Coeymans: Urgent Need for Blood!!! Here’s why…

Update: An inspection of the signs we reported to be blocking visibility at the intersection of Main St/Church St (Rt 143) and Westerlo St in the Hamlet of Coeymans shows that the offending signs have been rearranged following our report. We are pleased to note that Ravena/Coeymans officials read this blog and take its advice to heart. Maybe next time the geniuses will use their heads and save some trouble and embarrassment.

The Editor’s Summer Reading Recommendation: George Orwell’s novel, 1984. More on why in an upcoming article. View one of the original “1984” b/w film versions, made in 1956, at [click on the link ⇒]  “Original 1984” (or an original b/w version made in [click on the link⇒] “1954 1984“)or the trailer for the 1984 remake at [click on the link⇒] 1984 “1984”. The movie is incredibly prophetic and wakes us up to what’s actually happening today! Watch it or read the book and let us know what you think!

George Orwell’s 1984. Written in 1948, 1984 was George Orwell’s chilling prophecy about the future. And while 1984 has come and gone, Orwell’s narrative is timelier than ever. 1984 presents a startling and haunting vision of the world, so powerful that it is completely convincing from start to finish. No one can deny the power of this novel, its hold on the imaginations of multiple generations of readers, or the resiliency of its admonitions—a legacy that seems only to grow with the passage of time. How typical! Right in front of the Coeymans Firehouse/Rescue building the very hazardous intersection of Main/Church Street (RT 143) and Westerlo Street in Coeymans Hamlet, right across from the Pieter B. Coeymans elementary school and right in front of the Coeymans Fire Company, some bunch of morons have cluttered the corner with signs that make it virtually impossible to see oncoming traffic on Main Street! Of course they need more blood! Do you think they could obstruct visibility any more completely?

We'd to know who the morons are who have cluttered this already hazardous intersection! Is this job security for the Coeymans Fire Department and the Rescue Squad? Do you wonder that they urgently need blood?

We’d to know who the morons are who have cluttered this already hazardous intersection! Is this job security for the Coeymans Fire Department and the Rescue Squad?
Do you wonder that they urgently need blood?

Considering that Coeymans has a Coeymans Fire Company and Coeymans Rescue Squad. And considering that Coeymans has a police department, it’s incredible that none of these “public safety” groups has had the brains to remove these signs from the intersection to allow motorists to have a clear view of traffic and to safely enter Main/Church Street (Rt 143)! What a bunch of clowns!

Well, now the problem arises for Coeymans residents that when an accident does happen, and the lawsuits start coming in, we can safely say that the town of Coeymans’ liability will be invoked because of its stupidity and indifference in allowing the signs to be placed in such a position as to obstruct visibility and to adversely affect motorist safety. We’ll be watching.

Who are the morons who put all those signs on that corner, we’d like to know! And PUHLEEZ get some class; Coeymans Landing Celebration on the back of a cardboard box?!?! Can’t you people afford to at least get a piece of sign board? What a bunch of hicks!

Coeymans gets the Dumbass Award this time!

Stay tuned! We’ll be publishing the scandalous abuse of the public trust by the Ravena village board and their presumption to give themselves full healthcare benefits at the cost of thousands a month. How dare they be so arrogant and irresponsible to give themselves full-time benefits for a fraction of part-time work! Stand by for our full report.

runningBoundaries change or should change as we evolve through creation history. After the fact we act horrified, scandalized, disbelieving when we recall– or are reminded — of the abuse inflicted on others considered to be different from humankind: the attempted extermination of European and East-European Jews by the Nazis, the enslavement of African people by European, Arab and American entrepreneurs, and the slaughter of Christian people for for their religious beliefs. Let us not forget the Armenian holocaust and the killing fields of Cambodia, or the Palestinian scandal that has left millions without a true home for more than 50 years. Laws now forbid discrimination based on gender, race, religion, physical or cognitive challenges, age, and sexual orientation. Yet just a century ago, human beings, women and people of color, Chinese, Italians, Irish, Sikhs, Catholics, Jews in the United States, who were seen as different by those with power faced discrimination, imprisonment, lynching, torture, exploitation, and death. Life is life, human or animal, and is a gift to be respected and cherished; it’s not a choice to respect it, it’s a duty, an obligation!

We feel that this entire event is the epitome of irresponsibility not only on the part of Gem Farms but also on the parts of the county, state, and local law enforcement. Not only were 15 magnificent animals senselessly and wantonly massacred, a bunch of gun-tottin’ yahoos were allowed to play “buffalo hunter” in the most cowardly way imaginable while our taxpayer dollars were wasted on law enforcement helicopters and equipment, and law enforcement personnel who stood by and watched.

