Court Update: Joe Tracey Appears in Court

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

Alone, Abandoned, Pitiful!

Abandoned Like An Old Truck Carcass

Josephine O’Connor’s father, Joseph “Joe” Tracey, appeared today in Bethlehem Town Court, before the same judge who arraigned Tracey on May 25, 2012, Judge Mark S. Jordan, Bethlehem Town Justice, and the same judge who imposed the Order of Protection on Tracey, ordering him to stay away from John Vadney and Vadney’s family, and that same court order that Tracey had the Coeymans Police violate, and which Tracey himself violated the very next day.

Say what you will, but it does cut a pitiful picture to have sat with a small contingent of supporters of John Vadney, and to have had to see the scapegoat lumber up to the bench with just his lawyer as support. Even his own daughter, Josephine Tracey-O’Connor, didn’t have the decency to show up to be at her father’s side, the very man who got sucked into defending her idiotic ego. There he was, a hulk of a man looking pretty ragged even in a suit, a big guy, but his sheer size makes his whole story incredible. No Coeymanazies, no daughter, just the scapegoat. It really tugged at the heart strings, even if you are disgusted by the things he’s done and the company he keeps, there was something noble in what he thought he was doing, something even parental. I had to try very hard to keep justice in mind when pastoral compassion was threatening to get the upper hand.

Keeping this relatively short, Tracey’s attorney–you have to wonder who’s paying for her! Do you think Josephine is helping out with the bill? Or the Coeymanazies? Better check the Coeymans Police petty cash, it might come up short this month! Well, Tracey’s attorney stated her own version of the facts, which were naturally very strange, especially so, since Judge Jordan is familiar with the facts of June 25th. Didn’t do much for Tracey, though.

Judge Jordan, listened patiently, asked a couple of questions, and agreed to postpone Tracey’s trial. Judge Jordan also extended the Order of Protection until at least September 18, 2012.

Thank you Judge Jordan!

[Editor’s Note: It was refreshing to observe the Jordan court move through the cases with efficiency, respect, and compassion. Jordan greeted each party with respect, explained to each one appearing before him what the charges meant. Judge Jordan has finesse and people skills. I personally was impressed.]

Asskissers: No Answers, Just Censorship

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

It Seems That Getting Answers Or Even Getting To Speak In This So-Called Community Is Getting More And More Difficult

Asked Several Times About How $$$ Much the so-called RCS Bottle Blitz Made at the First Collection on July 10, Cathy Deluca Avoids Answering and Tells Her Following, “Just Ignore Him!” Why, Cathy, is it Such a Big Secret?

They just love the fresh taste
and keep comin’ back for
more of the same!

Then the poop really hits the fan when Cathy Deluca is asked why she and Chubby Chubby-Chaser Hubby, Dirty Hands Jerry, don’t use some of their political connections to get some fundraisers, like ARANY, Deluca Public Affairs, Main Street Small Business Coalition, any of the local businesses (if any are left in RCS)–Yeah, the same ones the Coeymanazies like to punish–might organize something. Then the cat fur really started flying! That was getting “political.” The Deluca herd of moos really got their bovine knickers in a twist!

Do The Belong To You?
Don’t get these big mommas in a twist!

It’s always the ones who are spewing the rhetoric about community and doing what’s good and what’s right. Actually, it’s a gaggle of ass kissers who are sucking up to their Coeymanazi leaders, or a bunch of sociopathic obese humanoids who don’t dare appear in public, and so spend their waking hours worshipping the Bottle Blitz and its big momma, Cathy Deluca, on another censored FaceBook site.

One of our regular contributors, following a lead, joined one of the many RCS happy-happy FaceBook groups, “RCS Friends and More,” and tried to contribute some sense and insight to the bunch there. Well, try to convince a herd of cows it’s not milking time and prepare to get trampled by the stupid moos! Here’s an exchange relating to the RCS Bottle Blitz, where the contributor simply asked, one week after the first collection efforts, how much money was collected:

On June 23, 2012, Cathy DeLuca posted an announcement about her RCS Bottle Blitz project on the RCS Friends and More Facebook Site:

RCS.BottleBlitz4Field Trips@gmail.com
PLEASE PASS IT ALONG!!

Then, on July 11, the day after the first day of the Bottle Blitz, Deluca the announcement:

Now on a positive note. The turnout for the RCS Bottle Blitz was a great success! The community participation was awesome and we are looking forward to an even bigger truck load in August. We had 72 cases of glass bottles and 47 LARGE bags of plastic and cans. I will let everyone know what the final $$ is as soon as I’m notified. I Huge Thank you to EVERYONE that helped sort and to the Staff at RCS for all their help and encouragement. So save us your bottles and cans, the next dates are August 14 & 15. And again THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

Then the fun begings when our contributor, HWV, asks on July 17th:

HWV: OK, Cathy, it’s been almost a week. How much was realized by the first day of the Bottle Blitz? How much $$$, Cathy???

[Editor’s Note: You will recall that Cathy Deluca’s advice to members on the RCS Friends and More site was, “Just ignore him.” Well, she’s good at following her own advice, managed to avoid answering the question at all. Starting to sound like the RCS Athletic Association’s transparency under James Latters’ “leadership?” This community had better demand accountability if Deluca’s asking for public support! There are legalities, you know! Are you listening superintendant of schools Elizabeth Smith?]

Debbie Oatman:  What is your problem? No matter how much they raised, it will be more than they had. Geez…why not try to be a team player rather than attempt to “stir the pot”. It’s time to heal. Do you not see what’s happening in your district? Come on, grow up, be the role model your kids need to see. Don’t you see how all of this crap is affecting your students?

HWV: Ms Oatman, of course I see what’s happening around here! How can you be so naïve? I’ve been watching, listening, analyzing for some time now. What have you been doing?

Michelle Waldenmaier Koeppel: Mr [redacted] I am going to ask you one more time to stop this on this page or I will remove you.

Jamie Cabiati Guntert: Love this! If there is any other way we can help raise money for this cause, please keep us posted.

HWV: Yes. Ask the Delucas if they can use some of their “political” connections through ARANY, Deluca Public Affairs, the Main Street Small Business Coalition, the NYS Assembly, the DEC to get some support. May be more effective than picking up bottles.

Debbie Oatman: Great job Cathy! Sounds like a great way to try to build up some much needed morale and comradery in a district torn. One small step at a time…

HWV: We all have to use the resources at our disposal, don’t we? Even when we have to do it out of the limelight. Corporeal acts of mercy are most valuable when they are done unseen! Remember the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector?

Debbie Oatman: At least she’d doing something constructive and trying to take a small step at fixing a very broken district. You seem to want this mess to continue. Drama king maybe?

HWV: Look, as soon as we open our eyes and admit that there are not only good times but bad times, too, and admit that perhaps we may have something to learn even from the bad, there will be growth. If the name-calling continues, as you’re doing, suggestively rather than objectively, this area will continue to be broken. Look around you, read the blogs, synthesize, think, reflect (look within yourself) and we may get somewhere. As long as you’re focused externally, you’re missing what’s going on inside yourself. That can be a big mistake! Drama king? Not at all! Wounded healer, pastoral servant, perhaps. Interested observer, definitely.

