Town of Coeymans and Coeymans Police Department, Coeymans Police Chief Gregory Darlington Hit Hard with a Notice of Claim for Civil Rights Violations, Violating Citizen’s First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendment Rights, Criminal Obstruction of Justice and Official Misconduct Charges.

We reported on the village of Ravena’s insane posting of a “No Loitering” sign on a public gazebo and Ravena mayor John Bruno and hatchet-woman Nancy Warner’s harassing of citizens who congregate in or around the public gazebo, especially on nights when the Teen Center is open. Bruno and Warner were actually observed cruising the gazebo at bizarre hours, and the Coeymans police joined in the harassment.

What the village of Ravena didn’t realize and what the Coeymans Police and police chief Gregory Darlington apparently didn’t know but should have is that the village of Ravena so-called no loitering law is 110% unconstitutional and violates citizens’ civil rights and the provisions of the First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution that guarantee citzen’s rights of assembly, expression, due process, and prohibit unlawful search and seizure. In fact, the village of Ravena and the Coeymans Police Department actually were courting criminal charges of obstructing justice and official misconduct, according to the Notice of Claim served on the village of Ravena and the town of Coeymans.

Ravena mayor John Bruno and village of Ravena board members Nancy Warner, William Bailey, Martin Case, and Rocco Persico, and town of Coeymans supervisor Stephen Flach and Coeymans board members Peter Masti, Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, and Dawn Rogers were all named in the Notice of Claim, a requirement before filing a full-blown lawsuit against the village and town.

The really troubling part of these harassment and civil rights violation allegations is that at least two of the culprits are employees of the RCS Central School District: Martin Case is a social studies teacher (Of all things, social studies! And he is the biggest hypocrite of them all!) at the high school and Rocco Persico is a school psychologist at the high school. What does that tell you about the types we have in direct contact with the kids? The very people we are paying to teach them in the schools are harassing them in the streets!!! Hypocrites!!! And one of them is “clergy” (of a sort), Coeymans supervisor Stephen Flach and Peter Masti is a R.N. and allegedly a serious “Christian.”  Hypocrites!!!

In fact, Peter Masti writes in a letter to the editor and published in the Times Union (Thursday, September 17, 2009 ):

“Where will it stop, this all-powerful government stripping us of our rights in the name of “protecting others”? I do not have the answer, but we will not have to come up with it if we do not let it start at all.“

and here’s another Peter Masti quote (Times Union, January 8, 2013):

“When government thinks it is God, it oversteps its role in a most serious manner. It needs to remember that its oath is to uphold the law as it was originally intended.”

Yes, Mr Masti?  Well it’s there now and now you and your friends will have to fix it. Our question is:  When will you and your fellow board members, the Coeymans Police Department and the Village of Ravena stop stripping us of our rights?!? Can we put action where the words are?

And while we’re at it, lest we be accused of casting a blind eye to clergy who themselves cast a blind eye to the evil right under their noses, let’s not forget the apostate-hypocrite pastor of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Ravena, the very type of “renewal” priest that Paul VI had in mind when he stated that the “smoke of satan has entered the Church thru a small crack,” (or maybe his holiness meant ‘a small crackpot‘). Rev. James Kane of St Pat’s, among his many, many abuses of rules and liturgy, has made the arch-satan of the Coeymans Police Department, Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca, a lay minister, and has placed Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca in the sacred space of the sanctuary as a reader of Holy Scripture during the Catholic liturgy.  This is an incredible sin when you think of how the Christian churches, Protestant and Catholic,  are always preaching and publishing about social justice, human rights, etc.! Holy hypocrisy, Batman!

The Coeymans Police Department and Police Chief Gregory Darlington were also named in the claim because of their cooperation in enforcing the illegal law and for their obstruction of justice, official misconduct, and violation of civil and protected constitutional rights.

The Claim demands payment of at least $1,000,000 in damages or, and this is where it gets interesting, that the village and town make public apologies, publish their apologies together with the apology of the Coeymans police chief in the local official newspapers and, as an alternative to the at least $1,000,000 plus, to make no-strings-attached donations in the amount of $100,000 per year for five years to the Ravena-Coeymans Teen and Youth Activities Center, the non-profit youth services organization that mayor Bruno, councilwoman Nancy Warner and the Coeymans police have been harassing.

The citizen filing the Notice of Claim explains that he is not interested in profiting for himself but the civil rights abuses have to stop. Furthermore, he says, if the village of Ravena can afford to finance an unlawful and fraudulent (our words) Ravena Health and Fitness Center to the tune of $105,000+ a year, a healthclub that excludes persons under the age of 18 years, the very group that the Teen Center takes under its wing, then it can serve justice and fairness by making a gift, a donation to the Teen Center, too. Young people are citizens, too, and should not be excluded from the generosity of taxpayers! We agree 150%.

Notice of Claim Alleges Coeymans Police Chief is Incompetent, Discriminatory Law Enforcement, Criminal Obstruction of Justice, and more…

The second Notice of Claim that was served on the Town of Coeymans is going for the tender parts of the Coeymans Police Department and its incompetent police chief, Gregory Darlington…alleges discriminatory law enforcement, criminal obstruction of justice, and violation of civil and protected constitutional rights.

The Notice of Claim served on the town of Coeymans naming the Town of Coeymans, Coeymans supervisor Stephen Flach, the Coeymans town board and members Peter Masti, Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, and Dawn Rogers, the Coeymans Police Department, Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington, and Coeymans police officer Jason Albert alleges Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington is a whimpering wimp (our language) and is Incompetent, and that on Darlington’s watch the Coeymans police department has engaged in  discriminatory law enforcement, criminal obstruction of justice, and violation of civil and protected constitutional rights, and more.

The Notice of Claim also charges the town of Coeymans, the town of Coeymans supervisor Stephen Flach, and the Coeymans town board and members Peter Masti, Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, and Dawn Rogers aiding and abetting the misconduct in the Coeymans police department and the incompetence of Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington because the Coeymans town supervisor Flach and board members Masti, Boehm, Dolan, and Rogers have the duty and responsibility of directly supervising Darlington and his band of rabid wolverines. The Notice of Claim specifically names Darlington, Gerald Deluca, Ryan Johnson as examples of the failure of the Coeymans Police Department.

The Notice of Claim also names Coeymans police officer jason Albert for his role in the sham investigation of Cathleen M. Deluca a.k.a. Cathy Deluca, wife of Coeymans Police Department employee, Gerald “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca. Officer Albert seemed to have had trouble reading the law or had some help having trouble reading the law and botched up the investigation not only of the initial complaint against Cathy Deluca, manager of the controversial Ravena Health and Fitness Center, but managed also to overlook the fact that Deluca and her employee Claude A. Wheeles conspired to criminally falsely report an incident (seems to be a local habit in Ravena-Coeymans) , and yet another criminal offence of obstruction of justice! Incredibly, Albert glossed over the facts and even closed the investigation just hours after having interviewed the complainant and then actually ignored evidence proving that Deluca and Wheeles had lied! We have the stuff and it’s unbelievable. But it just goes to prove that it rally pays off in Ravena-Coeymans if you know someone in village or town hall.

Since Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington’s wife, Leah [sp?] Darlington, works in the Albany County District Attorney P[udenda] David Soares’ office, Could that have a little something to do with the disappearing investigations or the disappearing felonies? Waddaya say, Chiefie? Wifie and you in cohoots to save the Delucas’ bloated arses?

The obstruction of justice charges and official misconduct are both misdemeanors.

But the worst offence to the public is the fact that the Coeymans supervisor Flach and the Coeymans town board and its members  Peter Masti, Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, and Dawn Rogers, elected officials who took oaths of office to support and to protect the constitution have done just the opposite. Because they have failed miserably in their duties and obligations to supervise the Coeymans police chief, Gregory Darlington, and the operations of the Coeymans Police Department, they have indifferently, negligently, and in some cases wilfully violated citizens’ civil rights and protected constitutional rights. While this situation might be the norm in the village of Ravena, we do expect more from the town of Coeymans (Why? We don’t know.)

Gregory Darlington is a public employee, not an elected official, and is subject to the provisions of a job description both as a civil service employee and as a town employee, as well as to periodic evaluation and, if necessary, disciplinary procedures. But the town of Coeymans board has pussy-footed around and has let Darlington have his way in the department everywhere from ignoring blatant abuses, to ignoring employee misconduct, to refusing to communicate with citizens, and has not been held to the minimum standards of his written job description. But he’s being paid more than $90,000 a year out of taxpayer money! And nobody’s watching him or keeping him on the straight and narrow. WTF is going on here, people?!?

