No News Like Old Smear: Times Union Responds

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

True to Form and to its Questionable Ethics and Pulp-Fiction  Journalism, The Times Union (Hearst Corporation) of Albany, New York, Is Scraping for a Story to Save Face and, Apparently, to Curry Favor with Its Local Minions.

All they have is STRAWMEN and straw! And don’t think for a minute that the Times Useless or any of the Scoundrels Feeding it the Sleeze and Smear Have this Community’s Interests at Heart; Hell No! They’re Feeling the Crunch of this Blog and their Only Possible Way Out is to Smear…And Do Something Cowards Do Best: Grasp at Straws!

We haven’t seen the Times Useless smear yet but we’ve heard about it. But we already published the same material several weeks ago; maybe the Times Useless can’t read. But Don’t Be Mistaken! They’re Not Dealing With Some Poor Bastid Who Can’t Fight Back or Won’t. If It’s War You Want…Bring It On! We’ve Got the Ammunition and the Troops! They’re on the RUN and like all rats, get real nasty when cornered!

But as the I Ching teaches, ‘always leave the enemy a retreat route.’ Here’s how: You Coeymanazis and members of the Deluca Losers Club can behave–and save– yourselves by finally acting like adult socialized and civilized human beings, something most of you in the opposition may not be very good at but if you give it a try, it just might work.

Ethics! What ethics?
The Teresi Legacy

In the meantime, we’ll be publishing the Geneology of Corruption that is the history of Ravena-Coeymans and stretches into the power centers of the Albany County administrations and even into the New York state court system, even the New York state Supreme Court. The players cover the entire alphabet from B-Biscone to W-Warner, and everything in between! 25 years of corruption and finagling and a New York State Supreme Court judge, who rose from village attorney to new heights while milking the locals for everything, and now his son is doing the same! We’ve acquired a stack of incriminating documents that we’ll soon be publishing: “Of Incest and Banjos!”

Gee! Was it something I said?

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

The Times Union, Including Its Blogs, Continues to be the Scatological Source in the Capital Region. It’s now the home to about 15-20 Sadomasochists Who Banter and Batter Each Other in About 105 Lunatic Comments.

And You Do, Times Union!

The majority of the Times Useless RCS School Budget blog appear to be schizophrenics, each part of their schizoid brains using a different pseudonum and talking to the other part; they’re literally talking to the voices in their heads. And what’s even more hilarious is that these same looney toons have assumed oxymoronic names like “Sanity,” “Positivity,” and “RCSLady.” It’s a really popular blog (NOT!)and they have all of about 100 comments since May 2nd!  Being a care-provider by nature and training, I tried to engage them in conversation but the Times Useless blog moderator keeps deleting my comments. Was it something I said? Should I feel hurt about this? Here’s my most recent comment that, like the others (see my article: Times Union Doesn’t Like My Comments…) it disappeared while in moderation:

Let’s do some math. OK? There are about 12-15 commentors on this [the Times Useless] blog; some of you with multiple handles to make the impression that there are more of you. We’ve seen it all before; that lunatic Joan Ross in New Baltimore has found a new sandbox to litter in, and that psycho-delinquent-lurker comment-troll Tim Houghtaling (he’s still ignoring the warnings) does the same thing on the Smalbany blog. The Smalbany blog has almost 21,000 readers in about 1-1/2 months. We’d say that that’s not all that paltry for a blog of very local intererst, wouldn’t you? And the comments are all very positive; sure there are a few negatives but this blog seems to have the monopoly on bellyaching and negativity. Mostly because it’s all unsubstantiated gossip and rumor, something that would be unconditionally disallowed on the Smalbany blog. Most of you would have been banned long ago because you don’t make any sense! All speculation, accusation, rumor-mongering. At least most of the Smalbany blog people use their own names!

