Totally Brainless! Ravena Employee Wants His SSAN Removed!

It seems that Nancy Warner, Annette Demitraszek, Kris Biernacki, and Cathy Deluca are not the only nitwits on the village of Ravena payroll. The whole village hall is filled to overflowing with the brain dead, the 100% brainless.

A village of Ravena resident writes to us:

Dear Editor,

Recently I was stopped and asked by a former Ravena Village employee if I could contact you and have his name and partial Social security info removed from one of your articles.  The employee couldn’t understand why his name and info was part of the article. He also asked, Why, some village employees’ names were not used.  He also believed I have some influence with you.  Wrong! I corrected him.
I stated I have been sharing records and info for over 35 years and I have shared it with dozens of groups over those years. I have no or very, very, very little influence with any or what this blog or its editor publishes. Many individuals from this community  contact this blog with their own info. There is a reason  why  documents  are file in “triplicate ,” so  there is at least three diffent  places the info is stored, from which to obtain the data.  There is more than one way to get info, files or data too. That’s why I share info with anyone who requests it. (If I have the records.
I had a brief discussion with the village employee after he explained to me, who they believed the “blogger” is and that I was working with him/her.  I stated, the person who you think the blogger is,grew up here, went to RSC schools. I moved here about 20 years ago, that person knows far more than I do about the players on both sides of any issue, and this community that’s If and a “BIG IF”, if that person were in fact the blogger. I asked have you ever “eye witnessed” them post the blog? I haven’t. I told the village employee to be careful about “hearsay” you could be very wrong!  [redacted] Be careful. I read the article, I see the theme as “incompetence”, “waste of tax dollar”s, the blog editor was pointing it out for billionth time. Your privacy rights were violated, you have a lawsuit. The employee stupidly replied I can’t sue the village!   Yes, you can. You can sue just to get records when they refuse to produce public records too!  State Judges get an un-redacted copy then they decide what to redact. I know Judge Keegan gave me an un-redacted copy 25 years ago.  The state employee was fired for accessing my record without my consent. Ok, here are some of your options about the article on the blog: You can write a comment to the editor, the blog and you don’t have to use your real name. You can talk to village mayor and/or trustees. You can contact the NYS attorney General’s office and/or the Office of the NYS Comptroller.  And yes I’ll repeat myself you can file a law suit against the village of Ravena for disclosing your personal information.
The village employee then asked me to write to you, as promised to the Village employee, I’m requesting you to remove their names and info.

Thank you
Laszlo Polyak

Ravena Clerk Discloses Protected Information: Aids Identity Theft

While we understand that nobody in Ravena village hall reads this blog. We also understand that village of Ravena employees don’t read this blog. Or so they’d like us to believe. So we’re just wondering what’s going on in Ravena village hall now that the cat is out of the bag and village of Ravena employees and former employees are aware that the village of Ravena clerk’s office is broadcasting their personal protected information? What’s Ravena mayor Misuraca doing about it? After all, he’s the head of the dead fish (that’s where it starts to rot). Nancy Warner was there the whole time and holds the dirty end of the stick. What’s the story with the Bruno appointees, the incompetence twins Demitraszek and Biernacki?

Why is the moron village employee going to a village resident to ask that his SSAN be removed from the blog? Just like everyone else in Ravena village hall he probably has his head up his arse and didn’t understand a word we wrote about the law-breaking still going on in Misuraca’s village hall. Misuraca didn’t get rid of or replace the rats left over from mayor Bruno’s dictatorship, Misuraca simply moved in with them.

Instead of thanking this blog and its contributors for letting the public know what’s going on in Ravena village hall. Instead of being grateful for the information that his personal protected information has been broadcast by the village of Ravena clerk’s office. Instead of going after the village of Ravena and the culprits who were disseminating protected personal information, the jackass goes to a local resident! A peanut has more intelligence than the village employee in question here!

Brainiac's Head X-ray

Brainiac’s Head X-ray

Here’s  how it’s done, Dumbo: You pull your head out of your arse, take a deep breath. Then you read Mr Polyak’s e-mail, that is, if you can read. Your beef is with the village of Ravena, Dumbass, not with this blog. You need to read Mr William “Mouse” Misuraca the riot act and ask Misuraca what in hell is going on there! You need to go to a village board meeting and raise some hell there. You need to file a complaint with the New York State Attorney General, the New York State Secretary of State and his moron Robert Freeman, who runs the Committee On Open Government (COOG: Phone: (518) 474-2518 – Fax: (518) 474-1927 – e-mail: coog@dos.ny.gov) — Yeah! He’s the one who tells Demitraszek and Biernacki what they can and cannot disclose when and if they respond to a citizen’s demand under the NYS Freedom of Information Act. You need to write a comment to this blog literately, that is, saying how you feel about the disclosure of your personal information, urging others to do the same.

You’re a good and honorable man, Mr Polyak. You kept your promise to the village employee but the names and last-four (some scrambled) stay posted. But you might want to ask why Nancy Warner’s, Hal Warner’s, Cathy Deluca’s, Annette Demitraszek’s, Kristine Biernacki’s names and SSANs aren’t on the list. We found that a bit business-as-usual for the village of Ravena. Selective treatment, selective disclosure.

As we mentioned in our original article, we’re just the messengers; the village of Ravena disclosed your personal information in full, not us. We had the courtesy to safeguard your information. You might ask who else might have your information, though, and what they’re doing with it thanks to your friends in village hall.

While you’re at it, you may want to  seize the opportunity and order yourself one of these nifty hats, just so that the general public knows you’re an employee of the Village of Ravena and they can take appropriate precautions.

Stupidity, Ignorance, Corruption: Do you know the difference? Faith Plaza is Sinking!

Some readers have called us pessimists and they’re dead wrong. You see, we’re actually realists, because we see things as they are, make no excuses, and ask Why?

That requires us to be able to differentiate among stupidity, ignorance, corruption and plain old crookedness; that’s something most Ravena-Coeymans- New Baltimore locals don’t seem to be able to get a handle on. So we’re going to provide a couple of illustrations to help those of you along, who don’t quite have a grasp on realism.

A number of years ago, during the reign of terror under former Ravena mayor Bailey, the Flachs purchased the marshland on which Faith Plaza was built. No doubt the entire business deal was crooked because not only was mayor Bailey involved but local shyster John Biscone, father of the current Ravena shyster, Michael Biscone, was also involved. So the Flachs lay down cold hard cash, get the property, and somehow manage to get approval to build on the marshland property that served as a catch basin for drainage from the streams and runoff. The deal to let the Flachs get the property and develop it was stupid and corrupt. Building on the marshland was stupid and ignorant. Now, anyone with eyes to see, can see that the parking lot is sinking. It’s probably only a matter of time until we read about the sinkhole and how many cars got swallowed up.