According to the citizen filing the Notice of Claim, “I’m just fed up with the favoritism, the dishonesty, the conspicuous double-standards and the abuse in this community. And it really gets my dander up when they go after easy prey like kids or brain-dead druggies and let the real criminals go Scott-free. No pun in intended when you know they let Scott Lendin off the hook! We see the crimes of boardmembers relatives like Tom Dolan’s son [Editor’s Note: Dolan is Coeymans town board member and liaison to the Coeymans Police Department] and Dawn Roger’s daughter [Editor’s Note: Dolan is Coeymans town board member and also town liason officer to the Coeymans P.D.] disappear! When you have friends in the police department, like Scott Lendin claims he has, felonies tend to disappear! That’s just not right! But they’ve f**ked with the wrong citizen now and for the last time! I’m taking no prisoners in this war.” YES! Stick to your guns and fight the good fight!

We hope that some of the citizens in the Ravena-Coeymans community will stand up and join this courageous citizen and join the fight to clean up Ravena-Coeymans and to take back our civil rights!

Coeymanazi Building Inspector Conrad: Good fences make good neighbors! More Laws Better…

Local News Is Fast Becoming Scarce  If Not Ultra-Commonplace. A Sure Sign that The Times Useless and Its Step-cousin, the Ravena News Herald are Scandal-Starved.

Judging from the front page of the Ravena News Herald and from the items–they’re not stories, actually, nor are they professional journalism, by the way–the local-bulletin-board-wannabe-newspaper is fast becoming advertisements in disguise  while continuing as a local propaganda rag. (Example: “Free” kempo karate demos at library for children; parents will pay after the kids get a taste. Can’t a library just be a library anymore?) Just look at the latest edition of the Ravena News Herald to see what we mean.

In a front-page piece on the “Scouts”  meeting in the Roman Catholic Church of St Patrick in Ravena, we read that

“…dozens of community members gathered at St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena to witness the Cub and Boy Scouts of Troop 1067 reaffirm their commitment to reverence, “to be reverent toward God, faithful in his [Ed. note: God’s?] religious duties and to respect the beliefs of others” in accordance with the law of the Scout put forth by the Boy Scouts of America.”

That bit of scurrilous reporting which, if you read the news outside of Ravena-Coeymans, is the epitome of misinformation and hypocrisy, given the BSA’s refusal to stop being a pillar of discrimination, exclusion and hate, where even the federal government has long ago legislated against such practices. I think it’s the part about to “respect the beliefs of others,” that got my attention. But more on that some other time.

But the most glaring first-page gaffe is the caption under the large photo on the first page. (Can you find it?) More about this later on.

This was followed by a rather lengthy “prayer” read by Brian Searles, BSA troop master, which runs more than 144 words and takes up 2/3 of the first page text. That “prayer” runs along the lines of the Prayer of St Francis of Assisi that starts, “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace…”

“Dear Lord, bless all those everywhere who contribute to shape the hearts, minds and bodies of young people. Let us remember what they have taught and apply it daily.”

I have some serious questions as to the “what they have been taught,” and if the scout leader is referring to the explicit policy of discrimination and hate espoused, defended, and ipso facto “taught” by the Boy Scouts of America espouse with regard to certain groups. Searles continues:

“When facing deceit and dishonesty, let us be trustworthy. If we see hypocrisy and faithlessness, let us be loyal. Where disregard for others and where materialism prevails, let us be helpful. In an atmosphere of ill manner, let us be courteous. Where some measure manliness in brutality and crudeness, let us be kind. Though law-breaking and rule-scoffing are common, let us be obedient. While others grumble and grouch, let us be cheerful. In an environment blighted by waste and extravagance, let us be thrifty. When confronted with danger and temptation, let us be brave. As we see filth and pollution everywhere, let us be clean. While witnessing impiety and irreligion, let us remember to be reverent. In short, in a world that has for generation after generation lamented the lack of good examples, let us Scouts stand out, grow up and be real adults.”

Clumsy as Mr Searles plagiarized prayer might be, his complaints are quite clear–we all know what he’s talking about, don’t we?

Actually, had Mr Searles simply read the Prayer of St Francis, maybe someone in the group would have more completely appreciated the intended prayerfulness of the moment and would have actually attempted to live the admonitions promoted by the holy example of the saint, and centuries later distilled shortly before the First World War into the now popular and familiar verses. It’s rather ironic, too, that these lofty confessions of what our society and community have come to represent: “deceit and dishonesty,” hypocrisy and faithlessness,” “disregard for others,” “materialism,” “ill manner” ( must admit, I’m at a loss to really understand what that is supposed to mean), “manliness in brutality and crudeness,” “law-breaking and rule-scoffing,” where our neighbors “grumble and grouch,” and in a culture that confronts us daily with “danger and temptation,” where we find “filth and pollution everywhere,” and in our very churches we witness “impiety and irreligion” (irreligion is an interesting word meaning hostility towards religion. I don’t think that’s the problem though.), “lack of good examples.” In a word, doesn’t this sound like the routine in this community, in the local schools, in the entire Smalbany  region? The entire country–with few exceptions? And let’s ask ourselves how long the Scouts have been in the RCS district? And where do they go and what do they do if they graduate from our schools, move on from the scouts?

We also read in that same issue of the Ravena News Herald that–like Ravena-Coeymans–there’s no news in New Baltimore. We say this because on page 4 (it’s interesting to note that in the News Herald, page 2 reports on “Around the Town” news from Albany, Vorheesville, Rotterdam (?!?), under the heading “New Baltimore,” we read that the ailing, lonely, only church left in New Baltimore is hosting a food and fellowship luncheon. We then turn to page 9 of that same issue and read an exact duplicate of the article. Nice editing. But my point is this: Has New Baltimore descended, deteriorated to such an extent that there’s nothing better to report than to repeat an announcement of a church luncheon?!?

RCS residents pay a buck to read that sort of amateurish, poorly written, unnewsworthy stuff

So we finally come to the stuff of our title, “Coeymanazi Building Inspector Conrad: Good fences make good neighbors?” How does that fit in with the Ravena News Herald and its misshapen and moronic reporting? Read on…

In a misinformative and pitifully distorted version of both American literature and reality, idiot reporter Bryan Rowzee, in the front-age item, “Coeymans. Keeping Coeymans on the map,” Rowzee starts off his item with a quote from Robert Frost’s memorable poem, Mending Wall. But in true News Herald Fashion, Rowzee misinterprets and so falsifies to his readers the meaning of the poem, and does so by taking one familiar line out of the context of the whole poem, similar to what’s done business as usual in the RCS community.

For starters, the poem is a lament of fences, how walls and fences are something that are unnatural:

Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun;
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.

And throughout the poem Frost questions the necessity for fences and even characterizes the neighbor who builds the fence (in the poem a stone wall) as being

…like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness…

In fact, Mr Rowzee, Frost’s poem has nothing good to say about walls or fences; in fact, the entire poem is a statement against walls and fences! Mr, Frost, describes his neighbor likening him to a menacing caveman as he puts a rock into the wall, and repeats, “Good fences makes good neighbors.” So, either Mr Rowzee is trying to be cute and is using the Frost quote in total ignorance of what the poem actually says or, Mr Rowzee is being sneaky and using the quote to ridicule Larry Conrad in the article. Difficult to say unless you read the item in the News Herald, and until you reach the paragraph

“Conrad said the town loves growth and wants growth but needs growth that follows the laws created to help the whole community. He said he hopes that this business and others will benefit from clearer zoning maps and believes this may lessen misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and town officials.”

Mr Conrad has a motley history of contradictions and obstruction; he’s not much different from any other small-minded, small-town, power-drunk petty official. Of course, Mr Conrad loves walls and fences, they’re unnatural and intended to isolate and obstruct. He’s been building unethical walls in the Coeymans community  for years and has gotten very good at it.

Moreover, there’s nothing small-minded, small-town, power-drunk petty officials like more than passing laws that make them appear more powerful and make their jobs more secure, while at the same time make everyone else’s lives more complicated, and unpleasant, increase the already insufferable red tape and corruption in the area, and offer more opportunities for the small-minded, small-town, power-drunk petty official to do “favors” for special people.