When you can’t handle abstracts and you are confused by the concepts, the ignorant automatically attack the person–ad hominem is what it’s called–it’s the lowest form of debate, and that’s what’s going on here. You’re not functioning with intellect, your flooding each other with infantile emotions. Grow up! Grow a pair! Wake up or shut up! Deal with the facts; offer some documentation, cite some sources (besides your lunatic pen pals). If you’re so worried about who the blogger is and are so concerned about his/her using his/her real name, don’t you think it a bit incredible that you all are doing exactly what you complain the blogger is doing: you’re all hiding behind fake names! Why is that, we wonder? You call the blogger a “coward” but what does that make you?

Furthermore, if you think you have such strong arguments, why don’t you just make a good argument in a comment for the Smalbany blog…not a rant…an intelligent comment. Try using your real name and let some of the 20000+ readers take a stab at it. That’s a challenge, everyone, go for it!

If you don’t have the URL for the blog, here it is: Smalbany.

Write a sensible, cogent, factual comment and handle the feedback. That’s something new for you! Use your real name, for once, and show the blogger that you can put your “principles” where your mouths are. Try it and we’ll hope it becomes habit.

My bet is that you’ll avoid the challenge–especially because the blog is restricted to adults and warns students and minors to leave immediately. I suspect many of you are the RCS students who have been banned from the blog.

Peace!

P.s. The Smalbany blog is really quite well done and well written. Several of the local television anchors have commented positively about it. It counts among its visitors the NYSED, the Albany County DA’s office, the FBI, BOCES, many local residents, and a growing number of international visitors. It’s putting RCS on the map! Isn’t that great, people!

Peace!

We did manage to go to the Times Useless archives and find a group photo of the Times Useless blog commentors. You may recognize one or two of them from the RCS teachers association or the general area.

Times Useless Commentors.
Do you recognize any of them?

Well, there is a positive side to this: At least those crazies have  found a place where they can really feel at home, and the Times Useless has a readership of its own. We can be grateful they’re not here!

Clinically Speaking…

When I originally started this blog, I intended to cover a much wider area and range of topics. It seems, though, that in Ravena-Coeymans, I can find all the material I need. I don’t really know if that is a compliment or not.

Ever try working together?

I may have written that I have no interest in what is playing out in the RCS Board of Education meetings and that might have been a bit of a fib. Once I established that there was a problem, and a problem there is, I began reviewing the videos that are published on the Internet, and I have found them to be a rich source of clinical material, indeed.

A couple of weeks ago I presented a presentation on crisis intervention and conflict management to a group of graduate students at a local college, and one of the topics in my lecture was the emotional element involved in conflict, specifically the unconscious emotional contagion that can occur. As I watch, study, and analyze the speakers in the videos, I sure wish I had known of them when I was preparing my lecture. They are must-see’s for a clinical course in crisis intervention and conflict management.

You see, the speakers are in crisis and there is a major conflict that needs managing or it’s going to tear you all apart. But do you realize it? I wonder.

Problem is, most people in conflict enter into a phase called “simplification” where the issues are either too unwieldy or there are too many issues, so you simplify things down to what you can handle. It’s natural but not very helpful. Simplification is followed by polarization, where, in order to more easily pigeon-hole things, you turn the issues into black and white, good and bad, right and wrong. That requires minimal mind work and you don’t have to get involved with details. That, too, is natural but not very helpful.

What I also see in those videos is a bunch of people who are emotionally flooded and have lost control of themselves, the issues, and the conflict; they’re spinning their wheels down to the axles.

Crybaby

I observed one woman who speaks at almost every meeting, always choked up, always befuddled, always with a neurotic squeal and breathlessness to her voice; we’ll call her Ms H. At the March 27 meeting she opens her remarks with, “I’ll try not to cry this time.” Well, you try hard, honey.  Thank you! Ms H. No emotional histrionics? Would the spectators find that boring? I think Ms H. welcomes the attention, needs it in some sociopathic way.  Ms H., the choked up and weeping performance means only that you are unsure of your intellectual presentation so you need to move people with something more primitive. What you got? Emotion. No-brainer! But not very helpful.