Ashley Anne Irwin:  [Redacted], I thought you wanted these “discussions” to happen on your blog? So, why continue to start them in this group? If people want to see your opinion about things, they know where to look.

HWV: I don’t know what you’re talking about, Ms Irwin. Do you? The original question related to a community action inaugurated by Cathy Deluca, who, with her husband, Jerry Deluca, apparently have quite a number of “political” contacts, and are… involved in a number of business enterprises. Historically, such people are golden for fundraisers, and, if curried, may do a lot for a community or organization. Are you following this line of thought. One contributor can send a whole class on a field trip that might require tens of thousands of 5-cent deposit or 10-cent deposit bottles or cans. I would ask where the local businesses stand on this but there aren’t very many left, are there? I hope you can follow this train of thought. If not, I’ll explain it more simply by private e-mail, or on my own FaceBook account. Just request to be friended.

Ashley Anne Irwin: Her original post had nothing to do with anything political, you brought that up. And last night, one of the administrators asked that nothing “political” be brought to this group to respect the numerous members of this group that do not want to see it. So, stop.

HWV: Are you now deciding what’s political and not political? I mentioned “political” contacts nothing “political.” I’m wondering if you are reading challenged? The adjective “political” as used above has noting to do with making a “political” statement. You’re wasting my time; are you a product of the RCS schools?

Ashley Anne Irwin: Yes, sir, and I’m very proud of that. I’m proud to be part of an amazing community and district.

Debbie Oatman: If she’s wasting your time, then why bother to respond? Ashley…actions speak so much louder than words. So far, all we’ve seen/heard from Mr. [redacted] is alot of rhetoric. He seems to thrive on dysfuntion. I think we should not feed into him anymore. Let him go to his blog and spew his venom. He doesn’t seen to have much support anyway.

They’re at it again!
Got any gum, Michelle, Cathy, Ann?

HWV: I don’t know how much support I personally have, but when I visit the Smalbany blog I see they have more than 43,000 visitors and it seems to be growing by a couple of hundred each day. If you visit the blog, you can see for yourself. What are you afraid of? Anyway. You are boring me so you don’t have to read any more of my “rhetoric.”‘ Peace!

Michelle Waldenmaier Koeppel:  I really thought that this was going to be a site where we could share good news and catch up on old friends. Dan Gonyea set this site up for people to get together and share good times. I had the fortune of being an administrator of this page and I think that this is a disgrace and I am going to delete all the posts.

Jena Misuraca: Michelle I have been the PTO VP for the past 5 years and this year was forced to delete our entire PBC PTO page due to the arguing. It is sad. Good luck managing this page.

[Editor’s Note: Misuraca is probably referring to the Pieter B. Coeymans PTO  site that was dominated by Donna Leput-Hommel, and several other Coeymanazis, who, during the budget campaigning, tried to punish local businesses for not supporting the 2012-2013 school budget.]

Michelle Waldenmaier Koeppel:  [Redacted] obviously you did not see my post below about the disgrace that is going on here. If you do not have anything nice to say please do not say a thing. As an administrator I will remove you from this site your drama continues when people are posting positive things. This site is for the “Friends and children of RCS” Please stop this non sense. Anne Irwin likes this.

HWV: I’m afraid this side is a bit too closed-minded to make any significant contribution to anything. You have made your statements rejecting every possible attempt I have made to offer alternative viewpoints and to foster some sort of openmindedness. Your subscribers appear to be dyslexic or aphasic, or lexically challenged; as a result, they continue to march off the cliff despite charitable warnings that the bridge is burning! It’s very difficult to communicate intelligently with a hoard of depressed lemmings hell-bent on suicide. So, dear censor, please “remove” me from this site. I am personally requesting that action for the above reasons. That way I won’t be disturbed in my important work by bored matrons’ pessimistic whining, and Mrs Deluca’s impoverished attempts to look clean. Thank you for complying with my request as soon as possible.
Unable to post comment. Try Again.

And so it went. Cathy Deluca ignores the question. Her bovine followers follow suit. The aphasia, dyslexia of the lexically challenged friends and graduates of the progressive RCS schools system continue with the status quoThey can’t read, and if they do they don’t understand what they’re reading. They retaliate by name-calling and ignorance. When that fails, their watchdogs come in with the censorship. We don’t understand what you’re saying so bye-bye! Nazis!

So, if you ever consider joining one of the so-called RCS “friends” groups, just be aware that you might have to memorize the very simple language script, to say just the right thing, to stock up on asskisser’s gum, and you’ll need to really like kissing cow-ass!

Times Union Only Gets Worse…And Worse…And Worse

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

The Times Union is Continuing Its
Disgraceful Abuse of the Public Trust and Misrepresenting Facts.

And a small loudmouthed minority of you go around bitching about the blogger this and the blogger that, and the blog! So far, my dear friends and neighbors, this is the only place you have been able to read the facts, the truth, and what’s more, everything you read is supported by verifiable sources! So what’s your beef, people? Too much truth and not enough misinformation?

When????

Well, if That’s Your Problem, You’ll be Pleased to Know that the Smalbany Times Useless is Continuing to Make the Ravena Coeymans Selkirk community the laughing stock of the entire depressed and provincial Capital District.  You really need to ask youself, citizens, residents of Ravena, Coeymans and Selkirk why is it that the Times Union is picking on you and your community as if there’s not enough to find in the New York state governor’s mansion, the State Legislature, in other school districts across the region. Why is the Times Union so obsessed with Ravena, Coeymans, Selkirk? Is that all the news there is in the Capital Region?

Time To Tell the Rag
ENOUGH!!!

When is the School Superintendent going to protest the lambasting and scandalizing of her district? When is the Times Union finally going to get some ethics, some decent reporting skills, some integrity, some balls and go after the real problems in the Capital District, in the State Legistlature, in the Albany County District Attorney’s Office!!!

When are YOU going to finally take a stand?

It’s Obvious: The Albany Times Union Is
Bullying US, the Average Citizen!
Where are its real interests?

Have you ever wondered that the Times Union hasn’t reported a thing on the real corruption in our community? The Coeymans Police Department, the Coeymanazis who pushed the 2012-2013 school budget, the teachers and teachers union who staged the performances, for lack of a better description, by students in and around the voting area, the double-dipping, the fact that when all of the craziness was going on it was the teachers, the teachers spouses, and the teachers union who had the majority on the RCS school board! Doesn’t anyone hear that? Read it again! Now do you understand?

Those blind prostitutes at the Times Union, instead of praising the RCS CDS school board for making courageous decisions once the citizen/resident side got the majority, crucify the board members who were duly elected by this community.

Instead of praising the board of education members who voted to give Matt Miller his walking papers, that’s the teacher who pulls $88 grand out of the district in salary, who works a reduced teaching load so that he can take care of union business at taxpayer expense–no state department allows an employee to do union business on state time and pays that employee–but the RCS central school district does. And then, when the sitting citizen/resident side of the board under the presidency of John Vadney gives the parasite the boot, and refuses to renew Matt Miller’s position as “energy manager” and refuses to pay him an additional $10 grand on top of the $88 grand he receives in salary, the Albany Times Union sides with the crooks, and blasts the RCS board of education.