For those of you with any conscience, sensitivity or sense of humanity or civic responsibility, we urge you to contact the following animal rights organizations to lodge your protest of how Gem Farms conducted their business, how they dispatched the yahoos and their guns, and how the animals were senselessly slaughtered when there were clearly other avenues to manage the problem. How Morally Depraved Can Cathy Deluca, Misuraca’s Village Board, Be?

deadhorseWill Misuraca and his Mooselets on the Ravena village council ever wake up? At the November 18, 2014, public meeting that had all of six people attending (at least 3 of them village employees) here’s what you would have heard: No one seems to have gotten a monthly report from Cathy Deluca on the Fitness Center. Misuraca, Warner looking stupid and having to admit no one got a report (while village council member Joel Coye sits chewing and picking his nose on camera! What’s he chewing? Yuck!). But Nancy Warner announced that the Fitness Center is planning to send out brochures to attempt to get members! IDIOTS! It’s almost two years and the Ravena Health and Fitness Center is still FAILING! Wake up! Smell the coffee (or the bullshit, which is getting pretty strong)! But you’re still beating the dead horse! How long is Misuraca and his crew going to let this thing go on? Late November, just before the Winter holidays is no time to be sending out brochures for a fitness club! Go figure! They put the “R” in RETARDS!

Several weeks have passed since the Ravena News Herald printed their article on the fact that Cathy Deluca’s playpen, the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, has been hemorrhaging more than $6,000 a month of Ravena taxpayers’, property-owners’ dollars. But that’s where it all stopped, it seems. Our question is:

How Morally Depraved is Cathy Deluca and Ravena Mayor William Misuraca’s Village Board?

MORAL DEPRAVITY HAS A HOME IN RAVENA

MORAL DEPRAVITY HAS A HOME IN RAVENA
And it sits on the Ravena village council and runs the Ravena Health and Fitness Center

This blog has been exposing the corruption and criminality surrounding the creation of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center and the corrupt and criminal way that the Bruno-Warner village board lied their way into creating a non-competitive civil service position for Cathy Deluca. The fact that Bruno and Warner did everything they could to ensure that their appointee, Deluca, got the position and no one else even had a chance at it was no big deal to expose. We did it right here and we embarrassed the Albany Department of Civil Service and Albany County into giving the director of the Albany Department the boot. But Ravena has no pride and no morals so Cathy Deluca got the position, got the exempt non-competitive classification, she even “Interneted” her credentials (unqualified but receiving her salary at YOUR expense), still bamboozling the Civil Service morons into allowing her to keep the position. If you or I tried even half of that sort of criminal lying and fraudulent misrepresentation, we’d be in Albany County jail — or worse — but Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca and Gregory Darlington go Scott free and can collect fat pensions at our expense while Cathy Deluca pockets more than $30,000 a year in salary plus full benefits to waste $6,000 a month of Ravena taxpayers’ dollars! Doesn’t anyone see what’s wrong with this picture?!?

Cathy Deluca even lied her way out of criminal proceedings when here husband, Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca, then still with the Coeymans police department, bullied Coeymans police officer Jason Albert, with the blessing of then police chief Gregory “Dumplington” Darlington, into burying the investigation of Cathy Deluca’s misdemeanor lying to a police officer, when she tried to fraudulently incriminate a local resident! That was a misdemeanor on Cathy Deluca’s part, and obstruction of justice by Darlington and his sockpuppet Jason Albert but Darlington got to “retire” (in lieu of prosecution? Will Darlington’s wife, Leah Darlington, a secretary in race-card-player Albany County DA David Soares‘ office type out the warrant?) and Albert got an “attaboy” promotion to detective! So much for respect for the laws of this state and nation: The biggest criminals are the law enforcement officers and their spouses! But with a new police chief and pressure from the community, not to mention literally dozens of unresolved complaints and pending lawsuits against the Coeymans p.d. and individual officers, justice may still be served. Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks, months.

Our stats show that Leah Darlington or someone in the Albany County District Attorney’s office is spending taxpayer dollars wisely: between November 16 and November 19, that person visited this blog 68 times, spending several hours total here! Thank you! Albany County DA P. David Soares, for hiring a Darlington to misuse taxpayer money!

But even if you don’t take the time to search this blog and re-read the many articles we’ve written for you exposing the Delucas, the Warners, the Darlingtons, the Coeymans police department’s obstruction of justice and other civil violations and criminal acts and negligence, you can’t overlook the fact that at least SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS are being wasted every month, and neither Cathy Deluca nor the Ravena Village Board have the decency to put a stop to it.

Who can deny the glaring facts that:

Mayor "Moose" Misuraca thought he was getting this...

Mayor “Moose” Misuraca thought he was getting this...

  • Cathy Deluca to Nancy Warner: Do this! The Moose loves it!

    BUT he got this, instead!
(Cathy Deluca to Nancy Warner: Do this! The “Moose” loves it!)

Cathy Deluca was personally selected by former mayor John Bruno and his sidekick Nancy Warner to have the Ravena Health and Fitness Center. Hasn’t anyone asked what favors were being repaid by Bruno and Warner? Why no one else, maybe someone qualified, was given the opportunity to apply — even if it would be hopeless?