Scared and Lonely

What about the guy, we’ll call him Mr J., again at the March 27 meeting. His bag was:  ‘Look at me! I’m a patriot!’ “I’m going to Afghanistan.” (We understand he’s Nat’l Guard and clerical, not combat.) Again, he’s not appealing to issues, he’s parading himself, probalby hoping it will give him credibility, authenticity. Maybe. But he would have been more convincing if self-control were part of the preformance. This became even more obvious when he spent a good deal of his 3 minute slot to chiding someone on the board for…NOT MAKING EYE CONTACT! Do you think you’re that pretty or interesting Mr J? One wonders if Mr J. were in love or something. But that revealed a lot about Mr J’s need for attention and recognition. I don’t believe that Mr J’s self-esteem issues were before the board that evening.

The main performers of the evening–they appear to be regular features in many of the videos–were Ms Amy Bartlett and Mr Gerald “Jerry” Deluca, who were joined with  the cameo  guest performance by Ms Cathy Deluca. (Hear the fanfare? NOT!)

There’s definitely a good deal of narcissism going on in these perps, to be sure.

This is how you come across. Really!

These performances are regularly characterized by toxic aggression in the form of unbridled criticism, insult, accusation, and brimming with Guess what? Emotional flooding!
As I have said, the videos are classic material for a clinical colloquium on conflict, but regardless of whether the performances are clinically interesting, they are being played out in a public forum and that is dangerous, indeed. For all the notoriety the performers are deriving from their public self-pleasuring, they are infecting others with their irrationality. I mentioned emotional contagion and that’s what’s happening: these irresponsible braggards are infecting others with their negative contagion. This happens, really, and it’s happening almost every time Ms. H., Ms Bartlett and Mr Deluca take the floor–and you don’t even know it’s happening because it’s happening in your unconscious minds.

Not very pretty, but it's you!

There’s also a phenomenon known as triangling. This happens when two parties are in conflict and one of the parties involves a third party. A two-party system, like Deluca and a boardmember, is unstable because it tolerates little tension before involving a third person. But a three-party system, a triangle can contain much more tension without involving yet another party because the tension can shift around three relationships. If the tension is too high for one triangle to contain, it spreads to a series of “interlocking” triangles. Spreading the tension can stabilize a system, but nothing gets resolved. That’s what I see happening.

People’s actions in a triangle reflect their efforts to ensure their emotional attachments to important others, their reactions take on too much intensity in those attachments, and the result is their taking sides in the conflicts of others. This complicates the conflict enormously. That’s exactly what’s happening in your meetings but none of you seem to care. That’s why I’m departing somewhat from my satirizing or parodying you to trying to help you with a different approach.

Actually, if I genuinely thought you wanted to resolve your conflicts or reframe your issues, I’d offer to sit down with you and mediate or intervene, but from what I can see, a couple of you are really thriving on destructiveness and would probably reject any attempt to transform your destructiveness to constructive or functional conflict. That’s really too bad, because in most systems functional or constructive conflict has a great number of positive outcomes, and serves very effectively in problem solving.

Patience is the Companion of Wisdom

But on a positive note: I am amazed at the boardmember’s patience and fortitude in the face of your aggressions, and I have to commend them all for their patience, dignity, and courtesy to you when you probably should be banned from speaking. It takes a lot of self-control to be able to say Thank you! after being unceremoneously abused by the very people you are giving up time and resources to help.

As I frequently tell clients, “It takes two to make a marriage but only one to destroy it.” It’s obvious to me that some of you are trying your damnedest to break up the party.

I’ll continue monitoring your cases and reporting back. In the meantime, thanks for the material.

Qualified Lay Minister? Says who?

