings [= O’Rorke, Benway, Norris!]. The Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor told us that they meet regularly in committee meetings with the Highway Superintendent [Denis Jordan] to discuss planned Highway Department purchases, but do not ask for or receive copies of quotes.

According to the NYS Office of the Comptroller:

The Town [of New Baltimore] is governed by an elected Town Board (Board) composed of a Town Supervisor (Supervisor) [Susan O’Rorke] and four Board members. The Board is responsible for overseeing the Town’s operations, finances and overall management and provides guidance through the enactment of policies and procedures, adoption of the annual budget, and approval of all contracts. The Supervisor [Susan O’Rorke], who serves as the Town’s chief executive and chief fiscal officer, is responsible for implementing Board policy and overseeing the financial management of the Town’s moneys. As chief fiscal officer, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing most of the Town’s financial duties. (page 3)

General Municipal Law (GML) requires that purchase and public work contracts in excess of $20,000 and $35,000, respectively, during a fiscal year be publicly advertised for bids and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. (page 5)

Susan O’Rorke, Denis Jordan, Lisa Benway and Chris Norris have criminally mismanaged the Town of New Baltimore’s money and business.

Money-Corruption-Cuffs The right combo for abusing voter and taxpayer trust! For violating your oaths of office and breaking the law!

Money-Corruption-Cuffs
The right combo for abusing voter and taxpayer trust!
For violating your oaths of office and breaking the law!

Is this how Denis Jordan and his friends on the New Baltimore town board, ex – supervisor Susan O’Rorke, and town council members Lisa Benway and Chris Norris play with taxpayer money, ignoring New York State General Municipal Laws and even their own town policies? How long has this mismanagement been going on? What this does clearly illustrate is that it pays to be an insider…and it apparently pays really well, too.

So, New Baltimore residents and taxpayers, with all of this criminal activity going on in the New Baltimore Highway Department under the illiterate expertise of one Mr Denis Jordan, with the support of ex – supervisor Susan O’Rorke and friends Lisa Benway and Chris Norris, how is it that Denis Jordan qualifies for a pay raise?!?

Susan O’Rorke, Denis Jordan, Lisa Benway and Chris Norris have criminally mismanaged the Town of New Baltimore’s money and business. The have violated the New York State General Municipal Law and the financial policies of the Town of New Baltimore. They have criminally violated the trust and the laws they took solemn oaths of office to defend, protect, and uphold!

It’s an interesting fact that the NYS Comptroller’s Audit was held back until after the elections. Was there a plan to protect the criminals in the Town of New Baltimore and to not adversely influence their chances for re-election? Was this a democrat plan? Did someone in Albany, perhaps on the democrat committee, know about the draft audit report and pull strings to keep the democrat Comptroller from releasing these damning results before the elections? Didn’t do them much good, did it? Is there a mole in the Comptroller’s office or just dirty politics as usual?

David Wukitsch? Or is it Michael Biscone?

David Wukitsch? Or is it Michael Biscone?

New Baltimore uses the same town attorney as the Town of Coeymans, David Wukitsch. That’s spelled “S-h-y-s-t-e-r.” Took lessons from Michael Biscone, apparently. Mr Wukitsch is about as useful as tits on a bull or pants on a hooker! Where is Mr Wukitsch when all of this law-breaking is going on? Isn’t he supposed to be advising the town? Keeping things legal? Wukitsch is a wishy-washy crook, taking the towns’ cash and leaving them to their half-wits. Mr Wukitsch needs to appear before the Third Appellate Division and the New York State Professional Standards Commission and maybe have his license to practice suspended. The town is paying him but what’s he doing? NOTHING! Taking money and giving nothing in return is theft, Mr Wukitsch, and you are a thief! Time to fire Wukitsch’s ass and get someone who knows what he’s doing!

We say that residents must demand that the Office of the NYS Attorney General investigate and bring charges against Susan O’Rorke, Denis Jordan, Lisa Benway, and Chris Norris for public corruption, conspiracy and obstruction of justice! We say that residents of the Town of New Baltimore must demand that the NYS Atorney General division of public corruption and the Albany Field Office, Special Agent in Charge, Andrew Vale get involve in investigating possible criminal activity in New Baltimore Town Hall, and why these laws were violated, and standing financial policies ignored. We know who got screwed! But what we want to know is Who got paid off? Who benefitted?

We’d like your support to get action!

The Hudson-Catskill Newspapers (Ravena News Herald, Greene County News, Daily Mail) refused to publish the personal profiles of the New Baltimore’s Republican, Conservative and Independence party-endorsed candidates. Don’t you think that might have had a very big effect on the election results in New Baltimore? We’d like you to John B. Johnson, chairman, and Mark Vinciguerra, publisher, what you think of their discriminatory, unfair, unbalanced coverage of the candidates and their unfairly influencing the elections. The publishers of those newspapers abused their privileges. Here are their emails:

We have a big bone to pick with the Greene County Board of Elections, too, and demand some action from the Office of the Attorney General and from the Secretary of State. Why? the Greene County Board of Elections did nothing in response to the unbalanced coverage of the candidates. You can read on the Greene County BoE website: “The right to vote in the United States is one of our most important constitutional guarantees and we make every effort to insure that the election process in Greene County is administered in a fair, efficient, and professional manner.” OK. It’s not! In fact, we feel that the residents and voters of the Town of New Baltimore, no matter what their persuasion, should demand that Greene County Election Commissioners Thomas J. Burke and Brent Bogardus both RESIGN! They’ve both proved themselves to be useless, impotent, and irrelevant! If you agree, tell them so! Here are their e-mails:

Coeymans: They’ve Been Rejected, Rebuked, Rebuffed but Take Revenge on the Community

Voters ousted the majority of the scoundrels on the Coeymans town council (Tom Dolan’s still around but very alone; he’s out next time) and on the New Baltimore town council, while rejecting their cronies. Almost cleaned house. But those left in power for the next two months are taking their revenge before they have to hand over their house keys!

YOU VOTED THEM OUT!! But they're Mad and Mean, and they're going to punish you before they leave!
YOU VOTED THEM OUT!!

The Coeymans dems under the misguidance of loser Tom Dolan ran Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington’s babe, Michelle Maddage, for town clerk. They played Maddage for a circus clown, and she played right along with Dolan, Boehm, and Darlington and danced like their cute little monkey, and ran for a town office for which she had absolutely no qualifications. She lost pitifully! But Maddage was just a tool. You see, Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington had cut a deal that would place his wife, now a secretary in that racist, pandering, incompetent Albany County DA David Soares’ office, in the Coeymans town clerk’s office as a part-time employee. Imaging if the plan had succeeded: If Maddage had by some stroke of misfortune, won and became Coeymans town clerk, she would hire Darlington’s wife in the town clerk’s office. That would put dodo-cop Gregory Darlington in charge of the clerk’s office and in control of any information leaving town hall, because Maddage would be taking orders from Darlington, his wife, and from Tom Boehm and Tom Dolan! Talk about a police state! Talk about turning town government into a family business!!! Voters by the grace of a merciful God put a quick stop to those diabolical plans.

