COEYMANS:
BRAVO! YOU DID IT!

The Voters of Coeymans Saved the Day for the Town and its Residents! Voters stood up and let their voices be heard! Boehm & Rogers get the boot. Now Supervisor Flach can get the important things done, like clean up the Coeymans police department? Boehm is out. The next one should be Darlington and with him his little clique of thugs.

Supervisor

Stephen D. Flach 1,070
Martin R. Case 805

Coeymans Town Council

Kenneth A. Burns, Sr. 1,250
George E. Langdon IV 945
Dawn L. Rogers 781
Thomas A. Boehm: 669

Town Clerk Coeymans

Diane L. Millious 1,446
Michelle L. Maddage   445

Highway Superintendent Coeymans

Scott D. Searles 1,113
George J. LaMountain, Jr. 750

NICE JOB, NEW BALTIMORE!

But you could have and should have done better!

Do you think that the fact that the Hudson-Catskill Newspapers (Ravena News Herald, Greene County News, Daily Mail) refused to publish your Republican, Conservative and Independence party-endorsed candidates might have screwed up the election in New Baltimore? Why else would two very qualified candidates, Russo and Vadney, have lost to two very unqualified insiders? Think about that. You should tell John B. Johnson, chairman, and Mark Vinciguerra, publisher, what you think of their discriminatory, unfair, unbalanced coverage of the candidates and their unfairly influencing the elections. Here are their emails:

John B. Johnson
Chairman, Johnson Newspaper Corp.
jbj@wdt.net

Mark Vinciguerra
Publisher, Hudson-Catskill Newspapers
mvinciguerra@registerstar.com

We have a big bone to pick with the Greene County Board of Elections, too, and will demand some action from the Office of the Attorney General and from the Secretary of State. We think the Republican, Conservative, and Independence party-endorsed candidates, no matter whether they were successful or not, should join together and demand an explanation Why? the Greene County Board of Elections did nothing in response to the unbalanced coverage of the candidates. You can read on the Greene County BoE website: “The right to vote in the United States is one of our most important constitutional guarantees and we make every effort to insure that the election process in Greene County is administered in a fair, efficient, and professional manner.” OK. It’s not! In fact, we feel that the residents and voters of the Town of New Baltimore, no matter what their persuasion, should demand that Greene County Election Commissioners Thomas J. Burke and Brent Bogardus both tender their resignations! They’ve both proved themselves to be useless, impotent, and irrelevant! If you agree, tell them so! Here are their e-mails:

Thomas J. Burke
tburke@discovergreene.com

Brent Bogardus
bbogardus@discovergreene.com

But all things considered, New Baltimore gave O’Rorke the boot and send a definite message to her control-freak minions, Angelis and Schrauf. By doing that the Town of New Baltimore saved its ass and opened the way to government by the people, and very possibly to some really positive developments in the Town of New Baltimore itself as well as in cooperative undertakings with its neighbors to the North and to the South, the towns of Coeymans and Coxsackie. Now is the time for peacemaking and collaborative efforts to ensure mutual growth and sustainability!

Supervisor

Nicholas A. Dellisanti (REP, CON, IND) 555
Susan K. O’Rorke (NOP, OUR)¿ 536

Town Council

Shelly A. VanEtten (REP, CON, IND) 629
Jeffry R. Ruso (REP, CON, IND) 585
Hilary A. Schrauf (OUR)¿ 488
Janet I. Angelis (DEM) 434

Town Clerk Coeymans

Janet A. Brooks (NOP, OUR)¿ 685
Ann Marie Vadney (REP, CON, IND) 413

Highway Superintendent Coeymans

Diane A. Jordan (REP running as DEM, RTP) 640
Sally-Anne Russo (REP, IND) 434

These candidates had the endorsements of the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties. Three lines on the ballot!
¿ These candidates were not registered in any party nor were they endorsed by any mainstream political party whatsoever and had to resort to local ragtag parties like the “Our Town” or “Responsible to the People” parties, totally invented parties.
Dianne Jordan was the biggest scam artist in the running. She wasn’t endorsed by her own party, the Republican party, so she ran as a democrat, endorsed by the obscure invented party, the “Responsible to the People” (Diane Jordan) party. If you feel scammed, you ought to.

