OVER THE TOP $53M RCS SCHOOL BUDGET AND THREE TEACHERS UNION LACKEYS SEEK ELECTION.

15 May

AS LONG AS THE TEACHERS UNION PACKS THE RCS BOARD OF EDUCATION WITH THEIR PUPPETS, PARENTS WILL HAVE NO VOICE IN WHAT THEIR KIDS ARE EXPOSED TO.
WE KNOW THAT IT WON’T BE EDUCATION.

Mike Robbins Wants to Restore Academic Performance and Reading, Writing, and Math to the Top of the RCS Central School District Priorities. Mike Robbins Wants to Ban Critical Race Theory, Drag-Queen Story Time, Transgender Sports, and Woke Ideology from the Classrooms in the RCS Central School District. Mike Robbins Wants to Return Decision Making to Parents over What Their Kids are Exposed to in Our Schools.

Experience Mike Robbins’ Introduction as a Candidate at the May 3, 2023, RCS-CSD BoEd Meeting.

Michael Coyne, Jaqueline Kalney, Peter Ross are Teachers Union Puppets Receiving Their Support from the Big Bucks Teachers Union and the RCS Teachers “Association” (= Union) Bald-Head Honcho Matt Miller, A Perennial Conniver in the RCS Central School District with Only Teachers Union on His Priority List. Now he wants you to approve $53M for what? Maybe he’s planning a transgender girls wrestling team or maybe boys-girls rooms and showers in the gym or maybe gender-change counseling during study hall? If the Dem Teachers Union is supporting it, you know it ain’t gonna be good for the kids!

VOTE NO ON COYNE, KALNEY, ROSS and NO ON THE $53Million School Budget.

VOTE NO ON THE RCS COMMUNITY LIBRARY BUDGET AND NO ON FOUL-MOUTH DEBORAH CARR AS TRUSTEE.

GET MIKE ROBBINS BACK ON THE RCS BOARD OF EDUCATION AND PUT PARENTS BACK IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT!!!

On Tuesday, May 16, the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is again asking voters to approve another over-the-top school budget of more than $53 million dollars, another increase over past budgets. You might be asking yourself why is the budget so high when we have just survived 2 years of social distancing, school closures, lockdowns and a host of other emergency mandates that kept kids out of the classroom and school employees at home.

Well, the answer to that question is that RCS Central School District employees and union Teachers all got paid whether they reported to schools or not. more than 70% of the budget goes to salaries and benefits; what’s left may go to education but who knows for sure.

The RCS Central School District includes two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. All of the schools have very low rankings in terms of academics, far below North Colonie whose student population is some three times that of RCS (1800 students) and whose budget is just a little over $108M. North Colonie’s student to teacher ratio is 14:1 while RCS’s is 9:1. An example of how poor RCS schools are can be seen in the SAT scores which are far lower than North Colonie’s 1800, and RCS comprehension scores of 51% compared to North Colonie’s 75%.

One explanation for the discrepancy might be the composition of the RCS-CSD Board of Education which is heavily overloaded with teacher’s union supported members, just as the present three candidates Coyne, Kalney, and Ross are. Coyne, Kalney, and Ross also overly represent the Corrections System which leads us to believe that they’re likely to view RCS schools in the same light as the NYS prison system.

Michael “Mike” Robbins is not a Teachers Union lackey. He has his ear to the ground and is the only candidate not beholden to the Teachers Union and a working member of the RCS community, who has direct contact with residents and parents.

Robbins is also a three-term veteran of the RCS Board of Education and has always placed education, not special interests, at the top of his priority list. For example, Mike Robbins knows what parents and residents want to see in our schools: According to Robbins, he hears parents and residents saying that they don’t want woke ideology in the schools. The don’t want transgender males on girls sports teams. They don’t want their kids forced into “drag queen story and show-and-tell time.” Robbins wants a return to teaching reading, writing, and math that ensure  the success of RCS graduates.

Robbins says NO! to a Board of Education that wants to leave parents out of the decision-making. Robbins says NO! to the woke school boards that make parents who protest into domestic terrorists simply because they don’t want their children exposed to filthy books in the school libraries. Robbins says NO! to critical race theory being forced down kids’ throats, causing self-loathing simply because they happen to be white!

Deborah Carr Key Point: “I don’t believe in censorship…of banned books. I [Carr] believe that parents should allow their kids to read or not read whatever it is and not any one group should decide what should be read or not read.” As an editor and educator, I believe Carr’s views are irresponsible and dangerous. What she’s promoting is take away parents’ authority to guide and parent their children.

You can tell Robbins has hit the woke Board of Education members’ nerve when, upon leaving the May 3, 2023 BoEd public meeting at the school, where he introduced himself to residents and parents as a BoEd candidate, he was ambushed and verbally attacked in the corridor by RCS Community Library trustee, Deborah “Debbie” Carr, who hurled insults at Robbins, allegedly saying,

You’re a bigoted, uneducated, a**hole, and you should get out of the school.

That’s the type of “professional” we have buying books and approving agendas for our kids!

