$46 Million Dollar School Budget Passed – One Backwoods School District

Voters a.k.a. “residents” approved a local RCS Central School District school budget of almost $46 million dollars. That’s more than the total budgets of several surrounding townships combined! Voters a.k.a. “residents” who passed the budget are largely non-property owners but the property owners foot the bill. What’s more, local government has caved to demands that local corporations get their tax breaks and reduced assessments. Again, local tax burden falls on the shoulders of local property owners. The local area is falling apart and so is the quality of education because we’re educating those who don’t have an appreciation for education and who likely don’t even use it later; they just don’t come from a background that encourages working or learning. So why do we keep spending and spending and spending? We don’t make the necessary adjustments, we just tax more and spend more. Why is that?

You’re still doing it! So we’re here to tell you how…

$45,829,423 budget for the 2017-18 school year!?! That’s more than local town budgets combined! And you wonder why your roads suck? You wonder why your drinking water is toxic and brown? You wonder why crime is rampant and the police do little or nothing to bring in the criminals? You wonder why you can’t make ends meet? But don’t you wonder why your kids act like brain dead morons? Why they can’t read? Why they can’t spell? Why they can’t hold a discussion?

Has anyone ever asked the students — the one’s with the lights on and someone home in their heads — what they think of their education, of their teachers? Times Union, News Herald, Daily News, W10, W13? Has any of the media given a thought to ask students about what they think of their education? Well, it would have to be cleverly done — and that rules out Times Union, News Herald, Johnson Newspaper Group, Daily News, W10 and W13, practically all Capital District media — and it would ideally include past graduates, who would be more likely to be truthful and say where RCS education got them. Current students would be fearful of teacher or student retaliation if they were to be interviewed and identified. That’s the way it has been and continues to be in the RCS Central School District, and is very likely the same situation throughout this third-world, backwoods hole in the earth. (Great place for woodchucks, though.)

We did an informal survey and found that several past graduates agreed that “one in fifteen teachers was any good and cared for students.” Others simply hated RCS and refused to participate even in 10 year class reunions. One RCS teacher with 23 years teaching said that he couldn’t wait to retire, “They have millions for astroturf but no money for books for my AP students! I’m history as soon as I can retire.” A history of pitiful graduation rates, low student and teacher morale, and spending seem to characterize local schools, especially spendthrift RCS.

Why don’t we ask the one’s who know?

If past history is anything to judge by, we have a pattern of fewer property owners (those who pay) and a growing number of social service recipients, senior citizens (those who can’t afford to leave), and transients (those who don’t pay), as well as a decline in taxable businesses, and an increase in pandering to local large corporations (who get “corporate welfare”) who want and get tax breaks but don’t create jobs and don’t contribute to tax revenues. So the misinformation provided by propaganda machines like the Times Union, News Herald, and other local media, flash such titles as “School budgets sail to approval”(Times Union, May 19, 2016) reporting also that “districts were mostly able to avoid huge tax hikes in their 2016-17 budgets thanks to a large increase in state aid.” Really? If that’s last year’s situation, why the increase this year?

The previous year, the Times Union article, “Voters Happy With Budgets” (May 19, 2015) reports that “Voter turnout was typically slim with many school board candidates running unopposed. Albany saw 72 percent of voters who showed up to vote offer support for the school budget. In 2015 Albany passed a $234 million budget that carried no tax increase. Schenectady passed a $177 million budget that will actually decrease the tax levy 0.21 percent. The report goes on to say that “on average, Capital Region schools are prepared to spend and tax more than other districts around the state. Spending is poised to rise 2.87 percent at schools across the region next year (compared to 2.1 percent statewide), while tax levies will increase an average of 0.95 percent (compared to 0.7 percent statewide). That was 2015.

The pattern continues in RCS. 2017-18 budget passed by voters Residents of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk took to the polls Tuesday, May 16, approving a $45.8 million budget for the 2017-18 school year, as well as the bus purchase proposition and community library vote. Voter turnout was typically slim (less than 1000 voters, down from previous years) with school board candidates running unopposed.

The local school district got approval to purchase school buses for the year ahead and create additional teaching positions. New technology purchases, like Chromebooks and iPads, were also high on the budgets, as well as a bigger investment in professional development for teachers. More technology, less learning, more cyberkids and sheeple. What a plan for Big Brother!

Local politicians, including the RCS School Board, are like maggots eating us alive.

Corporate Welfare. Lowered assessment for Selkirk Cogen to affect RCS homeowners (May 5, 2017). The RCS Central School District website reports: “One noticeable difference for taxpayers will be increased tax rates for the 2017-18 year, due to a lowered tax assessment for local business Selkirk Cogen. The district does not control home or business assessments, however, taxes collected from those [private] assessments act as revenue for the district.” This is purest propaganda. These businesses come to this area, destroy our historically beautiful landscapes, poison our air and our water, demand tax breaks at the expense of property owners and small business, drive out local residents and businesses, shift the tax burden to local property owners. They promise prosperity and jobs, which our local hillbilly elected officials gobble up like hungry hogs, and don’t deliver. In fact, the trend is to automate operations, leaving the really dirty jobs to low-paid black-collar workers. Now that’s a real vision for the future. Our economic geniuses hard at work for the corporations, while burying us!

According to a RCS school board member : “As a district, we have no control over assessments,” school board member James Latter said. “it’s unfortunate the reduced assessment has an effect on our resident taxpayers, we are thankful for businesses like Selkirk Cogen. It’s businesses like these that often pay large sums of school taxes, taking some of the burden off our residents.” Contradiction here, Mr Latter? Read that quote again! He’s double-talking. And that’s the kind of dumbass RCS voters put on the school board!

That kind of pass-the-buck double talk is characteristic of weasel Jim Latter, who is an employee of a Saudi-owned corporation in Feura Bush, so we know where his loyalties lie. He’s not going to be honest and tell it like it is: He’s going to spend, spend, spend and then blame the tax hikes on the local town administrations! Of course he’s thankful to Cogen and to his Saudi keepers, they sign his checks.  But it’s his talking out of both sides of his mouth that irks us most. You see, they preach austerity and fiscal responsibility but they don’t practice what they preach.

We’d like to know where the money came from for the sports field refreshment stand that is not used for 6-8 months of the year? The RCS Sports Association was to have paid for it but they couldn’t raise the money. Anybody hear where the rest of the money came from? Anyone care to guess? We all know. But the question is still: If we have so many youth sports associations and groups in the area, why does the school district have to have million dollar playing fields. Is the RCS community that rich? We know it’s falling apart and dirty. We know that our elected swine are handing our community to killer trucks, heavy truck traffic, dust devils, and our roads are tuning into mini-Grand Canyons. We know our students are coming out of RCS schools stupid. We know that there’s money for jocks but no money for books and brain programs. We know the teachers are getting paid very well, get incredible benefits and get paid professional enhancements. We know that 75-80% of the budget goes to salaries and benefits. What else do you know but won’t admit?

Heres a contribution from one of our readers that should get you thinking:

I was working out at the Glenmont Planet Fitness when a group of about 4-6 boys gathered around one of the equipment. One was on the phone and talking to “his brother”. When he had finished he asked the others whether they knew anyone who would “buy” for them. As the conversation went on it became clear that they needed alcohol for a group or a party that was going to happen in connection with the prom. They brainstormed for a little and made some calls, and then, apparently the problem was solved. Someone, one of the boys brothers, would make the purchase. These guys were obviously still in school at RCS and planning a party after the senior prom. They needed booze and found it. I wanted to give them a good talking to but the way they were acting, it would only have caused a scene and embarassed me. They were too ignorant to care, and their language didn’t make me think they had any brains.

I thought about one of the blogs recent articles about the accident on 144 when Logan Penzabene was creamed and his buddy seriously injured. I remember the quotes from local law enforcement, and then there’s Cuomo’s campaign. I lthought how right you were in that article. Then I saw this one and everything got clear. It’s all smoke and mirrors around here.

Not two weeks after a fatal accident and these knuckleheads are looking for alcohol. What? Isn’t the prom enough? I guess they’re so insecure they have to drink. So where are the parents? Do these kids still have parents? Do they know it? What’s up with all this law enforcement effort to curb these teen morons and their childish behavior? Where’s the school district and the teachers on this one? Where’s Cuomo’s campaign. They’re at Planet Fitness arranging for a booze delivery! I couldn’t believe my ears!

Well, there you have it, “Not two weeks after a fatal accident and these knuckleheads are looking for alcohol. ” Maybe the RCS school district can get a discount on the grief counseling they provide after the fact. Is that in the budget? Plenty of money to spend but none to spend wisely.

Less than 1 in 5 persons in Coeymans eligible to vote actually voted in the budget vote! And they weren’t property owners voting for a tax increase, we know that for sure!

Coeymans has a population of about 7500 persons with 13% over 65 years of age. In 2010 there were approximately 3000 housing units in Coeymans, of which 70% were owner occupied (the tax base). 91% of residents 25 years old or older are high-school graduates but only 1 in 5 has a bachelor’s degree (they graduated high school but either couldn’t get into a 4-year college or didn’t try)! Of those employed, they travel an average of 26 minutes to work (Obviously they don’t work locally. Where would they work?) Half of the population earns less than $55,500 a year, and there’s a 10% poverty rate. About one quarter of Coeymans residents is under 18 years of age; 13% are over 65 years old. OK. Let’s do some old-fashioned math: 25% of Coeymans are under 18 so they can’t vote. That leaves 75% of Coeymans residents who can vote, or 5,675 eligible voters. Let’s say, just for argument’s sake, that only 5000 are legally registered and can actually vote. The numbers for the budget vote show only about 900 total votes were cast on May 16, 2017. that means that less than 1 in 5 eligible voters actually voted (This is probably less, considering that parts of New Baltimore in Greene County could participate in the voting!). This is even more alarming because if we can believe the US census data, 70% of the some 3000 housing units in the town of Coeymans are owner occupied, meaning that they are property owners and foot the tax bill. That’s about 2,100 voters, at least, who should have showed up to vote on the budget! How many property owners do you know who would vote for a tax increase? So you can guess who the majority of the about 600 votes were, who voted for the budget and the tax increase, can’t you? Piss poor performance in our opinion! Are you proud of yourselves, Coeymanites.