But just because Maddage and the Darlingtons lost the bid to control the Coeymans town clerk’s office. And just because Tom Boehm and Dawn Rogers got booted from their playpens on the Coeymans town council doesn’t mean that they’re finished screwing the citizens of the town of Coeymans. They still have 2 months to do a hell of a lot of damage and they’re mad and mean. They’re going to pull all the stops now that they have nothing to lose. They’re going to punish voters for making the right choices.

Psycho-Cop Ryan Johnson, as inept as he was and continues to be, has botched up so many investigations and probably holds the record for complaints against the Coeymans police department has been promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Coeymans p.d.!

What? You Promoted Psycho-Cop Ryan Johnson?!?

What? You Promoted Psycho-Cop Ryan Johnson?!?

In the town of Coeymans they’ve already started. We all know what friends Boehm and Darlington are, and Dawn Rogers had a special fondness for the Coeymans police department. Craig Apple, Albany County Sheriff saw the writing on the wall and pulled his sockpuppet Kerry Thompson out of the Coeymans p.d. with the cleverly disguised “promotion” of Thompson to “deputy chief deputy.” Thompson then resigned his position with the Coeymans p.d. (Nice move, Craig, get out of harm’s way while you can.) So what do the dregs on the Coeymans town council do? Rather than accept their fate, they promote psycho cop Ryan Johnson, a reject from the Cairo p.d., and such a psycho that they had to get him out-of-the-way in the Coeymans p.d. so they got on a drug task force. Well Johnson, as inept as he was and continues to be, has botched up so many investigations and probably holds the record for complaints against the Coeymans police department has been promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Coeymans p.d.! They promoted Coeymans’ own Psycho-Cop! Thanks Tom Boehm, Tom Dolan, Dawn Rogers!!!

Previous to the so-called “promotion” Psycho-cop Ryan F. Johnson was collecting more than $58,000 in town of Coeymans taxpayer dollars! For what?

That is poor government, escalating spending in this way in times when the majority on the Coeymans town council should be looking for ways to save money and to avoid excess spending. No doubt this is a part of the Boehm, Rogers, Dolan Revenge Plan. Ryan F. Johnson was already cashing in to the tune of more than $58,000 a year from the Coeymans taxpayer pockets!

Even Tom Boehm’s lies couldn’t keep him or Dawn Rogers in office. The two town officials Boehm and Darlington, and Rogers were constantly tripping up and abusing got re-elected, and Boehm and Rogers, two of Darlington’s supporters, are no more. Now where does that leave Darlington? Where does that leave that money-pit of the Coeymans police department? Here’s where: in very dangerous waters. The Coeymans police department is useless, corrupt, and simply a playpen for a bunch of thugs who can’t go anywhere else. They thought they had it made until their friends on the Coeymans town council got the boot. Now the way is clear to break up the party going on in the basement of Coeymans town hall and turn law enforcement over to the profession law enforcement professionals you’re paying for already: The Albany County Sheriff and the New York State Police.  There are better ways to spend the $1,000,000 (one million) that the Coeymans p.d. is costing taxpayers every year!

Have our readers heard about the suspension of two Coeymans police officers for misconduct or criminal activities? We’ve heard it’s been discussed in town council Executive Session but not a peep has been heard in the media. It’s been a very well-kept secret. Do we owe the secrecy to Tom Boehm, Dawn Rogers and Tom Dolan? How about it, Coeymans police-chief-whose-job-is-in-jeopardy Gregory Darlington: Come clean if you can. Who are the officers and what’s the story?

We say: As soon as the new Coeymans town council takes over in January, we say RESCIND Johnson’s promotion. Set the wheels in motion to save Coeymans taxpayers $1,000,000 and eliminate the Coeymans Police Department. Stop the lies they tell to misinform residents that they need the Coeymans p.d.!

In the meantime, keep a close eye on what is going on on the Coeymans town council, and watch Tom Boehm, Dawn Rogers, and Tom Dolan very closely. They’re going to try to push quite a few things through before they leave that you’re going to be saddled with afterwards. Get to the town council meetings and make your wishes known. Coeymans residents must demand a moratorium on any major decisions until the new Coeymans town council takes over. And keep a very close eye on what’s going on with the town of Coeymans 2014 budget! It hasn’t been approved yet. Don’t let them spend any more of your dollars on a police department that’s almost out the door! Coeymans voters have the momentum, now use it to good advantage: Anything Boehm, Dolan, Rogers or Darlington want, SAY NO!

In 2009, the Ravena News Herald Reported that Michael Biscone Attempted to Limit Free Speech in Ravena

Village of Ravena, Bruno, Biscone, Deluca they're Burning Our Constitution!

Village of Ravena, Bruno, Biscone, Deluca
They’re Burning Our Constitution!

Yes, you read correctly. In an article by Laurie Lynn printed on the front page of the Ravena News Herald in its May 7, 2009, edition: “Ravena attorney limits free speech.” But that shouldn’t surprise anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear.

The article describes Michael Biscone as “a lawyer for the village of Ravena” and describes the village’s and Biscone’s attempts to “illegally restrict public comments at its meetings.” According to a letter from “village attorney Michael Biscone, ” persons wanting to comment publicly “must give the board…an outline of what they plan to say” before the meeting!”

It shouldn’t be surprising that the Coeymans town attorney at the time, David Wukitsch,  tells the News Herald that Biscone’s letter applies “two different rules to public participation.” Now that’s something really new for Ravena and RCS, isn’t it? Double standards? Two different rules?

The article goes on to quote Robert Freeman, executive director of the New York Committee on Open Government, “It is against the law to discriminate between who may speak at public meetings and who may not.”

Here’s another suprise for you: The reporter writes that the policy outlined in the letter was neither discussed nor brought to a vote during an open public meeting. Of course, Michael Biscone tries to wiggle his way out of that one, too. According to Biscone he wrote the letter based on a “request” made by the “board.”

Here’s where we have a problem with Biscone’s silly excuse. First of all, it sounds like the one about “the devil made me do it!” Biscone is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York. As far as we know, New York is located in the United States of America, and in the good ol’ USA the Constitution and its Amendments are the highest law of the land. And don’t law schools teach constituional law? Aren’t attorneys expected to know about the Bill of Rights? Free speech, free assembly, all of that stuff? Apparently Biscone never heard of all that.

Ever Heard of This?

Hey, Biscone!
Ever Heard of This?

Here’s another one for you to toss about: Biscone at the time was village attorney. He was the official legal advisor to the village of Ravena on legal issues. Right? So if the village of Ravena wanted something done Biscone was supposed to advise them whether it would be legal or illegal. Right? Why didn’t Biscone tell the “board” who “requested” him to write up the gag policy, that it was illegal? Was it because Biscone was ignorant or just crooked and saw an opportunity to take advantage, as he normally does, of the Ravena village board, its mummy mayor, John Bruno, and the people of the district? No, Mikey, you can’t get off the hook so easily. If this blog were around then you’d probably be cleaning toilets instead of practicing your perverse form of law!