Yes, Mr Larry Conrad, Coeymans Building Inspector, does come to us with a long history and a mighty load of dirty laundry in his baggage. The are some very unsavory legends about the connections between Larry Conrad and Bobo-cop Gerald “Jerry Dirty-Hands” Deluca, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (Deluca claims to be a consultant with the DEC. Consulting on what?), and a tract of land on Route 9w, a certain family of lawyers in Ravena (did I say “Biscone“?  Oops!), and an alleged shady deal made to bamboozle an elderly couple out of their property for a song. Greed was the motivation, of course. And the lawyer (did I say “Biscone” again?  Oops!), made it all seem legal. But when the deal collapsed and the property was sold to a local family for a fair price, the retaliation began! And who was at the center of the “legal” harassment and retaliation? Why do you need to ask? Mr Larry Conrad.

Like so many in the Ravena-Coeymans élite, George Dardiani (violates the Code of Judicial Ethics), Ravena mayor John Bruno (plays loosey-goosey with public money), Cathy Deluca (runs a close second to her double-talking husband and has a teflon surface with her supporters), Michael Biscone, (is he village attorney or does he just bill the village? Whatever he is, he’s great at covering some apparent real conflicts of interest. We’ll FOIL his invoices for services and the payment vouchers from the village very soon!) and the list could go on and on,  Conrad talks out of both sides of his face, but as a made Coeymanazi, he’s loyal to the godfathers and to his protectors.

So you can really understand, given Conrad’s associations, history, cronies, and the mob he hangs out with, we take a very close look at statements like “the town … wants growth but needs growth that follows the laws created to help the whole community. He said he hopes that this business and others will benefit from clearer zoning maps and believes this may lessen misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and town officials.”

Conrad apparently believes that more laws controlling what residents and neighbors do and “help the community,” and that more laws “will lessen misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and town officials.” Which side of his mouth is this coming from, I ask?

Mr Conrad, the only way that misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and village/town officials can be lessened is not by creating more laws but by streamlining the administration. This may very well entail eliminating the village of Ravena and consolidating it with the hamlet of Coeymans under one single administration, an administration that will first of all put an end to the corruption and coercion that has hallmarked the Ravena-Coeymans system of oppression for decades! It will involve elimination of the money pit and den of thugs we popularly call the Coeymans Police Department and purging the crooks and dumbos calling themselves law enforcement! Replacing the Coeymans Police Department with a professionally trained corps of law enforcement like the Albany County Sheriff’s team would be the wisest move ever for this community.

Before you create new laws or bring in new systems, Mr Conrad, there’s a hell of a lot of healing that has to be done to “lessen misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and town officials.” 

The Ravena-Coeymans community has been hemorrhaging small businesses while being poisoned by the large corporations and oppressed by the special-interests in and around Albany that are feeding and fostering the small-minded, small-town, power-drunk petty officials who all believe they have their positions for life and can hand them over to their designated heirs.  And the Conrad-Biscone-Deluca-Bruno-Persico cliques have all but silenced the democratic process in the town of Coeymans. Clean out village and town hall completely and maybe the fresher air in the town of Coeymans will attract business-health conscious entrepreneurs. To date all that the village of Ravena and the town of Coeymans have attracted are corpse flies feeding on the dead and dying local economy. What businesses are left standing after the Conrad Crew and the Coeymanazis have finished are disillutioned, angry, and suspicious of anything that comes out of the village and town halls!

Larry Conrad hasn’t a clue what he’s talking about! Before you create new laws or bring in new systems, Mr Conrad, there’s a hell of a lot of healing that has to be done to “lessen misunderstandings and strained relationships between community members and town officials.” The TRUST and CONFIDENCE in local government has to be re-established after decades of a local corrupt machine of self-interests and special interests have made this entire community into a community of paranoid recluses! Thank the  Brunos, the Biscones, the Delucas, the Warners, the Darlingtons, the Teresis, the Neris, the Rotellos, the Persicos, and Yes! the Conrads of the area, and their Coeymanazi minions.

Rather than Building Fences or Proselytizing that “Good Fences Make Good Neighbors” or that Laws Lessen Misunderstanding and Heal Strained Relationships, the News Herald and the Scouts Should be Proactively Tearing Down Fences and Building Community in spite of the Hypocrites, Whether Religious, Social, or Political Hypocrites!

So back to page 1 of the Ravena News Herald. We can start by not asking God to do what we ourselves are very capable of doing ourselves if we simply follow the ethical principles taught by the Gospels and especially the Beatitudes (Sermon on the Mount). If you’ve forgotten what they are, find a Bible and read them again, if you ever have read them. The entire law condenses down to, “Love God totally and love your neighbor as you love yourself!”

Careful How You “Pray”!

Misusing prayer to make a political appeal to empty hearts is a sacrilege and involving God in that conspiracy is blasphemy! In the precincts of a Roman Catholic sacred space used for secular purposes, the prayer should either not have been done or the real experts in screwing up prayer should have been invited to invoke the petition to the divine: either the pastor of the Roman Catholic Church of St Patrick or the bishop’s minion, the deacon at St Patrick’s. At least the screwed up prayer would have been screwed up professionally. But to have such a “prayer” come from the lips of a representative of an organization that conspicuously and publicly discriminates and offends the dignity of members of the community is an affront to fair play and justice.

But certainly, the merit that can be taken from the so-called prayer is the enumeration of the darkness that the speaker finds in the community, society, and the world. But just publicly displaying awareness of those evils, evils that are right outside our doors, is not enough. Solutions are needed but no solutions are offered. That doesn’t work for me at all.

The public media have lost all sense of dignity and continue to fail in their obligations to the people of our communities. Where the public media, the newspapers, played an important role of sharing good information while playing fair, and demanding quality in the information they send out to the public–yes, the newspapers at one time played an important educational role–they now churn out chum, crap! The conspicuous cover photo accompanying the article, “Scouts reaffirm their faith in God in annual service,” regrettably demonstrates this point. In the caption we read: “Weblos of Pack 1067 illustrate the deadline sin of gluttony in a skit at the Scouts Own Service on Sunday.” What is a “deadline sin”? Doesn’t the editor know gluttony (actually intemperance in moral theological terms)  is a “deadly sin“? Shame on you!

Poor editing, poor attention to detail, poor reporting: No news in New Baltimore. Church luncheon announced instead and in two places. Shame on you News Herald and New Baltimore!

But giving Rowzee the benefit of doubt, maybe he was doing both tongue-in-cheek.

And again, the glaring ignorance of Mr Bryan Rowzee and his pitiful misrepresentation of a renowned American poet laureate’s poem, Mending Wall, reveals the deplorable level of teaching the humanities, even important American literature. Rowzee’s gaffe reveals two things at least: the carelessness and indifference of the print media in terms of accuracy and reliability of facts, even well-established facts, and the failure of our education system in teaching our American literary heritage to such an abominable degree that an allegedly “qualified” journalist (a term used very loosely, indeed, in this discussion), one whose prose is made public as if it were credible, doesn’t have an inkling of understanding of what he’s writing about. If Mr Rowzee knew anything of what he was writing about he would have used the line from the Robert Frost poem correctly, and Rowzee would certainly have known better than to have printed the Conrad quote. But giving Rowzee the benefit of doubt, maybe he was doing both tongue-in-cheek. We can only guess!

I was going to continue the reports on the RC Teen Activity Center and on the Unending Persecution of the RCS CSD BoE President by the Hypocrite Albany DA P.[udenda] David Soares, until I Experienced the Most Recent RCS school board public meeting on January 7, 2012. I simply had to comment on it!

The point is, however, that the specific RCS situation is not unique; in fact, it’s as common as…well, the metaphors I could offer may not be very pleasant so I’ll stop while I still have your attention. The problem is endemic, and I hope to convince you that it is as serious as I expect it is.

