New! The RCS Champions Group

01 Nov

Just a reminder…

Two new FaceBook sites that will promote our community agenda and our organization even more, and provide even more people with the opportunity to learn the truth and to work with us.

You now have the opportunity to join the RCS Champions Group on FaceBook. It’s an open group where anyone can join in the discussion and share views and discuss issues. Just go to RCS Champions Group and start discussing!

We also have the RCS Champions Page which is another area where you can obtain up-to-date information on this community blog and leave your comments. All of our blog posts are automatically announced on the  RCS Champions Page.

We monitor both for new information and welcome anyone with an interest in the RCS community.

(Don’t forget that you can get automatic updates on this blog by e-mail by just clicking on the Follow Me button on the left side of the page. Every time an article is posted or changed, or a comment is posted, you’ll get an e-mail notification. How convenient is that!?!)

Here are some features of the RCS Champions Group and the RCS Champions Page that might be of interest to our readers:

Feature RCS Champions Group RCS Champions Page
Generally Provides a closed space for the community to communicate about shared interests. Groups can be created by anyone. Allows organizations, businesses, personalities to communicate broadly with others who like the page. Pages may only be created and managed by an official representative of the originator.
Privacy In addition to an open setting, more privacy settings are available for this group. This is an open group and posts can be read and discusse by everyone; in secret and closed groups, posts are only visible to group members, however. Page information and posts are public and available to everyone on Facebook.
Audience Group members must be approved or added by other members. When a group reaches a certain size, some features are limited. This group will be most useful if we limit the topics and form discussion groups with people you know. Anyone can like a Page to become connected with it and get news feed updates. There is no limit to how many people can like a Page.
Communication Members in the RCS Champions group will receive notifications by default when any member posts in the group. Group members can participate in chats, upload photos to shared albums, collaborate on group docs and invite members who are friends to group events. The page admininstrator can share posts under the Page’s name. Page posts appear in the news feeds of people who like the page.
Page admininistrators can also create customized apps for their Pages and check Page Insights to track the Page’s growth and activity.