The Delucas are posting all over the place on social media that poor Matt “the Mutt” was a victim, that it was not good sense, not right, but personal and a political move, when the RCS board of education opted to save this district $10 by not renewing a useless position that was being misused by the district crooks to reward an insider, Matt Miller, president of the RCS CSD teachers association. How corrupt is that?

Who in hell does the Times Union think it is telling this district how to run its affairs. It’s this district that will solve its own problems and it doesn’t need the Smalbany Times Usless’ help to do it.

Don’t you wonder who’s behind all of this crapola? Who it is that’s perverting the facts, and what’s in it for them to make this community look like a gaggle of inbred woodchucks basking on a dung heap of a community? Someone must have an “in” and is getting special service from the Times Useless to have them mess up the facts so criminally, and conspicuously  avoid reporting on the real problems.

But the gnawing question is: How can a well-established regional newspaper be so stupid? You’d expect that sort of unprofessional behavior and indifference to the truth to be something you’d see in a small-town, mom-and-pop rag that would foster local feuds and biases. But to have a Hearst Corporation company act so imbecilic and so irresponsibly? They all need to be given their walking papers!

Now some giant dork of an editor at the Times Union gets on the bandwagon–but we have noted that she or he didn’t identify him or herself in the article, there’s no by-line– and is insulting the whole damned RCS community in a Sunday editorial.

Haven’t You Noticed Anything Yet?

And hasn’t anyone asked the question why John Vadney is getting all the attention in this fraudulent aggravated harrasment frame-up? Wasn’t Dirty-Hands Jerry’s good friend Josephine O’Connor the source of all the lunacy in the first place? Wasn’t it Josephine O’Connor’s father, Joseph “Joe” Tracey who accosted a local business woman and threatened her and her family?  Wasn’t it Joe Tracey who got himself arrested by the Bethlehem Police? Did you ever ask why it had to be the Bethlehem police? Wasn’t it Joe Tracey who got slammed with a protective order to keep John Vadney’s family from harm? Wasn’t it Joe Tracey who admits in a sworn deposition that the morning after getting slammed by a Town of Bethlehem judge with an order of protection to stay away from John Vadney’s home that Joe Tracey actually violates the protection order, drives to Vadney’s home, sees the police there, and then takes off? Did you every ask how Joe Tracey or was it Deluca, as a favor to his  dear little pet Josephine O’Connor, who took Joe Tracey’s complaint and sent the Coeymanazis to arrest John Vadney–in violation of Judge Jordan’s order of protection! No police in the civilized world would have actually arrested anyone on such idiotic grounds, but the Coeymanazis did. And you didn’t ask why? And you didn’t ask who gave the orders?

There are obviously very good explanations for all of this: What good would it have done the Coeymanazis to take the businesswoman’s complaint and arrest Joe Tracey for his misconduct. Answer, in case you need help with it : NONE. But did you ask why the Coeymanazis responded so immediately and so totally to Joe Tracey’s fraudulent complaint? It was all a conspiracy, a set up to get rid of citizen/resident board members and to keep the teachers majority. Once the they got rid of the citizen/residents–look how many times and how they’ve consistently tried to get board members to resign! It was almost a regular occurrence! They have cooked up so many scandals and half-truths to get public backing and they, the Coeymanazis, still failed.

But if you can frame, set up a prominent leader on the board of education, that, my friends would be a real blow to everyone.  And so, in their insane logic, they keep repeating the same idiotic mantra and the Times Useless keeps printing it like a good tabloid should, hoping that somehow, if you hear it enough, you’ll believe it. Don’t let that happen! For your own good! For your own self-respect! For your own survival!

Coeymanazi Message to You

Then the vote YES! bunch got the 2012-12 school budget approved by the board of education by the teachers majority at the time, saddled the community property owners with an additional 6.8% tax levy, pulled at everyone’s heart strings with the shroud of “it’s for the kids,” did everything that the RCS community is now being investigated for, and now they and the Times Useless are trying to shift the public’s attention to everyone but the guilty ones! Are you RCS citizens/residents totally missing all of this?

The Coeymanazis and the Delucas cry, “Get rid of Vadney, the  Lukens, the Robbins, the Krzykowskis, the Sylvesters (yeah, they have already been attacking Judy Sylvester!) on the board!” Who do they suggest to take their places…some select Coeymanazies? Is that why are they are attacking Judy Sylvester, because she voted her good conscience on the board of education president and vice president, because she voted her good conscience on getting rid of Matt Miller and saving the community $10 grand! She’s on the blacklist now because she didn’t vote the Deluca way! Are you still missing the connections?

More than $41 is an awful big temptaion for those already in the school system and receiving the benefits of the school budget and the contracts that may come out of it. And you think that those standing to benefit directly or indirectly for their favors and support are going to let a bunch of normal citizens make decisions that may prevent the graft, corruption and thievery that’s been going on in this district for years…the swimming pool was just the start.

The teachers and Deluca wanted James Latter to be president of the BoE; that failed. Then they tried to get him in as vice-president, that failed, too! James Latter was their only choice! But we all know James Latters history of misconduct, just read this blog and our article James Latter: Why Is He Still On the Board of Education? What do you think, we make this stuff up? It used to be reported in the News Herald but now that’s a Coeymanazi rag, too. Just ask around. Ask some parents about Latter’s misconduct! But James Latter was the Coeymanazi choice because he plays the Coeymanazi game.

It’s really nutz. I just read on one of the social media sites one of our own residents, R.J. D’Esposito, big idiotic grin on his fat face, posting a link to the latest Times Useless smear of the RCS community! This is the same R.J. D’Esposito that Dirty Hands Jerry keeps in tow. Why would D’Esposito relish in passing such garbage on, and drawing more attention to that despicable RAG that it ever deserves. That’s like shitting where you eat…maybe he does. We’ve been  told that  the FaceBook bandits on “RCS Friends and More,” apparently run by the Coeymanazis led by Cathy Deluca, whose favorite phrase is: “Just ignore him,”  allow R.J. D’Esposito to post the TU links (is that little grinning weasel working for the TU, we wonder?), but on reader tried to get equal time for this blog as an alternate viewpoint and the “RCS Friends” keep on removing it.  Deluca and her minions apparently would rather publish the anti-RCS blather from the Times Useless than the truth and true facts. There’s your community leader Cathy Deluca, for you. Well, with “RCS Friends” like D’Esposito and Deluca, we certainly don’t need any enemies!

We just heard (July 16, evening) that Michelle Waldenmaier Koeppel, one of the administrators on RCS Friends & More (FaceBook) has gone on a deleting rampage and has deleted all of the “political” comment on the site. Her reasoning is because the site is only for “getting together and sharing good times.” Of course, we know the real reason for the tyranical purge, don’t we? Now the majority of posts are by Guess who? None other than Cathy Deluca!

Lord Jeezis! When are you people going to wake up and smell the burning toast? How much of a smoke alarm do you people need to start pumping water on your burning community? How much longer are you going to lie down, roll over, get kicked, and thank the abusers for the abuse?

