Bruno Doesn’t Realize He’s Not Mayor Anymore: Asking for donations for centennial!

You have to admit, ex-mayor of Ravena, John T. Bruno, may have old-man balls but he does have a big pair. In fact, he’s got the balls to have sent out a letter to Ravena residents begging for money to fund the Bruno-Warren-Deluca centennial events, events conjured up by his crooked administration and the crooks he surrounded himself with.

BRUNO'S GOT A PAIR

BRUNO’S GOT A PAIR

Ex-mayor of the village of Ravena, John T. Bruno, recently sent out an undated letter to Ravena residents in which he acts as though he were still mayor of Ravena. Poor senile bastard is having a hard time letting go of his office keys and doesn’t know that technically he’s not mayor any more and has to start cooling his rejected jets. What’s even more pitiful is that Bruno doesn’t seem to realize that the jig is up! The world knows about his corruption and his crooked administration, and about his lackeys Nancy Warner and Cathy Deluca, both of whom are going to be back on the street, but who also can’t seem to grasp that their days in village hall are numbered. They still think that they have Bruno’s threats and strongarm tactics to keep them in their playpens at taxpayer expense.

While Nancy Warner is a trustee and should be doing her job for which she was elected, she’s got her hooked nose in everything else. But that’s Nancy Warner, never could mind her own business. But now that her pimp is out of office, she’s going to be very lonely—she’s already kissing and cudling up to mayor-elect Bill Misuraca, hoping to cast off the Bruno stench and make new allies. If mayor-elect Misuraca falls for it he’s going to be a disappointment. Clean house completely Misuraca. Take no prisoners. Leave one standing and you’ll find the knife in your back. Look what happened in New Baltimore with the leftovers from the O’Rorke gang!

And what’s Cathy Deluca doing chairing a centennial committee when her playpen, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center can’t get enough members to break even? Why isn’t she concentrating every minute of every day ensuring that Ravena taxpayer’s hard-earned dollars are paying off? Of course not, Deluca’s a greedy bitch who gets her rocks off grabbing everything in sight, contaminating it with Deluca stench, and then leaving it to die a slow death, while she does the cellulite jiggle all the way to the bank! Now after she’s done her damage with the support of ex-mayor John Bruno and his bitch, Nancy Warner, Deluca wants to manage the centennial celebrations down to hell and beyond, putting her stamp on it. Our question is this: What’s in it for Cathy Deluca. There has to be something to steal or grab somewhere!

So we really had to rush to the bathroom when we read this part of the Bruno begging letter (read or download the entire letter New letter from Bruno WTF[2]):

As you can imagine planning and coordinating all of these activities require a lot of effort on the part of a number of volunteers. In addition to the effort needed to provide these activities it also requires that some additional money is spent to bring this celebration to our community. The village Board has made provision in its budget to meet some of these costs, but we cannot let all of the cost fall to the taxpayers. Some of the events, such as the Gala will allow us to charge a ticket fee to attend. However others such as the Parade and are true community events and no fee can or will be charged. With this in mind we are seeking sponsors to assist us in meeting the costs of this once in a lifetime celebration.

Bruno continues to think that village of Ravena taxpayers and residents are as stupid as they were two years ago, before this blog started exposing the crooks and their vile corruption. The proposed budget for 2014-15 includes $11,000 for “Celebrations” (page 9, item 7550.44). In the Adjusted Budget for 2013-14, $6,000 was allocated for “celebrations,” and while we can’t remember any “celebrations” we do remember some events associated with the illegal Ravena Health and Fitness Center that were probably paid for with that “celebrations” money. So add about $6,000 to the $105,000 already allocated to Cathy Deluca’s playpen, because we didn’t see any celebrations last year in Ravena.

And then Bruno goes on to talk about how the village needs “Sponsors” to cover the cost of the centennial celebrations. You really want to laugh out loud when you read this crap because if Bruno hadn’t done his best to drive residents and business out of Ravena, he wouldn’t have to beg for sponsors. They’d be there on Main Street! Ask Mr Nunziato (Halfway House) about that!