Lectors and Readers: Reading and Explaining the Word of God

According to the promulgation of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) when the Scriptures are read in the Church, God himself is speaking to his people, and Christ, present in his own word, is proclaiming the gospel. The readings of God’s word must therefore be listened to by all with reverence; they make up a principal element of the liturgy.  In the biblical readings, God’s word addresses all people of every era and is understandable to them, and a fuller understanding and efficacy are fostered by a living commentary on it, that is to say, by the homily, understood as an integral part of the liturgical action (GIRM 29).(1)

Because of the importance of the Liturgy of the Word in the formation of the faithful, specific laws determine who may read. Only those who have received Holy Orders — a deacon, priest, or bishop — may proclaim the Gospel. As a rule a deacon or, in his absence, a priest other than the celebrant, should read the Gospel at Mass. If there is no deacon or another priest present, the celebrant himself should proclaim the Gospel (General Instruction on the Roman Missal (GIRM), nos. 59, 99). However, in certain circumstances, lay people may proclaim the Gospel at children’s Masses.

Regarding the other readings and the responsorial psalm, only a person properly instituted for the purpose of reading during Mass should read them. The Church first prefers a man installed into the ministry of lector to read the readings (cf. Canon 230 §§1, 2). In the absence of such a man, other laity, women included, who have received proper training and authorization as a reader may read. In the absence of either, anyone who meets the requirements established by the local bishop can be asked to read. If no one is available, the priest or deacon must read the readings.

As noted in canon 230 §1, “Lay men who possess the age and qualifications determined by decree of the conference of bishops can be installed on a stable basis in the ministry of lector.” The use of the word “vir” [Lat. “man”] in the original Latin precludes women from participating in “the stable ministry” of lector. However, paragraph two of this same canon notes that “lay persons can fulfill the function of lector during liturgical actions by temporary deputation.” According to canon 230 and liturgical law, in the absence of a man installed into the stable ministry of lector, a man or woman can be authorized to act as reader during the celebration of Mass.

The USCCB provides norms for instituted lectors: A layman who is to be installed in the ministries of lector or acolyte on a stable basis must have completed his twentyfirst (21) year of age. The candidate must also possess the skills necessary for an effective proclamation of the Word or service at the altar, be a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church, be free of any canonical penalty, and live a life which befits the ministry to be undertaken. (Complementary norm to Canon 230 §1, November 17, 1999).

In order for an individual to be regarded as “truly suited,” it is required that they be a fully initiated Catholic living in communion with the Church. Thus, a lector should have received both First Holy Communion and Confirmation, and should not be living in an invalid marriage or in any other state of grave sin. Being “truly suited” also implies the necessary native talents to serve as a lector. Thus, individuals who are not able to proclaim the readings in a clear manner that expresses the dignity of scripture may not be suited for this service in the church.

How great the arrogance when one approaches the Almighty Mystery without a clean conscience and heart!

That’s odd. I could have sworn I saw Jerry Deluca, investigator, Town of Coeymans police department,  at the lecturn, as reader, on Palm Sunday (April 1), at Church of St Patrick (Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany), in Ravena, NY. Couldn’t have been! But did anyone else see him there?

Brain Size and What It Tells Us

I’ve been reviewing some of the RCS Board of Education video recordings and  have attempted to make sense out of what Mr David Bartlett and some of the other witchhunters are driving at in their questions of a board member’s ability to uphold the provisions of the United States Constitution. Really.

Several questions arise:

Are Mr Bartlett and his supporters questioning the boardmember’s citizenship? If so, then attorney May’s response at the January 24 meeting is on target. That also raises the question of whether Mr Bartlett and his cronies would exclude from the board any person who is not a US citizen. This would, of course, include any individual in good-standing not yet having taken the citizenship oath: a foreign business person, a green cardholder, someone waiting to take the citizenship oath. That’s a very interesting suggestion, Mr Bartlett, and it would be very interesting to hear your response. If a non-citizen Canadian businessperson offered a $200,000 no-strings-attached gift to the school district, Bartlett would probably send it back because the donor is not a citizen. Go bloody figure!