That’s one of the reasons why Ravena and Coeymans basements and cellars are cesspools of flooding water. Ask the brilliant engineers of Flach & Company why that is. You may also want to ask where the Department of Environmental Conservation was when all of this is happening? But then, just as in the case of the Conrad-Biscone involvement in the case of the disappearing creek on Camille Drive in Ravena, when the right hands are padded, the Department of Environmental Conservation looks for other victims to harrass. After all, it distracts the public’s attention from the real criminals and the real violations.

A Sinkhole

A Sinkhole

 Sinkhole Facts — Warning Signs

Sinkholes form when water dissolves minerals in the bedrock or in the sublayers of the ground leaving the structures on top of the ground sitting precariously on loose soil that can quickly wash away.

If a sinkhole is in the process of forming the structures on top of it can give a hint to its existence: for example, slumping or sagging areas in a parking lot or road, and trees that start to lean. More subtle signs can include doors and windows that don’t close properly.

Heavy rains can caus the collapse of a sinkhole that had been slowly forming earlier. When rainfall collects in an area where water previously did not collect, that is another sign that the land is subsiding.

Here’s another example from recent local history: A local man is growing a crop of marihuana plants in his home. That’s stupid. The Coeymans police get a tip from a local druggie that the guy has an illegal weapon in his home, and the Coeymans police go to a local jackass town justice, Mr Dardiani, and get an illegal search warrant. That’s stupid and ignorant. The Coeymans police intimidate the guy’s minor kid and interrogate him at the RCS high school. That’s stupid, ignorant, and very likely illegal in some important respects. The Coeymans police enforce the search warrant and forcibly enter the guys home but don’t find the illegal weapon but find the pot crop. That’s just plain lucky. The Coeymans police with the help of a now defeated Coeymans town board member and others (Tom Dolan, Tom Boehm, Dawn Rogers) exaggerate the entire thing to get press just before the elections. That’s stupid and corruptBoehm and Rogers lose the election. Dolan looks stupid, and loses not only elections for the Democraps but loses all credibility. That’s brilliant!

Bridge to reroute port traffic away from local roads”, a report by Bryan Rowzee that appeared in the June 5, 2014, issue of the Ravena News Herald is another case in support of our subject.

Mr Rowzee continues his typical boot-licking dog-and-pony act by attempting to misinform and befuddle the readers of the Ravena Rag by putting a falsely positive and unrealistic slant on the Carver Companies, Port of Coeymans and Coeymans Industrial Park plans to take over a portion of Riverview Drive for their own use, and to build a private bridge, intended to connect the Riverview Drive with the Port of Coeymans and the Coeymans Industrial Park (all Carver properties). Unfortunately, Mr Rowzee again gets sucked into reporting only what the special interests want him to write and not what serves the public’s interest. Here’s why:

No one in the Town of Coeymans or the Village of Ravena seems to get it! The basic problem is the fact that our roads were never constructed to handle the heavy truck traffic at all. That’s the problem. The braniacs in town and village hall don’t seem to have eyes in their heads or the sense to realize that the roads are being devastated because they were never built to accommodate the huge trucks of today!

Contracy to Ravena mayor Misuraca’s assessment of why Ravena’s water mains are constantly rupturing (Misuraca seems to put all the blame on the fact that they’re old), Moose the Mayor for some reason has completely ignored and overlooked the fact that trucks weighing multiple tons traveling over the village streets create such vibrations that they literally destroy the water conduits over which they travel! Old may be part of the problem but it’s not the complete story, Mr Mayor Moose! Rome Italy is still using water mains that were built by the Romans more than 2000 years ago and they, sir, are old! But Rome doesn’t have trucks weighing dozens of tons running over them dozens of times a day, either. The village of Ravena does!

Solution: Reduce the heavy truck traffic running through Ravena all day long. The village streets were never meant for such traffic. At some point (real soon) you may want to start thinking like a mayor with an understanding ot fhe complete picture, too.

The Bridge to Oblivion

The Bridge to Oblivion

The Bridge to Oblivion

Back to the Carver Controversy: If it weren’t a sure sign that something was amiss when the town of Coeymans rushed the zoning changes through. If it weren’t a surer sign that something was crooked when the re-zoning was declared illegal. And if it weren’t a sure sign that something was getting even more crooked when the old bait-and-switch line was used, “There’ll be a bunch of new jobs created.” Yeah! That’s what we heard when they put up the Athens generating plant. Horse apples!

Readers: Use your God-given common sense, your familiarity with the lay of the land, and your recent experience. Here we have monster trucks now coming in and out of Riverview, an area that was never intended for such traffic but that’s moot. They’re there and that’s the bad news. The good news, well, almost good, is that at least by the time you get to the bridge over the Coeymans creek  you can clearly see them pulling out in front of you, and you can take evasive action. (That’s not true when they are coming down the hill and entering 144 from Ravena Main Street/Church Street. That’s a death trap!)

The planned route is going to be even more problematic. Entering Coeymans from the North, we approach at about 55 mph, see a 30 mph sign going into the curve, but you don’t see beyond the first 100-200 feet. In that very same curve is the entrance to the Port of Coeymans, the very place where the Coeymans cops used to — still do — wait in ambush for unwary drivers who don’t reduce their speed to 30 mph by the time they reach that point. That was great for the cops because the curve in the road provided excellent cover, and the short distance between the transition from 55 to 30 mph required some quick motor skills going into the curve. (Visit Stopping Distances to learn more.)

Well, that’s exactly where we undertand the Carver bridge will open up and cross 144. And they’ll have two lanes, apparently one lane crossing in either direction. Ladies and gentlemen, dear readers, the only ones who are going to benefit from this arrangement are Carver Laraway and Babcock Funeral Home.

Truck vs. Car Truck Wins

Truck vs. Car
Truck Wins

The current situation is already dire. Anyone driving along SR 144 both in the Hamlet of Coeymans and just beyond the Lafarge crossing — that very crossing should be a glaring example of what to expect if Laraway puts in another heavy truck crossing just down the road, in Coeymans—has surely experienced the trucks pulling out of the so-called Port and putting you at risk of life and limb. They just pull out. Period. No one seems to care that they have to share the road with you.

But it’s worse still. Not only to they just pull out in front of you, they don’t have the sense to wait until smaller, faster traffic passes and they can then pull out and travel at 20 mph for the first couple of miles, reaching 30 mph in about 2 miles, maybe 40 mph in about 5 miles. They’re in a real hurry to get nowhere! In the meantime, they’re trying to cream you and leave your kids orphans.