PowerPoint Masturbation. I reviewed the RCS Central School District board of education meeting of January 7th, and I was initially amazed that it was so…quiet. Fact is: It was barely attended by the public. Then came the reason: Another one of those idiotic digital slide show presentations where the presenter self-pleasures him or herself by vomiting onto a wall or screen a mass of numbers, charts and graphs that no one but the presenter understands. Only a death squad of mercenaries could kill the audience quicker! Is that the plan? Kill attendance by presenting idiotic garbage? Is that the purpose of the public sessions of the board of education meetings? Well, it does show one thing: If these presenters, who are teachers and administrators in the schools, are that self-absorbed and mentally zombified that they don’t give a damn how intensely boring they are and how disrespectful they are of their audience, what on earth are they doing in the classrooms? Is this an indicator of how they communicate information in the classroom, too? Then, of course, I started to think…

Education is all about communication. If teachers and administrators are not capable of communicating appropriately with their audience, what in hell are we spending all this money on paying teachers extreme salaries? If, from what we see and hear in these PowerPoint slide presentations by teachers and administrators is: What in hell are we spending all of the “professional development” money on for teachers? (Please don’t tell me, “It’s in their contract.”) The PowerPoint presentations are much too long, too many slides, too poorly designed, too poorly presented, not presented in a language the audience can fully understand, and present too much information for anyone of normal intelligence to digest! The time, effort, money would be better spent on a simple one-page executive summary, and an essential facts sheet followed with a Q/A session.

Dr Alan McCartney did an excellent job by jumping in and summarizing a very confused and muttered presentation point by clearly distilling the facts: “When she says [the increase in] online testing, the state has essentially told us that Within two years they expect that all state tests will be taken online at the same time by every student in the state.” Bingo. Stop the convoluted explanations and miscommunications, cross-referencing and pointing to other people. You’re supposed to be informing everyone!

But the fact remains: So much money being spent on technology, updates, new computers, etc. doesn’t do very much to improve socialization, reading, writing, development of self. Those are the problems that are being created by over-technologization of our schools and digitizing our learning environments. Out-of-control and excessive dependence on technology is a key factor in zombification.

Zombification of America. Imagine all of those futuristic low-budget films where masses of human beings are mindlessly gazing at Fearless Leader, who appears demonically proselytizing on a huge flat-screen. Imagine all of those low-budget walking-dead films depicting zombified undead human beings walking around aimlessly, mindlessly trying to find a brain to eat (apparently they’re brain-starved, the product of our education system). Imagine all of the newsreel, archival, and documentary images of the Nazi era, of Stalin’s Russia, of the China of the cultural revolution, and the propaganda machine that deprived whole populations of freedom of thought, speech, movement, and controlled every atom of information served to the public. Have you ever thought about how all of that was accomplished? Have you ever thought about the underlying message these films of protest, of warning they are sending?

Isolation of Children. In all of the totalitarian regimes, the family unit was a prime target. First you isolate parents from children, and then you get all the children in one place and brainwash them. Sound familiar? Here, let me help you to understand. In the Nazi, Stalinist, China during the cultural revolution, the family was always made sacrosanct because the propagandists knew at the time that it was central and a core value to the population. But what they then proceded to do is to gradually dissolve the traditional family to form a new-age type of family. Breeders would produce perfect offspring, who would be herded into education camps, and who then would become a generation of perfect zombies, and the cycle would continue. Are you getting it now? Maybe not? Let’s move on, then.

This isolation of children, young people from parents and the traditional family unit then went on to isolate families and children from the ethics and morality sources, the spiritual and faith communities, the churches and congregations. Once the sensitivity to the value of spirituality, faith and religion was erased in the family and in the youth, new gods, idols, could be set up to fill the void created by killing God. Once ethics and morality was taken out of the hands of the faith and spiritual communities, the now ethically and moraly sterile parents and youth could be filled with a popular, government, corporate morality and ethics.

Now those newly indoctrinated, brainwashed young adults become teachers. Without the traditional family to instill a sense of culture and identity, and without the faith communities to inspire ethics and morality, the education system, the schools and liberal colleges and universities now disseminate faddish, dumbed-down learning at economically hobbling prices. The basic thought here is: control the spirit and the mind through zombified education, the spirit through corporate ethics and morality, and vertical and horizontal movement by shackling the population with the propaganda that the ultimate goal is a college education even if you end up with a lifetime of debt and no job.

The control logic is ingenious. Don’t you think? No, you don’t think. That’s the fundamental problem!

Here’s an example: The other day I was having a breakfast meeting with a contributor. The waitress, always ready to add her two cents, starts bitching about what her daughter is [not] learning in middle school. Seems she’s falling behind and the mother hasn’t a clue how to help her. “She just doesn’t get the math they’re teaching! It’s all dashes and dots and numbers. I just don’t get it. I don’t understand what it is!” ISOLATION OF THE PARENT FROM THE CHILD’S EDUCATION! The government sets up systems that eliminate parental participation in their childrens’ education (except to pay dearly for it). If the parent doesn’t get it and can’t help the child, the parent loses esteem in the child’s eyes (“Gee, mom, you’re a dumbass!”), the child feels helpless and vulnerable, has low self-esteem (“I’m stupid.”), the modern morality, ethics, and economics force the single mother to work long hours to support the child (“Gee, mom, you’re never around when I need you!”), the father’s probably a victim of the legal system and in jail for peeing in public or desperation drinking (think alcoholism in soviet Russia), and the child has a no-parent family unit (Our law enforcement dunces and idiot judges at work reinforcing the zombification process!).

Enter the A.S.A.P. programs and the Teen  Activity Centers of the world! Parents are already technically isolated from their children and the ethical and moral foundations have been eroded to such an extent that any sense of guilt is radically lessened, so now parents, in the squeeze by the financial environment and the corporate brainwashing that they MUST HAVE, MUST RUSH OUT and GET, MUST GIVE, now make the excuse that to make ends meet, they both, mother and father, must have jobs.

(No one seems to catch on that they’re being satanically manipulated by the corporations, the educators, the service providers. Nope! They’re zombies now, they don’t have to think. No brain left, you see! That’s why the movie zombies have to eat brains…they have to replace their own brain they sacrificed to the government, unions and corporations!). But now we have “After School Activities Programs” and Community Teen Centers, Youth Centers, etc. that gather the young people together, away from home, family, parents, and become the surrogate home, family, parents to the children. All they are are Nazi, Stalinist, revolutionary Chinese youth camps, and they have the same effect: Separate the children from the home, family, parents; gather them into one place; make them feel good and liked there; replace the home, family, parents with a new home, family, and new “parents.” Get it yet? Sure, you rationalize the whole thing and think you “need to work to make ends meet,” that “you need to give the kids the latest brain-dissolving handheld toys,” that you need “to rush out and buy that product,” that everyone in the family “needs their own vehicle” (so that they can rush out and leave the home, family, parents and get to the youth or teen center, indoctrination camp.). No guilt anymore! Everyone has his or her addiction. Everyone’s a zombie.

Nobody needs to care. Everyone needs an assault weapon (to finish off all the other zombies). Do your hear the evil Lord [In]Sidious sniggering in the confusion of your life, now?

Zombie Teachers

Zombification of Education. Well, I started out talking about PowerPoint masturbation and presenter self-pleasuring. I raised the question if what we are seeing, the total alienation of the audience by the presenter, total unawareness of the audience, is that what’s happening in the classrooms? I then provided you, dear readers, with a tour of what I see is going on right under unseeing eyes: the zombification of the people. Yes, we are so blind that we sheeple along to the drumbeat of the propagandists, our richly lobby-bribed elected officials, the corporations, and a federal government too big to care and money-making-bailout-sponges the propagandists tell us are too big to fail. But what we are really missing, so tragically missing is the true tragedy right here, in our own communities, right in your own home: the zombification of the family! We used to hear that “education starts in the home, formation in the churches, training in the schools.” Where has all that wisdom gone? We are becoming a nation of digitized, electronic junkies. We are becoming a society of ethically cleansed, amoral, brainless, starving zombies. Why? Because it’s so easy. That’s why.

But we like easy. But when you actually think about it it’s catastrophic! Take, for example, electronic communications. Before the birth of the transistor radio way back in the 1960’s, people sat home and listened to the radio together; with the transistor radio, the migration genes were facilitated, and you could listen on your own, while on the move! Then came the computer and e-mail and online searches. No more sitting down and writing a nice card or going to the library, seeing friends, socializing, browsing the stacks. Now you could sit in a dark cubicle or in a corner of your bedroom and get it all! But even then you still had to go out, face the world, shop, negotiate, pay bills.

No more, my little zombies! Just isolate yourself in your dark little corner and Bingo! It’s all done…digitally. Eating out in a restaurant or a diner used to be a social ritual. Forget about that, too! Just look around you: couples sitting at the same table, each one looking blankly down at their lap. It used to be that when you saw something like that you yelled: “Hands on the table!” No more, my little zombies! All the self-pleasuring now is done…digitally!