The targeted boardmember is accused by his detractors of “not paying his taxes.” I would guess that most of the detractors are pig-ignorant of the actual circumstances of the case. Right? I would further guess that the majority of the detractors are pig-ignorant of the tax codes. Right? So why are these pig-ignorants opening their pie holes anyway? Every citizen and non-citizen working in the United States can contest and then appeal any provision of the tax code, including whether or not he or she is liable for a given tax. Wake up and shut up until you know what you’re talking about! The targeted boardmember is fully within his rights!

Some of the detractors have questioned why the boardmember won’t speak up. Again, shut up until you know what you’re talking about. Any statement made publicly by the boardmember relating to an issue in controversy can and probably would be refashioned and distorted and held against him. The only prudent and cautious thing to do is not to comment. Only a fool would risk satisfying the pig-ignorant with a public statement and then risk his entire standing and case. Wake up or shut up!

But what really irks me is when I hear people like David Bartlett and his ilk making comments in pulbic meetings and in the comments on some of the newspaper blogs that are so general it would take weeks to first figure out what Bartlett is asking specifically–Does he even know or is he just being a nuisance?–and once figured out, to even attempt answering the question, that is, if the question is even relevant. (Which at this point it is not!)

Mr Bartlett is specifically attacking the boardmember by referring to the boardmember’s pending tax case and the boardmember’s competence to uphold the Constitution based on what I think I hear to be (1) the pending tax case and/or (2) the boardmember’s secured party creditor status and his claim of natural sovereignty. (If you or any of your minions, Mr Bartlett,  have any questions on natural sovereignty I would refer you to John Locke and Emanuel Kant!)

The pending tax case is as normal as vanilla ice cream and is no business of the board or you, Mr Bartlett, or your co-conspirators. Period.

The fact that the board member disagrees, strongly or otherwise, with a provision of the United States Constitution is also irrelevant, as it does not affect in any way whatsoever the boardmember’s fitness or competence to serve efficaciously on the Board of Education in whatever capacity the Board deems appropriate. In a democracy, Mr Bartlett, you voluntarily  delegate some of your decision power to the officials duely elected by the majority (Or did you forget that in your minority standing?). Wake up or shut up!

If Mr Bartlett and/or his cronies were to continue the overly broad and vague accusations, they would only further add to their appearance of pig-ignorance, since they make no impression that they have any idea of what they are in fact accusing the boardmember of that obviates his competence! Neither Bartlett nor any of his chorus of sharks has stated specifically which part of the US Constitution he alleges the boardmember to be incapable of upholding. Or is it the entire US Constitution, which is idiotic even to suggest.

The Sixteenth Amendment (Amendment XVI) to the United States Constitution allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on Census results. Initially, the legislatures of the following states rejected the amendment without ever subsequently ratifying it: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Utah. Virginia.Furthermore, the legislatures of the following states never considered the proposed amendment: Florida, Pennsylvania.

While today individuals and businesses in all 50 states pay federal income tax, residents in 41 states also pay state income tax. Nine states have no state income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. The states of New Hampshire and Tennessee tax their residents only on income earned through interest and dividends.

But check this out:
Number of Americans Paying Zero Federal Income Tax Grows to 43.4 Million  And that was during 2006. At that time Tax Foundation economists estimates that roughly 43.4 million tax returns, representing 91 million individuals, will face a zero or negative tax liability. That’s out of a total of 136 million federal tax returns that will be filed. Adding to this figure the 15 million households and individuals who file no tax return at all, roughly 121 million Americans—or 41 percent of the U.S. population—will be completely outside the federal income tax system in 2006. Were you aware of that Mr Bartlett & Co?