But it does get worse still. There’s the dust! If the trucks don’t get you, the dust will! The trucks are raising mountains of dust not only in the port itself but even once they are on SR 144. Here are just some for-instances:

  • Visibility. On a sunny, dry day, the dust clouds create a zero visibility situation. That’s very dangerous, especially when you think that other trucks are entering from one of the other entrances/exits to the port or from Lafarge.
  • Your car’s air filter. Travel SR 144 a couple of times a day, driving throught those dust clouds, and just think about how often you’re going to have to change your cars air filter. Only Nappa wins on this point.
  • How often to you wash your car now? Well drive down SR144 during the hours the trucks are in operation and you can pretty much double those washings. And think about the damage to the paint job with all those tiny sandpaper particles grinding away at it. Only Flach’s carwash is a winner on this point.
  • And your clothes? Do you think that when you walk, drive or ride in the area where the wind is carrying all that dust and dropping it on your community that your clothes or your furnishings are going to be spared. Think again! Here’s were Flach and his laudramat and drycleaning business are going to make a killing, too.
  • But the worst is yet to come. Think of your lungs! It’s bad enough when you can avoid driving on SR 144 and avoid the dust clouds and the hazardous drivers of those heavy trucks but the large particles are not the culprits in serious lung diseases caused by airborne dust. It’s the very small particles that lodge in the lungs and cause serious lung diseases, or aggravate the lung diseases people are already suffering. Airborne dust contains not only particles that can cause restrictive and obstructive lung diseases, aggravate allergies, those dusts also contain toxins and heavy metals that are deadly. Dear readers, Obamacare isn’t going to help you here. You’d better invest in high-efficiency particle filter face masks—or stock up on oxygen canisters. Albany Medical Center and its satellite clinics are going to make a bundle on this baby.
  • Our Homeland. We’ll just round this brief discussion off with a final note on our beautiful Hudson Valley, the lush green of our summers, the beautiful air from the foothills of the Catskills—Kiss it all goodby thanks to the total stupidity, ignorance and corruption of our local elected officials. They’ve sold our health and our homes for Judas’ silver, and they’re after our health, too!

So, dear readers, before you lick up Mr Bryan Rowzee’s boot-licking reports and stooge Andrea Colby’s propaganda, and before you swallow Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach’s ignorant and uninformed pablum, lend an ear to concerned and serious local residents like Elyse Kunz and Barbara Heinzen, they’re being realistic in condemning this ill-fated and corrupt plan to destroy not only the character of the hamlet and the village, but threaten our very lives and health, while destroying irreplaceable habitat. And for what? To fill the pockets of the few! To cow to false and unrealistic promises of prosperity? We’ve heard it all before and we’ve suffered immensely for trusting them.

Stop them NOW before it’s too late.

Mr Bryan Rowzee reported in that same issue of the Ravena News Herald on “Should backyard chickens be allowed in Ravena?” Now that’s certainly a monumental concern when compared to the Carver Laraway destruction projects. Maybe Mr Rowzee should restrict his writing to discussions of backyard chickens. The Ravena News Herald gave the chickens as much space in the June 5th issue of the Ravena Rag as it did to the Bridge scandal. What does that tell you?

Letter to the Editor: Town of Coeymans Should Merge Ravena and Coeymans Hamlet!

On occasion, some readers’ comments are just so good and so on-topic that we think they should be published on their own as free-standing articles. With this in mind, we’ll be publishing what we call “Letters to the Editor,” similar to those you’d read in any of the local rags, but much more informative and honest, of course. It’s so much better to have readers themselves do the writing, since that frees us up to do more research and uncover more facts for you.

This letter-to-the-editor is the second letter of a two-part series that we think you’ll really enjoy, especially in this pre-election run-up period in Ravena. When reading these letters, you may want to ask you why these commonsense actions haven’t been taken already by the residents of Ravena and Coeymans and the town of Coeymans. After all, Ravena and the Hamlet of Coeymans were once one single municipality. They’ve had several decades to make the division work but to date the split of Ravena and the Hamlet of Coeymans has caused only problems and bitterness. Why not go back to the merged community and have some peace and save some money? So here goes!

Letter-to-the-Editor1
Dear Editor, Dear Neighbors:

As we know, some things and some things remain the same. However, at some point, change is necessary, needed and valuable.

With this in mind, I offer the following:

The Hamlet of Coeymans seems to be in a stagnant situation, both  with a population that is not increasing and with a lack of services that its residents should have. The residents pay higher fees for both Village of Ravena drinking water and Sewer District Tax.

In contrast to what is perceived as a modern move to consolidation, I propose that the Hamlet of Coeymans petition the Village of Ravena for Annexation-that is, the residents of the Hamlet actually become ‘residents’ of the Village of Ravena with all the privileges afforded the current residents of the Village.

I offer there must be a number of caveats to this Annexation (and there are more I am sure):

1.  Coeymans Fire Company maintains its current structure and coverage area along with the current taxing authority to maintain its equipment and continue to be able to protect its area in the exemplary manner it always has.

2. The ‘new’ residents continue to have and use the current Post Office, Zip Code and address-much like Colonie and Menands residents do with regard to and with their relationships to Albany. The idea of mail delivery to those who wish to take advantage should also be investigated

By the Annexation, users of the Village of Ravena water supply and the Sewer Customers of the District would all be under the auspices of the Village of Ravena, who would be responsible for the entire systems. Of course this would take additional resources but we can get to that later.  Additionally, all the customers of the Water and Sewer Distrcts would pay the same rates, in contrast to the current system-this means the former Hamlet residents would see a sharp drop in both rates which may equate to the now payable Village of Ravena tax!

The new residents would also be able to take advantage of services formerly available to only the original Village residents, like brush pickup, street cleaning, Holiday Decorations, a second vendor for Cable TV Services, stump removal and the like.

With regard to staffing, workload and duties: I offer that the Current Village Building Department be responsible not only for the expanded Village but also for the rest of the Town of Coeymans and staff from Coeymans be moved to accommodate this. It would make sense too as Coeymans Building Department needs would go down and the Village up. I would think the same issues might be in line for the Clerk Offices, Highway Department and Court Offices too. We may even have a chance for some building/office consolidation and economic savings to boot!

At the same time, the Annexation would allow the Town of Coeymans to explore the possibility of having it’s own municipal water and sewer systems to encourage community growth and maybe enjoy some prosperity because of it. Just imagine municipal water and sewers ‘out back’, on the northern Route9W and northern 144 ends of Town!!

Seeing as the current Route 144  ‘home’ for the Town Highway Employees (the former Coeymans Firehouse) will not be needed any longer, it can go back to taxable property and maybe a Stewart’s or the like will show up!  The former Town occupants will have less to do as the park would be now on Village property, so the remaining employees can either move to the Town Office Building or the Highway Department as their new workstation. [Editor’s Note: Once the Town of Coeymans makes the right choice and eliminates the Coeymans police department, the space in the basement of the Town Hall can accommodate both a Sheriff’s satellite office and the highway department staff! Actually, it might make a great RC Youth and Teen Activities Center!]