“The impact of the reduced assessment will be reflected in September 2017 tax bills when residents will likely see an estimated tax rate increase between 4.5 and 6.5 percent (based on 2016 tax assessment figures), depending on town of residency.

The RCS Graduate:
Can’t draw, can’t spell, can’t count, can’t write,, can’t drive.
Can drink, can fornicate, can finger-fondle any electronic device.
Can get a social services check.

Local Corporations Get Tax Breaks; Property Owners Get a Tax Increase; Teachers Get Increases in Perks and Benefits; Students look forward to a lousy education; We all Get Shoddy Government by Incompetent Ego-maniacs; Our Roads Get Worse (Our idiot highway departments fill in potholes with sand today, pothole’s back tomorrow). The budget calls for an increase in total spending of 2.6 percent from the 2016-17 school year and a tax levy increase of 1.25 percent, which equals the district’s limit based on the state’s tax levy cap calculation. Translation: for a home valued at $150,000 with no STAR exemption this would lead to a projected tax increase of $195 for Bethlehem residents, $116 for Coeymans residents, $117 for New Scotland residents, and $153 for New Baltimore residents. Here’s what you get for your tax increaase:

  • Local Corporations Get Tax Breaks
  • Tax burden shifts to property owners and small businesses
  • Property Owners Get a Tax Increase
  • Teachers Get Increases in Perks and Benefits
  • Students look forward to a lousy education
  • We all Get Shoddy Government by Incompetent Ego-maniacs
  • Our Roads Get Worse (Our idiot highway departments fill in potholes with sand today, pothole’s back tomorrow)
  • You get less in the package for more in the manufacturer’s pocket (Do you ever read the labels of your coffee containers?)
  • Welfare recipients get their cell phones, transportation, manicures, healthcare for free (Are you going to work today? Second job? Third job?)

Voters turned out in very low numbers, again. Even more alarming is that — even with the low turnout– there seems to be a bizarre pattern in the voting this year (similar to past years) With with the budget receiving 538 in favor and 294, the bus proposition 537 yes and 289 no; The RCS Community Library budget showed the same pattern of 593 in favor and 297. (RCS Central School District webpage, 2017-18 budget passed by voters, last accessed on May 17, 2017). Even more bizarre is that several of the local news reports repeat each other’s stories almost word for word!

The only good news coming out of this year’s budget vote was that the RCS Community Library vote passed with 593 in favor and 297 opposed. Residents also re-elected two candidates to the library board of trustees. Bravo! RCS Community Library!

The only ones with half a brain appear to be the baby-boomers and they’re quickly disappearing from the area, leaving outright, or just dying. It appears anyone born after 1980 is a product of the materialist consumerism that haunts us today. Those born in and after the 1990’s are a total loss to their anxieties and greed. After 2000, they are either chemical or electronic addicts; orphans, really, and unable to articulate a sentence or even make change at the counter, even when the amount of change is displayed on a screen.

Your school tax dollars at work. Thank you.

Keep Union Lacky Matt-the-Mutt Miller Out of the County Legislature!

Matt-the-Mutt Miller Has His Beady Eyes on a County Legislature Seat

Don’t Let that Happen!!! Vote for MENDICK!!!

To send this article to a friend, a relative or to an e-mail contact, just copy this link and paste it into an email: http://wp.me/p2jPFe-2vx

Break the chain of corruption!

Matt-the-Mutt is part of the Albany Democrat reform movement; you know, the Give-it-all-Away party — but only if what they’re giving away is yours. Any time someone starts barking about reforming and changing things even before he’s close to being elected signals DANGER! And that’s exactly what Matt-the-Mutt Miller is doing. He thinks he’s in the legislator’s chair already and is bragging about what he’s going to change in the Albany county legislature. He’s a damned egomaniac and not much more. Only a halfwit would consider that corrupt megalomaniac for anything other than dogcatcher.

This blog has alerted the RCS school district, RCS taxpayers and RCS parents a number of times about Matthew J. Miller’s a.k.a. “Matt-the-Mutt’s” questionable morals and conduct. Matt Miller is a CROOK! We alerted RCS taxpayers about Miller’s deal with certain now extinct members of a former Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk board of education (under the Deluca mob) to be paid tens of thousands of tax dollars as “energy manager” for the school district. In other words, he told people to turn off the lights. This wouldn’t have been so bad if he weren’t DOUBLE-DIPPING! You see, he was also being paid FULL-TIME to teach, which he wasn’t doing either (see below). We guess that makes him a TRIPLE-DIPPING CROOK.

Matt-The-Mutt Miler 's a Loser!

Matt-the-Mutt Miller is a Loser!

If that’s not bad enough Matt-the-Mutt Miller allegedly told his RCS students that he’s an ATHEIST. Being an atheist is not big deal but telling impressionable and sensitive young people about your problem is a big deal. Parents: Do you want your teachers telling your kids about their personal beliefs? You’re trying to teach your kids to have values, morals, maybe even be good Christians, Jews, or Muslims, and their teacher is telling them he’s an atheist. So, Mr Miller, what do you do when it comes to the pledge of allegiance? Remember “One nation under God”? Do you refuse to pledge? Or do you make believe and pledge? Or the US dollar, “In God we trust.” Do you get paid double-dipper dollars or in rubles? You’re worse than a simple hypocrite, you’re a crooked hypocrite.

Iff you check out Miller’s LinkedIn page at Matt Miller you’ll have to wonder if his campaign head shot isn’t 25 years old at least. Compare Miller’s LinkedIn photo with the photo from 2014 and you’ll have to ask when he got his facelift? But Matt-the-Mutt’s face really isn’t the issue here. The issue is whether he’s fit for elected office and that is a no-brainer: He’s not. He arrogantly lists on his LInkedIn page that he’s been 14 years Local Union president, 3 years Union Treasurer/PAC chair (PAC is the RCS “political action committee”), 6 years District Energy Manager he means the RCS school district, during which time he was double- or even triple dipping for at an average rate of $8,000 a year, stealing tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars!). He seems to be real proud of his teachers union connection; he says more about that than he does about the RCS central school district. But that makes sense; he’s probably used the district as much as he can and now wants to move on. Like now we thinks he’s going to get a seat on the county legislature for the 39th district. Only if real fools vote, and only then.

Matt-the-Mutt<br>(2014)

Matt-the-Mutt (2014)

Matt Miller(2015)

Matt Miller (2015)

Matt-the-mutt wrongfully and improperly, Yes! cowardly, encouraged students to be uncivil and disrespectful when sending comments to a local blog, this blog, when he didn’t have the balls to comment himself. That’s what your tax dollars are paying for with Miller: an education in how to be uncivil, disrespectful and deviant. Just like Matt Miller.

For years Matt Miller has been the local NYSUT (New York State United Teachers) sockpuppet in the RCS school district. He’s the teachers union representative in the district. But here’s where he gets he dubious distinction of being a triple-dipper at taxpayer expense: He is paid a full-time teacher salary but has a reduced teaching load so he can do his union work! So, do you think his union work is in your interests or the kids’ interest? Guess again! He works for the union and you’re paying for it! Triple-dipping crook Miller.

So, now Matt-the-Mutt Miller wants you, the town of Bethlehem, to elect him to be an Albany County Legislator. That’s just what the already crooked, corrupt Albany political machine needs like a hole in the head: another corrupt crook! So, go ahead, put the atheist, double-triple-dipper, union lackey Matt Miller in a legislator’s chair in Albany. You don’t have to be a nuclear physicist to guess whose interests he’ll be serving there: the union’s and his own!

McCartney, DiAcetis, RCS Fail at Education

When so – called educators don’t educate and indiscriminately create and enforce knee – jerk policies, and superintendents stupidly announce “Rules are Rules”, that’s not education people, that’s fascism, totalitarianism, extremism. It’s not education it’s automation, creating sheeple out of sensitive and responsive minds. Is that the plan underlying today’s “education”? Is the plan to create either sheeple or criminals? Black or white: “Rules are Rules,” OBEY!

RCS high-school principal Tom DiAcetis, Superintendant Alan McCartney's Education

RCS high-school principal Tom DiAcetis, Superintendant Alan McCartney’s Education

McCartney’s “Rules are rules” mantra simply doesn’t work. Where’s the education in all of this? This sort of model is used to train dogs and monkeys, not adolescent human beings. The overriding policy is: Ban it, Don’t explain it.

failed

With the deterioration of American family systems, the marginalization of religion and churches, the national and local lies and propaganda, the criminal corruption and hypocrisy we have not only in our courts, legislatures and town halls but in many of the homes where many of these young adults live is bad enough. But when we put cowards and fools in executive and administrative positions in our schools, OUR SCHOOLS, and they are contradicting everything of value, ethical, moral and civil, that’s where we have to shout very loudly: WE’VE HAD ENOUGH! GET OUT!

BAN THIS BITCH!!!

BAN THIS BITCH!!!

This is one of those times where we have to say: The students are right!

Isn’t it the job of the teachers we pay outrageously high salaries to teach our young people not ways of watching but ways of seeing; not ways of hearing but ways of listening; not ways of simply being but ways of be – ing, experiencing. Using this most recent example of the failure of our teachers, principals, administrators, isn’t this yet another example of the failure of education in our RCS schools? This is exactly what we saw during the Bruno – Warner dictatorship in Ravena when they were openly violating rights protected by the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It’s the very thing we’ve been writing about in our essays about the corruption and obstruction of justice in the Coeymans police department. That same corruption and obstruction of justice, the violation of protected rights has found its way into our schools, people, because we have allowed it to happen by loading our board of education, our district offices, and our school administrative offices and classrooms with individuals who are self – serving and members of an exclusive club –  – exclusive because although they want our tax dollars to pad their pockets, they don’t want anything to do with us or hear from us.

We are a nation of laws. We are NOT a nation of justice.
As RCS Superintendent Alan McCartney says: Rules are Rules.