  • Why did former mayor John Bruno and village trustee Nancy Warner conspire to not only hand Cathy Deluca the position as manager of the Ravena Health and Fitness Center, but went to extraordinary trouble to fabricate an application made to the Albany County Civil Service Department — the application was incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent — to get her a non-competitive classification, exempt from any examination, full benefits, etc.
  • Cathy Deluca knew then and still knows that she’s killed two private health and fitness clubs before she was handed the Ravena Health and Fitness Center but she still took the opportunity to prove she could kill yet another one. Don’t any of you think that that is morally depraved? Criminal on Deluca’s part, to knowingly take a position she knew she couldn’t handle and now, after two years of screwing around, is proving she can kill yet another business, this time one belonging to the public.
  • Don’t you think it’s morally depraved of Ravena Mayor William “Moose” Misuraca, and his Ravena village council, to allow this to go on without finally putting a stop to it? They even admitted publicly that if a business were losing that kind of money that any sensible and responsible manager would shut it down. Why hasn’t Mayor William Misuraca and his village council morons locked the doors on the Ravena Health and Fitness Center?

And Why Haven’t Any of these Crooks and Frauds been Charged, Prosecuted, Punished?

Maybe Ravena Mayor William “Moose” Misuraca, the director of the Albany County Department of Civil Service John Marsolais, Coeymans police chief Peter J. McKenna, or Albany County DA P. David Soares can offer a satisfactory explanation for that burning question!

But the worst shame and blame still falls on Cathy Deluca’s head! She knows shes stealing taxpayer money. She knows she’s unqualified to make the Ravena playpen work. She knows that Ravena can’t sustain a business that can’t compete. She knows that the village of Ravena should not be running a business that can’t compete. But she has no morals! She has no ethics! She has only her sow’s belly full of greed! Her only objective is to take as much as she can suck out of this community and then…STOP HER IN HER DIRTY TRACKS!

And do you wonder for a second why Annette Demitraszek and Kristine Biernacki, Bruno appointees and Warner sock-puppets, who are supposed to be village clerks and public servants, refuse to respond to any demand under the New York State Freedom of Information Law by refusing to provide public access information, information that the public has a right to know, about the Ravena Health and Fitness Center? If they let the information out they feel they’ll all land in jail! Unless they disclose the information, there’s a Notice of Claim waiting to be served, and a lawsuit waiting to be filed. They may all have a date with the corrections system before this is over!

Ravena needs a Health and Fitness Center like a Bull Needs Tits!

Coeymans: Illegal “Work Zone” Signs and Unlawful Threat of Fines?

Driving down Rt 144 southbound into Coeymans, or northbound towards the Port of Coeymans, you may have noticed numerous work zone signs along the road and sometimes even flagmen. You may have also noticed that there are signs warning that exceeding the speed limit in work zones will result in doubled fines if convicted. On further investigation it seems that all of this is unlawful and very likely illegal, since neither Carver Companies nor the Port of Coeymans have the authority to post “work zone” or speed limit signs on a public roadway, and certainly do not have the authority to threaten motorists with doubled fines! And the town of Coeymans must enact ordinances, regulations or local laws to temporarily create work zones or speed limit restrictions [they haven’t].

Are these signs and the threat of double fines unlawful, even illegal?

Are these signs and the threat of double fines unlawful, even illegal?

Are these signs unlawful and illegal?

First of all, there is no public service or utility work going on in the area marked off by the signs. At least no construction or maintenance work being done by public authorities. The only construction going on is that of a private bridge over the Coeymans Creek, a bridge which itself is of dubious legality under the currently contested re-zoning in Coeymans. Furthermore, the bridge construction is not a public service nor is it a public works project, it’s private, and it cannot claim the authorities of law that apply to public works.

Since there are no public works projects, construction, maintenance, etc. going on in the area marked off by the signs and the threats, who is authorizing these signs and the “doubled fines” threat sign to be posted. Furthermore, Who is enforcing these restrictions and threats? in view of the fact that the only construction going on is private construction by Carver Laraway and Carver Companies?

And what is the work zone speed limit? Normally temporary reduced speed limits are imposed for workzones. The workzone speed limit is not posted!

Don’t those morons in Coeymans law enforcement, the Coeymans court, the Coeymans town board know about the DoT regulations and state law?

In fact, the entire so-called “work zone” is totally ignorant of state law and New York State Department of Transportation Engineering Instructions EI 08-030, incorporated into the update of chapter 16 of the Highway Design Manual (HDM). But Hey! doesn’t the town of Coeymans have a stellar police department, enlightened town justices, a brilliant highway department, a savvy code enforcement officer? Aren’t the taxpayers of the town of Coeymans paying these morons to know New York State Law and what to post, what not to post?