It gets even better:

Most Companies Pay No Federal Income Tax  Two-thirds of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes between 1998 and 2005, according to a new report from Congress. That number has grown since then and we all know the local example of GE who pays NO TAX. Want to talk about the notorious 1%, the Bloombergs, Gates, and Zuckerbergs of the American “classless society?” What are you preaching about them, Mr Bartlett? Wake up or shut up!

Now, back to the Constitution: Abortion as we all know is murder and a crime against the unborn; a movement of the Culture of Death. But it’s been made legal under the United States Constitution under the due process provision of the 14th Amendment. So, Mr Bartlett, according to you any right-to-lifer would be barred from serving on the Board of Education because s/he does not support the Constitution.

Another example: Ownership of automatic weapons, assault weapons. Accoding to Bartlettian logic, anyone who advocates gun control or the ban on automatic or assault weapons cannot defend the Constitution because s/he opposes the 2nd Amendment. By that reasoning, therefore, if someone quite capable and valuable wants to serve on the BoE but opposes the 2nd Amendment right to own automatic or assault weapons s/he is ipso facto and de facto, even de jure  barred from serving. Right?

What about the religion provisions of the First Amendment? If I am following your logic, Mr Bartlett, according to you and your friends, only atheists would be eligible to serve. Right?

So, here’s a little exercise for you: Can you identify the most accurate depiction of your brain in the the image series below ?

One more to go. Now be patient:

Does this picture accurately depict the evolutionary path taken by the Constitutional wizards attacking the boardmember?

Danger! Keep away from geese!

Thank you for your participation!

You’re now officially a Constitution Defiler.

Why not just burn it, Bartlett?

Coeymans, New York: A Nest of Hypocrisy

Welcome to the Town of Coeymans

(County of Smalbany), New York

Coeymans Yacht Club

Town of Coeymans Ne’er-do-Goods can’t Stick to the Issues but have to Attack Friends, Family, Bystanders. Engage in Rumormongering and Cyberbullying Tactics. Former Booted School Board Members and Police Investigator’s Wife Involved. Nothing New!

Coeymans, a small town of about 850 souls, about 10 miles South of Smalbany, nestled up on the Hudson River (now being dredged to remove dangerous pollutants intentionally dumped by General Electric Company, who, as we all know, pays ZERO tax), is now the home of the new Peyton Place, a nest of hypocrisy and backstabbing neighbors.

Corruption Alert!!!

Small-town law enforcement has always enjoyed the questionable reputation of corruption but now the Coeymans police have set a new low standard with a new star, who promises to rank among the most vile of villains. Can 53-year old Gerald R. “Jerry” Deluca’s  presence be the explanation for the alleged leaks of confidential information from the police department to the press? According to one Internet source he makes a whopping $29,095 a year (source: Find the Data: New York State Employees); the median income for Coeymans is reported to be $56,659 (source: City Data.com). Must be a really gifted investigator and in demand.

Local legend has it that there was an adulterous relationship between two public figures in Coeymans, both members of the school board, and it was that scandal that got them both booted from the board. One was board president and a “detective” on the Coeymans police force and the other a board member, but their immorality and deviance got them both canned; they allegedly had to resign from the school board.

Now Gerald “Jerry” R. Deluca, an investigator in the Coeymans police department, working under the supervision of Gregory Darlington, both sworn to serve and protect the law, order and morals of the community, Deluca, formerly president of the RCS school board and obvously a feckless defender of the welfare of Ravena-Selkirk-Coeymans children and youth [LOL], and his consort then Cathy Long in her previous marriage–the word on the street is she became pregnant in her adultery and had to resign from the board–, now calling herself Cathy Deluca (make the connection yet?), are continuing their legacies of shamelessness and scandal, pointing their fingers at anyone and everyone on the RCS school board, even making attacks on their family members! (This seems to be a local modus operandi in the Smalbany area; it’s a particularly low-life way of negotiating or managing conflict, don’t you think?)

Can you pick out the on-duty Coeymans investigator?