But this paragraph really makes you sick to your stomach:

For additional information on the events or if you are interested in working with the committee on any of the other events please contact, Committee Chair Cathy Deluca at the Ravena Health and Fitness Center at Village Hall , 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY 12143,518,756.5544 or ravhf@mhcable.com

Can you believe this, Spock?

Can you believe this, Spock?

What a slap in the face of Ravena residents and taxpayers! He’s shoving Cathy Deluca and the Ravena Health and Fitness Center down residents’ throats as “Committee Chair” of the centennial events! Let’s make this suggestion to Mr Bruno: Cathy Deluca has milked the village of Ravena for $30,000 a year plus benefits. The word on the street is that Bruno handed Cathy Deluca a playpen called the Ravena Health and Fitness Center as a reward for some favors done by her or her husband, Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca, a former employee of the Coeymans police department. We can’t even start to imagine the corruption that was going on to get Cathy Deluca another health club to run and fail. Then Bruno and his monkeys on the Ravena village board spent more than $40,000 in taxpayer dollars on used fitness equipment bought from a friend of Village Hall, and allocated more than $105,000 in the 2013-14 village budget to run Cathy Deluca’s playpen, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center. The 2014-15 proposed budget allocates another more than $105,000 to run the Fitness Center and even gives Cathy Deluca a $900 pay raise. We don’t understand this waste of taxpayer money for several reasons: (1) the Fitness Center is losing money, (2) the Fitness Center isn’t getting members to offset the cost of running it, (3) the 2014-15 proposed budget actually shows that the Fitness Center is expected to operate more than $50,000 in the red in 2014-15, (4) the Village Proposed Budget for 2014-15 shows that the Village doesn’t expect the Fitness Center to break even in the budget period, (5) the Fitness Center doesn’t pay any rent to the Village for the space it occupies, nor is there any evidence it pays for utilities or for insurance. So here’s our suggestion to Mr ex-mayor John Bruno when he writes that he needs money for the community celebration of the 100 years of incorporation of the Village of Ravena:

    • Fire Cathy Deluca and you’ll save at least $30,000 more for the celebrations
    • Close the Ravena Health and Fitness Center and you’ll save at least another $50,000-$105,000
    • Sell the used fitness equipment you purchased from Bob Fisk for $40,000 and you’ll probably have to go in the hole to cover the costs of carting the junk equipment away
    • Get rid of the Ravena Village Court and you’ll save at least $85,000 (Hal Warner’s salary is $15,948 and the justice clerk makes more than $40,000; the part-time clerk makes more than $12,000. That’s more than $67,000 in savings right there!)
    • Return some of the money your administration has either stolen or squandered or paid to insiders (did we mention Michael Biscone or Gregory Teresi?) and we could probably renovate all of Main Street, Ravena, and have plenty to spare!

Now there’s a sensible plan for funding the community celebrations that Mr Bruno’s feeble-minded letter does not propose. Ravena voters have taken a major step in the direction of revitalizing the Village of Ravena without having to resort to begging: Voters got rid of John Bruno, Martin Case, and Rocco Persico. There’s still a lot of pest control to be done in Ravena Village Hall and voters can clean up Nancy Warner and Bill Bailey in the next elections, or they could avoid the embarassment and humiliation of losing the elections by simply resigning now. Mayor-elect Misuraca and the new Village board majority can take the bull by the horns and clean up the rest of the dead wood and garbage in Village Hall and eliminate the money pits like Cathy Deluca’s playpen and Nancy and Hal Warner’s playpen, the Ravena Village Court. That would be a really good start.

Maybe if Bruno and his Coeymanazi friends hadn’t persecuted, harassed, and intimidated the Greater Coeymans Ravena Area Community Business Group and the Ravena-Coeymans Youth and Teen Activity Center things might have turned out less noxious and maybe even a bit rosier. But …

New Baltimore Democrat Country Club: The Sequel.

Our Slogan Has Always Been: The Truth Comes Out No Matter What.

gutter politics

New Baltimore: Why so nasty, Dems?

A frequent criticism of the Republicans overall is that they come across as wimpy when compare to the in-your-face aggression of the Dems. That’s a gross mistaken impression because Republicans, at least real Republicans, aren’t wimpy at all, dear readers. Republicans are decent, have values, and respect one another and you, too! They’re not called the Right for nothing!