So the universities came up with another rain-making, revenue generating, cost-saving strategy: online degrees. No more physical interpersonal social learning experiences. Just sit in your dusty, smelly, infested corner and “earn a degree.” It’s that simple, simpletons!

Worse still, our educators and the boards of education are caving to an idiotic decree, now law, that mandates that our schools go digital! Now if this isn’t a conspiracy by the information technology lobbies, the computer and software lobbies, I must have come down with the last shower!

Freud, Piaget, Ainsworth, Watson, Bandura, Kohlberg and others all have theories of human development, of stages of human moral and character evelopment and all of them take into consideration the importance of human physical interaction.

One Instructor, One Lesson for All

Almost every mainstream magazine and journal has recently published articles on the importance of human contact in healthy human development and the consequences of “isolation.” The studies and research on which these articles are based is done by scholars and academics, scientists. Why is it all lost on our educators? The Answer: Unions and Lobbies! MONEY. And our federal and state education pundits are all in the union and lobby pockets! That’s why the New York State Education Department has told schools to start planning for the flatscreen teacher–all of education will be cleansed of the personal role model in the classroom, the adored teacher (what’s left of any real role models in the classroom). One standardized model will present one standardized presentation over fiberoptic delivery or satellite hookup. All zombies will get one standardized program of instruction. All little zombies will be uniform in their thinking. All parent zombies will be eliminated from the picture (until tax time comes). The entire world will be ZOMBIFIED!

Which Way Is God?!?

Nowadays Even God Comes in 29 Different Flavors. Religion and faith, too, has been zombified by the media and by the courts. People are spiritually lost, impoverished. They know there’s something more than the new idols of cars, money, handhelds, digital friends. The human spirit feels drawn to something else! And the free market economy, atheist capitalism is right there to meet the need! My question is :  Why? if so many people are searching that someone doesn’t get the message that they’re not finding what they need. Just driving around the area we see more different churches than Heinz has soups! What is it that all these churches are attempting to answer but don’t seem to be doing? An interesting fact is that Episcopalians are defecting to Roman Catholicism; Roman Catholics, fundamentalists, Evangelicals, and others are flocking to the Eastern Orthodox Church! The reasons? Here are just a couple of the reasons given in the literature:

• the reductionism, barreness, and minimalism in most faddish, modern faith communities
• a search for a sense of mystery and majesty in worship
• a search for a joyful and confident, credible celebration of the gospel liturgy
• a commitment to the role of tradition as a supplement/complement to the Bible as a source for theology
• an experience of a well-defined sense of identity in faith tradition rooted in a historical consciousness of the early church
• a heritage of Christian perseverance tested by modern challenges, even persecutions.

The Powers had to Make God Politically Incorrect in our Schools and Public Institutions.

Why? Because a belief in God and freedom to speak about God could possibly remind us that we have the freedom,  the chutzpah (Hebrew: audacity) to Argue with God. In fact, this  would create a dangerous situation in which the citizen could challenge the Powers. Hell, if Abraham and Job could argue with God, why shouldn’t we challenge the Powers?

One possible explanation is that the general zombification we are witnessing is expressing itself in confusion and derailment relating to spirituality and the search for Ultimate Truth, a search for our own identity. The causes of the general zombification include those discussed above. The solutions don’t need to be discovered, they’re already under our noses, we need only to see and acknowledge them.

Mr Michael Fisher of the RC Teen Activity Center Finally Stepped up to the Plate and Responds to … We’re Not Quite Sure What He’s Responding To…

Our Response to Mr Fisher’s Comment

We have published Mr Michael Fishers comment in its entirety in the comments section of one of our previous articles on the RC Teen Activity Center. In retrospect, we thought that we really should respond to some of Mr Fisher’s statements, to clarify them, if you prefer, and to offer our understanding of what he’s attempting to say. (Fisher’s original comment is so rambling and emotional it was very difficult to digest at one sitting, so we’ve just reproduced some parts of it (in quotes and maroon) and provided our comments below.)

“Ok enough is enough. I stated to everyone that I will not get involved in politics, although there is this one guy here with this blog who is trying to drag me into the politics.”

Mr Fisher appears to be very naïve or deceptive or both when he makes such a statement. In fact, in a comment published on this blog in response to Mr Fisher’s alter ego RavenaCitizen, you can read exactly what our position is: “Michael Fisher has willingly and voluntarily become a part of local politics and he can’t simply escape that fact by simply saying that he wants to stay out of politics in this district. That’s idiotic, to be very honest. He’s not running a gas station or a hair salon, for Pete’s sake! He’s made a highly charged political statement and has made political statements galore throughout his promotion campaign of the Teen Center. He is injecting himself into a political relationship with the village, the town, the school district, the churches, the social institutions and organizations of the district, and is placing himself in a very tenuous and sensitive position in parent child relationships. How much more political can it possibly get?”

“So I am here to say my peace, and you will not see me on here again. If someone should know of a lace where blogs can be posted by both parties and not be editied for ones own benefit, please email me at michael@rcteencenter.com and we can continue this in public forum elsewhere. The reason I am looking for a place on the web, is because the owner of this blog is editing and posting to his benefit.”

[Editor’s Note: You can do that right here, Mr Fisher. You already have!] Mr Fisher, is either very badly informed, naïve, or plainly malicious to make that statement. Anyone who comments on this blog or on any of the articles published on this blog knows that this is absolutely untrue! Mr Fisher is showing some very uncomplimentary colors when he makes a statement like this.

“I am Michael C. Fisher, I reside at [redacted] Cottage Street, Ravena, NY 12143, in Albany County. I am a volunteer firefighter in Coeymans Fire Department, and yes I work full time as a Leasing Consultant for Oakbrook Manor LLC in Ravena.”

That’s nice! Finally, the writer of the comment identifies him/herself. We do wonder, though, how being a volunteer firefighter and a leasing consultant (What is that anyway? Are written and oral communications skills a requirement?) qualifies Mr Fisher to be a principal in a facility that claims to provide social and academic support and services to adolescents.

“You see, the owner of this blog knows this because the ravenacitizen is someone that I know and has forwarded personally to the owner of this blog copies of my Deed to my home on Cottage Street, a copy of my power bill to my home on Cottage Street and a copy of my firefighter ID. Although no mention was made of that from the blogger…”

We and others have repeatedly told RavenaCitizen that we are not interested in third-party information, nor in receiving questionable redacted documents from a third party that allegedly are in response to our demands for disclosure from Mr Fisher. We do not use that sort of information; it’s clearly hearsay and very iffy. We have repeatedly asked why Mr Fisher needs to go through RavenaCitizen (is Mr Fisher actually RavenaCitizen?) when he could easily have simply answered the questions publicly in any of the forms we had previously suggested. Or he could have left a sensible response on this blog. Strange way to behave in our opinion.

So what do you think you would say or your neighbors would say if, at the Four Corners junction on 9W in Ravena, the Bethlehem Center Sports Association were to set up shop, stop traffic, delay your trip home, while they’re collecting money from your RCS neighbors to fund their Bethlehem sports agenda? You’d probably say to yourself, “What in hell are they doing here? Get back to where you belong!” It’s only natural.

We were doing errands and anxious to get home and thought to ourselves, “Oh, NO! Not an accident!” As the traffic inched towards the light we say that it wasn’t an accident but several people stopping cars and holding out containers. Now I thought, “Who are these people stopping traffic at a busy intersection, causing this back-up and delay?” Then a sloppily painted sign caught my eye and I felt really embarrassed: “Support the RC Teen Center!“

 There was a time, long, long ago, when stories were told of miraculous conversions such as the one about St Francis taming the vicious wolf of Gubbio, or the Gospel parables of the harlot who becomes a saint. There are many, many such stories and they all require suspension of logic, a leap of faith to swallow. But they’re all nice stories…a bit hard to believe…but the basic lesson is that even the worst can still become good. But it takes a saint like Francis, or a man-god like Jesus to do the job; it doesn’t just happen!