The law is clear: It is not legal for three or more board members to conduct government business in private (Freeman, New York Committee on Open Government). According to Freeman: “If indeed, a majority of the board discussed this issue…to comply with the law, the discussion should have occurred in public.”

Does this remind anyone of the secret meetings between Nancy Warner, John Bruno and Martin Case [?] (On information and belief, we believe Cathy Deluca was present, too.) when the Ravena Health and Fitness Center used equipment was purchased for more than $40,000 of taxpayer money from Robert “Bob” Fisk (a Persico), Rocco Persico’s (Ravena village trustee) cousin, and Jose Bruno handled the sale (and the property rental to the RC Teen Center). The meeting alone was an illegal meeting! And it’s also true of the way the Ravena Health and Fitness Center was created! No public meetings. No minutes. No public discussion. Citizens were told what was going to be done, not asked!

Now, here’s Ravena mayor John Bruno’s usual “I didn’t know” response (Bruno used the same claim of ignorance when the state found serious accounting errors in the village of Ravena bookkeeping):

“Village mayor John Bruno said…that he knew Biscone was sending a letter. He said he did not review the contents before it was mailed. He said he was not sure whether or not the other board members knew of the letter before it was sent.”

What started all of this? Funny you should ask. Well, as we’ve reported on a number of occasions Ravena’s mummy mayor John Bruno and his sockpuppets, the Ravena village trustees, has problems with the town of Coeymans. This time it was about sewer services and who pays what. So, Laverne “Larry” Conrad, building inspector and code enforcement officer for the town of Coeymans, got in a 35-minute “interchange” during a village board meeting with mayor Bruno.

According to Conrad:

“I got tired of hearing the information being improperly broadcast at village board meetings…I was just trying to clarify the numbers. They’ve been all over the place with numbers.”

According to the News Herald, “Biscone’s…letter” letter to Coeymans town supervisor at the time, R. Hotaling, “expressed some ‘significant concern’about Conrad’s appearance.”

Here’s how Biscone worded his illegal demand on behalf of the Ravena village board:

“Please understand that in the future, a representative of the town government will not be recognized to speak at a village public meeting unless that individual has prior approval from the board and an outline is presented to the board in advance of the contents of that individual’s concerns.” [our emphasis]

Biscone continues in that April 23, 2009, letter:

“I am advised by the village board that this rule will apply, not only to representatives of the town government, but to any individual who is not a village resident.” [our emphasis]

This is incredible. This is scandalous. It’s an outrage that Michael Biscone or any attorney licensed to practice law in New York state or anywhere in the United States could pen such illegal, unlawful, un-American rubbish and not find himself in front of a disciplinary board getting his license suspended! It’s even more scandalous and outrageous to have to admit that this shyster was Ravena village attorney at the time [and continues to work very closely with the village board], and at board meetings was constantly whispering something into Bruno’s hairy ears.

It’s even more idiotic that Ravena allows its mummy mayor to get away with his moronic excuse, “I didn’t know…” What in hell is he mayor for? The article by NH reporter Lynn and even the Biscone letter states that it was the “village board,” who requested him to write the rule, despite its obvious illegality. The board is made up of the trustees and the mayor! The exchange allegedly giving rise to the rule was between Larry Conrad and mayor John Bruno! Bruno’s either senile or a liar. More likely he’s a senile liar!

,big>Public Places and Public Meetings Are Free Speech Zones

Public Places & Public Meetings Are Free Speech Zones

The article quotes Coeymans town board member Thomas Boehm as saying, “the village board members are ” just further isolating themselves’…’they hide behind their attorney.” Never were truer words spoken.

Boehm is further quoted as saying “The village is going against the democratic principles our country is based on…[t]hey’re limiting the ability of the public to communicate ideas and thoughts.”

And Larry Conrad, an official of the town of Coeymans:

“He’s [Biscone, Bruno] not stopping me from coming…What was his purpose–to censor my rights as a person and my rights to speak? If they remove me from a meeting for just being there, there will be a lawsuit, guaranteed. And Michael Biscone won’t be representing me.”

That’s really cute, Larry, because the article also notes that Michael Biscone was not only Ravena village attorney, he was [and isn’t he still?] your “personal lawyer”!

thank-you card+pen

Special thanks go to Laurie Lynn, the reporter who wrote the 2009 article for the News Herald, and a very special friend who provided us with the entire print issue of the May 7, 2009, News Herald article quoted above.

Deluca

Deluca

This entire issue is very, very timely considering the fact that papers were recently served on the village of Ravena for violations of a citizen’s rights by Cathy Deluca, director of the illegal and unlawfully equipped and created Ravena Health and Fitness Center. The Coeymans Police Department is also investigating criminal charges of harassment filed by the abused citizen against Deluca.

There is also the issue of the Ravena Shop’n Save having prevented two local citizens from exercising their rights of free expressive activity and lawful political activity in the public space near the Shop’n Save. Shop’n Save management demanded that they stop their activity, an activity that is explicitly protected by the First Amendment, and asked them to leave. We have agreed to assist those two citizens in putting together their lawsuit.

It’s up to us to ensure that our Constitutional Rights are not violated by our local public officials and their lackeys. It’s time to wake up and shake things up!

You can read and download the minutes of the April 27, 2009, town of Coeymans board meeting at which the Biscone letter was read into the record and discussed by the Coeymans town board. The entire text of the Biscone letter is reproduced in those minutes. It’s an interesting read if you want to know how some of your Coeymans town board members feel about the relationship between the town of Coeymans and the village of Ravena. Click this link Minutes,  then click the Download button. The minutes should appear on your screen for reading or downloading. The discussion of the Biscone letter starts on about page 22.

Steal My Rights, Go to Jail!

Bad news for Bruno, Deluca and Biscone and everyone associated with those criminals!

Ravena Continues Criminally Irresponsible Financial Neglect

The Village of Ravena Publishes the Proposed 2013-14 Budget: $115,500 for the Village Fitness Center;
Cathy Deluca to be Director making $30,000+.

Illegal, Exclusive, Expensive

Illegal, Exclusive, Expensive

Do the math: If there are 500 households in Ravena, the fitness outfit will cost each and every household at least $300.00 in 2013-2014!

Bruno-Warner-Deluca BurningYour Money

The Village of Ravena Refuses to Disclose Legal Fees
Financial Irresponsibility Continues in the Village

Village Mayor John T. Bruno is Still Clueless

Mayor John T. Bruno

Mayor John T. Bruno

In a Times Union article following the Office of the NYS Comptroller’s audit of the village of Ravena, ” Audit slams Ravena board. Village officials fail to monitor finances, comptroller warns,” we read:

The Village Board has little control over finances…The audit revealed scant oversight by the board and said the village treasurer has almost exclusive control over finances…It found that the board is not aware of purchases, does not monitor the actual cost of operations versus the budgeted cost, does not approve budget transfers, did not audit the treasurer’s records or the justice court and filed annual financial reports late…
None of the transfers were approved by the board, the audit said… The audit called the village’s purchasing policy outdated, said the policy is not being followed and the board is not monitoring purchases… Two out of three department heads said they were unaware the village had a purchasing policy, and in reviewing claims, a substantial portion of them did not have proper documentation attached…”The mayor stated that the board was not aware that audits of the treasurer’s and the justice court’s records were required to be completed,” the audit said.

