Private Citizens Can Tell You It’s None of Your Business
When You’re an Elected Official, Public Employee, a Public Servant You Have an Obligation to Answer to the Public, Especially When It’s a Question of Misconduct, Double Standards, or Hypocrisy.
We have recently received some very disturbing reports from citizens and residents that require a response from our elected officials, our public employees, and our public servants. We believe firmly in the priciple that if you are innocent and have the opportunity to defend yourself, you must do so; otherwise your silence can reasonably be understood to be an admission of guilt.
So, we are asking our public servants, the Coeymans town supervisor, Stephen Flach, and the members of the town board of the town of Coeymans,Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers; the chief of police of the Coeymans town police department, Gregory Darlington; the mayor of Ravena, John Bruno, and the members of the Ravena village council, Martin Case, William Bailey, Nancy Warner, and Rocco Persico, and the village and town justices Harold “Hal” Warner, Phillip Crandall, and George Dardiani, to come forward and publicly admit or deny the allegations brought by residents, taxpayers, and citizens regarding outrageous misconduct in the execution of your duties and obligations to the residents and citizens of this Ravena-Coeymans community.
Let’s be very clear about this: You Do Not Have the Option of Silence, unless you invoke the 5th Amendment to avoid criminal prosecution. That’s your Constitutional right. You may have denied us our rights but we are greater than you; we acknolwedge your rights and we respect and honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Our Readers Write that:
For Coeymans Police Chief Gregory Darlington and Coeymans Police Lieutenant Kerry Thompson, and Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple: Coeymans police department employee, Kerry Thompson, also an employee of the Albany Sheriff’s Department, administrative assistant to Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: We have received a report and video evidence that your son defaced and destroyed political campaign signes, to wit: the political campaign signs at least of candidate George LaMountain. We understand that no action, no report, no arrest, no charges have been brought agains your son for his crime. True or False?
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: Chief Darlington has an infant seat in the back of his Coeymans police department issued official police vehicle; Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington allegedly takes that vehicle when he goes on vacations etc. Is the intended use of the official vehical? Darlington receives a salary of $91,000/year plus benefits. Coeymans taxpayers pay for the car, its fuel, its maintenance. Is the intended use of the official vehical? In fact, Darlington had pictures posted on Facebook while on vacation of his family in the police vehicle. Well, is this true or false, Mr Darlington?
Editors Note: We believe the vehicle is provide for official use. If the supervisor and board members agree, then Mr Darlington is guilty of misuse of public property, should resign, and reimburse the town of Coeymans for his misuse of the official vehicle.
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: Coeymans police chief Darlington’s wife is a secretary in Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares office. Our reader states that s/heI has sent letters to the Town Board as well as Soares office reporting on questionable, illicit, and unlawful incidents going on in Coeymans under Darlington’s watch, and nothing at all has come of it. Mr Darlington, supervisor Flach, town board members Boehm, Dolan, Masti Rogers: Is there a conflict of interest here? What is your response?
And what about the fact that not only does Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington have a mole in the Albany County District Attorney’s office (Darlinton’s wife), his administrative assistant, Kerry Thompson, an employee in the Albany County Sheriff’s Department, is married to Darlington’s sister, and works closely with Darlington in the Coeymans police department. Are boundaries being violated? Are there conflicts of interest here? Mr Darlington, supervisor Flach, town board members Boehm, Dolan, Masti Rogers: Is there a conflict of interest here? What is your response?
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: We’ve been waiting to read about Kerry Thompson’s son……(sons)…..I and have been wondering why his other son, Tyler Thompson, a teenager who is now been hired to work in the Coeymans police department as a police dispatcher, and who drives like a f’n maniac was not charged with anything, not even a defective equipment ticket, when he obviously was driving at excessive speed on Rt. 143 on the corner at Aquetuck Road, could not make the corner, took out the at least one mailbox, AND hit another vehicle. Allegedly no tickets were issued., no report filed, no investigation launched, no charges brought. We need to know why? Perhaps you can answer this question, Mr Kerry Thompson: Why did your kid get away with this when we get stopped for not signalling a turn and slapped with a ticket? We want to know Why?!?
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: Did you know that Coeymans police chief Darlington is the officer that broke up the party that Coeymans police lieutenant Kerry Thompson’s son was at and no one was arrested – nothing even is listed on the police blotter about it. It was decided that all information regarding this incident is to be “swept under the rug” at the closed door executive meeting with the PD at Tuesday night’s Coeymans’ town board meeting. We want to know why that happened.
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington, and for RCS CSD superintendant schools Allen R. McCartney, and the RCS board of education: Danielle Crosier (Coeymans PT police officer) was given hiring preference by listing an address in the town of Coeymans when she does not actually live there. Crosier also has not done the training to be an SRO and isn’t eligible to even attend the training until she has been employed full-time for a year, and she is just now getting hired full time. This means that she is actually unqualified to be a police security office in the schools and is essentially a liability to the RCS school district and to the town of Coeymans if something happens and she doesn’t have training to properly deal with it. The unconfirmed rumor is alos that she is Kerry Thompson’s GIRLFRIEND. So, elected officials and public employees, what’s the story? Is this true or false?