Furthermore, who’s the moron who thinks that anyone operating his or her vehicle through the work zone in excess of a work zone speed limit that isn’t even published is going to sit quietly when subjected to doubled fines when there is apparently no public works project going on and the only construction is a private construction project, the Carver Companies private bridge! Since when do our courts apply state law to private undertakings to enforce unlawful restrictions? The Carver Companies have no authority to impose speed limits or to enforce state laws, only duly constituted law enforcement has that authority and power.

And speaking of duly constituted law enforcement, where in hell are the Coeymans police hanging out these days? They’re certainly not serving and protecting along Rt 144 or anywhere around there. At best we see NY State Police stopping trucks but that’s just on a sporadic basis.

What we’d like to see is Coeymans police patrols enforcing the laws on the books like:

  • Heavy trucks observing the officially and lawfully posted speed limits;
  • Heavy trucks entering and leaving the Port of Coeymans and Carver Companies properties operating safely and courteously, in observance of traffic safety principles (like not pulling out in front of oncoming vehicles or waiting until faster traveling traffic passes before pulling out and having everyone jam on their brakes while the trucks meander along at 20 mph or slower)
  • How about putting some operating lights on or ticketing the drivers when they operate their trucks with no headlights even in the rain;
  • How about enforcing the law on clean, legible and if necessary lighted license plates (so that when they nearly kill us we can at least write down the license plate number in out last drops of blood);
  • How about unmarked cars observing the trucks failing to keep right? Pick a lane and stay in it maybe? Maybe the right lane?

But since the town of Coeymans is in Carver Laraway’s pocket, it doesn’t seem likely that the Coeymans police are going to start enforcing the law in the case of the heavy trucks and careless truck drivers, not unless we start setting some fires under their asses. Maybe the New York State Police and the Albany County Sheriff Department should be called in to do the job the Coeymans police are either unable or unwilling to do.

Here are some notes for those of you who are interested in the basis for our opinions. They’re from the New York State DOT Engineering Instructions and from the NYS DOT Highway Design Manual. We also quote New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law §§ 1180(f) Work Area Speed Limit.

Based on the sections below, we believe that the work zone signs, the failure to post a work zone speed limit (thus failing to provide due process and proper notice of drivers), and the doubled-fines signs are all unlawful, if not illegal. What do you think?

The New York State Department of Transportation manuals define a work zone in the following terms:

“A Work Zone is the area of a highway with construction, maintenance, or utility work activities. It is typically marked with signs, channelizing devices, barriers, pavement markings, and/or work vehicles and extends from the first warning sign to the END ROAD WORK sign.”

The “highway” is a public roadway used by the public and the “construction, maintenance or utility work activities” are public works, not private. The official documents continue:

“SPEED CONTROL METHODS
Speed limit reductions in work zones are most effective when drivers perceive the need to slow down, (whether through noticeable geometric or work-related constraints on traffic flow) and when there is regular active police enforcement of the work zone speed limit. Arbitrary speed limit reductions erode motorist’s confidence in the need for reducing speed within a work zone. Traffic speed in work zones are generally lower, regardless of posted speed limit, when work zone conditions such as flagging, variable message signs, lane shifts, lane-width reduction, radar, and enforcement exist. Engineering, education/awareness, and enforcement measures are to be used to influence motorists, promote work zone awareness, and achieve safe work zone traffic speeds.” [emphasis provided]

“Engineering Measures
Incorporating engineering measures into work zone designs will encourage drivers to safely negotiate work zones. Warning signs, advisory speeds, positive guidance, width restrictions, channelizing chicanes, and use of intelligent transportation system technologies are examples of engineering measures that can be used to slow traffic traveling through a work zone.”

There are very specific guidelines in the state DoT manuals on how flagmen should perform their functions; of course, you’d never see them doing that in Coeymans!

“Enforcement Measures
Engineering and education/awareness measures can help reduce speeds. However, active police enforcement is the most effective measure to encourage motorist’s compliance with posted regulatory speed limits and other traffic regulations within work zones. Under the 2005 Work Zone Safety Act Regulation, police services will be provided to the extent practicable within major active work zones. The need for police presence and/or enforcement should be determined as early as possible during the project design phase. Police enforcement needed for maintenance type work zones will be coordinated as early as possible with the police agency and the Regional Traffic and Maintenance Groups. All effected [sic] parties should meet prior to any active enforcement within a work zone.”

Again, it seems, Coeymans has fallen flat on their fat arses! Who is going to pay for these tax-payer supported law enforcement services when the construction is private?!? Has the town board of Coeymans met with Carver Laraway to negotiate reimbursement for enforcement services during Carver Companies’ construction projects? Now there’s a good question to ask at a Coeymans town board meeting if you want to watch them squirm!

Who's Getting Paid? We know who's paying!

Who’s Getting Paid?
We know who’s paying!