I know there is more to this than I have outlined but the idea may just have merit and is worth discussing. Why not talk about it?

Outsider

Now isn’t this what our elected town board and village board should be thinking about and proposing, instead of acting like grinning idiots every time someone wants to create a dump or a transfer station in residents’ back yards? Isn’t this what our elected officials should be envisioning instead of bickering like a coven of old hags and creating discord and anxiety, while resident’s basements are filling with water and sewerage, 100-year-old water mains are failing, village and town are hemorrhaging residents, tax base, and businesses? Come on, people, listen to the Voice of Reason and make some changes!

Get rid of Bruno and his gang-bangers, and kick the Town of Coeymans’ board in the ass and get some action!

Outsider is a frequent commenter and reader. We think he’s been in local government in the past because he knows an awful lot about the people and events. He also thinks like a good administrator should think. But we’d like to hear what YOU think about Outsider’s letter. Please leave a comment.

We Want To Know Who They Are, What They Know, Who’s Behind Them!!!!

It’s Election Time Again and They’re Out For Your Vote,  In the Local Rags and They’re Knocking On Our Doors—and it’s not Trick-or-Treaters!

But Who Are They, Anyway?!?!?

Do You Know Any of these People? I mean before they appeared at your door?

Do You Know Any of these People?
I mean before they appeared at your door?

The problem is that we know only those incumbents who we see on public access television, thanks to our one-horse-town cable provider, MidHudson Cable, who is in their pockets, too. And what we see is not very easy on the stomach. It makes the Three Stooges look like rocket scientists. Compared to the Ravena village council, the Coeymans town board, and the New Baltimore flea circus, the Keystone Cops look like Nobel prize laureates.

stooges rocket

Most voters fool themselves into thinking they know something about them because the local rags publish their statements, statements written by the candidates’ keepers or by the candidates themselves but does anyone really read them? Sure, curiosity compels us to read them but they’re so full of misinformation it makes you want to puke. They tell us only what they want us to know and that’s not much and what there is, is—well, pig-in-lipstick.

What we need is to know is what we want to know…

Not what THEY want us to know!!!

complete and utter bullshitDid you know that village hall and town hall don’t have résumés for their board members? No, they don’t. And they don’t require them either. So if you wanted to know about a board member’s education, employment, previous employment you wouldn’t be able to find out. Is that fair?

All you get to know about the candidates is that they’re running, which political party is supporting them, and what they want you to know.

We say: Get them all into village hall and town hall and let’s have a town meeting. All of the candidates together. Let the community ask the tough questions and get the answers in person, on the spot, and on public access TV so those who can’t make it to the meeting can see and hear.

Let’s ask them directly about who they are, what they know about the community, what they’ve done, what their experience is, what their education is, and some burning questions that they’ll have to answer now and produce results if they are elected.

For example, I would like to ask Susan O’Rorke, town supervisor for the Town of New Baltimore, about the town purchasing policies and about the purchase of a new truck for more than $100,000. I’d like to ask Susan O’Rorke how and why she lost the Independenc Party’s endorsement and why her petition signatures were disqualified. I’d like to know her take on why she got only 4 votes in the primaries.

I’d like to know what Diane Jordan’s education and qualifications—we mean other than the fact that she’s an insider and married to the New Baltimore Highway superintendent, Denis Jordan— are to be tax collector. And I’d like to know the same answers from their opponents.

Two other insiders are running for town board seats in New Baltimore: Angelis and Schrauf. These two are closely connected with the lunatic fringe in New Baltimore and are members of the Insiders Club. Control freaks. In fact, Schrauf was rewarded for her club activities by being made the director of—you’re not going to believe this title—Director of the New Baltimore Farmer’s Market! It’s a paid position in New Baltimore. You know somethng’s got to be fishy when they give someone a title like that!  Now, would you want anyone with a title like that and a member of that elitist club to be making decisions about your life and family? The gender-ambiguous Angelis is in the community but not of the community; she belongs to the Ross-Knighton-O’Rorke-Conservancy club. Now you know for sure why Angelus can’t be considered as a potential New Baltimore town boad member. If you put the names Schrauf and Angelis together you get DISASTER! Please don’t try it!

We’re curious also why Angelis and Schrauf don’t use their first names on their campaign signs; you’d think they were trying to hide the fact that they’re women. If anyone can come up with a better explanation, we’d love to hear it.

Angellis + Schrauf = DISASTER Two New Baltimore Candidates Spell Trouble

Angellis + Schrauf = DISASTER
Two New Baltimore Candidates Spell Trouble

I’d like to ask Michelle Maddage, running for Coeymans town clerk, how many years of experience she has in a town clerk’s office. I’d like to ask Ms Maddage about her work experience and her education. I’d like to ask her some specific questions on the town clerk’s jobs and test her knowledge of municipal law, freedom of information law, etc.  I”d like to ask Ms Maddage how much experience she has serving on municipal boards. But most especially, I’d like to ask Ms Maddage about her relationship with Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington, and I’d ask Mr Darlington why he pushed Michelle Maddage to run for town clerk, a position for which she has absolutely NO QUALIFICATIONS or EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER!!!!

Still in the town of Coeymans: I’d like Mr Thomas “Tom” Boehm to tell us exactly what he’s done to bring new business to the town of Coeymans (and I don’t mean the dust factory on Rt 144 that’s clogging everyone’s lungs, air filters but is a God-send for Flach’s car wash!). What exactly has Mr Boehm done for Coeymans besides make life miserable for people in Coeymans town hall and keep a chair warm with his fat ass? Mr Boehm, we need you to appear at a meet the candidates event, stand up at the podium, and tell us about your record!

We dedicated an entire article to Mr Thomas Boehm. You can read it by clicking on this link: Thomas “Tom” Boehm: Boehm, Boehm, Boehm, Bum!

And Ms Dawn Rogers: You need to get a real life, a real job, and some real friends. You are about as effective as tits on a bull. You’re about as visible as the spaces between these words. What in hell do you do on the Coeymans town board, anyway? What we need to know is: “Are you really alive?” Rather than FOIL reams of board meeting minutes, maybe if you appear at a meet the candidates event, take the podium and expose yourself to open questions from the community, we’d have a reason to vote for you, or not to (which is more likely). Come on, let’s go public!