In our opinion, the RCS school system and its district offices are the homeland enemies, not a bunch of camel – jockeys six thousand or eight thousand miles away! It’s actually principals like Tom DiAcetis, union-lackeys, crook teachers like Matt Miller, superintendents like Allan McCartney who are confusing the hell out of the kids and making them schizoid. Is that the plan? On thtake back americae one hand, we have a president and a congress who just last week were handing out high military honors, the Medal of Honor, to men already dead or nearly so on national television. Then we have the president of the United States announcing (finally) his “strategy” (Strategy? Well, he seems to think it’s a strategy. Sounds more like a smoke screen.)  to weaken alleged terrorists in Syria and in God knows how many other areas. What’s Obama going to use in this battle against terrorism? Chitlins? The ideology taught by our RCS teachers and represented by the RCS board of education and their parasite superintendent, Alan McCartney? We have advertisements for military organizations and military recruitment and careers everywhere you look. We have the National Rifle Association organizing huge rallies. We have “Repeal the Safe Act” everywhere you look. We have a tradition of Rod and Gun Clubs, Sportsmen’s Clubs. One of our traditional activities is hunting. We have a Second Amendment, too. Then we have our educators—and I’m using that term very loosely, indeed—banning T – shirts because they might have a depiction of a firearm on them! WTF! These people in our schools call themselves “educators”?  They’re imbeciles receiving outrageous salaries and benefits. Worse still, most of them are cowards living off the sweat, blood and sacrifices of others!

In fact, aren’t most public meetings opened with a sort of prayer called the Pledge of Allegiance? Don’t we erect monuments at public expense commemorating veterans and past wars? Don’t we have a federal holiday called Veteran’s Day? Aren’t all of these somehow connected with the Armed Forces, or something like that? Where have our so-called “educators” been through all this (probably dodging the draft or living the good life while others are dying the patriotic death). We don’t need or want cowards teaching our kids or running our schools and towns!

They still are required to teach the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights in our public schools, aren’t they?

The feminist pastor of the New Baltimore Reformed Church decided a couple of years ago that the American flag did not have a place in front of the congregation, near the lecterns, and moved the flag to the back of the sanctuary. Some in the congregation raised hell; some even left that congregation because of that action. Several years ago, the pastor of the Roman Catholic Church of St Patrick in Ravena, offended parishioners when he refused to have the coffin of dead veterans draped with the American flag in the church (he was complying with ritual instructions, actually). Again, parishioners raised hell and many went elsewhere. And, dear readers, those are churches; remember separation of church and state. What those so – called pastors failed to recognize is that their congregation members and parishioners are Americans 6 days out of the week and Christians only one day, if that. They live the American way 6 days a week; they worship only one, and many not even that.

It used to be that our schools taught us how to be good citizens while exercising our rights. Our schools and teachers taught us values and morality. Some of those values was loyalty, respect, honesty, integrity, fairness, gratitude and—surprisingly—the notion of patriotism, a form of loyalty and respect, very close to family values, actually.

Our schools and educators are sending mixed messages, the wrong messages. Parents are not carrying their fair share of the load; our local, state and national governments have become so corrupt and dishonest that the only way to cover their tracks is with propaganda, misinformation and control. Our schools, obviously, are following that same evil example.

DiAcetis’s and McCarney’s Warrior Option: Pee on’em!

Editor’s Comment. It’s obvious to us that there’s a great deal of dishonesty and hypocrisy involved here on both sides: the Ravena – Coeymans – Selkirk Central School District (RCS CSD) and the National Guard. There’s also a very deep and dangerous gap in the RCS CSD’s understanding of proper notice, due process, protected rights, and a large number of other issues of neglect or indifference. On that latter note we really have to ask why we are paying DiAcetis and McCartney salaries of more than $100,000 plus benefits to run such a shoddy show.

helmet pee

DiAcetis: I pee on you! I win!

O-14-003691

We also have to ask whether the RCS CSD gives any consideration to the trauma and damage that they cause to adolescents by the principal’s, the school employees’ and the superintendent’s arbitrary and overly discretionary so – called discipline. What if the kid’s wearing the shirt to honor a fallen friend or relative? What if the student is wearing the shirt as an expression of solidarity with the armed forces? What if….? Aren’t these school officials supposed to be trained in some level of psychology? Or are they indifferent to the effects their own conduct is having on these young people?

We’d like to know where the RCS CSD dress code is published. We can’t find it anywhere. And was it at some point subject to public comment at, say, a RCS board of education public meeting? If the RCS CSD dress code is intended to control behavior, to limit free expression, to do anything that might even remotely affect a person’s rights, it should be subject to public comment and should be published. Does anyone know where it is, apart from in DiAcetis’ desk drawer?

What is the RCS CSD position and policy regarding the United States Armed Forces, exactly? We have to assume that the recruiter just didn’t stroll in and hand out shirts…or can we? The RCS CSD is aware that the National Guard and other branches of the US armed forces used weapons from time to time, even deadly force. Aren’t they? What’s the big surprise that a shirt should show a military personnel with a rifle? Does Mr Diacetis or Mr McCartney think that wars and battles are won, that terrorists are subdued by the US military by our men in uniform meandering up to the enemy and threatening to pee on him if he doesn’t give up? Interesting notion but we don’t think that tactic would work on the battlefield. Weapons carried by trained warriors have proved to be effective.

Actually, in these times of US military action in so many places all over the globe, we think it’s disgraceful, scandalous bordering on the treasonous, to show such disrespect for young people’s patriotism not to mention for the efforts of our men and women in uniform. Shame on you you pitiful examples of RCS CSD cowardice!

McCartney's Secret Weapon: Pee on'em!

McCartney’s Secret Weapon: Pee on’em!

We also find it disturbing that the National Guard would even consider pandering to these cowards’ by “sanitizing” their promotional shirts. Does the National Guard really think that if their shirts don’t feature a weapon that anyone is going to think that they are going to use the “pee threat” on terrorists, looters, etc.? It’s shameful that the National Guard is acquiescing to the scandal by superficially denying the use of deadly weapons in their activities. Does the National Guard believe that by caving to the cowards that the kids are so stupid to think that guns are not used in defense activities?

Isn’t denial and hypocrisy already out of all control in our community and in this country? Can’t we just be honest for a change and call a spade a spade?

What will the cowards want next? Do we have to remove all weapons from our military displays, monuments, recruitment advertising. Perhaps a big peeing penis would be more their taste in support of the “pee threat.”

Is it too much to ask parents to know who their children are? To know where they are? To know what they’re doing? Is it too much to ask parents to tear themselves away from their smart phones, their computers, the TV and give some attention to their kids so that they don’t resort to mass murder to be heard? Go figure!

We cannot treat an entire sector of our population, a well – informed, inquisitive, powerful, and activist group like our high – school students, like a bunch of budding criminals, a bunch of retards who as soon as they see a weapon on a T – shirt they become serial killers or mass murders. We have to give them the credit they deserve for having brains and a reasoning process going on in there. We have to stop sending the mixed messages because they will call us on that and we, as adults, lose credibility with them. That’s not a good thing.

Taxpayers, residents, parents of RCS students: You have to take some responsibility for this injustice being done to our young people! We have to get the cowards, the harlots, the adult bullies, the egoists, the crooks and the scoundrels out of our schools. We have to allow our young people to develop good values, ethics, morals and character; when they express good values, ethics, morals and character we must not demoralize, criminalize them. Stop allowing your schools to create sheeple out of thinking human beings or pay the price of Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Russia, Mao’s China, and Obama’s United States: Propaganda, Fascism, Totalitarianism, Rule by the Elite. It’s the another step in poisoning America.

New Baltimore: Taxed but not represented!

Pull It Out, New Baltimore!

Pull It Out, New Baltimore!

On May 20th, 2014, Voters will go to the polls to vote for three RCS CSD board of education members and to hopefully disapprove the bloated $42 million, at least 75% of which goes to pay outrageous salaries for incompetent services and teachers who ensure that the kids are duds and the RCS schools continue to be known far and wide as failing schools.

nysut pig

New Baltimore Needs to Vote Overwhelmingly for Rodney Kryzkowsky in Protest and NO! to the $42 million RCS CSD School Budget!!!

Here’s why:

  • A good portion of New Baltimore’s school taxes are going out of Greene County to pay for the RCS Central School District’s waste and favoritism.

  • New Baltimore has no representation on the RCS Central School District board of education (for that matter neither does the majority of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk residents).

  • The RCS CSD is owned and operated by a group of insiders, who are owned and operated by the New York State United Teachers union.

  • RCS Central School District schools are commonly known as “failing” schools and the composition of the administration, teaching staff, and the board of education makes certain that that reputation is going to last.

  • New Baltimore has to wake up and get smart: New Baltimore has to get out of the quagmire of the RCS CSD district and get into the Coxsackie system, in our own Greene County. Ravena-Coeymans is a failing, dying, corrupt and confused bunch of lunatics with no vision and a love affair with toxic waste, no environmental sensitivity, and voodoo economics. No change in corruption—only the faces change.

  • On May 20th cast your protest vote against the three teachers union stooges McFerretHotalingJones and FOR RODNEY KRZYKOWSKI, the only honest one on the RCS CSD board of education and the only one who has the courage to represent his convictions and refuse to join the gang of cowards.

  • Vote NO! on the RCS CSD $42 million budget that makes no sense and continues a practice of lies, misinformation, and spending.

  • Climb on the backs of the New Baltimore town board and force them to take steps to remove New Baltimore’s kids from the failing RCS CSD schools and get them into our own Greene County, Coxsackie system where they belong.

Pull it out, New Baltimore!

Pull it out, New Baltimore!

Criminals and Perps in Local Government…UPDATE!

If We Didn’t Make Our Inquiries and Get the Facts
You’d Probably Never Know!

wordcloud_corruption

But It Is Obvious that We have the Foxes Guarding the Chickens but Now the Foxes are Under Investigation.

animated update

The Ravena News Herald, once a community news publication, has turned into a drugged up feel-good rag that doesn’t have the balls to report on anything less than the absolutely positive. Why should it? It’s the “official newspaper” of the village of Ravena which means that John T. Bruno, Nancy Biscone-Warner, and Michael J. Biscone own them. Besides, the most of the News Herald is copied from the Greene County News and a lot of what we get to read isn’t even about this community, anyway. They’re really happy that they can fill up eight or so pages with “official notices”, though, because that’s where the money is.