More than thirty years on the village payroll and Mayor John T. Bruno still hasn’t got a clue. ‘What, records? Us, keep records? Nah! I don’t know nothin’! Get outta here!”

And Nancy Biscone-Warner, wife of village justice Harold “Hal” Warner, has been treasurer for more than 20 years, and has been re-elected to the position by dumbass voters (probably the Brunos, Biscones, Persicos, Albanos, and a handful of Coeymanazis were enough to vote her in). Now she’s haunting the corridors of village hall 25/7. Why are the village Ravena, NY, reading reports of such incompetence and voting these clowns back into office?!? We don’t get it!!! Shouldn’t these walking-dead from the past be exorcised or something?

Nancy Warner Still Haunts Village Hall

Nancy Warner Still Haunts Village Hall

This blog has reported extensively on the village of Ravena’s backroom deals to evict the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Community Library and create the Ravena Health and Fitness Center. The planning for the Ravena Health and Fitness Center was business as usual in the village of Ravena: it was done secretly. No public hearings, no public comment. Then the village of Ravena went ahead and purchased about $40,000 in used health club equipment from another insider. The $40 grand came out of the public treasury. Again no public hearings or inputs.

We published our prediction that the Ravena-Coeymans Incest Club, the Brunos, Biscones, Warners, Delucas would be setting up a cozy little private spa for themselves and their croneys, as well as providing a plum position for one of their own. Well, as usual our prediction is correct.
The proposed village of Ravena budget is out and here are the figures for the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, which already has its own e-mail and designer logo, again a done deal behind closed doors.

Cathy Long-Deluca

Cathy Long-Deluca

As we predicted, Cathy Deluca has been given the position of fitness center director at a cool salary of $30,000. Is that being paid out of taxpayer monies? Yes! Does it include benefits that not many of us are likely to see? Yes! Is this an insider pick? Yes!

Actually, Cathy Deluca does have some fitness center mismanagement experience. She managed a fitness center when she was still Cathy Long. Remember the fitness center on Main Street? The one that failed?

So let’s have a look at the “budget officers estimates” of what the fitness center is going to cost (the figure below is taken directly out of the proposed budget):

7180 Fitness Center
130 Director (Cathy Deluca) 30,000.00
151 Hourly Employees 30,000.00
290 Equipment 30,000.00
424 Telephone 500.00
429 Repairsto Equipment 20,000.00
435 Outside Services 2,200.00
436 Unclassified 3,000.00

The Ravena Health and Fitness Center is Estimated to Cost Ravena Residents $115,500 in 2013-14. Can you afford that?

We’d like you to have a close look at item s 290 Equipment and 429 Repairs to Equipment. The village plans to spend another $30,000 on equipment for this misconceived misuse of public money. But what’s really irking us is that they’re budgeting another $20,000 for repairing equipment. They just bought about $40,000 in used equipment, and now they’re planning to spend another $20,000 repairing it. (Do the math: $60,000 in junk, scrap!) Our question is obvious: Who got the kickbacks?

There’s no business plan or anything like planning so the other $5,200 for items 435 Outside Services and 436 Unclassified are still mysteries. But let the imagination go wild on this one!

multicolor rhfcWhile I do not generally advocate taking local dollars out of the community, I must admit that nothing, nothing that the village of Ravena can do can even come close to the opportunities in Glenmont, just down the road with Planet Fitness and it’s beautiful facility, including changing rooms, tanning, instructors, events, sanitation, etc. And all at a ridiculously reasonable price and a variety of plans. But then, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center with all of its misleading hype, is not for you or me, it’s for the Ravena-Coeymans in-crowd.

Once the Coeymanazi bunch makes the Ravena Health and Fitness Center its watering hole, do you think the rest of us will be welcome? Guess again!

BigFatDancingDeluca_sm

How comfortable will you feel with Jerry Dirty-Hands Deluca behind you?

So, cruising down Main Street in Ravena we can take in the Bruno legacy as we approach a centennial: empty storefronts and empty residential buildings. But Ravena has $115,500 dollars in the 2013-14 budget for a fitness center. Go figure!

Moreover, wouldn’t it have been more responsible to have budgeted that $150,000 to support say the RC Teen Center’s programs for the benefit of youth, or perhaps to invested some of it in the RCS Community Library programs, after all the Library is in the geographical territory of the village of Ravena, or maybe some billing software to keep village accounts, especially water and sewer billings, honest. Speaking of water and sewer, how can the village board of Ravena in good conscience budget $150,000 for a health and fitness center of dubious merit, while neglecting the necessary repair of a 100-year old village sewer and drainage system! It’s criminal and Mayor John T. Bruno and his lunatic band of clowns William Bailey, Rocco Persico, Martin Case, and Nancy Biscone-Warner need to do some jail time with co-conspirators Cathy Long-Deluca and Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca!

Lady-Kiss-Hips

Cathy D.: “Gimme a health-club, Mayor Johny!”

We’d also like to remind our readers that the Bruno-Warner-Deluca fitness scam is also at the expense of a community institution, the RCS Community library. The library is funded by tax dollars that property owners in the town of Coeymans pay. You voted on its budget at the same time you voted for the RCS central school district budget, and the members of the RCS school board. The RCS Community Library serves residents of two counties as a result of the funding (actually the town of Coeymans (Albany County) and part of the town of New Baltimore (Greene County). In other words, the RCS Community Library is a publicly funded institution that serves the entire RCS CSD region, plus. The village of Ravena has done everything possible to make the library unwelcome, including raising its rent by an additional $600. That’s $600 of your money.

One of the reasons the RCS Community Library could not leave its location in the Ravena village building is because D. Persico, board member Rocco Persico’s cousin, didn’t have the money to finish the required renovations, and had to qualify for a loan. Normally, when a contractor renegs on a commitment, there are penalties, like Donnie, you’ve got to eat the rent hike? But that’s not how business is done in Ravena-Coeymans, especially in the Incest Club. Rather than impose penalties on the contractor-board-member-cousin who doesn’t have the money to finish the job, the village of Ravena raises the library’s rent by $600!

This situation has to be investigated and we’ll be publishing forms for residents to fill in and cover letters that can be used for submitting complaints to the Office of the State Comptroller and to the Office of the Attorney General, demanding that the operations in the village of Ravena be investigated.

