Hapless Hal Gets Humped: Charles Stahlman Misleads State Troopers – Hal Gets Case

Hal Warner Embarrassing Ravena

The whacko counterfeit money handler Charles “Chuck” Stahlman is on the streets and has too much time on his psycho hands. He’s so annoyed the New York State Police that they had to serve a bogus complaint on a local businessman who told Chucky (no not the horror doll, the real local horror star) to get off his property. Stahlman claims that he was harassed and demanded that the State Police take his complaint – Stahlman threatened that he would go to the NY State Police Commandant if they didn’t — so the courageous, brave, public servants got cold feet and served the business man with the bogus complaint. And Hapless Ham-hand Hal Warner allowed it. Now, people, shouldn’t we expect a higher standard of conduct from our courts? And why do our law enforcement professionals have to be the henchmen for a psychopath? It’s a slap in the face to make our troopers take such abuse from pschos, especially given the New Scotland State Police Station’s past experiences with Charles “Chucky” Stahlman, Stahlman’s wife, and his “fragile” (that’s how Chuck Stahlman describes his son, “fragile“) son, Zachary Stahlman. Given the Stahlmans’ past history with the local business and Chuck Stahlman’s record, law enforcement should have some discretionary authority, that is, the ability to tell scoundrels like Stahlman to take a walk.

Chucky Gonna Gitcha!
Chuck Stahlman on the Prowl.

Question: How can you harass someone who voluntarily trespasses on your own property, by telling him to leave? How can you harass someone who knows he shouldn’t be on the property but trespasses and then taunts the owner? Who’s doing the harassment, anyway? This is very, very strange.

Stahlman Playing the Police for Fools [AGAIN]; Hapless Hal Warner Gets the Booty-Banger

In Brief: Neither the New York State Troopers nor the Village of Ravena Court know where they are at any given time. First of all, the NYS Trooper filling out the Information (the document showing the details of the complaint) didn’t know where he was. Trooper David Cross thought he was in the Village of Ravena when he was in the Town of Coeymans. The location of the incident was in the Town of Coeymans, outside the jurisdiction of the Village of Ravena. The document prepared by the Trooper is worthless! Even worse, the summons was issued by acting Ravena Village Justice Charles Brooks. Wouldn’t you expect a sitting village justice to know what’s in his jurisdiction and what’s not? Well not in Ravena! Then we have good ol’ Hapless Hal Warner, a resident of Ravena and a village justice for almost 10 years and he doesn’t even know where the village starts and where it ends!!! His wife, Nancy Warner, has been a village council member for at least 10 years. We won’t even mention the Albany County DA David Soares‘ mealy-mouthed gopher assistant, Rat-boy Stephen T. Lydon, who was “ready for trialbut in the wrong jurisdiction. Local justice in action. You can’t make this stuff up! You have to wonder from whose pubic mound these local lice were plucked!

Back to superpsycho Stahlman. Stahlman comes into the picture when sonny boy Zachary Stahlman leased some premises from the business for a flea market,  an off-shoot of Chuck Stahlman’s so-called “antique” (= used junk) business, Fat Cat Antiques (Fat Cat Transport). The younger Stahlman subsequently broke the lease and lied his way through the small claims hearing when he demanded his security deposit to be refunded. Crackpot New Baltimore Town Justice Lee Davis, a loser and one-termer, who couldn’t read his way out of wet toilet paper, let alone a commercial lease, awarded Stahlman the security deposit. Stahlman later retained loser-lawyer, Brendan Baynes, to represent him to collect unlawful interest on the security deposit, and Baynes, idiot that he is, filed papers telling Greene County Judge and former D.A., Terry Wilhelm, that he made a mistake and didn’t know the law. Wilhelm wasted no time in putting Baynes in his place and telling Stahlman to take a walk, and denied the petition. Stahlman’s greed and little brain fart must have cost Stahlman a bundle and really pissed him off. Baynes, of course, got his fees.

Zachary C. Stahlman. Chucky Stahlman’s “fragile” son; the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, does it?

[Editor’s Note: There is some unconfirmed information that Stahlman was allegedly involved in a firearm incident involving someone he had a dispute with. The details are still unconfirmed and vague but there is a disturbing similarity of the alleged incident with that of a recent driveby shooting involving a local business who also  had dealings with Stahlman.]

The law requires that all parties to a legal action be served with any papers relating to the action. The Landlord and local businessman, in compliance with the law, served Stahlman with the papers objecting to Stahlman’s demand for interest. Stahlman and cow wifely Stahlman promptly rushed to the New Scotland State Police station and demanded that the business man be arrested for harassment, that is, complying with the law and ensuring that Stahlman was aware of what was going on.

The Station Commander correctly informed Stahlman that there was no harassment and that the law required that he be served. The Station Commander even printed out the law so Stahlman could see for himself. Stahlman still raised an uproar and had to leave the station.

No wrong-doing on the part of the NYSP! They’re on the level, as always!
Thanks to NYSP New Scotland Station Commander, SGT Michael Mullaney

Several weeks ago, during an auction on the former landlord’s property and place of business, the landlord couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw “someone who looked like Charles “Chuck” Stahlman carrying goods on the property.” The businessman couldn’t believe that Stahlman would set foot on the property and was amazed when Stahlman greets him by name. The landlord asks the auctioneer if the guy is Stahlman and the auctioneer confirms. It appears that Stahlman approached the auctioneer and asked if he needed any help moving merchandise and the auctioneer, not knowing who he was, accepted the offer. When the businessman asked the auctioneer if he hired Stahlman or even knew him, the auctioneer denied both and allegedly replied, “He offered to carry stuff.”

The businessman ordered Stahlman off the property. Stahlman promptly went to the State Police and demanded that a complaint for harassment be taken and served on the businessman. For some crazy reason, the responding trooper took the complaint and served the businessman after being threatened with retaliation to the NYSP Commandant.

[Editor’s Note: If the NY State Police had any sense at all, they’d be charging Chucky Stahlman with filing a false instrument, lying to a law enforcement officer, harassment, and perjury!!! It seems to us that it’s Stahlman who’s doing the harassing, not the businessman. What do you think?]

What’s even crazier is that the responding trooper — even if he didn’t know he wasn’t in the Village of Ravena — apparently knew of Stahlman, knew of Stahlman’s history, and knew the businessman. What’s going on?

It gets even more bizarre. You see, the alleged incident happened in the Town of Coeymans, but the trooper filled out the summons with an appearance in Ravena Village Court. Isn’t there a jurisdiction problem here? Why wouldn’t a state trooper know to put in the correct jurisdiction?

Back in about 2010 Warner Dismissed Dolan’s Speeding Ticket on Jurisdictional Grounds

Back in about 2010 (we’re verifying the date), Hal Warner dismissed a speeding ticket for buddy Tom Dolan. The ticket was issued in the Town of Coeymans but the appearance venue was Ravena Village Court. Warner dismissed Dolan’s speeding on juridictional grounds (the violation was in the jurisdiction of the Town of Coeymans, not the Village of Ravena. Ravena had no business hearing the case.) In another instance where leadfoot Dolan got another speeding ticked, then village attorney Greg Teresi advised that it be reduced to a parking ticket to avoid having to dismiss on jurisdictional grounds; it apparently was getting to risky. It appears even back then Warner was aware he couldn’t hear a case from Coeymans jurisdiction; he’s a village justice with jurisdiction only for the territory of Ravena. Dolan had to revert to corrupt town justice Phil Crandall to get his other tickets to disappear. (Personal communication; Source: Tom Dolan, Board Member, Town of Coeymans)

Well, it so happens that the businessman is allegedly family to one of Hal Warner’s arch-critics, the notorious Blogger! (We say allegedly because no one really knows who the Blogger is, do they Hal?) The Blogger’s no admirer of Ravena wannabe mayorette Nancy Warner, a sitting Ravena trustee (council member), and Hapless Hal’s wife. Is there a picture of corruption taking shape here? How about potential retaliation? Or is it just me?

So, we composed a little skit on this incident:

Ham-hand Hal Gets Humped

A very short drama by The Blogger

Characters:
Court Officer
Ham-hand Hapless Hal Warner, the Defendant
Judge (a real one)
Nookie-Nancy Warner, Hapless Hal’s Keeper
Stephen T. Lydon, Albany County Assistant D.A. (David Soares)

Hapless Hal Warner, you’re an idiot! You Dirty Dunce!

Court Officer:     Order in the Court! Defendant please rise, state your name, and occupation!

Defendant:          Ham-hand Hal Warner,  “Hapless Hal,”  sir. Ravena Village Justice Court, Nancy’s hapless henchman.

Judge:   Well, Ham-hand,  Hapless, Hal, whatever your name is, you are being charged with violation of the New York State Judicial Law and the Code of Judicial Conduct. How do you plead, Hapless Hal?

Hapless Hal:        Uh! Yer honorableness. Can you repeat the charge. I have to look it up.

Judge:   Ham-hand, you hapless incompetent, all I want from you now is how do you plead? Guilty or not guilty?

Hapless Hal:        Not guilty, your honorary-ness.

Judge:   You are pleading not guilty to criminal retaliation and abuse of judicial office by not recusing yourself, and hearing a case involving a person known to you as possibly being related to your arch-enemy, The Blogger. Is that correct, Hapless Hal? Furthermore, you Gay Goose, you don’t even know your own jurisdiction! Don’t you know where your village boundaries are?

big silly goose

Hapless Hal:        Uh! No, your venerability. Yer right. I didn’t recuse myself and I did hear the case. I though he was related to that nasty Blogger, and I couldn’t get my hands on the Blogger so I settled for him. Any village or town justice would have done the same thing, wouldn’t he, yer holiness?

Judge:   Hapless Hal Warner, you’re an idiot! We’ll do the Ravena Village Court thing and just find you guilty as charged. You should have recused yourself and stayed out of judicial hot water. Hang up your robes, you Dirty Dunce!

Hapless Hal:        But Coeymans Court would have done the same thing. They hate the Blogger, too. Besides, they elect disgraced judges to be Town Supervisor. Phil Crandall liked to do his friends favors. I just wanted to make Nancy happy. She hates the Blogger too, and would do anything – and expects me to do anything – to get at him. I did it for my wifey Nancy, your venereality.

Judge:   Get this foul-smelling sack of roadkill out of my courtroom! He’s a disgrace to the judiciary; he’s a boil on the ass of society! Besides, I think he’s peed himself.

Nancy Warner: [Wringing her bony wrinkled hands and shedding fake tears, her mascara running down into the shallow cleft of her sinking breasts] Oh, Hal, Honey Ham-hand Hapless Hubby! I’m so proud of you! You never disappoint! You are a model of Ravena corruption, stupidity, and dumb-assitude! Hold on, Hapless, I’ll bring you some fresh Depends®!

Stephen T Lydon, Assistant D.A.: Oh, my! Oh, dear! Oh, Daddy David [Soares], we screwed up again! Is my tail showing? Oh, God, give me some cheese. I need some cheese. I feel so faint.

ratboy

Albany Assistant D.A. Stephen T. Lydon in Ravena Village Court

[Court officer forcibly removes the screaming, cussing, foaming Hapless Hal Warner from the courtroom, leaving a steaming trail of urine along the way. Nancy Warner follows with a box of Depends®, while Soares’ Ratboy Lydon cringes in a corner nibbling on something (Have you noticed he smells like cheese?). Exeunt stage left.]

All that’s left of Hapless Hal Warner.

Ham-hand Hapless Hal Warner: desecrating the flag.

This may be the moment we’ve all been waiting for. This may be the opportunity to bring old Ham-hand Hal Warner before the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct and force the hapless dunce into resignation and lifetime ban from running for judicial office. Just like he did to his buddy Phil Crandall.

Stahlman: “They keep telling me harassment!”

Editor’s Note: We will be contacting the New York State Police Internal Affairs Bureau, the New York State Police New Scotland Station Commander, the Office of the Albany County District Attorney, and the New York State Committee on Judicial Conduct for more details.

Editor’s Addendum: We have been provided with a request to publish the NYSP, New Scotland Station Commander’s response to an inquiry on this case. Here is the response:

When a complainant comes to us with a Violation level (not a Misdemeanor or Felony) complaint, we can’t make an arrest unless it occurred in our presence.  In this case, the Trooper takes the complaint and gives it to the judge (in this case, Ravena).  The judge makes the determination if there is enough there to issue a criminal summons.  There judge did here.  He/She issues a criminal summons to get the other party back to court.  This is a Violation level offense, not a crime.  Regardless of how we feel about the complainant, we have no choice but to proceed like we did.  I hope I explained what we did.  If you have more questions, feel free to contact me.

If that’s the case, then the New York State Police, at least the New Scotland Station, deserve our thanks and support. There is no wrong-doing or misconduct on their part. As usual, the misconduct and wrongdoing lies with the psychos in our midst and the incompetent local hill-town courts. Thank you, SGT Mullaney, for this useful information!

Shyster Meets Psycho: Brendan Baynes and Zachary Stahlman a.k.a. Fat Cat Antiques

UPDATE

We chose to dig a bit deeper into this case and had a contributor review the digital recording of the trial proceedings at which Zachary Stahlman made a complete ass of himself and the court. Luckily for Lee Davis, the idiot town justice presiding over the three-ring circus called a trial, was not re-elected. If he had been we would pursue a formal complaint before the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct to have him censured and removed from the bench! But back to Stahlman…

According to the trial recording, Zachary Stahlman states under oath that his father, Charles “Chuck” Stahlman, returned the keys to a lease property after  sonny-boy Zach Stahlman broke the lease. Charles Stahlman returned the keys accompanied by a New York State Trooper. Zachary Stahlman states in his testimony under oath  — not that an oath means anything to a Stahlman — what sounds like “My father is friends with the State Trooper.” Here we have a guy who is apprehended passing counterfeit $10 and $20 bills to purchase furniture for his antiques business (Fat Cat Antiques), arrested by the New York State Troopers, arraigned in court for passing funny money, and now his son admits under oath that his dear ole dad is “friends with the state trooper[s]” ?!? By the way, what happened to the case against Stahlman Sr. for passing the funny money? Did that go away, too?

Now, does that help to explain why the investigations for theft of dealer plates and drive-by shootings might have gone cold and no arrests were made? Does this mean that if you are friends with a New York State Trooper or with the troopers, that you can do anything, including pass funny money, steal dealer plates, shoot at people in their offices, and, despite contradictory testimony and clear breach of contract, win a court case?

Now, it’s important that our readers understand that we are not judging the Stahlmans nor are we suggesting that they are guilty of any of the crimes that were under investigation and allowed to go cold by everyone from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department to the Coeymans Police Department, to the Albany County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Troopers (who refused to investigate), and the Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares, who definitely had a say in the matters, but we are posing some very interesting questions after the review of the trial recordings.

Our slogan is this: After the first lie all the rest is a lie.

The Shyster

Our research shows that Brendan Baynes is not entirely honest, if not an outright liar. He misrepresents his practice and is a bit of a moron, besides.

“Tubbs” Baynes’ Nemesis
Did Michael Biscone tell Baynes to get out of town?

Up until recently, that is, up until a meeting with Michael “Tubbs” Biscone in a local diner, Baynes had an office in Ravena, New York, on 130 Main Street. That was changed after the meeting with “Tubbs” Biscone, when Baynes’ shingle disappeared from 130 Main Street. Here’s why Baynes is a moron: Anyone who would open a law office in Ravena almost directly across from the law office of one of the biggest (hence, “Tubbs”) shysters in Albany County has to be stupid. Furthermore, anyone who opens an office in Ravena, home to the Biscone family of shysters and major members of the Ravena Incest Club (Biscones related to the Brunos related to the Persicos, etc.) has to be stupid.

Brenden Baynes and his special version of corruption: Corruption of the Law…

When Carmen Warner was fired from the Albany District Attorney’s office for misconduct, it was Michael “Tubbs” Biscone who took her in, no doubt to give the freak a job but also to forge an alliance with Ravena Village Hall, where Carmen’s mother, Nancy Biscone — OOPS! We meant Warner — is a “trustee” and a witch-on-a-stick and Carmen’s father, Ravena village justice Harold “Hal” Warner, Albany ex-cop, taken off the street for misconduct, and the very Hal Warner who stabbed Phil Crandall, then a part-time Ravena village justice and full-time Coeymans town justice, forcing him to resign in disgrace, work their corruption. The Ravena Incest Club does take care of its own. But let’s get back to Brenden Baynes and his special version of corruption: Corruption of the Law.

It seems moron Baynes tried to carve into Biscone’s territory; that’s a definite No! NO! The Biscones have had a choke hold on Ravena for at least two generations and they have no intention of sharing with anyone. So Baynes is sent scurrying with his furry rat tail between his legs.

Baynes seems to be a bit uncertain where he’s located…

Baynes left Ravena in a hurry and set up his practice across the county line, in Greene County, in the Town of New Baltimore. He now occupies what appears to be a repurposed chicken house or something similar, and it appears to be deserted at all times, at least every time we’ve stopped by to check it out. Yes, my gullible friends and neighbors, Brendan Baynes Esq. has his office in Greene County, not Albany County, and in the Town of New Baltimore, not in Ravena. He’s a damned phoney liar, a fraud.

Baynes Law Firm Chicken Coop Office on Rt 9W, New Baltimore

Baynes seems to be a bit uncertain where he’s located because he still uses a Ravena address, despite the fact that he’s more than a mile away in Greene County and nowhere near Ravena. So why is it that Mr. Baynes is trying to make the impression he’s in Ravena when he’s not even in Albany County? If he’s not aware of that fact, he’s got some big problems. If he is aware of that fact he’s got a bigger problem: he’s a liar.

Baynes is a bit shaky on how many years he’s been practicing …

Baynes not only uses the Ravena address, which is phoney, he also uses the Rt 9W New Baltimore address as a Ravena address, which is also phoney. What would you expect from a phoney?