So, dear readers, be grateful that at least some from the community have the guts to collect the real news and publish it in this form. It’s a community service, one of the very few you’re likey ever to get in the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk district.

So here’s what we have for you today:

The Village of Ravena, Mayor John T. Bruno, Nancy Biscone-Warner, Cathy Deluca and the Ravena Health and Fitness Center

Citzen v. Village of Ravena, Cathy Deluca, et al.

Citzen v. Village of Ravena, Cathy Deluca, et al.

The Ravena Health and Fitness Center has been the subject of several articles on this blog. The most recent one features Cathy Deluca asserting her “ownership” of the taxpayer paid municipal activity by telling a local resident he was not welcome at the public facility and telling him to leave. After having abused the resident and having violated his civil rights, Deluca attempted to file a criminal charge against the resident by the only way she knows: lies. So the village of Ravena never learns from its mistakes goes the extra mile and is footing the bill…OOPS! Now you’re footing the bill, Ravena taxpayers, to fund the Cathy Deluca’s defense! The Village of Ravena is now depending on its insurance carrier, Trident Insurance, to come to its rescue in the Cathy Deluca misconduct case. The village insurance company has hired Napierski, VanDenburgh, Napierski & O’Connor, an Albany law firm, who regularly defend municipalities in various claims involving allegations of civil rights violations, premises liability and labor law, to handle the case. Attorney Andrew S. Holland is the attorney handling the case.

The § 50h hearing will be scheduled soon and there’ll be some surprises popped on ol’ Cathy D. and her minions. There’ll be fireworks to be sure.

It’s still a mystery how the village of Ravena could spend $40,000 of taxpayer money to buy the used fitness equipment and to create the fitness center which, by the way pays no rent to the village–but you’ll recall the village was charging the RCS Community library a hefty rent and then raised it about $600 a month (you, Ravena taxpayers, paid). And then mayor Bruno and Nancy Biscone-Warner went ahead and put the fitness center in the village budget, allocating $115,500 to fund it.

It gets even stickier: We’ve found out that on April 5, 2013, mayor John T. Bruno applied to the Albany County Civil Service Department for the creation of a new job title, “Fitness Center Director“.  We all know that the position was created back in late 2012 for Cathy Deluca, and at the April 2, 2013, village of Ravena Organizational Meeting, Nancy Warner moved to “appoint” Cathy Deluca to the position of Fitness Center Director and the village board went ahead and appointed her. The situations starts to get more sinister when we examine mayor Bruno’s application, which was approved on about May 10, 2013. The application is rife with ambiguities, inaccuracies, deficiencies. It is possible (likely)  that the village of Ravena did not honestly produce all the documents requested and that some of the documents accompanying the application and substantiating the information were not provided to us. But that’s no big problem to find out. But if the village of Ravena did not provide the required documentation substantiating their statements and misrepresened either by commission or omission with the intent to mislead the Albany County Civil Service Department, then there is a big problem…for mayor Bruno and the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, and Cathy Deluca and Nancy Warner.

Our readers may be interested in the fact that the job title of Fitness Center Director is “exempt” and non-competitive, despite the fact that most positions of that kind require examination and competition. The interesting fact is that it appears from the documents we have received that the application did not include the required explanations and justifications for the program, for the position, and why it should be exempt. We’ll be curious how and why the Albany County Civil Service Department could approve such a deficient application. C orruption, conspiracy? What do you think?

If you’d like more information on the Civil Service  job title classifications, including those of the Albany County Civil Service Department click on this link: Civil Service Overview You decide whether the job title of Fitness Center Director should be “exempt” or “competitive”. You can then decide whether the job should have been open for applications instead of appointing the director, Cathy Deluca, with no one else being considered.

It may be a village project and it may be on public property but it’s obvious everyone is not welcome; Cathy Deluca makes the decision whether you’re welcome or not and when her decision blows up in her face, the village of Ravena (that is, Ravena taxpayers) pays her legal defense and attorney fees. How do they do it?

Cathy D. is Not the Only Deluca on the Hot Seat These Days. Hubby Gerald “Dirty Hands Jerry Deluca” is Feeling the Heat, Too!

Jerry Deluca and the Coeymans Police Department

Jerry Deluca and the Coeymans Police Department

Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca, Cathy Deluca’s chubby hubby, has a long history of suspicious activities ranging from his questionable claims of political contacts in Albany (such as the Department of Environmental Conservation, the New York State Assembly, an automotive recycling interest group, ARANY, and others), his retaliatory obstruction of police investigations, his questionable influence peddling in the Albany County District Attorney’s office—no doubt assisted by Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington’s wife, who is P. David Soares’ secretary and Ravena village justice Harold “Hal” Warner’s daugher, who is an attorney there (Nancy Biscone-Warner is the Ravena village trustee who fought hard for the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, spearheaded the center’s budget, and put Cathy Deluca in the director’s slot. Smell any corruption and conspiracy yet?

Deluca again acted up real badly with RCS CSD teacher and NYSUT union rep Matthew J. “Matt the Mutt” Miller, at the May 14, 2013, RCS CSD board of education meeting, where Deluca and Miller were involved in such disorderly conduct that RCS CSD superintendent Alan McCartney told them to leave the premises. They didn’t leave but waited outside to menace and harass a woman speaker, whom they had already abused while she was addressing the board!

Deluca was apparently off-duty when he and Miller engaged in their criminal conduct but that’s no excuse. They are both public employees and occupy highly visible positions paid by the public. They’re held to a higher standard than Joe Average. But they’ve been doing this sort of thing for so long they apparently think they can get away with it forever. Wrong again, Jerry!

What do you think bully-BoBo-cop Deluca would have done under the same circumstances if it were you or I making the ruckus and violating a resident’s rights? Old Rolly-Polly would pull out his badge, show his service revolver and cuff ya! Anybody think he wouldn’t? So that’s equal protection under the law?

OK. The complaint has been filed. Numerous law enforcement agencies and NY state agencies have been copied with the correspondence. But…Are we seeing things? The Coeymans Police Department is supposed to be investigating one of its own on criminal charges but Deluca’s still lurking around the department, still on duty, still…well wouldn’t it be more appropriate if while the investigation is on Deluca would be put on leave? Well, it looks like being chief Darlington’s darling has its benefits but it certainly puts Darlington in a sticky position. How’s the investigation going, chief Darlington? Or is that a state secret?

Matt Miller is Failing

Matt Miller is Failing

According to unconfirmed reports from a reliable source it looks like outside investigators are finally taking an interest in the goings on in Ravena-Coeymans and there is allegedly special interest in Guess who? You got it! Our very own Bo-Bo cop, Dirty-Hands Jerry. Seem’s a particular law enforcement agency has been watching and is asking some pretty irksome questions at the Coeymans Police Department. But you didn’t hear that from us.

Matthew J. Miller a.k.a. “Matt-the-Mutt” isn’t off the hook, either. He’s been put on the carpet several times already and his corruption and conspiracy file is getting pretty damned thick. His performance alongside Deluca on May 14th didn’t endear him to the RCS CSD district offices, either. Miller is a blow-hard big mouth who apparently thinks that because he’s NYSUT‘s (New York State United Teachers) union’s local rep that he’s untouchable. Maybe in terms of school administration he may be a hard nut to crack but he’s not going to get much sympathy when he’s standing before the great equalizer—a court of law, criminal law. Miller’s despicable public conduct and his disrespect of women will be his downfall. Say bye to teaching license. Bye to pension. Hello Big Bubba! You get “bottom bunk” Matty.

We have unconfirmed information from reliable sources that some departments at the New York State Education Department is watching Miller pretty closely. Seems they may be building a case against him. So watch his falling star…Is the end near?

Ravena-Coeymans' Own Three Stooges Jerry Deluca, Cathy Deluca, Matt Miller

Ravena-Coeymans’ Own Three Stooges
Jerry Deluca, Cathy Deluca, Matt Miller

Stick around for the next article. You’ll get a whirlwind tour of the Ravena village board at work and the story behind the Ravena Health and Fitness Center directly from the Ravena village board minutes. Learn how they hoodwinked the Albany County Civil Service people into creating a new job title, Fitness Center Director, for Cathy Deluca. But she has no qualifications…or does she? We’re still waiting for the village of Ravena to disclose just what qualifies her to be director. You’ll find it all here, as usual, direct from the sources to you!

We’ll also get the ball rolling on how Ravena-Coeymans is going to hell in a handbasket made in Taiwan. How? Think of it this way: Laverne “Larry” Conrad, Coeymans building inspector and code enforcement officer has his eye on mayor John T. Bruno’s office. Think he has a chance? Well, on the other side of the counterfeit coin there’s Martin “Marty” Case—you know the teacher who allegedly likes to chaperone and party at the same time and who sells real estate with Josie Bruno (and just about everyone else on the Ravena village board) at Prudential Real Estate. Case wants Coeymans supervisor Stephen Flach’s job. Think he has a chance?

We’d better start talking real fast because with mayor Bruno’s and Michael Biscone’s record on curtailing civil rights, and  and ignorance of what she is and where she is, Biscone’s liable to be writing another decree for Bruno suppressing free speech like he did in 2009 when he tried to put the kabosh on open government. (See our article on this blog.)

Then there’s Michael J. Biscone, on-again-off-again village of Ravena attorney doing on-again-off-again work for the town of Coeymans but Ravena can’t find any of the financial records that show how much Biscone was raking in while apparently working all sides of the fence. Ever wonder why Ravena can never find its financial records? Well, we thought the Office of the New York State Comptroller and the Office of the Attorney General might find some of this a bit interesting, especially in view of recent audits. Stay tuned for upcoming reports.

And then there’s Gregory Teresi who resigns one day and is hired back on as “village court criminal attorney.” We know he’s a criminal but village court is no place for him. He should be appearing  in front of daddy, Joe Teresi, New York State supreme court.

