Big News for the RCS Community!
Dear Smalbany Bloggers:
As many of you already know, the Editor is a staunch opponent of what s/he calls “asocial media,” and s/he ranks Facebook at the top of the abusers list. The sad fact is that the Editor is usually right, and this is no exception. Facebook started as an abuser and there are still irresponsible and immature people who abuse their freedom of expression, and Facebook has become their biggest meeting place. The rest of us can’t deny that fact.
But our Fearless Leader (“FL” for short), our Editor is entitled to her/his beliefs just as the rest of us are entitled to our own and to having hope. While we do agree with our Editor’s well-founded opinions and his facts, we do believe that even Facebook can do some good, despite those who make it a forum for evil and perversion.
The Editor has agreed to give it a try, and so you now have an online community where you can dialogue and share comments and insights, and information as part of this blog activity.
You’re all invited to join RCS Champions on Facebook, click here to go to (RCS Champions).
We’ve created RCS Champions as an alternative to the Coeymanazi propaganda sites at Save the Arts at RCS, RCS Sports Association, and Friends of Coeymans and More. RCS Champions is dedicated to the majority of RCS residents who are sick and tired of business as usual and no place to vent or to share their frustrations.
The Coeymanazis have set up numerous sites where they spread their venom and toxins thorugh misinformation and factoids and it’s high-time that an alternative is offered. RCS Champions is that alternative.
The site name, RCS Champions, was selected after much thought because it sends the message that you are the real champions who fight and pay for progress in the community. No special interests or self-serving agendas on RCS Champions, only real residents’ real concerns that need to be heard.
Welcome, spread the word, tell all your friends and neighbors, and be a frequent visitor to RCS Champions. And LIKE us on Facebook!
And PLEASE, make RCS Champions a haven for truth and good citizenship. Help us to prove our Fearless Leader, our Editor wrong. (Sorry! FL!) Help us to show that even Facebook can do some good.

I’m not sure, but I’ll bet there has to be 300 mobile homes there with a combined 600 votes. That means that you would need 601 votes tot over ride the vote. I’m sorry, but I don’t believe the community shows that many people voting at times. Start now!! Get organized! Free coffee and Donuts for caring members.

Something needs to be done to the “Mobile Home Parks” of the area. The owners are becoming dictators. What you need is a person like Shepard Drogan, or Sheldon Damsky there to inform the people there of their rights. There has to be 500 plus votes there to sway an election. Use them.

That’s an excellent idea, Tom, and I think the local crooked politicians are already negotiating for those votes. It’s important for someone with some integrity and smarts to get into those communities and start rallying those voters to get out and vote for a champion. But who can that champion be? Most of the incumbents and party endorsements are club members and have their own interests to serve. Most of the trailer-park residents have lower ideals, though, and would sell their vote for a SNAP card or an Arbee’s coupon.

Indeed you have me curious. I am a big fan of the million mask march and love to see local involvement. I grew up in Coeymans Hollow and know everyone there along with the new Mayor. Would you say your website has been more informative or is there a difference being made?

Perhaps you could tell us a little more abou the “million mask march” and how you’d like to see the local community or communities involved.
As for your last sentense, we don’t quite understand what you are asking but here goes: Yes!, this website is more informative than anything else out there for local residents and Yes! it is making a big difference.

That’ll be a change from business as usual in RCS. The resident majority are the champions as they should be. Now let them show it!

Thank you very much for your kind thought! We’re not in it for the profit, only for the ethical aspect of cleaning things up in this community. Perhaps some day we’ll look to promote the site but for now, we have humanitarian concerns.
Thanks again for your comment and we hope to continue to impress you! Be well and prosper!