When are you finally going to tell that rag, the Times Useless, to go play someplace else? When are you finally gooing to stand up for what’s clearly, conspicuously, obviously right, and decisively clean your house of the Coeymanzies!

Get smart and stop believing all of the shite you’re beeing spoon fed! This is really getting embarrassing and really frustrating to stand on the sidelines and watch you people get creamed!

You Need to Make Some Choices!

Unholy, Downright Evil Alliances

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

It’s Amazing…No! It’s Terrifying to Learn How Evil Finds Allies

We’ve Learned that “Dirty-Hands Jerry” Deluca Has Hooked Up With His Evil Clown-Twin, a Specialist in Special Effects, Theater Sets, and Other Sorts  of Deception, John Luckacovic.

Luckacovic was, until recently, living in New Baltimore, but has since left to pollute Columbia county. Luckacovic has little or nothing to do with RCS and, apart from owning property in New Baltimore, like so many downstaters, has little or no connection with the area, EXCEPT: A pathological urge to stick his pitted nose into everyone else’s life and to control.

The similarities between the Deluca method and the Luckacovic method are astounding:

First of All:
They Look Alike!

In a beautifully written comment, one reader recently made an appeal to the ringleaders in the RCS Coeymanazi gang:

One last thing, please if you happen to be one of the couples that this blog focuses on, for your own good, sit back, stop reading this, and enjoy your family. It is hurtful to me as an outsider to see anyone with family being made a mockery of. If you step back and get out of the limelight, it will go away and someday just be a bad memory.

We don’t think that the reader meant that you should go back into the shadows, into the Twilight Zone, and continue to do your mischief from behind the scenes; what the reader obvously meant is “Give it a rest! Give the community a rest!”  “Dirty-Hands” Deluca apparently didn’t read it that way and, instead, is making some new friends…At least that’s what we’ve learned from new information we’ve received.

You may recall that early last May we published our article “A Little History Lesson,” in which we tell the parable of the dangers of social media, misinformation, and how people who, on the surface, appear to be community spirited are, in fact, really trolls inside. Well, it may behoove our readers to keep that article in mind when reading this report.

See if you can pick out John Luckacovic below

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

During the New Baltimore Water Wars Luckacovic and another evil import to the sleepy hamlet of New Baltimore, Joan Ross and hubby Bob Ross, managed to divide the New Baltimore community into previously unimaginably opposing groups. Luckacovic’s and Ross’ vitriolic anonymous publications created an atmosphere of suspicion, hate, and animosity in a previously harmonious hamlet. Sound familiar? It should! Remember the tactics used during the campaigning leading up to the budget vote?

Luckacovic and the Rosses had absolutely no interest in the community’s wellbeing or in progress. Their interest was simply seizing control and they did it by ambush and deceit. In fact, no sooner had Joan Ross enlisted the unwary cooperation of several New Baltimore residents than she cleverly coined the term, New Baltimorons, for her beloved neighbors! How’s that for community spirit?  Sound familiar?

Throughout the entire process Luckacovic and the Ross pair managed to appear squeaky clean, while misusing neighbors and lackeys to go out and do the dirty work. Sound familiar?

When a neighbor found out what Luckacovic and the Ross pair were up to and what they were conspiring, he denounced them and their methods, and rallied the community to wake up and see what they were up to. Sound familiar?

The plan to provide the New Baltimore hamlet with a much-needed public water supply, thanks to the efforts of Luckacovic and the Ross pair, was defeated. The hamlet of New Baltimore continues to have water problems.  The New Baltimore water project, in the planning for years, might have put New Baltimore somewhere on the map, but its defeat condemned New Baltimore to remain in the 18th century. We saw a replay in the May 15, 2012 school budget vote. The similarity between the two is mind-boggling!

Was the Deluca gang getting tips from the diabolic Luckacovic-Ross clowns?

Then, when a local resident ran for town justice in an effort to oust the corrupt and ignorant fixtures embeded in the town administration and to bring positive change to New Baltimore, the retaliation and smearing began again. They spared no-one, not family, not children, not friends, no one! Everyone and anyone associated with the candidate, even his honorable military service was fair game to the ambush cowards. Sound familiar?

Hiding behind the smoke screen of letters to the editor and paid advertisements they tried every trick in the book to smear the candidate, even enlisting outsiders to create scandalous rumors and get them published. The frauds committed and the evil done and condoned by Luckacovic and the Rosses through their lackies and ignorant henchmen was unbelievable…but Luckacovic and the Rosses were crazy like foxes…they managed to get others to do their dirty work while they sat back and played squeaky clean. They enlisted two henchmen, Richard Benham (an Austrian, now dead) and Scott Horne (an American who denounced his citizenship and now a Canadian citizen), both of whom had axes to grind (both were rejected by the candidate when they applied for jobs).

Not enough? Well, they also enlisted the Smalbany Times Useless to print their lies and even got their lackies to feed the idiot reporter, Guess Who? Scott Waldman, to print them. Sound familiar?

They Like The Same Things:
They’re Cannibals!

The cast of characters gets even more similar. When the defamed candidate took Luckacovic and the Rosses to court to answer for their lies, he did so representing himself, since the evidence was so overwhelming against Luckacovic and the Rosses. Somehow, according to a local insurance agent who at the time was carrying Luckocvic’s homeowners (was it Sturges?), Luckacovic tried to get the insurance company to cover his defense. He must have finagled some other creepy deal because he got his defense paid for by insurance, as did the Rosses, who all of a sudden were “employed” by Luckacovic’s company…was there insurance fraud involved? The case was assigned to Guess Who? Joe Teresi, former village and town attorney, now NYS supreme court  judge, father of former village and town attorney Greg Teresi. Little did the candidate know but Joe Teresi had been disciplined not once, but twice for anti-pro se bias; in other words, Teresi was disciplined for his tendency to abuse people who appear in court representing themselves! Fancy that! The New York State Unified Court System assigns a case in which the accuser is suing and representing himself to a judge, Joe Teresi, who they must have known had a record of abuse against persons representing themseves. Well, Teresi performed his role faithfully, and let the lawyers and Luckacovic and Ross trample justice and make a mockery of the whole system. Teresi even refused to allow the candidate to take the stand and speak. Teresi dismissed the case!

Only weeks afterward did it come to light that Teresi had his own baggage; had the NYS Unified Court System assigned the case to another, fairer, judge with no record of abuse, one who would have maintained control in the courtroom, one who would have made Luckacovic and Ross answer truthfully, the result would likely have been different. Instead, Teresi created a situation where Luckacovic and Ross could lie through their teeth and get away with it. It’s hopeless to attempt to get chronic liars to tell the truth, even when under oath. Sound familiar?

So, does the justice system sound familiar, too? It should, because the same bunch of yahoos are still running things and the same conspiracies are being hatched, and the same retaliation and intimidation is being launched against people with the common good at heart. Sound familiar?

The Backstabbing Game

So, there you have it, dear readers: The scary clowns have found each other and the old saying proves true again: “Birds of a feather flock together.” But there’s another saying: “There’s no honor among thieves.” And that also proved true in the case of Ross and LuckacovicRoss, even while they were collaborating and conspiring with Luckacovic against the Town of New Baltimore, badmouthed Luckacovic calling him a “loose canon,” among other things, and stating to the very candidate they were later to libel and slander that the candidate’s manners were better than Luckcovic’s. Describing herself, Ross writes in an e-mail that she has a pattern of tearing apart anyone who doesn’t see things her way.  Talk about psychos! All of this in black and white in e-mails! Joan Ross has a reputation for e-mail campaigns.