130 Main St in Ravena is occupied by Alexander Varga CPA and Anatriello Insurance LLC. Not by Brendan Baynes! Baynes gives this address in some of his online ads.

Baynes not only doesn’t know where his offices are located he’s a bit shaky on how many years he’s been practicing his bizarre kind of law. On some of his advertising you see 15 years, 25 years, 28 years, even 31 years, so there’s quite a lot of questions about Mr. Baynes’ math, too.

Bozo Baynes

Forget the “team” in his hyped ads Baynes is a team of one.

We are also concerned about Bayne’s mental state. You see, he refers on his website using “our team,” “we,” and similar language that would give you the impression that he has a whole menagerie of sharks in his practice. Well, our inquiries show that he’s a loner. Yes, it’s just him. Forget the “team” it’s a team of one. [Editor’s Note: A contributor has written to Baynes asking for the names of his partners, his team members. As of this writing Baynes has not responded.]

Baynes also says his practice includes personal injury, commercial law, estates, medical malpractice, traffic and tickets, trial law. That’s quite a lot of specialization for one guy and it’s all crappola! He’s listed as a “general practice” attorney. That’s all. We think he’s misrepresenting himself. In fact, if you Google Baynes the first hit that comes up is “traffic tickets,” “speeding tickets!”

A reader recently contacted Baynes after seeing his sign and reading his misrepresentations because the reader wanted an attorney who could work on a case against a local municipality, a case of property damage.

Here’s his response:

“Unfortunately, I am not interested in a property damage claim against a municipality as I am very busy pursuing multiple complex litigation matters and cannot take on what would be sure to be a significant devotion of time and effort to your friends case.”

Nobody seems to be pursuing Brendan Baynes for his expert legal advice…

No, Mr. Brenden Baynes was too busy defending traffic violations and speeding tickets. Easy money and totally no-brainers: no-brainer attorney, no-brainer client, no-brainer court. He may be “pursuing multiple complex litigation matters” — maybe that’s lawyer-speak for ambulance chasing — but his parking lot is empty, and there’s a CLOSED sign on his chicken-coop office door; nobody seems to be pursuing Brendan Baynes for his expert legal advice, except maybe Zachary Stahlman and Fat Cat Antiques, a.k.a.

The Psycho

Most of our readers will recall our articles about the Stahlmans, Zachary and his father Charles, of Fat Cat Antiques (Glenmont) associated with Stahlman’s Fat Cat Transport in Coeymans Hollow, NY. The father, Charles Stahlman, has a reputation for shady used car deals and for passing counterfeit $20.00 bills to buy used furniture for his so-called “antique” (= junk) business, Fat Cat Antiques.

Maybe that’s what Zachary Stahlman and his daddy Chuck Stahlman are using to pay Brendan Baynes, Esq., counterfeit $10 and $20 bills. Baynes is likely stupid enough to take them and run…maybe Michael Biscone will take them and launder them for Baynes for a hefty fee.

Zachary Stahlman

State Police apprehended the elder Stahlman when it was discovered he was passing counterfeit $10 and $20 bills to purchase used furniture for resale at his Fat Cat Antiques business. Stahlman was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court, released on $10,000 bail, and went to court on December 6, 2017. Apparently nothing happened. So our question was always, “What happened?” [Cops: Man bought furniture with fake cash and Troopers: Man uses fake money at estate sale).

[Editor’s Note: You can’t make this stuff up. Fat Cat Antiques registered address is listed as: Fat Cat Transport LLC,476 Shady Lane, Coeymans Hollow, NY 12046. They even have “shady” in their address!!!]

We can only think that he turned state’s evidence or is an informer. Anyone else would be doing some sort of time for circulating funny money. What do you think?

Well, as it happens, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and his son’s, that is, Zachary Stahlman’s criminal history includes traffic violations and he was a suspect in a drive-by shooting and possibly other crimes in Coeymans and New Baltimore. He also likes to play major victim and violate contracts like commercial leases etc. Watch out for baby Neanderthal; he’s following in daddy Neanderthal’s footsteps.

We covered all of these stories in our articles: Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? (2017/01/31); Let’s Get Back to Exposing Local Dysfunctional Government (2017/04/24); Local Law Enforcement Might Need Some Help with the Math: 2 + 2 = Stahlman! (2017/02/05).

The younger Stahlman, Zachary, entered into a lease with a local landlord to open a so-called flea market and then broke the lease and sued the landlords for the return of the security deposit, which was paid by his father, Charles. Whether Charles Stahlman used counterfeit $10 and $20 to pay the security is uncertain.

Brendan “Bozo” Baynes

Well, when the landlord refused to return the security deposit for multiple violations of the lease term because Stahlman cooked up code violations, gave a couple of days notice, and abandoned the commercial property he occupied as Fat Cat Antiques, never heating it or complying with numerous other terms of the lease, Stahlman had the balls to ask for his security deposit back and later sued in New Baltimore Town Court.

The case was heard by ex-judge Lee Davis, who admitted that he had no experience in commercial leases, but heard the case anyway, deciding in favor of Stahlman despite the clear provisions of the lease contract.[1] The landlords appealed without an attorney (BIG MISTAKE) and the appeal was rejected.

The Greene County Court before which the appeal was brought found that there was no error in law. Former Greene County Court judge Terry Wilhelm, formerly the Greene County District Attorney, decided the appeal but never notified the parties. (His clerk took the blame for this serious oversight.)

Since Lee Davis was such a failure and disappointment as New Baltimore Town Justice — he was voted out of office after only one term —, the case was returned to New Baltimore but now before New Baltimore town justice Joseph Farrell, who sympathized with the landlords and was at a loss how the matter could have been so mishandled, but he inherited the case and that was that.

Zachary Stahlman then proceeded to take things into his own hands and started not only harassing the landlords during the appeal process but even served demands for payment on the landlords’ other tenants, using the Albany County Sheriff’s Department to do his unlawful dirty work.

Oh, did we mention that Zachary Stahlman was a suspect in the Coeymans drive-by shooting and in the theft of the landlord’s dealer plates? Again the cases went cold, and the investigations closed. Why is that? Cold-Case Coeymans Police Department and Cold-Case Greene County Sheriff’s Department; see our articles above. Taxpayers pay for law enforcement and all law enforcement can manage is to be Albany and Greene Counties’ major supporters of Dunkin Donuts and Cumberland Farms, not to mention a major threat to local wildlife (see our article on the Coon-Killer Cops of Coeymans, and our several follow-up articles on the incident.)

Zacchary Stahlman’s harassment now continues through his new attorney, Brendan Baynes.

Charles Stahlman
Police Mug Shot

We should remark at this point that several months ago, Charles Stahlman wrote to this blog begging us to remove the posts mentioning his son, saying, that his son was ‘unable to work, was “fragile,” that he “loves his son and would do anything for him.” Our response was that if his son was so fragile, how is it that he can harass hard-working people, who, unlike Zachary Stahlman, break their backs working only to be taken advantage of by people like Zachary Stahlman, who then furthers the abuse by dragging them in front of an incompetent town justice, Lee Davis, to further abuse them. Furthermore, if he, Charles Stahlman, “loves” his son and would “do anything for him,” why didn’t he teach him to obey the law, to act like a civilized human being, and to conduct his business honestly. We can understand a parent’s concern for their offspring but Mr. Charles Stahlman’s conduct is anything but good example and his son’s, Zacchary’s, conduct is not much better.

Shyster Meets Psycho

So now we have a situation where Psycho meets Schyster: fragile, socially-aberrant Zacchary Stahlman (But can you blame the kid, considering his background?), probably still unemployed, still harassing others, the shining apple of his criminal father’s eye, now commissions a failed two-bit shyster, Brendan Baynes of somewhere between Albany County and Greene County but definitely not Ravena, New York, an expert in all legal specialized practice but who prefers to handle speeding tickets; a member of a team of law professionals consisting of one shyster, Brendan Baynes, who practices from a repurposed chicken coop that appears never to be open. Baynes who had the audacity to open an office just across the street from the arch-shyster of Ravena, Michael “Tubbs” Biscone, just blocks away from Tubbs’ brother John and niece Sarah Biscone, only to be forced out of Ravena to Greene county where he now appears to be practicing from what appears to be a repurposed chicken coop.

Bozo Baynes certainly isn’t working for nothing even if he is forced to practice from low-rent digs

Well, if psycho Zach Stahlman doesn’t know when to stop, “fragile” as his counterfeit-passing dad claims he is, and “unable to work” as his wheeling and dealing dad claims he is, then it must be the junk shop Fat Cat Antiques that is financing the harassment. Bozo Baynes certainly isn’t working for nothing even if he is forced to practice from low-rent digs.

Bozo Baynes would stoop to anything to make the rent on his chicken coop office.

Bozo Baynes, hot-shot attorney that he is, apparently has taken time out of his busy schedule of “pursuing multiple complex litigation matters” to take on two-bit Zach Stahlman’s case, chasing after about $200 in interest and fees which the County Court told them they couldn’t have! – Gosh! Those traffic tickets and DWIs sure are complex litigation matters, aren’t they, Brendan?

But we have to ask the question why a fraud like Bozo Baynes would leave his “complex litigation matters,” that is, his speeding ticked business, to take on a case that’s worth, well, pennies? Is he that hard up for real work? What’s the deal people?

Zach Stahlman is an angry sociopath who just won’t let things go.

Greene County Court Judge, former DA, Terry Wilhelm

But wait a minute! Didn’t we just say that Zach Stahlman and Fat Cat Antiques (Charles Stahlman) don’t have a case! The case was decided, appealed, and the appeal was decided. But not according to Bozo Baynes, the legal genius who thinks the former DA and now county judge Terry Wilhelm have made a mistake and should reverse their decisions regarding interest and fees. You see Bozo Baynes would stoop to anything to make the rent on his chicken coop and “fragile” Zach Stahlman is an angry sociopath who just won’t let things go.

So “fragile” Zach or more likely counterfeit-fan Charles Stahlman hire Bozo Baynes to tell the court that Baynes thinks they don’t know what they are doing, and that the Stahlman and Baynes know more about the law than the county court judge does. The filed a motion with the County Court to allow re-argument of the court’s decision as if the court should start trembling in fear and awe of Bozo Baynes and “fragile” Zach Stahlman.

Our advice to “fragile” Zach is get some psychotherapy. Our advice to Bozo Baynes is get a real job. Our advice to county court judge Terry Wilhelm is to stand by his decision and tell both Stahlman (Fat Cat Antiques) and Baynes to take a long walk off a short pier. Don’t worry about the sharks, though, they have more sense than to consume garbage.

We would also recommend that the Greene County DA, Joseph Stanzione, review Brendan Baynes conduct and recommend that the 3rd Judicial District, Professional Conduct Committee discipline Baynes his shoddy conduct, abuse of judicial process, and unethical business practices by taking advantage of poor “fragile” Zachary Stahlman and failing to consider his background and sociopathic condition.

Do you think the Stahlmans will be organizing another drive-by shooting after reading this article?

[1] Lee Davis was such a failure his own brother, Harry, threw him in by reporting his history to this blog. We investigated and published our findings in our article Double-Standard Davis: Asking New Baltimore for another Term as Town Justice?.

Why You Should Avoid Ravena-Coeymans and New Baltimore, New York

Among so many other scandals and secrets, we now learn thru the media that the depressed village Ravena in the depraved Town of Coeymans (New York) may be getting garbage from Connecticut. Long-time polluter and environmental disaster LaFarge cement may be accepting tons of Connecticut garbage for burning in Ravena! According to an article in Hudson Valley 360, the online version of the Register Start and the Daily Mail, “A proposal is under consideration in the state of Connecticut that if enacted, could bring 116,000 tons of trash to the LafargeHolcim cement plant for burning each year.” Of course, everyone from the Lafarge spokesperson to corrupt Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall and his lackey, town board member Tom Dolan, plead ignorant, “We are not informed.” But the plan, according to the media, means that the Ravena plant could be burning 116,000 tons of solid waste every year in the near future. But local officials know nothing about this, of course. Aren’t they supposed to be aware of what’s going on in the town? (When the construction of the new kilns was announced nothing was said about burning garbage!)

Infrastructure is crumbling. Real estate is plummeting and deteriorating. Tax base is dwindling. The ignorant still elect the ignorant…

Coeymans has a disgraced former town justice (Phil Crandall (D), Coeymans Town Supervisor), at least two former prison guards (guess what their attitude is to dissent or opinions), and a known bully used car salesman (Jim Youmans (D)), plus their cronies and friends (Cindy Rowzee (D), Crandall’s former “confidential secretary,” as Town Clerk, in key town government positions. Coeymans Town Hall has become the backwater, hill town version of corrupt Tamany Hall.

New Baltimore has an illiterate, barely high-school educated, but highly paid dolt, Denis Jordan (D), with no formal training training  and no continuing education course, serving as Town Superintendent of Highways (Denis Jordan). Jordan ignores the New Baltimore Town Board and the New Baltimore Town Board — even though they have a Repubican majority on the board –— takes it up the bottom and does nothing to discipline Jordan or to protect residents and their property from Jordan’s incompetence.

When the New Baltimore Town Supervisor complained of anal irritation, this x-ray showed what appears to be Denis Jordan’s foot.

There’s little or no hope for justice in these backwater towns, either. It’s no wonder, though. The New York State Unified Court System (everything but unified) and New York state law requires a town justice to have only a high-school equivalency education and does not require legal training to be a town or village justice. The fact that town and village justices are elected locally, and because the standards for education and training of the judges are so abysmally low, the courts in the area are just as corrupt as the town boards, and local law enforcement. In the Greene County town of Cairo, one town justice, Leland Miller, takes his orders from the attorneys appearing in the court. So much for judicial impartiality. And New Baltimore has two incompetent town justices (Joseph A. Farrell Jr and Thomas J. Meacham, highly questionable ethics and courtroom conduct). Coeymans town supervisor Phillip Crandall, was removed from the bench and forced to resign from his elected position as a town justice and had to promise never to run for judicial office again! A judge disgraced for doing illegal favors for friends. But he then ran for the office of Coeymans town supervisor and was elected! And in 2017 re-elected by Coeymans voters!!! So Coeymans thinks that a dishonest town justice makes a great Town Supervisor? Apparently!

Incest may be illegal everywhere but in Ravena-Coeymans, shyster Michael Biscone can fix it for you.

Ravena doesn’t fare much better when it comes to a village court. Harold “Hal” Warner, a former Albany cop who was taken off the street because of civil rights abuses, and put behind a desk until he could collect his pension — That’s how they do it locally: We take our criminals out of the public’s eye, put them somewhere until they can collect their pensions! There’s a lot of local incest and Ravena, apart from its inbred native population, practices incest in public office, too. Old judge “civil rights abuser” Hal Warner’s wife, Nancy Warner, is a “village trustee” — we wouldn’t trust her with a bowl of cat food; she’d probably want to sell it — The village court is supervised by Mrs Hal, who, by the way would hyphenate her name as Biscone-Warner; she’s a member of a local incest tribe, the Biscones, who appear in public either as crooked real estate agents (Josephine Bruno) selling you local dump properties or as corrupt lawyers (Michael Biscone) who do your real estate work for you with their cousins, the real estate agents. Incest may be illegal everywhere but in Ravena-Coeymans, Michael Biscone can fix it for you. (Michael Biscone’s claim to partial masculinity, — he hasn’t seen that part of his anatomy in decades — is the fact that he claims to drive a “Bentley,” a fact he won’t let locals forget. He’s apparently on everyone’s payroll both over the table and under the table.)

When Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall complained of similar anal irritation, the x-ray showed his head inserted into his rectum!

Elected government? Forget about it. Where Coeymans has a pack of crooks on their board, New Baltimore has a one-party system for supervisor, and other elected offices: The No-Balls Party. Houses are going up for sale in unbelievable numbers in Ravena, Coeymans and New Baltimore. Property owners can’t get out of these backwater towns fast enough. What doesn’t sell gets either burned down or demolished. It’s a ghost town in the making.

Infrastructure is crumbling. Real estate is plummeting and deteriorating. Tax base is dwindling and the tax burden is falling on the few who are attempting to ride out the storm of mismanagement, corruption, and general incompetence in local government. And you wonder why?

Ravena’s mayor, William “Mouse” Misuraca, was elected by his bar room buddies and bar customers.

What can we say about the village of Ravena? Well, not much. What applies to the Town of New Baltimore and the Town of Coeymans applies equally well to the village of Ravena and the Hamlet of Coeymans. Incompetence, apathy, ignorance, anxiety, crumbling infrastructure, corruption, croneyism, empty storefronts, hemorrhaging businesses and population. Absolutely no vision in village hall. Ravena’s mayor, William “Mouse” Misuraca, was elected by his bar room buddies and customers — the mayor owns one of the local bars — and previously had tax problems so he qualified for local elected office. He’s done nothing for Ravena but plenty for his bar business: Everyone likes to have the mayor pouring his liquor, opening his bottle of beer. His honor William “Mouse” Misuraca! You can’t make this stuff up, people!

Vote for Mayor Mouse Misuraca (or buy 10 beers) and get a Mouse shirt!

Law enforcement in the Town of Coeymans and the Town of New Baltimore can easily be called “Cold Case Criminal Investigation” because you can hand the Coeymans Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff the hottest of evidence and they’ll let it chill until it goes cold. Chilling a case takes less effort and is less expensive than working it, maybe even prosecuting it. But then, the Albany County District Attorney, racist P. David Soares, and the Greene County District Attorney, Joe “Stagnant” Stanzione, as the chief law-enforcement officers in their counties, play the party game, they’re logrollers, country-club members in their respective parties. Don’t rock the boat! Don’t go after friends of “friends.” And you’ll likely be elected for life. Same thing for Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple and Green County Sheriff Greg Seeley, who both play by the party’s rules and stay in office. Corruption? Do ya think so?

