Secret Meetings on Budget at Public School?

02 May

Can someone clarify for us why known cronies and culprits Miller, Deluca and Bartlett, and candidate Edward Reville are holding secret meetings at a public school to discuss the RCS CSD budget?

Is Jerry Deluca Chief of a Secret Society?

Known delinquents are using their FaceBook accounts to call “secret meetings” using public premises to discuss their conspiracies relating to the RCS CSD school budget. Isn’t private use of public premises illegal in this state?

The Coeymanazis’ Meeting

Isn’t the RCS CSD budget a matter of public concern and not just for a special group’s friends list on FaceBook? Just why was the meeting called any why specifically by the arch-villains of the RCS school district, the sour-grapers who lost the last elections and have since been slandering and libeling anyone who has a good faith interest in the district?

Deluca, Bartlett, Miller; Reville’s on his way.

We’ve already exposed Jerry Deluca, so-called investigator on the Town of Coeymans Police Department and his immoral affair with Cathy Long now Deluca and their having been booted off of the RCS Board of Education; we’ve already reported on Matt Miller’s questionable activities as a member of the RCS teachers association, his double-dipping at RCS,  his full-time teacher’s salary and taxpayers paying for his union activities, and his questionable conduct with students relating to the Pledge of Alegiance and other matters; we’ve already expressed our doubts and questions about Board of Education candidate Edward “Teddy” Reville, who  doesn’t have the smarts to keep clear of these shady characters in this soapbox opera playing out in Ravena-Coeymans but now it’s gone a bit further–secret society meetings on public property.

Well, to have a meeting on public property, the Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School, to discuss the Board of Education and the district school budget is one thing but to have it by “invitation only” is quite another. And who approved the use of the school property for the meeting?

We also call into question the prudence of the Superintendant of Schools, Elizabeth Smith, and the principal of Pieter B., Hakim Jones, and ask: Did you know about this? Did you approve of this? Didn’t you ask the purpose of the meeting? That’s very naughty Betsy; you, too, Hakim!

We were actually wondering under which rock the snakes were hiding because they have been so quiet lately and now we know; they’ve been hatching more of their infernal brood and, like all treachery, it had to be kept under wraps. It’s the apparent complicency of the Superintendant and the school prinicpal that really irks the public mind!

Deluca moonlights as head of the Coeymanazi Gestapo!

One of our sources has even reported to us that Jerry Deluca was keeping an eye on who was comiing and going and actually followed one board member out of the building–was that intimidation by the Coeymanazis, we wonder? Secret police work, Mr Deluca?

Won’t these oversized juvenile delinquents ever grow up? And it’s these characters who have everything to say about everyone else and want to be leaders? Give us a break!Well, Deluca, Bartlett, Reville, Miller, Smith, Jones you’ve been caught with your paws in the cookie jar AGAIN! You can’t run and you can’t hide…we just have to follow the scent…and there you all are!

The Stench is Awful!

Just want to follow up by pointing out – – I’m only defending their use of the school. I’m not defending their opinions or actions, past or present.

I’ve never been afraid of an honest and respectful debate.

True. But then you punish the purpose when it becomes “criminal”. When it’s still “totally justified”, there’s little recourse.

If these folks are up to no good, fine. Lambaste ’em. As this point, everyone’s (this group and other wacky ones out there) still expressing whatever opinions they have. Until then, private “invitation-only” meetings would be allowed in this circumstance.

You make some good points, S. But I do want to use a cliché here in support of my position: beware of the wolf in sheep’s skin. The element of deceit can completely conceal the criminality, whether ethical criminality or legal criminality (there are times when there is overlap and others when there is not). The situation, because of the preferences of a small group of, if I may appropriate your term, whacky one’s has removed itself from the contexts of civil dialogue. The reason for this is apparently the tendency to ambush and distract in prosecuting one’s own agenda. Believe it or not, this blog was created not to concentrate on the lunacy playing out in some backwater like Coeymans or the in-denial RCS CSD, nor to flush out the rats in the system…We, I, believe that if the residents of the RCS community wanted to up the ante and improve their community there are some there who have brains enough to go about it and achieve it. Regrettably, they have stepped aside and have allowed the dark forces to get the upper hand; it now becomes infinitely more difficult to dislodge them from their dens. Somehow, as investigations and our attention was drawn to the characters and the circumstances, it became far more than scandalous, it became monstrous, an atrocity victimizing the innocent.

The figures exposed in these postings have established a pattern of deceit and once that patter is established, they have to wear the label or demonstrate otherwise. So far, they have not changed their tactics one iota.

That having been said, we do hope you appreciate that we encourage dissent and we encourage persons to present facts or information that will prove us wrong or at least cause us to reconsider the acuteness of our remarks. So far, S., those lambasted by this blog have avoided doing so. Silence is an admission of consent/guilt.

Thanks again for your always fair and insightful comments. We enjoy considering them.

Why shouldn’t they be able to use the school building for meetings? The laws are in New York provide for taxpayer use of public facilities (there may be costs if they have to bring in staff or if we’re in a contingency budget, but in most cases there’s no cost). Doesn’t matter what you’re meeting about. You could hold your needlepointing club there without Congressional approval.

In an ideal world that may be true, Simon, but we must also consider the circumstances involved as well as the characters playing the major roles in the circumstances. If it were a needlepointing [sic] club with no special interest agendas or ulterior motivations, we agree: No problemo! But it’s not and anyone following the intrigues and the machinations, the deceits and ambushes going on would probably not see the situation through your lens. At the risk of seeming extreme, I’d like to use the example of carrying a gun. The person and the circumstances in carrying the gun are decisive and operative; the purpose can be criminal or totally justified. As always, we must look at the entire picture.