Today a reader forwarded to us an article that appeared in the July 5, 2012, Times Union, “Redeeming value of a bottle, can drive. RCS Bottle Blitz aims to boost community spirit, pay for school trips” and scrawled by the Deluca sockpuppet Dayelin Roman. As we’ve observed several times already, Dayelin Roman seems to write on command and you really have to wonder who it is she works for, the Coeymanazis or for Hearst Corporation? Prostituting herself for a cheap, short-lived story, it seems. But the point remains: The Times Union – – again, as usual, still – –  is reporting on an event that happened several weeks ago and is really no news at all. Congratulations, RCS! You’ve made the nothing news again!

Anyone in the RCS school district knows that Cathy Deluca waddled up to the speakers podium during a RCS board of education meeting in early June and announced her idiotic bottle-and-can drive to raise money for extracurricular programs. But at a previous meeting, at the May 22 board of education meeting, to be exact, Cathy Deluca lumbers up to the podium wearing one of Dirty-Hands Jerry’s conflict-of-interest organization’s blouses, one displaying ARANY (Automotive Recycling Association of New York), right over the left hooter horribilis!

But having noticed her shameless sporting of one of her husband’s so-called clients (Dirty-Hands Jerry lists ARANY, the Mainstreet Small Business Coalition, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, the NYS Assembly, Deluca Public Affairs as his other employments, in addition to being employed by the Coeymans Police Department. Why hasn’t the Times Union looked a bit deeper into those claims?) But back to our story–it’s all going to come together in a minute: In about 1996, when hubby Dirty-Hands Jerry was wooing the community to put him in public office and wowing the community with promises of using his “political connections” to benefit the community…we’re still waiting, Jerry…he made a public commitment in the public media but never ponied up!

Cathy Deluca, Jerry Deluca: Why not get your political connections to work and raise some real money. Jerry: Why not ask Deluca Public Affairs, ARANY, the Main Street Small Business Coalition to get together and raise some money to support the programs. Now there’s an idea you never thought of! Why not make good on your promises you never kept since ’96!

Now  after all the backstabbing, the Times Union publishes a story that portrays the worst Coeymanazi ringleaders, the most toxic of the venomous reptiles in RCS, none other than Cathy Long Deluca, who whines that she is ” tired of all the nonsense…Tired of reading about voter fraud allegations, tired of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk school board members facing charges, tired of hearing about a vitriolic blog…” Of course, Cathy, you’re tired of hearing about your sins; it’s a heavy burden to bear but it’s yours, Cathy, all yours!

The Deluca Method

But there’s no mention of Cathy Deluca and her Coeymanazis as having been the ringleaders in all of the problems Deluca is so “tired” of! She and her husband, Dirty-Hands Jerry, together with their band of thugs, started the whole mess, ending up with the Delucas’ good friend, Josephine O’Connor, starting her “He called me fat!” fraud, and her getting her father, the village idiot Joe Tracey, set up to frame the board of education president, and then good old stupid Tracey gets himself arrested! As a direct sequel to all of that, a kid gets ambushed and assaulted at the high school, and lawsuits get filed! Who was behind it all? The Delucas, Hommel, D’Esposito, the Coeymans Police (= Deluca), Josephine O’Connor, and her idiot father, Joe Tracey!

Connect the dots, people! Connect the damned dots!

Now that the Coeymanazis are on the defensive, all of a sudden the rats are cornered and it’s “let’s make nice time.” One thing is for certain, the Delucas and their cronies can’t change their characters over night. The leopard can’t change its spots.  That’s impossible. But they are real quick-change artists when it comes to putting on a new mask. The snake can shed its skin but it’s still a snake.

Now, back to fundraising for the school programs (we won’t mention the recent auditor’s finding that a number of people at the high school have been being overpaid for years to the tune of $thousands$. Or the other negative findings on questionable financial practices that the auditors identified. But now, after having practically handed the Delucas and their friends more than $41 million they hope to get to play with, and spread around a bit, the good residents of RCS need to collect bottles and cans, and dear St Cathy Deluca is going to be the patron saint of the effort. No, thank you! Times Union.

What makes me want to puke is that Cathy Deluca the great complainer, finger-pointer, the great divider can say with a pudgy straight face without even so much as creasing a dimple: “I wanted to do something to get people to come together on,” DeLuca said. “In these budget times, field trips are one of the first things cut. This is just a small token compared to what we face with the budget.” Have we all forgotten that the 2012-13 budget that saddled RCS property owners with an additional 6.8% in taxes and was pushed by the Deluca gang, who didn’t hesitate to use every dirty trick in the book to get it pushed through the vote, a vote that has been getting some pretty serious investigation lately? (Even RCS Superintenden Smith had to admit publicly that signatures and votes did not tally up!) Now, after Deluca and crew got what they wanted, everyone else gets the dirty end of the stick, and sweet-thing Cathy is going to save the community and the programs with What?!?!  the RCS Bottle Blitz!?! RCS has been “blitzed” and it hasn’t been by bottles! More like Cathy Deluca and her Coeymanazis!

How Many for 1 Kid/1 Fieldtrip, Cathy?

Is this the same Cathy Deluca who sits with the other toxic clowns in the audience and make obscene noises, gestures, and adverse comments during board of education meetings? Is this the same Cathy Deluca who, with her husband Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca, at almost every BoE meeting regularly waddle up to the podium to attack, insult, and degrade the board and other citizens and residents? Is this the same Cathy Deluca who with the Dave and Amy Bartlett, Donna Leput-Hommel, R.J. D’Esposito, James Latter, Josephine O’Connor, atheist-teacher Matt Miller, and a handful of others have spread hate and suspicion throughout the RCS community and whose husband, Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca works the same black magic from the Coeymans Police Department? The same Delucas who inspired the Josephine O’Connor-Joe Tracey conspiracy? Yes! Friends, it’s the same Cathy Deluca who that stupid cow Dayelin Roman quotes as saying, “Just to try to show people that you can still disagree and be respectful about it,” DeLuca said. “It’s not a bad community. It really isn’t. Maybe this is a step in the right direction.” The step in the right direction for you, Cathy, would be a long walk off a short pier.

Why doesn’t Cathy Deluca approach the local business associations—I mean the ones that she and Donna Leput-Hommel didn’t try to slander and punish during the budget campaign (are there any left?). Burnt too many bridges, Cathy, Donna? Or why not get the local churches to pitch in, like the Church of St Patrick in Ravena. Jim Kane has already allowed you to desecrate the sanctuary, not much more left for you to soil. Truth is, Cathy, nobody wants anything to do with you and your group, and nobody wants to work with you or your thugs. Should’ve thought of being respectful and decent years ago! Or even just months ago—but then you thought you still had something to gain, still saw some self-interest benefit. But you LOST, Cathy, Jerry, Donna!

If you don’t think that Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca and his spouse, Cathy Long Deluca, Ms “Dirty-Hands,”  have an agenda–actually, it’s the same conspiracy they were involved in before the voting–we should ask “Dirty-Hands” two questions: Jerry if you’re such an expert on “conflict of interest,” and you should be if your own record has anything to say about it, where were you when:

• Josephine O’Connor, a sitting board of education member at the time, voted to grant her husband, her spouse, tenure in the RCS CSC?
• Josephine O’Connor, a sitting board of education member at the time, voted to approve the 2012-13 budget at the 11th hour, a vote that benefitted her husband and her directly!?!
• Where were you when Josephine O’Connor, known to be a very good friend of yours, and her lackey father, Joe Tracey, were plotting to attempt to fraudulently disgrace the sitting board of education president? (No need to answer, we all know!)
• We won”t even bring up the swimming pool disaster or your possible involvement in the sale of certain town properties (see our previous article).

Well, “Dirty-Hands,” we know what your agenda was and still is: power with no accountability. You have a syndrome known as selective projection vision: You and Cathy and your mob of Coeymanazis see your own evil in everyone else, but cast a blind eye on your own criminal behavior and the despicable behavior of your fellow Coeymanazis!

We’ll call him “Dirty-Hands Deluca” for now. We’re convinced much more than his hands are dirty but for now we’ll stick to his hands, because they are really unsanitary.

Deluca made an ass of himself at the June 19th board of education meeting when he gave one of his famous open-mouth-and-insert-both-hooves, when he attempted to spread more misinformation–the guy’s non-stop–by misinterpreting  Article 18 of the New York State Municipal Law, which sets forth certain baseline conflicts of interest standards that apply in every municipality in the State (except, of course, New York City). Deluca tried to read from a text explaining the notion of conflict of interest but didn’t appear to understand it entirely. Well, Betsy, perhaps in that $41 million dollar school district budget you can find some money for “Dirty-Hands” Deluca to get some remedial reading comprehension help?