Search this blog. For more than five (5) years we’ve been investigating and reporting on the craziness in Ravena, Coeymans, New Baltimore. We have hundreds of thousands of readers. State and local government officials, even the FBI, read this blog, yet the situation gets worse and worse with each election! Why is that we have to ask?

“I don’t get involved in local politics.”

The ignorance is staggering. When discussing — rather attempting to discuss — the local situation with a fairly evolved local (We know that because he was walking on his hind legs, upright!), he responded: “I don’t get involved in local politics.” Well that explains a lot!

It’s a pitiful situation but no one wants to admit the fact that we are in a crumbling, corrupt and indifferent vicious cycle of political parties, NO!, not parties, one political party the Self-Serving Party (or in the service of the Corporations, who then show their “appreciation”). Our politicians, or more accurately, our local wannabe politicians hold carrots on a stick dangling in front of the dumbass sheep (local residents, “potential” voters), and the dumbass sheep (We repeat: local residents, “potential” voters), follow the carrot wherever the lying sacks of dung (= our local wannabe politicians) want them to move. The fascist political party committees pick the candidates and the voters can make their choice between two or more evils, the final choice being evil by default. That’s what our democracy has become. And you sing your stupid carols and shout Happy Holidays, ringing in a New Year with depravity and debauchery, making resolutions you have no intention of keeping — and you try to deny that the coming year, the New Year, will be different from the Old Year. You’ve been deceived so often for so long that you’ve gotten to the point of deceiving yourself, and you don’t even know it. Business as usual in 2018. And Town Hall butters their bread while telling the starving masses, “Eat cake!”

Can you find yourself in this group photo?

The mob has control of the entire floor of Town Hall

When you look back on 2017, do I have to spell it out for you? What do you see? Well, in 2015 Coeymans elected a bunch of recycled losers to occupy Coeymans town hall. Phil Crandall and his mob of morons, Jim Youmans, Tom Dolan, all losers, made life miserable for the decent public servants, Coeymans Police Chief P.J. McKenna and Town Clerk Diane Millious. In 2017, Crandall was re-elected (or was he?) by the Coeymans villain voters. Crandall’s “confidential secretary,” Cindy Rowzee,  was elected by those same villainous voters to take over the Town Clerk’s office. Diane Millious after more than a quarter century serving the Coeymans community had had enough, had suffered enough abuse from Crandall and Youmans, two scurrilous bullies, and had shed enough tears. So they drove an honest town clerk out and installed a fixture from the corrupt supervisor’s office. Now the mob has control of the entire floor of Town Hall.

The Coeymanites handed their community over to the Coeymanazis!

The Hamlet of Coeymans is a social welfare slum. Run down buildings, abandoned buildings. Buildings being demolished at an alarming rate. Lost tax base; overtaxing those who are stupid enough to remain in what is a textbook example of the American third world in the making. Corrupt Town Hall, abuse of power, and a cowering community. Guess who’s to blame? The Coeymanites handed their community over to the Coeymanazis!

New Baltimore is just as bad. The Democrats served themselves and their friends for years. Now it’s the Republican’s turn. We say Democrats and Republicans but they are the same. For the past 4 years New Baltimore has been the Republican’s sandbox and they’ve done absolutely nothing to benefit taxpayers. The New Baltimore Town Board has proven that the fish stinks from the head down. New Baltimorons can pay their taxes to pay the freaks in the Highway Department to ruin their property, to devalue their real estate, even to create dangerous situations and then refuse to correct their defective work. The New Baltimore Town Board has the wherewithal to correct the situation — New York State Town Law actually gives the Board considerable power over the Highway Department — but when you got no balls and you have an incompetent town attorney advising you, the community suffers, that is, what’s left of the community.

Editor’s Note: In our article New Baltimore Elections: No Choice. The Sequel.(Nov. 4, 2017) We called on New Baltimore voters to protest all unopposed candidates by withholding their votes for unopposed candidates. Again on November 6, 2017, we repeated our call for New Baltimore voters to withhold their votes for unopposed candidates (Election Day Recommendations. This is the moment of Truth!); we advised New Baltimore voters simply not to give unopposed candidates the numbers. On November 7, 2017, we published the election results for New Baltimore (Congratulations, New Baltimore! You did good!). Those results showed more than one-third of ballots cast did not vote for an unopposed candidate. Those numbers sent a very strong protest message to those candidates. It was a great response to our call to withhold votes from unopposed candidates and not to give them the numbers! One third of New Baltimore residents who voted did not vote for an unopposed candidate! Bravo for those voters! Then, in our article, Complacency is a Bad Thing…Especially in Local Government, published on November 10, 2017, we put local, county, and state officials on notice that we would be watching and reporting, warning that complacency and indifference would not be accepted, warning them to be on their guard. This article is to show that we have not let our guard down; we still have your back, neighbors!

New Baltimore Town Board Meeting

New Baltimore would rather sit back and let their insurance company attorneys f**k with New Baltimore taxpayers

Even the higher state courts expect the Town Boards to take care of their own dirty laundry and to keep their incompetence out of the court system but New Baltimore would rather sit back and let their insurance company attorneys f**k with New Baltimore taxpayers — unless you’re a friend of New Baltimore Highway Superintendent Denis Jordan or, as the incumbent Republicans like to say, “Republicans take care of Republicans” — You pay your taxes and the town of New Baltimore uses the money to screw you, while taking their salaries, and padding their pensions. You get to pay attorneys until your money runs out and your home collapses around you. They’ll ruin your property but they’ll still send you a hefty tax bill. And you’ll still be liable for their debt service. Complain? Sure. They’ll send a letter telling you you have to appear before some board months later! But you’d better not be late paying your taxes! Or your dog license, they’ll hit you with a $5 surcharge or threaten you with court action. Small town government at its best!

Don’t give Coeymans Police trainee Amanda L. Mueller any attitude! Hooters in Coeymans PD!

A bunch of kids in uniform with too much power (little authority), and a bunch of bored, ignorant geezers “supervising” them…

Local Coeymans police department rookies go for the quick and the easy: traffic passing through their territories, while a blind eye is given to criminals and obstruction of justice within the department. Serious cases go cold because of indifference and incompetence in the police department. But seriously, can we expect more of boys and girls who are barely out of puberty, still have identity problems, have barely an education, no life experience, no real ability to make good decisions, and you put them in a uniform, pin a badge on them, give them a gun and IT’S PARTY TIME BACK IN HIGHSCHOOL BULLY LAND!!! That’s what we have in Coeymans right now: a bunch of kids in uniform with too much power (little authority), and a bunch of bored, ignorant geezers “supervising” them. Lord save us from ourselves…and our police!!! (See our article on Amanda L. Mueller, local rookie bully cop, at Coeymans Police Turning Into Coeymans Gestapo Again?)

Coeymans: Save money. Put children in uniform, turn them loose on the community.

The antiqaited, obsolete and incompetent town and village court system is a collection of ignorant, just barely high-school educated hicks in black robes, elected by their friends until they are sanctioned, censured, or removed by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Mayor “Mouse” Misuraca
Village of Ravene, NY

Ravena is run by a local bar tender/gin mill owner, so-called mayor Bill “Mouse” Misuraca. Coeymans is run by a disgraced town justice, Phil Crandall, and several recycled politicians. Crandall, Coeymans town supervisor, was removed from his elected judgeship for ethics violations and doing favors for his friends. New Baltimore is a shambles, run by a bunch of balless board members, who can’t even get the town highway superintendent to keep reasonable records. New Baltimore has become a one-party town, where several elected officials, including the town supervisor, were “voted” into office this past election; the problem is that they were unopposed! There was no other candidate to choose! Local democratic process at work. (BTW, it was the Democratic party that was unable to cough up an opponent to the Republican incumbents.) Misuraca’s campaign slogan was lifted directly from the GOP (Republican) National Committee’s slogan, “Committed to Community,” but his administration is more committed to Misuraca’s bar room ego than to any notion of “community.” His campaign couldn’t even come up with a decent campaign slogan.

In the meanwhile, the infrastructure is crumbling and corruption abounds. New Baltimore Highway Superintendent Denis Jordan is doing favors for his friends using town equipment, but refusing to correct deficient and defective sewers and roads in the National Historic District.

Local Town Justice Presiding in Coeymans.
(George Dardiani or Thomas Frese (Dem))

Roads are shit, transportation is shit, local elected officials are shitheads and dumbasses, law enforcement are bullies or worse, judges are ignorant and the courts run by the lawyers. Ravena, Coeymans, New Baltimore have descended to below third world quality of life.

Local Town Justice Presiding in New Baltimore.
(Joseph Farrell or Thomas Meacham)

What left of families and what’s not “brown trash” or “white trash” is quickly vanishing as the children grow up, go on to their fake higher education, go deeply into debt for a third-rate education but can’t find jobs, struggle to pay back their student loans accrued for their third-rate education (generally because the academic standards in the RCS Central School District are so low, and the RCS CD Board of Education know nothing about education but love to spend money). Once the kids experience what it’s like in the outside world, no one has any plans to go back to their backwater hill-town home towns. They go elsewhere.

Local Village Justice in Ravena deciding a case.
(The notorious former Albany cop taken off the street and assigned a desk job for civil rights abuses, Harold Warner.)

As the children leave the area, what’s left are the parents, aging, miserable, and heavily taxed. Property taxes are some of the highest in the state and with the wild spending practices in the RCS school system — plenty of money for AstroTurf and sports field renovations, seasonal refreshment stand construction, and tennis courts but none for books — aging parents question the value of paying school taxes in a community where there are no children and for the third-world education for “brown” and “white” trash, or for snooty, “me-first” part-time parents (parents who split their time between their personal interests and parenting). The obvious solution: people are selling their homes and moving to areas where, if they must pay high taxes or taxes at all, they will at least get a reasonable quality of life and some public services in return.

The situation in the village of Ravena-, and the towns of Coeymans and New Baltimore merely reflect the general decline and the depressed atmosphere of the New York Capital Region. The whole region is, and has been for generations, rife with thievery and corruption. The corruption starts in the state capital, Albany, and from that nest of depravity, extends its loathesome tentacles out to surrounding communities, even crossing county lines into Schenectady, Rensselaer, Greene counties. It’s a mess.

The entire area has turned into a hippo farm

The unfortunate fact that the Ravenese, the Coeymanites, and the New Baltimorons (a term coined to describe their neighbors by Ghoul’s Gulch denizen, Joan Ross a.k.a. “Cut-and-Paste” Joan and her partner in vileness, “Bitter Bob” Ross, imports from depraved Albany) have to admit is that they owe all their problems and misfortunes to their ignorance and apathy. They could have it much better if they’d simply take an interest in their community instead of complaining and turning into ugly hippos. Yes, dear readers, The entire area has turned into a hippo farm. Depression leads to many things and one of them is a lousy diet, lack of ambition, and obesity.

Two locals having a chat

Ravena and Coeymans is a veritable hippo farm, a breeding ground for every ailment, mental and physical, that accompanies a depressed and apathetic community. And Albany Medical Center is right there to open up yet another EmUrgent Care location, the Walmart of the American healthcare system, where you can go and sit and wait to be seen by an incompetent physician’s assistant who will give you what you are looking for, a fake diagnosis and a prescription, you’ll pay and be on your way. Everyone’s happy: you got your fake diagnosis and prescription, the EmUrgent Care staff got their numbers and are rid of you until your condition worsens and you return for the ambulance ride to the Albany Medical Center emergency department where you will wait 14-20 hours to get a bed and, if you don’t die there, you’ll be dumped out on the street in a couple of days with another fake diagnosis and another useless prescription. Best healthcare system in the world — or so they tell us.

The Bigger Picture

How we got here; where we’re going from here.

Life in the United States has become highly confused and superficial. Confused because the population is bombarded with conflicting and contradicting information from all sides, particularly the media. A general atmosphere of fear and anxiety is foisted upon the American people by everyone from the POTUS on down. Fear of North Korea. Fear of guns. Fear of shooters. Fear of aging. Fear of the cold and flu season. Fear of this or that product. Fear of the weather. Fear of fear.

The anxiety actually starts with fear of failure. Parents and the education system has failed to teach the value of failure as a learning tool. The result has been a downward spiral of expectations and standards to the extent that the education lie has become a reality. The young people graduating from our schools are dirt dumb. But they do know how to thumb-type and how to conceal a weapon so they can shake things up at school.

Albany High School. Once a place of learning the largely minority high school has become a place of violence, criminality, and police presence!

Take as an example the recent student fight phenomenon (See: Update: Albany High will close Friday after fights spilled into street) or weapons in school (See: Student with gun is arrested), as happened recently in Albany High School (Albany,, New York), a huge collection of kids of color (a fancy term for blacks and mixed-race youth) coming from disordered and angry homes, mostly single parent households, if that, who bring their anger and loneliness to school and start shooting or brutalizing each other. Once the shooting starts, the stampedes start. It was all caught on film and broadcast for all to see a week ago. The new entertainment, it seems. The new United States it is. Soon, the government’s first phase of destroying American values will have been concluded: those poorly educated, angry, young people will be churned out into a world that disparages them, a jobless world, a world full of the wrong passions and addictions, and they will likely perpetuate their anger and misery. They will all be churned out not with competencies and confidence but a sense of arrogance and entitlement; self-destructive and depleting.

George Orwell painted a very accurate picture of the world back in 1948, when he penned his prophetic novel, “1984.” It’s all coming true. Then there was Aldous Huxley’s novel “Brave New World,” and  the film “Soylent Green.”

Editor’s Note: Since our schools do not teach literature any longer, and people don’t read real books, being too wrapped up with Facebook and Twitter, truncated, abbreviated virtuality, I’m going to proved a brief synopsis of these novels for our readers:

Brave New World (Aldous Huxley, 1932). The author describes a world, in which citizens are engineered through artificial wombs and childhood indoctrination programs into predetermined classes (or castes) based on intelligence and labor. Lenina Crowne, a hatchery worker, is popular and sexually desirable, but Bernard Marx, a psychologist, is not. He is shorter in stature than the average member of his high caste, which gives him an inferiority complex. His work with sleep-learning allows him to understand, and disapprove of, his society’s methods of keeping its citizens peaceful, which includes their constant consumption of a soothing drug called soma. Courting disaster, Bernard is vocal and arrogant about his criticisms, and his boss contemplates exiling him to Iceland because of his nonconformity. His only friend is Helmholtz Watson, a gifted writer who finds it difficult to use his talents creatively in their pain-free society.

Nineteen-Eighty-Four (“1984”) (George Orwell, 1948).  As literary political fiction and dystopian science-fiction, Nineteen Eighty-Four is a classic novel in content, plot, and style. Many of its terms and concepts, such as Big Brother, doublethink, thoughtcrime, Newspeak, Room 101, telescreen, 2 + 2 = 5, and memory hole, have entered into common use since its publication in 1949 (A complete glossary of “Newspeak“can be found at Newspeak. Nineteen Eighty-Four popularized the adjective Orwellian, which describes official deception, secret surveillance, brazenly misleading terminology, and manipulation of recorded history by a totalitarian or authoritarian state. There’s a great online study guide for “1984” but we think it might be interesting for our readers to first check out the Themes page. It’s an interesting read.

Soylent Green (Film directed by Richard Fleischer, 1973). The 20th century’s industrialization led to overcrowding, pollution and global warming due to the greenhouse effect. In 2022, 40 million people live in New York City; housing is dilapidated; homeless people fill the streets; many are unemployed; those few with jobs are only barely scraping by and food and working technology are scarce with most of the population surviving on rations produced by the Soylent Corporation. Their latest product is Soylent Green, a green wafer advertised to contain “high-energy plankton” from the World Ocean, more nutritious and palatable than its predecessors “Red” and “Yellow” but in short supply. The main characters are New York City Police Department detective Frank Thorn, who lives with his aged friend and police analyst, Solomon “Sol” Roth. Fast foward to the end: Roth is so disgusted with his degraded life in a degraded world that he seeks assisted suicide at a government clinic. Thorn rushes to stop him, but arrives too late. Roth is mesmerized by the euthanasia process’ visual and musical montage – extinct forests, wild animals, rivers and ocean life. Before dying, he tells Thorn his discovery (that Soylent Green is made from human beings) and begs him to expose the truth. Thorn boards a human disposal truck to the disposal center, where he sees the human corpses converted into Soylent Green, but is spotted and has to flee. Returning to make his report, he is ambushed by Fielding and others. In the ensuing firefight, Thorn kills his attackers but is himself wounded. When Hatcher (Thorn’s supervisor) arrives, Thorn tells him what he has discovered and urges him to tell the researchers so that they can make a case against Soylent and to spread the truth about Soylent Green. Hatcher promises that he will. Thorn is taken away by paramedics, shouting out: “Soylent Green is people!”

The apathy and anxiety are fatal to the community. The root cause is that people see so much wrong and wrong-doing, and our elected officials and office holders don’t seem to care, they are indifferent and for the most part incompetent due to inexperience or lack of education and training. Elected office has become an ego enhancement or a way to acquire power and influence and is even used against the voters, taxpayers and property owners. It seem that our elected officials quickly become the enemy and the oppressors, not the promised benefactors we speak to when they’re campaigning.

You’re drowning and you don’t get out of the water? That’s malfunction!

Over the passage of time, just as any disease process, the sufferer becomes tolerant of the pain and discomfort and learns to live with it for better or for worse. That’s what’s happened in our communities and that’s what’s happening across the nation.

You allow your kids to play violent games and shed virtual blood, they become tolerant and insensitive to violence. You allow yourself to spend hours a day on Facebook while you avoid doing more worthwhile things or even necessary things, and you become tolerant to being irresponsible and inefficient; in fact, you become addicted. You allow your elected officials to take you, the voter for granted, you allow them to do as they please while in office with no accountability or transparency, you allow them to treat you with disrespect, you soon become tolerant of it and you get more of the same. Business as usual. But the effect on you is fatal: you lose your dignity, you become apathetic, and your self-esteem plummets. Same things happen to entire communities, to entire nations. It’s happening right now.