Hubby Robert “Robby” Ross even gets charged by the state police with aggravated harassment when he uses his jeep as a weapon and attempts to run down the candidate. Nice bunch, huh? Remember a while back when the cement plant was being lambasted for emissions?  Well, Robert “Robby” Ross has had neurological problems long before he came to New Baltimore, but just to show you how psycho these activists are, they took advantage of the press Lafarge was getting and they actually blamed Ross’ twitch on the Lafarge emissions! Incredible! Ross is over 70 year old and at the time less than 10 years resident in New Baltimore! If their lunatic claims were true everyone in Ravena and Coeymans should have been dead years ago and their kids walking around with three eyes and gills! It’s in black and white, and you can read about it on one of the Smalbany Times Useless blogs (read Ross’ TU blog comments at  Heavy Metals),in one of the Ross’ famous misinformation comments to the TU!

The Ross-Luckacovic Speciality
Now the Deluca Speciality

The tactics are remarkably similar between the Deluca method and the Ross-Luckacovic method of corrupting an otherwise harmonious community:

  • They do their mischief and dirty work concealed behind the scenes, making it appear they are squeaky clean (sounds like the way the ruling families of RCS work, doesn’t it?);
  • They don’t tend to come out into the open on the blogs and social media; they prefer to lurk or take their pokes anonymously or under fake names, or  as Internet trolls;
  • They work on the emotions and fire them up; they make sure that their audience is literally flooded with emotion so that their intellects are shut down;
  • The get some stupids in the community to do the dirty work and then, when they’re done using them, dump them (Is that what happened to Josephine O’Connor and Joe Tracey?)
  • They find a starving journalist on the Times Useless and feed him or her with factoids and rumor so that he or she can fill the  tabloid press with gossip and scandal (exactly what is happening with Daylin Roman);
  • They get someone to start a social media site where you can have their lackey’s with fake names comment with scripted lies (the Times Useless blogs);
  • They show up at all the public meetings only to be visible, saying all the right things  the audience wants to hear, they make accusations, demand impossible action, sound like they want the best for the community (Oh, God! This is really getting scary…is Deluca really Luckacovic or Ross dressed up to look like a Deluca?);
  • They scandalize, discredit, try to disgrace, humiliate, try to destroy anyone who might stand in their way or who might be capable of moving the public away from their self-serving interests (that’s actually happening in the RCS community as we write);
  • They want to win at all costs! If the truth is uncomfortable for them, then they lie, lie, lie–or get someone to lie for them.

Heard enough? Convinced yet? Send John Luckacovic and “Dirty-Hands” Jerry packing! It’s an aliance born in hell, raised on self-interest, corruption, lies, deception, and smoke screens. Send the scary clowns back to the satanic circus freak show where they belong.

Our advice to Dirty-Hands Jerry: We know the types you’re attracted to but really, for your own good and the good of the community, stay clear of your new friends. Take the advice of the reader and stay out of the limelight but stay out of the Twilight Zone, too. The characters you allegedly are courting are really bad news and are no friends of RCS.

Information Update as of July 16, 2012: According to our information, Jerry DeLuca, Ravena, New York was added to a local social media site by Cathy DeLuca about 2 months ago. John Luckacovic Director at 2Luck Concepts was added by Jerry DeLuca about 3 weeks ago to the same social media site. Since that social media site’s focus is on RCS gradutes and John Luckacovic graduated from Croton-Harmon High School, Croton-on-Hudson, NY (Class of 1967), and allegedly attended  Buffalo State College, Class of 1971 for theatre , art and design, he doesn’t appear to have any connection with RCS. Moreover John Luckacovic and his parner Eleanor Oldham give their addresses as 510 West 123rd Street, #67, New York, NY 10027 (New York County) and John Luckacovic, Box 473, 70 Reardon York, Canaan, NY 12029 (Columbia County). Accordingly, the RCS connection is very, very vague.

As for the other information provided in this article, the sources are court documents, depositions, newspaper articles, and actual e-mails. The statements and information are all verified.

Eliminating the Coeymans Police Department

Warning:If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

A Reader Contributes A Well-Founded Proposal For
Eliminating  the Money-Pit Coeymans Police Department
to Save the Residents of the Town of Coeymans
At Least $2 Million A Year

Your Tax Dollars & the Coeymans Police Department
There’s a Better Way!

The Author Advocates that the $2 Million Dollars Saved Could be Used to Develop Small Businesses, Parks and Recreation, and Historical Sites in the Area to Attract Residents, Businesses and Tourism. Not a Shabby Plan At All.

A Contribution by Laszlo Polyak, Ravena, New York

The blogger recently put out a poll about the Coeymans Police Department and asked whether you are for or against the dissolution of the police department based on the various complaints of police brutality, ineptness, unprofessionalism, lack of training, and violation of civil rights and abuse of citizens and residents.  And the blogger now sarcastically refers to them as the Coeymanazis, and giving some individuals personnel nicknames such as “Dirty Hands.”

I grew up in a township with county police only; no village or town police, only county and state police. Perhaps that is why 2 million people moved out of NY. A lot of southern states provide services such as fire, police, paramedics on a county level so people see the benefits and they feel the benefits in their wallets. How? You ask–they pay less taxes!

I find it personally very difficult to write about this, since I have family and friends who carry badges and who range from small town police officers to federal investigators.  For example, I have a cousin who is now retired from the PDNY and also from the FDNY.  Yes, one person, two hats, so there are people out there who experience an event like 9/11 with a whole different meaning, and we can’t fathom what they are thinking when they have lost hundreds of comrades and friends. It’s a different level of experiencing the world, yet they manage to act responsibly and compassionately, respectfully.

But back to the nitty-gritty: I want to take a down-to-earth non-personal dollar-and-cents approach to the idea of dissolving the Coeymans police department.  In the past Mayor John Bruno perhaps said it best when he questioned: “What do I see for my tax dollars?”  And then, a few years later, the village of Ravena dissolved their police department.  Now as a community we financially have to look at what we’re getting for our tax dollars, and ask that and similar questions.  Do we really see our state tax dollars at work when we have an elite force like the New York State Police using their sophisticated and advanced training doing nothing other than handing out  thruway traffic violations?  Do we see our county tax dollars at work via the Albany County Sheriff department, or even through the County District Attorney’s office? You’re probably thinking to yourself, “NO!” But you’re paying for all of it…at least 4 times for the same services. Smart, eh? Why don’t you do that for a quart of milk, a shirt, a car? Because it’s stupid!

In extremely hard financial times where people are losing their homes to back taxes or simply because they don’t have a job or have one that pays crappola! Imagine losing your home for a few hundred dollars and then our taxes going up and up and up. This might be a good time to ask that burning question: “Did you see all the For Sale signs go up  after the shool budget vote?”  Do we want to keep or disolve our Coeymans Police Department based on financial cost versus the benefits versus the same services by the New York State Police or the Albany County Sheriff’s department, who would provide the same services but from local satellite offices (just like the New York State Police and the Greene County Sheriff has done in neighboring New Baltimore).