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: Ryan Johnson is supposedly undercover with the DEA yet he sits at Coeymans PD everyday socializing and also goes out in uniformed patrol and takes overtime shifts, which should be a violation of his contract with the DEA. Why is he getting paid to work for the DEA but hangs out at Coeymans PD with Chief Darlington all day not doing much drug enforcement work (he is also still listed as a FT officer with Coeymans). So what do we have here, another case of double-dipping?
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington, and Coeymans town justice Phillip Crandall: This blog recently reported an allegedly illegal search of a resident’s home, arrest of the resident and his partner, illegal interrogation of a minor on school premises, and multiple felony and misdemeanor charges being brought on the basis of a facially unconstitutional search warrant in violation of the 4th Amendment to the United States Constitution issued by town justice Phillip Crandall. We obtained the documents and posted them on this blog. So, gentlemen and ladies, what’s the story? Do we file a Notice of Claim and bring a lawsuit against the town of Coeymans for violation of civil rights or do we have it all wrong? Just tell us the documents we published are fake and that will be the end of it. We’re waiting.
Editor’s Note: And while you’re at it, investigate Coeymans rogue cop Ryan Johnson’s sworn statement (Phil, you state in the search warrant he provided a written statement that you relied on.). Does it specifically state what he expected to find (but didn’t) and the facts upon which his expectation was based (such as the statements of known drug addicts!). We really do want to know.
For Coeymans town supervisor Stephen Flach and town board members Thomas Boehm, Thomas Dolan, Peter Masti, and Dawn Rogers, and Coeymans police chief Gregory Darlington: Also Jason Albert (a FT officer) spends an awful lot of time at the “Getty”(now Citgo) or in the Coeymans police department office all day not doing any police work . This is a very poor use of taxpayer dollars. The joke around town is that the “Getty” mart is the new Coeymans PD Substation. How does the town of Coeymans and the Coeymans police chief justify this in the face of recently hiring three new police trainees? How many police offices does a small town need anyway? That’s assuming they are doing what they’re supposed to be doing!
For RCS CSD superintendent Allen R. McCartney and RCS middle school principal Pam Black, and the members of the RCS board of education: Last week at the RCS middle school a reader’s grandson, who is in 7th grade was beat up by 2 students, who got him on the ground and were holding him down and choking him. This all happened during recess right outside of principal Pam Black’s office window. and not one of the teacher aides (Teacher’s aide? That’s a huge joke where the RCS CSD is concerned). who were assigned that recess saw these 2 students on top of the reader’s grandson beating/choking him and didn’t help him! It wasn’t until the reader’s grandson’s friend got scared and had to run into the building and tell the principal that his friend was outside at recess and being beat/choked by 2 other students. The reader told his/her daughter to file a complaint/lawsuit against the school district but she said the principal said that if these 2 abusive students get into any more trouble she’s going to automatically press charges on them! We can’t understand what in the hell is going on at the RCS middle school that a child can be beaten/choked by 2 other students, especially when we have the assurances of the RCS CSD superintendent Allen R. McCartney that the provisions of the New York State Dignity Act (NYS Anti-bullying law) are being enforced in the RCS CSD schools. Why are we paying an incompetent principal, Pam Black, and inattentive teacher aids to supervise kids on recess and still having our kids attacked, traumatized and abused. Can you explain this situation superintendent McCartney?
Finally, this one is for Ravena mayor John Bruno and the members of the village of Ravena village council members Martin Case, William Bailey, Nancy Warner and Rocco Persico : Some time ago, on Camille Drive, Coeymans town code enforcement officer and a local attorney, allegedly Michael Biscone, developed the Camille Drive properties and buried a natural waterway. Since then, there have been numerous instance sof flooding and sewer/sewerage problems on or near 9W and in the village of Ravena. The DEC has been levying fines galore but you haven’t been talking much about them. Now your digging up streets in the village without explanation. We’d like to know what the fines are and how much the village of Ravena has been paying to the DEC in fines. We’d like to know the details of the problem. We’d like to know how you all got away with buring creeks for your own profit and while causing these problems the taxpayers of this community have to pay the bill! Can you tell us that, mayor Bruno? How about you, village council members Martin Case, William Bailey, Nancy Warner, and Rocco Persico? Got any truthful answers?
Our next articles will be asking very serious questions about what’s going on in the town of New Baltimore, and another will address the conspiracy in Ravena-Coeymans against the Ravena-Coeymans Teen and Youth Activities Center. Stay Tuned! It’s going to get really scary (Susan O’Rorke, Diane Jordan, Christopher Norris, Janet Angelis, and others had better take cover!)