And then we have the New York State law that is referred to in the “doubled fines” signs. But it should be obvious to our readers by now that posting that sign under the current circumstances is unlawful and illegal. Any town or village justice convicting and fining under these circumstances should be brought before the New York State disciplinary commission and disbarred!

Is this unlawful and illegal?

Is this unlawful and illegal?

Here’s what §§ 1180(f) Work Area Speed Limit has to say:

“NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1180(f) permits some municipalities not otherwise authorized to establish a reduced regulatory speed limit by ordinance, order, rule or regulation for construction or maintenance work areas.

Vehicle and Traffic § 1180. Basic rule and maximum limits. (a) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing.

Regarding construction sites § 1180 (f) reads:

“…when a lower maximum speed limit has been established, no person shall drive a vehicle through a highway construction or maintenance work area at a speed in excess of the posted work area speed limit. The agency having jurisdiction over the affected street or highway may establish work area speed limits which are less than the normally posted speed limits; provided, however, that such normally posted speed limit may exceed the work area speed limit by no more than twenty miles per hour; and provided further that no such work area speed limit may be established at less than twenty-five miles per hour.”

“Every person convicted of a violation of paragraph two of … subdivision (f)… of this section shall be punished as follows:

(i) Where the court or tribunal records or enters that the speed upon which the conviction was based exceeded the applicable speed limit by not more than ten miles per hour, by a fine of not less than ninety nor more than three hundred dollars;” [Editor’s note: This is double the normal fines.]

But again, it must be clear that these provisions do not apply to private projects like Carver Companies’ bridge construction, unless the town of Coeymans has taken steps by temporary ordinance, order, rule or regulation to give Carver Companies special consideration in terms of a temporary work zone speed limit. But the town of Coeymans and the Coeymans town board have no authority to amend state Vehicle and Traffic law at their convenience to threaten motorists with unlawfully doubled fines!

Once again, the amateurs running the town of Coeymans may have set themselves up for more legal problems if any action is taken against drivers based on the above. Coeymans taxpayers, get ready to foot the bills for the lawsuits when they start coming through.

We think it's illegal and unlawful! What do YOU think?

BAM! Blonde Bimbo Coeymanazi Strikes Again: This Time a State Agency Car

Coeymans Police Officer, allegedly Danielle Crosier, Slams into a New York State official car parked in the parking lot of the Albany Motor Vehicles Office on South Pearl Street. Crosier had a minor in the car with her, the minor leaves the Coeymans p.d. car running. What in hell is going on?

Coeymanazi, RCS School RSO, Coeymans cop Danielle Crosier Strikes Again...Literally!!!

Coeymanazi, RCS School SRO, Coeymans cop Danielle Crosier Strikes Again…Literally!!!

We want Answers Mr Flach, Mr Darlington!!!!

Albany, May 20, 2014, at or about 1:45 p.m. a Coeymans Police car was observed by witnesses at the South Pearl Street Motor Vehicles office to enter the parking lot at excessive speed, and strike a New York State agency car with such force that the state car was “rocked”. Witnesses report that a female  child, blond, about 12-14 years old was seen to exit the Coeymans police car, and run towards the Family Services Building, followed by the plain-clothes driver of the Coeymans police car, who allegedly stated that she was looking at another car and that she would make her own police incident report on the accident. The accident was witnessed by a number of persons in the parkling lot of the NYS Motor Vehicle Services office and the state agency car with official plates was apparently considerably damaged. Albany Police were allegedly called to the scene. The Coeymans police car as reported by witnesses was Coeymans police cruiser No. 921, driven by a white female, blonde hair, late 20’s early 30’s in plain clothes.

Wait one! Isn’t this child endangerment? Indifference to the welfare of a child? Abuse? Isn’t this a crime? Hold on! Isn’t this a case of reckless driving, careless operation of a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment of the public? This isn’t the first time Crosier has carelessly and indifferently operated a motor vehicle. She’s put Coeymans police vehicles up on guardrails, can’t seem to be able to pick a lane and stay in it. Hell! Local humor is that if you see a police cruiser weaving and on the shoulder it’s gotta be Crosier driving it. Maybe the bimbo has brain disorder (Impossible, you’d have to have a brain for it to be disordered!). Or maybe the bimbo just can’t multitask (like walk and chew gum, drive and breath?).

The only Coeymans police officer that matches the description provided by witnesses is blond bimbo Danielle Crosier who has a long history of traffic mishaps and problems driving. But this incident takes the bimbo booby prize for absolute stupidity!!!!