For more than 20 years I have looked at the annual budget of the town of coeymans. And I have seen the spending go up and up.  Some frustrating by unfunded mandates.  So let me break down what I estimate the entire cost of running the police department is today.  Out of a reported $5 million town budget, approximately $750,000 for police salaries alone. (Compare that with more than $41 million for the RCS central school district budget! The school budget is more than 8 times that of the entire Town of Coeymans!) At the time of this writing, I am still waiting for the Town of Coeymans to respond to a F.O.I.L. (Freedom of Information Law) request for the W-2s of Coeymans Police department personnel.  I was told it would take another two weeks.  So I can only guestimate at the dispatch salaries which could be as much as $450,000 including secretarial salaries, etc. [Editor’s Note: According to SeeThrough NY, the 19 employees at the Coeymans Police Department total a crushing $650,000 in salaries) Then you have the cost of the vehicles, the cost of maintaining the vehicles that run 24/7 (tires, tune ups, oil change, etc.), not to mention the gas and the mileage covering the township in the rural and farm areas.  Then there is the maintenance for radio equipment, ongoing training, retirement fund, health benefits, and routine court and law suits.  That adds up to $2.2 to $2.4 million dollars.  I stand corrected by a $100,000 or so since I am still waiting for actual receipts.  The point is this: About half of the town budget, at least, is going to support the Coeymans Police Department. Are we that crime-ridden, are we that much of a gang of hoodlums that we need to spend that much on law enforcement? Can we afford to maintain a police department for a mere 8,000 people?  Perhaps we should look into turning over the operations to the Albany County Sheriff’s Department or the New York State Police or both and invite them to use our present law enforcement installations and offices.

And that’s what the Blogger is asking in the police poll, that’s the poll question: Would you support a referendum to eliminate the Coeymans Police Department? Would you support the ballot to turn over law enforcement to the professionals of the Albany County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police? Do you want to disolve it and turn it over or not??? For me I have a handful of honest issues.

Always Professional & Constantly Training

One of the top of my list is that we train officers and then they go off to other police departments/agencies; Coeymans is simply not a major career goal. If the officer is good and has a future, after he or she gets some experience, they go elsewhere.  And we are constantly doing the training.  And this is where minor to major civil rights violations have occurred; because the Coeymans Police are either rejects from other departments or are in their training training phase, we are sued for their lack of training.  And police training is continuous. I has to be! This situation not only expensive, it’s frustrating because we can’t retain the good, civic-minded, competent, intelligent police officers.   And now the facts indicate that that even our elected officials have neglected the requirement for a policy and procedures on who reports to whom, and how citizens’ complaints, yours and mine, are handled.  The patrol man answers to the sargeant, who answers to the police chief, the chief answers to the elected officials in this case the Town Supervisor and the town board. But according to information received from the Town of Coeymans, no one seems to know anything concrete about who reports to whom and what the chain-of-command might be. The result: chaos! And lawsuits! And civil rights violations! And miscarriages of justice! You name it Coeymans has it!

Another issue is that we have reports that the Coeymans Police Department selectively takes complaints, that is, police department employees tend to decide whether or not you’re going to get law enforcement services when you ask for them.  And that to me is totally unprofessional and biased–it’s also unlawful. If this happens to you then you must request assistance from the New York State Police or the Albany County Sheriff’s Office (although one Sheriff’s department employee who is also a part-time Coeymans Police Officer–and married to chief Darlington’s sister, recently refused to take a harassment complaint from a local woman). And then, please file a complaint with the FBI!

If somebody came by and asked me to sign a petition to dissolve the Coeymans Police Department, I sadly admit, there would be no compelling reason not to sign it, and I would sign it.  I would rather deal with the New York State Police or the Albany County Sheriff’s Department.  It would be unlikely that we would experience the personal bias or “get even” mentality based on gossip that 90% of the time results in retaliation, intimidation, and coercion by the local police.

Let’s Talk
Dollars & Cents

But more realistically to me I would be opting for a more efficient and productive use of my county and state tax dollars and looking at a potential savings of at least $2 million of our town tax dollars that could be better spent promoting small businesses, to development of our beautiful parks and our waterfront, to restoration of some of the beautiful historical sites in our midst. The $2 million dollars saved could be used to nurture pride in our town, and when you’re proud of your town, you’ll have a measurable increase in your own self-esteem, self-respect, and love for your neighbor. So when you look at it in dollars and cents, it makes sense very good sense to dissolve the Coeymans Police Department.  Not because one guy has “Dirty Hands,” or another guy harasses little old ladies, or because we personally have experienced civil rights violations or even profiling of one sort or another, or even if the Smalbany Blogger rightly or wrongly calls the Coeymans Police the Coeymansnazis. We also have to take a good hard look at the abuses and violations, real ones and potential ones, that come with the confusion and indifference we see in the Coeymans administration and the Coeymans Police Department. One example it the rubber-stamp approval of the Coeymans Police Department’s request for an increase in petty cash from $300 to $1000! There’s no way that $1000 can be considered “petty cash,” at least not according to all the accounting books I’ve read!

But, seriously, I think we should all provide our input on the poll because I’m curious about what the results of the poll would be, aren’t you?

These unfunded mandates are going to continue to go up and up and I doubt very much gasoline prices are going to go down.  So as a community we have to discuss this and if we do dissolve our inefficient, expensive Coeymans Police Department, then we must also make efforts to assist those persons who are left jobless with job placement elsewhere, perhaps somewhere in the community where they can really earn their keep. But to continue running the Coeymans Police Department we have to find justification in funding it, too.

We’re all in this mess together, so you have to really give some thought to “What’s your solution to a growing finaical burden?”

LASZLO POLYAK

Editor’s Epilog

Thank you, Mr Polyak, for a well-reasoned and well-written commentary on the present state of affairs of law enforcement in the Town of Coeymans. Your presentation is motivating and stimulates thought about the status quo and ignorance of the facts. Continuing the present situation is  like the reasoning of stopping your watch to save time, or complaining about fuel oil consumption and your fuel bill while still using the 75-year old converted coal boiler and not biting the bullet to install a fuel-efficient heating system. We’re all guilty at one time or another! But we need to make some  sensible decisions real soon or at least discuss alternatives in a constructive and sensible manner. Mr Polyak has provided us with a good start.

Hubby Opens His Fat Mouth…She Has to Apologize!

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

One of Our readers Who has Requested Anonymity has Provided Us with a Copy of an Exchange Ignited by Jerry Deluca’s Poor Choice of Words On One of Those Secret Club-Members-Only FaceBook-type Social Media Sites…And Jerry’s Backup, Cathy Deluca, Had to Come Up Real Quick with a Humble Apology.

Dirty-Hand Jerry Steps in it Again
Wotz That Smell, Jerry?