A frequent cry among most Republicans and Conservatives in recent years has been how the Dems run really nasty campaigns. Sure, the Dems are appealing to what the Democrat strategists perceive as the unwashed masses, they tend to reinforce the idea that if you’re poor, unemployed, not white, not college material then you’re a victimhelpless, and…stupid..  (and on closer examination, that very presumption makes the Dems even more corrupt and pandering). Perhaps the Dems perceive themselves as having to lower themselves and their campaign behaviors to the beastial level simply to ensure that they get all the marginalized votes. They presume voters to be victims, not dignified persons. Republicans, in contrast, have strong values and moral appeal, and in the long haul, represent that morality in the way they conduct themselves locally and nationally.

Now, let’s be clear: I’m talking about the “official” party approach to the campaigning, and I’m not including what privately run supporters might do on syndicated radio or other media, or in their paid political announcements. Most of those so-called supporters are supporting only one thing: their own agendas and don’t represent the reall Tradition.

In one of my recent articles I lambasted the New Baltimore country club that meets in the New Baltimore town hall. I noted in that article how the New Baltimore supervisor, Susan K. O’Rorke, and her minions, the majority of the New Baltimore town board are not what they appear to be and are all in bed together. (see my article, “New Baltimore: Coeymans’ Evil Twin…Part II” )

What I didn’t include in that article was the observation that in this central New York state region, the observations I made of the hypocrisy and nastiness of the Democrats in the area, including candidates, elected officials, and their supporters, generally fit the bill of hypocrisy and nastiness. You’d almost think it was a prerequisite to register Democrat.

(In fact, a recent visitor from outside of the area, noted how no one seems to smile…she was referring to a group of glaring local Dems!)

Now, I’m talking about how two major political parties present themselves, not how government works, and that’s an important distinction to be made. In all honesty and as a purely non-political observation, I’d like to make the following practical comparisons before I move on to a real-life example:

  • Republicans are the values party; they lead the country in a direction of religious values and faith based initiatives. They advance positions of morality and ethics; they oppose, for example, certain forms of abortion, desecration of the sacrament of marriage, family values.
  • Republicans, no matter how you feel about politics, support community and responsibility. Republicans recognize that our institutions are what make us what we are (for better or for worse, as well see further on in this article).
  • Democrats on the other hand are indifferent to our established institutions and try at every turn to make quick changes (Obama’s chant was “Change”).
  • Democrats are indifferent even hostile to reglion and faith, they advance “secular humanism”, they want to make everyone equal despite the fact that nature makes us different, they want to drive a wedge between religion and state (no Bible, no prayer, no God in public places, offices, events), they are the party of the individual as opposed to community.

Why is itThe Republican Slogan is Faith and Family ValuesAnd the Dem Slogan is: Change?

    Why is it
    The Republican Slogan is
    Faith and Family Values

And the Dem Slogan is: Change?
(What is it that the Dems want to change in Faith and Family? Atheism and abortion, perhaps?)

Again, I do want to emphasize that these are my personal observations and you are free to check the facts for yourselves. You might want to go to a Democrat club event and then visit a Republican club event; make a comparison of how you were welcomed, treated, who spoke to you, etc. What they talk about.

Now if you look around your community, with the rare exception, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a “real” Republican in any of the public offices or key positions. Most of the so-called Republicans are RINOs (Republicans in name only) and have gotten into office by misleading the voters and prostituting themselves to get Democrat support. More on this later.

Again, if you look around your community, you’ll be able to confirm what I’ve been writing for some time now: Our communities are made up of three basic groups:

  • Those in power,
  • Those who think they have no power (and they’re wrong), and
  • Those who observe the dynamics between the two.

Now those in power include their minions and those people who feel they need to identify with the alphas to ensure that they don’t end on their shite lists (see what I have to say about the Stockholm syndrome and victims in my article “Just a Friendly Reminder“). The tag-alongs get a false sense of security if they stay close to the gangleaders. Those who think they have no power and so remain powerless are by far the majority. It’s that majority who the third group, the observers and the prophets, call out to to mobilize.

Where's honesty, integrity...?