Deborah Carr’s insults make you think, don’t they? Is this an elitist’s opinion of a working father? Is this what Deborah Carr and her woke Democrat kind think of the workers and providers who pay the taxes to fund her library budget and her teacher union friends’ pork barrel budget at the RCS Central School District?  Is this what they think about the rest of the community when they can ambush and attack in a dark hall somewhere? Is this the respect they teach your kids to have for you?

Jacqueline Kalney Key Point:The RCS Central School System has an unfortunately poor reputation as an employer.” Now, whose fault do you think that might be? If Kalney can make a statement like that, and the RCS Teachers Union is running the show — and it is, thanks to Matt Miller — We think that Kalney’s opinion of the local school district’s reputation should disqualify her as a BoEd candidate!

Another gem is BoEd candidate Jacqueline Kalney, another prison system employee, like Michael Coyne, a retired prison system employee and now running for a seat on the board. But we have a problem with COYNE: He is a resident of Glenmont, and doesn’t live in the Town.

The third Teachers Union puppet is Peter Ross, a teacher and sitting BoEd member. Ross and his wife are teachers and members of the Teachers Union. So who do you think they take their orders from?

Peter Ross’ Key Point: “I want teachers and students to take risks without repercussions.” These are very dangerous words coming from a teacher who claims to be in education for 22 years! How much damage has he caused in those 22 years, we might ask, by preaching a gospel of risk without responsibility! Is that what he’s teaching the kids? Take risks and regardless of the outcome, there won’t be repercussions? Maybe that’s why we have so many school shootings! Think about that!

For those of you who think you were left out of the loop and uninformed about what’s going on, you’re right. You were left out of the loop. You were left out of the loop because the Teachers Union is backing Coyne, Kalney, and, of course Ross. An the Teachers Union is urging voters to approve the high price tag of poor education at a price of $53M, while injecting gender identity politics, critical race theory, and woke ideology into your kids’ heads, while keeping parents in the dark.

That’s one of the reasons why Matt Miller, head of the RCS Teachers Union was running around with a copy of the voter rolls for the mailings of voter information. If you weren’t a registered Democrat, Miller just skipped you, that’s why Independents, Conservatives, Republicans never got the colorful voter information cards that were sent out by the Teachers Union and Matt Miller! Yes! Coyne, Kalney, and Ross are all in the Teachers Union’s pocket and getting their paid support from Matt Miller and the RCS Teachers Union.

Mike Robbins wants to get education for the the kids; the Teachers Union want’s to get wage hikes and benefits for the teachers for your $53M RCS school budget dollars. That’s why they hate him and try to silence him, leaving him out of every meeting and debate.

Mike Robbins wants to get woke, drag queens, and dirty mouthed library trustees  out of the picture, and bring back education for success.

Our schools are not centers for brainwashing young children or denying parents a say in what their kids are exposed to. But, when you think about it, these are the very liberal Democrats who vote to kill babies and advocate partial or even full-birth abortions! If they believe that killing babies is good, what can they possibly thing is bad? And what do they think about your kids?

Our community libraries are not hotbeds of woke ideology and fascist cancel-culture trustees like Debbie Carr and her dirty mouth. When this community is spending $480K out of a total expenses budget of $660K, that is, more than 2/3 of the library budget is going to staff salaries and benefits with an additional $12.7K going to staff professional development and board expenses, you’d like to have a say in what goes on the shelves and into the kids’ heads. Don’t you?

What’s more is if the adults in the room, that is, the library trustees can’t set an example of good conduct (We’re talking about you Ms Carr and your dirty mouth) and if they can’t play fairly, there’s no place for this school district to go but farther down on the list of failures in education.

The RCS Central School District, the RCS Central School District Board of Education, and the RCS Community Library Board need some cleaning up because they are damaged goods and are puppets of the Teachers Union and have been for some time. We need to get the politics and the craziness off the Board of Education and we need to clean up the library Board.

It seems the only way to do this is to get rid of the Teachers Union puppets like Coyne, Kalney, and Ross, and keep them and their crazy ideas off the Board of Education, and to get rid of characters like Deborah Carr off the Library Board.

Taxpayers and parents are not getting value for their money. It’s time voters protest in the most effective way possible: Hit them in the wallet. Vote NO on the RCS School Budget and NO on the RCS Community Library budget until the damaged goods are removed.

But if you’re still fence-sitting, think about this: A young person, a child, hasn’t enough life experience to actually interpret or critically analyze what they’re exposed to in school. They’re vulnerable and absorb like a sponge. The mixed messages they’re receiving from this woke ultraliberal teachers and their puppet BoEd members about their gender, identity, their place in society (e.g., critical race theory) are incredibly confusing to them. They even mess with their pronouns and make it difficult for the young person to even decide what they should even be called! They find it difficult to connect with the ideas, the concepts, the people. They become confused and disconnected; they become anti-social. We need to work on getting our kids re-connected, particularly in their classrooms. We need new decision-makers on the BoEd.