Sidebar: The Coeymans Police Deparment sports a telling image on their Police Blotter Page called “oldlady_jail_mugshot_scared“. Now that’s great taste! But it does say something of the mentality of the Coeyman’s Police Department and their respect for the dignity of citizens.

Coeymans Police Blotter Graphic

It might appear at first glance to be “funny” in a depraved sort of way but it’s really very ugly, makes you think of a bunch of bullies, doesn’t it?  (image source: Coeymans Police Blotter).

Deluca and Deluca (Long) put the sour in “sour grapes!” Caught in their depraved sexual liaisons but not having the good taste to lay low as all good harlots and pimps do, appearing only when the sun goes down, D&D continue their depravity unabashed! Blind to their own scandal, they now seek to find scandal in everyone else, after all, how bad can adultery be, anyway? But here’s the real kicker: Guess who was elected by the residents of the RCS community to take Ms Deluca’s (Long’s) place on the board. If you guessed  Rodney Krzykowski, you’re right! Making any connections? Still wondering why they’re targeting Mr Krzykowski?

As reported in a recent Times Union article (March 26, 2012), reporter D. Roman writes: “At the Jan. 24 school board meeting, former member Cathy DeLuca, who is also the police investigator’s wife, demanded Krzykowski either resign or be suspended from the board because of his tax issues…”I’d like to know why the board has allowed Mr. Krzykowski to be purposely delinquent on his taxes for more than five years and yet sits on the finance board and on this school board,” she said.” Yeah, Ms Deluca, having back taxes sure is like getting pregnant in adultery! Right “police investigator’s wife.” Right on…keep talking.

The article continues, “No one on the board responded, and they moved on to the next matter.” Nothing like being snubbed and ignored, right Cath’.  “Let him/her who is without sin cast the first stone ” (John 8:7).  According to Holy Scripture, the punishment for adultery, a capital offence, was stoning of both parties [“If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die.” (Deuteronomy 22:22) and “If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife–with the wife of his neighbor–both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.” (Leviticus 20:10)]. While that is really a bit over the top and no one really believes that Biblical justice could or should be exacted today, I know of no mention of the “crime” of back taxes!

It’s amazing! The Times Union’s Crime Confidential: Coverage of crime and corruption in the Capital Region actually posts a piece entitled: Click this link Is adultery making a comeback? Can you imagine my surprise when I found that one. Go to the site and check out the comments; they say it all!  But, Hey! That’s Ms Roman’s moniker, Crime Confidential, isn’t it? (Check out her short TU bio at Dayelin Roman.)

Another voice chiming in with the infernal Deluca and Deluca (formerly Long) is the Bartlett pair, Amy and Dave Bartlett, friends of the Deluca pair, and apparently also co-conspirators. The Bartletts joined the Deluca woman in assailing the RCS school board, according to the Roman article.

We could ask Town of Coeymans Police Chief, Gregory Darlington about the leaks in his department or about the fitness to serve of at least one of his officers but we’d unlikely get a response; we’d more than likely get a bullying threat. We might also ask Mr Darlington about his wife’s position with Albany County D.A. David Soares office. Now back to the leaks to the Times Union and the targeting of Mr  Rodney Krzykowski. Any answers, ladies, gentlemen?

It seems to me that unless someone with some perverse sense of influence and power may have some connections with Albany and with the Times Useless this story may never have broken, but then the TU will gobble up any kind of chum to sell a page. What’s up with the local rags, the News Herald and the Daily Mail? They’re supposed to keeping tabs on these communities, not really the priority of the premier Albany rag is it? Has the News Herald and the Daily Mail suddenly run out of ink, gone deaf, dumb and blind to the real scandals in their communities?

Let’s be clear: Once word gets out to the thousands, tens of thousands someone’s going to be accountable for the injustice, the unfairness, the lack of leadership: the sewer rats that come out only under cover of darkness won’t be able to do their dirty work. Wretched little rodents!