Mr Supervisor Dellisanti and Councilpersons Ruso and van Etten: Our recommendation would be to include Ms Vadney and Ms Russo on your committees as ex officio consultants or as permanent member with special credentials (for a reasonable stipend, of course, with the approval of the town council). We thought they’d have been wasted in the dead-end, dead-head positions of clerk and tax collector. It would be a shame to waste such talents and gifts, particularly given the fact that as a campaigning team you worked well as a team but each spoke his or her mind and didn’t get bullied. That’s something we need in local government: thinking team members!

Best of Luck and Success to Both Coeymans and New Baltimore! You did GOOD!

Would you happen to know when Mayor Bruno’s term is up? Do you think he will run again? I sure hope not. Is there a time limit on his years in office? Thank you for your great blog–I love reading it…

Ravena mayor John Bruno’s term ends in March. That’s when the village of Ravena elections are to be held. He does intend to run again. The man has no dignity or sense and he’s determined to complete the Ghost-town plan for Ravena. Some people, like Bruno, crave control like a narcotic. Problem is that there is no limit on the number of terms he can run nor a mandatory retirement age nor a limit on years in office. Voters have to make the decision for him. Hopefully they will retire him this time around.

Bruno is very much disliked and a very unpopular man. He’s deceptive and untrustworthy. That’s common knowledge. But he has manipulated so many people and has infected them with greed and the impression that they have power, and the only way they can feed their greed (like the Biscones, the Brunos, Persicos, Albanos, and others) and keep their small-town, small-mind power is to back Bruno.

This may likely change this time around, especially with the poor showing Bruno’s monkey Martin Case made in his bid for Coeymans supervisor. Given that Case was supported by his friends in the school system, his teacher-dominated board of education and their lunatic supporters, and the Bruno tribes, he STILL lost! That given the very small margin by which Case won by to get on the Ravena village council is an indicator of Bruno’s weakening. The overall trouncing of the overconfident but ignorant and arrogant democrats-in-name-only like Boehm and Dolan in Coeymans (Dolan got killed in his bid for New York state senator and he really dropped the ball and screwed the dems in the most recent town elections. He can start making plans for getting dumped when he’s up for re-election, even if he does fill out absentee ballots for his welfare crowd.)

The writing is on the wall: Coeymans is sick and tired of the favortism and the games. Come January 1st we are looking for major changes in Coeymans that must include some action being taken to fire some people in the Coeymans police department. Darlington is one who needs to go. Then Dirty-hands Jerry Deluca. This needs to be done before they start sucking us dry with their ill-gotten pensions! Others will follow, including Deluca’s wife, Cathy Deluca, who Bruno has installed as the director of the failing Ravena health and fitness dump. It’s obvious Bruno and his madam, Nancy Warner, put Deluca in that position expecting to buy influence in Coeymans town hall, but when and Boehm, Rogers got the boot and are no longer able to take orders, and the democrats and Darlingtom made a complete ass of Michelle Maddage by running her for town clerk, the whole house of cards came tumbling down around them. They’re running pretty scared in Ravena village hall right about now. And they should be.

We’re going to be working hard between now and January 1st to convince Coeymans town hall that Darlington and his thugs have to go. Now and to March 2014, we’re also going to be working hard to convince voters that Ravena village hall needs a good fumigation to get the cockroaches out. Then maybe Ravena and Coeymans can start talking civilly to one another, something that has been impossible for years. And it shows on the streets of Ravena, too.

Residents should also be considering how to send Michael Biscone to jail or at least get corruption charges brought against him. He’s a major louse on the back of Ravena residents and taxpayers, and has been sucking them dry for years not only through village hall but also with his corrupt law practices and the influence he peddles in the local corrupt justice courts. His time is limited.

So, that’s the “short answer” to your question, Tony.

Thanks very much for your comment and for reading the blog. We’re happy you enjoy it.

P.s. Send the link to the blog to your e-mail contacts and friends. Also, don’t forget to e-mail the owner and publisher of the Ravena News Herald for their corrupt practices and unfair reporting. They’re hurting this community by supporting and backing the criminals in local government. Times Union, too.

Thank you. I will help in any way that I can. I am also wondering if someone is planning on running against Bruno. What kinds of businesses do you see being created here? Every time I travel down Rte 143 towards the village, I see the Crossroads garage with the plastic on one side. It would be nice to put a restaurant there..Or–the god awful and ugly flea markets as you enter the village on the 9W. I am only 35 and have two jobs and two small children. I would love to get more involved but it’s so hard to find the time…

Thank you, Tony, for your comment. You make some very good points.