We’d ask also why George Dardiani, the traffic ticket collection agent for the town of Coeymans masquerading as a town justice, even bothers to waste money on campaign signs. When we can’t even start to speak of qualifications and Dardiani in the same breath; he has none. No one wants the dull-witted job enough to run against him. He’s running unopposed; in other words, you’re not really voting or making a choice when it comes to “electing” a town justice. Best thing to do is don’t even waste your time pulling the lever or checking off his name. The fewer of us that give him the satisfaction of putting his name on the rolls the better; at least he won’t have the numbers.

tits on a bull

George Dardiani is a Bull with Tits

The village of Ravena is so corrupt and such a mess we don’t even want to get involved in discussing the favoritism and unsavory business that goes on there. But Coeymans has been infected with the favoritism bug. You have the chief of police, Gregory Darlington hiring his daughter and other kids of friends to work as police dispatchers. What’s wrong with the rest of the community? You have Cathy Deluca hiring her favorites and relatives to work inthe Ravena Health and Fitness Center. What’s wrong with the rest of the community? You have Dawn LaMountain in the Coeymans police department as Darlingtons “confidential secretary” (Darlington got the Coeymans town board to approve hiring Kerry Thompson, too, to be Darlington’s administrative assistant at a cool $31+/hr*) and you have her rotund son getting hired to be a police officer (trainee) in the same department. Now you have LaMountain’s husband, George LaMountain, running for Town of Coeymans Highway Superintendent! How many LaMountains do we need in Coeymans town hall?!?! Is the Coeymans town hall turning into a members-only country club, like the village of Ravena or New Baltimore?

Even the New York State Comptroller’s auditors found that the village of Ravena is trouble for Coeymans. Read our coverage of the Comptroller’s audit report on the town of Coeymans’ recordkeeping and financial procedures, how Ravena doesn’t pay its bills! Click on this link to read the report: Ravena Doesn’t Pay its Sewer Bill

* Just what does Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington do in his backwater police department that he needs a “confidential secretary” and an “administrative assistant“? Wouldn’t you like to ask your Coeymans town board members that question? After all, they’re in charge of supervising the operations of the Coeymans police department and approving its budget! No wonder Coeymans town payroll is more than $3.2 million a year! Everyone there gets a friend or family members jobs. But that’s another question for the Coeymans board candidates.

Voters! You need to stop this NOW! You, WE, need to get this under control. It’s Stupid and it’s Crazy!

And then there’s Mr Martin “Marty” Case, who has his four eyes on the town of Coeymans supervisor’s office. But that’s not very likely, Marty-boy. We won’t waste space here because we’ve dedicated an entire article to Martin “Marty” Case and his handlers in Ravena village hall. Dubbed the Tipsy-Teacher because of allegations that Case took to partying while chaperoning a group of RCS students to Washington DC, we’d like to get case in front of a community group and ask him a couple of questions. Wouldn’t you? By the way, Marty, the town supervisor position is a full-time position. We’d like to ask you how you’ll manage a full-time teaching position, the town supervisor position, and don’t you also sell real-estate with Josie Bruno at Prudential real estate? How ya gonna do it all, Marty?

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read the article on Martin “Marty” Case, click this link Marty Case to read it. Martin Case, Marty’s a Real Case!

A reader just commented on one of our recent articles: “Voters Need to Clean House; All New Tenants for Village and Town Halls” : “A new broom sweeps clean! Before it’s too late:

  • Let’s get all the candidates together in one place

  • Let’s get them to debate the issues one-on-one: Supervisor candidates, clerk candidates, board-member candidates

  • Let’s give the community the opportunity to ask them important questions

  • Let’s force them to commit to action and hold them accountable if they are elected

  • Let’s get the media, print and television to cover the debates and town-hall meetings (we’ll also see how committed the local rags and MidHudson are to our interests!)

  • Let’s put them on the spot and let them know they’re accountable to us, the voters

  • Let’s sweep village and town hall clean, finally and keep the insiders OUT!

  • Based on the answers and responses let’s vote with our heads!

NYS Comptroller’s Audit Slams Coeymans Board for Financial Mismanagement; Ravena Doesn’t Pay its Sewer Bill

The New York State Comptroller’s Office Released its Findings Today on its Audit of the Town of Coeymans Financial Recordkeeping and Cash Disbursements

Ravena Dispute Cited for Shortfalls

Comptroller Cites Ravena Sewer Dispute for Shortfalls

Village of Ravena Cited for Causing Enormous Revenue Shortfall and Capital Expenditures in Coeymans

While the Comptrollers auditors cite a number of discrepancies in the town of Coeymans’ financial recordkeeping and checkwriting practices, it specifically cites the village of Ravena’s failure to pay its fair share of sewer billings because of Ravena’s “over the Town’s cost allocation method and costs incurred for sewer-related capital projects.” This forced the town of Coeymans to dig into the town general fund to compensate, which caused a cascade of problems.

According to the Comptroller’s report:

As noted in our prior audit report,1 the sewer district fund ended 2009 with a fund deficit of about $590,000 as a result of a shortfall in operating revenues. This shortfall was caused by the non-payment of sewer charges from the Village of Ravena (Village) resulting from a dispute over the Town’s cost allocation method and costs incurred for sewer-related capital projects that should have been accounted for in the capital project fund, rather than the sewer district fund. As a result, Town officials made substantial interfund advances to the sewer district fund from the part-town general fund to finance the revenue shortfall and capital expenditures. (Report, p. 7)

The sewer district fund’s liability originated in the years prior to our audit period. The sewer district fund’s finances were severely impacted in 2009 due to a substantial shortfall in operating revenues because of the dispute with the Village over the Town’s cost allocation method and costs incurred for sewer-related capital projects (previously discussed). (Report, p. 9)

The report goes on to say that the town of Coeymans did not accurately report the actual condition of the sewer district fund with serious consequences:

Although the financial condition of the sewer district fund has been improving and is better than originally reported, the failure to accurately report this information increases the risk that the Supervisor and Board will not be able to effectively evaluate and manage the Town’s financial activities. (Report, p. 9) [our emphasis]

The town of Coeymans’ financial reports do not correctly report the real financial condition of the sewer district fund. Coeymans 2011 annual financial report reported an unrestricted fund balance deficit of $230,368 in the sewer district fund. This balance was incorrect because there were costs incurred for other capital projects that were incorrectly accounted for in the sewer district fund instead of the capital projects fund and the sewer district fund included an interfund loan to the capital projects fund that was, in effect, uncollectible because that project had been closed. If the necessary adjustments were made to the accounting records, The Town would have reported a positive fund balance of $451 in the sewer district fund instead of the negative $230,000. According to the Comptroller’s report:

General Municipal Law states that moneys advanced between funds are to be repaid as soon as the funds become available, but in no event later than the close of the fiscal year in which the advance was made. While the use of an interfund advance is a permissible form of short – term borrowing to meet current cash flow needs, it is not intended to be used as a long-term approach for providing financial resources. (Repport, p. 9)