Coeymans Biggest Traffic Menace, Danielle Crosier's, Most Recent Victim

Coeymans Biggest Traffic Menace, Danielle Crosier’s, Most Recent Victim

So, Mr Stephen Flach, Coeymans Town Supervisor,  (who late this afternoon on May 20, 2014, allegedly was still uninformed by the Coeymans p.d. chief dodo Darlington about the mishap), Mr Gregory Darlington, this community demands an explanation of what that loopy broad is doing chaufering a minor around in a Coeymans police vehicle. We want to know what the big rush was that she was barreling into the County Offices parking lot at allegedly excessive speed! We want to know why she pulled into a parking slot at excessive speed and lost control of the vehicle, slamming into a state vehicle with such force that she “rocked” the state car, causing considerable damage. We want to know who is investigating the accident and what steps are being taken against Crosier, who is well known for her lack of driving skills. Why was she in plain clothes? Why wasn’t the minor under adult supervision (No! We don’t consider that moron Crosier to be an adult. More of a moron, maybe, but not an adult.).

What's your estimate? $500-700 in bodywork to repair? Take it out of Darlington and Crosiers Donut Fund!

What’s your estimate? $500-700 in bodywork to repair?
Take it out of Darlington and Crosiers Donut Fund!

We have received information that Crosier was transporting the minor to county family or youth services at the time of the accident. We have also been informed that Crosier assured witnesses that she, Crosier, would be making the police incident report herself. Can you imagine the nerve, the arrogance, for that dipsy bimbo to be making out her own police incident report on a careless accident like that. We have also been informed that the Albany Police were called to the scene to investigate, and we are waiting for details on what followed.

[Editor’s Note:  On May 21, 2014, at about 9:30 a.m. we drove over to the Coeymans p.d. to see if we could find car 921. It was not there. We then drove over to the RCS high-school and found the car cruising around with two male officers in the front seat. At about 9:40 we returned to the Coeymans p.d. to find car 921 parked outside the entry to the p.d. with the engine running. We did examine the front right bumper and found extensive scraping and damage consistent with the height and type of damage found on the state vehicle. Because of the circumstances we were unable to get a photo without attracting risky attention.]

The irresponsibility and the arrogance in the Coeymans police department is appalling, scandalous. When will this community finally demand that it be stopped, that those responsible be made accountable, and that someone resigns. What is this a freaking ape circus? A dog and pony show?

Coeymans Police Bimbo, Calamity Crosier

Coeymans Police Bimbo, Calamity Crosier

Danielle Crosier has been assigned by the Coeymans police department and has been installed by your RCS CSD interim superintendent, Mr Alan McCarney, and his collection of morons calling themselves the RCS board of education as the RCS Student Resource Officer (SRO) and is stationed at the RCS high school, where the buzz is that she’s boinking one of the wrestling coaches. According to Crosier, “I am still a police officer but in a school environment. I’ll handle kids with a lighter touch,” Yeah! We’re sure you’ll be handling some of those young studs with a real light touch, Danny-girl, question is Where? (read the RCS CSD newsletter article, “New SRO immerses herself in the RCS environment.”)

We encourage our readers to demand a full accounting of this latest stupidity from the Coeymans town board and to demand a full report from Coeymans police chief Gregory “Dodo-Cop” Darlington. A complete accounting means someone will be taking responsibility for these many incidents and someone will be resigning! We encourage our neighbors and residents in Coeymans to make that crystal clear to those orangutans on the Coeymans town board!

We are also asking Coeymans residents to demand information on the incident and any reports filed on the incident by means of the New York State Freedom of Information Act or F.O.I.L. Force Coeymanazi p.d. Gregory Darlington to produce the information they’re most likely going to try to hide from taxpayers.

And whoever the parents are of the minor Crosier was putting at risk, you should be filing a complaint against the Town of Coeymans and the Coeymans Police Department for endangering your child and indifference to her safety. Isn’t it a bit hypocritical that Crosier is endangering your child bringing her to county family/child services?

In the meantime, Crosier should be put on unpaid leave, and get her ass out of our RCS schools!

ELIMINATE THE COEYMANS POLICE DEPARTMENT!

New Coeymans Town Board: First six months…Same old same old

Town of Coeymans Voters Thought They were Shifting the Power Balance in Favor of Positive Change last November

SURPRISE! STATUS QUO. NO VISION. OLD BUSINESS

status-quo-diver+fish

Given the chance for freedom, to escape from its confinement in a fishbowl, Coeymans opts to go back to where it was.

The basic problem with the candidates running for local elected office who are available to choose from whether we are voting for the members on the board of education or the town board, or even our judges, is the fact that they are ignorant or just plain uneducated. They have little or no vision because they, well, are popular because they are, simply put, local yokals (townie, local hick, hillbilly). The other group of local candidates come from the self-invented sophisticated upper class in local society: this means, simply put, the suits in the town or the village. These are the locals who are yokals but walk and talk like they’re not. They prance around like they’re better educated, have better jobs, bigger houses, etc. They’re the ones who run the committees and create the cliques. But the local yokals and the pseudo-sophistates are all one and the same stuff where the rubber hits the road, when you scrutinize performance. They have no vision, they get really nasty when criticized, and all they can do is reinvent wheels. And you wonder why nothing changes.