Where’s honesty, integrity…?

In this immediate area, the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk district, the town of Coeymans and the town New Baltimore we have a Democrat machine operating. It has a long history in Albany County, a shorter one in Greene County. If you don’t think there’s a Democrat machine running over you, just check out the party affiliations in the majority of public offices and if they’re not Democrat, take a closer look at how they vote or whom they support and you’re likely to find a Democrat in disguise, like a RINO. And what’s more, ask yourself something about how they behave. More than likely you’ll have to admit that even my amateurish comparisons hit pretty darned close to the mark. Don’t they?

So, dear readers, we come to the main point of this article, a real-life example of what I’m talking about:

A reader recently sent me a letter from a group in New Baltimore endorsing the local Democrats and several Republicans (the RINOs named in my last article) for public office. At first blush you’d probably say: “Gee, that’s really nice. It’s great to see people crossing political lines and actually endorsing people who can do the job, regardless of their party affiliations!” Well, you’d be too hasty with that conclusion. And you’d be dead wrong, too!

The letter is dated November 3, 2011, and is addressed to “Fellow Democrat.” New Baltimore residents Robert “Bob” Knighten, Judi Bensenfelder, and Ken Rebusmen signed the letter which starts off telling the voter, the Democrat voter, that it’s “an important and unusual year for our local government in the Town of New Baltimore”… but it never gets to tell us Why? it’s important much less unusual, because it describes business-as-usual!

But what it does tell us is that three RINOs are running as pseudo-Republicans, Chris Norris, Lisa Benway, and Denis Jordan, and the Democrat writers are urging New Baltimore voters to vote for them!

kbr_troika_monkeys

Writing about Chris Norris, Knighten, Bensenfelder, and Rebusmen get all warm and fuzzy, it’s a Democrat lovefest in honor of their very own pet RINOS, Norris, Benway, and Jordan. We get a taste for their aggression only a sentence on when they refer to the “Byas/Meredith/Finke troika.” A bit of background on this very simple but loaded phrase. A troika is a sled or wagon drawn by three horses but is a symbol of Russia, so the image is that Byas, Meredith and Finke are as unamerican as Soviet Russia, where during the Stalin era, a commission of three judges (a “troika“) would pass judgment. Mr Byas was not re-elected but Meredith and Finke were. But the point is, the Knighten-Bensenfelder-Rebusman troika was a pot  calling the kettle black (a Democrat speciality, it seems). As the election turned out, Meredith and Finke, both Republicans in “good standing” were re-elected. Too bad for the Knighten-Bensenfelder-Rebusman troika. But don’t we refer to the Dems as the left? Aren’t leftists communists and socialists by nature, definition and politics? Go figure!

pot-calling-the-kettle-black

Moving on, that same letter then describes Lisa Benway, a RINO, as “a voice of reason and support for Supervisor O’Rorke on many occasions.” Out of one side of their mouths these citizen representatives of the Democrat party trash three residents in good standing, all Republicans, but now they have one, a RINO, a democrat running as a republican, who admittedly is “a voice of…support for Supervisor O’Rorke on many occasions.” Thank you, Ms Lisa Benway!

Facts are...

Facts are…

The writers then describe both Chris Norris and Lisa Benway, Republicans, remember, as having “earned them the enmity of the old line conservative Republicans who control the Republican committee purse strings,” and that they were not supported by the town Republican committee. Wonder why?  Why spend money on people who are working for the other side, not that there should be an “other side”?  But who cares, really. Why trash the town Republicans?  And besides, it’s obvious that they don’t have the backing of their own local party. So take them, Dems, they’re yours already, aren’t they? What point is that, you ask? You’ve already got Norris and Benway in your pockets; doesn’t that prove your point…and ours?

The point that Norris and Benway are hypocrites and deceptive, that they are RINOs, that they are tools of the local Democrat machine. They’re loved by the Democrats but they still run under the Republican name. Sneaky, eh?