Rocco Persico

Rocco Persico

Isn’t it odd that Rocco Persico is a psychologist on the payroll of the RCS school district and he’s on the village of Ravena board. I really have to ask myself what kind of psychologist Persico is if he’s on the Ravena board and this crazy shite still goes on? Maybe that’s why the high-school kids are so whacked out.

And the Financial Irresponsibility and Criminally Poor Recordkeeping Goes On and On and On…
What is Ravena Shelling Out for Legal Fees?
In Other Words:
What is the Michael Biscone Racket Being Paid?

FOIL
A Local Resident Filed a Demand for Production and Disclosure of the Village of Ravena’s Legal Expenditures. The demand was made under the New York State Freedom of Information Act, which requires public entities–with the exception of courts–to produce and disclose all public access information within a specific period of time.

§84. Legislative declaration. The legislature hereby finds that a free society is maintained when government is responsive and responsible to the public, and when the public is aware of governmental actions. The more open a government is with its citizenry, the greater the understanding and participation of the public in government.

*****

The people’s right to know the process of governmental decision-making and to review the documents and statistics leading to determinations is basic to our society. Access to such information should not be thwarted by shrouding it with the cloak of secrecy or confidentiality. The legislature therefore declares that government is the public’s business and that the public, individually and collectively and represented by a free press, should have access to the records of government in accordance with the provisions of this article.

Yes, every one of us has the right to demand disclosure of information from our government and public agencies. The government and its agencies work for you. Don’t let them forget that fact!

There are laws, the Freedom of Information Law, for example, that lay down the who, what, where, how, and when. And you should know about all of this. For example:

§89. General provisions relating to access to records; certain cases. 3. (a) Each entity subject to the provisions of this article, within five business days of the receipt of a written request for a record reasonably described, shall make such record available to the person requesting it, deny such request in writing or furnish a written acknowledgment of the receipt of such request and a statement of the approximate date, which shall be reasonable under the circumstances of the request, when such request will be granted or denied, including, where appropriate, a statement that access to the record will be determined in accordance with subdivision five of this section. An agency shall not deny a request on the basis that the request is voluminous or that locating or reviewing the requested records or providing the requested copies is burdensome because the agency lacks sufficient staffing or on any other basis if the agency may engage an outside professional service to provide copying, programming or other services required to provide the copy, the costs of which the agency may recover pursuant to paragraph (c) of subdivision one of section eighty-seven of this article.

And so far, the village of Ravena (and the RCS CSD district offices, Dr McCartney. But more on this later.) have obstinately broken the law!

It seems a local resident submitted a demand for disclosure of the village of Ravena’s legal fees, because of the observation that wherever you look there’s either a Biscone or a Teresi doing legal work for the village, the town, private individual, on their own. And given the NYS Comptroller’s observation that nobody seems to know who’s doing what or where the money’s going, it apparently seemed like a good idea to get the official word. Normally, a FOIL works…unless there’s something to hide.

Well, the resident got the runaround and then it was “we need more time because we’re mailing out sewer and water bills.” OK . Call him stupid, but the resident agreed to give them more time. And then…SILENCE. He contacted the village and the clerk tells him that the request is unreasonable, that she does not have access to the records, what she does have she’ll produce by August 2, 2013. WTF! Read the law (especially the parts quoted above)!

For all we have to say about the town of Coeymans, who apparently got the same request at the same time, the Coeymans town clerk responded in a matter of days! Why is it that Ravena needs almost 6 months from the time the FOIL was submitted to the time the village clerk expects to have the records? No way, José!  Well, maybe they don’t have any records. Maybe they don’t want to surrender the records. Maybe someone doesn’t want the records public. Maybe all of the above.

So now the village of Ravena has a choice: either get the documents to the resident or face the consequences. Now we’re on the case and we’ll see it right on through to the Office of the Comptroller and the Office of the Attorney General. And we know of quite a few other residents who’ll be more than happy to join the movement.

Well, dear readers, the law is the law for you and me, and for the village of Ravena. The village of Ravena is now breaking the law and it’s time to go public and demand that the Office of the State Comptroller and the State Attorney General do some poking around. Where are the records, Ravena?

Actually, we’ve hear that Michael Biscone is having his own problems these days. It seems he’s allegedly being sanctioned by the court for some sort of misconduct. We’re trying to lay our hands on the papers and will publish as soon as we can find out the facts. A former partner of Biscone’s, Joe  Rotello, is now in the Appellate Division, the New York State Unified Court System division that is responsible for disciplining attorneys. We just want all concerned to know that we know and that we’ll be watching for any messing around. May Biscone get what’s coming to him!

Hidden Costs of Corruption…Can Ravena-Coeymans Afford Them?

We Published Parts of this Article in a Previous Article But it Wasn’t Very Visible, We’re Told. It’s Important, So We’re Giving it Space of Its Own

In a previous article we discussed a case of a resident trying to get the Coeymans police department to enforce the law rather than having the law perversely applied as usually occurs. In that article we describe a current case where  the Coeymans police, in conspiracy with the Coeymanazis around the Coeymans justice court, are actually obstructing justice (that’s a federal crime under where I come from; see US Code – Chapter 73: Obstruction of justice.) by employing conspicuous retaliation (delaying) tactics and likely other criminal activities to avoid prosecuting alleged felonies. The problem is, the Coeymans police and the Coeymans justice court actually thought they’d get away with it again this time again, sillies that they are!

Obstruction of Justice is a Serious Crime

Obstruction of justice is a serious federal and state  crime where someone tries to impede or interfere with the operation of the justice process. Anyone, even a police investigator or officer, a judge or other public official can be guilty of this crime. This can include actions that impede or prevent the criminal process during the investigation stage or during the prosecution stage. There are many different ways that someone can be charged with obstructing justice such as:

  • Attempting to influence a judge, court employee or a jury member
  • Threatening, harassing, coercing, assaulting, blackmailing, retaliating against or taking other actions against someone for participating in a criminal investigation or prosecution
  • Lying to law enforcement officials about important information such as knowingly altering, concealing, or destroying evidence or potential evidence
  • Otherwise obstructing or impairing the operation of state or federal laws, obstructing or impairing a criminal investigation.

The law takes a particularly dim view of public officials (elected officials, judges, public employees, police officers and employees) who obstructing the justice system, because society holds such people to a higher standard of conduct. Where an obstruction of justice charge might be sketchy, most prosecutors also make use of statutes protecting the citizen’s civil rights; so there are provisions that can be used in prosecuting for civil rights violations, too. Even a mediocre attorney would have a picnic here in Coeymans, and probably will…a qualified civil rights lawyer will make a killing!

The civil suits will be filed, of course, or follow the criminal prosecutions, or they may even be filed at the same time and run simultaneously. Where the criminal prosecutions don’t get the dirtbags, the civil lawsuits will (Do you remember OJ Simpson?). Pay us now or pay us later, as the old Midas muffler commercial used to chant.

Coming Soon to Someone
You Know!

You’re gonna be served!