Taking Responsibility is A Community Duty

Parents Who Drop Off Their Teens
Must Expect That

They Are Also Dropping Off A Serious Responsibility

THANK YOU! MICHAEL FISHER !

THANK YOU! MICHAEL FISHER !

Michael Fisher of the RC Youth and Teen Activities Center
Did the Right Thing!
And You Parents Should Be Grateful!
Did the Coeymans Police Officer in Car #922 Do the Right Thing?

Readers should note that the first part of the header above is a statement. Mr Michael Fisher did the right thing when he alerted the Coeymans Police that an who allegedly had the unmistakeable odor of alcohol on his breath took custody of a teenager, who was at the Teen Center, and then attempted to drive the teenager to an undisclosed location—we’re assuming that the destination would be home but Who knows?— What we do know is that the readers—some eye-witnesses— who notified us of the incident agree that Michael Fisher did the right thing. We do, too!

You pass the baton of responsibilityYou Delegate Authority and Responsibility

You pass the baton of responsibility
You Delegate Authority and Responsibility

Any parent or guardian of a teenager who, on the one hand, delivers a teenager to the Teen Center and leaves that teenager there without also delegating the the management of the Teen Center the undisputed authority to ensure the teenagers physical, moral, and psychological welfare has, as it were, his or her head up his or her anus. When everything’s going well and there’s no incident everybody’s happy-happy but when push-comes-to-shove and the serious questions get asked—or you have to wake up and face the real world—you all get scared shiteless. Right?

The RC Teen Center Has Been Doing A Stellar Job of Parenting YOUR Kids…
It’s the Parents Who Dump Their Kids So They—the Parents—Can Party, Who Need the Whipping!

It’s not the Teen Center or Michael Fisher who’s on the carpet and needs a good ass-kicking. The RC Teen Center has been doing a stellar job of parenting YOUR kids. It’s the parents who dump their kids on the RC Teen Center so that they—the PARENTS—can act like irresponsible dumbasses and party, who need the whipping! So let’s get that point straight and clear.

In Fact, the RC Teen Center is the best thing to happen to this backwater half-dead town in decades! Until now “it’s for the kids” was only an excuse for the adults in the RCS district to go around acting like jackasses. All their fundraisers and their bottle-drives were aimed at Look-at-me-doing-nice-nice, while in the background they were backstabbing and stealing anything they could get their hands on, including Fitness Centers. All of the hocus-pocus and hidden agendas and racketeering going on with the local sports associations can’t make the adults look better than they are: they’re terrible role models and pretty sorry excuses for human beings, too.

Then along comes the messianic figure of someone like Michael Fisher who puts his personal savings, his time, and especially his heart where his mouth is, and shows this community what real giving and love is, and he risks showing how dark and evil all of the others really are. That’s a dangerous position to be in around here and we warned him about the two-facedness and hypocrisy that is resident in this town way back when he first started. It’s time NOW, people, parents to stand behind and watch his back, while he’s watching yours and your kids’ backs. You OWE it to him because Michael Fisher is either one of the greatest frauds to come to Ravena Coeymans or he’s one of the most genuine, authentic things available to your kids since school lunches in this ethics- and morality-starved nest of hypocrisy.

Can You Handle The Truth?

Can You Handle The Truth?

One thing is plain and clear, people: Your teenagers don’t need shiny trophies out of the hands of arrogant tax avoiders, possibly criminals, who make you think they’re making Olympians out of your kids (at the expense of their morals and minds!). Your teenagers don’t need adults basking in the limelight amongst bags of bottles saying, “It’s for the kid’s; they need field trips.” (And once on the field trip having the teacher chaperone takes off to party. Is the Martin Case incident still, yet being investigated?) Your kids don’t need your tax money going to support an illegal Health and Fitness Center set up to provide a job to a local mob leader. Your kids don’t need adults like Jerry Deluca, a police department employee,  and Matt Miller, a teacher and union representative, showing up at Board of Education meeting and acting like drunks, and being expelled for their disorderly conduct. Your kids don’t need role models like that!

Your kids need role models like Michael Fisher! Maybe YOU, parents, need role models like Michael Fisher, because from where we’re standing you need a role model to be the example of how YOU should act responsibly!!!

Your kids need role models like Michael Fisher! YOU need role models like Michael Fisher…

Some More Painful Truth...

Some More Painful Truth…

The RC Youth and Teen Activities Center has just turned 6-months old. It’s NOT the product of our illustrious mayor John T. Bruno jumping in with a check for $40,000 to support an important new institution in the community. No! The more than $40,000 went to purchase used fitness equipment from a croney. It wasn’t the village board of Ravena putting $115,500.00 in the 2013-14 village of Ravena budget to support youth programs! NO! That $115,000 went to the illegal Ravena Health and Fitness Center—every cent of it taxpayer money! And NO! it wasn’t an allocation of $30,000 for a youth programs director, either. NO! That $30,000 is in the budget to support the director of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, Cathy Deluca, the wife of Coeymans police investigator Jerry Deluca, the same Jerry Deluca who teamed up with Matthew Miller, one of your darling high-school teachers—the one who was double-dipping as energy manager, the one who was allegedly  instigating bullying at the high school, the one promoting the questionably legal raffle now going on in RCS— to put on a performance of disorderly conduct  at a board of education meeting, and then later to harass a local woman as she left the meeting. And the town of Coeymans? Nada, zilch, zero in youth programs! Unless you want to call the Coeymans Police Department and the holding cell there a “youth program.”  That’s where your local government puts your money.

Mr Fischer did the only responsibile and reasonable thing available to him under the circumstances…he called the local police for assistance.

And speaking of the Coeymans Police Department. Last Friday evening Michael Fischer was caught in the death grip of a moral and legal Catch 22: He couldn’t legally refuse to turn over a teenager to a parent or guardian who was, according to witnesses, obviously under the influence of at least alcohol. Nor could he in good conscience condone the irresponsibility of the adult and just allow him to drive off with the teenager in the car and forget about it. Mr Fisher did the only responsibile and reasonable thing available to him under the circumstances: he called local law enforcement for assistance. Not that that action did a whit of good!

And what happened then? Well, the dispatcher then proceeded to broadcast Michael Fischer’s name and the situation over the airways to every local yahoo with a police-band receiver. Isn’t that illegal? Isn’t the name of the caller supposed to be confidential? And yes, the Coeymans Police did respond. The Coeymans Police did stop the car driven by the individual allegedly under the influence of one or more substances. And the Coeymans Police did, in fact, almost immediately allow the driver to get back into the car and drive on.To Serve and to Protect.” Question: Who in hell are they serving and protecting!?!?!?!

Here’s what we have on the parent/guardian who picked up the teenager: He was only recently released from jail (we don’t know yet why he was in). He allegedly had no license to drive. He had allegedly obviously and perceptibly been drinking. Question: Why did the investigating Coeymans Police  officer (we don’t know who s/he was but we’ll know shortly) allow the suspect to go on his way, apparently no further questions asked? What’s the whole story?

So, ladies and gentlemen, what you need to do is offer Michael Fisher a big community THANK YOU, MIKE, FOR KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE! and drop off a personal check or a check from your organization or from your bank (ATTENTION: RCS Business Community—or what’s left of you)  to support the good work the RC Youth and Teen Activities Center is doing. And maybe, just maybe some of you parents can pick up a paintbrush or a hammer and lend a hand…in between romps and parties!

Your local government, the village of Ravena and the town of Coeymans, only seem to be able to divert funds to their friends or to arrest your kids; there’s no money or interest in treating them with dignity, or protecting them. They leave that task to people like Mike Fisher and the RC Youth and Teen Activities Center. But one thing is certain: THE KIDS WILL REMEMBER WHO CARED!

Michael Fisher doesn’t have to explain his actions. Chief Gregory Darlington has some questions that he needs to answer, and you should start asking them NOW! Here’s his e-mail, telephone number, and address. Get the answers!

The Coeymans Police Department has a terrible record
for responding to citizens’ inquiries and for ignoring complaints.

Darkness Has Descended On the RCS Central School District: Evil, Immorality, and Ethical Disaster!

The RCS CSD Has Made Its Bed for the Next Three Years The Future Is Dark, Dark Indeed

The 2013-14 RCS CSD school budget has passed.
That’s good.

James Latter of ethics and law violations fame has been confirmed by the vote. Jason Hyslop and Patrick Brown, too. Voters have thus voted in the teachers clique, the teachers union, the Coeymanazis. We owe their success to those who did not vote.

RCS Hands the Pearls Over to the Swine

RCS Hands the Pearls Over to the Swine

We Commend the RCS school district and the RCS community for its continuing efforts to self-destruct, to shoot itself in the foot, and to invite abuse, special interests and dirty tricks. You have now three years to weep.

As for the outgoing RCS CSD president, Mr John Vadney, and the only woman on the board*, Ms Judy Sylvester, you offered the community justice, fairness, honesty and integrity. Mr Laszlo Polyak, you offered them an alternative to the decades of suppression and a committed listening ear together with extensive experience. The RCS school district opted instead for a known scoundrel and two nobodies.

It is our sincere hope that you will continue your good work from the gallery and do what has to be done to ensure that the board, now firmly in the hands of villains and scoundrels, now working for the Teachers Union, is kept dancing barefoot on broken glass for the next three years. Make the speakers podium smoke and burn!

As for us, we’ll continue publishing facts and truth, while watching each and every move of each member of the RCS CSD board of education with the finest scrutiny, if only to ensure that every indiscretion and false move is duly reported.

As for the irregularities noted in the polling, they will be the subject of formal written complaints.

As for past delicts of teachers, coaches we encourage parents and residents to file your Notices of Claim and seek recourse and satisfaction. Now is not the time to be weak!

YOU DID NOT LOSE, YOU WERE SIMPLY NOT ELECTED BY THOSE WHO VOTED.