The local communities of Ravena, Coeymans, Selkirk, New Baltimore and beyond have no excuse for accepting the rubbish being offered by the RCS CSD board of education, by the village councils and the town boards, by the Coeymanazi police department. Why?  Because this blog has kept you all informed of what’s going on behind the scenes. We have not spoon fed you lies and propaganda like the local media and rags have done. We are not beholden to the crooks and the conspirators, the corrupt officials and police. We tell it like it really is and you get the information you deserve. But you have to participate, too. You have to comment, you have to start seeing beyond the smoke screens, you have to start attending the village, town and board of education meetings. You can’t continue to leave it to a few who have carried the burden for you for so long in the past. You have to get off your flat asses and participate if you want to see things change.

progress in coeymans

Our recent polls forecast the outcomes of three local elections that promised to usher in postitive change in our communities: Coeymans, New Baltimore, and Ravena. We didn’t run a poll on the last RCS CSD board of education because we thought it was a shoe in: the Latter-Hyslop-Brown gang was so obviously partisan and in cahoots with the teachers union that we didn’t imagine that voters would be so stupid to vote them in. But they were that stupid and we misjudged them. Now RCS is stuck with a special interest packed board of education that is loyal to the union and has all but eliminated the public from its decision-making process. The decisions are made in closed sessions and the public meetings may last 20 minutes, if that. Most people interested in attending refuse to spend more time traveling to the meetings than the meetings last. The big problem then is this: The RCS CSD board of education has fixed it so that they can do what they want and when there’s an uproar they can say “You had the chance to attend the public meetings but didn’t.” Pretty underhanded way to eliminate public participation in their scandalous and underhanded practices. But it seems to be working. You’ve handed it over to them and now you are paying and your kids are the victims, suffering, geting a substandard education in failing schools while the teachers are getting enhancements and outrageous salaries for doing everything but effective teaching. More than three quarters of the multi-million dollar school budget goes to salaries. Did you know that?

screwed1And now we not only have police in our schools disguised as necessary security (where were the teachers, teachers aids, etc.). Well, apparently the police officer assigned to the high-school is also providing sexual favors to a wrestling coach. And now we also have the Police State entering RCS CSD schools with police and police dogs searching students’ lockers while the kids are in class. What’s the effect on all of this on the students? What do they think about all of this? Do you think this sort of treatment is having a positive effect on them? Or is it part of a larger plan to zombify them in preparation for adulthood. Yes, parents, give them electronic toys, de-parent them, turn them over to failing schools, and let local law enforcement deal lthe death blow to their self-respect and dignity. And you go and do your own thing; you deserve your perosnal time because, after all, you’re paying your taxes and you expect that your kids will get what you’re paying for. Guess what? They are. Just like YOU: SCREWED!

Here’s an example: Our polls indicate that 85% of local residents want to see the Coeymans police department eliminated. That’s the best information we have because there’s no other information available. The Coeymans town board has no clue what is going on in the town or what YOU or anyone ouside of the town hall wants. George Langdon, a newly elected Coeymans town board member, appears to be a clone of the outgoing Tom Boehm and Dawn Rogers. Langdon, Flach and the rest of the sitting Coeymans town board are actually listening to Coeymanazi p.d. chief Gregory Darlington proposing increasing full-time Coeymans police officers and increasing his useless police department’s police power in Coeymans. They want to upgrade equipment, they want to hire new cops, the want to replace part-timers with full-timers, they want new vehicles. The taxpayers in the town of Coeymans, a town of less than 8,000 residents, is paying more than $1million to support a police department that is as corrupt as they come, and the town of Coeymans board is actually listening to arch-crook Darlington ask for more personnel and more money and equipment!

Here’s what the News Herald reports them to have said in a recent budget meeting (“Police chief looking to shift focus to full-time officers,” Ravena News Herald, April 3, 2014):

“Police chief Gregory Darlington wants to trim overtime expenses and improve service…by shifting focus to more full-time rather than part-time officers, and investing in technology for long-term benefits.”

But Darlington doesn’t explain how this will happen nor does the News Herald explain How? That’s because it’s all baloney! Or in plain English, bullshit!

Darlington then goes on to say, “we are already down three part-time positions ans we are anticipatient two more openings very soon (in the communications division).”

Dawn LaMountain, Darlington’s “confidential secretary” also has input on how to spend taxpayer money. LaMountain says, “I would like to canvas and hire five so that we hit the ground running. It keeps the overtime down.” Who in hell is LaMountain to be talking about hiring “five” (five what?). Since when is Darlington’s secretary making hiring decisions, determining how to keep costs down, influencing budgeting decisions. Where are the numbers? Where are  the data?