Note also that Coeymans will have to diligently investigate and disposition each and every Formal Written Complaint submitted by citizens and residents, and those investigations must be properly documented. That’s great for future civil lawsuits and criminal prosecutions because the documentation of those complaint investigations will be available in discovery or when subpoenaed and what a mess that will be for Coeymans! Furthermore, every Notice of Claim will have to be investigated, documented, and those records of investigation will be available, too. Everyone involved at any stage of the process will be a possible witness and can ge examined before trial or at trial. Positively delicious!

And do you realize, citzens and residents of Ravena-Coeymans, that you will  have to foot the bill for the criminal misconduct of your elected officials, the police, the judges. So, go ahead and ignore what’s going on in the Coeymans Police Department and in the Coeymans Town Court and in your town boards and village councils.

Keep on ignoring the corruption and criminal activity but don’t complain later that the lawsuits are sending the town into bankruptcy or that services are discontinued in order to pay the judgments! And don’t scandalize the citizens who stand up for their rights when they’re abused and mistreated; if the majority in the community didn’t sit back and let the criminals have their way with the community, the criminal prosecutions and the administrative law actions and civil lawsuits wouldn’t be happening.

  • Do you residents realize that every complaint has to be investigated and that costs money?
  • Do you realize that every time a complaint is made against a judge, like the ones against George Dardiani, or against one of your public officials, the community, YOU, have to foot the bill for his lawyers?
  • Do you residents realize that when a complaint is made against a police officer, whether the complaint is justified no not, and that officer is disciplined or terminated, it could cost upwards of $250,000 in the battle with the police union to get the creep off the force? This is about what it costs to battle the teachers union, too, when you want to fire a teacher. Do you wonder why you have so many pervs on the police force or as teachers?

Are you listening, Darlington, Dardiani, Deluca, Biscone, David Soares, Coeymans town board members! Your outright misconduct and indifference is going to cost a bundle…both you and the community. Fines, jail, loss of pension…not pretty.

So, Citizens and Residents of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, You Can Wake Up Now or Pay Up Later…Those Who Are Still Left in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk; The Smart Ones Will Have Already Left, Probably With Their Non-Polluting Businesses and Skills (All that Coeymans can attract these days is ther communities rejects and garbage dumps, it seems! But you all have raw sewerage on your lawns or in your basements, don’t you? Now, that’s a plus!)

Enjoy the Show…And Pay the Price
(We Warned You!)

There’s a F*&$%@% Elephant in the Room!!!

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

When we started this blog it was never intended to focus on the backwater communities of Ravena and Coeymans, much less be dominated by the corruption and evil in those two neighboring communities. A story about a local business person who was being scandalized because of some obscure political leaning and because he was appealing his tax assessments is actually what drew our attention to Ravena-Coeymans. It became quickly apparent to us that the place is a nest of fear, anxiety, and hypocrisy and so we titled our first article “Coeymans, New York: A Nest of Hypocrisy”

In addition, there are some very credible indicators that Coeymans town officials, including one particular judge and members of the Coeymans police department may be actively and knowlingly obstructing justice, a very serious federal crime.

Coeymans’ Response to Its Taxpayers

The feedback we got on that first article was tremendous and, looking back more than 54,000 readers later, we’ve covered an awful lot of territory but have come to only one conclusion, and it’s the same one we drew right at the start: The hypocrisy and corruption is so obviously on the surface and so conspicuous, it’s like the elephant in the room. When we first announced to everyone in the Ravena-Coeymans community, “There’s an elephant in the room!” The response was like, “Elephant? What elephant? Oh, that’s not an elephant, it’s an elephant!” And so it went on and on. The hypocrisy, corruption, and evil was so visible, so conspicuous no one wanted to see it or admit it was there. But we persisted because it called to mind that ancient story about the six blind men and the elephant, which was later put into a poem, “The Blind Men and the Elephant” by John Godfrey Saxe (1816-1887).  (Click here to read or download Blind Men and the Elephant-Poem.)

The final stanza goes like this:

And so these men of Indostan
Disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!

Now, I’m very much a realist and pragmatic and generally stick to the verifiable facts, having spent my entire professional life basically writing, critiquing and being critiqued in one fashion or another. So I know when I see an elephant.

This is an Elephant

So, speaking of elephants in the room, let’s take a very brief look at a very big elephant in a very small courtroom…actually there were two elephants in the Coeymans courtroom this past week, and everyone managed to ignore them. Perhaps our decription of the problem was too complicated for modest intellects so we decided to simplify it for some of our local readers.

Elephant No. 1. The People vs. John Vadney.
For those of you who somehow managed not to have been following this here is the case in a nutshell. There are plenty of details on this blog, too. A former (Thank God! she’s former!) member of the RCS CSD board of education, Josephine O’Connor, claimed that the sitting board of education president called her “fat” while waiting for the results of the 2012 voting on May 15th. O’Connor allegedly did what we call the ‘fat-lady dance’ and as she describes it on FaceBook, she ran up and down the school hall in the presence of voters, shouting “He called me fat!” Witnesses to the exchange all deny that Mr Vadney called O’Connor “fat” or anything similar at all. Several weeks later, O’Connor’s father, Joseph Edward Tracey, appears at a local business and proceeds to threaten the female owner and her family. He demands Mr Vadney’s phone number and the woman gives it to him. Tracey later places a call to Vadney, who puts it on speaker, and Tracey launches into a tirade of profanity, obscenities, and threats. Mr Vadney, fearing for his family’s safety, notifies the police, who contact Tracey, and Tracey gets abusive with the police. The Bethlehem police arrest Tracey and he is arraigned before a Bethlehem town justice. Mr Vadney requests an order of protection ordering Tracey to stay away from Vadney and his family, and the judge grants it. Tracey violates the order the very next day (admitting this fact in a sworn statement!) but has the Coeymans police arrest Mr Vadney claiming that Mr Vadney allegedly called him (Tracey) names.

Mr Vadney’s son was brutally attacked when he entered the high school the very Monday following the arrests. Nothing was done, no charges pressed. Everything was quiet, business as usual.

Mr Vadney had to take his entire family to an undisclosed location for their security thoughout the entire summer. That’s not an elephant, that’s plain bullshit! No one should have to leave his home to feel secure!

Although there is abundant evidence against Tracey, there is no evidence against Mr Vadney, but Mr Vadney has been harassed by the press, by opponents, and by the Coeymans court. The basic question is this: Why is Mr Vadney continuing to be harassed when there is clearly no evidence and no case against him? (This question is one that the incumbent DA P. David Soares should be answering, but he’s too busy dipping his pen in company ink and getting himself censured by the Appellate Court).

When the business woman attempted to file a report about Tracey’s abuse, the Coeymans police officer refused to take the complaint. The incident is currently the subject of a Formal Complaint and Claim against the town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police.

That’s elephant No. 1 (actually it’s a whole herd of elephants but we’ll keep it simple for now).