VADNEY, SYLVESTER, POLYAK: NOW IS THE TIME TO ORGANIZE ALL THOSE RESIDENTS AND FOLKS WHO RIGHTLY FEEL THEY’VE BEEN RAPED AGAIN BY THE FIENDS OF RCS. NOW YOU CAN ORGANIZE AS CITIZEN-RESIDENTS AND DRIVE THE MESSAGES HOME. YOU DID NOT LOSE, YOU WERE SIMPLY NOT ELECTED BY THOSE WHO VOTED. ALL THIS MEANS IS THAT YOU CONTINUE THE BATTLE ON BEHALF OF THE COMMUNITY FROM THE TRENCHES. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE SUBJECTED TO THE BACKSTABBING, THE HUMILIATION, AND THE HYPOCRISY AND HAVING TO HOLD YOUR TONGUES. NOW IS THE TIME TO CHANGE YOUR TACTICS AND STRATEGIES.

Thank you for your fine efforts Mr John Vadney, Ms Judy Sylvester, and Mr Laszlo Polyak. You are heros and champions  in the finest senses of the words! Now you’ll have the time for your families and to protect their interests. You’ve already spent too much time away from them casting pearls before swine!

* Editor’s Note: We are informed by a reader that Ms Sylvester was not the “only woman on the RCS CSD board of education,” that Alice Whalen is also a woman (according to the reader). If that is a fact, then we apologize (not for Alice Whalen claiming to be a woman) for our error. We will accept that reader’s observation to be true fact and will not require documentation or verification in this case.

shopnsave_logoShop’n Save’s action taken asking the candidates to stop passing out flyers and preventing their lawful activity is an outright violation of their civil rights, a violation of their freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States…

loser handActually, Shop’n Save’s action taken and preventing them from passing out campaign flyers and preventing their lawful activity is an outright violation of the campaigners’ civil rights, a violation of their freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. It may also be interpreted as a violation of their right of peaceful  assembly and obstruction of democratic process. This may very well become a nice fat lawsuit and even a civil rights issue! Shows you how indifference to citizen’s rights and the vile, nasty, uncivil behavior of a few Nazi cows can get the Shop’n Save people and their parent Hannaford  into a heap of trouble! It’s not so much the two cows and their stupidity but the stupidity of the Shop’n Save management that is going to cause the problem, because the people passing out the flyers were not in the store but outside in a public area. Bad news for Shop’n Save!

Shop'n Save

Our advice to Shop’n Save and Hannaford: You’d better be quick with a public apology or you can count on our promoting civil and criminal charges against you and your management.

Friends of RCS BoE candidate Patrick E. Brown is a lawyer but is silent about the civil rights violations being perpetrated by his backers!

What does Friends of RCS candidate lawyer Pat Brown have to say about their civil rights violations?

What does Friends of RCS candidate lawyer Pat Brown have to say about their civil rights violations?

And so we have Friends of RCS with their shyster lawyer candidate, Patrick E. Brown of Brown and Weinraub, an Albany law firm, violating their opponents’ civil rights! How does that grab you, Friends? What’s Brown got to say about this latest Coeymanazi embarrassment?

We’ve already reported on Friends of RCS suppressing free speech and expression by banning or censoring posts and comments on their Friends of RCS Facebook site, and the comments made that Freinds of RCS “will not tolerate negative comments about their candidates.”  And we’ve also heard about their lie that the “love the discussion and dialogue,” too. So we’d be really foolish given circumstances like these to expect any different from their candidates, James Latter, Jason Hyslop, and Patrick Brown!

Think of all the taxpayers, civic-minded shoppers, Americans you’ve probably pissed off!

Let’s Talk Performance and Service to the Community.
Let’s Look at the Hard Facts.

The Resident-Businesspersons Group on the Present RCS Board of Education Has Delivered under the Presidency of John M. Vadney and with the Collaboration of Judy Sylvester, Mike Robbins, Rodney Krzykowski, and Jeff Lukens:

A 2% Tax Levy and a 1.17% REDUCTION in Spending

John M. Vadney, in addition to having been selected as RCS Board of Education President several times, and during his 6 Years of Service to this Community on the RCS BoE,  has delivered on his promises on:

  • Weighted grades
  • Increasing graduation rates for the past 3 years in a row
  • Elementary class sizes stayed consistent and extra support staff provided when needed
  • REACH Young Scholars Programs retained
  • Automatic pool cover installed to reduce energy costs
  • Insulation has been installed in the elementary schools resulting in EnergyStar Awards to the District
  • Hot water provided for middle school showers
  • Used oil burner provided for the bus garage
  • Introduction of propane buses
  • Septic system repairs done at a savings of $100,000
  • Savings on Bus Garage roof repairs from $300,000 to $130,000
  • APPR Grant #394,000 for 3 years
  • Restored 5 p.m. bus run

JUDY SYLVESTER, during her first year on the RCS board of education, has spearheaded or collaborated on the following projects:

  • APPR Grant of $394,000 for 3 years
  • Restoration of the middle school homework club
  • Alternative Education Program at the RCS high school
  • Restoring of the GED program to the RCS district
  • Has advocated fiscal restraint (for example, pushing for the 2% tax levy, savings, and retention of programs.

LASZLO POLYAK. Everybody knows Laszlo! He attends every RCS BoE meeting and he’s got the guts to put all the cards on the table and get the answers. He’s a familiar face in town and we can’t think of anyone who’s more interested in hearing what you have to say. He’s come out on village issues, on town issues, but most  importantly on education issues, and is a champion against bullying our kids. He has a degree in business, teacher certification for business, has worked for the NYS Unified Court System for a judge, has been an NYSED official, knows everyone in the Education Department. One thing’s for certain, if you get Laszlo’s ear, you have the ear of the board!

It’s That Easy !

Want More?

We Got More Answers!

Q: What will be maintained in the 2013-14 school -year budget?

A: Contrary to what you may have heard, the 2013-14 school-year budget approved by the RCS BoE under the presidency of John M. Vadney and with the collaboration of the resident and business team on the RCS BoE, continues to support:

  • All existing core academic course, including ADVANCED PLACEMENT and UNIVERSITY in the HIGH SCHOOL offerings.
  • Class sizes within existing standards set by board policy.
  • REACH and Young Scholars elementary enrichment programs.
  • Middle school Accelerated Math and Science programs.
  • Career and Tech, New Visions and Tech Valley program opportunities.
  • Universal pre-K.
  • Student Field Trips at all levels.
  • Existing extracurricular and athletic offerings.
  • Pool & track maintenance and operations and aquatics programming.
  • And more!

Q: What has been added in the 2013-14 school-year budget?

A: In addition to the current programs and operations that are supported by the budget based on the 2% tax levy approved by the resident-business majority on the RCS board of education (which was incidentally opposed by Mr James Latter!), you will find:

  • A shared assistant principal at the Middle and High Schools.
  • Restoration of the pre-K mid-day bus run.
  • Financial aid to cover AP test fees for students-in-need.
  • Reinstatement of the summer reading program.
  • Resurfacing of the track and tennis courts.
  • Asbestos abatement in the high school.
  • School security upgrades.
  • 5-year lease purchases of technology and maintenance equipment.
  • The maximum funding allowed by the state for retirement, unemployment, employee benefit accrued liability, debt service, and tax certiorari services.
  • And more to come!

Now. Let’s Compare this to the “Accomplishments” of Mr James Latter and his Supporters, and Mr Jason Hyslop, and Mr Patrick E. Brown. (This is going to be too easy!)

James Latter: How long has he been taking up space on the RCS board of education? How many years? What has he actually done? Well, to be very honest, he’s lucky he hasn’t landed in jail! Rather than go through all of his scandals, which are about all he’s done during his time on the board, just review his statements on why he thinks he should be re-elected. All he doesn’t tell us is not what he’s done (What’s to tell?) and what his vision is in concrete terms, all he tells us is, well, vague campaign promises. But Latter has given us:

  • Bad press and overtaxation (Latter opposed the 2% tax levy and sided with his teachers clique on the BoE for at least a 3.58% increase!).
  • A reputation for dysfunction and disrespect, scandal. His record for violations of confidentiality, shady connections with local so-called non-profit organizations, his abuse of students and parents. It’s been in the News Herald. Latter has a special set of double standards, too.
  • Otherwise, Latter has been a speed bump on the RCS CSD board of education whenever it comes to anything good for taxpayers and the community. His record speaks for itself. And it ain’t something I’d want on my résumé.

Jason Hyslop. Before the campaign Hyslop was an unknown in the community. No real vision, just campaign promises. No program. No concrete statements. No experience at all. Marginal education (finished 1 year at a 2-year college). No professional training. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Too bad, kiddo! Maybe the Teen Center will let you be a volunteer. Do us all a favor and vote NO! on this guy.

Patrick E. Brown. Before the campaign Brown chose to be an unknown in the community. All this guy’s got going for him is a head of shoulder-length gray locks. So if you want hair, you vote for Brown. He may yet grow out of his hippy phase but not on RCS BoE time. He’s made a number of contradictory statements or outright lies. As a shyster lawyer specializing in unions, big business and, get this, advisor to the Cuomos (he doesn’t broadcast that in his campaign but he plays it up big on his law firm’s website). Yeah! Advisor to the Cuomos! The same Cuomos who have worked so hard to reduce spending on education, who have rushed through legislation to curtail citizen’s constitutional rights, who have driven business out the New York and left us to pick up the slack. Is that the kind of guy you want on your BoE making decisions for you and your kids? Hell NO! Vote NO! on Brown.

Patrick E. Brown’s wife, first announced his candidacy on Facebook, but didn’t even mention his name! Mary Partridge-Brown, the one who’s always leaning very cozy close to Matt Miller at our BoE meetings, the double-dipping terminated “energy manager” who was pocketing $18,000 a year of your dough while collecting his teacher salary of $80,000+ AND doing a reduced teaching load so he could do his union work on your dime. The same Matt Miller who was allegedly inciting kids to bully at the high school during last year’s brutal budget battles. The same Matt Miller who was evicted from the May 14 BoE meeting together with his buddy Jerry Deluca for his misconduct and outbursts.

What are his accomplishments? Well according to Patrick E. Brown, he admits he has no experience on a board of education. In fact, as far as we know, he’s never attended one of ours! He has no BoE-related experience or accomplishments. But he does have a wife who is close to Matt Miller, Jerry Deluca, and the teachers clique on the board. Heard enough? In other words, like Jason Hyslop, he offers NADA, ZILCH, ZERO to persuade us to consider him, much less to elect him.