When we get to the hype and spin about keeping New Baltimore Highway Superintendent Denis Jordan in his job, we really have to try not to guffaw. The Knighten-Bensenfelder-Rebusman troika writes: “Under his leadership town highway department staff provide excellent, cost effective service…[he] has worked diligently with his staff and Supervisor O’Rorke and Deputy Supervisor Norris to control costs.” Drive along Hamlet roads and you’ll see how O’Rorke, Norris, and Jordan are practicing cost-effective management; if you fall into one of those potholes you’ll know. And how many times a year do you have to fill the same hole? How much is that costing? Cost-effective management? For whom?  They’re controlling costs all right…sending us all to bankruptcy!
potholeCost-Effective Highway Management

Don’t Fill the Potholes!

You can read the entire letter at Knighten-Bensenfelder-Rebusman troika.

So, dear readers, what was merely an amateurish observation by a non-political community observer was actually proved to be accurate, factual, and true by the New Baltimore Democrats themselves. Thank you Bob Knighten, Judi Bensenfelder, and Ken Rebusman. You and Joan Ross and Bob Ross with John Luckacovic make our job so much easier, indeed!

My recommendation to you, Knighten, Bensenfelder, Rebusman would be to thorougly review anything you write and send out in future. With a little practice you might even come up with a pursuasive communication that pulls the community together instead of driving wedges, something you appear to be very good at. I’d also recommend that you choose your examples with more care; turncoats, hypocrites and the like don’t do very much for your own credibility.

I only hope we're reading this right!

I only hope we’re reading this right!

Why would that be, you might well ask?!?

Another question we might well ask is: Why is it that small towns like Coeymans and New Baltimore have attained legendary status as hotbeds of injustice, conspiracy, corruption, inefficiency, and downright nastiness?

Well, back to our subject: The entire town of New Baltimore is about as big as Ravena, NY, in terms of population, and it’s just as corrupt. For example, the Town of New Baltimore has an area of a total 43.1 sq mi and a population (2010) of about 3,370 souls, well, most of them have souls. Compare this with Coeymans, New York, covering a total area of 53.1 sq mi and a population of 7,418 (2010). Both towns are losing population as more people move out looking for a better life.

The Town of New Baltimore consists of several small populated areas, mostly clusters of homes, including Deans Mill, Grapeville, Hannacroix, Medway, New Baltimore Hamlet (on the Hudson River),  Otter Hook, Paradise Hill, Roberts Hill. West Coxsackie is also located in the Town of New Baltimore.

Town in General. The region was part of the Mahican homeland, and was settled around 1700 and was included in early Dutch and English patents. New Baltimore was formed as a town in 1811 from the Town of Coxsackie. In the 200 years not much has been happening if we judge by population growth: in 1900, the town population was 1,536; in 2010 it was 3300 people.

Town Government or the New Baltimore Circus: Puts new meaning into the old dog-and-pony act. Main witch-on-a-stick is supervisor Susan K. O’Rorke (we won’t even mention what people are doing with the “K“) is the main clown. Once a Republican stronghold in its heyday, in the past several decades it has experienced decline, while the town has been run down by the Democrat inner circle over the past several decades, making its own rules and shoehorning its candidates into key positions. Much of this was due to the poor leadership in the Republican party and the party’s tendency to play fair against unscrupulous local democrats. The Republican party is starting to get smart, however, and is learning to fight fire with fire. But I’ve already said too much about politics on an apolitical blog. Where the former supervisor David Louis (wife of Town of New Baltimore Dem = DINO chairman, Diane Louis)  was a bit of a wet mop, the present supervisor is a haridan and not well-respected even by her own board. Not a good administrator, power-crazy, and generally a control freak, ensuring nothing positive gets done.

Like Coeymans, New Baltimore Justice is Badly Broken!

Like Coeymans, New Baltimore Justice is Badly Broken!

Town Justice or All the Justice You Can Buy or Let’s Make a Deal. New Baltimore disbanded its town constabulary years ago and, until recently, was served by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police, who did a fine job. With the inauguration of a very competent and ethical Greene County Sheriff, Sheriff Greg Seeley, the department collaborated with the Town of New Baltimore and some forward-thinking board members (now extinct) to install a satellite station at the New Baltimore town hall. Sheriff Seeley’s deputies have been doing a great job.