This situation highlights why it is important to maintain accurate and complete financial reports so that the Board can determine the financial condition of a fund at any point in time. Without accurate financial information, the Board cannot effectively evaluate and manage the Town’s financial activities. (Report, p. 10)

The Comptroller’s auditors also found serious problems in the town of Coeymans payroll practices, lack of supervision of the payroll clerk’s operations, and failure to secure the towns check stock! Here’s what the auditors write:

An important component of any internal control system is proper segregation of duties over cash disbursements, which ensures that no one person controls all phases of a transaction. Concentrating key duties (such as authorization, recordkeeping, and custody of assets) with one individual with little or no management oversight through increased supervision significantly increases the risk that errors or irregularities could occur and go undetected. (Report, page 12)

That’s what the auditor’s found happening in Coeymans: one person has control over everything — just like in the village of Ravena and the town New Baltimore — which “significantly increases the risk that errors or irregularities could occur and go undetected.” Sounds like common sense, doesn’t it? Well, maybe someone should ask Mr Thomas Boehm, Mr Thomas Dolan, Mr Peter Masti, Ms Dawn Rogers why commons sense is in such short supply on the Coeymans town board? Didn’t the residents of the town of Coeymans elect the Gang-of-Four to keep an eye on things like this? Instead, they go ahead and cooperate with the village of Ravena on Ravena mayor John Bruno’s Make-Us-A-Ghost-Town Project or to rename the town Reubenville! Dumb as a box of rocks!

Coeymans Town Board Boehm, Dolan, Masti, Rogers at Work for You

Coeymans Town Board
Boehm, Dolan, Masti, Rogers at Work for You

Actually, from where we’re sitting it looks like the only “significant irregularities” that have happened have happened in the voting booths: somehow Tom Boehm, Tom Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers got elected. Same “significant irregularities” happened in the village of Ravena when mummy-mayor John Bruno, the wicked witch-on-a-stick, Nancy Warner, and the Ravena Flying Monkeys, William “Bill” Bailey (a.k.a. “Ravena Mumbles”), Martin “Marty” Case (a.k.a. the “Tipsy Teacher”), and Rocco Persico (a.k.a. the “Shrinking Shrink”)  got elected! And don’t sit there sniggering, New Baltimore, you’ve shot yourselves in the foot with your painted piglet Susan O’Rorke and Chris Norris (Didn’t he get early retirement for mental problems? Says it was because of 911 but the record allegedly shows he was on vacation when 911 occurred!). But more on New Baltimore later. Much more!

The Town’s payroll-related costs total almost $3.2 million per year. Therefore, it is essential that management design and implement effective controls over the payroll process comprising well-developed practices and procedures, adequate managerial oversight, and proper segregation of duties. (Report, p. 12)

There is an inadequate segregation of duties because of the payroll clerk’s over-involvement in the payroll process…As a result, there is an increased chance that errors or irregularities could occur and not be detected and corrected in a timely fashion. (Report p. 12 – 13)

In plainlanguage this means that the poor recordkeeping and lack of supervision of Town of Coeymans financial activties can’t detect who’s thieving or where. This same lack of recordkeeping and lack of supervision by the town of Coeymans town board is what we’ve been writing about with regard to the Coeymans police department and so-called chief Gregory Darlington. With almost every step the town of Coeymans town board members have tripped over their own feet and have failed the people of this town. (It seems the only two people in Coeymans town hall with any sense of duty or common sense are Diane Millious, the town clerk, and town supervisor, Stephen Flach, but they’re outnumbered at least 3-1 by the rocks-in-a-box, Boehm, Dolan, Masti, Rogers, and Darlington and his thugs!)

David Wukitsch, town attorney, is about as useful as tits on a bull or pants on a hooker!

David Wukitsch, Esq. Town Attorney for Coeymans and New Baltimore "Tits on a Bull"

David Wukitsch, Esq.
Town Attorney for Coeymans and New Baltimore
“Tits on a Bull”

One problem common to both the town of Coeymans and the town of New Baltimore is a legal-lesion known as a David Wukitsch, who acts as town attorney for both towns. Wukitsch is about as useful as a one legged man at an ass-kicking contest or pants on a hooker! Wukitsch’s legal advice has caused both towns more legal problems than it has prevented. We’re preparing an article on the town of New Baltimore and some of the craziness that Susan O’Rorke and her flying monkeys have cooked up, and David Wukitsch is right there to provide the worst legal advice available, second only to David Soares’ legal ignorance.

So, there you have it. The New York State Comptroller’s auditors confirm what we all knew in our deepest places what is true: We’ve elected a bunch of rocks to oversee taxpayer dollars, and that box of rocks can’t even put common-sense safeguards in place to ensure that you’re either not robbed blind — which is the case in the village of Ravena and very likely the case in the town of New Baltimore as it now stands — and the vile, hateful bunch of incompetents on the Village of Ravena board want to ship their shit to Coeymans and then default on the bill. Problem is, the town of Coeymans can’t even do the simple math or keep their beans in the proper boxes so Coeymans residents don’t have a clue how much or how little or where it is!

Ravena Laws Unconstitutional! Violation of Protected First Amendment Rights AGAIN!

Our Advice: Wear a Wire. Protect yourself when you talk to the Ravenazis or the Coeymanazis, when you enter their dens, when they approach you. New York State is a “one-party state” which means that if you are a party to a conversation you can tape the conversation without having to tell anyone. They’re crazy-paranoid now that they know we know they can be taped. If they behave themselves—which is highly unlikely—they have nothing to fear; if they don’t behave—which is very likely—you’ve got evidence and they have a problem. Ask mayor John Bruno and Cathy Deluca…they know!

Part One of a Multipart Exposé

All About Ravena, the Coeymans Police Department, Un-American Activities, Rights Violations, and Criminality Right Under Your Noses!

The Village of Ravena is Probably One of the Most Corrupt and Criminal Organizations Existing in The United States!

Mayor John "Black Mamba" Bruno and His Hand-Picked Hatchet-Heads Nancy Warner, Martin Case, Rocco Persico, William Bailey, Annette Demitraszek Burn the Constitution Daily

Mayor John “Black Mamba” Bruno and His Hand-Picked Hatchet-Heads
Nancy Warner, Martin Case, Rocco Persico, William Bailey, Annette Demitraszek
Burn the Constitution Daily

Or the Village of Ravena is the Perfect Example of What Can Go Horribly Wrong in a Community and its Government!