We know how you must be feeling, “Dirty-Hands.” There’s $41 million dollars out there being contested–your shenanigans at the voting and your plotting and conspiracies might all fall apart if the NYSED decides there was some hanky-panky–then where will you and your Coeymanazis be? It’s understandable you’re gettting desperate and are trying anything now to get rid of the opposition and get a majority that can make all of the decisions on spending and policy that the Coeymanazis want. But Dang it! You couldn’t get rid of RK, JL, or JV…but you’re still trying! The very residents you managed to deceive are now coming out and asking, “I voted but I didn’t vote for this!” You’re certainly not going to take the blame, are you? Hell No! Fraud! Has Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca opened up the door for renewed attention to his conflicts of interest and wierd operations from his so-called Deluca Public Affairs or his relationships with the Department of Environmental Conservation, or the Automotive Recyclers Association of New York (ARANY), or the Main Street Small Business Coalition, and others, which may be connected with no difficulty to his employment as a so-called “police investigator” with the Coeymans Police Department and some interesting connections with a certain local family that has been ruling the RCS community for more than 30 years! Jerry “Dirty-Hands” Deluca doesn’t have the good sense or the brains to keep the ole cake hole shut or the can of worms he opens might just be flesh eaters and he’s on the menu! (But I don’t think even the worms would accept an invitation to dine on toxic pork belly!) But, Jerry, don’t you want to come clean on your own conflicts of interest?

We’ll answer any questions on the real interpretation of the conflict of interest laws but first we’ll make really short work of “Dirty-Hands” Deluca’s misinformation: All the board member has to do is recuse himself from any decision-making process involving potential conflict of interest relating to a contract (a  notice of claim is nota contract, stupid, and even a judicial complaint would be hard to define as being a “contract”. Dorkus maximus!). Recusal is the appropriate action . Period, Jerry!

Maybe if we didn’t have such a tainted and corrupt county district attorney’s office someone would be looking at Deluca. But we expect that the State Attorney General and, we know the Assembly, after our inquires, have been keeping tabs. You wanna explain “conflict of interest” one more time for us, Jerry? And what’s Cathy Long Deluca been up to lately? Any contracts? What’s that you were saying about “conflict of interest” and contracts and, didn’t you mention “spouse.” You are married to Cathy Long Deluca, aren’t you? That would make her your “spouse,” right? Glass swimming pools and throwing stones again? Won’t you two ever learn?

It’s also not surprising that search as I may, I just can’t find a photo or an image of the Coeymans Town Trailer? Can it be that it’s such a gem of the Hudson Valley, such an Objet d’Art that they need to keep it a secret?

Or is it, more accurately, because it’s such a den of corruption and iniquity that only those poor bastards unfortunate enough to have to appear there and be humiliated by the ignorant but arrogant town justices, an ex-cop and a former cafeteria manager, or abused by the hirelings of Coeyman’s police department chief Gregory Darlington and his troupe of  sadist pervert investigators and Albany PD rejects (McKenna and Johnson, included). I’d go for this latter option.

Moreover, it’s really unfair to even use the term “trailer trash” when discussing the town hall thugs. Trash they are but it’s doing a terrible injustice to those poor persons whom the elite disparagingly call “trailer trash.” There’s plenty of so-call “trailer trash” who would put the community élite to abject shame in terms of morality, virtues, values, and ethics. So, understand that I am using the term “trailer trash” in it’s most literal form, not in the manner that the hypocrites might use it to disparage persons less fortunate than themselves.

Now That I Have Your Undivided Attention…

That may at first blush sound pretty uncharitable and it probably is if you don’t think about it. But that’s the problem: You simply don’t THINK about things; more accurately, you don’t REFLECT on things, and you really ought to.

It’s only natural… that when someone comes and stirs up the scum in your pool you’re going to get pissed because the scum is stirred up, not because you were negligent and didn’t do what was necessary, the work, to keep it clean. Same thing for your community.

It’s only natural…that when you find that someone is pointing out your fat ass, and mentioning that it means trouble for your overall health that you become indignant at being called “fat,” and curse the person for the insult. But you know you’re fat and you know you eat unhealthfully and you know you don’t exercise enough but still, he called you “fat.” Same thing for your community, you know what’s wrong but you decide to live with it, deny it, work around it, and then you’re pissed because someone tells you something’s wrong and that you can fix it…if you care to.

It’s only natural… that you should all rise up and complain: “All teachers aren’t greedy!” Or “All teachers aren’t bullies, there are some very good ones.” You cry this out but you don’t also take into consideration that teachers, police, doctors, judges, men and women elected to public office are all in a special position in society; they want special respect but in return society holds them to a higher standard. Either they tow the mark or they go.

You want to wear crown? Well…

These privileged statuses also want to do their own dirty laundry, take care of their own. And so, when it becomes public that there are bad apples in the barrel, it becomes the task of the good apples to clean up the bad ones…or they can be included in the bad bushel, too. You want to wear the crown and wield the authority, enjoy the perks, do the dirty work guys and gals; clean up your litter boxes.

Find’em and Fix’em

It’s only natural….that because it was YOU who elected them to their privileged statuses that you will get pissed and want to kill the messenger when it becomes obvious that you or those to whom you have delegated your decision-making authority have put jerks in those power positions. But rather than kill the messenger, why don’t you bite the bullet and lay down the rules for the perps and pervs; you put them where they are and you can kick them out. Why do you let yourselves be silenced by those at the head table? Remind them that they are public servants, not tyrants!

Caught cookie-handed!

So you’ve been caught with your hand in the cookie jar?  It’s really humiliating for the crook to be found out and actually be called a crook. And it’s those types that get the angriest and the most vindictive when found out. Rather than ask forgiveness, seek reconciliation and change their ways (turn around), they retaliate. Same thing in the community: You call the crook a crook and he lashes out at everyone within reach. Low self-esteem is a very volatile condition and that’s what makes bullies, student bullies, street bullies, teacher bullies, cop bullies. But if the community were to have done its duty and if the community were to be a moral example and conduct its business ethically, Guess what!? Most of these uncomfortable situations could and would have been avoided.

Morality is a question of character; ethics is a question of what you do. If you are a liar or a cheat, that is immoral, it is a question of character: your character is who you are. Character doesn’t happen overnight, my friends, it starts as behavior that becomes habit that becomes character, the person. It is your character that governs what you do, when you do it, and why you do it. So, if your character that of a liar or a cheat, your ethics is that of lying and cheating. Your character is you; your ‘you’ doesn’t change unless you truly do something about it.

We can only hope that more Laszlo Polyaks, more Donna Pasquinis, more Ann Marie Vadneys, more Jerry Bogardis, more Pam Powells come forward and speak out like those citizen residents do on a consistent basis. Only then will this community be able to rid itself of the tyrany of the Jerry Delucas, the Gregory Darlingtons, the Donna Hommels, the McTigues, the Matt Millers, the Bartletts, the James Latters, the Josephine O’Connors. Only when the community spirited among you become the role models can you take back control of your lives, property, children; the fearful and anxious majority in this community must shake off the fear and anxiety and return to controlling your lives and your destinies.

Please don’t misunderstand what I am teaching here. I’m not calling for lynch mobs, for banning, exiling, or ostracizing anyone but what I am preaching is that some really tough love might be in order for you to forgive, not forget, and to reconcile or not to reconcile with those individuals who have blackened and darkened this community and kept you silent all these years. It’s time to call out the bullies and to discipline them; its time for fair play, justice and fairness. It’s time to put them outside the community and allow them back into the community only after their moral and ethical lesions have been cleansed and are no longer a threat of infection to the rest of us.

It’s time to teach–not just talk about–the lost values of honesty, integrity, charity, simplicity, respect, humility, and generosity, teach those values to the children you all claim to love and cherish; why then do you expose them to indoctrination, propaganda, and indecent role models? They’re your flesh and blood; you have to fill them with morality, good ethics, and love. Smiles covering fear and anxiety just won’t work; nor will convincing them that sacrifice is a bad thing. Teach them good judgment not simply judgment.

Do A Family Virtue Pick!

Listening and watching the videos of public meetings you hear trembling voices, high-pitched tension, you see downcast eyes, suspicious, defensive  body language. People these are not the signs of a happy hobbit community; these are signs you’d expect to see in a concentration camp! Look at yourselves!