Unlike the situation in Coeymans, NY, with its corrupt police department and town court, the problem in New Baltimore is only (only?) the corrupt New Baltimore town court. It’s not so much corrupt, really, as just incompetent and ignorant. We’ve written quite a bit about town and village courts and, like the moronic village court of Ravena under Harold “Hal” Warner, and the idiotic Coeymans town court under in-justices Phillip Crandall and George Dardiani, the New Baltimore town court fits the bill with a poster-boy of ignorant town justices Joseph Farrell and his crony, Lee Davis, both tools of the Democrat machine in New Baltimore.

The Clowns are In Town!Actually in Town Hall.

The Clowns are In Town!
Actually in Town Hall.

Town Politics the International Unemployed Clowns Association Meets Regularly in the New Baltimore Town Hall. The clowns’  new name: the New Baltimore Town Board [of Clowns]. Again, lousy with Dems, the board is generally dysfunctional and lorded over by the witch-on-a-stick mentioned above, town super-biatch Susan O’Rourke. Over the years most residents, as in Coeymans, have become so disgusted with the games the town has been playing for years that the majority avoid the meetings, making them a convenient playground for the Democrat club and its members. That’s really too bad and people need to get involved and take back their town.

Church. Broken and Split.

Church. Broken and Split.

Town Churches. 1 and one-half and dying. The town claims to have two churches: one in the boonies and one of the new-fangled feel good congregations. The single church in the hamlet/national historic district lasted more than 175 years before a woman pastor was assigned who, contrary to every rule in the book, immediately started making changes and spending money. It wasn’t long before she drove out most of the generations-old congregation and depleted the handsome financial portfolio. Recently you had to drive by to see a “Save Your Church” sign out front. You had to snigger a bit because it wasn’t our church any more. So, like the town hall, the old church has suffered under the ravaging control of a woman pastor with a feminist agenda, whose wild spending makes Michelle Obama look like a black austerity measure.

That brings us to the subject of schools. New Baltimore can’t afford its own schools so it buses the students either to Coxsackie or to the scandal-ridden Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk schools. It’s scandalous what’s being done to taxpayers in New Baltimore. As if it weren’t enough being raped with some of the highest taxes in the state just to live in 18th century conditions, a large part of the town has to pay RCS central school district school tax to a district that has one of the highest per student costs in the state ($21,000 per student) and one of the lowest regional graduation rates (in the mid-70%), compared with almost any regional school.

[Editor’s note: While the RCS school district has in the past been made the whipping boy of the local rag media, this blog has done much to draw public attention to the culprits, largely the teachers union, New York State United Teachers or NYSUT, and a group of Coeymanazis in the Ravena-Coeymans area. The attention has largely silenced the evil-doers and has allowed the non-teacher faction on the RCS CSD school board to clean things up and get some real work done. Under the leadership of Dr Alan McCartney the district started to turn around but in recent weeks, McCarntney’s luster has begun to fade. Is he just tired or have the Coeymanazi forces gotten to him? A lethal combination of high costs and low graduation rates!

Town Services. The Town services run into the negative. Yes, the roads are paved, somewhat. But the New Baltimore Thruway Department is a bunch of woodchucks brandishing shovels and following a truck with some asphalt. All they seem to be able to do is throw a shovel or two in a pothole, watch it steam for a spell, while leaning on their shovels, and when the excitement over the steaming asphalt abates, they move on to fill another pothole and watch it, etc. This goes on until a corpse would get bored watching! Well, the problem is that they’re all on salaries paid by New Baltimore residents and they’re wasting time, money, equipment, and supplies–and don’t seem to give a damn. Once it rains and a couple of cars roll over the “patches” the pothole’s back and the ritual repeats, and repeats, and repeats…

bad-waterWe have a public sewer system but no drinking water. One of the previous administrations about five years ago spent a bundle on a project to bring municipal water to the Hamlet, where most of the wells were contaminated by the old septic tanks. Well, the battle that was waged by a handful of amoral lunatics who were, in fact, newcomers to the town, and who had nothing better to do, ran the town into its own cesspool of hate and fratricide in opposition to the water project. The Ross-Luckacovic coalition and its band of what Joan Ross affectionately called Newbaltimorons, nearly destroyed the community and the repercussions can still be felt in the hamlet. John Luckacovic, one of the hate mongers, moved to Columbia county with his partner, Eleanor Oldham. Bob “Robby” Ross and Joan Ross still reside in the hamlet where they still spew their venom. Idle hands do the devil’s work, it seems.