Mayor John “Black Mamba”*  Bruno of the village of Ravena, New York, a small backwater ghetto suppressed by a gang of leftovers of the once flourishing Albany Democrat Machine is the godfather of a bunch of hooligan hatchet-heads who make up his royal court: village council members Nancy Warner, William “Bill” BaileyMartin “Marty” Case, and Rocco Persico, and hand-picked appointee village clerk, Annette Demitraszek. The Ravena village board members call themselves erroenously “trustees” but they can be trusted only to screw local residents and taxpayers, to discriminate against anyone who disagrees with them, to richly reward anyone as crooked as they are (example: the Ravena Health and Fitness Club a.k.a. Cathy Deluca’s playpen).

* As the legend goes, Bruno, once a shiff supervisor at the local cement plant, got his nickname back when he was sleeping on the job at the cement plant and due to his negligence, he burnt up one of the kilns. His coworkers have since called him the “Black Mamba.” At the cement plant he was also known for his unfair practices when it came to promoting his favorites over the qualified. Nothing has changed.

We are uncovering just how criminal and un-American Bruno and his hatchet-heads really are. We recently published an exposé on how Bruno, the village of Ravena village board, and local shyster Michael Biscone, one of the most unethical and sleezy lawyers in the area, attempted to suppress residents’ First Amendment rights of free speech and expression when they wanted to censor the right to speak at public meetings. If you missed that article you can read it at (Click the links!):  Business as Usual in Ravena: Violation of Constitutional Rights! (read our article also on how the Coeymans Police Department suppresses freedom of speech at Coeymans Police Suppress Freedom of Speech!).

Village of Ravena Makes Misleading Application to the Albany County Civil Service Department to Get Cathy Deluca Non-Competitive Civil Service Job Title as Fitness Center Director

We’ve also published a number of articles on this blog about how Ravena’s mummy mayor John Bruno and girlfriend “trustee” Nancy Warner teamed up with Cathy Deluca, the wife of Coeymans police investigator and local thug, Gerald “Dirty Hands Jerry” Deluca, to illegally spend $40,000 of taxpayer money to buy used fitness equipment, then to create the Ravena Health and Fitness Center (Rats-nest Heap and Fatness Clinic) behind everyone’s back. Then they tried to create a non-competitive civil service position for Cathy Deluca, who has no real qualifications and who’s getting $30,000 of taxpayer money out of the $105,000+ of taxpayer money allocated to fund the RHFC for 2013-2014. By the way, mayor Bruno, Nancy Warner and Cathy Deluca got caught red-handed in their lies to the Albany County Civil Service Department when a local resident obtained their application. Michael Cummings, another local democrat tool and director of the Albany County Civil Service Department had some explaining to do when we caught him with his pants down around his ankles after he approved the application that was incomplete! Ravena had to submit a number of justifications but didn’t and Cummings approved the application anyway! They probably thought they’d never get caught. But we caught them and the cat hit the fan in Albany. We’re still keeping tabs on that little sneaky operation and we’ll continue to report on the local and Albany County Civil Service corruption. Stay tuned!

Cathy Deluca Abuses Local Resident and Tells Him He’s Not Welcome and Gets the Village of Ravena Sued for Her Violation of the Resident’s Protected Constitutional Rights!

Then there’s the happening at the Ravena Health and Fitness Center when a local resident visited the place for a tour and was accosted and abused by Cathy Deluca, who then told him he had to leave, “You’re not welcome here.”  That was a brilliant example of a big mistake and total ignorance by Cathy Deluca and her keepers because it violated a number of constitutionally protected rights and got the village of Ravena and Deluca slaped with a $1,000,000 claim and now they’re facing a lawsuit. Nice going, Cathy.

Cathy Deluca and Accomplice Claude A. Wheeles, a Fitness Center Employee, Lie to Police…Get Criminal Complaint Filed Against them and Another Notice of Claim and Pending Lawsuite against the Village of Ravena!

But that wasn’t enought for Cathy Deluca, greedy tub that she is. Cathy Deluca then made a complaint with the Coeymans Police that the resident “harassed” her—a bare-faced lie—and then told the investigating officer, Jason Albert, that the resident had insulted a patron at the RHFC and that was the reason the resident was thrown out—another bare-faced lie. Based on Cathy Deluca’s lies and the support of one of her employees, Claude A. Wheeles, the Coeymans Police investigated and found nothing. How do we know all of what Deluca and Wheeles told the Coeymans Police was a pack of lies? The whole thing was recorded! Absolutely brilliant! Absolutely delicious! And we have copies of the recordings (both the events during the resident’s visit and Deluca’s performance and Officer Jason Alberts interview of the resident at the Coeymans Police station, where Officer Albert confirms Deluca’s lies.) What a surprise when the resident filed criminal charges against Deluca and Wheels for falsely reporting an incident and conspiracy to commit that crime, both misdemeanors. What a surprise when the village of Ravena’s attorney deposed the resident only to find out that (1) Deluca had lied, (2) that there was a recording of the actual incident, (2) that criminal complaint was filed against Deluca and Wheeles for their lies, (3) that a second Notice of Claim and lawsuit were pending against the village of Ravena, Cathy Deluca, and Claude Wheeles (including also the members of the village of Ravena board) based on Deluca’s and Wheeles’ criminal acts.

Citizen to Mayor John Bruno: Shut up! Or get out!

Ravena mayor John Bruno and hatchet-woman Nancy Warner sat in on the deposition/hearing at which the resident was questioned by the village’s attorney. Mayor Bruno was making wierd noises and being a general jerk and the resident allegedly told him to stop his stupidity or get out. After that, Bruno behaved himself.

Is Mayor Bruno Senile or Just Goofy? The Goofy Godfather

Is Mayor Bruno Senile or Just Goofy?
The Goofy Godfather

This just in: We have a copy of the actual transcript of the 50h hearing. Here’s what the complainant told mayor Bruno:

Complainant (to Bruno): Do you find this funny, Mr Mayor? If you do, please leave. I don’t want you snickering over there. You’ve been doing it several times already. This is not funny.

Attorney: I lost my train of thought.

Complainant (to attorney): I would like to object to Mr Bruno’s snickering and strange little noises that he’s emitting over there.

Attorney: That’s noted on the record.

Complainant: Thank you.

That’s how Ravena’s mayor John Bruno behaves in a legal proceeding, like a two-year old. Is he that senile already?

Ravena Village Clerk Annette Demitraszek Attempts to Avoid Producing Documents in Response to Demands under the New York State Freedom of Information Law and Gets Hit with a Notice of Claim and Possible Lawsuit.

You may have  believed that the village clerk is elected like the town clerk is. But she’s not. She’s appointed by mummy mayor John Bruno. She’s another tool of the un-American, criminal  regime on Mountain Road that calls itself the village of Ravena government. For several months Annette Demitraszek has been receiving demands for documents from residents trying to make sense of the craziness that goes on in the village offices and Demitraszek, apparently under mayor Bruno’s boney thumb and with Nancy Warner breathing down her back, plays the game and does her best to hide what she can and refuse to produce what she can. Well that worked fine for many years UNTIL NOW.