The women’s answer to being unable to cope in a “men’s world:” sexual harassment.

The confusion is infiltrating every space in our lives. One example is the confusion we now face regarding the once clearly defined question of gender, and the acceptable behavior between the genders. When the male-female roles were clearer, that is, in the generations where men were men and women were women, there was respect and certainty. The man was the provider and protector, the woman was the nurturer and the educator. Now men are still expected to be men, but women have insisted on invading the previously men’s world, but the women don’t want a level playing field. They want the rules changed: they want to assume male roles but want to keep the advantages associated with being a woman. They want to enter the male world but can’t play the game by the same rules. We now have the women’s answer to being unable to cope in a men’s world: sexual harassment. Whenever a woman feels inadequate or unable to cope, she bounces back with a claim of sexual harassment. If you can’t cope or play by the rules, then just be a victim. Victim is in. But this scenario causes a great deal of confusion because no one feels trusted or safe any more; the result is anxiety everywhere. And that’s just one example of the myriad confusion and anxiety situations. The mistrust of women and the feminist agenda has even affected some men’s desire to even get involved with women, who are now perceived as adversaries, unnatural, predators, opportunists, freaks. Those men might very well be right in their diagnosis of such confused gender benders as many women have become. The Orwellian stigma attached to any charge of “sexual harassment” by any psycho no matter when the alleged event may have occurred, has reached a troubling peak at this writing. A defense is nearly impossible; the merest allegation is politically annihilating. It’s just one of the many diseases of our current culture.

So now you know the facts. What are you going to do about it? How are you going to improve your life, your community, the nation in 2018?

Judge Violates Multiple Traffic Laws in One Trip

This Just in from Our Perv Patrol Reporter

On Thursday, August 24, 2017, at about 3:30 p.m. I was leaving Price Chopper plaza in Glenmont, and was following another vehicle, a Ford F-150 ARE SUV, dark blue, and approaching Glenmont Road. There is a STOP sign there but the vehicle ahead of me ran the STOP signe as if it were invisible. No turn signals. I beeped a warning but it was too late. I pulled out and traveled towards Rt 144 and observed the vehicle to take a right turn onto Anders Lane, a short cut to Rt 144 I usually use, and he barreled down Anders Lane as if it was the Thruway (the recommended speed on that narrow tiny road is 10 mph). He attempted to run the stop sign but apparently reconsidered, seeing oncoming traffic. No signals, he made a right hand turn onto Rt 144. Going my way I followed the vehicle and watched as it weaved back and forth across the yellow line, wheels in the oncoming lane, then moving back across the road onto the shoulder, crossing the while shoulder line. I beeped again because he was obviously having a stroke, drunk or using his phone. Totally oblivious to my warnings the vehicle continue its erratic search for a lane, dangerously on the yellow line until the very last second even when several large trucks were approaching in the oncoming lane. At one point the vehicle crossed the shoulder line and I was almost certain I was going to witness an accident but he then returned to the center line. At this point I noted the license plate and attempted to take a picture of it. I was amazed! The license plate displayed the New York State seal and was an SMA plate, State Magistrates Association, the association whose members are New York State Judges!!!!  999 SMA. Gotcha!!! By now I was curious so I continued behind the vehicle all along 144 into Coeymans, and the vehicle turned right onto Church Street, again no signals. I had to go to Shop’n Save anyway so I continued following him until he turned onto Orchard Avenue and crossed Cary into Woodlawn. I didn’t follow, figuring the driver lived nearby, and so I continued on to Shop’n Save, planning to drive down Cary Street to see if I could find the parked vehicle and get an address. When I arrived at Shop’n Save Guess Who? was pulling in ahead of me! My old friend 999 SMA, the Hazardous Judge!!! I parked a short distance away hoping to get an ID on him but a woman passenger exited, and went into SnS. I tried to ID the driver but he was glaring at me so I avoided a confrontation. Driver: Male, late 50’s early 60’s.

Well, dear readers, there you are. One of our fine judiciary driving like a drunk and violating every rule in the book that he’d throw at you if you had to appear before him with a ticket or two. Of course with the SMA plates, it’s unlikely he’d have been stopped because the cops would ID him as a judge due to his SMA plates. Now is that fair? Why should someone drive like an idiot, endangering other peoples’ lives, breaking the law, and not be answerable.

We have to laugh because the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct posts on its website that judges are to be held to a higher standard of conduct than the average person. We agree but have yet to see any of these arrogant bastards behaving any better than a local hooligan. In fact, most of our local judges are local hooligans, especially our town and village justices, most of whom don’t know their asses from their elbows!

But this enema bag who was observed by our Perv Patrol really needs to be ID-ed and shamed. We have his vehicle make, a Ford F-150, ARE sticker on the rear window, dark blue. His license plate is NY 999 SMA, not going to be hard to spot.

Help us ID this vehicle and it’s owner, the Jerky Judge who can’t pick a lane and stay in it.

If you see this vehicle parked at a residence or at a local town or village office or at a city or county building, please leave a comment. We’ll be working to ID this character but would like community help in putting a finger on him. He’s answerable just like the rest of us are.

You, sir, are an idiot!

Local Law Enforcement Might Need Some Help with the Math: 2 + 2 = Stahlman!

UPDATE! Stay Tuned!more-details

We’ll be reporting soon on developments in the Coeymans Police Department and their criminal investigation performance over the past couple of years. This may be a decisive moment in the Coeymans PD’s future.

Property and Business Owners are the Backbone of Stability and Wealth, and Services in our Communities; They Pay the Bulk of the Taxes and the Bulk of Public Services, Including Law Enforcement. Why is it, then, that Criminals are Running Hog-wild, while Local and State Law Enforcement, and Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares (D), and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione (R) — two elected dorks we can all regret having elected — are standing around diddling each other!?!

And the Investigation Continues ... Is there an echo in there?

There’s an Elephant in the Room!
And Local and State Law Enforcement Have their Heads Up its Ass!
And the Investigation Continues … Find anything? Is there an echo in there?

Well, sometimes local and state law enforcement need a little kick in the …. well, let’s just say a shot in the arm Their math isn’t all that good, either, so we need to give them a little help with what 2 + 2 amounts to.

In a previous article, Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why?, we covered quite a bit of territory in pointing out a large number of crimes committed against local businesses, and that the incidents were going cold. Coeymans Police, Greene County Sheriff’s Department (Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R)), Albany County Sheriff’s Department (Sheriff Craig Apple (D)), New York State Police, all seem to be experiencing some law enforcement impotence, investigational erectile dysfunction, they appear to have gone flaccid, soft on local crime and criminals.

So we did our own investigative reporting gig and here’s what we came up with.

In our earlier article Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? we pointed the finger at a couple of local, small-change criminals, who we felt were the most likely candidates for a cuffing visit by law enforcement and a couple of years as the state’s guest in one of the correctional resorts we call prisons. Since we wrote that first article Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why? we’ve obtained some interesting facts that we feel should have been picked up by our best in blue, those who are there to serve and protect us, but apparently were not, because no arrests have been made.

Here’s what we have:

Zachary C. Stahlman

Zachary C. Stahlman

We noted that Why is it that two prime suspects, Zachary C. Stahlman (Glenmont) and Donald J. Howell, both with criminal records, Stahlman once being charged with misdemeanor possession of a firearm, have not gotten some real attention by local law enforcement?  Charles H. Stahlman (Zachary Stahlman’s father) 52, was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument after using forged $20 and $10 bills at an estate sale on Sunday, State Police in New Scotland. (Source: Times Union, Tuesday, November 15, 2016) Stahlman Sr runs Fat Cat Transport L.L.C. in Coeymans Hollow. Guess where? On Shady Lane. Really! (Source: http://findnycorp.com/corporation.php?id=4650392)

You’re in Good Hands with Allstate. Really?

allstate_sm

According to Zachary Stahlman’s LinkedIn site, he  is employed by Allstate Insurance Company  (click the link) as a “sales producer”; Now you really know you’re in “good hands with Allstate”. Doesn’t Allstate vet their employees? Don’t they do background checks?

We’ve established a connection between the Stahlmans and the victims of the recent crimes. Here’s how we did the math for them :

Charles H. Stahlman Z. Stahlman's father

Charles H. Stahlman
Z. Stahlman’s father

Back in November 2015, Zachary Stahlman and his father, Charles H. Stahlman,  visited a local business on US Route 9W, All Safe Storage, who had a property for lease. The Stahlmans were interested in the property for a flea market business they were starting, Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C.  According to their Internet posting, Fat Cat Antiques, L.L.C. had their Grand Opening on January, 2, 2016, at 1635 Route 9W, Selkirk, the property the Stahlmans leased in November 2015 (click here). So in November 2015, Zachary C. Stahlman, signed a lease contract and entered into a 6-month lease, which was to commence on January 1, 2016. That means there was at least one month during which Stahlman could have voiced any concerns about the premises but didn’t. The landlords were very generous to Stahlman and offered December rent-free, if Stahlman would help remove the owner’s property from the premises. Stahlman showed up for one day and then disappeared. The landlords also reduced the rent for the first six months so that Stahlman could get his business started and established. Of course, that would have meant a stable tenant, they thought. But they were in for a big surprise. No good deed goes unpunished, especially when you’re dealing with low life.

So Stahlman signs the lease, initially every page after the text “Tenant initials confirming that they have read/understood items on page.” We have a copy of the lease agreement and every page is initialed “ZS”, Zachary Stahlman. Stahlman’s father, Charles H. Stahlman, writes a check for the first and the last month’s rent, plus one month’s rent security deposit, a total of $2400.

Stahlman had to get insurance for the premises according to the lease, and he had to get utilities, etc. all in his name. In addition, he had to arrange for heating oil to heat the premises. January 1, 2016, rolls in and Stahlman still hasn’t gotten the insurance finalized and he’s working on the utilities. In the meantime, the landlord is installing a new heating system, all Stahlman has to do is get a fuel delivery. By this time Stahlman has the keys and possession of the premises.

Around January 6, 2016, without informing the landlords, Stahlman has Persico Oil nosing around the property — as it turns out, Stahlman called Persico to “inspect” — and Stahlman shows the so-called service technician, Jack Carona, the new furnace installation. The landlords note that Persico Oil and Carona are on the property and assume he’s there to make the oil delivery. But more than a month later, the landlords are made aware of a report by Carona about the new heating system on the premises. Total rubbish and totally ignorant, Carona makes an unfounded conclusion about what he saw in the few minutes he was on the premises, but never inquired with the landlords! Says a lot about the professionality of Persico Oil Company and its Loony Tune employees!

A Lease is a Contract

According to information we received, Stahlman’s father, Charles H. Stahlman (Glenmont), runs Fat Cat Transportation L.L.C. out of Coeymans Hollow, and Charles H. was actually starting the business, Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C., and Zachary C. Stahlman was going to run Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C. So it get fishy already at the lease signing. Now, remember, the son, Zachary C. Stahlman is signing the lease but his father, Charles H. Stahlman, is writing the check.

So Zachary C. is trying to open a flea market. Usually a flea market rents space to people who want to sell their junk, and we assume that Zachary C. was trying to get renters but wan’t all too successful. Anyway, he signs the lease contract on November 24, 2015, then he moves some of his stuff in around January 6, 2016, and then, on January 11, 2016, texts the landlord that he doesn’t want to lease the premises any more. He demands his rent and security back, and threatens the landlords in a number of text messages. He fabricates every sort of excuse and threatens the landlords with “inspections.”

Note that Stahlman unilaterally  terminates the lease on January 11th but does not return the keys; in other words, he keeps possession and continues to occupy the premises! But he demands his money back. You can’t make this crap up; all you have to do is do business in Coeymans.

So, on February 3, 2016, well after Stahlman notifies the landlords he’s terminating the lease, the landlords receive a letter from their friends in the Coeymans Building Department, from our old buddy Sandy DeBacco, you know the building inspector who works full time at the airport, and works for the Town of Coeymans, and for the Village of Ravena, the only guy we know who can be in three places at the same time and has a 36-hour day created especially for his personal use. [For more on Debacco character, just search this site!]  But all that aside, we all know about Twilight Zone Coeymans and Ravena. So, our little gremlin Zachary Stahlman breaks the lease, commits multiple breaches of contract, demands his money — actually it’s not even his money, it’s his father’s (is it real or counterfeit, we have to ask) — and makes good on his threats of  “inspections.” But that’s not all.

Stahlman doesn’t think that a lease agreement really amounts to anything and that the world is his oyster. He starts getting uppity when the landlords don’t immediately obey and hand over more than $2000 to this ignorant brat, and here’s where it starts to get really nasty.

On July 16, 2016, the first sign of craziness is when one of the landlord’s vehicles is parked in his driveway and the dealer plates are stolen. The landlord notifies the Greene County Sheriff.

Then in August 2016, the landlords are served with a summons to small claims court by Stahlman. Stahlman is bringing the landlords to court in New Baltimore. At the time the freak town justice Lee Davis is still town justice. If you’ve read anything we’ve written about Davis, he’s a real lunatic. He’s supposed to be a lawyer but has spent most of his career advocating for the rights of convicted criminals and now works for the New York State Department of Health, enforcing “discipline” on doctors. So you see, Davis has two things on his agenda: protect the criminal element and punish the professional. Just what you want in a judge, right? Read our pre-election article on Davis based on information obtained from his own brother, New Baltimore town justice Lee Davis.

car-fireThen, on September 12, 2016,  Ford Sedan set on fire on 9W Auto LLC, the landlord’s business lot..  Reported to Coeymans Police. Investigation in progress. Like so many others.

So the case is heard in September 2016. No decision is made by Davis until more than 90 days later, on December 31, 2016, the day before his term of office as town justice ends. (Thanks to our efforts, Lee Davis got the boot on election day.)  You see, we ran a couple of pieces on Davis exposing him as a real perv and screwball. Even his own brother provided information about Davis that would make your hair stand on end! So Davis lost the election. The people of New Baltimore decided they didn’t want the likes of Davis on the bench. But in the meanwhile the cowardly criminal suspects are busy at their trade. But, remember, Stahlman and the landlords are in court, but no one knows what Davis is going to decide. Could go either way and under those conditions Stahlman, Zachary C. and good ol’ Fat Cat dad, Charles H., are really getting ansy about their money, all $2400 of it. So Fat Cat dad gets all out-of-order in court and is removed from the courtroom, and spends an hour or two in the Town Hall parking lot. And guess what? The landlords leave the courtroom and they find that the dealer plates have been removed from their vehicle. Wonder who could’ve done that? Greene County Sheriff is notified.

Stahlman: “What do I owe you?”,  DeVoe: “It’s taken care of.”

This just in: We have received a report that someone present at the trial in September 27, 2016, in New Baltimore Town Court, tells us that when Zachary Stahlman asked his attorney, “What do I owe you?”, she replied, “It’s taken care of.” Well that raises some questions, indeed. How is it that attrorney Susan Hoblock deVoe, of the Latham real-estate law firm of Kerr Devoe P.C. is appearing for several hours in New Baltimore Town Court for nothing? At least Stahlman wan’t on the hook for a couple of hundred dollars in attorney’s fees.

Stahlman Attorney

Stahlman’s Attorney

Do you think that Ms Devoe is getting a little white trash delight on the side? We can’t figure out that some trailer trash, minimum wage woodchuck like Zachary Shaltman could afford a Latham attorney the likes of Susan Hoblock DeVoe! But maybe there’s something bigger here than just a couple of back-woods petty criminals with an axe to grind. Maybe Susan Hoblock DeVoe is on someone else’s payroll and taking orders from someone else, that someone else backing these attacks on All Safe Storage and 9W Auto L.L.C.  Are the local bosses trying to drive them out, away from their valuable property so that Biscone and Co. can expand their empires? Maybe this goes back to the Biscone-Conrad-Deluca landgrab schemes of several years ago. Maybe, DeVoe and her white trash clients are all in on the same conspiracy. Maybe the NYS Police should be interviewing Ms DeVoe or Mr Michael Biscone to find out why she isn’t taking the Stahlmans to the cleaners like she would anyone else. We can’t ask the Albany County Sheriff’s Department or the Coeymans Police Department, both slaves to Democrat machines,  to do that because they’re all taking orders from that Oreo, P. David Soares. The New York State Police might have more scruples and be less partial to the Albany County DA’s office.

But the Stahlmans are still out more than $2000 and they’ve a broken lease but have no decision on whether they’re getting their money back or not. By this time they’re really getting pissed. Desperate men do desperate things.

On October 3, 2016, less than a week after the court appearance and the theft of the second set of dealer plates, one of the landlords gets a text message from telephone number 207-XXXX  “To get these back you will need to send 2000 dollars in bitcoin to wallet address:  12kWJzohnx9NMUssT5 SEebrW5pb5LHs1MK   you have one week or they will be sold. Buyers are already lined up if you refuse”    Greene County Sheriff notified and provided with information. Do they note the coincidence? $2400 for the lease and $2000 for the dealer plates. Do you think the Sheriff’s Department or Coeymans got the coincidence? Apparently not.

Sheriff, DA ... What can it all mean?

Sheriff, DA, Coeymans PD …
What can it all mean?

So now we have a broken lease, a small claims action, two instances of stolen dealer plates, a text message practically putting up the culprits in neon lights, and has anyone been arrested yet? Nope.

On October 28, 2016, the owner of All Safe Storage, also the owner of 9W Auto LLC, was sitting in his office when a vehicle drove by and discharged a shotgun blast, perhaps two blasts, into the front door of the office, destroying the door and peppering the front of the building with pellets. The owner was in the office but fortunately was not injured. Yes, we reported on this drive – by shooting in our article Drive-by Shooting Arrives in RCS Coeymans Police Department, NYS Police, etc. present at the scene. Investigation etc. The case is still “open.” No suspects have been arrested. Do you really feel safe in Coeymans? Really desperate men do really desperate things.