Actually, we have been planning to run a couple of articles on what can be done with the Ravena ghost town and empty buildings, businesses, etc. once Ravena village hall has been cleared up. No one will be able to do anything until all new people, people who don’t have other connections than with the interests of the village and, of course the Town. We have some ideas that we’ll be running by readers and hopefully readers will send to friends, relatives, neighbors and discuss them.

We will be publishing some embarrassing news about some people in village hall very soon that might convince people to start thinking seriously about sending some of them to jail or at least to urgent care for a brain transplant.

It may come down to identifying the specific tumors in the village body for excision. If you go back to back issues on this blog you might be very surprised to see what we have already published on the incestuous relations in town and how corrupt it really is. The corruption and evil has permeated everything from the board of education to the maintenance stalls.

What we need is people interested in running against the villains and rejuvenating the village and the hamlet. And we don’t mean self-interested, special interest, greedy tools like Martin “Marty” Case and his type, either. Nancy Biscone-Warner is evil. She’s got to be one of the first to go.

You may not have time but you may know people around your age who would like to get into local government, or your parents are still young enough to consider getting active and pushing good people to run for office. What we need is sincere, honest, committed younger people. Enough of the 70-somethings who don’t know when to move on.

        Thanks again, Tony!

I reserve my opinion on them that was voted in to see what they do for the town of Coeymans…….It was all talk, now is the time to put up or what happened this year , will happen again……this goes to show all that we (people in the town) want results and we deserve them…….to be continued………..

Thank you, Confused, for your comment. You are right when you say much of what was going on was a lot of talk but it was a lot of the WRONG talk; it was talk that was not doing anything for good local government, no good for the people of this town and was destroying what community was left. A lot of that talk came out of Ravena mayor John Bruno’s office and through his flying monkeys like Marty Case and Nancy Warner, but they had their moles in Coeymans town hall, too. Do we have to mention Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca and greedy-hands Cathy Deluca, or Tom Dolan, etc? Or the role the Coeymanazi police play in cooperating with Bruno and Warner and attacking local kids?

And Right again! the people in the town of Coeymans and in the Town of New Baltimore, too, wand and deserve results; they’re paying for all of this crap.

The slates were wiped almost clean. Now Darlington and Dolan have to go. And they’re pretty close to the door now.

But we have to give the new people a chance. That being said, we have to keep a close eye on them, too, to make sure they stay on the straigh and narrow.

      Thanks again for your comment.

It would have been a shame if Marty Case would have gotten voted in. Here’s a guy that is a full time teacher and wanted to be elected to a full time supervisor position. If you ask me…if he would’ve been voted in, he would’ve been the Coeymans town supervisor with the best interests of the Village of Ravena on his mind.

We agree, as you probably already know from what we’ve been publishing. Our worst fears have been avoided.

Ravena is irrelevant and has been maginalized by its mayor, John Bruno, and his flying monkeys. They hate the youth and childen of Ravena-Coeymans as has been proved by what they’ve been doing to the RC Youth and Teen Center, what they tried to do to the RCS Community Library, and what they’ve allowed the Coeymans police to do to our children. The less of Ravena in Coeymans the better.

Thanks, Virgil, for your comment. We appreciate your contributions.

I thought it was a crock that John C. Wallner of New Baltimore was touting those running on the Democratic ticket. I then saw a post in the bank AND the New Baltimore post office that this shady individual was having his home repossessed by the bank. You covered him a few days ago as one of the beasts of the night and I made the decision then to vote down the Republican lines with the exception of Ms. Brooks.

Nothing against candidate Vadney who I think was more than qualified. Brooks has always been a help to me over the years and if any of the O’Rorke 5 deserved to get elected it was her.

You’ve done wonderful work and I am honored you took a stand. Thank you for doing the work those stupid rags won’t do.

      Dear NB Hanncroix Resident:

Thank you for your fine comment. Yes, Wallner is something of a creature of the night and is a pariah except to a few of his species in the Hamlet of New Baltimore, the Ross pair, Joan and Robert, Janet Angelis and a number of her Conservancy creatures, the Knightons, Bob Dorrance, and of course the O’Rorke hangers-on.

We do agree, say what one will about Ms Brooks, we hear she’s a good clerk. We feel Ms Vadney, with her education, talents, and personality would be best on the town council or on a top-end committee or board. She’d be wasted as clerk. Same for Ms Russo. In the end, things tend to work out if they’re not forced.

Thans again for your kind remarks. If it weren’t for readers like you we would have petered out long ago. You make it all worthwhile!