Friends of RCS are not running a single woman candidate.
Doesn’t that tell you something about them?
All of their candidates are men!

Do ya think Friends of RCS are sexist?
No friends of women?

James Latter, Jason Hyslop, and Patrick Brown are all supported by the Friends of RCS, a group on Facebook that have some very disturbing practices and notions about free speech and discussion. All you have to do is read the most recent articles on this blog to get the complete information. We’ve already published it for you and we won’t repeat it here.

So, Readers, Friends, Neighbors. That’s it in a nutshell. If you want performance and experience you’ll vote for John M. Vadney (#1), Laszlo Polyak (#3) and Judy Sylvester (#5) who you know will deliver on their record of experience and performance.

If you want to buy a cat-in-a-sack, take a real gamble, ensure that you have no voice on the BoE, get no experience and no performance (by their own admissions) you’ll waste your votes on Jason Hyslop or Patrick Brown.

Just remember to hissssss! when you slither out of the polling place so that they know you’re one of them. Hissssss!

But we have great faith in YOU! We know you’ll do what’s best for this RCS district and for this community…

Just Posted: Read the News Herald, November 10, 2011, “Parent Charges Latter with Protocol Breach,” by Hilary Hawke. Click on this link: News Herald Latter Complaint Nov. 2011.

When People Misbehave in Public and are Disorderly, They Dampen the Pubic’s Enthusiasm to Exercise Free Speech and Expression Guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. In Other Words, the Disorderly Individuals Interfere with Your Constitutional Rights!

This has been an age-old tactic by terrorists and antisocial groups: send in a bunch of thugs to disrupt the meeting, scare people or make them nervous, and the people will be hesitant to speak out or to meet. The Bolsheviks did it. The Communist Chinese did it. The Stalinist Russians did it. The KuKlux Clan did it. The Nazis did it. It worked for them and our own thugs think it will work, too. It’s up to the rest of us to put the thugs in their place and to show them that thug tactics don’t work in this community. Get it Matt Miller, Jerry Deluca, Fiends of RCS, Sarah Engel (a teacher whose teacher husband is Howard “Bray” Engel of the RCS teachers clique on the BoE, and her mass-e-mail campaign as Fiends of RCS), and any others who think that they are better than the rest of us.

I’d like to start with some comments made on local groups’ Facebook pages this week. The comments were posted in response to a local figure’s post about misbehavior by adults at the May 14, 2013, RCS board of education meeting.

Apart from some absolutely stupid comments made on several of the RCS Facebook pages by a character who likes to dress up in a fireman’s outfit and who also likes to read the Coeymanazi manifesto and recite its parts on Facebook (Yes! I’m talking about YOU, Mr Craig Wickham!), some of the comments I’ve recently read about misconduct by attendees at board of education meetings tend to reflect a sofening of attitudes. Does this mean the community is becoming more civil? Let’s hope so but let’s look at those comments first.

John Rousseau: Why? Because a large number of the voting public…rely on what is being broadcast and published in emails, webpages, and blogs as “truthful”. Its sad that many rely on these opinions as fact, which is why I’ve been checking some these opinions…I don’t think I need to remind anyone of the hateful public rhetoric surrounding Jews prior to WWII.. both in Europe and in America. Brandeis [Louis Brandeis, US Supreme Court Justice] was at the forefront of many decisions regarding free speech, exercising it, and its limitations:
“If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence.”

Thank you Mr Rousseau, for that very supportive comment. While justice Brandeis did support some very questionable rulings, his position on free speech and expression is scriptural. That’s the principal we live by on this blog and, Mr Rousseau, once again, Thank you! for your express support and that very supportive statement.

Rob Thomas:  John, you are entitled to your opinion as we all are. I would never deny that of anyone. I am more concerned with the manner in which someone voices their opinion…and I need to say that good manners and civility are slowly eroding in our community. People would be surprised how one may listen to you and be acceptable of one’s point of view if only respect was present.

Very true, Mr Thomas. We are entitled to our opinions and, as Mr Rousseau points out, it is certainly worthwhile to check the facts to arrive at the truth. That, too, is what we do on this blog. The question we all need to ask ourselves is “Why?” as you state, “good manners and civility are slowly eroding in our community.” This may have a lot to do with how children and young adults perceive the models that community adults provide. I provide some examples below of some egregious [=disgraceful] behavor of some local adults, and ask readers to decide: How does that affect our young people? Even ask yourself, How does that sort of behavior affect YOU, an adult?

The very thread started by the comment on the impression Ms Suni Martinez Swann made at a recent BoE meeting, and the outrageous outbursts of Mr Matt Miller, teachers union representative and teacher at the RCS high-school, and Mr Gerald Deluca, an employee of the Coeymans police department, is an example of the answer to your question. Ms Swann is an outspoken contributor to several local groups, and her conduct may simply have been a momentary loss of control. Matt Miller’s and Gerald Deluca’s conduct is simply habitual but  unacceptable, even if we do agree on free expression, in or out of an official scenario. Miller and Deluca are public figures and must be held to a higher standard than the Suni Martinez Swans’s among us.

We also need to realize that when someone is sure of her or his position, s/he does not have to engage in rudeness, uncivility, outburst, etc. When a person is secure and sure about her or his opinion or position, s/he can sit quietly, respectfully,  and assuredly; when a person doesn’t believe in her or his position or does not feel it’s convincing or persuasive, then they resort to rude attack, loudness, outburst, aggression, even violence.  So what does that tell us about Miller’s and Deluca’s behavior and conduct?

John Rousseau. First… recall that this was a rule proposed by Mr Vadney and agreed upon by the BOE in order to keep their meetings brief, and not running into the wee hours. Everyone needs to remember that it is the BOE’s meeting, and the public is granted access **only** to observe. The privilege of public comment at the meeting is granted by the BOE…Good luck with that. (RCS Friends and More)

John Rousseau: Disagreeing with the opinion is one thing…trying to limit the expression of those opinons, and where and how it is voiced is not just wrong… its against civil law. (Save the Arts at RCS)

Thank you again, Mr Rousseau. Again, you are on target. As I mentioned above, people tend naturally to be intimidated when exposed to aggression or outbursts. It’s an abusive tactic used by persons and groups who don’t fully believe in the strength or persuasiveness of their positions. When truth, fact and logic fail them, they turn to aggression or violence. Mr Matt Miller and Mr Gerald Deluca are good examples of this observation right here in this community. Other examples are given below.

Rob Thomas: John, you are entitled to your opinion as we all are. I would never deny that of anyone. I am more concerned with the manner in which someone voices their opinion. I, too, am a senior and I need to say that good manners and civility are slowly eroding in our community. People would be surprised how one may listen to you and be acceptable of one’s point of view if only respect was present. (Save the Arts at RCS)

We’d like now to move on to an illustration of how we behave may be perceived differently than we intended. Several communications seem to support that fact: That when we act or react in public, the public may perceive the behavior differently. Ms Swann insists that she is a “lady” but the comments seem to reflect a different impression. [Editor’s Note: This is in no way whatsoever representing the opinion that Ms Martinez Swann is not a “lady,” however she may define that term, but that her behavior was perceived to be inappropriate and rude, uncivil.]

Suni Martinez Swann: Donna, ladies don’t yell. I am a lady. I was asking my RCS Board President when the three minutes were up….:) (RCS Friends and More)

A word of advice: It’s all in the eye of the beholder whether you’re a lady or not. Self-assessments don’t count here. Perhaps in future you should let the board do what it’s there to do, make the rule that ensure its orderly function. And stop looking for reasons to be negative. Moreover, perhaps you should reassess how you behave in public and the impression you make. You seem to feel you behaved like a “lady.” Apparently a number of people who observed your “ladylike” behavior had a different impression.

Suni Martinez Swann: …EVERYONE!…I agree rudeness is inappropriate. When I first looked at Mr. Vadney, I asked with a questionable look & with 3 fingers held if time was up. I did not expect Ms. Vadney to respond as she did, which prompted me to ask verbally “Is it 3 minutes?” …I respect the work ethic of both Mr. and Mrs. Dawn Vadney extremely well. This couple worked tirelessly alongside my husband and I with a volunteer effort that helped those in need after a natural disaster. And we appreciated it very much. I am not on a “side” nor for an “interest”. I am for my child(ren) and seeing that those who serve, on the board (whoever it may be), align with my philosophy of education, ethics, and morals. (RCS Friends and More)

Well, thank you Ms Martinez-Swann, for your comment, which is very supportive of our principles, and also of Mr Vadney and his dedication to this community. But we are concerned by some of the contradictions in your statements.

Whether or not you expected a reaction or not, don’t you think you were out-of-line or overstepping your role as a spectator. (Please see Mr Rousseau’s comment, above.) Mr Vadney was quite correct in advising you that “We have a timekeeper over here.“” The timekeeper was not Mr Vadney, by the way. You were, in fact, asked not to “interrupt.” Interrupting only delays the speaker’s finishing. It’s rude and unfair, too. In fact, Mr Vadney later twice advised the speaker that her time was up and she should finish. That sounds to me (1) like the board had the situation under control, and (2) you were out of line. If you disagree, we would welcome your comments.

Your statement that you want to ensure “that those who serve, on the board (whoever it may be), align with my philosophy of education, ethics, and morals,” is a contradiction of the statement you made immediately before, “I am not on a “side” nor for an “interest.” Furthermore, you make the impression that you are arrogant and close-minded when you want a group elected by the greater community to “align with your philosopy of education, ethics, and morals.” If that isn’t one-sided or representing a one-sided interest, I don’t know what is! Again, Ms Martinez-Swann, you live in a community and, like it or not, you need to be consciously aware of the impressions you make.

This Community Has To Decide Who’s Running Things

“The most important political office is that of the private citizen.”
(Louis Dembitz Brandeis, Associate Justice, U.S.S.C.)