Of course, we don’t have access to the RCS Friends and More* site’s contents, and we’d probably be banned if the administrators knew we were reading it, too, but we do have some people who are keeping an eye out for the community and who sometimes send us some tidbits of interest. We thought you’d like to hear what your neighbors are talking about…

As we predicted, the Coeymanazis and their ringleaders are taking some well-earned flack. The Delucas are finding out that the community is sick and tired of their nastiness and their constant bellyaching, and the community is starting to talk back!

It seems Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca was not at all pleased with the re-election of John M. Vadney to be president of the RCS board of education, a real vote of confidence by the RCS community and the board itself, and was just as unhappy when Mike Robbins was elected to be vice-president. (It should be noted that a member of the teachers clique and Deluca pet, James Latter, a guy with a really unsavory history, was nominated to be president, LOST, and then was nominated to be vice-president, and LOST again! And you wonder why we baptized the Deluca gang The Losers Club“?)

Deluca left the meeting fuming when his pet, Matt “the Mutt” Miller got the boot! So what does Dirty-Hands Jerry do? He tries to smear the newest member, Judy Sylvester! Well, no-one was going to put up with that!

Read the comments and then read Deluca’s apology! (Editor’s Note: We’ve changed the names of the commentors to prevent retaliation by the Coeymanazis.)

“Dirty Hands Jerry” DeLuca may not have had his usual Coeymanazi backup at the July 10th board of education meeting but that didn’t keep him from sowing the sour grapes through a local gossip page on the Internet. Old “Dirty-Hands Jerry” writes:

I went to the Board meeting tonight in the hopes that The candidate who said she was an independent voice would use this opportunity to start to move RCS fowward. It was clear tonight that Mrs. Sylvester is totally alligned with the faction that continues to Bully and bring this district down. Fisrt she voted to relect Mr. Vadney as President and then voted to elect Mr. Robbins as VP. The coup de grace though came when she voted to oust Matt Miller from his post as director of energy conservation. The gang has it in for Matt and will do whatever it takes to punish him. Matt has saved the district a lot of money, but because they do not like that he stands up to their bullying they are trying to punish him. Our community is clearly a good community and good school district, we deserve real leadership. Do the right thing Judy.

Nice goin’, Jerry!
Can you get the other one in, too?

Matt Miller: Pet Weasel

Judy Sylvester did the right thing, Jerry! Of course, it wasn’t anything you would have done…it was the right thing, and Ms Sylvester has the full support of the community, too! But we really have to hand it to you, Dirty-Hands, in that remarkably small space you managed to bad-mouth just about everyone on the citizens/residents side of the board; 3 out of 5! It was no surprise, of course, that you spared the teachers clique and your pet weasel, Matt “the Mutt” Miller.  How do you manage? Well, you’ve had a lot of practice, haven’t you.

R.J. D’Esposito: The Fly on the Wall.

Well,  according to another of our sources, “Dirty Hands Jerry” was at the board meeting earlier in the evening when voting for officers was taking place and he stormed out when he heard the results. Neither Dirty-Hands Jerry or his partner Cathy Long-Deluca were  at regular meeting but their fly-on-the wall R.J. D’Esposito was sucking up everything. We’ll believe their sincerity and change of heart when their lackey whore journalist at the TU prints apologies to BoE!

R.J. D’Esposito

Little  Deluca pet R.J. D’Esposito appears to need a life! Or does he actually have one but spends it texting on the RCS Friends and More FaceBook site, that is, when he’s not heeling to Jerry Deluca or doing the almost-but-not-quite-famous RJ-staredown at the BoE meetings? Does he take off the dog collar when Jerry lets him out?

Whatever! This little muskrat has earned himself a real place among the girls on the gossip sites…not many of the local guys can make that claim to fame, RJ. Lucky you! Keep it up, muskrat… (Betcha like gladiator movies, too. Doncha?)

We get a real feel for the anti-Deluca sentiments and the growing support for the board of education from the community in some of the comments made by residents in response to Deluca’s usual whining and hate-mongering:

TA writes:

This kind of small-mindedness is maddening! Holding people accountable is now bullying?? What ‘gang’ are you referencing?? [redacted personal information] Who are the members?? Aren’t you some sort of detective?? Throwing around the words….gang?? So, because Judy voted along the same lines of some board members that you obviously don’t like, she is now a member of a GANG???? She no longer has an independent voice??? Oh my goodness, with thinking like that…what are you doing dealing with our community members and police force??? WOW…..

TA responds  to a Deluca/Miller supporter, Melissa Ashby:

I didn’t see where Mr. DeLuca stated anything at all about his children. I did see where (see above!) he attempts to characterize Judy Sylvester as being “aligned with” and “a member of the gang” that is attempting to bully our district. All because she voted YES or NO and other board members voted the same YES or NO. Mr. Miller may be a stand up guy but that doesn’t mean the RCS district needs to pay someone $10,000 a year in addition to their salary to be the Energy Manager. The majority of the Board voted to end that. It’s about time some tough decisions are made in this district. We are one of a few of the only schools IN THE NATION to have relatively no cuts in these economic times.

TA continues:

Oh…and what is the “right thing” you are asking Judy to do, Mr. DeLuca? Vote how you would vote?? That really gives her an independent voice, doesn’t it?

TA and then responds to Melissa Ashby (a member of the Deluca camp?):

And yes, [Melissa], I do have a child. He’s grown now, a smart, independent young man, college grad and member of the United States Navy. I’m a very proud mom!

BRAVO! TA and congratulations on having parented a fine young American!

Another commentor, SP, then  joins the conversation:

A[redacted], you’re so right! Not one thing was about the kids…..only about the board and Matt Miller….[Editor’s Note: We apologize. The continuation of this response was cut off in the copy we received.]

SP continues: As for time even I don`t get on her mobile when I am out. This is the last thing I think of doing! LOL

CPE writes:

ENOUGH, all of you. Enough is enough. I was not brought up in this school district and I do not know all of you as well as the rest of you obviously do, however I have to agree with the individual who stated that the RCS School District is the laughing stock of the capital district, and I might add that it may be the rest of the state. When I receive newspaper clippings from my home town some 150 miles away from here telling all of those people there that RCS didn’t receive extra grant money because we don’t have the right senators or congressman representing us then the problem is much greater than the minor squabbles that are going on here. You are all beginning to sound like and act, (from the stories I am hearing) like high school girls merely gossiping amongst themselves. Do we need change, I don’t know. What I do know is that if we have thugs on the school board who are trying to manipulate and bully the other members to vote the way they want, then shame on them, and shame on the other members who don’t have the backbone to stand up for themselves. If people have to go then get rid of them, if we need to bring in an independant investigator to look into this supposed voter fraud then do it. I’m sure that nobody on the board would have a problem with that, what with all of them being the upstanding honest citizens that they are supposed to be.  Start there with your witch hunt, and see who voices the loudest opposition and you just might find out who the rotten apple really is.