But that’s not the end of the water fantasies that seem to occupy the empty spaces between Democrat ears in New Baltimore. While Joan Ross and Bitter Bob and their loose-canon ally, John Luckacovic, managed to nearly destroy the community with their misinformation, lies, and backstabbing, the Democrats in the Town hall had wet-dreams about a huge recreational water park in the town, new NYS thruway construction, etc. etc. But hamlet residents would be allowed (thanks to the Rosses and Luckacovic team) to go dry. But, again, fantasies and idiot’s dreams are doomed to dry up…just like the New Baltimore Reformed Church’s patrimony, portfolio, and congregation, and just as the Town of New Baltimore is doing as we write. Drying up.

The anti-water campaign was a travesty of free speech but a banquet of misinformation and backstabbing. Unconfirmed reports say that John Lucakcovic is close to the Coeymans gang, most notably Gerald “Dirty Hands Jerry” Deluca and his Coeymanazis. If that’s true, Joan and Bob Ross wouldn’t be able to resist getting involved.  We may never know the truth because they don’t have the cojones to do their mischief in daylight and work by ambush and darkness: typical of the rodents they are.

Overall, the town is dying thanks to high taxes, no real businesses, and general apathy. This paves the road for vultures from downstate to take advantage of cheap property values and an indifference to local culture to come in and destroy almost 300 years of history. The people moving in and displacing the locals who can no longer afford the area are nasty, asocial, and controlling. What’s worse, they find it easy to cajole the local politicos and have their way.

Carpetbaggers are in town!

Carpetbaggers are in town!

Here’s an example: In the National Historic District, through some corrupt finagling, a downstater bought up several homesteads on the river, demolished the historic buildings, and erected what can be best described as a chicken coop on steroids, an absolute eyesore. But, somehow they got the permit to put it up and desecrate the historic district. Small town greed and big town money at work, it seems.

To the man (and woman) all of the damage that has been done to New Baltimore has been done by outsiders coming in, whether you consider town hall, the murderous water campaign in the hamlet (Ross and Luckacovic), the indifference to the local historical culture and architecture, etc. The ME First! people have come and walked all over the local people. What’s next, oil derricks in the hamlet, Ms O’Rourke? I wouldn’t put it past her, really.

We can, of course, thank the carrion-eaters in the area, like Tracey Burton, real estate monger, of the real estate office Victoria Real Estate, who is the ambulance chaser of local properties. Burton has the morals of Stalin and is about as loyal as Benedict Arnold. But she’s somehow gotten her foot in the New Baltimore door (one shudder’s to think how she did that…orally or anally or…). She’s one to be wary of (from personal experience) she’ll make it yours and you’ll have to make it shine while she collects her ill-gotten commission and leaves you to figure out what went wrong. (Sellers be very wary. She’ll get you dragged into court for her stories and then wish you, “Good luck!“).  She’s typical, though.

Town Businesses. 14 Nothing worth noting.  Most business tends to skip over New Baltimore to settle in business-friendly Coxsackie, the next town south of New Baltimore, and one that’s showing considerable promise.

Conclusion

brokenAs we develop our research and our collaborators canvas, sort and send in new information, we hope to provide residents, taxpayers, and investigating authorities with little-known facts about what is going on in New Baltimore.

We expect that the information and the facts as they are checked and verified will provide the same material for investigation as our first year of operation has done in the case of the village of Ravena and the town of Coeymans.

Because we have made such headway in garnering the trust and confidence of our friends and neighbors in Coeymans, and the word has gone out to surrounding communities, our work has been made significantly easier in the case of New Baltimore, because New Baltimore residents have been watching our successes in Coeymans.

New Baltimore Democrats: You need to consider the alternatives. You have a bunch of losers in the New Baltimore town hall and you need to get some winners in there. Winners like the people who made New Baltimore a thriving, welcoming, friendly community; not an exclusive club and the town hall their clubhouse! Even the churches are suffering in the present climate of hypocrisy!