Demitraszek and her keepers had managed for a while to get the executive director of the Committee on Open Government, Robert Freeman, another democrat machine hack in Albany, to listen to their misinformation and then to use Freeman’s words to refuse to respond to F.O.I.L. demands. But when residents demand clarification or an explanation of the silly excuses…DEAD SILENCE. Now Demitraszek, mayor Bruno, the Ravena village board, have been served with a Notice of Claim charging them with obstruction and violation of the provisions of the New York State Freedom of Information Laws. That’s going to be another lawsuit.

The village of Ravena has plenty to hide but those days are gone; now the village of Ravena has to explain their criminality and their un-American activities.

(This is a must-read for Coeymans police chief Gregory “DoDo-Cop” Darlington, Gerald “Dirty Hands Jerry” BoBo-Cop-Deluca, and Officers Jason “what investigation” Albert, Ryan “Psychocop” Johnson, Kerry “it’s hearsay” Thompson)

Part Four: Suing the Town of Coeymans Coeymans Police Department for Obstruction of Justice and Misuse of Public Office. How Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington is going to lose his job and his crooked cops may find themselves doing jail time. So you want to make misdemeanors and felonies disappear, Mr Tom Dolan (Ask Tommy about his son’s escapades and where the charges went) and Dawn Rogers (Ask Dawn about her daughter’s friend the bottle and where the alleged DUI charges went). You might want to ask about how evidence is safeguarded in the Coeymans Police Department or their recipe for hitting parents through their kids. Or you might want to ask how to frame a resident or how to screw up a drug raid for a thimble full of marijuana while the real druggies are in the Ravena offices or the Coeymans PD evidence room (just speculating on this one). Of course, the Coeymans Police would rather hassle a bunch of kids congregating on a public gazebo than go after real criminals like Scott Lenden and his helpers (theft, possession of stolen goods, criminal tresspass). But then Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca was investigator on that case and didn’t move his fat arse on it for six months until the victims called in the Albany County Sheriff’s team. Or how about arresting a kid for possessing his own prescription drugs and having him jailed for 45 days…on the information provided by a known, convicted druggie? An what about the recent botched up drug raids? Any comment, chief Darlington or admin assistant Kerry Thompson? And what happend to the investigations of Cathy Deluca and Claude Wheeles on falsely reporting an incident—one that never happened but Deluca and Wheeles collaborated and lied about it—maybe Officer Jason Albert, chief Gregory Darlington, or maybe Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca can provide some answers. How does evidence leak out, Mr Deluca, Mr Darlington, Officer Albert?

Part Five: Going after the Ravena Coeymans Selkirk Central School District Board of Education, a Turncoat Superintendent of Schools, and the Teachers Union Lackeys Voted to the RCS Board of Education. How’d that all happen? We’ve got some information and facts that are going to knock your socks off and have some people soiling their undies. The real facts behind what cooking on the BoE and what a suicidal, ignorant school district has done to itself by handing over $40 million to crooks!

Anyone who questions what we write can just ask his or her questions at a public village or town meeting. Mayor John Bruno and the Ravena village trustees Nancy Warner, Bill Bailey, Marty Case, Rocco Persico,or Supervisor Stephen Flach and the town board members Tom Dolan, Dawn Rogers, Peter Masti,  Tom Boehm, or Coeymans Police Department chief Gregory Darlington will be more than pleased to put up a smoke screen and tell you the lies you’d like to hear. Try it. Let us know how you make out.

Got Creek? The Case of the Missing Stream…

It Seems that the Coeymans Code Enforcement Officer and Building Inspector, Laverne “Larry” Conrad, and his Croney Michael Biscone, Ravena Attorney, Might Have Some Explaining to Do to the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation and to the Federal Environmental Protection Agency. Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca may also have some explaining to do, too.

Once there Was A Creek…
Enter Laverne “Larry” Conrad and Michael Biscone…
Where’d It Go?

Vanishing Creeks...Now You See It, Then You Don't. Where'd it go, Larry, Mikey?

Vanishing Creeks…Now You See It, Then You Don’t.
Where’d it go, Larry, Mikey?

Well, we’ve recently received a stack of documents on the housing development on Camille Drive in Ravena/Coeymans. It’s an area that has been “developed” by former junk collector, now town of Coeymans Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer, Larry “Laverne” Conrad and Michael Biscone, a shyster Ravena attorney, and a couple of others. Well, the maps and applications indicate that there was once a stream running through the property, a stream that appears to have been part of protected waterways, but as we put together the pieces and look at the documents, it simply disappeared. But it’s still shown on the official maps, which indicates that the offical agencies responsible for mapping waterways are not aware that the stream has disappeared. Is that right Mr Conrad? Mr Biscone? Mr Deluca?

Normally any developer has to get the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to give the OK to mess with natural waterways, especially ones that are associated with protected wetlands but this one seems to have slipped under the radar and Conrad and Biscone apparently never applied for the necessary permits. Repeat: NO PERMITS!

And all the while Laverne “Larry” Conrad and Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca are playing footsies with the DEC and harassing local businesses and calling in the Department of Environmental Conservation to assist in the harassment while they’re doing what they please! The flagrant hypocrisy is sickening!

Not only did the stream disappear, it look like a cluster of appartment buildings have been built on top of it! What’s even worse is that a junk collection company, Junk King, operates out of  15 Camille Drive. Learn more about Junk King at this link: Junk King Capital District or Times Union Junk King.

Ravena and Coeymans have an ongoing spat with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation [DEC] and Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca publishes in his résumé online that he has connections with the DEC but in view of the many citations the DEC has issued against Ravena and Coeymens Deluca doesn’t seem to have much pull there. The only pull Deluca has is misuse of his position at the Coeymans Police Department and his cooperation in the scandalous misuse of public office by town of Coeymans officials and village of Ravena officials, aided by evil shyster Michael Biscone.

The information we have received is extensive and apparently comes right from the town of Coeymans own records. Our next steps, however, will be to make some noise with the Department of Environmental Conservation, get some names, get some documents, ask some questions. Then we’d like to see some fines imposed, just like what happens to local businesses when they get on the wrong side of Laverne “Larry” Conrad or Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca. We’d like to hear from businesses who may have had run-ins with Conrad or Deluca and find out the outcomes…what it cost you to stay in business…Get our gist?

We’d love to hear from Laverne “Larry” Conrad with an explanation. We’d love to see the permits. Maybe Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca can chime in with some bullshit explanation or promise how all this came about? After all, Dirty-Hands Jerry has all the right connections…OOPS! Sorry, MidHudson!