Elephant No. 2 – The People vs. Scott Lendin
The second elephant in the room interestingly is the polar opposite of the first elephant! This time it’s a case of trying to get the Coeymans police department to enforce the law rather than having the law perversely applied. In other words, the Coeymans police in conjunction with the Coeymanazis around the Coeymans justice court are actually obstructing justice (that’s a federal crime under where I come from; see US Code – Chapter 73: Obstruction of justice.) by employing conspicuous retaliation (delaying) tactics. And they thought they’d get away with it, sillies that they are!

Obstruction of justice is a serious federal offense where someone tries to impede or interfere with the operation of the justice process.

Are you listening, Darlington, Dardiani, Deluca, Biscone, David Soares, Coeymans town board members!

In December 2011–YES! December 2011–a certain Scott Lendin allegedly trespassed on the claimant’s property and damaged a number of automobiles, and stole a motor vehicle. In total there are likely two grand theft felonies and one trespass charge that was made in December 2011 with the Coeymans police. The alleged crimes were committed in December 2011, when the report was filed by the victim, but Mr Lendin has not even been arraigned yet!

In fact, the Coeymans police managed to delay, a form of retaliation, the investigation, which was assigned to Guess who? Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca, who sat on it for more than six months. Finally, totally frustrated, the business owners contacted the NYS Police and the Albany County Sheriff’s Department for help. The Sheriff’s department responded and within a day the investigation was underway and Dirty-Hands Jerry was removed from the case and the case was assigned to another investigator. They’re still sitting on it.

Now, most recently, Mr Lendin was supposed to have been arraigned on Thursday, August 23, 2012, before Coeymans town justice George Dardiani, the same George Dardiani who is being investigated for ethics violations by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct, who lost a pissing contest against Michael T. Biscone, now representing Scott Lendin, and couldn’t manage to get Biscone to bring Lendin in to be arraigned, and also appears to be unwilling to sign the warrants to allow the police to bring Lendin in to be arraigned.

Don’t mess with Grandma!

Admittedly, when you put a school cafeteria manager in judge’s robes that’s exactly what you get, a cafeteria manager in judge’s robes. But that’s the problem with the town and village justice system and has been for more than half a century: you put an ignoramus on the bench and he’s scared shitless to do anything more that jail drunks, harass old ladies (a Coeymans speciality, I hear), pork their clerks (I presume only the female ones), and pee blood when facing an attorney. And who suffers? You get one guess.

Biscone tells Dardiani he’s not brining in Scott Lendin to be arraigned because the Coeymans police screwed up the paperwork. According the the Coeymans police, nothing’s wrong with the paperwork, Biscone is just being an “asshole.” (After some 8 months don’t you figure the Coeymans police would have noticed if something were wrong with the paperwork? Wouldn’t you think Dirty-Hands Jerry would have noticed in the more than 6 months he was supposedly “investigating” the crime? He didn’t.) So, here you have it: The Coeymans police ignore a crime until forced by the County Sheriff to move their asses, then they further delay the investigation. Obviously, there was an initial arrest and a report, otherwise Lendin would not be called in to be arraigned.

One question we might also ask is where is Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington when all of this is going on? Isn’t he being paid more than $91,000 a year in taxpayer money to ensure that things get done and done on time in the Coeymans P.D.? We also have it firsthand that the Coeymans town board oversees the Coeymans police department. O.K. Coeymans town board, do some overseeing! Why’s this happening? Tom Dolan is the Coeymans town board liaison to the Coeymans police department. Let’s ask the wannabe state senator (NEVER!), Tom Dolan, why this is happening? (Just imagine how effective he’d be in the state senate! NOT!)

Why Dardiani is delaying the show is a very big question mark. Actually, Dardiani is putting himself in yet another difficult situation because he’s again violating judicial ethics. Admittedly, he’s probably intimidated by Biscone, because he (Dardiani) has no formal legal training and very little if any training by the state when he was elected (although the town and village justices should attend annual continuing education seminars). So he’s probably afraid to sign the warrants. Is that so, justice Dardiani, are you scared?

That’s the second elephant and the little elephants, the big questions that follow that elephant are:

  1. Once the crime was reported and Lendin arrested…if he was even arrested when the crime was reported…why wasn’t he arraigned then?
  2. Why was the case laying around on Deluca’s desk for more than 6 months?
Why was it necessary to have to get the Sheriff’s department on it before Coeymans police would move?
  3. Once it got moving again, why wasn’t Lendin arraigned as required by the law?
  4. Why wasn’t Scott Lendin in court for arraignment on Thursday, August 23, 2012?
  5. When Biscone refused to bring Lendin in, why didn’t Dardiani immediately issue a bench warrant ordering the police to bring him in to be arraigned?
  6. But who, in fact, is lying? Either Biscone is likely lying about the paperwork or the Coeymans police are lying and incompetent for having screwed up the paperwork and then, worse still,  lying about it. (Our money is on that fat-ass Michael Biscone.)
  7. And if Biscone is lying and the paperwork is in order, why haven’t the police proceeded to bring Lendin in. If they need a warrant signed by dumb-ass Dardiani, why don’t they have it in hand?

So we’ve made a full circle, though you may not have noticed, because our attention was first drawn to Ravena-Coeymans when we read about the local businessperson who was being crucified for having a different political ideology and for appealing his taxes. Now, the questions I have for all of our esteemed readers and those who can’t read but love the pictures:

Question for Discussion No. 1: Why are we paying taxes to support a police department who is indifferent to crime, enforces the law selectively and discriminatorily, is known far and wide to be retaliatory, who delay investigations for months, etc.? Why, I ask you, are we paying taxes to support a bunch of incompetent, unlawful, corrupt thugs who intimidate and dominate the good cops on the force? The bottom line is this: We are getting screwed by the criminals and screwed by the very law enforcement personnel we are paying to enforce the laws! Why pay taxes for that?

Got nutz?

Question for Discussion No. 2: Why are we paying taxes to support a town and village court system that the entire world, including the New York State Unified Court System, admits is ignorant, corrupt, and a waste of money? Why are we paying for judges who don’t know the law, or who are afraid to interpret it, or who pee themselves when they see a lawyer? Who runs the courtroom? Do we really need to pay for judges and court staff if all they do is collect traffic fines? Can’t our tax dollars pay for a balls-transplant so that we can get some justice? We are getting screwed by the criminals, screwed by the taxpayer-paid police, and screwed by the taxpayer-paid judges, and further screwed by the taxpayer-paid court staff! Why pay taxes to get screwed?

Question for Discussion No. 3: How dare any one of you out there criticize anyone for questioning the justice of how our tax dollars are being spent? How dare any one of you criticize another citizen for having the balls to say “NO! I’ve had enough! I’m sick of being screwed!” Knowing what you know you should be rallying behind that citizen with pitchforks, baseball bats, coat hangers, dildos, anything to support him! Or do you perversely enjoy the screw-job you’re getting for your tax dollars?

Question for Discussion No. 4: When in hell are you people going to do something about all of this? Like at least starting a letter-writing campaign, an e-mail campaign, filing Formal Complaints, attending town board and village council meetings and demanding accountability? And then, to add insult to injury, Why? Good people, do you even entertain the idea of allowing someone like company-man Tom Dolan to even consider running for a senate seat?!?!