Most recently, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, the owner of 9W Auto L.L.C. arrived on his lot to find the tires on six vehicles slashed. Coeymans police notified. Incident under investigation. Sure it is.

Law Enforcement is Cooperating on this Case

Local Law Enforcement and the New York State Police are Cooperating in the Investigations.

A couple of very obvious suspects are available, if the Coeymans Police are interested. There’s Zachary C. Stahlman who has a history of run–ins with the victims. Stahlman leased 1635 US RT 9w November 2015 with move in date of January 1, 2016.  Stahlman defaults on the lease in January and returns the keys in February.  Stahlman retaliates by bringing the landlords to small claims in New Baltimore Town Court, before failed and defeated New Baltimore Town Justice Lee Davis (D), and the case is heard by Davis on Sept. 27, 2016 for return of security/last months lease payment.  Davis loses the election and makes an 11th hour retaliation decision against the landlords. Davis’ decision dated December 31, 2016, more than 90 days later, is received by the landlords on January 6, 2017.  This is the Stahlman whose father is ejected from the courtroom for disorderly conduct. Still wondering where the dealer plates went? The case is being appealed by the landlords for obvious reasons. Former New Baltimore Town Justice Lee Davis (D) has quite a bit of baggage — his own brother turned on him — if you missed the drama, see our article, Double-Standard Davis: Asking New Baltimore for another Term as Town Justice?

New Baltimore's Two Freak Justices: Lee A. Davis about to smack down Joseph A. Farrell (in the black nightgown).

New Baltimore’s Two Freak Justices:
Lee A. Davis (defeated) about to “Biatch!” smack down
Joseph A. Farrell (shown in the black nightgown).
Davis and Farrell are two good reasons why the NYS Unified Court System should eliminate the town and village court system. Farrell has recently been taxidermized (stuffed judging by his expression) and can be seen performing his clown act in New Baltimore Town Court on alternate Tuesdays.

It would seem that Charles H. Stahlman, Zachary C. Stahlman’s father, would be at the top of the investigators’ lists. In November 2016, Charles H. Stahlman, 52, was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument after using forged $20 and $10 bills at an estate sale on Sunday, State Police in New Scotland. (Source: Times Union, Tuesday, November 15, 2016) Stahlman Sr runs Fat Cat Transport L.L.C. in Coeymans Hollow. Guess where? On Shady Lane. Really! (Source: http://findnycorp.com/corporation.php?id=4650392) Do you think Zach was going to stock the flea market with merchandise purchased by his father, Charles H. using counterfeit $20 and $10 bills? Maybe.

Stahlman: "You DORKS!"

Stahlman: “You DORKS!”
Got change for a 20?

Here’s the clincher: Our little friend Zachary C. Stahlman has a bit of a criminal history that goes back to 2010. Here’s what we found: On August 20, 2010 state police charged Zachary C. Stahlman, then 19, of Albany with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon: a firearm, both Class A misdemeanors. Stahlman was issued appearance tickets returnable to Greenville Town Court. Now isn’t that interesting.  (Source: Daily Mail, Greene Police Blotter, Wednesday, August 25, 2010) And again, unlicensed driving: Zachary C. Stahlman, 25, of Albany, was arrested at 11:00 a.m. Oct. 20, 2016, and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. This Stahman character has a bit of a history, doesn’t he? Wonder if the Coeymans Police or the Greene County Sheriff or anyone else picked up that little tidbits?

And another prime candidate with a big mouth is Donald J. Howell. Howell works for Capital Taxi in Albany. Howell’s wife, Miranda Cote, is allegedly an hourly employee with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance (information obtained from See Through NY). The suspect signed a one – year lease with the victims for property that was to be used as a flea market at 1635 US Rt 9W. Howell stopped paying rent in December 2016, and had no insurance. In October 2016, Howell rented 1362 US Rt 9W from the victims as a residence.  Howell did not pay January rent and was given 30 day notice in December to vacate premises.   Howell was identified by local Stewart’s store staff as having announced that he was going to damage the victims’ property. When the Coeymans PD officer was investigating the crime was offered the names of the witnesses he responded that ‘he didn’t need them.’ A NYS trooper on the scene took the names. Question: What did he do with the names?

We're close to making an arrest...in the near future, sometime soon...maybe...

We’re close to making an arrest…in the near future … sometime soon … maybe …

Donald J. Howell was arrested by Cobleskill Troopers on May 15, 2014, in Troy unlawful possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a controlled substance in non-original container (Source: Daily Star, Police Blotter, June 21, 2014). that wasn’t Howell’s first brush with the law. Donald J. Howell, then 19,  and Duncan Clancy, then 16,  were charged on July 1, 2001, with an attempt at a class D felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell; and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, second degree (Source: The Altamont Enterprise, Blotters and Dockets, July 19, 2001). There may be more on this druggie criminal but we’re not law enforcement and we’re not going to do their jobs for them. Did the Coeymans Police and the Greene County Sheriff miss this information, too?

We’re watching this situation very closely and we’ll keep our readers updated on the developments — when, if law enforcement can do the math: 2 +  2 = Stahlman.

Law Enforcement, District Attorneys:I don't get it. Can you explain that to me again?

Law Enforcement, District Attorneys:
I don’t get it. Can you explain that to me again?

Stupidity Does Cross Party Lines

connect-the-dotsWhen you have this much to go on how can you possibly not connect the dots? We think we really need to think about these elected officials very seriously next elections because they are flat out useless: Albany County Sheriff, Craig Apple (D): Useless; Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R): Useless;  Albany County DA P. David “The Oreo” Soares, Less than Useless; Greene County DA Joseph Stanzione, Useless. Apparently, stupidity does cross party lines.

Criminals Thumbing Their Noses to Law Enforcement? Why?

Over the past two years or so we’ve been very fair to local law enforcement, very gentle, and quiet but always watching. We’ve kept our ear to the ground and now it’s time to take off the gloves and ask some burning, critical questions. Why is it that two prime suspects, Zachary C. You’re in Good Hands with Allstate. Really?

allstate_sm[Editor’s Note: Zachary C. Stahlman recently breached a lease agreement made with a local landlord for premises for a flea market called, Guess what? Fat Cat Antiques L.L.C. It’s not ISIS or alQaeda nor the Russians nor Alexandr Putin we have to worry about, people, it’s the thug next door or the low-life you’re renting to, and law enforcement’s conspicuous inability to enforce the law and to protect our citizens — or worse still, their refusal to do so. Excuses don’t keep our residents, businesses, property safe from criminals.

Kiss ma ass, cops!

Kiss ma ass, cops!
Lendin, Stahlman, Howell

Something’s — still —  rotten in Coeymans, Albany County, and Greene County. According to information we have received on crimes being committed in the Town of Coeymans and the Town of New Baltimore are being put on the back burner. It seems local criminals are thumbing their noses to local law enforcement and getting away with everything from theft to major vandalism to driveby shootings. So our question is this:

Where is law enforcement and What is local law enforcement doing about all of this criminal activity.

Actually, it’s nothing new and has been going on for some time now.

There are several possibilities: Either law enforcement is asleep on the job and is making no effort to protect local residents and businesses from criminals, or law enforcement is unable to do their jobs. The Coeymans Police Department is small and under–equipped, thanks to Coeymans Town Supervisor Phil Crandall (D) and his harem,  but even so, can ask for assistance from the New York State Police but Coeymans has to request assistance, since the crime scene is in Coeymans’ jurisdiction. What Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley (R) and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione (R) are doing is short of nothing. Seeley has a big mouth when it comes campaign time just before he’s up for election and then he’s real tough on crime. What happens after the elections is anybody’s guess but it does seem he goes a bit flaccid, a bit limp, some erectile dysfunction there, a bit soft on crime. As for Greene County DA Joe Stanzione, he’s been notified about a number of law enforcement failings and seems to have gone deaf or something. Maybe he’s brain dead but he seems to be out to lunch with Seeley when it comes to law enforcement. So what gives, Greene County media? Have you all gone Republican-soft — We thought that was a Dem thing, a Liberal thing…Right Mr Soares? — on crime? What are we financing Greene County law enforcement, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, to do? Give free rein to the crooks and criminals in Greene County? We want some answers and quick!

It’s totally ridiculous when you think that the suspects can steal NYS dealer plates from a car in the New Baltimore Town Hall parking lot right under the noses of the Greene County Sheriff’s deputies who would be in the courtroom and also have a satellite station in the New Baltimore Town Hall. You can’t make this stuff up! It’s disgusting, really.

As for Albany County, that cesspool has been a den of corruption and crooks since time immemorial. We all know about Albany County DA P. David Soares and his collection of morons — not servants of the people but servants of the system — in the Albany County DA’s office. Take for instance Soares’ reputation as being the worst DA in the country. The most notable thing Soares has done since he’s been in office is to play the Soul Train race ticket to get re–elected, and then Soares the Oreo turns around and screws the black community. And then there’s his little bunch of trollops like Chantelle Cleary and Carmen Warner, daughter of Nancy Warner, Ravena village trustee, and Harold “Hal” Warner, Ravena village justice, who were involved in some indecency on Facebook, had to resign from their positions in Soares’ office. Well, that’s OK since Michael Biscone collected Soares’ garbage and hired Warner. If you don’t recall the incident, see our article The Warners: A Family Tradition of Misconduct

It gets worse when we have to look back to the days of Gerald “Dirty-Hands” Deluca and Gregory “Dumplin'” Darlington when they were running the Coeymans Police Department and Ravena-Coeymans. There’s the story of Scott Lendin, who vandalized several vehicles on the 9W Auto LLC lot, and stole electronic equipment out of one of the vehicles. He had the equipment in his possession when apprehended. Lendin even allegedly announced that he “had friends in the Bethlehem Police Department,” and he obviously had friends in the Coeymans Police Department and the local courts, too. Because when he appeared before then justice Phillip Crandall, who has since been disgraced and removed from the court and banned from ever running for judicial office again — but who then ran for public office as Coeymans Town Supervisor and was elected by Coeymans voters. Well, the Coeymans Police Department either because of their “special relationships” with the local criminal element or as retaliation, dragged their feet in the Lendin investigation until Lendin was released with less than a slap on the hand. No doubt Deluca and Dardiani had colluded to screw up the investigation, and Albany DA Soares was up to his neck in corruption with Deluca and Dardiani. After all, Darlington’s wife was working in Soare’s office as a secretary at the time. Can you imagine the information that got leaked to and from the Coeymans PD from the DA’s office and back? We reported on this and much more back in . If you don’t remember, you can read our article, Exposé: The Lost Felonies, to refresh your memory.

When Deluca and Darlington were “forced” to resign from the Coeymans Police Department, and P.J. McKenna, a veteran police investigator and law enforcement professional, was hired to be Coeymans Police Chief and to reform the Coeymans Police Department, we were skeptical and still demanding that the Coeymans Police Department be eliminated outright. But we gave McKenna a decent chance and left him alone to allow him to do his thing. Was that a miscalculation on our part?

We are now asking ourselves the big question: Has anything changed? Or are the criminals still in control of the Town of Coeymans?

Well, anyone who’s been tracking the Crandall goons in Coeymans Town Hall, knows damned well that the criminals are in control of Town Hall. Anyone who thinks otherwise is probably on Crandall’s staff payroll. No money for the Coeymans Town Clerk or for the Coeymans Police Department but plenty of money for Crandall’s harem, even if they haven’t got a clue how to run a computer. Right, Nita Chmielewski?

Has the Deluca-Darlington Clown Show become the Crandall-Youmans Sitcom?

Has the Deluca-Darlington Clown Show become the Crandall-Youmans Sitcom?
(Shown left to right: Phil Crandall, Nita Chmielewski, Jim Youmans)

But back to local law enforcement… There’s something really fishy going on in our community, and it looks like the criminals are thumbing their noses to law enforcement, telling them to kiss their criminal asses. Since we published our article on the “Lost Felonies” back in March 2013, during the Deluca – Darlington clown show, we had hoped that things might have changed and that with a professional law enforcement veteran in the chief’s office, things would be getting done and done fairly and legally. We’re having our doubts, though.

sorry-no-change_smDeluca and Darlington had no qualms about doing whatever it took to keep their handlers happy and themselves in their jobs. Retaliation was the rule rather than the exception. Police abuse of power and harassment were routine. Obstruction of justice was the S.O.P. All you have to do is go back and search our articles for the horrible state of affairs in Ravena – Coeymans just two years ago. All you have to do is F.O.I.L. the list of complaints filed against the Coeymans Police Department and its officers. It’s in the public record. Our concern is that with Deluca and Darlington the law was ignored and abused — and all that with the complicity and cooperation of the local town and village courts and justices, not to mention the Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares — , and residents were not protected from the criminals; we have new faces in the Coeymans Police Department, and while the outright public abuse has disappeared from view, little appears to have changed in terms of public safety!

Residents and Businesses are Under Attack!

But there’s still something sinister going on. Crimes are being committed and the investigations are going stale, if the crimes are investigated at all. And Coeymans Town Hall and law enforcement does nothing but point fingers. McKenna cries that Crandall is depriving the Coeymans PD of resources to which the Coeymans PD is entitled; Crandall responds that Coeymans has no money (but he keeps hiring his minions and populating his office with numerous clerks and girly friends). McKenna blubbers that he doesn’t have the staff or the equipment to properly do his job but he doesn’t ask for help from the NYS Police or the Albany County Sheriff. So the criminals party and local businesses and residents are placed at risk. Is this the “serve and protect” and the government services we expect? Drop the egos you dumbasses; residents and businesses are under attack!

There is Hard Evidence and Corroborating Evidence!

There is Hard Evidence and Corroborating Evidence!
But local law enforcement in Coeymans and Greene County have gone erectile dysfunction, soft on crime!

Make your own decisions. Here’s the timeline on several incidents that have occurred to one single business owner living in New Baltimore and owning property and doing business in the Town of Coeymans:

  • On March 2013:  Scott Lendin vandalizes several vehicles at 9W Auto LLC, steals electronic equipment from one of the vehicles, is apprehended, “has friends in the Bethlehem PD”, appears before Phil Crandall, and goes Scott [no pun intended]  free. Admittedly, that was during the Deluca – Darlington police – state regime (see below for more on this). But let’s go on….
  • On August 2015:  All copper plumbing stolen out of 2530-34  property on Rt  9W, Town of Coeymans – over $7,000 to replace and repair the damage.  Still an open case with Coeymans Police Department. Just a few feet down the road, the insurance broker’s office was burglarized. Is that still open, too?  No update from Coeymans Police Department on this case, except that it’s still “open.”
  • On July 16, 2016:  Dealer plate stolen off auto in 9W Auto owner’s driveway. Greene County Sheriffs called for investigation. No update from Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
  • On September 12, 2016:  Ford Sedan set on fire on 9W Auto lot in the Town of Coeymans.  Reported to Coeymans Police Department for investigation. No update from Coeymans Police Department. Case still “open.”
  • On September 27, 2016: NYS dealer plates stolen while victims car, again the owner of 9W Auto LLC,  is parked at the New Baltimore Town Hall while owners are in court with suspect Stahlman. During the proceedings, Stahlman’s father is thrown out of court for being disorderly, and spends a couple of hours outside; during that time he and has motive and opportunity to remove the dealer plates during the time he is outside the courtroom.  The theft is notified to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. No update on the investigation. Case still “open.” [Editor’s Note: The Town of New Baltimore has a Greene County Sheriff’s Deparment satellite station in the town hall. It was constructed with prisoner slave labor using prisoners from the Coxsackie Corrections facility.]
  • On October 3, 2016: The owners of 9W Auto LLC receive a text from telephone number 207-5523  “To get these back you will need to send $2000 dollars to as bitcoin wallet address. The text gives the victims one week to pay the ransom or threatens that the dealer plates will be sold, stating that “buyers are already lined up if you refuse.” Greene County Sheriffs Department, Gregory Seeley (R), notified and provided with information. No update from Greene County Sheriff’s Department. What in hell is going on here? Any questions, readers? The Greene County Sheriff’s department has a text from a working telephone number, and a message demanding $2,000 for stolen dealer plates, and what doe they do with this information? Your guess is as good as ours but they’re doing obviously NOTHING!!!!
  • On October 28, 2016: the owner of All Safe Storage, also the owner of 9W Auto LLC, was sitting in his office when a vehicle drove by and discharged a shotgun blast, perhaps two blasts, into the front door of the office, destroying the door and peppering the front of the building with pellets.
  • Just a couple of days ago, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, the 9w Auto LLC owner arrives at his lot and  finds tires slashed and flattened on six cars and one truck –  The business owner called 911 for Sheriff assistance. Albany County Sheriffs deputies “busy at airport” and so the Albany County Sheriff’s Department contacted Coeymans Police Department.  A single rookie patrolman appears to investigate this major crime. Chief P.J. McKenna was notified of the criminal activity.  [Editor’s Note: After we left the scene, just a short time after the Coeymans patrolman left, we drove by Mayone’s Plaza and observed two Coeymans PD cars and two Coeymans patrolmen “processing” a motorist. We have to admit, they have their priorities, don’t they?] By the way, we have learned that on January 30, 2017, almost 24 hours after having discovered the vandalism, a Coeymans Police Department detective appears on the scene to investigate.  Several thousands of dollars in damage not to mention the fact that new tires have to be purchased and time and effort expended to replace the destroyed tires. Any guesses, readers, where this one is going?