Here’s the clincher, though: Our study indicates that 85% of residents want to eliminate the Coeymans police department; word on the street is even higher. Our study indicates a very high majority want to turn over law enforcement to the Albany County Sheriff and the New York State Police, who already have responsibility for the town of Coeymans and are already being paid for. Yet we’re still discussing funding the Coeymans police department to the tune of more than $1million, hiring new full-time personnel, updating technology, etc. Town board member George Langdon (who is apparently a democrat dressed up as a Republican) apparently suppports the Coeymans police department depite popular outrage and notes that “funding was already available” (From where, may we ask, Mr Langdon?) and “There is a net zeo impact to the budget.” This means that Mr Langdon doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. It makes not sense logically and there are not fixed and firm numbers to substantiate Langdon’s outrageous misstatement. The bill to Town of Coeymans taxapayers for another year of Coeymanazi p.d. is at least $1million. That’s $1million that could and should be invested in something that is not duplicated expense, and the Coeymans police department is a duplicated expense.

Math genius Gregory Darlington, the same Gregory Darlington who had to take the police chief examination three times before he passed it, tells the Coeymans town board that his personnel magic will save the town $7,500 annually. Now compare that to the proposal made by the Albany County Sheriff Department to take over Coeymans law enforcement with a local Sheriff’s Department satellite station in Coeymans town hall, with local officers and vehicle presence that would save the town of Coeymans more than $300,000 (Yes! You read right: more than three hundred thousand dollars annually and we’d still have local officers and vehicles but wearing Sheriff’s deputy uniforms and driving sheriff-marked cars.) DUH! Compare an annual law enforcement budget proposed by Darlington of more than $1million to a budget of about $500,000. Compare Darlington’s proposed annual savings of $7,500 to the at least $300,000 in the Sheriff’s proposed plan if the Coeymans p.d. is eliminated.  Does anyone not understand this?

Coeymans police sargeant Ryan Johnson a.k.a. PsychoCop says it all when he explains the benefits of changing to 12-hour shifts. Johnson reasons: “You have a lot more time to do a full patrol…and you get an extra six or seven days off a month.” Now let’s look at that comment. Yes, PsychoC. with a 12 hour shift you do have more time to do a patrol than a 7.5 or 8-hour shift or even a 10-hour shift. We can’t argue that math. But then Johnson’s real interest comes out when he states that they will get “an extra six or seven days off a month.” So who benefits from all of this? Taxpayers? Hell no!

Coeymans Town Supervisor Stephen Flach is a major disappointment and a real jellyfish!

Coeymans Town Supervisor Flach A Jellyfish and a Disappointment

Coeymans Town Supervisor Flach
A Jellyfish and a Disappointment

Supervisor Flach is a real disappointment. We gave him the benefit of doubt for being ineffective as a leader when we theorized that the majority on the board were opponents and stymying his real efforts. It appears he’s just a weak leader and sucks anything you put into his mouth. Previously actively pursuing the plan to eliminate the Coeymans p.d. and entering into active discussions with the Albany County Sheriff’s Department, Flach now seems to be caving to the police-lobby in town hall, apparently led by George Langdon. According to Flach as quoted in the News Herald article, he says, “My only concern is that the police department has enough full timers that we can get rid of the overtime.” Flach, you’re a major disappointment and a real jellyfish! If that’s your only concern regarding the Coeymans police department you need to take a walk!

And then we have our resident card-carrying Christian who objects to the “X” in Xmas (not being Christian enough to know that the X stands for “Christ” in the Greek Christos) who in his usual ignorant and misguided eloquence is incorrectly described by Bryan Rowzee as working “in the medical profession.” Masti is a freakin’ nurse. Maybe he works in healthcare but he’s not a “medical professional” which would mislead the reader to possibly understand Masti to be a physician. Just say Masti’s a nurse and avoid any misunderstandings. But that’s not the point we’re trying to make here. Masti adds his two cents in the NH article by saying, “Trust me, I am a big fan of 12-hour shifts.” Comparing apples with oranges seems to be a habit on the Coeymans town board (like kissing Coeymans p.d. ass is): A 12-hour shift in nursing is quite different from a 12-hour shift in law enforcement, Mr Masti. Having read Masti’s letters to the editor in the past (He actually gets them published regularly in the News Herald. That should tell you something about Masti.) and reading some of his statements made as a Coeymans town councilman, I would really like to know where he’s a nurse…so I can stay clear of the place and ensure no one in my family is ever treated there. I have serious concerns about Mr Masti’s mental status.

The “C” in Coeymans town council stands for “Caver”. After all is said and done, Coeymans residents, citizens and voters are getting another shafting by their elected officials. This report on the budget and the crazy, idiotic statements made by Coeymanazi police chief Gregory Darlington, PsychoCop Ryan Johnson and others on the Coeymans town board should alert Coeymans that they need to be brought back on track because they have derailed (AGAIN!). They are still in the same rut as a year ago and are spinning their wheels. Watch George Langdon very closely, too, because he’s a slippery snake. Flach is a jellyfish and folds at every opportunity. Masti is an idiot. So there’s a majority on the Coeymans town board. Lord help us!