 MS writes:

I’m sorry but did I hear correctly, that there was more votes than signatures in the registration books? The $64,000 question, how many votes difference? One? Five? Two hundred? How many? Way bigger news than who failed to overthrow the current administration of the BOE. Now THAT warrants an investigation by the authorities, and I KNOW that the LOCAL authorities will recuse themselves from any possible criminal investigation of voter fraud….. RIG. As far as the re-election of officers goes, lets clarify the job duties and titles of the board of Education members. They are representatives that are elected by the residents of the said district, Sorry, that are preferably alive, are supposed to fiscally mindful of the tax dollars collected in the said district and see that those collected tax dollars are spent in a manner that is the most responsible for the Education of the children in the district. This does not mean that the board members are to be “bullied” by the administrators, teachers union, past and present teachers/residents, employees of the district or family members of ANY school district past or present employees.
Please stop with the wrapping of the shroud of “its for the children” why everyone should continuue to vote for cost gouging budgets when people are just trying to buy food “for the chidren

TA replies:

I think it was 48 but I’m not definite on that. And yes, it would be nice if the Board was allowed to operate without a few certain members of our community creating chaos all the time. We have recently had news of our Town and Village Of… [Editor’s Note: We apologize. The continuation of this response was cut off in the copy we received.]

SP voices his opinion of the Delucas:

The disgrace is you and your wife [referring to the Deluca pair] that want to control the school from the cheap seats. The taxpayers voted her [referring to Judy Sylvester] in, not you and your wife [Editor’s Note: OUCH!]………the school is in trouble, or we would not qualify for over 300,000 dollars for the middle school…….don`t you think you should get in behind the board and not try to add discord in the school district….Is this the way you act as a detective? If it is God help us!

Cathy DeLuca responds:

Everyone (even a police investigator) is free to express thier opinion and’exchange ideas on this page. It’s very sad that you seem to think we are having such a negative effect on the school district. Aside from expressing an opinion, I’m curious to know what you think we are doing to “control from the cheap seats”. I believe it is important to listen to constructive criticism as long as it’s done respectfully. I am NOT trying to provoke you in any way.

TA reponds:

I agree, [name redacted]. It appears that Mr. DeLuca thinks that Judy doesn’t have an independent voice. Why? Because she voted Yes or No at a Board meeting whereby the likes of Mr. Vadney (gasp!), Mr. Robbins (oh dear!), etc voted the same Yes or No. Anyone who knows Judy knows that she is no shrinking violet. She didn’t run for the Board to join a team. She very definitely has her own thoughts and voice. Perhaps this should be YOUR wake-up call, Mr. DeLuca. Could it possibly be that it made sense to her to vote that way?? Apparently, according to you, that couldn’t be possible. RIDICULOUS!! What next!!??

SP:

Mrs. DeLuca that was not opinion it was a statement….by a policeman that his salary is payed for by tax payers…….

Cathy DeLuca responds to the outrage expressed by a number of subscribers to the FaceBook posting by her dear hubby, Dirty-Hands Jerry Deluca and [falsely] humbly writes:

Hello Everyone, First of all I want to thank Ashley Anne Irwin, Karen Countryman and Elsie Proper Croteau for making me re-evaluate my own words and actions on this page. Ashley is correct, a long time friend of mine, Mr. Daniel Gonyea, is the creator of this page and it was intented to be a positive thing for our school and community. Dan gave me the privilage to be an administrator on the page and I have not held true to his original intention, however I WILL from here on out respect and honor his original intention. My apologies Dan. Jerry and I have discussed the current situation at great length and have agreed that neither of us will engage in negative banter any longer. Therefore, I am taking down Jerrys comment from last night. Ladies you are correct, thank you.
Unfortunately, I believe the use of social media has become a double edged sword. Although, we are able to more freely exchange ideas and opinions, we all have a tendency to choose our words with less caution than if we were speaking to someone face to face.

Yeah, Cathy, “social media has become a double-edged sword” and you and chubby chubby-chaser  hubby just cut your own throats with it! Sure, it’s tough controlling yourself when you’ve always felt you could hide behind members-only groups and say what you liked…when, really, have you ever speak to anyone respectfully, much less face-to-face? It’s tough when no one wants to talk to you anymore or when they cross the street to avoid you. And worse still, when dear hubby can’t keep his fat mouth shut, you have to come up with a groveling apology! Nice work, Jerry! Your home life must be getting real cozy about now! Now where’d you put that pet rat?

Nobody’s Listening, Deluca!

* Clarification: The RCS Friends and More FaceBook group is actually an “open group.” Visitors can see the posts but you must request “membership” for any other privileges, like posting a comment. Cathy Deluca is an “administrator” and is probably screening members but we can’t say that for certain. By the way, does anyone happen know where Cathy Deluca is getting the police information she appears to be posting on the site?

The Community Opportunity for Dialogue

Warning: If you are a student or a minor, please leave this blog NOW!

The Inaugural Session of the Board of Education on July 10th Was An Encouraging Sign that Common Sense and the Common Good Will Take the Lead

It Usually Takes Someone To Set the Fire

Another note that was struck was that the board of education has an important role to play as a committee of role models, and so its members each have the role as educators. This is a very important point to bear in mind and one that, if each of the board members keeps that educator role in focus and is guided by it, may generate some very promising results. You can actually set the example of a model community, of exemplary coöperation, of dialogue, even of productivity. Try it!

A word to the RCS community, too: Stop the bitching and whining! Perhaps once, just once some of you could approach the commentors’ podium and present an olive branch instead of a battle-axe! Perhaps instead of a steady stream of “I’m disappointed” or “You board members…” or any of the other now clichéed and ungrateful–Yes! ungrateful –and childish whining that has characterized the public comment segments, you could just get up and say “Thank you! You’re doing your best and we appreciate the time and effort you are putting into your mandates!”  Instead, most of you have simply been casting gasoline on a brush fire and then complain that all you’re getting is smoke. First of all you elected the board members to represent you and they are trying to do so. Second, they are doing it pro bono, for no pay, because they have a sincere interest in the community. Most of them can never hope to derive any benefit whatsoever from the time and work they put in. (As most readers will know, I hold a very different opinion of the motivations of the teachers and teachers’ spouses on the board.) And then they have to take your crap besides. Stop it! And try being grateful!

Cockroach or Coeymanazi?

For once in a very great while, the nay-sayers and ne’re-do-gooders were not present at the meeting in their force. It was a peaceful meeting without the Coeymanazis (though I would not deny even the Coeymanazis the privilege of attending, on condition they can manage to act like civilized adults instead of syphilized cockroaches), and in most respects it proceeded fairly orderly. There were the few exceptions but they’re in the minority now.

The citizen/resident side of the aisle, if you’ll allow me to differentiate the sides in that way, continues to be sincere, respectful, and courteous. Wouldn’t it be great if the sneering contrary teachers clique would do the same? Their performance complete with the usual downtalk, accusations, insults and arrogance is or should be a thing of the past. It’s time now Mr Engel, Mr Latter, Mr Reville, Ms Whalen to stop the lockstepping, to stop the arrogant know-it-all downtalking, to put aside the accusations, and start collaborating, cooperating and consensus building. (Also, if you think someone should resign, do it yourself!)  You don’t have a majority anymore and it’s unlikely, given the people you’ve been hanging out with and with whom you’ve formed your failing alliances, that you ever will again have the upper hand. So, little darlings, little pets, start being nicer if you expect to get anything done.

All eyes, especially ours, are watching very closely and we don’t miss much. Make nice and do good for your own goods and for the good of the community. (And put away the matches, please!)