In fact, we visited the crime scene on Sunday, shortly after the Coeymans patrolman left the scene, and we were shown plenty of evidence, even footprints showing how the perps entered the property and exited it, from the neighboring restaurant parking lot! There was even  — several patches of blood in the snow. Hopefully the rookie patrolman collecting the blood didn’t screw up the evidence!. Obviously the perps cut themselves when vandalizing the cars. Wouldn’t you think that the cops would be checking out the footprints and suspects to see if they had any recent cuts? Maybe. Time will tell but judging by the past performance of our law enforcement pros; we wouldn’t put any money on this bet.

Furthermore, it’s not as if these incidents are occurring hundreds of miles apart! They’re occurring at locations just a couple of minutes away from each other; it appears obvious that the victims are being singled out by a person or persons with an ax to grind. There is obvious motive and plenty of opportunity and several suspects are known. What we don’t understand is that with evidence like that text message and the demand for $2,000 that some law enforcement agency — Coeymans Police, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, Greene County Sheriff Gregory Seeley, NYS Police — haven’t apprehended the criminals and why the perps are not in custody!!!! And where is Albany County District Attorny P. David Soares and Greene County District Attorney Joseph Stanzione on these crimes and the failure of their law enforcement people to take some action??? These are questions we can start asking when they’re campaigning for re-election soon.

We're on the case. We're investigating.

We’re on the case. We’re investigating.
Or is law enforcement just dancing the dance?

So, readers, who are the suspects? We don’t think we’re interfering with a police investigation —  if there’s any investigation being done at all — at this late point in time, so we’re happy to share what we have found out:

"Big Mouth" Hillman

Donald “Big Mouth” Howell

What do the witnesses have to say? Have you even interviewed them?

What do the witnesses have to say?
Have you even interviewed them?

We’re just wondering if the Stahlmans and Howells have any relationship with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department or DA Joe Stanzione’s office. Is there a connection with the Coeymans Police Department or the Albany Machine? Do ya think there might be a connection?

Property owners and business operators in the Town of Coeymans and elsewhere are the pillars of the communities; they pay the majority of taxes that go into paying pubic employees, like law enforcement, and the salaries of elected and public officials. Property and business owners pay for our schools and libraries, too. The very schools and libraries and public services that the criminals and low-life like them are benefiting from at the expense of the very property owners and business operators they are victimizing, and the police are failing to protect! You certainly don’t think that the likes of the Stahlmans, Howells and similar trash are carrying their weight in the community, do you? and the What do you think you’ll have when the criminals drive out more business from Coeymans if law enforcement continues to drag its feet in ensuring that Coeymans and our communities are safe for us all?

So, that’s just one victim, who has been victimized multiple times in recent months. Don’t you wonder why our local news media aren’t reporting these stories? Why is this all hush – hush? What is local law enforcement doing with their time anyway? Well, we do know that they’re not at NYS Thruway Plaza 22 enforcing the stop sign laws. And we do know that they’re not controlling the meanderings of the huge vehicles traveling up and down Rt 144 and moving through Ravena. And we do know that they’re not apprehending suspects or solving any local crimes. That we do know. And what we want now is answers. Lots of answers. And they’d better be forthcoming or we’re going to come down real hard on law enforcement with some real investigative reporting, and some probing questions. And we don’t think it’s going to be pretty.

One final question: When if becomes obvious that the criminals have the upper hand and that law enforcement is incompetent, how do citizens protect themselves and their property? When they drive by shooting, do we shoot back? When they trespass and vandalize our property, do we protect ourselves and our property? Or do we call 911 and get excuses and no answers? If the police can’t enforce the law and keep us safe, what about some good old frontier justice? What do you think?

Editor’s Postscript

It seems that local residents have short memories so we’d like to refresh your memories. Remember just a couple of years ago, the Deluca-Darlington police state persecuted the sitting president of the RCS Board of Education, who was wrongfully and falsely accused of harassing Josephine (Tracy) O’Connor, by allegedly calling her “fat.” The BoE president was arrested and arraigned, although eye witnesses reported that the accusation was totally false. See our article Congratulations!  Do you also remember that Josephine O’Connor’s father, alleged alcoholic and druggie, Joseph “Joe” Tracy accosted a local business woman at her place of business, hurling abuse and profanities, in the presence of eye witnesses, and when the woman attempted to file a complaint with the Coeymans Police Department, then part-time homey, Kerry Thompson, an employee of the Albany County Sheriff’s Department, cuddle toy of Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, refused to take the complaint! Of course, at the time Thompson was alledgedly “doing” bimbo rookie Dawn Crosier, who was later fired. Have you forgotten the harassment of local kids, the illegal searches and seizures. The false complaint made by Cathy Deluca about harassment in her illegal Ravena Health and Fitness Center and the refusal of the Coeymans Police Department to follow-up even though a tape recording was produced in evidence showing she lied to the police. Coeymans PD Jason Albert was in charge of that investigation ignored the evidence against Deluca — most likely out of fear of “Dirty-Hands” Jerry Deluca’s and Dumplin” Darlington’s bullying — and did nothing (Albert has since been promoted to ‘detective’. Does a cop apprehend another cop’s hippo wife? Well, usually only if he wants to break off a piece of that ass candy. Promotion must be the reward in the Coeymans PD for obstructing justice.)Have we forgotten the regular harassment by certain Coeymans PD employees, the disappearing complaints, the disappearing felonies? The collusion of the Coeymans and Ravena Courts with their friends and insiders in Village Hall and Town Hall? And let’s  not forget the land-grab conspiracies of Laverne “Larry” Conrad — abusing his position as Town of Coeymans Code Enforcement Officer —and Michael Biscone — in his various conflict-of-interest roles as town/village attorney and real estate attorney — and their friends at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Conrad, Biscone and others had the Coeymans Police Department snugly and cozily in their hip pockets under the honchoship of Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca and his darling dumplin’  Gregory Darlington. In the meantime, Coeymans, your former dumbass fraud police chief, Gregory A. “Dumplin” Darlington is collecting more than $41,000 a year in pension benefits at your expense. And Jerry “Dirty Hands” Deluca is collecting more than $22, 000 a year in pension benefits for his abuse of Coeymans residents. Deluca and Darlington may have been forced to retire but they’re laughing all the way to the bank! The list could go on but all you have to do is search for a couple of names — you should know them — on this blog.  Are you ready to take action against the criminal takeover of your property and businesses? Our law enforcement leaders have to be made accountable to US! They have to answer at our town and village meetings! This includes our county elected Sheriffs, whom we elected to ensure enforcement of our laws and our public safety. If you agree, leave a comment!

For your information, local media, News 6, News 10, News 13, Times Useless, Columbia-Greene Media were all offered details of this story. So far no one’s published. We really matter, don’t we?

We’ve heard that an investigator employed by the Coeymans Police Department runs a side business installing surveillance cameras. It also appears that that investigator recommends his products and services to crime victims. If this is being done during or in the course of a crime scene investigation, it appears to us to be highly unethical, even a conflict of interest. We’re looking into this too. That sounds like something Josephine Bruno (a Biscone, at Prudential Real Estate) or Michael Biscone (also a Biscone) would do with Larry Conrad in their land-grabbing conspiracies. Josephine was in the Ravena Village Clerk’s office and connected with the Ravena Village hall and got insider information on properties in the area. It’s also no secret how Michael Biscone, a crooked attorney in Ravena, connived and conspired with Larry Conrad, Coeymans Code Enforcement Officer, and others, including contacts in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, to start problems for local landowners and then to pick up the property real cheap. Let’s hope the story of the Coeymans PD investigator is just a rumor. But our experience and local culture would indicate that it’s very true.

Crandall Board Puts Spin on Budget Error — Uses Censorship to Suppress Truth!

  • Urgent Correction and Apology: Back in November 2015, we wrote that Coeymans voters, having elected disgraced former town justice Phillip Crandal to be Coeymans Town Supervisor, and after having elected several local recycled politicos back into public office after having rejected them just four years ago, we must make the urgent correction to what we then wrote as well as extending an apology to town of Coeymans voters: We were in error when we wrote that the town of Coeymans deserves what they voted for; that was the error. The correction is: Not even Coeymans deserves what they now have sitting on the town board headed by disgraced ex – judge Phillip Crandal and his partners in crimes Tom Dolan, Jim Youmans, and that backstabbling sneaky arse, Dick [as in dork] Touchette, who you elected to the Albany County legislature. No, not even the ignorant and the corrupt of the town of Coeymans deserves that load of raw sewerage. And so we apologize for the error, and correct it.

Crandall Censors Flach Letter, Covers Crandall-Mob’s Back

Crooks and corruption covering for each other at the expense of honest employees and taxpayers

Phil Crandall's Truth Requires Censorship

Phil Crandall’s Version of Truth Requires Censorship

The most recent flood of misinformation that Phil Crandall and his mob are drowning the community in was discussed at the April 21, 2016, Coeymans town board meeting. The rather lengthy discussion focused on an alleged overpayment to about 8 town employees, allegedly all elected officials, and the majority of those being attacked are the opposition party. But guess What? In order to backstab the Republican elected officials, Crandall had to throw his two democrap town justices Kevin Reilly and George Dardiani and boardmember Tom Dolan under the bus, too. Crandall doesn’t even mention his pet judges in the minutes, and he makes certain to shower croney Dolan with thanks and gratitude to soften the blow. Crooks and corruption covering for each other at the expense of honest employees and taxpayers.

We have acquired papers that will shed some truth and light on the subject, something residents and taxpayers didn’t get at the town board meeting nor will they be likely to get anywhere but here.

Crandall and his co–conspirators wanted to make it pay–back time

First of all, let’s just say that the way Mr Crandall handled the issue was improper and simply not right. This is an internal matter that should have been handled internally, not thrown out into the public arena to be misinterpreted and to promote a scandal. But that’s apparently what Crandall and his co–conspirators wanted to make it pay–back time and to punish anyone not in their pockets or in bed with them.

Here’s why we say that:

pay-period leap year sidebarThe Officially Approved Minutes of the April 21, 2016 Coeymans Town Board Meeting are the only record available to the public to document what occurred at the town board meeting. The minutes were approved by the majority of the board, even if those minutes are nonsense and themselves reveal their own lack of credibility.

We have acquired the officially approved minutes of the Coeymans town board meeting, approved by Crandall, Dolan, Youmans, and Burns — Mr Langdon was excused and absent. In those minutes, Mr Crandall announces that “there was a mistake made in the town’s pay periods…last year [2015] here were 27 pay periods instead of 26, which happens every 11 years.” So far he’s being truthful but it stops there. You see, Coeymans town supervisor Phil Crandall and his cronies Tom Dolan and Jim Youmans are very uncomfortable with the truth—that is, if it’s not their specially cooked version of the truth.

Crandall reports information he had known some 5 weeks earlier but didn’t say anything. The information turned up after Sara Morrison, a CPA working “weekends” and being paid big bucks by voucher by Crandall’s administration, “audited” the 2015 budget, finding that the payroll for that period was divided by 26 rather than by 27; the result was that there was an “extra” pay period (two – week’s pay). Crandall says that Morrison brought this mistake to the former town supervisor’s attention back in April 2015 (Note the date!). But what Crandall is ignorant of is the fact that it’s not an “extra” pay period, and doesn’t represent an actual “overpayment” but is rather a normal calendar phenomenon that occurs every 11 years! It’s as natural as sunshine!

Let me stop here for a minute and tell you that the town of Coeymans uses an automated payroll software from BAS (Business Automation Services; to see what their municipal government package includes, go to Municipal Accounting, a business solutions provider in Clifton Park. The problem, it appears, was in the software being used, and how well it was doing what it was purchased to do. It wasn’t!

Not only was the BSA software to blame but the CPA, Sarah Morrison, and the other accounting/bookkeeping/payroll employees were apparently oblivious to the so-called “payroll leap year”, and failed to notify town employees that it was going to occur; not that that fact should have changed anything. The employees would still be entitled to the additional pay period, truth be told.

But here’s another failure in Crandall’s attempt to blacken Coeymans employees: The 2015 town budget was created and approved in late 2014, on November 19, 2014.That budget went into effect on January 1, 2015. Crandall was elected together with Youmans and Dolan in November 2015, and the Coeymans town budget was finalized in that same month (Tom Dolan actually worked on the 2015 and 2016 budgets) so we’d expect the incoming board, especially the incoming chief fiscal officer of the town, the supervisor, Mr Crandall, to be very well informed on the previous budget and the present budget. The current budget went into effect on January 1, 2016, the day Mr Crandall was sworn in to be Coeymans town supervisor.

Unusual Wage Payment Issue in 2015 for Many Employers: 27 Bi-Weekly Pay Periods, Not 26

Mr “Corruption” Crandall and his scheister minion David Wukitsch are using unfair intimidation tactics to scare employees into making good on the town accountants’ mistakes.

So, loyal readers, this whole hullabaloo about being overpaid is a big smoke and mirrors performance, a dog and pony act staged by Phil Crandall and his band of halfwits! According to the sidebar and the links above, 81% of employers just go with the flow every 11 years. So why all the publicity? In fact, if the town employees, whether exempt or non-exempt, hourly or salary, were not notified of the pay-period leap year effects and the possibility of a lower paycheck due to the 27 pay period cycle, and it was not spelled out in their contracts we don’t think that the town of Coeymans has any right to demand a reimbursement! It’s the town of Coeymans error, not the fault of the employees. Mr Corruption Crandall and his Scheister minion David Wukitsch are using unfair intimidation tactics to scare employees into making good on the towns accountants’ mistakes. Furthermore, they’re misusing their pubic office to misinform residents and taxpayers about the situation and trying to shift the blame to the innocent employees, while causing many of the unnecessary stress and anxiety not only by demanding that the employees pay back what 81% of normal employers would just accept as an 11-year rarity but also by tarnishing the employees’ images as public and elected officials. In our opinion, that’s tantamount to actionable defamation! How about a tort suit for defamation among other tort causes! Tuck that in your Depends® Mr Crandall and Mr Wukitsch! We say the affected employees should bring a lawsuit against the Crandall administration and their overpaid CPA, Sarah Morrison, and BAS!

What also irks us is the fact that while Crandall and his lackies are pointing fingers at innocent town employees who are only getting paid normally, Crandall, Youmans and Dolan are bringing back their cronies and hiring them, putting them on the town payroll. What about that cost to the town and taxpayers? Why did Crandall and his cronies increase the town planning board to 7 members, 2 more than Mr Flach felt was needed when he reduced the board to 5 members? Why does the town need to pay a high-priced CPA, Sarah Morrison, PLUS anonther overpaid dingo, Darryl Puritan (at more than $100/hr), plus Nita Chmielewski as town bookkeeper, PLUS Cindy Rowzee as an assistant bookkeeper?!?!?

We also think the affected employees who received Mr Wukitsch’s intimidation letter should file a formal complaint with the bar association because of Mr Wukitsch’s unprofessional conduct to the bar association and professional ethics enforcers. Misusing his position to wrongfully intimidate may result in disciplinary action being taken against him.

Yet another person comes on the stage with one Cathy Hanley, an employee of BAS, who allegedly prepares the W2 forms for Coeymans employees, who, Crandall claims, brought the error to former Coeymans bookkeeper, Matthew Weidman, who was replaced by Nita J. Chmielewski, former Coeymans town supervisor for a very short time before she had to resign because of math mistakes in the town budget that led back to her. She can’t do math but now she’s the town of Coeymans bookkeeper. Go figure! Only in Coeymans!

And so are the Coeymans town board!

And so are the Coeymans town board!

Editor’s note: As far as we have been able to discover, the town of Coeymans has quite a number of people involved in bookkeeping and payroll other than BAS. In addition to Sarah Morrison who bills by voucher and gets paid megabucks, there’s Darrell Puritan who, as a “weekend worker” — whatever that is — gets at least $100/hour, then there’s Nita Chmielewski, who is clerk to the supervisor, and also replaced M. Weidman as town bookkeeper despite her dubious math skills, and then there’s Cindy Rowzee who was hired to be Crandall’s part-time confidential secretary but also works as an assistant bookkeeper. Sounds like financial overkill to us. But after all this financial talent is taken into consideration, we are still dealing with a phony “payroll mistake.” How does that work, anyway? We’d like to ask who’s getting the kickbacks from all of this financial overkill?

This boils down to several important facts, which Mr Crandall conveniently fails to observe. First of all, how could Morrison audit a budget that was not yet fully implemented for 2015. You see, the budget for the fiscal year 2015 was proposed and finalized in November 2014, and went into effect on January 1, 2015. That budget was not yet fully implemented by April 2015 and so really couldn’t have been “audited”. Moreover, if Cathy Hanley, an employee of BSA allegedly brought her observations to the attention of the then town bookkeeper, Matthew Weidman, Mr Weidman certainly would have made a note of the “error” then. But what puzzles us is that Mr Crandall says that a contract employee of the town of Coeymans, CPA Sarah Morrison informed former supervisor Stephen Flach of the “error.” Certainly, anyone who knows Flach would have to admit that this is not the sort of thing Mr Flach would have pooh – poohed and swept under the carpet; truth be told, Stephen Flach was honest to a flaw and as ethical as can be, which probably led to his downfall to the scoundrels. But there was no mistake, no error, in reality no overpayment at all! It’s all a fraud cooked up by Crandall and his minions!