Taking effective charge starts with self-awareness, with admission of the bad as well as the good, of recognizing when we are in denial and deceiving ourselves. It starts with our recognizing which version of the facts we are going to accept as true and how our own agendas and, as Suni Martinez-Swann writes, whether we are going to expect the entire community to align with our own “philosopy of education, ethics, and morals;” in other words, shortsightedness, one-sidedness, bullyism.

  1. When we give a gift, we have to let go of it and turn it over to the recipient, don’t we? Same is true when by our vote we turn over some of our authority and power to the successful candidate, whether we have voted for her or him or not. That’s democracy, people.
  2. The comments we’ve examined above mean that we need to do a couple of things here:
  3. Behave ourselves, act with respect, be civil.
  4. Listen more and talk less. God gave us two ears and one mouth for a very good reason.
  5. Be very aware of how we are perceived in public, and conduct ourselves to make the most positive impression, especially on young persons.
  6. Let go and let our elected officials do what we entrusted them to do!
  7. Don’t just talk, make sense. Just saying something is wrong is not enough, you must be able to defend your position and, in matters that affect the community, it’s not your good but the common good that guides the discussion. If you want a community, you must accept the rules of living in community.
  8. We, you and I, are responsible for this community and how it runs or doesn’t. We have to live here, do business here, raise our chldren here. Not the Albany Times Union!animation burning question

So the Burning Question Is: Who Has Gotten the Albany Times Union to Publish More Garbage on this Community. Who In This Community Is Feeding Them The Junk That the Albany Times Union is AGAIN Printing About Our Community.

We really want to know and you should really want to know who’s getting the Albany Times Union to again focus their vile attention on our community. Once you identify who’s feeding that useless rag, take her or him out and lynch’em! Tar and feathers is too good for them!

Can you imagine the gall, the arrogance, the utter scandal that the Albany Times Union should publish something like, “RCS You can do Better” (Times Union, May 17, 2013, click this link to read the Absolute Insult to the RCS community!) You may not think the community is broken or that the board of education is broken. You may not agree on all or even any of the issues. But YOU and only YOU, RCS residents, taxpayers, should openly and loudly punish any of the media who makes a statement like: “Three members of a travesty of a school board are up for re-election on Tuesday.” How dare anyone in this community feed the Times Useless. What’s even worse still—but not likely—is that the Times Useless would print something like that scandalous, insulting “opinion.” on its own.

We’ve Said It Before and We’ll Repeat It Again: BOYCOTT the Albany Times Useless!

Find Out Who’s Getting the Times Union to Print Shite Like That and SHUN That or Those Individuals!

One thing is certain: Whoever is getting the Albany Times Useless to print stuff like that is CERTAINLY NOT THE ONES BEING TORN APART IN THE ARTICLE. So how many choices does that leave you for deciding who’s feeding the snake a.k.a. Albany Times Union?

Anyone feeding the Albany Times Useless should be publicly stripped naked and tarred and feathered! Anyone feeding the Albany Times Useless by contributing negative comments should be publicly stripped naked and tarred and feathered, as a traitor to this community and for undermining the good faith efforts of this community to flourish. Anyone who stands silent while the Albany Times Useless prints this insulting, scandalous garbage is an accessory to the insult and should be SHUNNED by the community!

AND YOU SHOULD BE, TOO!

AND YOU SHOULD BE, TOO!

So Think About This and Decide for Yourself What You’re Going to Do…In 2012 when the teachers clique and the Deluca thugs, now known as Friends of RCS, couldn’t get the votes, and didn’t get them in 2012, even though they resorted to some pretty underhanded tactics to sway the public, and violated not just a couple policies and laws while they were at it, they then tried to recover the majority on the RCS Board of Education by even more devious means. Here are just a couple of examples, let’s see if you can remember them:

  • They tried to slander sitting board member Rodney Krzykowski into resigning. When that failed they started feeding the Albany Times Useless with scurrilous information, trying to defame Mr Krzykowsi and scandalizing the RCS district and the board of education. They failed.
  • When sitting board member Jeff Lukens’ son got into some trouble and Mr Lukens stood by his son, they dragged Mr Lukens through the dirt. What’s a father to do when his son gets into trouble? Take him out back and shoot him? They failed.
  • They then tried to frame sitting board president John Vadney. But a number of witnesses came forward and Mr Vadney called their bluff. They failed.
  • Then certain teachers (Matt Miller)  incited students in the high school and board president John Vadney’s son was ambushed by several young hoodlums when he was entering the school. It was all caught on tape. The administration under that useless union lackey Elizabeth Smith dragged their feet and tried to sweep the incident under the carpet. That was until Mrs Vadney showed them she meant business and filed a Notice of Claim telling them either do something or else. (By the way, no lawsuit was ever filed, contrary to what the Coeymanazis in Fiends of RCS might be circulating.) What would you have done if your kid was attacked and injured and no one seemed to give a shite? Blow it off, maybe? Again, they failed!
  • Then they came out in force when the board went forward to hire a professional superintendent, Dr Alan R. McCartney. They had everything to say about that and most of it was lies. McCartney was hired and has been doing a stellar job. Matt Miller, Jerry Deluca, Fiends of RCS, Coeymanazis failed yet again!

That’s Sure Proof that Friends of RCS have NO VALUES! They’re IMMORAL and UNETHICAL!

Then there’s the 2013-14 budget. Fiends of RCS, Matt Miller, Jerry Deluca all came out in force with doom and gloom predictions of services and programs getting cut, no money left, job losses, etc. None of it true. The Vadney, Sylvester, Robbins, Krzykowski, Lukens team approved the budget with their majority; the teachers clique wanted a higher levy (at least 3.58%) and lost (AGAIN). In the process Dr McCartney and the Vadney majority not only kept most programs but even added some! So where are all of these lies coming from, we’d like to know. And why?

This just in: A local resident attempted to post a comment on the Friends of RCS Facebook site and got this response:

Beth Sullivan Pike: Our page is supporting 3 candidates. If you do not want to support them, you can comment elsewhere. Thank you!

Fiends of RCS: The Friends of RCS have chosen to support three fine candidates: James Latter, Jason Hyslop and Pat Brown. We know not everyone will agree with our choices. It is up to you to make your choices on election day, May 21st. BUT, please take your comments for the other candidates to other Facebook pages that are supporting your candidates. We will not tolerate negative comments against our candidates. Thank you!

No that’s real Naxi of you, Fiends! Friends of RCS is the group that is supporting the Latter-Hyslop-Brown mutant. It’s also the group that claims to “love discussion and dialogue,” but only their kind of discussion and dialogue. Isn’t that an embarrassment to this community, to our democratic principles? Thank You! Beth Sullivan Pike for making our point for us!

I know. They know. And you already know. So why fool ourselves? They’re the same thugs who are backing the Latter-Hyslop-Brown mutant.

Here are some more questions that might open your eyes a bit wider to the truth:

Let me ask you when ever have you seen any of the resident-business people standing on chairs and shouting at a board of education meeting? You probably can’t think of a single instance because it never happens. But what about the Fiends of RCS? The Coeymanazis? The most recent instance was at the May 14th board of education meeting when Suni Martinez Schwan was shouting at the board and at a speaker at the podium. Then Matt Miller and Jerry Deluca had an outburst and were evicted from the meeting by Dr McCartney. Well, that happens to be the way they are: animals.

When have you ever heard Mr Vadney, Ms Sylvester, Mr Robbins, Mr Lukens, or Mr Krzykowski ever address another board member disrespectfully or demeaningly. I’ve never seen or heard that happen and I review all of the videos of the meetings. Can we say the same thing about Alice Whalen, Howard Engel, James Latter, Jerry Deluca? NO!  As a matter of fact, that’s the way they are: animals. Note that I didn’t include Edward “Teddy” Reville because he’s so comatose at most meetings you’d doubt he was alive. How’d he get on the board, anyway?

And what about the Deluca thugs? Now that’s a bunch of savages (I won’t even call them animals, it would offend the animals). Their motto is: “If You Don’t Have Facts Make Some Up!” Enough said.

And then the residents-in-denial like Denise Carl Hughes (her husband, Scott Hughes, jumped ship when he was prez of the RCS BoE and the going got rough. Now she’s a big deal? She’s a vicious biatch, nothing more.  History, people, remember the HISTORY!) and Eileen Vosburgh and their minions don’t think this community is broken, dysfunctional. Well it is, girls, admit it. And it’s people like you who make it broken and dysfunctional. Admit it.

So, ladies and gentlemen, if you really want to put respect and integrity on the RCS board of education you won’t do it by re-electing James Latter or electing Jason Hyslop or Patrick Brown.

The signs tell it all. Latter, Hyslop and Brown are not independent, they are part of a like minded group and they’re telling you that by joining together even on their signs. The teachers clique and the Coeymanazis own Latter, Hyslop, and Brown. They are owned by the special interests. They’re tools.

You won’t find Vadney or Sylvester or Polyak listed together. Why? Because they don’t belong to anyone but the community who elects them. They are independent and aren’t owned by anyone. They think on their feet and don’t take orders from unions, special interests or godfathers.

So, dear readers, I ask you: Given this information and your God-given intelligence can you make the right choice?

Keep in mind that it’s not the people being torn apart by the Albany Times Useless who are the ones scandalizing and insulting the RCS district and community. And it’s not the people being torn apart by the Albany Times Useless who are feeding the misinformation and lies to the Albany Times Useless who are scandalizing and insulting the RCS district and community. And it’s not the people being torn apart by the Albany Times Useless that are breaking this RCS district and community (while denying the very results of their unscrupulous and criminal behavior). We know who it is: The very ones opposing Dr Alan R. McCarney and the good work of Mr John Vadney, Ms Judy Sylvester, the promise represented by Mr Laszlo Polyak, and the resident-business team on the RCS BoE. Yes! We know who you are! And you’re scared shiteless, aren’t you?

Monkey Business

monkey jokeThis district is like a tree full of monkeys, all on different limbs at different levels.
Some monkeys are on top, some down below.
The monkeys on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces.
The monkeys on the bottom looking up see nothing but assholes.
Think about that and decide if you want to be on top or stay on the bottom branch.