Hasn’t this blog exposed enough of the corruption, incestuous relations, the evil web of illicit influence that extends from the heart of your village and town (your local officials and their spouses complicating everything from school budgets to court operations) to the very chambers of the NYS supreme court (Joe Teresi, town attorney Greg Teresi’s dear old dad)?

Or is this community populated by blind sheeple goosing an elephant and calling it…a dead ladybug!

There’s a F***ing Elephant in the Room!
Admit it! See it!

Dardiani and Biscone Subject to Discipline!

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

An Asinine Idiotic Attorney and an Ignorant Judge with No Balls Make for A Silly Soap Opera! But That’s What Was Presented to the Public by the Dardiani-Biscone Comedy Team, the Stars of the Coeymans Town Court.

Coeymans Town Court is One!

Take it for what it’s worth but I have a very profound respect for the law, ethics, morality. I am personally offended when I see a cheap shyster making a mockery of jurisprudence, the court, police work and all for the shyster’s ego and personal gain. That’s what I saw in Dardiani’s court with the performance of star-clown Michael J. Biscone in his perverse defense of alleged felon Scott Lendin, whom he refused to produce for arraignment on Thursday on two counts of felony grand theft and one of trespassing. Not only did shyster  Biscone show unabashed contempt for the court, playing on the presiding judge’s ignorance and inability to assert himself, but he offended the notion of law enforcement by publicly–and inaccurately–proclaiming that the Coeymans police department had screwed up the paperwork. Biscone showed extreme disrespect for the court by telling, YES! telling the judge he was not going to bring his client in to be arraigned. Any other judge would have placed Biscone in contempt of court with a hefty fine but Coeymans town justice George Dardiani just grinned stupidly and attempted to appease Biscone.

If that were a private meeting or a meeting in chambers it would have been bad enough but it all transpired in public, in front of dozens of spectators in open court. What effect did the whole circus performance have on the public? Well, it would be reasonable to assume that anyone witnessing the monkeys at play felt it was a mockery of jurisprudence. I, for one, was embarassed by it all and felt that most of the unwashed in the courtroom probably lost all respect for the court. Bully Biscone merely proved the general opinon that he’s a jerk and that the court is a plaything, a sham, and he could do what he pleased and get away with it. After all, he’s a Biscone.

Well, Dardiani, you balless wonder, and Mikey Biscone: Here’s where the buck is going to stop! Dardiani, you’re done making a mockery of the justice system. Biscone, you’re on your way to disciplinary hearings, shyster that you are! The investigation will probably include your unethical conflicts of interest, too. The community is getting a wake-up call and you’re both on notice.

Based on What We Were Able to Observe in Coeymans Town Justice George Dardiani’s Court on Thursday, We Have Grounds for and Will File Another Formal Written Complaint Demanding that the State Unified Court System Discipline Dardiani for Failing to Maintain Order in His Courtroom and for Eroding the Public’s Confidence in the Judical System. Bad news for Georgy, because this may mean the Commission will remove him from the bench and prohibit him from ever running again. Are you listening, kitty-litter reporter Dayelin Roman of the Smalbany Times Useless?

Dardiani’s Reaction to Biscone
He Became a Sucking Eyeball Freak!

Old John J. Biscone, mouldering in his grave, must have been turning restlessly at about 10:20 on Thursday, August 23, 2012, when sonny boy Michael Biscone was making an ass of himself, George Dardiani, and the justice system. Poor old dead daddy! Is that really your legacy to the community, John J.? Is Michael J. and John T. all there is (Well, isn’t it enough? The place is lousy with Biscone shysters!)  Not quite what you were hoping for, is it? But it’s the Biscone Legacy.

Michael J. Biscone, the Biscone Legacy
John J. Biscone’s Gift to You = One Big Turd and One Little Turd

So, in Addition, We are Preparing a Formal Written Complaint Against Michael J. [Jerky-Boy] Biscone for Submission to the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, 3rd Department Demanding the Biscone be Censured and Disciplined for His Unprofessional and Contemptuous Conduct in Dardiani’s Court and for his Unethical Conflicts of Interest he Operates in RCS which We and an Entire Community Witness Regularly (Probably Why the Coeymans Town Board Meetings and the Ravena Village Council Meetings are Not Recorded and Archived).

They’re All Cousins!
Now do you see what’s going on?
(We’re working on a bigger relationships chart.)

And yes, we are aware that Michael T. Biscone’s former partner, Joseph C Rotello, is employed as a clerk (exec assistant)  in the Appellate Division 3rd Department division of the court system. And yes, we will ensure that the complaint points out this fact and that the investigation precludes Joe Rotello from interfering, intervening, or otherwise influencing the investigative process or the outcome. Sorry, Mikey, but Joe Rotello won’t be able to help you out on this one. And don’t forget that hidden little tick, Greg Teresi, his father is the notorious censured state judge Joseph Teresi, the one censored for anti-pro se bias. Not to mention, of course, town justice Harold “Hal” Warren’s wife who is a Biscone and a member of the Ravena town counsel.  And there’s the Darlington connection with Soares DA’s office, the best little whorehouse in Albany,  in Albany where his wife is a secretary. So, you see, in this widow’s web of incestuous relationships unless you’re paying someone off, or in bed with them, you don’t have a snowflake’s chance in hell for justice in Ravena-Coeymans!

(Bud don’t despair yet. There’s still justice Phillip Crandall and retired justice, now justice clerk Kevin Reilly who may be the only two clean people in the entire putrid system!)

Biscone Screwed You Guys Good

All that having been noted, we’d like to know what the Coeymans police department thinks of the ass-kicking they received at the hands of fat-ass Michael J. Biscone? Seems Biscone thinks you guys can’t even properly fill out an investigation form or an information. Fat-Ass Biscone seems to think you’re all a bunch of morons and belong in the same league as the ignorant mousey Coeymans town justices. How do you all feel about that? Did you really screw up the paperwork like Mike Biscone claims you did? Did you all play into Biscone’s dirty little game plan? What do you think about all of this? And where was your chief, Darlington, when all of this was happening…out again? What the hell is this town paying him for, anyway? He’s totally ineffective, useless! Was he taking his wife to the doctor’s again? Did you check under his desk…or was he under Dirty-Hands Jerry’s desk (Move over, Dayelin Roman, you gotta share!)?

Dardiani should have immediately held shyster Michael J. Biscone in contempt, remanded him to overnight custody, issued an immediate bench warrant and ordered alleged felon Scott Lendin arrested and brought in for arraignment. In addition, were I Dardiani, I would have made a formal written complaint to the NYS Committee on Professional Standards demanding that Biscone be disciplined. But then I’m different from Dardiani; I have a set of working man-apples.

Everyone present that day will be named as witnesses. We’ll submit the entire sign-in sheet with our papers. We’ll also demand the digital recordings of the proceedings as part of our filing.