I guess I’ll close with another citation for all of you good Jews and Christians: On the authority of the New Testament, those who must be held to higher standards and yet lead other lives, were called “hypocrites;” see Matthew 6:2, 5, 16, Matthew 15:7, Matthew 22:18, Matthew 23:13, 15, 23, 25, 27, 29, Matthew 24:51, Mark 7:6 and Luke 13:15. Need I say more?

It’s gotta get uglier before it gets better when the culprits start attacking innocent parties and bystanders–like the sitting board members’ and their families. That’s really dirty pool but it’s they way they play the game in the Town of Coeymans.

I don’t think it’s necessary to draw a picture of the connections in this hellish circle of iniquity but in Ravena/Coeymans the hypocrisy has become stuck in their genes, probably due to the adulterous inbreeding or maybe it’s the effects of GE’s toxic waste flowing by in the Hudson. Maybe Dayelin Roman, star backwoods reporter at the Times Union, might have more of all the answers?

(Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Board of Education Proceedings of 28 February 2012 can be viewed in streaming video at Public Meeting. I’d like you to watch especially for the resident who got up and complimented and profusely thanked the board for their dedication and fine work. Of course, Ms Roman of the Times Useless never mentioned that, did she?)

The Times Union Newspaper: Print Bullyism

If Albany, New York, a.k.a. Smalbany is aptly characterized as a one-horse town it’s just as accurate to characterize it as a one-source town for its news, too. When there’s an hegemony in any system, there’s abuse and it’s even more true when that power is used to misinform and to shape the public’s opinions.

The Times Union is Albany’s one-source printed news (also online, of course) and is a company of the Hearst Corporation. Heard enough yet? It gets much worse, still!

Like a huge squid pumping black ink into the waters to hide its own ugliness and to blind anything in its reach, the Times Union dominates the news scene in Albany and in its reign of tyrannical terror, has the people and the city’s institutions in a strangle hold.

The Times Useless as it’s popularly known in the area is a specialist in pulp fiction journalism and newsprint bullyism. While struggling to keep itself alive and its journalist bullies in jobs while confronted by an already illiterate public increasingly getting its information online, it epitomizes the worst in scandalous tabloid reporting and its inept journalists–from the food critics to the crime reporters–have perfected the notion of newsprint bullyism.

Times Union (Useless) Journalist at Work

Since nothing really happens in Albany–when it does it’s usually bad and the politicos and the reporters need to keep it pretty–the ace reporters at the Times Useless have to keep busy and they do manage: they usually go out and pick on some poor bastard who can’t fight back and has no voice. Why not? If you go after anything larger it’s liable to bite back or sue!

Recent case in point: One of the Times Useless’ star reporters (that’s meant to be sarcasm) obviously

Dayelin Roman - Bully-ette - and Times Useless "Crime Confidential" blogger. Pulp-fiction Journalist

had nothing to do so she, Dayelin Roman, some import from Florida turns from her backwoods assignments and sets her sights on a local pioneer spirit,  who has the cojones to stand up and fight the system (Anyone remember the Boston Tea Party? Taxation without representation?) and libels him to the point of calling him a “terrorist”! Does it matter that the people who know him best in his community chose to elect him to the school board? Hell No!  Ms Dayelin has to trash him, his reputation, and his good work. Together with a couple of local psycho vigilantes she’s out to destroy something and Rodney’s on the menu today. This is typical of what the Times Useless is doing….not to mention the fact that like the old padded wad of 20’s (remember that trick? You wrap a $20 bill around a wad of plain paper to make people think you’re loaded. Well that’s what the Times Useless does: Old news wrapped around a core of advertisements and rubbish.). Well, read the entire piece at Times Union is a Bully. Where’s Rodney supposed to go to respond? Answer: Nowhere. Bully’s knocked him flat.

Not the first time, certainly not the last time. But if Mr Rodney Krzykowski can’t fight back, some of us will stand up for him!

Stay tuned for more on the Times Useless as this blog develops.