No! Our analysis of the facts and the documents tells a completely different story

No! Our analysis of the facts tells a completely different story than what Mr Crandall and his hoodlums would have the public believe. You see, BSA and their software are the real culprits. BSA apparently failed to take into account the gremlin that occurred every 11 years, and as a company providing business solutions they should have known of this occurrence! Think of it this way: When you buy income – tax filing software you expect it to be correct and accurate and your tend to trust it. Right? You don’t expect to have to check their formulas and figures against the tax code do you? Same thing applies to business solutions software like BSA’s. They claim their product does something and does it right; it’s not up to Mr Flach or Mr Weidmann to go back and check their software codes and algorithms to ensure that the BSA software works properly. Wouldn’t that be something Darryl Puritan — Oh! Puritan is another financial braniac who gets paid more than $100/hr as a weekend employee by the town of Coeymans — or Ms Sarah Morrison, another one who’s billing Coeymans megabucks for financial advice, should have caught and fixed? And does Mr Crandall expect that the affected town employees should have gone back to the software to check that it caught the 11 – year gizmo? Hell no! So why would Mr Crandall, in a public meeting, make it all sound like he was a hero and found this horrible misconduct, that is, Mr Flach and the affected employees had attempted to hide the fact that they had been overpaid — the so-called “overpayment” was spread out over 11 years that it amounted to less than 4%! In fact, it wasn’t an overpayment at all but a normal payment in a payroll leap year! Furthermore, it would not have become apparent until the end of the fiscal year, not in April 2015, not even halfway into the budget year! What’s the disgraced judge trying to pull here? Whatever it is he’s trying to feed us he was much better at fixing tickets for Tom Dolan and Dick Touchette. We were safer when he was a crooked judge; it’s hopeless now that he’s a crooked town supervisor.

Crandall's Snow Job

Crandall’s Snow Job

What’s more telling is that if you look at the political affiliations of the employees who allegedly were “overpaid” we find that 2/3 of the affected employees are Republicans! And guess What? The other third are Democrats but it gets even better. Two of the Democrats are sitting Coeymans town justices, Kevin Reilly and George Dardiani (tell you something about our judges? Are they all in bed with Crandall?) and the most scandalous is that the third Democrat is no less than Tom Dolan!!!! Dolan was on the board when the alleged payroll “error” in the 2015 budget was made!!! So say what you like, it seems to us that Crandall is taking pot shots at the opposition and, while thanking Tom Dolan profusely at the public meeting, doesn’t breath a word about the Democrap town justices who were “overpaid” as well!

It’s important to note that Coeymans Police Chief, Peter J. McKenna, was mentioned in the discussion but it must be made absolutely clear that the Chief was not overpaid; he actually took a pay cut!!! But Crandall never clarified that during the discussions and it’s not clear in the minutes either. Was the “oversight” intended to include the chief in the overpayment scandal without doing so directly and falsely? Now that’s pretty underhanded, isn’t it? But it’s Crandall all the way.

Former Coeymans supervisor’s Letter was to be read into the record but was censored by a dishonest and disgraced former judge…Phil Crandall

And what’s this about Phil Crandall refusing to let Mr Stephen Flach’s letter be read by town board member Kenneth Burns?!? The letter was addressed to the people of the town of Coeymans thru their town council! So we’re going to reproduce the text Mr Flach’s letter below. It was written to be read at the meeting into the official record but was censored by a dishonest and disgraced former judge who was forbidden ever to run for judicial office again but was elected to be town supervisor. Phil Crandall may be able to silence a Ken Burns but Crandall can’t silence this blog!!!

In a letter dated May 3, 2016, Mr Flach writes, verbatim:

Dear Town Board.

I received a letter from the attorney to the Town about an overpayment to me from December 2015. There was a pay periods that ended on 12 / 23 / 2015 [December 23,2015]. I paid that out on 12 / 30 / 2015 [December 30, 2015] I I thought that the last week of December and going into January was the 27th pay period, thus Peter Masti and I did not get paid for the last week of December, not realizing that it was already the 27th pay period the week before. I have enclosed a check back to the Town for the amount that was overpaid to me on December 30th. I made a mistake and I apologize to the board, the taxpayers, and those who were overpaid. I have encouraged those who were overpaid to reimburse the Town as soon as possible. I would hope that the town officials would give [redacted], [redacted], and anyone else affected, the time they need to pay this back.

I have not been involved with the Town since I left on December 31st and continue to hope that the current board does a great job as the elected officials in running the Town and doing what is best for the residents. Working for the Town is about serving the people with character and integrity, and I thank you for your service. It is unfortunate that some of the employees that are working for you are only interested in vengeance and not just doing their job. I pray that you five men continue to do your best for our town, and move our town forward.

Sincerely,
/  / signature/ /
Stephen Flach

Mr Flach enclosed his check in reimbursement of the alleged overpayment.

David Wukitsch, Coeymans town attorney, who, by the way was fired by the town of New Baltimore because he was allegedly a jerk

Several town employees addressed a joint letter to Phil Crandall as town supervisor and chief fiscal officer protesting how ineptly the matter was being handled and how it cast innocent employees in a false light. We think the letter is much too weak, but then we don’t have to work with Crandall and his mob on a day – to – day basis. The employees object to the ultimatum letter sent by David Wukitsch, town attorney, who, by the way was fired by the town of New Baltimore because he was a jerk. The employees complain that they were not properly notified of the overpayment and were never met with to discuss the amount allegedly owed. It must be said, though, that even Wukitsch’s letter states that it was a “payroll error”, that is, not the fault of the employees if the payroll people did not make the adjustment. It is unconscionable that Wukitsch tells the employees that they should reimburse the town “within the next 30 days.” How would you feel if in 30 days you would have to cough up more than $1,000.00 for something not your fault, even beyond your control?

Mr Burns really needs to get a pair of balls…He doesn’t need Phil Crandall’s blessing.

Now, we ask you, Why? wouldn’t Mr Crandall want this to be read into the record by Mr Kenneth Burns? What right does Mr Crandall have to censor this letter? Well, knowing Mr Crandall, Mr Dolan, and Mr Youmans, it’s clear that if this letter were read into the record, it would certainly have taken the edge off of their underhanded attack! But Mr Burns really needs to get a pair of balls; he doesn’t need Phil Crandall’s blessing to read a letter into the record if he so wishes.

Here’s another fact for our readers to ponder when thinking about Mr Crandall’s unscrupulous and dishonest tactics: Mr Crandall and Mr Youmans were campaigning for public office well in advance of November 2015. In fact, Jim “Bully” Youmans is a former town supervisor and should have been familiar with the 11–year issue, so why didn’t he catch it. He had an awful lot to say while he was campaigning! He should have at least acknowledged that it could easily be missed. But Tom “Dithering” Dolan has been on the board through several, at least 5 town budget proceedings, and he’s been blundering around town hall for even longer. In fact, he was involved in drafting, presenting and finalizing the 2015 town budget. Why didn’t he catch it back then? You see, it would be terribly inconvenient for Mr Crandall to have to admit that he and his cronies are just as much at fault as anyone else for not catching the so-called “mistake”. But they should have.

Mr Flach’s letter emphasizes Mr Flach’s integrity and honesty, and casts a very dark shadow on the Crandall administration

As to why he wouldn’t want Mr Flach’s letter read publically we can only say that Mr Flach’s letter emphasizes Mr Flach’s integrity and honesty and casts a very dark shadow on the Crandall administration. Yes, as Mr Flach writes, “it is unfortunate that some of the employees that are working for you are only interested in vengeance and not [in] just doing their job.” It’s non Crandall’s watch and under his questionable leadership that this is all happening, and it’s Mr Crandall and his cronies Youmans and Dolan who are dropping the ball and true to form, they’re trying to paint someone black for it. You can’t change them but you’re stuck with them for at least another 3 years or until someone sends them to jail. We do wonder, however, that Mr Flach was so quick to reimburse an overpayment that never was. We think he should have consulted an accountant before having done that.

Crandall is trying to scapegoat innocent, hard-working civil servants to bolster his own sick ego and to cover up his administration’s total lack of credibility and focus. Don’t take his bait; don’t fall into his trap!

There’s more and we’ll report on it in an upcoming article. Stay tuned we’ve got some dirt on Nita J. Chmielewski, the town planning board padding by Phil Crandall, and some really good stuff on the Coeymans – Carver Companies asbestos battle. It seems that it’s going to go to court…and you’re going to pay the tab for Crandall’s vendettas. But we now have names and we’re going to go public with them. Enjoy your town board, Coeymans. You asked for it.

Editor’s Note: Residents and taxpayers in other surrounding towns should be asking these same questions. Has New Baltimore missed the 11-year gremlin? Can New Baltimore residents and taxpayers be expecting their elected officials and public servants to be writing reimbursement checks to the town? More on this later.

News Shorts to Keep You Updated…Briefly

Who Owns 84 Main Street in Coeymans Hamlet?

Update on our story Give them enough rope and the Coeymans Board expose themselves

That’s a pretty sticky question in Coeymans town hall these days. You see, as usual the facts are pretty illusive and vague, the Times Useless prints one thing, Coeymans town hall says another thing, the Coeymans town board just seems to be in a ping-pong match bouncing the question back and forth until they finally decide to call in Guess who? — the lawyers. The Coeymans town board has handed the question over to scheister David Wukitsch and Donald Zee to answer this burning question.

It seems that no one in Coeymans town hall can agree on who owns the property that was the subject recently of a New York State Department of Labor intervention and the town stopping Carver Laraway’s efforts to tear down a derelict building — but only after it was leveled to the ground — at 84 Main Street in the Hamlet of Coeymans.

This entire question of Who owns No. 84 Main Street? raises a number of questions about the competence of the Crandall town board, John Cashin’s and Santee Debacco’s competence as code enforcement officers for the town of Coeymans, and Who’s the rat in Coeymans town hall?

So we went to the assessment rolls to find out who owns No. 84. The SBL (section block number) for the property is 168.12-2-3 and it’s listed under Tax Exempt Properties and clearly shows the owner to be the town of Coeymans! Imaging that! The Coeymans Assessor lists the property as tax exempt and owned by the town of Coeymans. Now WHY? didn’t Mr Phil Crandall, supervisor of the town of Coeymans, or any of his board know that? And where was the town assessor and the two code enforcement officers while the meeting was going on? Your guess is as good as mine!

That raises other questions, too. First of all, Why was Carver Laraway demolishing a building that officially is owned by the town of Coeymans? That would make the town of Coeymans responsible as the owners for the demolition, wouldn’t it? And then it would make the town of Coeymans responsible for any contractors involved in tearing down the building. Right? So that leaves Carver Laraway out of the liability picture. But it also creates problems for the town of Coeymans like: The rat is in town hall and reported the demolition to the New York State Department of Labor, throwing in the town of Coeymans instead of Laraway. That would make the town of Coeymans responsible for any violations issued by the state and gets Laraway off the hook. That’s the doctrine of respondeat superior where the employer is liable for any unlawful conduct of an employee, including contractors. The only ones stupid enough to do something like this are Phil Crandall, Jim Youmans, Tom Dolan or even Rick “the Dick” Touchette, they all have a woody for Carver Laraway. But our guess would be that it was Tom Dolan; he’s the only one vile enough to do something that stupid and have it backfire on the town.

And guess what?!? The violation is all about asbestos containment and the town of Coeymans has no local laws, rules or guidelines relating to asbestos!!! Now doesn’t that come as a surprise? Decades of asbestos in the news and Coeymans has nothing on the books about asbestos.

We’ve asked for demolition permits issued for the past year, any Coeymans codes on asbestos, and any stipulations connected with sales of local derelict properties. We’ll keep you informed because the Ravena News Herald won’t and you can’t expect any truth coming from the town board.

New Program May be Coming to the RCS Community Library

With the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Homes moving into expansion facilities at 9 Main Street in Ravena, Ravena residents and residents in the greater Coeymans and northeastern Greene county have finally a choice, at least in death. The A.J. Cunningham operation has occupied the former Pero Memorial Chapel and have posted an A.J. Cunningham Funeral Homes sign outside but they’ve done little else. Not even a holiday wreath on the place. They’ve made the effort to elbow in on Sharon Babcock’s little captive empire of death but are they serious about succeeding in Ravena? We won’t waste space telling you about A.J. Cunningham Funeral Homes because they have a website at http://ajcunninghamfh.com/. Read about them for yourselves.

A New Trend in Death Awareness

A new death awareness is taking larger cities in Europe and the US by storm and they’re called death cafés. Death cafés began in about 2004, when Swiss sociologist Bernard Crettaz started hosting impromptu pop-up meetings called cafes mortals in Switzerland. Crettaz studies death in his research but the popular events spread like wildfire in Europe. In 2011, the events started in the United Kingdom and popped up all over London. North American death cafés began in Ohio, and are organized in New Mexico, Michigan, Vancouver, B.C., California, Illinois, New York, and elsewhere. The popularity of the events is a clear indicator that people want, need to discuss dying, death, and living in a safe environment where they can openly talk about life’s greatest mystery, death.

Well, discussions are underway between the organizer of Thanatology Café and the RCS Community Library to start the Capital District’s first death discussion group right here in Ravena. The RCS Community Library has been doing a tremendous job in creating new programs for the RCS community under the leadership of Judith Wines, library director, Carol Malewsky, specialist research librarian, and Bryan Rowzee, IT guru for the library, so the time is right to bring in a new program. So why not one as controversial and interesting as death itself.

The program is slated to start in early to mid-March 2016 and discussions are in their early stages but very encouraging and positive. We’d suggest that anyone in the greater capital district visit the Thanatology Café blog to learn more about the program. Once you find you are interested in joining the program, just let the facilitator know by leaving your contact information and your specific death interests in an email to thanatology.cafe@gmail.com. Of course, all communications are confidential.

Coeymans Court Shuts Down for Two Weeks!
Justice in Coeymans ‘On Hold’

Court on Hold

Sign appearing in Coeymans town hall town court office window. Justice suspended!

Who ever heard of such a thing? Coeymans court with two full-time (G. Dardiani) town justices George Dardiani and Kevin Reilly have suspended justice in the town of Coeymans for two full weeks!

We don’t get it. Does that mean that pleas and tickets are suspended, too? We have a question also about conflicts of interest with the town justice, Kevin Reilly, who is being paid both as a full-time town justice and as a part-time court clerk. Sounds like that should be just wrong, doesn’t it? Well, suspending justice in the town of Coeymans is nothing new; but how can you suspend something that never was in the first place? We might well ask whether they suspended their paychecks too?

The only worse place is in Ravena village court where they make their own rules. Now who is running against that old pervert Harold “Hal” Warner — the same Hal Warner who stabbed his fellow village justice Phil Crandall, now Coeymans town supervisor, in the back — and his village supervisor, his wife, Nancy Warner. We see they’re both trying to get re-elected this coming March. Old Justice-bender Hal Warner is just a cash generator at your expense for the village. The prosecutor may want to propose a fine of $200 but old Hal wants to raise some money for the village so he ups the fine — at your expense — to $300 or so, unless, of course, you’re one of the insiders and then it’s a parking ticket. Could old Justice-bender Hal be out to embarrass anyone from David Soares office since Hal and Nancy’s daughter, Carmen Warner, was fired from Soares office for posting lewd images of herself and another female on Facebook? Carmen was later hired by the Biscone law firm. Part of the Ravena Incest Club. That’s a Ravena mindset: I’m gonna get you but I’m gonna make Ravena residents pay for it. Perish the thought! Would vendetta, revenge ever enter into a village official’s empty little pinhead? Answer: You bet your ass it does! Ask any Ravena resident whose name doesn’t end in a vowel!

Bill Bailey Running Again?!?

Warner pair, Nancy & Hal, running again!

Warner pair, Nancy & Hal, running again!

Unbelievable! The freak show continues in Ravena. Not only are we seeing two fossils, two major freaks, Nancy Warner and hubby Harold “Hal” Warner asking Ravena voters to show how stupid they can be and re-elect the vampire pair, we also have dithering dumbo Bill Bailey running again! But just to show how useless and ineffective he really is, both the Democraps and the Retardicans have cross endorsed Bailey! If you can read between the lines, that means that they can’t find anyone less threatening than Bill Bailey to be on the Ravena village board and neither the Democraps nor the Retardicans want to risk anyone with even half a rat’s brain to possibly get on the board to shake things up!

Local Dentist May Have a Big Toothache

Update on our story Local Dentists. Are you being abused, taken for a ride in the chair?

You may have seen the glaring banner advertisement across the front page of the Ravena News Herald —not especially known for its ethics or its facts— placed by Coxsackie Dental Arts. Well, after all is said and done, Mr Kurt David Froehlich, the dentist operating Coxsackie Dental Arts, PLLC, may have a toothache of his own.

Coxsackie dentist Kurt D. Froehlich and Coxsackie Dental Arts may have a toothache of their own.

Coxsackie dentist Kurt D. Froehlich and Coxsackie Dental Arts may have a toothache of their own.

A local resident who visited Froehlich’s practice last year has filed a multi-allegation complaint for fraud, abuse, professional misconduct against Froehlich and Coxsackie Dental Arts with the NYS Department of Education, Professional Misconduct Enforcement, the NYS Attorney General’s Office, and the Greene County District Attorney, and the resident’s dental insurance company.

The resident has produced pretty convincing evidence that Ole Yanker Froehlich has been playing loose and crooked in his billing practices and his so-called care provided to patients.

Froehlich advertises a 15% discount for seniors and veterans but may charge up to 3-times what other local dentists charge for the same procedure. Pretty slick and shady if you ask us.

The complaint also alleges violations of professional licensing standards not only by Froehlich but also by two dental assistants employed by Coxsackie Dental Arts.

Coxsackie Dental Arts, PLLC is located on Route 9W in the town of Coxsackie. Our advice: Fraud and misconduct is rampant in the dental professions if the media coverage and the journal articles are to be believed. Even the American Dental Association, the ADA, has to admit that fraud in the dental office is a big problem and they have even published a manual on the subject. Be very careful selecting a dentist, insist on knowing what your dental care is going to cost and how much your dental plan covers; you are likely to be held liable for whatever your plan doesn’t cover. Ask questions, lots of questions. At the first sign of suspect conduct, contact the NYS Professional Misconduct Enforcement unit at the NYS Department of Education, Office of the Professions: New York’s Professional Misconduct Enforcement System.

Coeymans: Illegal “Work Zone” Signs and Unlawful Threat of Fines?