When self-interest and self-preservation lock horns and complacency becomes the only coping strategy, there’s no compelling religious, spiritual, civic alternative–community evaporates and each one of you becomes an island with only the delusion of freedom in community.

We are going to give the RCS Central School District a bit of  a respite for the time being; we are going to give the community the opportunity to step up to the plate and to help itself, to file their complaints with the New York State Education Department, the Office of the Attorney General, and other authorities,  and give those authorities some time to show their colors and to do their jobs,  investigate, audit, discipline. There are fish to fry in the town hall and in the police department; we’ll busy ourselves with them in the next several weeks. Stay tuned!

The Times Union Blog Page On The RCS Vote Apparently Doesn’t Like My Comments, While Printing Every Perverse Sort Of Blather Possible, The Vast Majority Of Which Has Nothing To Do With The Topic, And Simply Is Mutual Bloodying Exchanges Between Disembodied Misfits

So the Times Useless doesn’t like what I have to say. Who gives a flying waffle, anyway! I even wonder why I bothered to share anything with that putrid rag in the first instance. But I did…Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa! So I’m a candidate for the DumbAss Award (that reminds me: We are awarding that this week…stay tuned!).

The Times Useless’ Star Reporter

With the daily numbers on this blog–three days straight we’ve topped the all-time single-day Readers figures and are now more than 1000 readers a day! On Tuesday, May 15th, more than 1450 readers visited the Smalbany blog. Thank you very much! The Times Useless site had less than 90 at the time, and most of those by a handful of sadomasochists pleasuring one another with back-and-forth parrying, inflicting minor mental lacerations so the actual number was probably 1/4 or even 1/5 of that 90, probably a maximum of 15 or 16 actual individuals, assuming they didn’t change their screen names multiple times, which is something that happens a lot.

You’re probably seething to know what I wrote that the Times Useless found objectionable and not on a par with the overall Neanderthal-quality of the other contributors? Far be it from me to keep you drooling…here are my comments:

After reading some of these comments I occurs to me that they are very likely authored by a group of adolescents from the RCS high school who had attempted to pose as adults and comment on the Smalbany blog. The immaturity shows through as does almost identical wording of some of the comments; identical to comments that were disallowed on the Smalbany blog and TRASHED.  (They’ve obviously found a new home on the Times Useless blog.) Despite numerous warnings not to visit the blog and especially NOT to leave comments, they have tried every name in the book to get around it but their IP addresses give them away every time. Two arch delinquents are Timothy HOUGHTALING and Seamus MOONEY…two obnoxius little worms with egos bigger that the words they misuse. Here “JustTheFacts” would be a prime candidate for one of the RCS unparented, unschooled delinquent children.

Depite numerous warnings and requests to their principal Brian Bailey to intervene and help them to avoid a misdemeanor harassment charge, and to get their parents involved in parenting these two future criminals, they continue to ignore the warnings.

They repeatedly refer to idiotic social media sites for their facts and continue to disseminate their idiotic drivel and speculations. There’s an entire page dedicated to their initial attacks in which one of the gang, some Karen Rachael, even states that “their teachers were there laughing” while they were making their foul comments on the blog. That said it all for me regarding the RCS teachers and their teachers association.

You know when a brainless adolescent is writing when you see names named and they can’t possibly be sure. Moreover, their sources are reminiscent of the addled ravings of one Joan Ross, an Albany transplant bored-as-hell-wannabe-sophisticate of New Baltimore, who out of the one side of her face would recruit her New Baltimore neighbors for her activist causes and then, after a drink or two, delight in demeaning them and calling them “newbaltimorons.” Same perverse logic: Please accept me, if you don’t I’ll try to destroy you. Purest narcissism.

“Thugs,” indeed! If you’ve read my article on the Pieter B. Coeymans PTO and the group of Coeymanazis taking aim on constitutional dissent, freedom of speech and opinion, and bullying the businesses who DARE to have an opinion (Thank you RJ DEsposito, Marlene McTigue, Sarah Berchtold Engel (a subject for NYSED moral conduct complaint), Donna Leput Hommel, and the Pieter B. Coeymans PTO FaceBook gang), you’ll  know the mentality of that bunch. But the commentor mentions “vote with your checkbook and boycott!”  Now that’s a reall pro-business, pro-community bit of advice, isn’t it? Real AMERICAN, too, if you have an opinion, we’ll punish you! The incarnation of the Pieter B. Coeymans PTO slogan, ““We are the PTO of Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary, A place to learn and grow.” Now…easy does it…get that foot into your mouth…you’re doing fine… (I know it’s hard to see what you’re doing when you have your head so far up your ass!)

So, after seeing that and even before my first comment was apparently trashed, I submitted a comment in response to a previous commentor who suggested that “This needs to be investigated,” referring to his/her drug-induced delusions (ironically this very same commentor uses the handle “Sanity,” that has to be the poor soul’s most severe delusion!).

My comment reads:

Yes! I agree. It does need investigating DESPERATELY. Especially the criminals who are deceiving the public in the secret meetings and the biased news media; or by not publishing the necessary facts; the criminals who are [fired by other departments and], Coeymans police officer McKenna, hired to the Coeymans Police Department by Gregory Darlington despite being found guilty of 9 counts of misconduct, lying to and misleading his supevisors, and fired by the Albany Police Department; the Coeymanazi Jerry Deluca (Deluca-Darlington’s Darling), who harasses women candidates and intimidates residents, the adulterer who was caught in flagrante delicto and now is a reader and a churchgoer at Saint Patrick’s RC in Ravena (Sundays only! Lies? Sorry, but all of this comes straight from publicly available documents and resources. For example the Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement forced on the RCS BoE by the special-interest (teachers union) majority (teachers and teachers spouses, still on today’s ballot + 2) that was never published because it would have gotten the teachers union lynched! So far only 4 visitors to this TU site have visted the Smalbany blog. Why would that be? more than 90 comments here, quite a few speculating on who the blogger is etc. but out of those 90 only 4 have moved their asses to see for themselves. Pitiful but predictable.

After that comment disappeared from the blog…the Times Useless is probably going to take that information and do some stories, taking credit for the research. I wouldn’t put it past them!

It’s getting pretty obvious that when Beavis and Butthead don’t have anything better to go on, they pick a name, any name, rip it to shreds and then find another. No issues, just factoids and names. No constructive suggestions, just factoids and names.

Say, for instance, you feel that something is wrong or fact is being misrepresented. Do you leave a comment at the source? Hell no! Why do that? You might get an answer to your question. It’s far better to scoot around and attack from the rear, right. Then you’re sure of getting your rocks off with a sucker punch! That’s how things are done by the RCS mob…from behind!

What I find particularly symptomatic and idiotic is that the topic of this site is the RCS CSD 2012-2013 school budget vote and other budget items, plus the BoE elections but what you people have been doing is mauling one another, picking on anyone who has the balls to come out and express themselves, and very pitifully few of you have any hard facts. You’re apparently a bunch of turdologists!

What’s even more disgusting is that a few of you have taken aim on individuals whom you feel have such immense power that they are the only ones with the leadership ability who will move the NO! side to defeat the budget! Do you really think that by slandering, libeling a couple of individuals you’ll make your point. The only thing that will defeat one side or the other is the people, the vote! Are you that ignorant of the issues and the real problems in the RCS district and the town of Coeymans that you need to pick easy targets because your atrophied inbred brains can’t handle the bigger issues. You need physical solid targets because you can’t handle the abstract! Or can it be that you are so desperate and so full of anxiety you think you’ve been slighted and need to retaliate, or that you’re so frightened you need to get the first shot, or that you’re next on the exposed list? Good Lord, do you need counseling! If only self-esteem came in a bottle; I’d have a market in the RCS district that would make me superrich overnight!

And what can we read in all of these idiotic handles and fake names. Doesn’t that in itself speak volumes?

So some of you fantasize that you  have done the world a real public service, have you, by unveiling the identity of the mystery blogger of RCS. OK. So you [think] you know who Fides qua Creditur is? That means that this was written by me, FqC; you claim you know who that is so I’m really not using a pseudonym; I’ve been outed. Are you going to come out now, too?

I hope I didn’t prematurely give away the coming issues to be prosecuted in the near future but if I did, well, c’est la vie; c’est la guerre!…since this writing the 2012-13 school budget has passed so there might still be a foreign language curriculum at the RCS high school…so I won’t translate the French 😉
