More Child Abuse: “Get out and push the bus!”

[ UPDATE: Unofficial Information Received Today (Oct. 6, 2012) Reports that the Offending Busdriver Has Been Suspended. There is no news yet on the busdrivers involved in the abandonment of the other two students. We should expect that the two busdrivers involved in the abandonment will be suspended, and that Dawn Hunter, transportation dispatcher, be disciplined.

What if kids were pushing it?

All we can say is that busdriver made a very, very bad decision! When we put someone in charge of a vehicle and fill that vehicle up with school children, can’t we reasonably expect that that busdriver gets some screening, some training, is trained with some knowledge of emergency procedures? Well, obviously, this busdriver didn’t have the brains to know what to do and when. But to have students get out of the bus and push it off the NYS Thruway is really an extreme example of idiocy and abuse to the max!

Wouldn’t it have been smarter to get the kids to safety on the grass, out of harm’s way, put on the flashers, screw the traffic?!? Wouldn’t a normally functioning mind in such a position of responsibility prioritize what needed to be done? Let’s see: FIRST GET THE KIDS TO SAFETY! NEXT: Everything else…. But it didn’t happen that way. Why?

THIS is WHY!!!

How is it possible that not only were the kids not moved to a safe area they were actually told to get out of the bus and to push the bus! I’m at a loss for words!

One parent wants an explanation and writes to the Superintendent, Elizabeth R. Smith, Brian Bailey, principal of the high school, and the the RCS board of education:

“My son [name redacted] was bused from BOCES this afternoon, when his bus broke down on the NYS Thruway he was asked to push the bus out of the road along with several other students before the police arrived. I feel as though this is a huge safety concern. Is this legal? What is being done about this? When I go to work I have to feel that RCS is protecting my son. I do not feel that right now.”

“A little over two weeks ago my son was left to walk home down Route 9W because of the confusion with the buses. When will this stop?”

What are the other parents doing about this, I wonder? Will the Coeymanazis have something to say when the board of education starts chopping heads? Where are all the loudmouths in the RCS central school district now or ever when it comes right down to disciplining school personnel who are pervs or perps or just plain stupid?

We’ve reported in one single week the facts that a bus aide abuses a special needs child and nothing’s done about it. A child is left behind, refused bus transportation home because of an obscure policy that hadn’t even gone into effect yet. And another child who is left abandoned when he gets confused as to which bus to board, and ends up walking home on Route 9W!

THIS or WORSE

The challenge: O.K. Brian Bailey, Jennifer Houck , Elizabeth R. Smith, Whalen, Edward “Teddy” Reville, Howard “Bray” Engel, James Latter, Deluca (Cathy and Dirty-Hands Jerry), Traver, Donna Leput-Hommel (maybe you can shed a tear or two about this at the next BoE meeting?), Josephinie O’Connor (forget about your weight, maybe your father can visit the busdriver and make a false claim), R.J. D’Esposito, Misuraca, Tom Dolan, Gary Vanderzee, and the rest of you loudmouths, “It’s for the kids!” chanters, anything to say? What now, loudmouths? Maybe you can discuss the real problems on your FaceBook garbage dumps?

What are we paying these idiots for?
To kill our kids?

Isn’t it time you parents stepped up to the plate and stopped gold plating turds and admit that someone in the school system, a principal, a superintendent, a director of transportation, a busdriver SOMEONE has to be held accountable.

Isn’t it time you parents and taxpayers came to your senses and realize that it’s the Coeymanazi’s lie that makes you believe that the Board of Education has any power to discipline without an outcry from the public! YOU have to start doing something before YOUR reps on the BoE can do anything.

Isn’t it time that you learn the difference between TRUTH and lies! As long as you get your information from FaceBook sites like RCS Friends and More or the Cathy’s Coeymanazi Clucks Club, or from the tabloid rags you read, you’re DOOMED to continue to be their stoogies! Wake up, people!

 Or are you waiting to be called by the police to come and identify a body? Your choice, parents!