Driving down Rt 144 southbound into Coeymans, or northbound towards the Port of Coeymans, you may have noticed numerous work zone signs along the road and sometimes even flagmen. You may have also noticed that there are signs warning that exceeding the speed limit in work zones will result in doubled fines if convicted. On further investigation it seems that all of this is unlawful and very likely illegal, since neither Carver Companies nor the Port of Coeymans have the authority to post “work zone” or speed limit signs on a public roadway, and certainly do not have the authority to threaten motorists with doubled fines! And the town of Coeymans must enact ordinances, regulations or local laws to temporarily create work zones or speed limit restrictions [they haven’t].

Are these signs and the threat of double fines unlawful, even illegal?

Are these signs and the threat of double fines unlawful, even illegal?

Are these signs unlawful and illegal?

First of all, there is no public service or utility work going on in the area marked off by the signs. At least no construction or maintenance work being done by public authorities. The only construction going on is that of a private bridge over the Coeymans Creek, a bridge which itself is of dubious legality under the currently contested re-zoning in Coeymans. Furthermore, the bridge construction is not a public service nor is it a public works project, it’s private, and it cannot claim the authorities of law that apply to public works.

Since there are no public works projects, construction, maintenance, etc. going on in the area marked off by the signs and the threats, who is authorizing these signs and the “doubled fines” threat sign to be posted. Furthermore, Who is enforcing these restrictions and threats? in view of the fact that the only construction going on is private construction by Carver Laraway and Carver Companies?

And what is the work zone speed limit? Normally temporary reduced speed limits are imposed for workzones. The workzone speed limit is not posted!

Don’t those morons in Coeymans law enforcement, the Coeymans court, the Coeymans town board know about the DoT regulations and state law?

In fact, the entire so-called “work zone” is totally ignorant of state law and New York State Department of Transportation Engineering Instructions EI 08-030, incorporated into the update of chapter 16 of the Highway Design Manual (HDM). But Hey! doesn’t the town of Coeymans have a stellar police department, enlightened town justices, a brilliant highway department, a savvy code enforcement officer? Aren’t the taxpayers of the town of Coeymans paying these morons to know New York State Law and what to post, what not to post?

Furthermore, who’s the moron who thinks that anyone operating his or her vehicle through the work zone in excess of a work zone speed limit that isn’t even published is going to sit quietly when subjected to doubled fines when there is apparently no public works project going on and the only construction is a private construction project, the Carver Companies private bridge! Since when do our courts apply state law to private undertakings to enforce unlawful restrictions? The Carver Companies have no authority to impose speed limits or to enforce state laws, only duly constituted law enforcement has that authority and power.

And speaking of duly constituted law enforcement, where in hell are the Coeymans police hanging out these days? They’re certainly not serving and protecting along Rt 144 or anywhere around there. At best we see NY State Police stopping trucks but that’s just on a sporadic basis.

What we’d like to see is Coeymans police patrols enforcing the laws on the books like:

  • Heavy trucks observing the officially and lawfully posted speed limits;
  • Heavy trucks entering and leaving the Port of Coeymans and Carver Companies properties operating safely and courteously, in observance of traffic safety principles (like not pulling out in front of oncoming vehicles or waiting until faster traveling traffic passes before pulling out and having everyone jam on their brakes while the trucks meander along at 20 mph or slower)
  • How about putting some operating lights on or ticketing the drivers when they operate their trucks with no headlights even in the rain;
  • How about enforcing the law on clean, legible and if necessary lighted license plates (so that when they nearly kill us we can at least write down the license plate number in out last drops of blood);
  • How about unmarked cars observing the trucks failing to keep right? Pick a lane and stay in it maybe? Maybe the right lane?

But since the town of Coeymans is in Carver Laraway’s pocket, it doesn’t seem likely that the Coeymans police are going to start enforcing the law in the case of the heavy trucks and careless truck drivers, not unless we start setting some fires under their asses. Maybe the New York State Police and the Albany County Sheriff Department should be called in to do the job the Coeymans police are either unable or unwilling to do.

Here are some notes for those of you who are interested in the basis for our opinions. They’re from the New York State DOT Engineering Instructions and from the NYS DOT Highway Design Manual. We also quote New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law §§ 1180(f) Work Area Speed Limit.

Based on the sections below, we believe that the work zone signs, the failure to post a work zone speed limit (thus failing to provide due process and proper notice of drivers), and the doubled-fines signs are all unlawful, if not illegal. What do you think?

The New York State Department of Transportation manuals define a work zone in the following terms:

“A Work Zone is the area of a highway with construction, maintenance, or utility work activities. It is typically marked with signs, channelizing devices, barriers, pavement markings, and/or work vehicles and extends from the first warning sign to the END ROAD WORK sign.”

The “highway” is a public roadway used by the public and the “construction, maintenance or utility work activities” are public works, not private. The official documents continue:

“SPEED CONTROL METHODS
Speed limit reductions in work zones are most effective when drivers perceive the need to slow down, (whether through noticeable geometric or work-related constraints on traffic flow) and when there is regular active police enforcement of the work zone speed limit. Arbitrary speed limit reductions erode motorist’s confidence in the need for reducing speed within a work zone. Traffic speed in work zones are generally lower, regardless of posted speed limit, when work zone conditions such as flagging, variable message signs, lane shifts, lane-width reduction, radar, and enforcement exist. Engineering, education/awareness, and enforcement measures are to be used to influence motorists, promote work zone awareness, and achieve safe work zone traffic speeds.” [emphasis provided]

“Engineering Measures
Incorporating engineering measures into work zone designs will encourage drivers to safely negotiate work zones. Warning signs, advisory speeds, positive guidance, width restrictions, channelizing chicanes, and use of intelligent transportation system technologies are examples of engineering measures that can be used to slow traffic traveling through a work zone.”

There are very specific guidelines in the state DoT manuals on how flagmen should perform their functions; of course, you’d never see them doing that in Coeymans!

“Enforcement Measures
Engineering and education/awareness measures can help reduce speeds. However, active police enforcement is the most effective measure to encourage motorist’s compliance with posted regulatory speed limits and other traffic regulations within work zones. Under the 2005 Work Zone Safety Act Regulation, police services will be provided to the extent practicable within major active work zones. The need for police presence and/or enforcement should be determined as early as possible during the project design phase. Police enforcement needed for maintenance type work zones will be coordinated as early as possible with the police agency and the Regional Traffic and Maintenance Groups. All effected [sic] parties should meet prior to any active enforcement within a work zone.”

Again, it seems, Coeymans has fallen flat on their fat arses! Who is going to pay for these tax-payer supported law enforcement services when the construction is private?!? Has the town board of Coeymans met with Carver Laraway to negotiate reimbursement for enforcement services during Carver Companies’ construction projects? Now there’s a good question to ask at a Coeymans town board meeting if you want to watch them squirm!

Who's Getting Paid? We know who's paying!

Who’s Getting Paid?
We know who’s paying!

And then we have the New York State law that is referred to in the “doubled fines” signs. But it should be obvious to our readers by now that posting that sign under the current circumstances is unlawful and illegal. Any town or village justice convicting and fining under these circumstances should be brought before the New York State disciplinary commission and disbarred!

Is this unlawful and illegal?

Is this unlawful and illegal?

Here’s what §§ 1180(f) Work Area Speed Limit has to say:

“NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1180(f) permits some municipalities not otherwise authorized to establish a reduced regulatory speed limit by ordinance, order, rule or regulation for construction or maintenance work areas.

Vehicle and Traffic § 1180. Basic rule and maximum limits. (a) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing.

Regarding construction sites § 1180 (f) reads:

“…when a lower maximum speed limit has been established, no person shall drive a vehicle through a highway construction or maintenance work area at a speed in excess of the posted work area speed limit. The agency having jurisdiction over the affected street or highway may establish work area speed limits which are less than the normally posted speed limits; provided, however, that such normally posted speed limit may exceed the work area speed limit by no more than twenty miles per hour; and provided further that no such work area speed limit may be established at less than twenty-five miles per hour.”

“Every person convicted of a violation of paragraph two of … subdivision (f)… of this section shall be punished as follows:

(i) Where the court or tribunal records or enters that the speed upon which the conviction was based exceeded the applicable speed limit by not more than ten miles per hour, by a fine of not less than ninety nor more than three hundred dollars;” [Editor’s note: This is double the normal fines.]

But again, it must be clear that these provisions do not apply to private projects like Carver Companies’ bridge construction, unless the town of Coeymans has taken steps by temporary ordinance, order, rule or regulation to give Carver Companies special consideration in terms of a temporary work zone speed limit. But the town of Coeymans and the Coeymans town board have no authority to amend state Vehicle and Traffic law at their convenience to threaten motorists with unlawfully doubled fines!

Once again, the amateurs running the town of Coeymans may have set themselves up for more legal problems if any action is taken against drivers based on the above. Coeymans taxpayers, get ready to foot the bills for the lawsuits when they start coming through.

We think it's illegal and unlawful! What do YOU think?

We think it’s illegal and unlawful!

aww, you aren’t even close.

FireGeezer, A Blog Dedicated to the First Responder/Firefighter Community, Recently Reposted Part of Our Article “Share Our Shock” on the Unbelievable Stupidity of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and Their Decision to Hire Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca” to be the Association’s CEO/Executive Director. We posted a link the FireGeezer’s web site. No sooner had we done that than the rats left their dark holes and started their rants. Well, it didn’t take long for FireGeezer to figure out their agenda and POOF! all of their posts suddenly got deleted. That’s happening more and more to them lately and so it should.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “taunt” as “a reproach in a mocking or insulting style. This is a taunt.

Joke's On Sicko! BANNED AGAIN!

Joke’s On Sicko!
BANNED AGAIN!

It’s ironic that as soon as the lunatic rants got deleted, so did Sicko’s identity. He’s* a nobody again!

[* We are using the pronoun “he” not because we think the Sicko is a male but because traditionally the grammatical “he” is used to mean both genders; today, thanks to the feminist agenda, the pronoun “she” is frequently used in the same way.]

WE WIN (AGAIN)—YOU LOSE AGAIN, LOSER

One of the sickos who apparently is desperate for attention wrote in a comment: “aww, you aren’t even close. Guess those close to you are going to betray you sooner than later.” That sicko is responding to our “UPDATE” on this blog in which we finger a local whacko as the one who posted the crazy rants on FireGeezer. But what the sicko doesn’t realize is that he or she is actually identifying with the psychopath we suspect to have written the stupidity on FireGeezer. It’s ironic that as soon as the lunatic rants got deleted, so did Sicko’s identity. He’s a lonely nobody again!

But to set the record straight, the sick minds who are so desperately trying to put a face on this blog, who are so desperately trying to vent their frustration about not being able to spew their venom, and hurt the community-spirited people reading and contributing to this blog, those same sociopathic personalities are actually shooting themselves in the foot. Here’s why:

First of all, those sickos are ignorant of the content of this blog. If they knew anything about this blog, they would know that on May 5, 2012, in the article a “A Little History Lesson“, everything they think that they are exposing was already thrown out there for everyone to read. Even the owner of the blog was identified. Yes! No guessing required. That article identified the blog owner! No secrets, readers. Everything was up on the front page since May 5, 2012—until they started getting really nasty.  But that article, “A little History Lesson” was there for everyone to read, and was until this morning (we password protected the page but you can request a password to view it. Just write us at rcs.confidential (a) gmail.com) That was done because it was all made up in sick minds, meaningless, already shown to be garbage, and the Editor wanted to get it out of the way, knowing that some dumbasses would want to drag it out and use it stupidly. That’s exactly what they did and are trying to do. But they failed, miserably.

Secondly, if they think that they have some special, secret information that they can use to discredit and destroy someone they repeat it over and over again, until they believe their own lies, and then attacking more and more innocent people. Apparently, they think that by doing that someone’s going to lose their cool and react. Not gonna happen. You see, those lies have been around so long and the stories, the tales have been told again and again that everyone, and we mean EVERYONE is sick of hearing them. So our advice to Sicko and his friends is: Get a life and a brain, stupid! You’ve tried this all before and it didn’t work then so why do you think it’s going to work now? It’s all old and uninteresting. People knew your agenda years ago and it didn’t work!

The most reliable sign of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. You’re a pitiful idiot!

The third point we’d like to make is this: You can’t fight hard facts by trying to kill the messenger, stupid! This blog goes to incredible lengths to get hard facts and information, and only then publishes the hard, true facts. You can deny them all you like but they are still there. Call us what you like but it doesn’t change the truth or the facts. But there is something you can do:

  • If you don’t like the Deluca stories, check out the facts and if you have a defense, send us the facts. We’ll be happy to print them.
  • If you don’t like the facts we publish on the Warners, send us facts that prove us wrong and we’ll publish them.
  • If you don’t like the facts about the Coeymans police department, send us the facts that refute our conclusions.
  • If you don’t like what we publish about the Village of Ravena and the Village of Ravena budget, show us in the budget what we got wrong.
  • If you feel that Ravena needs Cathy Deluca’s playpen to the tune of $105,000 a year when the Ravena Health and Fitness Center generates no revenues for the Village of Ravena, show us the facts and figures that say that Ravena needs the RHFC and that it’s worth the taxpayer dollars being wasted on it.
  • If you don’t like our exposés of the failing Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk schools or the teachers union or the board of education, leave a comment complete with facts and figures to rebut what we write. We’ll publish your comment.

You can’t fight hard facts by trying to kill the messenger, stupid!

You can’t do any of that and so you try again and again to kill the messenger by repeating your fairy tales and attacking even his/her family. Isn’t that a real cowardly way to try to prove your point? Well, it’s not working, stupid! All you do is get your ass kicked again and again. All you manage to do is get yourself banned from just another blog or website. Are you such a dumbass that you keep doing the same thing over and over again and get the same results? (Answer: YES!) See above for the “most reliable sign of stupidity.”

As we mentioned above, back on May 5, 2012, when we first published this blog, we actually published the very same things you continue to think are so important. In one of our first articles, “A Little History Lesson,” we went public with all of that slander and libel—by its very definition unfactual and false—; in the first week that this blog was published we had already published your stupid lies ourselves. Why? Because we wanted the world to know what stupids like you would probably come up with, thinking it was so significant, but we tripped you up by having put it out there right from the start. We beat you to the punch you idiot but you don’t even know that! And you think that because you post the same crapola and put one of your many fake names on it or use one of your many fake e-mails, that it’s going to be news. Please see above for the “most reliable sign of stupidity.”

Accept the Fact that you and your kind are losers! And in denial!

Accept the Fact that you and your kind are losers! And in denial!

Look, Stupid, we have established ourselves as highly reliable, strongly factual, reality-based, journalism-quality reporting. We publish only reliable and verifiable information, most often getting the facts under the provisions of the New York State Freedom of Information Law directly from the very public entities we are reporting on. If you think you can do better, please do. We’d love to see what you come up with.

We get more than 10,000 readers a month and in the next couple of weeks we’ll have a quarter of a million readers (250,000 readers). And that’s not even counting the readers from FaceBook and other social media, or the visitors referred to the site by email or by our many registered followers! People trust us and believe in us. We earned that trust by being honest and factual. We risked a lot by publishing this blog and going after the powers-to-be but the information was too important not to get it out to the community. Instead of hiding in some dark place away from the retaliation and intimidation that was part of our neighbors’ day-to-day life we came out and went on the counter-attack. We sent the real rats scurrying for their holes but smoked the bastards out again. We’re still doing that and will continue to do it until they’re all in a cage. The community is grateful and says so repeatedly. We have changed elections and changed the way our friends, neighbors and readers think. What have YOU done, stupid?

People like you make us all feel like geniuses.

People like you make us all feel like geniuses.

The very site on which you tried but failed to discredit us independently picked up on our article and asked many of the same questions: Who is Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca? That first-responder/firefighters website asked the same questions we did and agreed that there were questions, even rebuttals that had to be made. Did anyone rebut the real facts or refute them? No! Deluca didn’t and the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs didn’t either. Why? Because they couldn’t rebut or refute the truth, the facts.

Neither can you so you resorted to your old tricks. Whether you’re a Joan Ross, a Cathy Deluca, a Jerry Deluca, a Nancy Warner, a Tim Houghtaling, a Scott Horne you’re all the one and the same: cockroaches. And your methods are all the same. Please see above for the “most reliable sign of stupidity.”

So, that’s that. Save your energy. What you think is an ace is from an old marked deck, a very old, very worn out cheat’s deck. No one’s interested in your puffed up fantasy stories, your half-truths, your slanders or your libels. You get banned every time and you’re only building a case against yourself.

Why you don’t just accept our good advice to stay on topic, be truthful, state true facts, and stop wasting everyone’s time trying to put a face on this blog. You won’t be able to do it and it’s totally unnecessary. No matter who is writing this blog it won’t change the facts. The truth will continue to be true no matter who writes it.

Instead of hiding in some dark place away from the retaliation and intimidation that was part of our neighbors’ day-to-day life we came out and went on the counter-attack. We sent the real rats scurrying for their holes but smoked the bastards out. We’re still doing that and will continue to do it until they’re all in a cage.  What have YOU done, stupid?

Like rats driven by the bait in a trap, you are driven by your greed and hypocrisy to take another step into your depravity, until, like the unfortunate rat, you snatch at the bait and SNAP! … you know the rest of the story.

And finally, we don’t really care who you are. We really don’t care. Why? Because you are no longer a real person. You have become a cliché and a negative symbol. It doesn’t matter who you are because it’s what you represent that counts. You represent all that is false, crooked, corrupt, dishonest, insecure, immature, and evil that is in our communities, in our government, even in our churches. You are a symbol like satan is a symbol. We don’t want to be around your kind and we don’t want your kind in our communities.

You speak of betrayal? Look, there’s nothing to betray except ourselves and our principles of truth, integrity, and service. We won’t do that, ever. And no one’s going to betray us so don’t get your hopes up. We are clean, squeaky clean and nothing you or your kind can conjure up can stick. We’re going to keep it that way. You and your kind are dirty and you don’t even realize it. But we do.
